Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present disclosure relates to a fastener assembly for a vehicle. Background Technology

[0002] Generally, when assembling a vehicle, parts that are not subjected to heavy loads or do not require strong connections—such as attaching trim or brackets to panels—are assembled using fasteners rather than welding, bolts, or screws. Fasteners are widely used fastening mechanisms because they allow trim or brackets to be easily attached to panels or other surfaces by simply applying pressure by hand, without the need for separate tools.

[0003] Korean Registered Patent Publication No. 10-1987877 discloses a fastener bracket.

[0004] The fastener bracket disclosed in the same publication comprises: a top plate having a seating groove into which an insertion part of the fastener is inserted and seated, and an opening communicating with said seating groove; a side plate having a first guide part formed on both sides to guide the lower surface of a locking piece of said fastener; and an anti-detachment projection formed protruding inward from said side plate to prevent said fastener from detaching from said seating groove.

[0005] The aforementioned fastener bracket requires that the top plate be provided with an opening (a passage open to the outside) with an area wider than the width of the fastener to allow for the insertion of the fastener's catch. Consequently, the aforementioned fastener bracket has the problem of generating noise due to the wide open area and the bracket's rigidity being reduced. Furthermore, when a fastener is assembled to the aforementioned fastener bracket, the wide open area causes movement of the fastener, resulting in noise. Prior art literature

[0007] (Patent Document 0001) KR 10-1987877 B1 (Registered June 4, 2019) The problem to be solved

[0008] The problem that the present disclosure aims to solve is to provide a fastener assembly capable of minimizing the movement of the assembled fastener. Additionally, it is to provide a fastener assembly capable of minimizing noise generated by the movement of the fastener. means of solving the problem

[0009] A fastener assembly according to an embodiment includes an opening bracket and a fastener. The opening bracket according to an embodiment includes a hole formed vertically through with a predetermined length and width, and at least one pair of inclined locking projections formed protruding parallel to each other in the length direction of the hole near the width direction of the hole on the lower surface, such that each protrudes more as it gets closer to each other. The fastener according to an embodiment includes a first body comprising a plate having a predetermined length and width and a first column coupled to the upper surface of the plate; an elastic piece comprising an elastic rib symmetrically provided on the first column and a fastening projection extending upward from each of the elastic ribs; a pair of inclined plates provided inclined upward on the upper surface of the plate; a second body comprising a second column provided on the lower surface of the plate and a beam provided at the bottom of the second column having an area corresponding to the hole of the opening bracket; and a wedge formed protruding upward from the end of the beam.

[0010] In addition, the plate of the fastener according to the embodiment may further include a pressure projection formed protruding from the lower surface.

[0011] In addition, the fastener according to the embodiment may further include a support rib symmetrically provided on the first column in a direction orthogonal to the direction in which the elastic piece is provided.

[0012] In addition, a pair of inclined plates of the fastener according to the embodiment are provided symmetrically, and are characterized in that each end is inclined in a direction away from each other.

[0013] In addition, the plate of the fastener according to the embodiment may have an incision formed directly below a pair of inclined plates. Effects of the invention

[0014] The fastener according to the embodiment is inserted into a hole of a mounting bracket and is supported by the fastening projection of an elastic piece, a support rib, and the end of an inclined plate. As a result, movement of the fastener according to the embodiment is prevented after it is assembled to the mounting bracket.

[0015] In addition, the fastener according to the embodiment is inserted into a hole of the opening bracket and supported by a pressure projection and a wedge of the plate. Specifically, the mounting bracket presses the end of the inclined plate toward the opening bracket, thereby the pressure projection of the plate presses the opening bracket, and the fastener according to the embodiment is rotated so that the wedge is positioned between a pair of locking projections of the opening bracket, thereby fixing the position of the fastener according to the embodiment. As a result, movement and rotation of the fastener according to the embodiment are prevented after it is assembled to the opening bracket.

[0016] That is, the fastener according to the embodiment has the effect of reducing noise generation by preventing movement after being assembled to the mounting bracket and the opening bracket.

[0017] In addition, the opening bracket to which the fastener according to the embodiment is coupled may have a hole into which the fastener according to the embodiment is inserted formed to be smaller than conventional ones. As a result, movement of the fastener according to the embodiment is prevented, thereby reducing noise generation and providing the effect of high rigidity of the opening bracket to which the fastener according to the embodiment is assembled. These embodiments are provided merely to make the present disclosure complete and to fully inform those skilled in the art of the scope of the invention, and the present disclosure is defined only by the scope of the claims. Throughout the specification, like reference numerals refer to like components.

[0022] A fastener assembly according to an embodiment is described in detail. The fastener assembly according to an embodiment includes a fastener (100) and an opening bracket (300), and a mounting bracket (200) and an opening bracket (300) are joined via the fastener (100). A fastener (100) [hereinafter referred to as 'fastener (100)'] according to an embodiment is described in detail below with reference to the attached drawings. Each direction in this specification is based on FIG. 1. Arrow 1 indicates the upward direction, Arrow 2 indicates the downward direction, Arrow 3 indicates the length direction and is the same as the length direction of the plate (111) to be described later, and Arrow 4 indicates the width direction and is the same as the width direction of the plate (111).

[0023] Referring to FIG. 1, which shows how the fastener (100) is used, the fastener (100) is used to assemble the mounting bracket (200) to the opening bracket (300). Specifically, referring to FIG. 5 (a), which shows the sequence of joining the fastener (100), a hole (210) for inserting the fastener (100) is formed in the mounting bracket (200), and a hole (310) for inserting the fastener (100) is formed in the opening bracket (300). At this time, the hole (310) of the opening bracket (300) has a predetermined length and width.

[0024] Additionally, referring to FIG. 5 (b), at least one pair of locking projections (320) may be formed protruding from the lower surface of the opening bracket (300) near the width direction of the hole (310). As an example, the pair of locking projections (320) formed protruding from the lower surface of the opening bracket (300) may be formed protruding parallel to each other and spaced apart in the length direction of the hole (310) near the width direction of the hole (310) of the opening bracket (300), and each of the pair of locking projections (320) may be formed at an angle so that they protrude more as they get closer to each other. In this specification, the description will be based on the case where a pair of locking projections (320) are formed on each side near the width direction of the hole (310) of the opening bracket (300), so that a total of two pairs of locking projections (320) are formed.

[0025] Referring again to FIG. 1, the mounting bracket (200) is assembled to the opening bracket (300) by joining the fastener (100) coupled to the hole (210) of the mounting bracket (200) to the hole (310) of the opening bracket (300).

[0027] Referring to FIG. 2, which is a perspective view of the fastener (100), FIG. 3, which is a front view of the fastener (100), and FIG. 4, which is a side view of the fastener (100), the fastener (100) includes a first body (110), an elastic piece (120), an inclined plate (130), a second body (140), and a wedge (150).

[0028] The first body (110) includes a plate (111) and a first column (112), and the plate (111) and the first column (112) can be injection molded as a single unit.

[0029] The plate (111) is a plate shape having a predetermined length and width. As an example, the plate (111) may have a rectangular plate shape.

[0030] The first column (112) is column-shaped and is provided on the upper surface of the plate (111).

[0031] As an example, the first column (112) may be provided vertically at the center of the upper surface of the plate (111) and may have the shape of a square column with an open top and a hollow interior. By forming the interior of the first column (112) into a hollow shape, the manufacturing cost of the fastener (100) can be reduced.

[0032] The elastic piece (120) includes an elastic rib (121) and a fastening projection (122), and the elastic rib (121) and the fastening projection (122) can be injection molded as a single unit.

[0033] A pair of elastic ribs (121) may be symmetrically provided on the first column (112) and configured to have elasticity. As an example, the elastic ribs (121) may be symmetrically provided on the first column (112) along the length of the plate (111).

[0034] The fastening projection (122) is formed by extending upward from each elastic rib (121) to the plate (111).

[0035] The end of the fastening projection (122) is formed to be fastened in a snap-fit manner to the hole (210) of the mounting bracket (200), and can be configured to move toward the first column (112) by means of the elastic rib (121) and then return to its original position.

[0036] A pair of inclined plates (130) may be provided and formed to be inclined upward on the upper surface of the plate (111). Additionally, the inclined plates (130) may be injection molded integrally with the plate (111) and may have elasticity so that the ends of the inclined plates (130) move toward the plate (111).

[0037] As an example, a pair of inclined plates (130) may be provided symmetrically, and each end may be formed to be inclined in a direction away from each other. Additionally, the ends of the inclined plates (130) may have elasticity so that they move toward the plate (111).

[0038] The second body (140) is provided on the lower surface of the plate (111) and can be injection molded integrally with the plate (111). The second body (140) includes a second column (141) and a beam (142).

[0039] The second column (141) is in the shape of a column and is provided on the lower surface of the plate (111). Additionally, the second column (141) may be positioned in a straight line with the first column (112) with the plate (111) in between.

[0040] The beam (142) may be vertically provided at the bottom of the second column (141). Additionally, the beam (142) has an area corresponding to the hole (310) of the opening bracket (300).

[0041] The wedge (150) is formed to protrude upward from the end of the beam (142). As an example, the wedge (150) may be formed to protrude upward from the end of the beam (142) in a mountain shape. Additionally, the wedge (150) may be formed to protrude from each of the ends of the beam (142).

[0043] Additionally, a pressure projection (111a) and an incision (111b) may be formed on the plate (111).

[0044] The pressure projection (111a) is formed protruding from the lower surface of the plate (111). As an example, the pressure projection (111a) may be formed protruding long in the width direction, in a direction perpendicular to the direction in which the elastic piece (120) is provided.

[0045] The cut portion (111b) may be formed at a position facing the inclined plate (130). As an example, the cut portion (111b) may be formed from the part where the inclined plate (130) begins to extend from the plate (111) to a position facing the end of the inclined plate (130). The elastic movement of the inclined plate (130) is facilitated by the cut portion (111b), and the manufacturing cost of the fastener (100) may be reduced.

[0047] Additionally, the fastener (100) may further include a support rib (160).

[0048] The support rib (160) is provided symmetrically to the first column (112) in the width direction, in a direction perpendicular to the direction in which the elastic piece (120) is provided.

[0050] Referring to FIG. 5, which shows the sequence of joining the fasteners (100), a method of joining the fasteners (100) is explained.

[0051] First, referring to FIG. 5 (a), the mounting bracket (200), fastener (100), and opening bracket (300) are positioned in that order, and the hole (310) of the opening bracket (300), the fastener (100), and the hole (210) of the mounting bracket (200) are arranged in a straight line. At this time, as shown in FIG. 5 (b), the beam (142) of the fastener (100) is aligned with the hole (310) of the opening bracket (300) so that the fastener (100) can pass through the opening bracket (300).

[0052] Referring to FIG. 6 (a), a fastener (100) is inserted into a hole (210) of a mounting bracket (200) and is fixed to the hole (210) of the mounting bracket (200) by an elastic piece (120). At this time, the fastener (100) is fastened to the hole (210) of the mounting bracket (200) by a fastening projection (122) of the elastic piece (120), and movement in the hole (210) of the mounting bracket (200) is prevented by the fastening projection (122) and a support rib (160).

[0053] Afterwards, the opening bracket (300) is assembled to the fastener (100). At this time, as shown in FIG. 6 (b) and FIG. 6 (c), the opening bracket (300) is positioned between the plate (111) and the beam (142) and is in contact with the pressure projection (111a).

[0054] Referring to FIG. 7 (a), the fastener (100) is rotated 90 degrees while pressing the mounting bracket (200) in FIG. 6 toward the opening bracket (300). As the fastener (100) rotates, the mounting bracket (200) also rotates together, and the beam (142) of the fastener (100) becomes perpendicular to the hole (310) of the opening bracket (300), so that the fastener (100) is caught on the opening bracket (300), and the wedge (150) is positioned between a pair of locking projections (320). At this time, as shown in FIG. 7 (c), the end of the inclined plate (130) is pressed by the mounting bracket (200), and since the plate (111) is formed integrally with the inclined plate (130), the pressing projection (111a) of the plate (111) is also pressed toward the opening bracket (300).

[0055] That is, the fastener (100) is prevented from moving in the opening bracket (300) by the pressure projection (111a) and the wedge (150), and is prevented from rotating in the opening bracket (300) by the wedge (150) and the locking projection (320). In addition, it is prevented from moving in the mounting bracket (200) by the end of the inclined plate (130).

[0057] Finally, the method for removing the opening bracket (300) is briefly explained.

[0058] The worker can remove the opening bracket (300) from the fastener (100) by proceeding with the assembly order of the fastener (100) in reverse order. The fastener (100) is rotated 90 degrees while pressing the mounting bracket (200) toward the opening bracket (300). At this time, as the mounting bracket (200) is pressed, the wedge (150) moves away from the lower surface of the opening bracket (300), and the connection between the pressure protrusions (111a) is weakened, making it possible to rotate the fastener (100). As a result, the fastener (100) can be easily rotated.
