Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a charging connector for a vehicle, and more specifically, to a charging connector for a vehicle that is embedded in the vehicle body and coupled to a charging part of the vehicle connected to a battery to provide external power. Background Technology

[0002] Interest in eco-friendly vehicles has increased to address environmental issues through energy conservation and pollution prevention. Consequently, hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, biodiesel vehicles, and electric vehicles are garnering attention as alternatives to vehicles powered by conventional internal combustion engines.

[0003] Among these, the field of the most active technological development is the electric vehicle sector, which consists of vehicles that use electricity as their primary driving force. To this end, electric vehicles are equipped with a charging section connected to a battery to receive electrical energy from an external source.

[0004] In this case, a charging outlet connected to an external power source is integrated into the charging section of the electric vehicle to supply power from the outside. Furthermore, since electric energy is a major energy source managed by the state and presents the problem of difficulty in establishing supply infrastructure, there is a trend to increase the adoption of electric vehicles by installing charging outlets in public places for use by an unspecified number of people.

[0005] In addition, the charging outlet is an electrical component installed in public places and used by an unspecified number of people; to enable faster charging, a high-voltage power source is supplied through multiple cables, and a sheath is formed for safety.

[0006] Consequently, when a user charges a vehicle, difficulties arise in connecting the charging outlet to the vehicle's charging port due to the rigidity of the connecting cable, and a problem occurs in which the possibility of damage increases due to the repetitive excessive load applied to the part where the charging head and the connecting cable are connected. The problem to be solved

[0007] One embodiment of the invention is devised to solve the above-mentioned problems and aims to provide a vehicle charging connector with improved user convenience and durability by ensuring ease of operation of the connecting cable portion. means of solving the problem

[0008] A vehicle charging connector according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a charging head having a terminal portion electrically connected to a charging portion of a vehicle; a connecting cable portion connected to the terminal portion and extending to one side of the charging head and connected to an external power supply portion; and a guide holder installed at one end of the charging head to simultaneously guide the extension direction and the deformation direction of the connecting cable portion; wherein the connecting cable portion is formed of an electrode cable for supplying power and a signal cable for transmitting a signal, and the electrode cable and the signal cable are arranged relatively long in a first radial direction, which is one direction of the radial direction.

[0009] The above guide holder may be formed with a holder body that is received and fixed inside the charging head, and a guide body that extends from the holder body to the outside of the charging head and has a guide rib formed therein that limits the deformation direction of the connecting cable portion to a second radial direction.

[0010] The charging head may be formed as a coupling head that accommodates the terminal portion and is connected to the charging portion of a vehicle, and a guide head that extends from the coupling head in a first extension direction to guide the extension direction of the connecting cable portion, and the guide holder may additionally guide the connecting cable portion by forming a guide hole that penetrates the holder body and the guide body in the first extension direction.

[0011] The above holder body has an asymmetrical shape with respect to the first radial direction, so that the connecting cable part can be guided to easily deform in any one direction of the second radial direction.

[0012] The second radial direction is a direction that intersects the first radial direction, and the connecting cable portion can be guided by the guide rib to facilitate deformation in either of the two radial directions.

[0013] The above guide rib is formed to form a first extension direction, and is formed to be inclined in one of the second radial directions to guide the deformation direction of the connecting cable part, and a guiding guide rib, and

[0014] The above-mentioned guide rib may be formed as a limiting guide rib that extends in one of the other directions of the second radial directions and limits the deformation direction of the connecting cable portion to one of the directions of the second radial directions.

[0015] The above limiting guide rib is formed by a plurality of first ribs that are inclined in one of the second radial directions from one side of the holder body and extend to one side of the guide rib, thereby generating a repulsive force in the other of the second radial directions of the connecting cable part.

[0016] The above limiting guide rib may further have a plurality of second ribs formed at the other side of the guide rib, inclined in one of the second radial directions, thereby reducing the repulsive force generated in any one of the second radial directions. Effects of the invention

[0017] As examined above, various effects including the following can be expected according to the means for solving the problem of the present invention. However, the present invention is not required to exhibit all of the following effects to be valid.

[0018] The vehicle charging connector of the present invention is formed such that the connecting cable portion is relatively long in the first radial direction, making it easy to bend in the second radial direction that is vertical, thereby facilitating user operability.

[0019] At this time, a guide holder is provided at one end of the charging head to guide the extension direction and deformation direction of the connecting cable part, thereby facilitating bending in the second radial direction and additionally restricting the deformation direction through interference in one direction, thereby improving user convenience and preventing damage to the connecting cable.

[0020] In addition, a fixing holder is provided to secure the connecting cable section to the inside of the charging head, thereby stably fixing the connecting cable section in a preset position to ensure durability of the connection part with the terminal section, and improving electrical connection stability and operator productivity. [0029] FIG. 10 is a drawing illustrating the stress generated in the guide rib when the connecting cable portion is bent in part A of FIG. 2.

[0030] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 10, a vehicle charging connector (10) of one embodiment of the present invention comprises a charging head (100) having a terminal portion (200) electrically connected to a charging portion of a vehicle, a connecting cable portion (300) connected to the terminal portion (200) and extending to one side of the charging head (100) and connected to an external power supply unit, and a guide holder (400) installed at one end of the charging head (200) to simultaneously guide the extension direction and the deformation direction of the connecting cable portion (300). The connecting cable portion (300) is formed of an electrode cable (310) for supplying power and a signal cable (320) for transmitting a signal, and the electrode cable (310) and the signal cable (320) are arranged relatively long in a first radial direction, which is one direction of the radial direction.

[0031] The vehicle charging connector (10) is a device that supplies external power by connecting to a charging part of the vehicle embedded in the vehicle body, which supplies power for driving and performing functions of the vehicle. At this time, high-voltage power is supplied to improve charging efficiency, such as the charging time of the vehicle.

[0032] The charging head (100) is formed by first and second heads (101, 102) that are combined to form a combined space (103). Through the first and second heads (101, 102), the combined space (103) is closed to be separated from the outside, but a communication hole (1031) is formed on one side of the combined space (103) so that the connecting cable part (300) can be connected to an external power source.

[0033] At this time, the communication hole (1031) may be formed in correspondence with the shape of the connecting cable, but in one example, the communication hole (1031) is formed in a circular shape centered on the extension direction. Accordingly, a connecting cable part (300) having a cross-sectional shape different from the circular shape can be applied as is to a vehicle charging connector (10) to which a connecting cable part (300) having a conventional circular cross-section is applied.

[0034] Here, the first and second heads (101, 102) refer to different units in which the charging head (100) is separated along the center, making it easy for the operator to install the terminal part (200) and the connecting cable part (300) inside.

[0035] Below, the function of the charging head (100) will be described based on the state in which the first and second heads (101, 102) are combined.

[0036] The charging head (100) is formed with a coupling head (110) that accommodates a terminal portion (200) inside, a guide head (120) that is formed to extend at an angle from one side of the coupling head (110), and a connecting portion (130) that is formed on one side of the coupling head (110) and connected to the charging portion of the vehicle.

[0037] At this time, it is desirable for the connecting part (130) to extend in the same direction as the connecting ted so that the user can easily insert it into the charging part of the vehicle. However, it is desirable for the guide head (120) to extend at an angle to one side from the connecting head (110) to facilitate the user's grip and prevent damage to the connecting cable part (300).

[0038] Additionally, the guide head (120) guides the connecting cable portion (300), which is connected to the terminal portion (200) received in the coupling head (110), into the communication hole (1031). To this end, a structure for fixing and guiding the connecting cable portion (300) is formed in the guide head (120) portion, that is, in the first and second heads (101, 102) that are coupled to form the guide head (120) portion.

[0039] Specifically, on the inner side of the guide head (120), a seating portion (121) on which a connecting cable portion (300) extended from the terminal portion (200) is seated, a second seating groove (122) on which a guide holder (400) is seated and fixed, and a fixing portion (123) on which a fixing holder (500) is fixed are formed.

[0040] At this time, the seating portion (121), the second seating groove (122), and the fixing portion (123) are each formed to face each other in the direction of being coupled to the first and second heads (101, 102). Accordingly, both sides of the connecting cable portion (300) are stably fixed at a preset position to prevent excessive load from occurring in the connection portion with the terminal portion (200) and the bending portion.

[0041] Specifically, the seating portion (121) is formed with a seating body (1211) formed at a preset position in the coupling space (103) and a first seating groove (1212) formed on the inner side of the seating body (1211) to accommodate the outer side of the connecting cable portion (300), i.e., the covering portion (330).

[0042] At this time, the mounting body (1211) protrudes into the coupling space (103) and is formed in multiple numbers spaced apart by a predetermined distance in the extension direction, and the first mounting groove (1212) is preferably formed as a curved surface.

[0043] Accordingly, the first mounting groove (1212) is in close contact with both outer sides of the connecting cable part (300), and the mounting body (1211) is formed to face the first and second heads (101, 102) in a state where it protrudes into the coupling space (103), thereby generating a pressing force toward the outside of the connecting cable through the coupling of the first and second heads (101, 102) to primarily fix the connecting cable part (300).

[0044] Additionally, the mounting portions (121) are formed as a pair spaced apart by a predetermined distance in the extension direction, thereby forming a space between the different mounting portions (121) where the fixing holder (500) is fixed. Accordingly, the fixing holder (500) is supported on both sides in the extension direction by the mounting portions (121) and can be stably installed on the charging head (100) without a separate fixing member.

[0045] The second seating groove (122) is formed so that the holder body (410) of the guide holder (400) is seated in proximity to the communication hole (1031). Here, the second seating groove (122) may be formed by being recessed into the inner side of the charging head (100), but it may also be formed by protruding outwards from both sides of the holder body (410).

[0046] Accordingly, the guide holder (400) can be stably fixed by supporting the holder body (410), which is received in the charging head (100), in the radial and extensional directions by the combination of the first and second heads (101, 102).

[0047] The fixing part (123) is formed on one side of the seating part (121) and accommodates the fixing body (520) of the fixing holder (500) so that the connecting cable part (300) is additionally fixed at a preset position of the coupling space (103).

[0048] At this time, for more stable fixation, it is preferable that the fixing part (123) be extended between different seating parts (121) so that the fixing body (520) is fixed by the fixing part (123) and at the same time a part of the receiving body (510) that accommodates the connecting cable part (300) is supported by the seating part (121).

[0049] Additionally, the fixed part (123) has a shape that can accommodate a fastening member (530) that fastens the first and second fixed holders (501, 502) to form a single fixed holder (500), thereby reducing the possibility of damage that may occur due to external impact when using the vehicle charging connector (10).

[0050] In summary, the charging head (100) of the present invention is a device that supplies external power for charging a vehicle, and is equipped with a structure for connection stability and stable fixation of a terminal involved in electrical connection and a connecting cable part (300) inside, thereby significantly improving production and ease of use.

[0051] A portion of the terminal section (200) is received in the coupling space (103) and is electrically connected to the connecting cable section (300), and an internal terminal is received in the connecting section (130), and as the connecting section (130) is coupled to the charging section of the vehicle, it is connected to the internal terminal of the vehicle charging section to relay the electrical connection.

[0052] The connecting cable portion (300) is formed of an electrode cable (310) for supplying power, a signal cable (320) for transmitting a signal, and a covering portion (330) that accommodates and protects the electrode cable (310) and the signal cable (320) inside.

[0053] At this time, the electrode cable (310) and the signal cable (320) are arranged so that the connecting cable part (300) is formed relatively long in a first radial direction corresponding to one direction of the radial direction, thereby facilitating the movement of the connecting cable part (300) when the user operates the charging head (100), and significantly improving the user's convenience.

[0054] Specifically, the electrode cable (310) is essentially formed as a pair of positive cables connected to the positive terminal of an external power source and negative cables connected to the negative terminal of an external power source for electrical connection, and may be formed as a plurality of pairs as needed.

[0055] In addition, the signal cable (320) transmits elements such as temperature and voltage that require control for stable power supply as electrical signals.

[0056] At this time, since the electrode cable (310) is generally formed as a large-diameter cable to stably supply high-voltage power, the overall thickness of the connecting cable part (300) is generally determined by the electrode cable (310).

[0057] Accordingly, in order to maximize user convenience, it is preferable that the electrode cable (310) and the signal cable (320) be arranged in a line in a first radial direction so that the entire connecting cable section (300) has the shape of a flat cable.

[0058] In addition, it is desirable to protect the signal cable (320), which is formed with a relatively small diameter, from the outside by placing it between the electrode cables (310).

[0059] In other words, the connecting cable portion (300) of the present invention has a shape similar to a flat cable formed long in the first radial direction, so that the connecting cable portion (300) is formed to facilitate bending in the second radial direction perpendicular to the first radial direction.

[0060] Accordingly, when the user operates the charging head (100), the connecting cable portion (300) bends in the second radial direction rather than the first radial direction, thereby significantly reducing the fatigue required for the user to operate the charging head (100) when charging the vehicle.

[0061] The guide holder (400) comprises a holder body (410) that is received and fixed inside the charging head (100), a guide body (420) that extends from the holder body (410) to the outside of the charging head (100), and a guide hole (430) formed through the holder body (410) and the guide body (420) to simultaneously guide the extension direction and the deformation direction of the connecting cable part (300).

[0062] At this time, a guide rib (421) is formed in the guide body (420) to guide the direction of deformation of the connecting cable part (300), that is, the direction in which bending occurs. At this time, it is desirable that the guide rib (421) be formed on the outer side of the guide body (420) to secure a contact area with the connecting cable part (300) on the inner side, thereby also providing stable fixing force.

[0063] Specifically, the guide rib (421) is formed with an induction guide rib (4211) that is inclined and extended to directly guide the deformation direction of the connecting cable part (300), and a limiting guide rib (4212) that is inclined and extended from the induction guide rib (4211) to cause interference with the deformation direction of the connecting cable part (300) and guide it directly or indirectly.

[0064] The guide rib (4211) is formed in the first extension direction and is formed to be inclined in one of the second radial directions, thereby directly guiding the deformation direction of the connecting cable part (300) to occur in one of the second radial directions.

[0065] Additionally, the limiting guide rib (4212) is formed by a plurality of first ribs (42121) extending from the guiding guide rib (4211) in one of the other directions of the second radial direction, thereby generating a repulsive force when the connecting cable part (300) deforms in one of the other directions of the second radial direction, and indirectly guiding the deformation direction of the connecting cable part (300) through interference.

[0066] At this time, the plurality of first ribs (42121) are inclined and extended in one of the second radial directions, and like the guide ribs (4211), directly guide the deformation direction of the connecting cable part (300) so that it occurs in one of the second radial directions.

[0067] Furthermore, it is preferable that the limiting guide rib (4212) additionally has a plurality of second ribs (42122) extending from the guiding guide rib (4211) in one of the second radial directions. The second ribs (42122) are formed to be inclined in the opposite direction to the first rib (42121), that is, in the other of the second radial directions.

[0068] Accordingly, the second rib (42122) directly guides the deformation direction of the connecting cable part (300) to occur in one of the second radial directions, and causes a predetermined stress to occur in one of the second radial directions when the connecting cable part (300) is deformed.

[0069] This prevents the connecting cable portion (300) from being excessively deformed in any one of the second radial directions, thereby facilitating user operation, and at the same time prevents unexpected stress from concentrating on the connecting cable portion (300), thereby preventing damage to the connecting cable portion (300).

[0070] At this time, the holder body (410) has an asymmetrical shape based on the first radial direction, and is formed with a narrower width in one direction than in the other direction among the second radial directions so as to additionally restrict the deformation direction of the connecting cable part (300).

[0071] Specifically, the cross-sectional area of the second radial direction has a shape similar to a trapezoid, so that when the connecting cable part (300) is deformed in one of the second radial directions, a greater load is required for deformation than in one of the second radial directions, where the width is formed narrower in the extension direction.

[0072] In addition, it is desirable that the guide hole (430) be inclined in the same direction as the inclined direction of the guide head (120) and be bent inwardly to prevent additional stress from occurring in the connecting cable portion (300) that is extended.

[0073] Accordingly, the guide holder (400) of the present invention, together with the guide rib (421), limits the direction of the connecting cable part (300) that bends when the user operates the charging head (100), thereby maximizing the effect of improving user convenience while preventing unexpected damage to the connecting cable part (300).

[0074] A fixed holder (500, 1500) is formed by combining a first fixed holder (501, 1501) and a second fixed holder (502, 1502) to form a single fixed holder (500, 1500), and a fixed space (503, 1503) in which a connecting cable part (300) is received internally is formed by combining the first and second fixed holders (501, 1501, 502, 1502).

[0075] Accordingly, the worker can easily install the fixing holder (500, 1500) at a preset position by placing the first fixing holder (501, 1501) on one side of the connecting cable connected to the terminal part (200) and the second fixing holder (502, 1502) on the other side.

[0076] At this time, the first and second fixed holders (501, 1501, 502, 1502) may be formed as separate parts and formed into a single fixed holder (500, 1500) by means of a fastening member (530), but if necessary, one side of the first and second fixed holders (501, 1501, 502, 1502) may be connected and formed into a hinge structure in which the other side rotates and opens around the connected part.

[0077] Below, the function of the fixed holder (500) will be described based on the state in which the first and second fixed holders (501, 1501, 502, 1502) are combined.

[0078] The fixed holder (500, 1500) is formed with a receiving body (510, 1510) that has a fixed space formed on the inside to accommodate a part of the connecting cable part (300), and a fixed body (520) that extends from the receiving body (510, 1510) and is fixed to the charging head (100), so that the connecting cable is fixed at a preset position in the coupling space (103).

[0079] Accordingly, this prevents unexpected loads from occurring at the connection point between the terminal part (200) and the connecting cable part (300), thereby ensuring electrical connection stability and simultaneously ensuring the durability of the product.

[0080] Here, the fixed holder (500, 1500) is configured to stably fix the connecting cable to the charging head (100), and can have various structures to secure the fixing force between the connecting cable part (300) and the charging head (100).

[0081] Accordingly, the fixed holder (500) of the following example and the fixed holder (1500) of another example provide the same purpose and effect, but the fixed holder (500) of the example and the fixed holder (1500) of another example are distinguished by forming a part of the receiving body (510, 1510) for this purpose differently, and the difference is explained.

[0082] At this time, since the fixed body (520) is formed identically, the explanation is based only on one example of a fixed holder (500), but this explanation is applicable to other fixed holders (1500) as well.

[0083] Specifically, in one example, the receiving body (510) has a fixing space formed inwardly by the combination of the first and second fixing holders (501, 502), a reinforcing hole (511) that penetrates one side and communicates with the fixing space, a contact projection (512) that presses the connecting cable part (300) inwardly, and a reinforcing part (513) supported by the seating part (121) are formed to stably secure the fixing force with the connecting cable part (300) and the fixing force with the coupling head (110).

[0084] The reinforcing hole (511) is formed so that the covering portion (330) protrudes outwardly due to close contact with the connecting cable while the connecting cable portion (300) is fixed in the fixed space, thereby securing the fixing force with the connecting cable.

[0085] At this time, the contact projection (512) protrudes into the fixing space and comes into close contact with the connecting cable in a direction opposite to the reinforcement hole (511), thereby providing improved fixing force. Here, the reinforcement hole (511) and the contact projection (512) provide fixing force in different directions and can be selectively formed according to the design.

[0086] The reinforcing portion is formed by a reinforcing rib (5131) that is cut from the receiving body (510) and protrudes outward, and a buffer space (5132) is formed on both sides of the reinforcing rib (5131). Specifically, the reinforcing rib (5131) is formed on both sides in the extension direction of the receiving body (510) and is supported by different seating bodies (1211) to additionally fix the fixing holder (500) in the extension direction.

[0087] At this time, the buffer space (5132) allows the reinforcing rib (5131) to undergo a predetermined deformation in the extension direction, thereby offsetting interference that may occur when fixing the fixed holder (500) due to production tolerance between different seating portions (121) and ensuring convenience for the worker.

[0088] In addition, the receiving body (1510) of the fixed holder (1500) of another embodiment forms a pressure portion (1514) to secure a fixing force with the connecting cable portion (300), and a guide projection (1515) is formed to additionally guide the deformation direction by additionally pressing the connecting cable portion (300).

[0089] Specifically, the pressure section (1514) is formed with a pressure hole (15141) and a pressure rib (15142) that extends inwardly into the pressure hole (15141) and provides elastic force, thereby stably fixing the connecting cable through the elastic force. At this time, the fixing force can be easily adjusted through the degree of deformation of the pressure rib (15142), thereby providing a fixing force corresponding to the specifications of the connecting cable section (300).

[0090] Here, in order to provide a more uniform fixing force over the entire area of the connecting cable portion (300), it is preferable that the pressure ribs (15142) be formed as a pair of opposing pressure holes (15141) extending from both sides to provide the greatest elastic force at the center.

[0091] Additionally, the guide projection (1515) is formed on both sides in the extension direction of the pressure hole (15141) to provide additional fixing force. At this time, it extends in the first radial direction and generates pressure in the second radial direction to fix the placement position of the electrode cable (310) and the signal cable (320), thereby preventing unexpected deformation of the connecting cable part (300) and indirectly guiding the direction of deformation.

[0092] The fixed body (520) extends from one side of the receiving body (510) to integrally combine the first and second fixed holders (501, 502) and is received in the fixed part (123) and fixedly hooked to the charging head (100).

[0093] To this end, a connecting hole (521) is formed in the portion corresponding to the fixing body (520) of the first and second fixing holders (501, 502) that communicates with each other.

[0094] At this time, the fastening member (530) sequentially penetrates the fastening holes (521) of the first and second fixed holders (501, 502) to form a single fixed holder (500).

[0095] However, since the fastening hole (521) and the fastening member (530) correspond to one example for forming the fixed body (520) integrally, it is obvious to a person skilled in the art that such an objective can be achieved through various structures in which the first and second fixed holders (501, 502) are fastened according to design changes.

[0096] Accordingly, the vehicle charging connector (10) of the present invention is equipped with a fixing holder (500, 1500) that stably fixes the connecting cable portion (300) to a specific position of the charging head (100), thereby preventing the connecting cable portion (300) from being damaged even by an unspecified number of repetitive operations of the charging head (100).

[0097] In summary, the vehicle charging connector (10) of the present invention is equipped with a guide holder (400) and a fixing holder (500, 1500) that are involved in the deformation and fixation of the connecting cable portion (300), thereby stably securing the part where the terminal portion (200) and the connecting cable portion (300) are connected, thereby ensuring electrical connection stability.

[0098] Accordingly, the stability of the vehicle charging connector (10) that provides high voltage is ensured, thereby further improving user convenience, such as preventing secondary accidents.

[0099] In addition, when the user operates the charging head (100), the direction of deformation of the connecting cable part (300) is guided and restricted to facilitate the user's operation, thereby maximizing the effect of improving user convenience and preventing damage caused by excessive operation, which also improves the durability and reliability of the product.

[0100] Although preferred embodiments of the present invention have been described illustratively above, the scope of the present invention is not limited to such specific embodiments, and any modifications that are appropriately possible within the scope described in the claims fall within the scope of protection of the present invention.
