Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a backpack-type vacuum cleaner, and more specifically, to a backpack-type vacuum cleaner that minimizes noise generated during operation and prevents vibrations from being directly transmitted to the user by enclosing the motor of the backpack-type vacuum cleaner, which is worn on the user's back, with a soundproof cover member. Background Technology
[0002] Generally, wheeled vacuum cleaners clean by dragging the vacuum cleaner body while positioned on a flat surface of the indoor floor. While this poses no problem for cleaning flat indoor floors, it is difficult to clean stairs in buildings or apartments, or to remove dust accumulated in seats and corners inside theaters, buses, ships, and performance venues due to limited mobility.
[0003] Accordingly, in order to resolve the issue of limited mobility, a backpack-type vacuum cleaner was disclosed as in Registered Patent Publication No. 10-2265663.

[0025] Referring to the attached FIGS. 1 to 6, a backpack-type vacuum cleaner according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a backrest member (10), a backpack member (20), a vacuum pack (30), a filter member (40), a motor (50), and a cover member (60).
[0026] The above backrest member (10) is a structure that comes into close contact with the user's back, and a first connecting projection (11) is formed protruding on one side, and a shoulder strap (12) can be connected and fixed on the other side.
[0027] Here, the shoulder strap (12) is connected to both ends of the backrest member (10) and is adjustable in length.
[0028] The above backpack member (20) is detachably coupled to the above backrest member (10) and the hose (2a) of the detachable dust collection pack (1) and cleaning head (2) is connected, and includes a first backpack housing (21), a second backpack housing (22), an upper cover (23), a lower cover (24), a connecting block (25), and / or a pack fixing part (26) and a handle (27).
[0029] The first backpack housing (21) has a first coupling boss (21a) protruding on one side having a groove into which the first coupling projection (11) is fitted, and a second coupling boss (21b) protruding on the other side having a groove, and a motor fixing part (21c) to which the motor (50) is fixed is extended and formed at the bottom inside.
[0030] Here, a rotatable locking hook (21d) for locking the upper cover (23) is formed at both ends of the first backpack housing (21), and a third connecting projection (21e) for connecting the handle (27) can be formed protrudingly on one side of the upper surface.
[0031] The second backpack housing (22) is an identical structure facing the first backpack housing (21), and a second coupling projection (22a) that is fitted into the groove of the second coupling boss (21b) is formed protrudingly, and a first air discharge grille (22b) that discharges air sucked in according to the operation of the motor (50) is formed at the bottom.
[0032] That is, the first backpack housing (21) and the second backpack housing (22) are identical structures facing each other, and when combined, they can form an upper and lower open backpack structure having an internal space in which the vacuum pack (30), the filter member (40), and the motor (50) are accommodated.
[0033] The upper cover (23) is connected to the open upper portion when the first and second backpack housings (21, 22) are combined, and a locking portion (23a) may be formed at both ends to which a rotatable locking hook (21d) formed at both ends of the first backpack housing (21) is engaged.
[0034] The lower cover (24) is connected to the open lower portion when the first and second backpack housings (21, 22) are combined, and a second air discharge grille (24a) facing the first air discharge grille (22b) can be formed at one end.
[0035] The above communication block (25) is formed within the upper cover (23) and may have a vacuum suction port (25a) communicating with the inlet of the dust collection pack (1), a hose connector (25b) connected to a hose (2a) connected to the cleaning head (2), and a vacuum suction passage (25c) connecting the vacuum suction port (25a) and the hose connector (25b).
[0036] That is, when a strong vacuum suction force is applied to the vacuum pack (30) through the filter member (40) according to the operation of the motor (50), the vacuum suction force is applied to the cleaning head (2) through the vacuum suction port (25a), the vacuum suction path (25c), the hose connector (25b), and the hose (2a), thereby allowing dust and / or foreign matter present on the floor surface to be vacuum sucked up from the cleaning head (2), and the dust and / or foreign matter thus vacuum sucked up can be collected into the interior of the dust collection pack (1) through the hose (2a) and the vacuum suction path (25c).
[0037] Here, the above-mentioned communication block (25) may be configured as a separate or integrated unit inside the upper cover (23), and when configured as an integrated unit, it may be manufactured by a single injection molding.
[0038] The above pack fixing part (26) is rotatably coupled to the vacuum suction port (25a) formed in the above communication block (25) with a hinge as an axis, so that the fixing panel (1a) of the above dust collection pack (1) can be fitted and fixed.
[0039] Accordingly, when the amount of dust and / or foreign matter collected inside the dust collection pack (1) reaches a predetermined target amount, it is separated from the pack fixing part (26), making it possible to replace the dust collection pack with a new one.
[0040] The handle (27) is designed to allow carrying and moving a backpack-type vacuum cleaner according to an embodiment of the present invention, and accordingly, a coupling groove (27a) is formed in the handle (27), and the coupling groove (27a) can be fitted and coupled to the third coupling projection (21e) which is formed protruding from one side of the upper surface of the first backpack housing (21).
[0041] The vacuum pack (30) is made of a porous material and accommodates the dust collection pack (1) in the internal space of the backpack member (20). A suction force is applied by driving the motor (50), thereby allowing dust and / or foreign matter to be collected in the dust collection pack (1) through the hose (2a), and also allows for primary filtering of fine dust when it is discharged from the dust collection pack (1).
[0042] Here, a strip-shaped fixing part (31) is formed on the top of the vacuum pack (30), and the strip-shaped fixing part (31) can be fixed over the top of the first and second backpack housings (21, 22) that form the backpack member (20).
[0043] The filter member (40) is positioned at the bottom of the vacuum pack (30) within the internal space of the backpack member (20) to secondarily block the external discharge of fine dust scattered from the dust collection pack (1).
[0044] That is, even if fine dust is filtered first through the vacuum pack (30), there may still be fine dust passing through the vacuum pack (30), and the filter member (40) filters the fine dust passing through the vacuum pack (30) secondarily, and includes a support part (41), a filter fixing part (42), a filter cover (43), and a filter (44).
[0045] The above support portion (41) is formed at the bottom of the internal space formed when the first and second backpack housings (21, 22) are combined, and an air intake grille (41a) is formed to allow the suction force generated by the driving of the motor (50) to be applied to the vacuum pack (30).
[0046] The filter fixing part (42) is formed on the upper end of the support part (41) and has hooks (42a) protruding from both ends, and the open upper part is covered by a filter cover (43) having a grill.
[0047] That is, the filter fixing part (42) is open at the top as a square strip-shaped structure on the upper part of the support part (41) so that the air intake grille (41a) is exposed, and the open top is covered by the filter cover (43) on which the grille is formed.
[0048] The filter (44) may be a HEPA filter that is accommodated in the filter fixing part (42) so as to face the air intake grille (41a).
[0049] The motor (50) is fixed to a motor fixing part (21c) that is extended and formed at the bottom of the first backpack housing (21) and is positioned at the bottom of the filter member (40), and is driven to apply vacuum suction force to the inside of the vacuum pack (30) and the dust collection pack (1) through the filter member (40).
[0050] The above cover member (60) is coupled to the outside of the motor (50) and absorbs vibrations and noise resulting from the operation of the motor (50) so that they are not transmitted to the backrest member (10), and includes a front cover (61), a side cover (62), and a rear cover (62).
[0051] The above front cover (61) is made of a material having a cushioning function (e.g., silicone, rubber, etc.) and covers the front part of the motor (50) facing the filter member (40), and absorbs vibrations generated when the motor (50) is driven. It includes a first cover (61a) and a second cover (61b) that form a ring-shaped structure.
[0052] The first cover (61a) is coupled to the front edge of the motor (50), and the second cover (61b) is coupled to the center of the front part of the motor (50) through the center of the first cover (61a).
[0053] The above side cover (62) is a pair of opposing structures joined by a fastening member (e.g., screw), and is also made of a material having a cushioning function (e.g., silicone, rubber, etc.) and is joined to both sides of the motor (50) while covering the first cover (61a) included in the front cover (61), and each can have an air discharge port (62a) formed therein to discharge air sucked in according to the operation of the motor (50) in a lateral direction to reduce noise generated during air discharge.
[0054] That is, the air discharge port (62a) reduces noise generated during air discharge by diverting the discharge direction of air sucked into the motor (50) from the air intake grille (41a) included in the filter member (40) to the side. This is intended to minimize noise generated when the sucked air passes through the front part of the motor (50) and is discharged with straightness to the rear part of the motor (50).
[0055] Meanwhile, a plurality of guide ribs (62b) that guide air discharge to the air discharge port (62a) may be formed on the inner end of the side cover (62), and the guide ribs (62b) may absorb vibrations caused by the operation of the motor (50) while contacting the outer surface of the motor (50) and simultaneously reduce noise.
[0056] Therefore, even if the air discharged laterally through the air outlet (62a) passes through the second air discharge grille (24a) formed in the lower cover (24) and is discharged to the outside of the backpack member (20) through the first air discharge grille (22b) formed in the second backpack housing (22), the noise resulting from the discharge can be reduced.
[0057] That is, the air discharged through the air outlet (62a) is diverted and passes sequentially through the second air discharge grille (24a) and the first air discharge grille (22a), and the noise associated with the discharge can be significantly reduced.
[0058] The rear cover (63) is secured by a pair of side covers (62) facing each other while covering the rear part of the motor (50), and is also made of a material having a cushioning function (e.g., silicone, rubber, etc.) and has a cushioning projection (63a) formed protruding from one side that contacts the rear surface of the motor (50) to absorb vibrations caused by the operation of the motor (50).
[0059] As shown in the attached FIGS. 1 to 6, the backpack-type vacuum cleaner according to the embodiment of the present invention first connects the hose (2a) of the cleaning head (2) to the backpack member (20), and then the user wears the backpack member (20) on their back using the shoulder strap (12) connected to the backpack member (20).
[0060] Afterward, the user moves to a staircase in a building or apartment, or to a seat or an inner corner in a theater, bus, ship, or performance hall, and then operates the control unit (not shown) to turn on the motor (50).
[0061] Then, as vacuum suction force is applied to the cleaning head (2), dust and / or foreign matter vacuumed through the cleaning head (2) can be collected in the dust collection pack (1) via the hose (2a).
[0062] At this time, the vibration generated when the motor (50) is driven is first absorbed by the front cover (61) attached to the front part of the motor (50), and the vibration generated from the motor (50) is not directly transmitted to the side cover (62) and rear cover (63) that surround the side and rear of the motor (50).
[0063] And, since the guide ribs (62b) protruding from the side cover (62) are in contact with the outer surface of the motor (50) and the cushioning projections (63a) protruding from the rear cover (63) are in contact with the rear surface of the motor (50), even if the vibration of the motor (50) is indirectly transmitted to the side cover (62) and the rear cover (63), the indirectly transmitted vibration is secondarily absorbed by the guide ribs (62b) and the cushioning projections (63a), thereby minimizing the external emission of vibration generated from the motor (50), and accordingly, the user wearing the backpack member (20) can be prevented from experiencing discomfort due to vibration transmission.
[0064] That is, when vibrations resulting from the operation of the motor (50) as described above are transmitted to the back of a user who is cleaning through the backrest member (10), a shaking phenomenon may occur not only in the back of the user but also throughout the entire body through the back, and such shaking phenomenon may hinder the user's cleaning progress, and in severe cases, an optical illusion caused by the shaking phenomenon may occur, leading to a fall accident. The backpack-type vacuum cleaner according to the embodiment of the present invention is intended to prevent such problems.
[0065] Meanwhile, external air sucked in by vacuum suction force during the operation of the motor (50) passes through the dust collection pack (1) and vacuum pack (30), is sucked into the front part of the motor (50) through the air intake grille (41a) of the filter member (40), passes through the motor (50), and is discharged to the outside while changing direction through the air discharge port (62a) of the side cover (62) surrounding the motor (50), thereby primarily reducing noise.
[0066] At this time, a guide rib (62b) is formed on the inner end of the side cover (62), and a second air discharge grille (24a) facing the air discharge port (62a) is formed on the lower cover (24), and a first air discharge grille (22a) facing the second air discharge grille (24a) is formed on the second backpack housing (22) included in the backpack member (20). Therefore, the air, which has its discharge direction changed through the air discharge port (62a) and has its primary noise reduced, is discharged sequentially through the second air discharge grille (24a) and the first air discharge grille (22a), thereby allowing the noise associated with the air discharge to be reduced significantly in a secondary manner.
[0067] Therefore, by reducing the noise generated during air discharge as described above, the noise transmitted to the ears of the user cleaning through the backrest member (10) can be minimized, and this can prevent noise damage to the user cleaning while wearing the backpack member (20).
[0068] Thus, the embodiment of the present invention not only prevents vibration caused by the operation of the motor (50) but also changes the discharge path of the sucked air, thereby minimizing vibration and noise that may occur due to the operation of the backpack-type vacuum cleaner worn by the user, and thereby has the characteristic of increasing the convenience of use of the backpack-type vacuum cleaner.
[0069] Although the technical concept of the backpack-type vacuum cleaner of the present invention has been described above together with the accompanying drawings, this is merely an illustrative description of the best embodiment of the present invention and is not intended to limit the invention.
[0070] Accordingly, the present invention is not limited to the specific preferred embodiments described above, and anyone with ordinary knowledge in the art to which the invention pertains can make various modifications without departing from the essence of the invention as claimed in the claims, and such modifications will be within the scope of the claims.
