Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a resin dispensing device for dispensing a high-viscosity solution, such as high-viscosity epoxy or resin, for fixing components such as chips or ICs on a printed circuit board used in electronic devices such as home appliances and communication devices. For example, the invention relates to a resin dispensing device that can prevent leakage of resin by maintaining a constant gap between the nozzle and the screw, as well as improving the ease of dispensing the high-viscosity solution. Background Technology
[0002] Dispensers are devices used in various industrial fields.
[0003] In particular, it is utilized in smartphone, automobile, and semiconductor processes, and as dust and moisture protection requirements increase, processes using dispensers are being added.
[0004] For example, resin dispensing devices (dispensers) are being commercialized with various technologies for processes such as dispensing a viscous solution (resin), such as epoxy resin, to mount surface mount components (chips, ICs) on a printed circuit board (PCB), or underfilling a flip chip by coating and encapsulating the perimeter of a chip to protect the semiconductor device from the external environment.
[0005] In particular, resin dispensing devices used for surface mounting, such as semiconductor chips, must ensure the accuracy and speed of solution distribution, and accurately dispense a precise amount of resin during dispensing to reduce the defect rate. Additionally, operation for repetitive high-speed solution dispensing due to long-term use and high-degree repetitive operation to dispense the same amount of material or area within a very small tolerance range are required.
[0006] In such a resin application device, the amount of resin (adhesive) applied needs to be changed according to the size of the part, and the appropriate amount must be applied. If the amount of applied resin is too small, it fails to fulfill the role of fixing the part, whereas if the amount of applied resin is too large, the adhesive may flow onto the soldering land, causing an obstruction to soldering and also causing a failure to obtain a good electrical connection.
[0007] In addition, adhesives such as resin can have varying viscosity depending on temperature, so the amount applied may change with temperature variations. Accordingly, if precise control of the application amount is required, the resin application device may be equipped to control the application amount by controlling the temperature of the adhesive.
[0008] In addition, the setting conditions of the resin application device vary depending on the viscosity, thixotropy (shape retention), flow characteristics, temperature stability, and adhesiveness of the applied adhesive (resin), but the most important factors are the application pressure and application time (application speed), which have the greatest influence.
[0009] There are various methods for dispensing resin using such resin dispensing devices, such as a method of pushing and dispensing resin through the rotation of a screw, and a method of using a rod instead of a screw to push and dispense resin by the up-and-down movement of the rod.
[0010] The two methods above have the advantage of allowing the resin to be applied evenly in a stream form, and the advantage of reducing the phenomenon of the resin splashing to locations other than the application location.
[0011] As an example of such a resin coating device, one may refer to Korean domestic application No. 10-2008-0104733 (filed on Oct. 24, 2008).
[0012] The above prior art discloses a resin coating device having a structure capable of vertical movement by means of a spring. In such a structure equipped with a spring, the position of the screw may change upward or downward by a predetermined amount due to the spring. Accordingly, the variation in the position of the screw causes a change in the gap between the nozzle and the screw, and there is a problem in that it is difficult to maintain the consistency of the gap between the nozzle and the screw.
[0013] In addition, the use of screws leads to a complex structure and an increase in the number of components constituting the system, resulting in difficulties in assembly and maintenance.
[0014] Therefore, there is a need for a resin dispensing device that prevents the up-and-down movement of the screw, thereby maintaining a constant gap between the nozzle and the screw, and thus allowing a constant amount of resin to be dispensed. Prior art literature
[0015] Korean Patent Application No. 10-2008-0104733 (October 24, 2008) The problem to be solved
[0016] The technical problem that the present invention aims to solve is to provide a resin application device that can limit the vertical movement of a screw that implements resin application by forming a certain gap with the nozzle of the resin application device, and can maintain the gap between the nozzle and the screw in an assembled state.
[0017] In addition, the technical problem that the present invention aims to solve is to provide a resin coating device in which bearings are arranged in multiple rows in the vertical direction, and problems caused by mechanical friction with other parts due to tilt and eccentricity resulting from the rotation of the screw can be prevented.
[0018] In addition, the technical problem that the present invention aims to solve is to provide a resin coating device that can prevent the parts implementing the screw rotation from wearing out due to friction by limiting the vertical movement of the parts implementing the screw rotation, and can improve the durability of the screw by reducing friction between the screw and the resin filler (e.g., alumina powder).
[0019] In addition, the technical problem that the present invention aims to solve is to provide a resin application device that can reduce resin leakage by maintaining a constant gap between the nozzle and the screw and prevent resin from flowing at unwanted locations.
[0020] The problems that the present invention aims to solve are not limited to those mentioned above, and other unmentioned problems will be clearly understood by those skilled in the art from the description below. means of solving the problem

[0069] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the housing (110) may include a first housing (111), a second housing (112), and a fixed coupling member (113).
[0070] The first housing (111) is formed in a cylindrical shape and may be configured to form the chamber (112a) inside it and to accommodate the screw member (130) inside it. The space between the chamber (112a) and the screw member (130) may form a flow path (P) capable of moving resin.
[0071] The second housing (112) is provided on the outside of the first housing (111) to fix the first housing (111) and may be provided to fix the frame (10) and the syringe (20) that supplies the resin.
[0072] A first hole may be formed on one side (e.g., side) of the first housing (111). The first hole may be located on the upper part of the screw thread (131a), and a conduit (21) of the syringe (20), which will be described later, is connected to the first hole so that resin flowing in through the conduit (21) can be introduced into the chamber (112a).
[0073] A second hole may be formed on one side (e.g., side) of the second housing (112) to be connected to the first hole. When the first housing (111) is seated in the mounting position of the second housing (112), the first hole formed on the side of the first housing (111) and the second hole formed on the side of the second housing (112) may be connected to each other. The conduit (21) of the syringe (20) may be connected through the first hole and the second hole, and the conduit (21) of the syringe (20) may be provided to be connected to the chamber (112a).
[0074] The fixed coupling member (113) may be provided to be engaged with the first housing (111) through the second housing (112) to fix the first housing (111) and the second housing (112). A hole through which the fixed coupling member (113) passes may be formed on one side of the second housing (112), and a predetermined groove may be formed in the first housing (111) corresponding to the hole, so that the fixed coupling member (113) may be seated in the groove through the hole, thereby allowing the first housing (111) to be fixed to the second housing (112). In one embodiment of the present invention, the fixed coupling member (113) is described as being fixed by being seated into the groove of the first housing (111) through the hole of the second housing (112), but it is not limited thereto, and any change or modification is possible as long as the structure can fix the first housing (111) and the second housing (112).
[0075] The nozzle member (120) can be positioned and coupled to the lower part of the housing (110) and can form a discharge channel (121a) for discharging the resin.
[0076] FIG. 8 is an enlarged view of the flow path (P) formed by the combination of the nozzle member (120) and the screw (131) in a resin coating device (100) according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 9 is a combined perspective view of the screw member (130) and the fixing member in a resin coating device (100) according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 10 is an exploded perspective view of the screw member (130) and the fixing member (140) in a resin coating device (100) according to an embodiment of the present invention.
[0077] Referring to FIGS. 8 to 10, the nozzle member (120) may be coupled to the housing (110) and configured to be coupled variably in the vertical direction in the housing (110). The nozzle member (120) may be configured so that the coupling position in the vertical direction in the housing (110) can be varied, thereby allowing the size of the gap (t) for the flow of the resin between the front of the screw member (130) and the nozzle member (120) to be adjusted.
[0078] In the present invention, the nozzle member (120) may include a nozzle (121) and a variable housing (122).
[0079] The nozzle (121) may form a discharge channel (121a) to discharge the resin into its inner side. The nozzle (121) is provided to be caught in the inner lower part of the housing (110), and the front part of the nozzle (121) may be positioned to be exposed to the lower outer side of the housing (110). Depending on the connection of the housing (110), the upper part of the nozzle (121) may be provided to have a predetermined gap (t) with the end of the screw member (130). Through the gap (t) between the upper part of the nozzle (121) and the end of the screw member (130), the amount of resin flowing along the channel (P) of the screw member (130) discharged can be controlled according to the gap (t).
[0080] The variable housing (122) is coupled to the front end of the housing (110), specifically the first housing (111), and may be provided to secure the nozzle (121) to be coupled to the housing (110). The variable housing (122) may be rotatably coupled in an upward or downward direction along the coupling thread (131a) on the outer surface of the housing (110) while seating the nozzle (121) inside it. As the variable housing (122) rotates on the thread (131a) of the housing (110), specifically the first housing (111), the position coupled to the first housing (111) can be adjusted upward and downward. Accordingly, the size of the gap (t) between the nozzle (121) and the front end of the screw member (130), specifically the screw (131) described later, can be adjusted.
[0081] The screw member (130) rotates around an axis along the inner side of the housing (110) and forms a screw thread (131a) that contacts the inner surface of the chamber (112a), thereby forming the resin flow path (P) between the screw threads (131a). Additionally, the size of the gap (t) between the nozzle (121) and the screw member (130), specifically the screw (131) described later, can be adjusted according to the rotation of the screw member (130). Furthermore, in order to restrict the vertical movement of the screw member (130) so that the gap (t) does not fluctuate when the resin is discharged while the gap (t) is set, the screw member (130) may be fixed by a fixing member (140) described later together with a bearing member (160) described later.
[0082] First, the screw member (130) may include a screw (131), a screw rotating member (132), and a bearing member (160).
[0083] The screw (131) is seated in the chamber (112a) and may be configured to rotate by forming the screw thread (131a) on its outer surface.
[0084] The screw threads (131a) of the screw (131) may come into contact with the wall of the inner chamber (112a) of the first housing (111), and the grooves between the screw threads (131a) may form a flow path (P) for the resin. That is, the resin introduced through the conduit (21) connected to the first hole at the top of the screw threads (131a) may be introduced into the discharge flow path (121a) of the nozzle (121) while moving through the grooves from the top to the bottom of the screw threads (131a).
[0085] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the screw (131) may be formed in a '+' shape and may be divided into a front end and a rear end centered on a horizontal projection. The screw thread (131a) described above may be formed on the front end side of the screw (131), and an insert part (131b) that can be coupled and fixed to a screw rotating member (132) described later may be formed on the rear end side of the screw (131). A plurality of guide grooves may be formed in the axial direction on the outer surface of the insert part (131b). The guide grooves may be provided to engage with guide projections formed on the inner surface of the screw rotating member (132) described later, so that the screw (131) and the screw rotating member (132) can rotate together.
[0086] Additionally, the end of the front portion of the screw (131) may be formed in a 'V' shape, and the upper portion of the nozzle (121) may be formed in a 'V' shape with a gap (t) spaced apart from the front portion of the screw (131). In one embodiment of the present invention, the end of the front portion of the screw (131) and the lower portion of the chamber (112a) are each formed in a 'V' shape, but this is not limited thereto. Any shape that can form a gap (t) between the front portion of the screw (131) and the nozzle (121) and form a certain gap (t) for discharging resin can be modified or changed.
[0087] The screw rotating member (132) may be coupled to the upper part of the screw (131) and configured to rotate together with the screw (131). The screw rotating member (132) may be exposed to the upper part of the housing (110) while seated inside the housing (110). A bearing member (160) and a bearing support member (162), which will be described later, may be provided on the outer side of the screw rotating member (132).
[0088] A groove (132a) is formed in the front portion of the screw rotating member (132), and the insert portion (131b) described above can be inserted into the groove portion (132a). Additionally, a guide projection may be formed along the axial direction of the inner surface of the groove portion (132a) to engage with the guide groove. Accordingly, when the insert portion (131b) of the screw (131) is inserted into the groove portion (132a) of the screw rotating member (132) and the guide projection engages with the guide groove, they can be coupled and fixed. That is, the screw (131) and the screw rotating member (132) are configured to rotate together during rotational driving through axial coupling.
[0089] Additionally, the screw rotating member (132) may have a structure in which it is fixed to the fixed member (140) at the top of the housing (110) together with the bearing support member (162) described later. Accordingly, the screw member (130) may be able to rotate, but its movement in the vertical direction may be restricted.
[0090] The bearing member (160) may include a bearing (161) and a bearing support member (162). The bearing (161) may be positioned between the upper inner surface of the housing (110) and the outer surface of the screw rotating member (132) to control friction during rotation of the screw member (130).
[0091] The bearing support member (162) is provided to protrude from the inner side of the housing (110) to the upper outer side of the housing (110), and can be provided so as to insert the screw rotating member (132) into the inner side and to support the bearing (161) fitted around its outer circumference.
[0092] Additionally, the screw (131) support member is inserted into the inner side of the bearing support member (162), and the combined bearing support member (162) and the screw (131) support member may be provided to protrude from the inner side of the housing (110) to the upper outer side of the housing (110).
[0093] In addition, the bearing member, particularly the bearing support member (162), may have a structure in which it is fixed together with the screw member (130), specifically the screw rotating member (132), by the fixing member (140) described later at the top of the housing (110).
[0094] The fixed member (140) may be mounted so as to be seated on the upper part, specifically the top, of the housing (110), and may be provided to restrict the vertical movement of the screw member (130) when the screw member (130) of the housing (110) is rotated. The fixed member (140) may be provided at the top of the housing (110) to fix together with the bearing support member (162) into which the screw rotation member (132), which is exposed to the outside of the housing (110), is fitted, thereby restricting the vertical movement of the screw rotation member (132).
[0095] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the fixing member (140) may be described as being provided as a clamp member by a set screw (131) that fixes the screw rotating member (132) and the bearing support member (162).
[0096] The clamp member may include a disc-shaped clamp (141) and a connecting pin (142).
[0097] The disc-shaped clamp (141) is provided on the upper surface of the housing (110), and may be provided with a seating hole to allow the bearing support member (162), which is exposed above the housing (110), to be inserted. On the inner circumference of the disc-shaped clamp (141) where the seating hole is formed, mutually opposing surfaces may have recessed fixing guide grooves (141a). The ends of the coupling pins (142), which will be described later, may be inserted into and fixed in the fixing guide grooves (141a).
[0098] The coupling pin (142) is provided to penetrate the bearing support member (162) and the screw rotating member (132), and both ends of the coupling pin (142) may be provided to be fitted into the fixed guide groove (141a).
[0099] Accordingly, when the coupling pin (142) penetrates the bearing support member (162) and the screw rotating member (132), both ends of the coupling pin (142) may protrude a predetermined amount to the outside of the outer surface of the bearing support member (162). In this state, as the bearing support member (162) is fitted into the seating hole of the disc-shaped clamp (141), the ends of the coupling pin (142) are fitted into the fixing guide groove (141a) formed on the inner surface of the disc-shaped clamp (141). As a result, the fixing member (140) is seated on the upper part of the housing (110), thereby enabling the bearing support member (162) and the screw rotating member (132) to be fixed together.
[0100] In contrast, the above-mentioned fixing member (140) may be provided only with a fixing pin that penetrates and fixes the screw rotating member (132) and the bearing support member (162).
[0101] In one embodiment of the present invention, the fixing member (140) is described as a clamp member or a fixing pin formed by a set screw (131), but it is not limited thereto. Any configuration in which the fixing member (140) is positioned at the top of the housing (110) to restrict the vertical movement of the screw member (130) can be changed or modified.
