Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a bobbin for winding an electrode. More specifically, it relates to an electrode winding bobbin having an electrode connecting sheet embedded therein that is connected to an electrode.
[0002] The present invention also relates to a method for connecting an electrode and an electrode connecting sheet using a bobbin containing the electrode connecting sheet, and a method for winding an electrode. Background Technology
[0004] Unwinders and rewinders are used when transporting electrodes in a roll-to-roll state for the manufacture of secondary batteries. Electrode rolls are chucked and coupled to these unwinders and rewinders, and the electrodes travel in a roll-to-roll state between the unwinders and rewinders while undergoing a predetermined process.
[0005] The electrode roll chucked to the aforementioned unwinder and rewinder has a structure in which the electrode is wound onto a bobbin. When winding the electrode onto a bobbin, if the electrode is wound directly onto the bobbin, the wound portion of the electrode becomes unusable and results in loss. Therefore, instead of directly connecting the electrode to the bobbin, a method is used in which an electrode connection sheet, such as PET, is first wound onto the bobbin, and then the end of the wound electrode connection sheet is connected to the electrode.
[0006] However, this method has the following problems.
[0007] First, since the electrode connection sheet had to be attached to the bobbin and wound every time the bobbin was replaced, there was a problem that the process and working time of the bobbin replacement work increased.
[0008] Second, when winding the electrode connection sheet onto a bobbin, if the sheet is not pulled taut, wrinkles will form, and these wrinkle marks will be reflected on the electrode, resulting in electrode defects. Since this process depends on the operator's skill level, there is a problem in that the winding time and electrode quality vary depending on the operator.
[0009] Third, since the electrode connecting sheet had to be wound around the bobbin several times and then connected to the electrode so that no adhesive tape marks would remain when attaching the electrode connecting sheet to the bobbin, the electrode connecting sheet was inevitably wasted.
[0011] Therefore, it is desirable to develop a technology that simplifies bobbin replacement work, allows connecting the electrode connecting sheet and the electrode so as not to depend on the operator's skill level, and minimizes the use of the electrode connecting sheet. Prior art literature
[0013] Republic of Korea Published Patent Application No. 10-2020-0136198 The problem to be solved
[0014] The present invention has been devised to solve the above-mentioned problems and aims to provide a bobbin in which an electrode connecting sheet is mounted inside the bobbin and the electrode connecting sheet is drawn out to the outside of the bobbin to be connected to an electrode.
[0015] In addition, another objective of the present invention is to provide a connection method that allows an electrode and an electrode connection sheet to be easily connected using a bobbin containing the electrode connection sheet.
[0016] In addition, another objective of the present invention is to provide an electrode winding method that allows an electrode to be easily wound onto a bobbin using a bobbin containing the electrode connecting sheet. means of solving the problem
[0018] The electrode connection sheet embedded bobbin of the present invention for solving the above problem comprises: a bobbin case formed as a hollow cylinder and having one or both sides open; an electrode connection sheet roll installed within the bobbin case; and a cover coupled to the one or both sides open of the bobbin case, and is characterized by having a discharge slit formed extending along the longitudinal direction of the bobbin case and through which an electrode connection sheet derived from the electrode connection sheet roll is discharged.
[0019] As an example, the discharge slit is formed to extend parallel to the longitudinal direction of the bobbin case, and the electrode connecting sheet can be discharged from the discharge slit in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the bobbin case.
[0020] Specifically, the edge portion of the bobbin case forming the discharge slit can be formed as a round portion.
[0021] In addition, as an example, a fixing hole into which a fastener is inserted may be formed in the cover.
[0022] As an example, the electrode connecting sheet roll may further include a roll hanger that supports the electrode connecting sheet roll, which is composed of a hollow core and an electrode connecting sheet portion wound on the core, and is fixedly installed on the bobbin case by passing through the hollow portion of the core.
[0023] Specifically, a stopper that restricts the longitudinal movement of the electrode connection sheet roll may be formed protrudingly on the outer surface of the roll hanger rod.
[0024] As another example, the roll hanger may include a rotation regulating mechanism that is coupled to or uncoupled from the inner surface of the hollow portion of the coil core to regulate the rotation of the electrode connecting sheet roll.
[0025] As an example, the rotation regulating mechanism may be an air chuck mechanism that engages and disengages with the inner surface of the hollow portion of the coil core by the suction and discharge of air.
[0026] As a specific example, an air channel for introducing air into the air chuck mechanism may be formed in at least one of the bobbin case and cover.
[0027] As a specific example, the roll hanger is fixedly installed along the longitudinal direction of the bobbin case within the hollow portion of the winding core and is formed as a hollow shaft portion having a plurality of through slits formed along the outer circumference, and the rotation regulating mechanism includes an airbag that is concentrically arranged within the roll hanger of the hollow shaft portion and expands and contracts by the suction and discharge of air; and a plurality of key portions installed along the outer circumference of the airbag and capable of moving in and out through the through slits of the hollow shaft portion according to the expansion and contraction of the airbag, and the rotation of the electrode connecting sheet roll can be regulated by the key portion protruding through the through slits and the upper surface of the key portion pressurizing and supporting the inner circumference of the winding core of the electrode connecting sheet roll.
[0028] As an example, a coupling disc having a diameter corresponding to the inner circumference of the bobbin case may be coupled to both ends of the hollow shaft portion of the roll hanger rod.
[0029] As a specific example, the cover is coupled to the coupling disk and bobbin case, so that the air chuck mechanism can be fixedly coupled to the bobbin case and the cover.
[0030] The above electrode connection sheet may be a sheet made of PET material.
[0031] As another aspect of the present invention, a method for connecting an electrode and an electrode connecting sheet is,
[0032] A method for connecting an electrode and an electrode connecting sheet using an electrode connecting sheet embedded bobbin in which an electrode connecting sheet roll is installed to rotate and restrict rotation within a hollow cylindrical bobbin case in which a discharge slit is formed along the longitudinal direction, comprising: a step of drawing an electrode connecting sheet from the electrode connecting sheet roll and drawing out the electrode connecting sheet of a predetermined length from the discharge slit of the bobbin case; and a step of bonding and connecting the end of the drawn-out electrode connecting sheet and the end of the electrode while restricting the rotation of the electrode connecting sheet roll.
[0033] An electrode winding method as another aspect of the present invention is,
[0034] A method for winding an electrode using an electrode connecting sheet embedded bobbin, wherein an electrode connecting sheet roll is installed to rotate and restrict rotation within a hollow cylindrical bobbin case in which a discharge slit is formed along the longitudinal direction, comprising: a step of drawing an electrode connecting sheet from the electrode connecting sheet roll and drawing out the electrode connecting sheet of a predetermined length from the discharge slit of the bobbin case; a step of bonding and connecting the end of the drawn-out electrode connecting sheet and the end of the electrode while restricting the rotation of the electrode connecting sheet roll; and a step of winding the electrode connecting sheet and the electrode by rotating the bobbin while restricting the rotation of the electrode connecting sheet roll. Effects of the invention
[0036] The present invention has a structure in which an electrode connection sheet roll is embedded inside a bobbin. Therefore, according to the present invention, since there is no need to connect the electrode connection sheet to the bobbin every time the bobbin is replaced, the bobbin replacement process and working time can be significantly reduced.
[0037] In addition, the electrode connection sheet can be drawn out perpendicular to the length of the bobbin to prevent wrinkling and connected to the electrode. Therefore, since electrodes can be connected regardless of the operator's skill level, the workability and quality of the electrode connection process can be improved.
[0038] In addition, the electrode connection sheet can be drawn out to the minimum length required for electrode connection and connected to the electrode without the need to wind it multiple times on a bobbin. Therefore, the problem of wasting connection sheets can be solved by minimizing the use of the electrode connection sheet. Brief explanation of the drawing

[0044] Embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings.
[0046] (First embodiment)
[0047] FIGS. 1 and FIGS. 2 are a perspective view and a side cross-sectional view of a bobbin (100) with an electrode connection sheet built into it according to the first embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 3 is a partial cutaway perspective view showing the operating state of a bobbin (100) with an electrode connection sheet built into it according to the first embodiment of the present invention.
[0048] The electrode connection sheet embedded bobbin (100) of the first embodiment of the present invention comprises: a bobbin case (110) formed as a hollow cylinder and having one side or both sides open; an electrode connection sheet roll (120) installed within the bobbin case (110); and a cover (130) coupled to the open one side (111) or both sides of the bobbin case (110), and has a discharge slit formed extending along the longitudinal direction of the bobbin case (110) through which an electrode connection sheet (123) derived from the electrode connection sheet roll (120) is discharged.
[0049] In the present invention, the bobbin is configured to have an electrode connection sheet built-in by pre-installing an electrode connection sheet roll (120) within the empty space of the bobbin so that, unlike in the past, the operator does not need to perform the task of attaching and winding the electrode connection sheet (123) to the bobbin one by one when replacing the bobbin. In addition, the bobbin case (110) is configured as a hollow cylinder with one side or both sides open so that the electrode connection sheet roll (120) can be installed. In FIGS. 1 to 3, the bobbin case (110) is formed as a hollow cylinder with one side (111) open. However, as in the second embodiment described later, the bobbin case (110) may also be configured with both sides open. Here, one side or both sides refer to the upper side / lower side or upper and lower side of the outer circumference of the hollow cylinder bobbin case. The above bobbin (100) can be applied to any detailed process of the electrode manufacturing process as long as it has a structure for winding electrodes. The electrodes wound on the bobbin (100) include not only electrodes coated with active material but also electrode sheets (current collector sheets) without active material coating.
[0050] Additionally, the bobbin (100) of the present invention includes an electrode connection sheet roll (120) installed within the bobbin case (110) through an open side (111) of the bobbin case (110). The electrode connection sheet (123) refers to a sheet such as PET that is connected to an electrode, and by winding the electrode connection sheet (123), the electrode connected thereto can be wound onto the bobbin (100). PET is given as an example, and other materials such as synthetic resin that can be connected to an electrode may be used.
[0051] The bobbin (100) of the present invention includes a cover (130) that is coupled to one side (111) or both sides of the bobbin case (110). In this embodiment, only one side (111) of the bobbin case (110) is open, and the cover (130) is coupled to this one side (111).
[0052] The bobbin case (110) is provided with a discharge slit (113) that extends along its length. Specifically, the discharge slit (113) extends along the length of the bobbin case (110) in a direction parallel to its length. Accordingly, when the electrode connecting sheet (123) is unwound from the electrode connecting sheet roll (120) and the electrode connecting sheet (123) is drawn out through the discharge slit (113), the electrode connecting sheet (123) can be discharged from the discharge slit (113) in a direction perpendicular to the length of the bobbin case (110).
[0053] In the partial cutaway view of FIG. 3, the electrode connecting sheet (123) of the electrode connecting sheet roll (120) is clearly shown being drawn out to the outside of the bobbin through the discharge slit (113). As such, the present invention allows the electrode connecting sheet roll (120) to be installed in advance inside the bobbin, and whenever a connection with an electrode is required, the electrode connecting sheet (123) can be drawn out in a predetermined length through the discharge slit (113) to connect with the electrode. Accordingly, the cumbersome process of attaching and winding the electrode connecting sheet (123) to the bobbin every time the bobbin is replaced, as in the conventional method, is eliminated. Furthermore, the electrode connecting sheet (123) can be drawn out in a direction perpendicular to the bobbin (case) through the discharge slit (113) which is extended parallel to the longitudinal direction of the bobbin case (110) to connect with the electrode. Accordingly, when connecting the electrode and the electrode connecting sheet (123), the straightness of the sheet relative to the electrode is ensured and the sheet is pulled taut and connected, thereby preventing wrinkle marks from forming on the sheet depending on the skill level of the worker. Furthermore, in the present invention, since the electrode connecting sheet (123) is not structured to be wound onto a bobbin by adhesive tape, there is no need to wind the electrode connecting sheet (123) onto the bobbin multiple times, thus preventing waste of the electrode connecting sheet (123).
[0054] The length of the discharge slit (113) can be formed to correspond to the width of the electrode connecting sheet (123). For example, the length of the discharge slit (113) can be formed to be slightly longer than the width of the sheet by adding an extra width to the width of the electrode connecting sheet (123) so that the electrode connecting sheet (123) can be easily discharged through the discharge slit (113). In addition, the width of the discharge slit (113) can also be formed to correspond to or slightly larger than the thickness of the electrode connecting sheet (123). In order to prevent the sheet from being damaged or the electrode (active material) on the sheet from being pressed when the electrode connecting sheet (123) moves through the discharge slit (113), it is preferable to form the edge portions (113a, 113b) of the bobbin case (110) forming the discharge slit (113) as round portions, as shown in the enlarged view of the main part of FIG. 3. For example, both the inner and outer edge portions (113b, 113b) of the bobbin case (110) may be formed as round portions, or only the inner edge portion (113b) of the bobbin case (110) on the side from which the electrode connecting sheet (123) is drawn may be formed as a round portion. In terms of protecting the electrode connecting sheet, the former round shape may be more preferable. The width of the discharge slit (113) may be, for example, 1 mm. The length of the electrode connecting sheet (123) wound on the electrode connecting sheet roll (120) may vary depending on the size of the bobbin, and for example, a sheet with a length of 500 m may be wound on the electrode connecting sheet roll (120).
[0055] In order to increase the fastening strength between the bobbin case (110) and the cover (130), a fixing hole (131) into which a fastening member (B) is inserted may be formed in the cover (130). That is, a fastening member (B), such as a bolt, is inserted into the fixing hole (131) of FIG. 1, and the fastening member (B) is tightened using a fastening tool such as a wrench to firmly fasten the cover (130) to the bobbin case (110). A chucking mechanism coupling part (132) is formed on the outer surface of the cover (130). In addition, a chucking mechanism coupling part (not shown) having the same shape as the chucking mechanism coupling part (132) formed on the cover (130) is also formed on the outer surface of the other closed side (112) of the bobbin case (110). The above chucking mechanism coupling parts are coupled to a chucking mechanism (not shown) installed in an unwinder or rewinder, so that the bobbin (100) can rotate together with the chucking mechanism when the chucking mechanism rotates.
[0056] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 3, the electrode connecting sheet roll (120) is shown to be composed of a hollow core (121) and an electrode connecting sheet portion (122) wound on the core (121). In this embodiment, a roll hanging rod (140) is further provided to support the electrode connecting sheet roll (120) by passing through the hollow portion of the core (121) and being fixedly installed on the bobbin case (110). One end of the roll hanging rod (140) is fitted and connected to the inner surface of a cover (130) that is connected to the open side (111) of the bobbin case (110) as shown in FIG. 2, and the other end is fitted and connected to the closed inner surface of the bobbin case (110). To this end, the inner surface of the cover (130) and the sealed inner surface of the bobbin case (110) may be provided with coupling grooves (133, 112a) into which both ends of the roll hanging rod (140) are fitted. Alternatively, the roll hanging rod (140) may be formed integrally with the sealed inner surface of the bobbin case (110). In this case, the bobbin can be assembled by fitting the electrode connecting sheet roll (120) onto the roll hanging rod (140), fitting the cover (130) onto the open side surface (111) of the bobbin case (110), and simultaneously fitting the end of the roll hanging rod (140) into the coupling groove (133) on the inner surface of the cover (130).
[0057] In this embodiment, only one side (111) of the bobbin case (110) is open, and a cover (130) is attached to the open side (111). However, a structure in which both sides of the bobbin case are open and a cover is attached to each of the open sides is also possible, and in this case, the roll hanging rod (140) can be fixedly attached to the inner surface of the cover attached to each of the two sides.
[0058] As described above, the roll hanger (140) is fixedly installed on the bobbin case (110), so that the electrode connecting sheet roll (120) is supported by the roll hanger (140) installed within the hollow portion of the winding core (121). That is, the electrode connecting sheet roll (120) can rotate on the roll hanger (140), and accordingly, the electrode connecting sheet (123) can be unwound from the electrode connecting sheet roll (120) and discharged through the discharge slit (113).
[0059] Meanwhile, in order to prevent the electrode connecting sheet roll (120) seated on the roll hanging rod (140) from moving in the longitudinal direction, a stopper (141, 142) may be formed protrudingly on the outer surface of the roll hanging rod (140). As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, a stopper (141, 142) of a predetermined height is formed protrudingly on the outer surface of the roll hanging rod (140) at a position slightly outside the length corresponding to the length of the electrode connecting sheet roll (120). Since the electrode connecting sheet roll (120) is restricted from moving in the longitudinal direction by the stopper (141, 142), the electrode connecting sheet (123) can be stably withdrawn from the discharge slit (113). Specifically, the stoppers (141, 142) are formed at longitudinal positions of the roll hanger (140) adjacent to the outer side of the roll and also adjacent to both longitudinal ends of the discharge slit (113) of the bobbin case (110). The stoppers (141, 142) may each be formed on both sides of the roll hanger (140) corresponding to both ends of the electrode connection sheet roll (120). Additionally, the heights of the stoppers (141, 142) may be different as shown in FIG. 2. For example, the height of the stopper (141) on the side where the electrode connection sheet roll (120) is inserted into the bobbin case (110) may be lower, and the height of the stopper (142) on the opposite side may be higher. Accordingly, the core (121) of the electrode connecting sheet roll (120) passes over the low-height stopper (141) and is seated on the roll hanging rod (140), and the electrode connecting sheet roll (120) is restricted from moving further in the longitudinal direction by the low-height stopper (142) on the opposite side. In order for the electrode connecting sheet roll (120) to the core (121) to easily pass over the stopper (141), the upper surface of the stopper (141) on the low-height side may be formed as a curved surface or include an inclined surface.Alternatively, the above-mentioned stopper (141), which has a low height, can be immersed into the inside of the roll hanger rod (140), and the structure can be formed such that the stopper (141) protrudes again after the electrode connection sheet roll (120) is seated at a set position on the roll hanger rod (140). In this case, the roll hanger rod (140) may be equipped with a predetermined immersion groove (not shown) and an elastic member (not shown), such as a spring, which is installed within the immersion groove and coupled to the bottom of the stopper (141) to protrude the stopper out of the immersion groove.
[0061] (Second embodiment)
[0062] FIG. 4 is a perspective view of a bobbin (200) with an electrode connection sheet built-in according to a second embodiment of the present invention, and
[0063] FIG. 5 is a side cross-sectional view of a bobbin (200) with an electrode connection sheet built-in according to the second embodiment of the present invention, showing the operating state of a rotation regulating mechanism. FIG. 6 is a longitudinal cross-sectional view of a bobbin (200) with an electrode connection sheet built-in according to the second embodiment of the present invention, showing the operating state of a rotation regulating mechanism.
[0064] This embodiment is a form that includes a rotation regulating mechanism in which the roll hanger rod (240) is coupled to or uncoupled from the inner surface of the hollow portion (221) of the electrode connecting sheet roll (220) to regulate the rotation of the electrode connecting sheet roll (220). In addition, in this embodiment, both sides (211, 212) of the bobbin case (210) are open, and covers (230, 230') are respectively coupled to these two sides. In the covers (230, 230') of the two sides (211, 212), fixing holes (231, 231') for inserting a fastener (B) are formed in the same way as in the first embodiment, so that each cover (230, 230') can be firmly coupled to the bobbin case (210) using the fastener (B). In addition, a chucking mechanism coupling part (232) is formed on the outer surface of each cover (230, 230') so that the chucking mechanism and the bobbin can be coupled.
[0065] This embodiment is characterized by the fact that the roll hanging rod (240) is equipped with a rotation regulating mechanism. For example, the rotation regulating mechanism may be an air chuck mechanism that engages and disengages with the inner surface of the hollow portion of the core (221) of the electrode connecting sheet roll (220) by the suction and discharge of air. In order to prevent the electrode connecting sheet roll (220) from moving in the longitudinal direction, a stopper (241, 242) is formed protrudingly on the outer surface of the roll hanging rod (240) of this embodiment.
[0066] FIGS. 5 and 6 illustrate the specific operating state of the air chuck mechanism. Since air introduction into the bobbin case (210) is required for the operation of the air chuck mechanism, an air channel (C) for introducing air is formed in the bobbin case (210), the cover (230, 230'), the bobbin case (210), and the bobbin. FIG. 5 illustrates an example in which an air channel (C) is formed in the cover (230, 230'). However, if necessary, an air channel (C) or an air hole may also be formed in the bobbin case (210). Additionally, it is possible to form air channels in both the bobbin case (210) and the cover (230, 230'). Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 5, an air channel may be formed only in one side cover (230'), or air channels may be formed in both sides of the cover. In short, for efficient operation of the air chuck mechanism, if air can be easily introduced into the bobbin, an air channel (C) can be formed in at least one of the bobbin case (210) and the cover (230, 230').
[0067] The above air chuck mechanism, also known as an expansion sleeve, comprises an airbag (243) that expands and contracts by air suction and discharge, and a key (244) coupled to the airbag (243) and capable of moving in and out in the radial direction of the roll hanger rod (240) by the expansion and contraction of the airbag (243). Additionally, although not illustrated, the air chuck mechanism is equipped with an air pump (not illustrated) that sucks air into the air chuck mechanism through the air channel (C). The air pump may be embedded in the roll hanger rod (240) or installed within the airbag (243).
[0068] In order to provide a space for the above key (244) to emerge, the roll hanger rod (240) of the present embodiment is fixedly installed along the longitudinal direction of the bobbin case (210) within the hollow portion of the winding core (221) of the electrode connecting sheet roll (220), and is formed as a hollow shaft portion having a plurality of through slits (240S) formed along its outer circumference.
[0069] The airbag (243) and key (244) of the above rotation control mechanism are installed within the hollow shaft. That is, the airbag (243) is arranged concentrically within the roll hanger rod (240) of the hollow shaft. Additionally, multiple key (244) are installed along the outer circumference of the airbag (243) and are arranged to protrude and retract through the through slit (240S) of the hollow shaft according to the expansion and contraction of the airbag (243).
[0070] FIGS. 5(a) and FIGS. 6(a) show the state before operation of the air chuck mechanism, and FIGS. 5(b) and FIGS. 6(b) show the state after operation of the air chuck mechanism. Referring to FIGS. 5(a) and FIGS. 6(a), before the air pump is operated, the airbag (243) is not inflated within the hollow shaft portion of the roll hanger rod (240), and the key portion (244) installed along the outer circumference of the airbag (243) is also immersed into the hollow shaft portion.
[0071] When the air pump operates and air is sucked in through the air channel, the airbag (243) expands in the diameter direction of the hollow shaft portion of the roll hanger rod (240), and accordingly, a plurality of key portions (244) coupled to the airbag (243) also protrude outside the hollow shaft portion through the through slit (240S) formed in the hollow shaft portion of the roll hanger rod (240). Finally, as shown in FIGS. 5(b) and FIGS. 6(b), when the key portions (244) are in close contact with the inner surface of the electrode connecting sheet roll (220) outside the hollow shaft portion and pressurize and support the inner surface, the rotation of the electrode connecting sheet roll (220) is restricted. That is, the electrode connecting sheet roll (220) is coupled to the key (244), and since the key (244) is coupled to a fixedly installed roll hanger (240), the rotation of the electrode connecting sheet roll (220) is restricted. In this state, the electrode connecting sheet (223) is no longer released from the roll (220). Therefore, as described below, the electrode connecting sheet roll (220) and the electrode connecting sheet (223) can be bonded to the end of the electrode (300) while the electrode connecting sheet roll (223) and the electrode connecting sheet (223) are in a stationary state, making it easier to perform the connection work.
[0072] Meanwhile, in this embodiment, a coupling disc (245) having a diameter corresponding to the inner circumference of the bobbin case (210) is coupled to both ends of the hollow shaft portion of the roll hanger rod (240). As shown in FIG. 5, if a coupling disc (245) having the same diameter as the inner circumference of the bobbin case (210) is coupled to both ends of the hollow shaft portion, the coupling disc (245) can be coupled to the inner circumference of the bobbin case (210) in a tight fit. Alternatively, the diameter of the coupling disc (245) can be formed slightly larger than the inner circumference of the bobbin case (210) so that the coupling disc (245) can be coupled to the inner circumference of the bobbin case (210) in a press fit manner, thereby allowing the roll hanger rod (240) to be coupled to the bobbin case (210) more easily and firmly. Additionally, when the cover (230, 230') is joined from the open sides of the bobbin case (210), the cover (230, 230') is joined to the joining disk (245) and the bobbin case (210), thereby allowing the air chuck mechanism to be more securely fixedly joined to the bobbin case (210) and the cover (230, 230').
[0074] FIG. 7 is a perspective view showing the connection of an electrode (300) and an electrode connection sheet (223) using the electrode connection sheet built-in bobbin (200) of the present invention.
[0075] Referring to FIG. 7, a method of connecting the electrode (300) and the electrode connecting sheet (223) of the present invention is described. FIG. 7 is a drawing showing the connection of the electrode (300) using a bobbin equipped with a rotation regulating mechanism of the second embodiment.
[0076] As illustrated in FIG. 7, the bobbin (200) comprises a hollow cylindrical bobbin case (210) in which a discharge slit (213) is formed along the longitudinal direction, and an electrode connection sheet embedded bobbin (200) in which an electrode connection sheet roll (220) is installed within the bobbin case (210) to allow rotation and rotation restriction. That is, the rotation restriction mechanism described above is installed inside the bobbin (200), so that the rotation of the electrode connection sheet roll (220) can be restricted by the introduction and discharge of air.
[0077] First, in a normal state where the rotation of the electrode connecting sheet roll (220) is not restricted, the electrode connecting sheet (223) is drawn out from the electrode connecting sheet roll (220), and the electrode connecting sheet (223) of a predetermined length is drawn out from the discharge slit (213) of the bobbin case (210).
[0078] With the electrode connecting sheet (223) drawn out to a predetermined length, e.g. 3 m, air is introduced into a rotation regulating mechanism, such as an air chuck mechanism, to regulate the rotation of the electrode connecting sheet roll (220). In this state, the electrode connecting sheet (223) is no longer released, so the end of the drawn-out electrode connecting sheet (223) and the end of the electrode are connected by bonding them with adhesive tape or the like.
[0079] As such, in the electrode connecting sheet built-in bobbin (200) of the present invention or the method for connecting an electrode and an electrode connecting sheet using the same, it is sufficient to draw out only a predetermined length of the electrode connecting sheet (223) and connect it to the electrode. That is, since the present invention does not require connecting the bobbin and the electrode connecting sheet (223) with adhesive tape as in the conventional method and winding the electrode connecting sheet (223) onto the bobbin multiple times to remove the adhesive tape marks, the waste of the electrode connecting sheet (223) can be prevented. For example, while the conventional method required more than 8m of PET sheet, the present invention requires a predetermined length of 3m. Therefore, not only can the cost of the PET sheet be reduced, but the takt time for PET connection is also reduced.
[0080] In addition, the present invention can efficiently wind the electrode using the electrode connection sheet-embedded bobbin (200).
[0081] As another aspect of the present invention, the electrode winding method utilizes a hollow cylindrical bobbin case (210) in which a discharge slit (213) is formed along the longitudinal direction, in the same manner as the connection method, and an electrode connection sheet embedded bobbin (200) in which an electrode connection sheet roll (220) is installed within the bobbin case (210) so as to be rotatable and rotatable.
[0082] First, in a normal state where the rotation of the electrode connecting sheet roll (220) is not restricted, the electrode connecting sheet (223) is drawn out from the electrode connecting sheet roll (220), and the electrode connecting sheet (223) of a predetermined length is drawn out from the discharge slit (213) of the bobbin case (210).
[0083] With the electrode connecting sheet (223) drawn out to a predetermined length, e.g., 3 m, air is introduced into a rotation regulating mechanism, such as an air chuck mechanism, to regulate the rotation of the electrode connecting sheet roll (220). In this state, the electrode connecting sheet (223) is no longer unwound, so the end of the drawn-out electrode connecting sheet (223) and the end of the electrode (300) are connected by bonding them with adhesive tape (T), etc. (see FIG. 7).
[0084] Next, the electrode connecting sheet roll (220) is rotated while the rotation of the electrode connecting sheet roll (220) is restricted, thereby winding the electrode connecting sheet (223) and the electrode (300). At this time, as described above, a chucking mechanism is connected to a chucking mechanism coupling part (232) installed on the outer surface of the bobbin case (210) or the outer surface of the cover (230, 230'), and the bobbin can be rotated by rotating the chucking mechanism.
[0085] Even when the bobbin (200) is rotated, the rotation of the electrode connecting sheet roll (220) is regulated by the rotation regulating mechanism. Therefore, when the bobbin is rotated, the electrode connecting sheet roll (220) does not spin freely, and the electrode connecting sheet roll (220) rotates integrally with the bobbin (200). Thus, when the bobbin (200) is rotated, the electrode connecting sheet roll (220) is first wound onto the bobbin, and then the electrode (300) is wound onto the electrode connecting sheet (223), allowing the electrode (300) to be easily wound onto the bobbin. Once the electrode (300) is wound onto the bobbin to a certain extent, even if the operation of the rotation regulating mechanism is stopped (air introduction is stopped), the electrode connecting sheet (223) is pressed against the electrode (300) and does not move.
[0086] Meanwhile, when the electrode roll (220) wound by the above method is completely exhausted, the connection portion between the electrode connecting sheet (223) and the electrode (300) that was initially wound on the bobbin is exposed again. In this case, the connection portion between the electrode (300) and the electrode connecting sheet (223) is cut while the rotation of the electrode connecting sheet roll (220) is restricted. In this state, the bobbin (200) becomes an empty bobbin where no electrode is wound, so the electrode can be wound by connecting a new electrode and the electrode connecting sheet (223) of the electrode connecting sheet roll (220) again. Even in this process, the electrode connecting sheet (223) is drawn out only to a predetermined length, so the electrode can be wound by easily connecting it to the electrode while preventing waste of the sheet.
