Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to an adapter for assembling a coaxial connector, and more specifically, to an open-type adapter for assembling a coaxial connector in which the coaxial connector can be easily inserted into or removed from the adapter. Background Technology
[0002] Since the antenna body and the coaxial connector are joined by a screw connection, the coaxial connector must be rotated for assembly, a process performed either manually or using assembly equipment. When using assembly equipment, an adapter is used to transmit the rotational force generated by the drive module to the coaxial connector.
[0003] Conventional adapters are designed with one side open to allow the coaxial connector to be inserted vertically. Therefore, when using such a conventional adapter, work efficiency may be reduced because the insertion of the coaxial connector must always be guided in a vertical direction. Furthermore, if the insertion direction of the coaxial connector deviates from the vertical direction, there is a problem in that the connector may collide with the adapter, preventing smooth insertion. The problem to be solved
[0004] The objective of the present invention is to solve the aforementioned conventional problems by providing an adapter for an open-type coaxial connector assembly that facilitates the insertion or removal of the coaxial connector from the adapter. means of solving the problem
[0005] The above objective is achieved, according to the present invention, by an adapter for assembling an open-type coaxial connector comprising: a main body portion; an insert portion extending from the main body portion and formed in an arc shape with an open top; and a locking support portion formed at the end of the insert portion and supporting the side of the inserted coaxial connector.
[0006] In addition, the main body may be cylindrical in shape.
[0007] In addition, the insert portion may form a space at the top for accommodating the coaxial connector.
[0008] Additionally, the above-mentioned catch support may include a pair of upper portions with inner surfaces formed vertically so as not to move left or right within the insertion space, and a lower portion having a shape that accommodates the contact surface of the inserted coaxial connector in a downwardly curved manner.
[0009] In addition, the above-mentioned open arc shape can be formed through mechanical processing. Effects of the invention
[0010] According to the present invention, by allowing the coaxial connector to be inserted or removed in a direction intersecting the axial direction of the adapter, the work steps required for mounting and separating the coaxial connector can be reduced, and the assembly time of the coaxial connector can be shortened.
[0011] In addition, according to the present invention, after the connection of the coaxial connector is completed, the antenna body to which the coaxial connector is connected can be lifted upward and removed through the open upper portion of the insertion part and the locking support part. Accordingly, the antenna body to which the coaxial connector is connected can be easily removed from the adapter without separating the coaxial connector assembler from the assembly equipment, thereby simplifying the separation process after assembly is completed.
[0012] In addition, according to the present invention, by opening the upper part of the insertion portion that forms a space for accommodating a coaxial connector, the coaxial connector can be easily inserted or removed through the open part of the insertion portion without moving the coaxial connector and the adapter in the axial direction.
[0013] In addition, according to the present invention, the locking support is formed in a shape capable of restricting the left and right movement of the coaxial connector, thereby supporting the coaxial connector received in the open insertion part and having the effect of stably transmitting the rotational force of the adapter to the coaxial connector. [0022] First, a coaxial connector assembly (100) will be described.
[0023] Referring to FIGS. 4 and 5, the coaxial connector assembler (100) combines the antenna body (20) and the coaxial connector (30) and is connected to the fastening structure of the assembly equipment (10).
[0024] More specifically, the coaxial connector assembler (100) can transmit rotational force and pressure transmitted from the assembly equipment (10) to the coaxial connector (30) so that the coaxial connector (30) is coupled to the antenna body (20) in an aligned state.
[0025] A coaxial connector assembler (100) may include a tool coupling part (1200) having one end coupled to a driving part provided in an assembly facility (10), a connecting shaft part (1100) having one end connected to the other end of the tool coupling part (1200), and an open-type coaxial connector assembly adapter (1000) according to an embodiment of the present invention connected to the other end of the connecting shaft part (1100).
[0026] The tool coupling part (1200) can be coupled with a driving part provided in the assembly facility (10) to receive rotational force or pressure. Here, the driving part may include an electric tool, a manual tool, or a separate driving device.
[0027] More specifically, the shape and size of the tool coupling part (1200) may be formed to correspond to one end of the connecting shaft part (1100) and the fastening structure of the assembly equipment (10), and may be formed in a circular, polygonal, or grooved shape, but are not limited thereto.
[0028] The connecting shaft portion (1100) is positioned between the tool coupling portion (1200) and the adapter (1000) for an open-type coaxial connector assembly according to an embodiment of the present invention, so as to transmit the rotational force or pressure transmitted to the tool coupling portion (1200) to the adapter (1000) for an open-type coaxial connector assembly according to an embodiment of the present invention. Here, the length, diameter, and cross-sectional shape of the connecting shaft portion (1100) can be formed in various ways depending on the workspace, the location of the object to be assembled, or the required load, and are not limited to a specific shape.
[0029] One end of the adapter (1000) for an open-type coaxial connector assembly according to one embodiment of the present invention may be detachably connected to the other end of the connecting shaft portion (1100). Here, the shape of one end of the adapter (1000) for an open-type coaxial connector assembly according to one embodiment of the present invention may be formed to correspond to the shape of the other end of the connecting shaft portion (1100).
[0030] For example, the connecting shaft portion (1100) and the adapter (1000) for assembling an open-type coaxial connector according to an embodiment of the present invention may be connected and disconnected by a ball fastening method in which the connected state is maintained by the elastic movement of a ball. However, this is not limited thereto, and they may be connected separably through screw fastening, pin fastening, snap fastening, clamp fastening, or a combination thereof. Accordingly, depending on the shape or specifications of the coaxial connector (30) to be assembled, only the adapter (1000) for assembling an open-type coaxial connector according to an embodiment of the present invention may be selectively replaced and used.
[0031] In addition, the coaxial connector assembler (100) can be integrally joined so that the tool coupling part (1200), the connecting shaft part (1100), and the open-type coaxial connector assembly adapter (1000) according to one embodiment of the present invention are not separated by a fixed coupling method such as soldering, welding, or bonding.
[0033] Referring to FIG. 1, an adapter (1000) for an open-type coaxial connector assembly according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a main body part (1010), an insertion part (1020), and a locking support part (1030).
[0034] First, the main body (1010) forms the base body of the adapter (1000) for an open-type coaxial connector assembly according to an embodiment of the present invention, and the insertion part (1020) described later may be extended and formed.
[0035] More specifically, the main body (1010) may be formed to have a constant thickness and may form the base body of an adapter (1000) for an open-type coaxial connector assembly according to an embodiment of the present invention. A tool fastening space may be formed inside the main body (1010) so that the other end of the connecting shaft (1100) can be inserted and coupled thereto. At this time, the tool fastening space may correspond to the cross-sectional shape and size of the connecting shaft (1100). Here, the outer surface of the main body (1010) may be formed in a circular, elliptical, or polygonal shape, but is not limited thereto.
[0036] The main body (1010) may be formed to have rigidity capable of withstanding rotational force and torsional load generated during the assembly process of the coaxial connector (30). For example, the main body (1010) may be formed of a metal material such as carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, or aluminum alloy, but is not limited thereto.
[0037] As described above, the main body (1010) maintains structural stability even during repetitive assembly work, thereby improving the durability and service life of the adapter (1000) for assembly of an open-type coaxial connector according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0039] Next, the insertion part (1020) is formed in an arc shape with an open top and extends from the main body part (1010) to form an insertion space (S1) in which a part of the coaxial connector (30) is received.
[0040] More specifically, the insertion portion (1020) may extend from the main body portion (1010). An insertion space (S1) is provided on the inner side of the insertion portion (1020), and a part of the coaxial connector (30) may be placed in the insertion space (S1).
[0041] Referring to FIG. 2, the insertion portion (1020) may be formed in an arc shape with an open top. The inner surface of the insertion portion (1020) may be formed to be curved downward to accommodate a part of the coaxial connector (30), and the insertion space (S1) may be in communication with the outside through the open top. Here, the arc angle formed by the arc shape is not limited to a specific angle within the range in which the coaxial connector (30) can be accommodated.
[0042] Since the upper part of the insertion part (1020) is open, the coaxial connector (30) can be mounted in the insertion space (S1) through the upper part that is open in a direction intersecting the axial direction of the insertion part (1020), without the need to be inserted along the axial direction of the insertion part (1020). For example, the coaxial connector (30) can be inserted by moving toward the insertion space (S1) from the upper side of the open upper part.
[0043] For example, when the connection of the coaxial connector (30) is completed, the operator can lift the antenna body (20) to which the coaxial connector (30) is connected upward in a direction intersecting the axial direction of the insertion part (1020). At this time, the coaxial connector (30), which moves together with the antenna body (20), can pass through the open upper part of the insertion part (1020) and the locking support part (1030) and detach from the insertion space (S1) and the locking space (S2).
[0044] Accordingly, while maintaining the coaxial connector assembler (100) mounted on the assembly facility (10), the antenna body (20) to which the coaxial connector (30) is connected can be separated from the coaxial connector assembler (100).
[0045] The open arc shape at the top of the insertion part (1020) can be formed through mechanical processing. For example, the open upper shape can be formed by removing an area corresponding to the insertion space (S1) from a cylindrical material by milling, end milling, cutting, grinding, electrical discharge machining, laser processing, or water jet processing.
[0046] If the shape or specifications of the coaxial connector (30) being mounted are changed, the insertion part (1020) can be further processed to adjust the width, depth, length, or curvature of the inner surface of the insertion space (S1). Accordingly, the insertion part (1020) can be modified to fit coaxial connectors (30) of different specifications.
[0047] For example, the insertion part (1020) may be formed into a circular shape through casting, forging, extrusion, press forming, or additive manufacturing, and then the width, depth, length, and curvature of the inner surface corresponding to the insertion space (S1) may be adjusted through post-processing such as cutting, milling, grinding, or electrical discharge machining. After the above processing is completed, chamfering, deburring, polishing, or surface treatment may be additionally performed on the open upper and inner surfaces so that interference or damage does not occur during the insertion and removal process of the coaxial connector (30).
[0048] As described above, the insertion part (1020) allows the antenna body (20) to which the coaxial connector (30) is attached to be easily separated from the open-type coaxial connector assembly adapter (1000) according to an embodiment of the present invention without separating the coaxial connector assembler (100) from the assembly facility (10), thereby simplifying the separation process after assembly is completed.
[0050] Next, referring to FIGS. 3 and FIGS. 6, the catch support (1030) supports the side so that the coaxial connector (30) does not move left or right, and is formed as an extension at the end of the insertion part (1020).
[0051] More specifically, the catch support (1030) is formed as an extension from the end of the insertion part (1020) and supports the side of the received coaxial connector (30) to prevent the coaxial connector (30) from moving left or right or being positioned away from the rotation axis of the assembly equipment (10).
[0052] The catch support (1030) may include a pair of upper (1031) and lower (1032) portions.
[0053] Referring to FIG. 3, a locking space (S2) may be formed on the inner side of a pair of upper (1031) and lower (1032). A nut-shaped outer surface formed on the fastening side of the coaxial connector (30) may be disposed in the locking space (S2). Additionally, the locking space (S2) may be in communication with the insertion space (S1).
[0054] A pair of upper members (1031) may be formed to extend upward from both sides of the lower member (1032) and face each other. At this time, the inner surface of each upper member (1031) is formed vertically, and the outer surface may correspond to the shape of the outer surface of the main body (1010). Here, the left and right movement of both sides of the outer surface of the nut shape of the coaxial connector (30) placed in the locking space (S2) may be limited by the vertical shape of the pair of upper members (1031).
[0055] Additionally, the inner surface of a pair of upper parts (1031) contacts both sides of the outer surface of the nut shape of the coaxial connector (30), so that the rotational force of the adapter (1000) for an open-type coaxial connector assembly according to an embodiment of the present invention can be transmitted to the coaxial connector (30).
[0056] Here, being formed vertically may include cases where it is formed close to the vertical direction within a range that can limit the left and right movement of the coaxial connector (30).
[0058] Meanwhile, the distance between the two sides facing the upper inner surface of a pair of the outer circumference of the nut shape of the coaxial connector can be called the reference width, and the distance between the upper inner surfaces facing each other can be called the catch width. It is preferable that the catch width be formed to be 1.01 to 1.05 times the reference width.
[0059] If the above-mentioned catch width is formed to be 1.01 times or more of the above-mentioned standard width, the coaxial connector can be smoothly inserted or removed between a pair of upper parts even if machining errors of the coaxial connector and the catch support, dimensional changes due to surface treatment, or deformation due to repeated use occur.
[0060] In addition, if the above-mentioned catch width is formed to be 1.05 times or less of the above-mentioned standard width, it is possible to suppress the formation of excessive play between the outer surface of the nut shape of the coaxial connector and the inner surface of a pair of upper parts. Accordingly, when the adapter rotates, the pair of upper parts stably support the outer surface of the nut shape of the coaxial connector, thereby transmitting rotational force to the coaxial connector.
[0062] The lower portion (1032) connects the lower ends of a pair of upper portions (1031) and may be formed to be curved downward to accommodate the contact surface of the coaxial connector (30) from below. The curvature, width, and depth of the lower portion (1032) may be formed to correspond to the shape and size of the contact surface of the coaxial connector (30). At this time, the inner surface of the lower portion (1032) may form a step with the inner surface of the insertion portion (1020).
[0063] As described above, the locking support member (1030) supports both sides of the coaxial connector (30) to prevent the coaxial connector (30) from moving left and right during the assembly process, and prevents the coaxial connector (30) from arbitrarily deviating from the assembly position during assembly, thereby improving the stability of the assembly work.
[0064] According to an adapter (1000) for assembling an open-type coaxial connector according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprising a main body (1010), an insertion part (1020), and a locking support part (1030) as described above, a coaxial connector (30) can be inserted or removed in a direction intersecting the axial direction of the adapter. Accordingly, the number of work steps required for mounting and removing the coaxial connector (30) can be reduced, and the assembly time can be shortened.
[0066] Now, with reference to the attached drawings, a method for assembling a coaxial connector (30) using an adapter (1000) for assembling an open-type coaxial connector according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described.
[0067] First, referring to FIG. 7, a coaxial connector assembler (100) can be mounted on an assembly facility (10).
[0068] Next, the coaxial connector (30) can be moved in a direction intersecting the axial direction of the insertion part (1020) and mounted on an open-type coaxial connector assembly adapter (1000) according to one embodiment of the present invention through the open upper part of the insertion part (1020).
[0069] At this time, a portion of the coaxial connector (30) may be placed in the insertion space (S1) of the insertion part (1020), and the nut-shaped outer surface of the coaxial connector (30) may be placed in the locking space (S2) of the locking support part (1030). A pair of upper parts (1031) may support both sides of the nut-shaped outer surface of the coaxial connector (30), and lower parts (1032) may support the coaxial connector (30) from below.
[0070] The operator can bring the antenna body (20) close to the coaxial connector (30) so that the connecting part of the antenna body (20) faces the connecting side of the coaxial connector (30).
[0071] Afterwards, when the assembly equipment (10) is driven to rotate the coaxial connector assembly machine (100), the coaxial connector (30) supported by the locking support (1030) rotates together, and the coaxial connector (30) can be screw-fastened to the antenna body (20).
[0072] When the connection of the coaxial connector (30) is completed, the operator can lift the antenna body (20) to which the coaxial connector (30) is connected upward. At this time, the coaxial connector (30), which moves together with the antenna body (20), can pass through the open upper portion of the insertion part (1020) and the locking support part (1030) and detach from the insertion space (S1) and the locking space (S2).
[0073] Accordingly, the operator can easily remove the antenna body (20) to which the coaxial connector (30) is attached from the open-type coaxial connector assembly adapter (1000) according to an embodiment of the present invention without separating the coaxial connector assembler (100) from the assembly facility (10).
[0074] As described above, the coaxial connector (30) can be moved in a direction intersecting the axial direction of the insertion part (1020) and mounted in the insertion space (S1) through the open upper part of the insertion part (1020). Accordingly, the coaxial connector (30) can be easily mounted without aligning and inserting it in the axial direction of the insertion part (1020).
[0075] Additionally, the locking support (1030) supports the coaxial connector (30) to stably maintain the coaxial connector (30) in the connection position with the antenna body (20). After the connection of the coaxial connector (30) is completed, if the operator lifts the antenna body (20) in a direction intersecting the axial direction of the insertion part (1020), the coaxial connector (30) connected to the antenna body (20) can be disengaged through the open upper portion of the insertion part (1020) and the locking support (1030).
[0076] Accordingly, there is an effect that the antenna body (20) to which the coaxial connector (30) is attached can be easily removed from the open-type coaxial connector assembly adapter (1000) according to one embodiment of the present invention without separating the coaxial connector assembler (100) from the assembly facility (10).
