Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a wire insertion device, and more specifically, to a wire insertion device that guides the insertion position and the inserted wire when inserting a wire into a terminal insertion hole of a connector, thereby enabling a worker to perform the work more easily. Background Technology
[0002] Unless otherwise indicated in this specification, the contents described in this identification item are not prior art for the claims of this application, and are not recognized as prior art simply because they are described in this identification item.
[0003] Numerous electronic components are built into automobiles, and the vehicle is controlled and operated by these built-in components. These components are interconnected by wires and connectors to transmit and receive electrical signals or power. Recently, with the advancement of technology, automobiles equipped with numerous functions have been developed, resulting in the placement of even more wires and connectors within the vehicles.
[0004] Therefore, even if the connectors have the same shape, the number and types of wires connected differ depending on where the connector is installed and what electrical components are connected to each other. Accordingly, the worker installing wires and connectors in the vehicle assembles and installs the wires and connectors according to the installation location and the shape of the connector.
[0005] Since numerous wires and connectors are installed inside a vehicle and each is assembled in different combinations, workers must always refer to the product manual to assemble the wires and connectors sequentially. In such cases, work efficiency is excessively reduced because the manual must be checked constantly. On the other hand, if the manual is not checked, wires and connectors may be assembled incorrectly, causing vehicle malfunctions and leading to various accidents.
[0006] Therefore, there is an urgent need for an assembly device that can efficiently assemble wires and connectors without constantly checking the manual. Prior art literature

[0041] Hereinafter, specific embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
[0042] FIG. 1 is a perspective view illustrating a wire insertion guide device according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of the wire insertion guide device of FIG. 1, FIG. 3 is a perspective view illustrating a wire mounting holder (2100) of FIG. 1, FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view along IV-IV of FIG. 2, FIG. 5 is a perspective view illustrating the combination of the connector mounting jig (1000) and the connector (20) of FIG. 1, FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view along VI-VI of FIG. 5, FIG. 7 is a perspective view illustrating an auxiliary workbench (4100) of FIG. 1, and FIG. 8 is a conceptual diagram illustrating the electrical connection relationship of the wire insertion guide device of FIG. 1.
[0043] As illustrated in these drawings, a wire insertion guide device according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a connector mounting jig (1000), a wire storage unit (2000), a control unit (3000), a main workbench (4000), and a monitor (5000). The wire insertion guide device allows a worker combining a wire and a connector (20) to combine the correct wire at the correct location without having to refer to a product-specific assembly manual every time. By marking the location of the connector (20) and the wire storage unit (2000) where the wire is stored, the worker can recognize where the wire to be used is stored and recognize the location where the wire is to be inserted, thereby enabling the wire to be inserted directly into the connector (20) without error.
[0044] A connector mounting jig (1000) is a device in which a connector (20), having a plurality of terminal insertion holes (21) formed therein, is inserted and fixed. The connector mounting jig (1000) includes a plurality of jig light sources (1100) and a plurality of insertion sensors (1200). When the connector (20) is inserted into the connector mounting jig (1000), the plurality of jig light sources (1100) and the plurality of insertion sensors (1200) are inserted into each of the plurality of terminal insertion holes (21) of the connector (20). Additionally, the connector mounting jig (1000) may further include a pull sensor.
[0045] The jig light source (1100) is inserted into one end of each of the multiple terminal insertion holes (21) when the connector (20) is inserted into the connector mounting jig (1000). The jig light source (1100) may be any light-emitting device, but more preferably, it is composed of an LED (Light Emitting Diode). This allows for saving power consumption. When the operator inputs the product number of the product to be produced, several jig light sources (1100) are lit up according to the product.
[0046] More preferably, one of the jig light sources (1100) is turned on in accordance with the assembly order of the product, and when a wire is inserted into the connector (20), the insertion sensor (1200) senses that it is fully inserted, the turned-on jig light source (1100) is turned off. Then, another jig light source (1100) placed at the next insertion position is turned on again, and the jig light source (1100) is turned off when a wire is inserted, and this process is repeated.
[0047] When a connector (20) is inserted into a plurality of terminal insertion holes (21) in the connector mounting jig (1000), the insertion sensor (1200) is inserted into a plurality of terminal insertion holes (21) and generates an insertion signal by sensing whether a wire is inserted in each of the terminal insertion holes (21). That is, the insertion sensor (1200) is arranged in a plurality within the connector mounting jig (1000). The insertion sensor (1200) senses whether a wire is inserted and generates an insertion signal, then transmits it to the control unit (3000). The control unit (3000) turns off the illuminated jig light source (1100) and holder light source (2200), and then turns on the jig light source (1100) and holder light source (2200) in the next sequence.
[0048] More specifically, the insertion sensor (1200) includes a first inspection pin (1210) and a second inspection pin (1220). The first inspection pin (1210) and the second inspection pin (1220) are inserted into the terminal insertion hole (21) when the connector (20) is inserted and fixed in the connector seating jig (1000). When the wire inserted into the terminal insertion hole (21) is sufficiently inserted, one end of the wire comes into contact with the first inspection pin (1210) and the second inspection pin (1220). Through this, it is confirmed that the wire has been sufficiently inserted.
[0049] Additionally, the first inspection pin (1210) includes a first inspection tip (1211) and a first elastic body (1212). The first inspection tip (1211) is made of a metal material and is connected to the first elastic body (1212). Furthermore, the second inspection pin (1220) includes a second inspection tip (1221) and a second elastic body (1222). The second inspection tip (1221) is made of a metal material and is connected to the second elastic body (1222). The first inspection tip (1211) and the second inspection tip (1221) check for continuity with the wire, thereby confirming that contact has been made with the wire. In other words, it is possible to check whether it has been sufficiently inserted. At this time, since the wire may be damaged by contact with the first inspection tip (1211) and the second inspection tip (1221), the first elastic body (1212) and the second elastic body (1222) are provided so that the first inspection tip (1211) and the second inspection tip (1221) come into contact with the wire, but when force is applied, the first inspection tip (1211) and the second inspection tip (1221) retract backward to prevent damage to the wire.
[0050] The pull sensor measures the pull force applied to the connector (20), and if a pull force exceeding a certain level is measured, it transmits a pull signal to the control unit (3000). Accordingly, the control unit (3000) turns off the illuminated jig light source (1100) and holder light source (2200), and turns on the jig light source (1100) and holder light source (2200) in the next sequence.
[0051] More specifically, the connector mounting jig (1000) secures the connector (20) when the connector (20) is mounted. In this state, when a wire is inserted into the connector (20), the terminal formed at the end of the wire and the terminal insertion hole (21) of the connector (20) engage and combine. That is, when the wire is sufficiently inserted, it engages with the terminal insertion hole (21) and is secured. At this time, the operator pulls the wire again to check this. If the wire does not come off even though the operator has pulled with a force exceeding a certain level, it is fully inserted and secured; if the wire is pulled and dragged when the operator pulls the wire, it is not fully inserted. Therefore, the force with which the connector (20) is pulled is measured by a pull sensor, and whether the pulling force exceeds a certain level is sensed.
[0052] The wire storage section (2000) includes a plurality of wire mounting holders (2100) that are open at both ends and store wires inserted into terminal insertion holes (21), and a plurality of holder light sources (2200) arranged in each of the plurality of wire mounting holders (2100). Additionally, it may further include a holder insertion body (2300) having a plurality of holder insertion holes (2310) formed therein, into which the plurality of wire mounting holders (2100) are inserted diagonally into the ground and fixed.
[0053] A wire holder (2100) has both ends open and stores a wire inserted into a terminal insertion hole (21), and is arranged in multiple units in a wire storage section (2000). The wire holder (2100) is fixed by being inserted diagonally through the holder insertion body (2300) described later. Since the wire holder (2100) is inserted diagonally through, the worker can more easily store the wire inside the wire holder (2100) and more easily take out the stored wire.
[0054] The wire mounting holder (2100) may further include a position indicator (2110) that indicates the position on the connector (20) into which the wire stored inside is inserted. That is, when a worker enters a product number, the control unit (3000) causes the position indicator (2110) of the wire mounting holder (2100) to indicate the position where the wire is to be inserted.
[0055] Additionally, the wire holder (2100) further includes a wire inlet (2120), a wire outlet (2130), and an anti-tangle projection (2140). The wire inlet (2120) is located at one end of the wire holder (2100) and is an inlet through which a wire enters the interior of the wire holder (2100). The wire outlet (2130) is located at the other end of the wire holder (2100) and is an outlet through which a wire is discharged to the outside of the wire holder (2100). Furthermore, the anti-tangle projection (2140) is formed to protrude from the inner surface of the wire outlet (2130) so that the wire removed from the wire holder (2100) is discharged straight without tangling. As described above, the wire holder (2100) is arranged diagonally, and it is preferable that the wire inlet (2120) be positioned higher than the wire outlet (2130). With this structure, the operator can easily insert the wire into the wire holder (2100) and easily take it out when using it.
[0056] Additionally, the wire holder (2100) may further include an inlet slope surface (2150) positioned at the wire inlet (2120). When a worker inserts a wire into the wire holder (2100), the wire slides along the inlet slope surface (2150). Thus, the wire can be stored more easily inside the wire holder (2100).
[0057] In addition, the wire mounting holder (2100) may further include a rotation-prevention projection (2160) formed protruding from the outer surface of the wire mounting holder (2100). The rotation-prevention projection (2160) engages with a rotation-prevention groove (2320) formed in the holder insertion hole (2310) of the holder insertion body (2300) described later. Through this, the wire mounting holder (2100), which is formed in a tubular shape, can be prevented from rotating, and the wire mounting holder (2100) can be prevented from being inserted into the holder insertion body (2300). Furthermore, the wire mounting holder (2100) can be prevented from detaching from the holder insertion body (2300).
[0058] The holder light source (2200) is a light source placed in each of the plurality of wire mounting holders (2100). The holder light source (2200) may be any light-emitting device, but more preferably, it is composed of an LED (Light Emitting Diode). This allows for saving power consumption. When a worker enters a product number, the control unit (3000) turns on the holder light source (2200) placed in the corresponding wire mounting holder (2100) to indicate to the worker which wire is stored in the wire mounting holder (2100) to be inserted into the connector (20). Additionally, as described above, after confirming that the wire has been inserted into the connector (20), the lit holder light source (2200) is turned off.
[0059] The holder insertion body (2300) is fixed by inserting a plurality of wire mounting holders (2100) diagonally into the ground, and a plurality of holder insertion holes (2310) are formed so that a plurality of wire mounting holders (2100) are inserted diagonally into the ground and fixed.
[0060] The control unit (3000) is connected to the connector mounting jig (1000) and the wire storage unit (2000). When a user inputs the product number of the product to be produced, the control unit (3000) lights up the jig light source (1100) placed in the terminal insertion hole (21) into which the wire is to be inserted, and lights up the holder light source (2200) placed in the wire holder (2100) in which the wire to be inserted into the terminal insertion hole (21) is stored. Preferably, when the user inputs the product number of the product to be produced, the control unit (3000) lights up one of the plurality of jig light sources (1100) and one of the plurality of holder light sources (2200) according to the wire coupling order for each product, and repeats the process of turning off the lit jig light source (1100) and holder light source (2200) when the wire insertion into the terminal insertion hole (21) is completed.
[0061] That is, the control unit (3000) can light up a jig light source (1100) placed in a terminal insertion hole (21) into which a wire is to be inserted, and light up a holder light source (2200) placed in a wire holder (2100) in which a wire to be inserted into the terminal insertion hole (21) is stored, in accordance with the product, to indicate the wire holder (2100) in which the wire to be combined is stored, and to indicate the position where the wire is inserted and combined from the connector (20). At this time, the jig light source (1100) and the holder light source (2200) may be lit up at the same time, but it is preferable that they be lit up sequentially according to the wire combination order for each product and turned off when the combination is completed.
[0062] More specifically, according to the preferred wire connection sequence for each product number, one of the multiple jig light sources (1100) and one of the multiple holder light sources (2200) are illuminated, and the operator can recognize their respective positions, allowing the operator to easily insert and connect wires into the connector (20) without checking the product assembly manual. When the operator inserts a wire into the connector (20), the insertion sensor (1200) and the pull sensor described above identify that the wire has been inserted into the terminal insertion hole (21) of the connector (20), and the control unit (3000) turns off the illuminated jig light source (1100) and holder light source (2200). Subsequently, the holder light source (2200) of the wire holder (2100) in which the wire to be inserted next is stored is illuminated, and the jig light source (1100) placed in the terminal insertion hole (21) to be inserted next is illuminated. This process is repeated until all assembly work is completed.
[0063] That is, the control unit (3000) is connected to the connector mounting jig (1000), the wire storage unit (2000), and the monitor (5000) described later, and controls a series of operations.
[0064] Additionally, the jig light source (1100) and the holder light source (2200) may not be lit sequentially but may be lit simultaneously. In this case, it is preferable that the corresponding jig light source (1100) and the holder light source (2200) each light up with the same color. Through this, even if multiple jig light sources (1100) and holder light sources (2200) are lit up simultaneously, they are matched with the same color, allowing the operator to easily distinguish the location where the wire is to be inserted. To achieve this, it is preferable that the jig light source (1100) and the holder light source (2200) be composed of multiple LEDs that emit different colors. Since they are composed of multiple LEDs that emit different colors, the jig light source (1100) and the holder light source (2200) can implement various colors. Multiple jig light sources (1100) can emit different colors simultaneously, and multiple holder light sources (2200) can also emit different colors simultaneously, and the jig light source (1100) and the corresponding holder light source (2200) can emit the same color, so that they can correspond one-to-one through color.
[0065] On the main workbench (4000), the connector mounting jig (2000) is positioned on the front surface, and the wire storage section (1000) is positioned on the upper surface facing the front. Additionally, the main workbench (4000) may further include an auxiliary workbench (4100) formed in a plate shape, which is attached to the lower side of the connector mounting jig (1000) on the front surface of the main workbench (4000). Furthermore, it may further include a wire organizer (4200) formed in a concave shape on the upper surface, which is attached to the lower side of the connector mounting jig (1000) on the front surface of the main workbench (4000). That is, each component of the wire insertion guide device is arranged around the main workbench (4000).
[0066] At this time, the direction in which the wire storage unit (1000) faces, the front of the main work table (4000), and the front of the auxiliary work table (4100) all refer to the same direction, and represent the place where a worker is positioned and assembly is performed.
[0067] The auxiliary workbench (4100) is attached to the lower side of the connector mounting jig (1000) on the front of the main workbench (4000). It is preferable that the auxiliary workbench (4100) be formed in the shape of a flat plate so that various tools used by the worker can be placed on it.
[0068] Additionally, the auxiliary workbench (4100) may further include a wire receiving hole (4110) formed through the upper surface of the auxiliary workbench (4100) to receive a wire inserted into the connector (20). When a plurality of wires are inserted into the connector (20), a bundle of wires is formed, and the wires can be placed into the wire receiving hole (4110) to align them neatly.
[0069] Additionally, the auxiliary workbench (4100) may further include a wire receiving hole insertion opening (4120) that is formed by being recessed at the front of the auxiliary workbench (4100), communicates with the wire receiving hole (4110), and allows the wire inserted into the connector (20) to be inserted through the front direction of the auxiliary workbench (4100). Through this, the workability of the worker can be improved. This is because, from the worker's perspective, when inserting a bundle of wires into the wire receiving hole (4110), inserting it through the wire receiving hole insertion opening (4120) formed in the front direction of the auxiliary workbench (4100) where the worker is sitting is more efficient than inserting it in the upper direction of the auxiliary workbench (4100).
[0070] In addition, the auxiliary workbench (4100) includes a spring hinge (4131) attached to the wire receiving hole insertion port (4120) and a wire receiving hole insertion port cover plate (4132) attached to the spring hinge (4131), and may further include a wire receiving hole insertion port opening / closing device (4130) for opening and closing the wire receiving hole insertion port (4120). That is, the wire receiving hole insertion port (4120) can be opened and closed by the wire receiving hole insertion port opening / closing device (4130). More specifically, since the spring hinge (4131) is used, the worker can push the wire bundle toward the wire receiving hole insertion port cover plate (4132), easily open the wire receiving hole insertion port cover plate (4132), and insert the wire bundle into the wire receiving hole (4110).
[0071] The wire organizer (4200) is attached to the lower side of the connector mounting jig (1000) on the front of the main work table (4000) and has an upper surface formed in a concave shape to store the end of the wire inserted and connected to the connector (20). That is, in order to prevent damage to the end of the wire inserted into the connector (20) due to reasons such as touching the floor or being stepped on while moving by a worker, the end of the wire inserted into the connector (20) is placed on the wire organizer (4200) to be received.
[0072] The monitor (5000) is connected to the control unit (3000) and displays the location of the terminal insertion hole (21) into which the wire is to be inserted, and whether the wire is fully inserted. In addition, it can display various information such as the product name and product number. Furthermore, it displays various information necessary for the work to the operator. Additionally, the monitor (5000) includes a touchscreen and can operate as an input device while displaying information. That is, the operator can touch the monitor (5000) to input necessary information (e.g., product number, etc.) to the control unit (3000).
[0073] An embodiment of the present invention can be expected to have various effects including the following according to the above configuration. However, the present invention is not required to exhibit all of the following effects.
[0074] First, by means of the jig light source (1100) of the connector mounting jig (1000) and the holder light source (2200) of the wire storage unit (2000), the wire can be connected to the connector (20) without looking at the assembly manual.
[0075] In addition, when insertion is complete, the illuminated jig light source (1100) and holder light source (2200) can be turned off to further improve workability.
[0076] In addition, the wire can be easily stored and taken out and used by means of the wire inlet (2120), wire outlet (2130), anti-tangle projection (2140) and inlet slope surface (2150) of the wire holder (2100).
