Description

Technology Field

[0001] The technical field of the present invention relates to a window with an outer wing profile, and more specifically, to a window installed in a window opening formed in a wall or sandwich panel of a building, wherein the profile provided in the rim portion of the window frame is implemented such that a wing is integrally formed on only one side. Background Technology

[0002] Windows and doors refer to windows and doors that are used to isolate the interior from the exterior to block wind while allowing natural light to enter the interior or to ventilate the interior. Looking at their structure, they consist of a window frame installed in a window opening formed in a building wall or sandwich panel using a profile (or "frame") provided at the perimeter, and a window sash or door sash equipped with glass that is mounted to open and close within the window frame.

[0003] The structure of such windows must take into account aesthetics in terms of interior and exterior design, user safety, ventilation, and ease of construction. In addition, the window area is where the most heat transfer to the outside occurs in various types of buildings, such as apartments and other structures; accordingly, research on insulation structures to minimize heat transfer in the window area has been conducted.

[0004] In the case of high-rise windows installed in high-rise buildings, wind pressure resistance capable of withstanding strong winds must be considered in addition to aesthetics, safety, ventilation, and ease of installation. In particular, glass breakage caused by wind pressure from typhoons or localized strong winds not only disrupts residential life but can also sometimes result in casualties from glass fragments. Therefore, tape or newspaper is attached to window glass as a protective measure to prevent glass breakage from strong wind pressure. This utilizes the principle that if water is sprayed onto the glass while newspaper is tightly attached, the tensile strength of the glass increases, causing the glass to bend but not break even when strong winds blow.

[0005] Korean Published Patent No. 10-2017-0075270 (published July 3, 2017) discloses a window with improved wind pressure resistance, wherein a window frame reinforcing member protruding to one side is formed on the window frame of an openable window to improve the wind pressure resistance of the openable window, and the wind pressure resistance is further improved by configuring the window frame reinforcing member to interlock with the window frame of a fixed window. According to the disclosed technology, a window comprising a window frame installed in a window opening of a building wall, a fixed window installed to be fixed to the window frame, and an openable window installed to be opened and closed on the window frame, wherein the window frame installed in the opening of the building wall; a fixed window frame fixed to the window frame, comprising a pair of opposing first and second vertical profiles and a pair of first and second horizontal profiles connecting the upper and lower ends of the first and second vertical profiles, and a fixed window composed of a fixed window glass installed inside the fixed window frame; The opening and closing window is characterized by comprising: an opening and closing window frame installed to slide on a window frame, consisting of a pair of opposing third and fourth vertical profiles and a pair of third and fourth horizontal profiles connecting the upper and lower ends of the third and fourth vertical profiles; an opening and closing window glass installed on the inner side of the opening and closing window frame; and a window frame reinforcement member formed to protrude from the second vertical profile of the opening and closing window frame toward the fixed window frame to improve the rigidity of the opening and closing window frame and positioned adjacent to the side of the first vertical profile of the fixed window frame when the window is closed.

[0006] Korean Registered Patent No. 10-1949136 (registered on February 12, 2019) discloses an insulated window, comprising: a window frame having an opening and fixed to a wall; a pair of indoor window sash units each comprising a glass panel and an indoor window sash frame supporting the glass panel, arranged to selectively open and close a portion of the indoor side of the opening; and a pair of outdoor window sash units each comprising a plurality of glass panels and an outdoor window sash frame supporting the plurality of glass panels, arranged to selectively open and close a portion of the outdoor side of the opening, wherein the window frame comprises: an indoor window frame on which a pair of indoor window sash units are mounted; an intermediate window frame on which one of the pair of outdoor window sash units is mounted; a plurality of first insulating members connecting the indoor window frame and the intermediate window frame; and an outdoor window frame on which another of the pair of outdoor window sash units is mounted. The invention includes a plurality of second insulation members connecting an intermediate window frame and an exterior window frame, wherein a pair of exterior window sash units are each positioned on both sides of a virtual second insulation line passing through the centers of the plurality of second insulation members, and one exterior window sash unit is positioned between a virtual first insulation line passing through the centers of the plurality of first insulation members and a second insulation line, wherein the plurality of first insulation members include an inner insulation member and an outer insulation member, wherein the inner insulation member is an EPDM gasket and the outer insulation member is formed of a polyurethane material, and the plurality of second insulation members are formed of a polyamide material, and the second insulation members are characterized by having a longer length than the first insulation members. According to the disclosed technology, it has an improved insulation effect.

[0007] In the technology described above, as illustrated in FIG. 1, the profile (110) provided on the edge portion of the window frame (100) is installed in the latter part of the work process by making a desired opening in the wall (200) of the building at the location where the window frame (100) is to be placed. At this time, since the window frame (100) (i.e., the profile (110)) does not have wings, a portion (a) must be created to protrude the window frame (100) from the wall (200) at a certain level, but creating the protruding portion (a) has the disadvantage of requiring a high level of skill from the worker. In addition, the gap between the wall (200) and the window frame (100) must be sealed with silicone or urethane foam for waterproofing and insulation. However, since the sealed part (b) that has undergone this sealing process is exposed to the outside, the interior must be finished with a finishing molding part (c) that has different properties from the window frame (100), and the exterior is usually finished with silicone, which has the disadvantage of not being aesthetically neat.

[0008] In the technology described above, regarding the profile provided on the perimeter of the window frame for sandwich panels, the window frame must be installed together with the sandwich panel. If this is not done, there is a disadvantage in that one wing must be cut off at the construction site because the window frame (i.e., the profile) has wings on both sides. Additionally, depending on the skill level of the worker, product damage varies significantly, and the cut section is irregular, resulting in an aesthetically unappealing finish. Furthermore, in the case of the window frame for sandwich panels, due to the wings on both sides, there is a disadvantage in that the gap between the sandwich panel opening and the window frame cannot be sealed with silicone or urethane foam for waterproofing and insulation. Moreover, window frames equipped with profiles having wings on both sides have the disadvantage that only the sandwich panels specified for the frame can be used because the size specifications between the wings are fixed. [0045] Figure 4 is a drawing illustrating the profile in Figure 2 as a second example.

[0046] Referring to FIG. 4, the profile (1110) further includes one or more guideline grooves (1115) and one or more movable protrusions (1116) in addition to the main body (1111), wing (1112), and multi-molding (1113).

[0047] The guideline groove (1115) is formed on the other side of the main body (1111) and guides the multi-molding part (1113) (i.e., the moving projection (1116)) when the multi-molding part (1113) moves on the other side of the main body (1111).

[0048] In one embodiment, the guideline groove (1115) may have elastic bodies (not shown in the drawing for convenience of explanation) formed at predetermined intervals on its inner surface so that a movable projection (1116) is positioned between the formed elastic bodies.

[0049] The movable projection (1116) is formed to protrude on the inner side of the multi-molding part (1113) and is inserted into the guideline groove (1115) to move, thereby allowing the multi-molding part (1113) to move on the other side of the outside of the main body part (1111).

[0050] In one embodiment, the profile (1110) may further include a filling member (not shown in the drawing for convenience of explanation).

[0051] The filling member fills the empty space of the guideline groove (1115) after inserting and moving the moving protrusion (1116) into the guideline groove (1115) using silicone or urethane foam.

[0052] For the above, embodiments of the present invention are not limited to implementation only through the devices and / or operating methods described above, but may also be implemented through a program for realizing functions corresponding to the configuration of the embodiments of the present invention, a recording medium on which such program is recorded, etc. Such implementation can be easily achieved by a person skilled in the art to which the present invention pertains from the description of the embodiments explained above.
