[0005] As a machine for transporting cargo or workers, an assembled mast is stacked above the expected height of the building to be constructed, a carrier is installed on it, and then the carrier is raised or lowered using various hoisting devices to transport construction materials or personnel to each floor of the building.
[0006] Such a construction lift is additionally configured with a cable for supplying power to a drive unit for driving the carrier up and down, a distribution panel for controlling the operation of each part using the supplied power, and a sensing means for detecting the position of the carrier as it travels up and down on the mast and guiding the carrier to the call floor.
[0007] Construction lifts are stacked vertically to match the building height, and the lift moves up and down along the mast. During this process, the mast is stacked to the desired height by assembling unit masts one by one and gradually increasing the height.
[0008] During mast assembly, a worker climbs onto the top of the carrier to assemble the unit masts one by one, and the work is carried out in a manner where the carrier rises along with the mast as it increases.
[0009] In this situation, if the carrier moves beyond the highest point of the mast due to mechanical malfunction or other reasons, it will fall. In fact, accidents resulting in the death of workers due to carrier falls continue to occur. Prior art literature

[0023] Referring to the attached drawings, a construction lift according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a mast (100) in which a unit mast, having a plurality of frame combination structures, is joined in a vertical direction; a carrier (200) having a guide rail (210) mounted on one side to allow it to rise or fall along the mast and having a passenger space inside; a drive unit (300) mounted on the carrier to drive the carrier to move along the mast; and a control device (400) on the upper part of the carrier to control the operation of the drive unit, wherein the control device detects the end of the mast and can cut off the power to the drive unit when the control device rises higher than the end of the mast.
[0024] The above mast (100) can be assembled as a unit mast to match the building height and can be composed of a plurality of vertical frames (120) and horizontal frames (130). A rack gear (110) is installed on the mast and rotates in engagement with the gear of the drive unit (300) to allow the carrier to move up and down.
[0025] The above-mentioned carrier (200) is intended to transport materials needed at a construction site, and a predetermined space is provided inside, and a driving unit (300) for driving the carrier (200) may be installed.
[0026] A crane (10) is mounted on the upper part of the carrier (200) so that the unit mast can be lifted when assembling the mast. A guide rail (210) is mounted on the side of the carrier (200), and a roller is mounted on the guide rail (210) so that the carrier (200) can be easily moved along the mast.
[0027] Since the worker climbs onto the top of the carrier to work during the mast assembly process, a safety railing (600) is installed on the top of the carrier to prevent the worker from falling.
[0028] A safety railing (600) is installed around the upper edge of the carrier, but not on the part where the mast (100) is installed. This is because the safety railing may interfere with the mast assembly work.
[0029] A platform unit (500) is formed on the upper part of the above-mentioned carrier (200), allowing a worker to stand on the platform unit (500) and perform mast assembly work. Conventionally, since there is no platform unit, the carrier must be raised to the maximum height to fasten the bolts on the upper part of the mast during mast assembly work; however, in this case, the carrier may fall off the mast due to mechanical malfunction. In other cases, the worker must climb onto a railing to perform the work, which also poses a risk of the worker falling.
[0030] In the present invention, a footrest unit (500) can be added to help prevent the worker from falling and the carrier from falling, as well as to increase work efficiency.
[0031] The above footrest unit (500) can be attached to the vertical frame (120) of the mast.
[0032] The above footrest unit (500) may include a pair of vertical supports (510) that are horizontally coupled to the vertical frame of the mast on the guide rail (210) and include a ring portion (512) that is fastened to the vertical frame, a horizontal support (520) that connects the pair of vertical supports, a footrest portion (530) that is fastened to the top of the vertical supports and protrudes in the direction of the carrier, and a load support (540) that is connected to the footrest portion and the vertical supports to support the load of the footrest.
[0033] If the load support (540) is formed at an angle, a folding part (542) can be formed in the center. Therefore, when the footrest (530) is not needed during work, the footrest (530) can be folded. By folding the footrest, maintenance and repair of the construction lift can be made easier.
[0034] The above horizontal support (520) may include a lower horizontal support coupled to the lower part of the vertical support and an upper horizontal support coupled to the upper part.
[0035] It is preferable that the above control device (400) be fastened to the upper horizontal support.
[0036] A cover that protects the control device may be attached to the upper horizontal support (520). The cover (520) can protect the control device from rainwater or foreign matter.
[0037] A fixing plate (514) with a screw hole formed therein can be attached to the lower part of the vertical support (510) of the footrest unit. The fixing plate (514) is attached to the direction of the carrier, opposite to the ring portion (512). The upper edge of the carrier (200) has a rib (211) formed protruding to a predetermined height, and the footrest unit can be firmly fixed by screwing the fixing plate (514) and the rib (211). The fixing plate (514) may be composed of a first fixing plate (514-1) extending downward parallel to the vertical support (510) and a second fixing plate (514-2) protruding vertically in the direction of the carrier. The first fixing plate (514-2) can prevent the first fixing plate (514-1) from bending when fastened with a bolt.
[0038] The control device (400) may include a limit switch mounted to contact the mast. The limit switch can be turned on to cut off the power supply to the drive unit when the carrier is raised and contact with the mast is lost. The limit switch may be in contact with anywhere, such as the vertical frame or rack gear of the mast. In the embodiment of the present invention, contact with the rack gear of the mast is shown as an example.
[0039] The above control device (400) may include various devices capable of detecting the height of the mast in addition to the limit switch. For example, the control device (400) may include a proximity sensor, and if the proximity sensor does not detect the mast, the control device may determine that it has risen higher than the mast and cut off the power to the drive unit.
[0040] The limit switch may include a main body (410) mounted on the carrier and having a contact (424) inside, a switching part (420) rotatably coupled to the main body within a predetermined range and turning the contact on or off according to rotation, an arm (430) coupled to the switching part and extended in the direction of the rack gear, and a roller (440) coupled to the end of the arm and contacting the rack gear to rotate along the contact surface of the rack gear when the carrier moves.
[0041] The switching unit (420) may include a rotating shaft (421) mounted on the main body, a torsion spring (422) coupled to the rotating shaft and providing tension to move the arm downward when the roller falls from the rack gear, and a pressing unit (423) formed integrally with the arm in the opposite direction to the arm around the rotating shaft and pressing the contact according to the movement of the arm.
[0042] Therefore, when the above roller is removed from the mast and the arm is lowered by the tension of the torsion string, the pressurizing part rises and presses the contact, so that the contact can be turned on.
[0043] When the contact is turned on, the power supplied to the PCB board of the driving unit is cut off, thereby stopping the driving unit from operating and stopping the carrier from rising.
[0044] FIG. 5 shows a state in which the limit switch is in contact with the rack gear (110) of the mast and is operating normally, and FIG. 6 shows a state in which the limit switch is raised higher than the end of the rack gear (110) of the mast and the limit switch is turned on.
[0045] If the carrier rises higher than the mast, there is no longer a support for the carrier, so there is a risk that the carrier will fall. However, by attaching a control device to the top of the carrier and cutting off the power to the carrier when the control device rises higher than the mast, the carrier can be prevented from falling by preventing it from rising further.
[0046] In this specification, only a few examples among the various embodiments performed by the inventors are described; however, the technical concept of the present invention is not limited or restricted thereto, and it is obvious that it can be modified and implemented in various ways by those skilled in the art.
[0047] Additionally, an upper work platform (900) may be provided above the carrier (200) to provide a height for working. This is to position the carrier (200) at a relatively lower position than the working position so that the carrier (200) is safely supported on the mast (100).
[0048] As shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, an upper auxiliary platform (910) may be further provided between the upper work platform of the above carrier and the mast (100). This is to ensure a wider stable space when a worker works on the above carrier.
[0049] Additionally, if the bottom surface of the upper work platform (900) is spaced apart from the mast (100), the upper auxiliary platform (910) may be further provided in the space between the bottom surface and the mast (100). The upper auxiliary platform (910) may be formed in a shape such as a square, rectangle, or trapezoid to correspond to the shape of the space between the upper surface of the upper work platform (900) and the mast (100).
[0050] The above upper auxiliary step (910) can be manufactured as a foldable or drawer type depending on the convenience of repair, and the step and the handrail support plate can be separated considering the load, and an integrated type depending on convenience
[0051] Additionally, the above-mentioned carrier (200) may further be provided with a safety hook portion (700) to ensure that the mast (100) is securely fixed to the carrier (200) and the assembled mast (100) below during the assembly of the mast (100).
[0052] The above safety ring portion (700) is configured such that one end is fixed to the carrier (200), and the other end is formed in a hook shape so that the tip is hooked onto the column of the mast (100).
[0053] To maximize the above-described function, the safety ring portion (700) may comprise a first safety ring (710) connected to the mast (100) assembled with the carrier (200), a second safety ring (720) connected to the lower end of the mast (100) for assembly and the upper end of the carrier (200), a third safety ring (730) connected to the center of gravity of the carrier (200) and the assembled mast (100), and a fourth safety ring (740) connected to the upper end of the mast (100) for assembly and the footrest unit of the carrier (200).
[0054] First, the first safety ring (710) connects the lower part of the carrier (200) and the assembled mast (100). That is, it serves to safely support the carrier (200) on the mast (100).
[0055] And, the second safety ring (720) connects the upper end of the carrier (200) and the lower end of the mast (100) for assembly. This allows the mast (100) for assembly to be fixed to the carrier (200).
[0056] And, the third safety ring (730) connects the center of gravity of the carrier (200) and the assembled mast (100). This is to ensure that the carrier (200) is more safely supported on the mast (100). That is, the third safety ring (730) is coupled to the assembled mast (100) together with the first safety ring (710), so that the upper and lower parts of the carrier (200) are safely supported on the assembled mast (100).
[0057] And, the fourth safety ring (740) is connected to the top of the assembly mast (100) and the footrest unit of the carrier (200). This allows the assembly mast (100) to be fixed to the carrier (200). That is, the fourth safety ring (740) is coupled to the assembled mast (100) together with the second safety ring (720), so that the upper and lower parts of the assembly mast (100) are safely supported on the carrier (200).
[0058] Additionally, as shown in FIG. 10, a sensor is provided at the top of the carrier (200) to restrict the position of the third safety ring (730) so that it does not extend beyond the top of the assembled mast (100). This is to further enhance work stability by ensuring that the carrier (200) can be safely supported on the assembled mast (100).
[0059] Additionally, as shown in FIGS. 11 and 12, an auxiliary platform (800) may be further provided between the carrier (200) and the mast (100). This is to ensure a wider stable space for the worker when working on the carrier.
[0060] Additionally, if a floor surface is provided above the carrier (200) spaced apart from the mast (100), the auxiliary step (800) may be further provided in the space between the floor surface and the mast (100). The auxiliary step (800) may be formed in a shape such as a square, rectangle, or trapezoid to correspond to the shape of the space between the upper surface of the carrier (100) and the mast (100).
[0061] The above auxiliary step (800) can be manufactured as a foldable or drawer type depending on the convenience of repair, and the step and the handrail support plate can be separated considering the load, and an integrated type depending on convenience
[0062] A safety sensor may be further provided above the above footrest unit at a distance. Explanation of the symbols
