[0027] In order to fully understand the present invention, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the attached drawings.

[0028] Embodiments of the present invention may be modified in various forms, and the scope of the present invention should not be interpreted as being limited to the embodiments described in detail below. These embodiments are provided to more fully explain the present invention to those with average knowledge in the art.

[0029] Accordingly, it should be noted that the shapes of components depicted in the drawings may be exaggerated to emphasize clearer explanations, and that identical members may be shown with the same reference numeral in each drawing.

[0030] In addition, detailed descriptions of known functions and configurations that are deemed to unnecessarily obscure the essence of the invention may be omitted.

[0031] A cable exercise device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a column (100) having an operating space (101) formed inside a bin, with the lower part installed vertically on the floor and the upper part having an outlet (102); a tension member (200) installed in the operating space (101) of the column (100) to exert a tensioning force vertically; two lines of dual cables (300) with one end connected to the tension member (200) and the other end pulled out parallel to the outlet (102) of the column (100); and a dual pulley (400) rotatably installed on the upper part of the operating space (101) to guide the pulling out of the other end of the dual cables (300).

[0032] The column (100) forms the framework of the present invention. Referring to FIGS. 1 to 4, the column (100) is formed in the shape of a tube with a hollow interior and a square cross-section, and has an operating space (101) inside the hollow interior.

[0033] The lower end of the column (100) is positioned vertically on the upper surface of a flat base plate (110) placed on the floor and is fixed by a fixing bracket (120). Here, a massage roller (130) may be provided on the upper surface of the base plate (110) so as to be rotatably installed by a roller bracket (131). The massage roller (130) can help blood circulation by rubbing the sole of the foot.

[0034] Optionally, the bottom of the column (100) can be fixed vertically on the floor by a fixing bracket (120) having an anchor bolt that is embedded in the floor.

[0035] A head (103) having an outlet (102) formed at a downward incline is attached to the top of the column (100). A cushioning support (140) made of a cushioning material is attached to the outlet (102) of the head (103) so as to elastically cushion the impact of the handle (330) that is pulled down and then rises.

[0036] Referring to FIGS. 3 and 6, through holes (150) are formed on both sides of the column (100) to penetrate the operating space (101). The through holes (150) may consist of an upper through hole (151) and a lower through hole (152) formed on the upper and lower sides of the column (100). The upper through hole (151) and the lower through hole (152) can be opened and closed by an upper cover plate (160) and a lower cover plate (161) that are detachably coupled to both sides of the column (100). These through holes (150) can reduce the weight of the column (100) and facilitate a worker from inserting their hand to repair or replace the tension member (200).

[0037] The tension member (200) functions to apply tension in the up and down direction for the resistance movement of the cable. Referring to FIGS. 3 to 5, the tension member (200) comprises a tension coil spring (210) that exerts tension force and is vertically positioned in the lower part of the operating space (101) of the column (100); an upper connector (220) that connects the other end of a dual cable (300) by having a semicircular screw thread that is screw-coupled to the upper inner circumference of the tension coil spring (210); a lower connector (230) that has a semicircular screw thread that is screw-coupled to the lower inner circumference of the tension coil spring (210); a rack gear (240) that is vertically connected to the lower connector (230) so as to be vertically movable; a pinion (250) that meshes with the rack gear (240); an adjustment wheel (260) that is connected to rotate the pinion (250) and adjusts the tension force by the extension and contraction of the tension coil spring (210) according to the vertical movement of the rack gear (240); and the adjustment wheel (260). It includes a lifting guide (270) installed at the bottom of the column to guide the lifting of the rack gear (240) by rotation.

[0038] The tension member (200) is positioned vertically at the bottom of the operating space (101) so that it can be repaired and replaced through the lower through hole (152).

[0039] The tension coil spring (210) is made of stainless steel, which has excellent stress and corrosion resistance and does not cause corrosion cracks. The tension coil spring (210) can be replaced with a different specification for tension strength. For example, the tension coil spring (210) can be replaced with a product of a different specification having a tension strength in the range of approximately 50 to 120 kg.

[0040] Referring to FIG. 5, the upper connector (220) is formed in the shape of a flat metal plate with a width similar to the diameter of the tension coil spring (210). Semicircular screw threads are formed at both ends of the upper connector (220) and are screw-coupled to the upper inner circumference of the tension coil spring (210). Two eyes (222) are formed spaced apart on the upper connector (220) so that the lower end of the dual cable (300), which consists of two rows, is connected through a connecting carabiner (310).

[0041] The lower connector (230) is formed in a shape that is vertically symmetrical to the upper connector (220). That is, the lower connector (230) is formed in the shape of a metal plate with a width similar to the diameter of the tension coil spring (210), and semicircular screw threads are formed at both ends so that it is screw-coupled to the lower inner circumference of the tension coil spring (210). In addition, one eye (232) is formed in the lower connector (230) so that the upper ring (241) of the rack gear (240) is fitted and connected.

[0042] As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the rack gear (240) is formed in the shape of a vertically straight rod, the upper end is connected to the lower connector (230) by an upper ring (241), and the lower end is connected to the lifting guide (270) so as to be movable.

[0043] The pinion (250) is installed on the wheel shaft (261) forming the center of the adjustment wheel (260) so as to mesh with the rack gear (240).

[0044] The adjustment wheel (260) is installed on one side of the column (100) and has a wheel shaft (261) installed horizontally and rotatable at the bottom of the operating space (101). The adjustment wheel (260) has a rotary knob (262) to rotate the wheel shaft (261).

[0045] The lifting guide (270) is formed in the shape of a hollow tube and is fixed vertically to the bottom of the column (100). The lifting guide (270) functions to guide the rack gear (240) to move up and down without moving in the forward / backward or left / right directions.

[0046] In short, when the rotary knob (262) is held by hand and the adjustment wheel (260) is turned in one direction, the wheel shaft (261) rotates, and together with this, the pinion (250) rotates to raise or lower the meshed rack gear (240), thereby extending or retracting the length of the tension coil spring (210) and adjusting the tension force to become stronger or weaker.

[0047] The dual cable (300) consists of two vertically parallel lines to help maintain left-right balance when performing resistance exercise by pulling the handle (330). Referring to FIGS. 3 and 4, the dual cable (300) consists of two lines spaced apart at a predetermined interval. The lower end, which is inserted into the operating space (101), is connected to the eye (222) of the upper connector (220) by a connecting carabiner (310), and the upper end, which is pulled out through the outlet (102), is equipped with a cable loop (320) so that the handle (330) is secured through a binding carabiner (331). The cable loop (320) is stopped by a stopper (340) so that it is not drawn into the operating space (101) of the column (100) through the outlet (102).

[0048] In the present invention, the two lines forming the dual cable (300) can be formed of flat belts or wires.

[0049] Referring to FIG. 7, by connecting a plurality of carabiners (350) to the cable loop (320), the position of the handle (330) that is pulled out to the outside of the column (100) through the outlet (102) can be extended or adjusted.

[0050] The dual pulley (400) is rotatably installed on the upper part of the operating space (101) so as to be close to the outlet (102) to guide the extraction of the dual cable (300). Referring to FIGS. 3 and 4, two grooves are formed on the outer circumference of the rim of the dual pulley (400) so that two lines of dual cables (300) are each caught.

[0051] The cable exercise device according to an embodiment of the present invention can perform various exercises to develop muscle strength or for stretching.

[0052] For example, you can perform the so-called 'frog jump' exercise by standing on a base plate (110) with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding the handles (330) with both hands, and sitting down and standing up.

[0053] In addition, you can perform a so-called ‘lunge’ strength exercise or stretching by placing one foot on the base plate (110), extending the other foot backward, holding the handle (330) with both hands, and bending your knees to sit down and stand up.

[0054] Alternatively, you can perform a so-called 'lat pull-down' strength exercise by sitting directly on the base plate (110) or sitting on a chair, holding the handle (330) with both hands, and pulling it upwards toward your chest.

[0055] Accordingly, the present invention has the advantage of being able to perform various resistance exercises using a cable without using expensive weights, as it uses a tension coil spring (210) that exerts tensile force in the opposite direction of pulling the cable when performing the aforementioned strength exercises or stretching.

[0056] In addition, the present invention has the advantage that the tension coil spring (210) is significantly smaller in volume and lighter in weight compared to the weight, so it can be conveniently installed in a narrow indoor space or a limited outdoor space. Furthermore, when installed in an outdoor space, there is the advantage of not having the risk of losing the weight.

[0057] In particular, the present invention has the advantage of enhancing operational safety by preventing the tension coil spring (210) from pivoting or moving left and right due to elasticity when the dual cable (300) is pulled, as the upper connector (220) and the lower connector (230) are respectively connected to the upper and lower ends of the tension coil spring (210). In addition, the screw-type connection by the upper connector (220) and the lower connector (230) has a very useful effect of preventing deformation of the end of the tension coil spring (210) and improving durability, as it does not require deformation of the end of the spring coil at the end of the tension coil spring (210).

[0058] In addition, the present invention has the advantage of facilitating repair or replacement of the tension member (200) by forming through holes (150) on both sides of the column (100), and also facilitating transportation and installation work by reducing the weight of the column (100) as well as reducing material costs by the amount of the through holes (150).

[0059] In addition, the present invention has the advantage of preventing corrosion of the tension member (200) installed in the operating space (101) by blocking the inflow of rainwater or moisture by closing the through hole (150) with upper and lower cover plates (160) (161) when installed outdoors.

[0060] Meanwhile, the cable exercise device according to the embodiment of the present invention has the advantage of being able to help blood circulation not only through muscle strength exercises but also through massage by placing the soles of the feet on the massage roller (130) and moving them back and forth to rub them.

[0061] Meanwhile, FIG. 8 is a cross-sectional view showing a cable exercise machine according to another embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 9 is a front view showing a cable exercise machine according to another embodiment of the present invention.

[0062] A cable exercise device according to another embodiment of the present invention further comprises a tension member (200) installed at the front and rear of an operating space (101), two lines of auxiliary dual cables (500) with one end connected to the front tension member (200) and the other end drawn out through an auxiliary outlet (104) formed at the front lower part of a column (100), and an auxiliary dual pulley (600) rotatably installed in the operating space (101) to guide the drawing out of the other end of the auxiliary dual cables (500).

[0063] Here, the rear tension member (200) applies tension force for the resistance movement of the dual cable (300) described above.

[0064] In the following description of another embodiment of the present invention, configurations identical to those of the previously described embodiment of the present invention are omitted as they can be substituted therefor, and configurations that have changed or been modified are described in detail.

[0065] The auxiliary dual cable (500) is composed of two vertically parallel lines to help maintain left-right balance when performing resistance exercises by pulling the auxiliary handle (530). The auxiliary dual cable (500) is composed of two lines spaced apart at a predetermined interval, similar to the dual cable (300) described above. One end inserted into the operating space (101) is connected to the eye (222) of the upper connector (220) by a connecting carabiner (310), and the other end pulled out through the auxiliary outlet (104) is equipped with a cable loop (520) so that the auxiliary handle (530) is secured through a binding carabiner (531).

[0066] The auxiliary dual pulley (600) is rotatably installed in the lower part of the operating space (101) so as to be close to the auxiliary outlet (104) to guide the extraction of the auxiliary dual cable (500). Referring to FIG. 8, the auxiliary dual pulley (600) may be formed as an upper and lower pair.

[0067] Unexplained symbols 410 and 610 in the drawing represent guide pulleys.

[0068] Additionally, another embodiment of the present invention further includes a sit-up bar (700) configured to perform sit-up exercises by hooking and securing the instep while the heel is placed on the massage roller (130). Both ends of the sit-up bar (700) are installed on a bar bracket (710) fixed to a base plate (110).

[0069] Accordingly, according to another embodiment of the present invention, a handle (330) located at the top of the column (100) or an auxiliary handle (530) located at the bottom of the column (100) can be selectively used, thereby allowing for various strength exercises according to the height difference, and can also perform sit-up exercises using the sit-up bar (700).

[0070] The embodiments of the present invention described above are merely illustrative, and those skilled in the art will readily understand that various modifications and equivalent alternative embodiments are possible therefrom.

[0071] Therefore, it can be well understood that the present invention is not limited only to the forms mentioned in the detailed description above.

[0072] Accordingly, the true scope of technical protection of the present invention should be determined by the technical concept of the appended claims, and the present invention should be understood to include all variations, equivalents, and substitutions within the scope of the technical concept defined by the appended claims.
