Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a management system for substitute currency for amusement, which prevents fraudulent substitute currency from being used in an amusement area in a casino or other game facility using substitute currency for amusement. Background Technology
[0002] Among the many table games played in amusement facilities such as casinos are Baccarat and Blackjack. In casinos, substitute currency is used for these games.
[0003] The use of fraudulent organic substitute currency must not occur in casinos. To prevent the use of counterfeit organic substitute currency in casinos, there is a technology available that attaches RFID tags to organic substitute currency to determine its authenticity and prevent the use of counterfeit goods. Organic substitute currency with attached RFID is publicly known and is disclosed in Patent Document 1 (International Application Publication No. WO2008 / 120749). Prior art literature
[0004] International Application Publication No. WO2008 / 120749 The problem to be solved
[0005] In organic substitute currency based on conventional technology, it was possible to determine the authenticity of the organic substitute currency itself by identifying information stored in the memory area through RFID reading. However, it was not possible to record or determine information obtained while being used at the casino, particularly information regarding the holder of the organic substitute currency. Consequently, organic substitute currency that is genuine but has an unusual history in terms of usage—such as being used or exchanged by a holder different from the original holder—could not have its existence detected by RFID reading, and thus it was not possible to prevent such organic substitute currency with an unusual history from being used in the casino.
[0006] Therefore, the present invention aims to provide a system that enables identifying and recording to which player the ownership of said organic substitute currency has been transferred when a dealer pays an organic substitute currency to a player and the holder of said organic substitute currency is transferred from the casino to the player, in order to always identify and manage information on the holder of each organic substitute currency and to enhance security. means of solving the problem
[0007] In order to solve the above conventional problems, the management system of the organic substitute currency of the present invention is,
[0008] Organic substitute currency equipped with individually identifiable RFID, and
[0009] An organic table for conducting a game using the above-mentioned organic substitute currency, and
[0010] In the above-mentioned organic table, a chip placement area on which betting chips placed by a player participating in the game and payment chips paid by a dealer from the chip tray of the above-mentioned organic table are placed, and
[0011] A chip reader for reading the RFID of an organic substitute currency placed in the above-mentioned chip placement area, and
[0012] A control device for determining the reading result of the above-mentioned chip reading device is provided, and
[0013] The above control device can acquire information regarding the holder of said organic substitute currency based on the RFID ID information of said organic substitute currency, and
[0014] In addition, the control device is configured to recognize that the winning player's betting chip and the payment chip paid to the winning player move out of the chip placement area, and to associate the ID information of the payment chip with the ID information of the betting chip that moved out of the chip placement area at the same timing as the payment chip in a database.
[0015] The system is equipped with a function that associates the information regarding the holder of the betting chip, represented by the RFID of the betting chip, with the ID information of the RFID of the payment chip in a database.
[0016] Additionally, the chip placement area is configured to be partitioned for each player position, and each player position is equipped with a pay area for placing the payment chips.
[0017] The above chip reading device may be configured to be capable of distinguishing and reading the pay area for each player position. Brief explanation of the drawing

[0019] (First embodiment)
[0020] The overall overview of the table game management system of the first embodiment of the present invention is explained using FIG. 1. FIG. 1 is a diagram showing the overall overview of the system. For each player position (1131 to 1135) of the organic table (1004) for a baccarat game, there are betting areas for Player (1441), Banker (1442), Tie (1443), Player Pair (1444), and Banker Pair (1445). In addition, a chip placement area (1025) is formed for each player position, and a chip reader (1002) is provided to read the RFID of the organic substitute currency (1001) placed within the chip placement area.
[0021] Additionally, within each chip placement area (1025), there is a pay area (1026) for placing the substitute currency (1001) taken from the chip tray (1009) when the dealer pays the substitute currency (1001) for the winning player from the chip tray (1009) of the game table (1004).
[0022] Additionally, a control device (1003) is further provided to determine the reading result of the RFID of the organic substitute currency (1001) read by the chip reader (1002).
[0023] At first, the player participating in the game places an organic substitute currency (1001) in the betting area within the chip placement area. By the chip reader (1002) reading the RFID of the bet on the organic substitute currency (1001), the control device (1003) identifies information regarding the holder of the organic substitute currency (1001) that is associated with the ID information of the said RFID in the database.
[0024] Based on the result of the game, if the casino side wins, the dealer retrieves the organic substitute currency (1001) bet by the losing player and places it in the chip tray (1009). The RFID of the organic substitute currency (1001) in the chip tray (1009) is identified by the chip reader (1002), and by the control device (1003), it is recorded in the database that the holder of the organic substitute currency (1001) retrieved by the casino side is the casino.
[0025] Based on the result of the game, for the winning player, the dealer pays the winning player an amount of organic substitute currency (1001) corresponding to the amount of the betting chips from the chip tray according to the rules of the game.
[0026] When making a payment, the payment chip may be placed in the payment area (1026) described above, or in a chip placement area other than the payment area.
[0027] Here, a method for recording information about the holder of a payment chip is explained using FIG. 2. FIG. 2 illustrates a method for recording information about the holder of an organic substitute currency (1001) when paying chips to a winning player.
[0028] When multiple players place betting chips within the same player position and there are two or more stacks, the chip reader (1002) reads the organic substitute currency (1001) placed within the chip placement area (1025) collectively. Therefore, during the game, the ID (1010) of the bet organic substitute currency is obtained without determining which organic substitute currency (1001) belongs to which player. When making a payment to the winning player after the game's outcome is determined, the dealer makes a payment from the chip tray (1009) for each player (for each stack). The organic substitute currency (1001) taken from the chip tray (1009) is placed within the chip placement area (1025). The chip reader (1002) reads the ID (1011) of the payment chip placed within the chip placement area (1025).
[0029] The paid organic substitute currency (1001) is received by the winning player along with the organic substitute currency (1001) initially bet. At this time, since the betting chip and the pay chip are moved out of the chip placement area (1025), the IDs of the betting chip and the pay chip are removed from the reading result by the chip reader (1002). Thus, the control device (1003) identifies which player the paid pay chip was paid to by associating it with information regarding the holder of the betting chip.
[0030] The control device (1003) stores information about the holder of the identified payment chip in the database in association with the ID of the corresponding organic substitute currency.
[0031] By the above, traceability of the holder of the organic substitute currency (1001) is made possible, and in the event of fraudulent receipt or transfer of the organic substitute currency (1001), it is possible to discover that the holder information stored in the database is different from the actual holder.
[0032] In addition, the actual holder can be identified by using facial recognition technology or an ID such as a membership card.
[0033] In addition, although the ID of each organic substitute currency is managed in the database in the above description, the configuration may also store holder information in the organic substitute currency (1001) itself.
[0034] In addition, the above-described pay area (1026) may be configured independently of each player position, in addition to being present at each player position, and may be a specification in which reading by the chip reader (1002) is also performed independently.
[0035] In addition, depending on the reading performance of the chip reader (1002), the configuration may also be such that the pay area (1026) can be selected for use or not use.
[0036] In addition, the table game management system may also be configured to be connected with an RFID reader that reads chips in a chip tray (1009) using RFID, a camera that reads betting chips, and a win / loss result determination device such as a shoe that determines the win / loss result of the game, so that information can be used with each other.
[0037] (Second embodiment)
[0038] First, an organic substitute currency used in the management system of an embodiment of the present invention is described. FIG. 3 shows an organic substitute currency (1) used in the said system. In the said figure, an RFID tag (2) capable of storing various information is embedded in the organic substitute currency (1). The RFID tag (2) has an area (21) where data cannot be rewritten and an area (22) where data can be rewritten.
[0039] In the area (21) where data cannot be re-entered, fixed information (3) is stored, which is information that is not changed, information that is not changed, or information that must not be changed while the organic substitute currency (1) is in use. Specifically, as fixed information (3), production information, product information, casino information, amount information, serial number, etc. of the organic substitute currency (1) are stored. Production information includes the date and time the organic substitute currency was manufactured, the manufacturing machine, etc. Product information includes, for example, information indicating that it is a chip for the VIP area of a casino, or information indicating the type of chip (for example, information indicating that it is a rolling chip or a cash chip).
[0040] The area (21) where data cannot be rewritten may be an area where data cannot be written functionally according to the specifications of the RFID tag, or it may be an area that is locked so that data cannot be written after the necessary information has been written in the area where data can be written.
[0041] In the area (22) where data can be re-entered, information that changes while the organic substitute currency (1) is in use is stored as change information (4). For example, as change information (4), information regarding location (220) is stored, including information regarding time (221), information regarding place or event (222), information regarding holder (223), etc., as shown in FIG. 3.
[0042] Fixed information (3) and variable information (4) may be encrypted to prevent unauthorized reading or writing of the information by others. Also, fixed information (3) and variable information (4) may be stored as metadata.
[0043] FIG. 4 illustrates an example of a method for recording data of fluctuation information (4) of organic substitute currency (1). As shown in FIG. 4, information regarding location (220), consisting of time information (221), place information (222), and holder information (223), is formed into a block, and the information of said block is connected in a chain so that the history of information regarding location (220) of said organic substitute currency (1) can be identified.
[0044] FIG. 4 shows an example of change information (4) stored in organic substitute currency (1), and the movement of organic substitute currency (1) as follows can be observed. At 16:02 on January 28, 2019, Mr. A exchanges cash and organic substitute currency (1) at the cage (5). At 16:15 on the same day, Mr. A places a bet using organic substitute currency (1) at Table No. 325. At 16:43 on the same day, Mr. B receives organic substitute currency (1) as a winning bet at Table No. 325. At 17:01 on the same day, Mr. B leaves the casino with organic substitute currency (1).
[0045] The change information (4) may be configured to store only the latest information, or it may store information regarding all materials that have been entered. Also, as shown in FIG. 4, it may be configured to store a few of the information regarding multiple materials. When storing a few, it may store information regarding multiple materials including at least the latest information regarding materials (220) among the information regarding all materials (220). With the above configuration, the history of use or movement of said organic substitute currency (1) can be known from the change information (4) of said organic substitute currency (1). That is, the traceability information of said organic substitute currency (1) is stored in said organic substitute currency (1) itself and is configured to be identifiable.
[0046] Next, the management system of the organic substitute currency (1) of the present embodiment will be described. FIG. 5 shows an overall overview of the system.
[0047] In the organic substitute currency (1), first, in the factory (6), by the entry device (14), change information (4) including information on completion of manufacturing or factory shipment is entered into the area (22) where data of the RFID tag (2) can be re-entered as information (220) regarding the material.
[0048] Organic substitute currency (1) shipped from the factory (6) is received and processed at the casino's backyard (7). At the backyard (7), a reading device (13) reads the change information (4) stored in the area (22) where data of the organic substitute currency (1) can be re-entered, and based on the reading result, the management control device (15) determines whether the information regarding the material (220) indicating that it was entered at the factory (6) as the information that should be entered is entered as the latest change information (4). If there is no entry record from the factory (6), an error signal is generated as the organic substitute currency suspected of fraud. This makes it possible for the casino to refuse to accept the said organic substitute currency or to request an investigation from the factory. If there is no problem with the entry record, information (220) regarding the material representing the backyard is entered by the entry device (14) into the area (22) where data of the RFID tag (2) can be re-entered. When entering, the material information representing the backyard may be entered in addition to the material information representing the factory, or the material information representing the factory may be deleted and the material information representing the backyard may be entered. Also, the reading or entry of the organic substitute currency in the backyard (7) described above may be performed together with the normal validation or activation work of the organic substitute currency.
[0049] Organic substitute currency (1) that has completed acceptance inspection in the backyard (7) is transported to the casino's warehouse (8) or cage (9). In the warehouse (8) or cage (9), a reading device (13) reads the change information (4) stored in the area (22) where the data of the organic substitute currency (1) can be re-entered, and based on the reading result, the management control device (15) determines whether the information regarding the material (220) indicating that it was entered in the backyard (7) as the information that should be entered is entered as the latest change information (4). In addition, it may also inspect whether information indicating the factory (6) is entered in the history of the change information (4). The management control device (15) determines whether there is no abnormality in the history of the material information, in the same way as the inspection in the backyard (7) mentioned above. If there is no problem with the reading result, the writing device (14) writes information (22) regarding the material representing the warehouse (8) or cage (9) in the area (22) where data can be rewritten.
[0050] The player purchases organic substitute currency (1) from the cage (9). When the player purchases the organic substitute currency (1), information indicating the time the organic substitute currency was purchased and that the holder of the organic substitute currency has changed from a customer to a customer at the casino is entered as change information (4) by the entry device (14) in the cage (9). The player may be configured to be specifically recorded by facial recognition technology or by an ID card such as a casino member card or a My Number card.
[0051] The player places a bet by using the exchanged organic substitute currency (1) and placing the organic substitute currency (1) in the betting area (11) on the organic table. The reading device (13) reads information regarding the location (220), which consists of time information (221), place information (222), and holder information (223), from the RFID tag (2) of the bet on the organic substitute currency (1), and the management control device (15) determines whether there is an abnormality. For example, if a certain period of time has elapsed since the last recorded information on use on the organic table or exchange information on the cage, or if the holder information (223) stored in the organic substitute currency (1) is different from the holder information (223) specified by face authentication or an ID card, it can be determined that there is an abnormality.
[0052] If there is no problem with the reading result, for the bet on the organic substitute currency (1), the entry device (14) additionally enters information regarding the location (220) in the area (22) where data can be re-entered. The information regarding the location (220) includes information regarding the date and time (221), information regarding the location and event (222), and information regarding the holder (223). On the table, for example, change information (4) including the player position number where the organic substitute currency (1) is placed and player information is entered by the entry device (14). Player information may be identified by an ID card or facial authentication. Normally, since multiple organic substitute currency (1) are stacked and placed in the betting area (11), the entry is performed collectively while they are stacked.
[0053] When the player takes out organic substitute currency (1) from the casino floor, the exit process is performed at the gate (10). When exiting, information (220) regarding the location is read by the reading device (13), and the management control device (15) determines whether there is any abnormality in the change information (4). Also, at the gate (10), the entry device (14) enters the change information (4) including the location indicating the exit, event information (222), and holder information (223).
[0054] When a player brings in previously removed substitute currency (1) upon entering the casino floor, information regarding the location is read by a reading device (13), and a management control device (15) determines whether there is any abnormality in the change information (4). For example, regarding substitute currency (1) that was once removed from the casino, if the holder at the time of exiting the casino and the holder at the time of entry are different, it can be determined that there was an act of receiving substitute currency outside the casino.
[0055] The management control device (15) described above may output an alarm to the cage (9) or gate (10) when the judgment based on the reading result of the reading device (13) is abnormal. When the holder of the said organic substitute currency (1) exchanges money at the cage (9) or exits from the gate (10), the exchange may be refused based on the alarm output by the management control device (15), or an individual check may be performed upon exit. Additionally, when the judgment result is abnormal, the management control device (15) may send a warning to the dealer of each organic table to stop the game or send a warning to the pit, so that the pit manager may make a judgment such as stopping or continuing the game, or make a decision such as exchanging the organic substitute currency (1). Alternatively, the management control device (15) may be connected to the overall management control device (18) of the casino and configured to send a warning to the overall management control device (18).
[0056] The management control device (15) may similarly determine an abnormality by reading the change information (4) by the reading device (13) when a refund is made in the cage. Specifically, an abnormality may be determined when a certain period of time has elapsed since the last recorded information on use in the organic table or the information on refund in the cage, or when a person different from the holder information (223) stored in the organic substitute currency (1) attempts to make a refund. When an abnormality is determined, the management control device (15) may output a warning and refuse to refund the organic substitute currency (1) that was determined to be abnormal.
[0057] Also, in the above description, reading by the reading device (13) and writing by the writing device (14) after judgment by the management control device were described, but the configuration may also be one in which reading and writing are performed simultaneously.
[0058] Details of an application embodiment of the present invention are described below.
[0059] At the factory (6), when production is completed or when shipment is made, the RFID tag (2) is read and / or entered. The entry device (14) enters production information or product information as fixed information (3), and, as necessary, enters change information (4) while locking it so that it cannot be re-entered.
[0060] In the backyard (6), when receiving organic substitute currency (1) shipped from the factory and activating it as usable organic substitute currency (1), reading and / or writing of the RFID tag (2) is performed.
[0061] In the warehouse (8), when moving organic substitute currency (1) from the warehouse (8) to the cage (9) or moving organic substitute currency (1) from the cage (9) to the warehouse (8), reading and / or writing of the RFID tag (2) is performed. Alternatively, for organic substitute currency (1) stored in the warehouse (8), reading and / or writing of the RFID tag (2) may be performed at regular intervals or at a predetermined timing.
[0062] In the cage (9), reading and / or recording of the RFID tag (2) is performed during movement from or to the warehouse (8), and during the exchange of the customer's cash and organic substitute currency (1). When an exchange is performed in the cage (9), the location indicating the exchange, event information (222), and information of the player who performed the exchange are recorded as change information (4) as holder information (223). The holder information (223) can be obtained from the player's casino ID card, facial recognition system, credit card, etc.
[0063] At the gate (10), when a player enters or exits, the RFID tag (2) is read and / or entered. When a player exits, for all organic substitute currency (1) that is taken out of the casino, the location and event information (222) indicating the exit and the holder information (223) indicating the player taking out are entered as change information (4) to register the organic substitute currency (1) brought into the casino in the same way when entering, the location and event information (222) indicating the entry and the holder information (223) indicating the player bringing in are entered as change information (4).
[0064] In the betting area (11), reading and / or writing of an RFID tag (2) is performed on the organic substitute currency (1) placed in the betting area (11) by a player to participate in the betting. Also, as a redemption for the player, reading and / or writing of an RFID tag (2) is performed on the organic substitute currency (1) placed in the betting area (11) by the dealer.
[0065] In the chip tray (12), reading and / or writing of RFID tags (2) is performed on organic substitute currency (1) recovered in the chip tray and organic substitute currency (1) stored therein.
[0066] The organic table may additionally have a payment area, and may perform reading and / or writing of an RFID tag (2) on the organic substitute currency (1) placed by the dealer in the betting area (11) as a refund to the player.
[0067] The management control device (15) has a function to determine whether there is any abnormality in the information (220) regarding the material obtained from the reading result of the reading device (13) at each location. The determination of whether there is an abnormality can be made by determining whether there is any event among the cases where the material has not been used for a predetermined period of time or longer since the previous entry, or where the information regarding the material that should have been entered has not been entered.
[0068] Ideas that have not been used for a specified period or longer since the previous entry,
[0069] 1) Information regarding the latest material is information representing the cage (9), and the entry of the following information has been made for a predetermined amount of time or longer,
[0070] 2) Information regarding the latest material is information indicating entry at the gate (10), and the entry of the following information has elapsed for more than a predetermined amount of time,
[0071] 3) Information regarding the latest material is information indicating exit from the gate (10), and the entry of the following information has elapsed for more than a predetermined amount of time,
[0072] It is a situation among them.
[0073] The idea that the information regarding the above material, which should be entered, is not entered is,
[0074] 4) When entering the facility, information regarding the latest location of the area (22) where data of the substitute currency (1) for the facility can be re-entered, such that information indicating exit from the gate (10) is not entered,
[0075] 5) When used in cage (9), information indicating backyard (7) is not written,
[0076] 6) When exiting the enclosure, information indicating the cage (9) or backyard (7) is not entered,
[0077] It is a situation among them.
[0078] The management control device (15) is an event that determines whether there is an abnormality based on information (223) regarding the holder obtained from the reading device (13),
[0079] 1) A person different from the last holder remembered in the data-re-enterable area (22) converting or exchanging the organic substitute currency (1) within the organic market, or exiting the organic market,
[0080] 2) A person different from the holder at the time of exit who is stored in the area (22) where data can be re-entered, bringing the said substitute currency for the use of the currency into the use of the currency,
[0081] You can determine which of the situations is the best.
[0082] The management control device (15) determines whether there is an abnormality based on information indicating the location of the betting area (11) obtained from the reading device (13), or information indicating the location of the chip tray (12) or the payment area, etc.
[0083] 1) A person different from the last holder stored in the data-recordable area (22) uses the said organic substitute currency (1) on the organic table,
[0084] 2) An organic substitute currency (1) that has no record of use on the organic table is exchanged in the cage (9) by a person different from the person who purchased the said organic substitute currency (1) in the cage (9).
[0085] 3) Organic substitute currency (1) that does not have information indicating a cage (9) or backyard (7) being used in an organic field,
[0086] 4) Information regarding the latest material is information indicating the betting area (11) or the payment area, and after a predetermined period has elapsed, is used for cashing out in the cage (9) or at the organic table,
[0087] Determine any of the above 1) to 4) situations.
[0088] FIG. 8 illustrates a database related to another embodiment of the present invention. The management system additionally has a database (17) that records the same fixed information (3) and variable information (4) in addition to the organic substitute currency (1). The management control device (15) can determine an abnormality by recording information in the database (17) based on the reading result of the reading device (13), and by comparing the fixed information (3) and variable information (4) stored in the organic substitute currency (1) with the information in the database.
[0089] In the RFID tag (2) in an embodiment of the present invention, the functionally non-writeable area of the non-writeable area (21) may be a TID. After writing the necessary information in the non-writeable area (21), the area locked so that data cannot be written may be an EPC or a user area. The non-writeable area (22) may be an EPC or a user area.
[0090] The reading device (13) and the writing device (14) may change their form depending on the location. For example, in the factory (6), they may be on a platform as shown in FIG. 6, in the gate (10), they may be on a box, and in the betting area (11) or chip tray (12), the betting area (11) or chip tray (12) itself may be equipped with the functions of the reading device (13) and the writing device (14). Also, the organic substitute currency (1) may be stacked as is, or reading and writing may be performed while it is contained in a chip case, etc. Also, the reading device (13) and the writing device (14) may be integrated.
[0091] In the above embodiments, a case was described in which there is one RFID tag in the organic substitute currency, and said single RFID tag has an area where data cannot be written and an area where data can be rewritten. In contrast, a form can also be conceived in which two RFID tags are placed in the organic substitute currency, one RFID tag is locked so that data cannot be written after storing fixed information, and the other RFID tag is made rewritten so that data can be recorded.
[0092] However, in this case, when multiple organic substitute currencies are read collectively, as shown in FIG. 7a, the information group of fixed information (3) and the information group of variable information (4) are read separately, so the combination of fixed information and variable information of a specific organic substitute currency cannot be determined, and thus the organic substitute currency with an abnormality in variable information cannot be identified.
[0093] In this regard, when there is only one RFID tag, as shown in FIG. 7b, it is considered better to use a single RFID tag because the corresponding relationship between the fixed information and the variable information read by the reading device can be determined even when multiple organic substitute coins are read in batches.
[0094] Also, generally, since the reading precision of an RFID tag increases as its diameter increases, when inserting an RFID tag into an organic substitute currency, it is desirable that the RFID tag be of a size having a diameter at least equal to the radius of the organic substitute currency; therefore, it is not desirable for the diameter of each individual RFID tag to become smaller by inserting two RFID tags into the organic substitute currency. In addition, inserting two RFID tags increases the number of RFID tags to be read, which leads to a decrease in reading speed when reading multiple organic substitute currency.
[0095] Based on the above, it is considered that implementing this using a single RFID tag is more effective.
[0096] (Third embodiment)
[0097] The overall overview of a table game management system in an organic field having a plurality of organic tables according to an embodiment of the present invention is described below. FIG. 9 is a diagram showing the overall overview of the system, and the table game management system in an organic field having a plurality of organic tables (2004) comprises a game recording device (2011) that records a game performed on an organic table (2004) as an image through a plurality of cameras (2002) including an organic substitute currency (1), an image analysis device (2012) that analyzes the recorded image, a chip reader (25) that reads an RFID attached to an organic substitute currency (1), and additionally a game result judgment device (18) that determines and displays the game result of each game on the organic table (2004).
[0098] The game result judgment device (18) is, for example, a card distribution device (2003) and is a so-called electronic shoe already in use by those skilled in the art. It is structured so that the rules of the game are programmed in advance and the information of the distributed card (C) can be read to determine the win or loss of the game. For example, in a baccarat game, the Banker win, the Player win, and the Tie (draw) are basically determined by the rank of 2-3 cards, and the judgment result (win or loss result) is displayed by a result display lamp (2013).
[0099] In the drawing, the organic table (2004) is a table for baccarat and has five seating numbers (13) ("seating number 1" (131), "seating number 2" (132), "seating number 3" (133), "seating number 5" (134), "seating number 6" (135)) formed, and five game participants can participate in the game. A betting area (44) is formed for each seating number (13). The betting area (44) of the seating number (13) includes areas for Player (441), Banker (442), Tie (443), Player Pair (P) (444), and Banker Pair (B) (445). Each game participant places a bet by placing a substitute currency (1) of the amount to be bet on at a position corresponding to the target to be bet on. In FIG. 9, for example, two substitute currency (1) are placed and bet on the tie (443) of the substitute currency seating number 5, and two substitute currency (1) are placed and bet on the player (441). Additionally, the table (2004) has a player card area (45) for placing the drawn player card and a banker card area (46) for placing the drawn banker card.
[0100] The control device (2014) can determine, through the camera (2002) and image analysis device (2012), which position (player, banker, tie, or pair) each player (2006) has bet on the organic substitute currency (1) in the betting area (2008), the type of organic substitute currency (1) bet (the organic substitute currency (1) has a different amount value assigned to each color), and the number of cards. That is, the control device (2014) can determine, for example, that two organic substitute currency (1) cards have been bet on the tie (443) of seating number 5 and two organic substitute currency (1) cards have been bet on the player (441).
[0101] As shown in FIG. 9, the chip reader (25) is positioned so that for each sitting number, the entire betting area is treated as a single reading area, and the RFID of the organic substitute currency (1) within the reading area can be collected and read. The RFID attached to the organic substitute currency (1) contains unique ID information, the amount, type, manufacturing information, and holder information of the organic substitute currency (1). Alternatively, the ID information and the amount, type, manufacturing information, and holder information of the organic substitute currency (1) may be stored together in a database. By reading the RFID attached to the organic substitute currency (1), the chip reader (25) can identify the organic substitute currency (1) for each sitting number and determine the total amount or number of cards. That is, for example, four organic substitute currencies are bet on sitting number 5, and the type, amount, and ID of each can be determined.
[0102] As shown in FIG. 10, the control device (2014) identifies the total amount or total number of organic substitute currency (1) for each sitting number based on the type and number of organic substitute currency (1) bet in each betting area of each sitting number based on the image analysis result by the image analysis device (2012), and performs a comparison with the total amount or total number of organic substitute currency (1) for each sitting number based on the RFID information of the organic substitute currency (1) read by the chip reader (25) to determine whether they match. In addition, the above determination can output a sitting number that is inconsistent, so that a problematic sitting number can be identified.
[0103] If the total amount or total number of organic substitute currency (1) for each sitting number based on the reading result of the chip reader (25) is less than the total amount or total number of organic substitute currency (1) for each sitting number based on the image analysis result of the image analysis device (2012), it is possible to consider the possibility that the RFID attached to the organic substitute currency (1) is damaged, is unreadable, or that the RFID is not attached to the organic substitute currency (1). In FIG. 10, regarding the organic substitute currency (1) bet on sitting number 1, the total number of readings based on the image analysis result of the image analysis device (2012) is 4, whereas the total number of readings based on the RFID reading of the chip reader (25) is 3. Therefore, it can be assumed that one of the four organic substitute currency (1) bet on sitting number 1 was unreadable by RFID.
[0104] If the total amount or total number of organic substitute currency (1) per sitting number based on the reading result of the chip reader (25) is greater than the total amount or total number of organic substitute currency (1) per sitting number based on the image analysis result of the image analysis device (2012), it is possible to consider the possibility that the image analysis device (2012) could not read the organic substitute currency (1) due to factors such as the organic substitute currency (1) being in the blind spot of the camera. In FIG. 10, regarding the organic substitute currency (1) bet on sitting number 3, the total number of reads based on the image analysis result of the image analysis device (2012) is 1, whereas the total number of reads based on the RFID reading of the chip reader (25) is 2. Therefore, it is possible to think that although there were two organic substitute coins (1) bet on sitting number 3, the image analysis device (2012) could only recognize one.
[0105] The RFID ID information attached to the organic substitute currency (1) is registered in the casino's database, and information regarding production and shipment from the factory, as well as information regarding receipt, validation, and activation at the casino, is recorded. The control device (2014) can determine whether the RFID information read by the chip reader (25) is registered as being used at the casino by comparing it with the information in the database.
[0106] With this configuration, the type and number of organic substitute currency (1) bet in each betting area can be identified by the camera, and the authenticity and defects of the organic substitute currency (1) for each sitting number can be determined based on the RFID information of the organic substitute currency (1) read by the chip reader (25).
[0107] Additionally, the system may further be equipped with means for identifying a game participant by means of a facial authentication system or a player ID card, and the control device (2014) may associate the game participant information identified by the means for identifying a game participant with a seating number. The control device (2014) may store betting amounts, redemption or recovery amounts, and win / loss information stored for each seating number for each game participant. Additionally, information on multiple games played by a game participant at multiple tables may be collected and stored.
[0108] The control device (2014) can determine whether the total amount of substitute currency (1) for organic use in the chip tray (17) of the dealer (2005) of the organic table (2004) has increased or decreased according to the game's win / loss result, based on the recovery of the substitute currency (1) for organic use bet by each player (2006) and the amount of the payment (9W) as winning chips to the winning player (2006W) after the game ends and is settled. The chip tray determination device may determine the total amount of organic substitute currency (1) in the chip tray (17) by using a camera (2002) to photograph the organic substitute currency (1) contained in the chip tray (17) and based on the analysis of the image analysis device (2012), or by forming an RFID reader in the chip tray (17) to detect the total amount of organic substitute currency (1) contained in the chip tray (17).
[0109] In this example, fraud or miss is detected based on the result of the game's win or loss, information on how many of which type of organic substitute currency (1) is bet on which position (player, banker, tie, or pair) in the betting area (2008), and the amount of increase or decrease of organic substitute currency (1) in the chip tray (17) after the recovery of the lost chips and the redemption of the winning organic substitute currency (1) are completed. Therefore, fraud or miss can be detected without determining the movement of the organic substitute currency (1) after the game ends, that is, whether the organic substitute currency (1) that was bet has moved to the player's side or to the dealer's side.
[0110] Here, the win / loss result of the game can be determined according to the rules of Baccarat by reading the rank of the card (C) continuously dispensed in the game in the card dispensing device (2003), for example, in the case of Baccarat. Alternatively, the win / loss result of the game can also be determined by photographing the organic table (2004) with a camera (2002), analyzing the image with an image analysis device (2012), and comparing the analysis result with the rules of the game with a control device (2014). In this case, the game result determination device is configured with a camera (2002), an image analysis device (2012), and a control device (2014). Information on how many cards each sitting number player, of which type of organic substitute currency (1) has bet on which position (player, banker, tie, player pair, banker pair) in the betting area (2008) is obtained by photographing the organic substitute currency (1) placed in the betting area (2008) with a camera (2002) and analyzing the image for each play position (7) with an image analysis device (2012).
[0111] Also, the increase or decrease in the amount of organic substitute currency (1) in the chip tray (17) before and after the recovery of the genuine organic substitute currency (1) and the redemption of the winning organic substitute currency (1) can be calculated by comparing the total amount of organic substitute currency (1) in the chip tray (17) before the recovery of the genuine organic substitute currency (1) and the redemption of the winning organic substitute currency (1) with the total amount of organic substitute currency (1) in the chip tray (17) after the recovery of the genuine organic substitute currency (1) and the redemption of the winning organic substitute currency (1).
[0112] For example, the total amount of organic substitute currency (1) in the chip tray (17) before the start of the game is Bb, and the total amount of organic substitute currency (1) in the chip tray (17) after the game ends and the recovery of lost chips and the repayment of winning chips are completed is Ba. Also, in this game, the total amount of organic substitute currency (1) bet in the player area in all play positions (7) is bp, the total amount of organic substitute currency (1) bet in the banker area in all play positions (7) is bb, and the total amount of organic substitute currency (1) bet in the tie area in all play positions (7) is bt. For example, if the win / loss result of this game is a win for the banker, Ba - Bb = bp - bb + bt must hold. Alternatively, the total amount of organic substitute currency (1) in the chip tray (17) after the game ends Ba must be (Bb + bp - bb + bt). If it is not like that, it can be determined that there was fraud or a mistake in the recovery or redemption of the chips.
[0113] FIG. 14a is a drawing showing details of the chip tray of the present embodiment, and FIG. 14b is a drawing showing another example of the chip tray. The chip tray (17) is formed with a recovery chip tray (171) for recovering and temporarily storing the organic substitute currency (1L) bet by the winning player (2006L) and a redemption chip tray (172) for storing the organic substitute currency (1W) to be redeemed. The image analysis device (2012) and the control device (2014) identify the location, type, and number of organic substitute currency (1L) bet by the winning player (2006L) and calculate the increase in the organic substitute currency (1L) in the game (the amount of organic substitute currency (1) that should be in the recovery chip tray (171)). Additionally, the image analysis device (2012) and the control device (2014) determine the actual total amount of organic substitute currency (1) in the chip tray (171) after recovery, and compare the total amount that should be there with the actual total amount to determine whether there is a difference.
[0114] The control device (2014) can also perform the repayment of the organic substitute currency (1) to be repaid, and when the repayment is finished, compare the total amount of chips to be repaid in the chip tray based on the position, type, and number of chips bet by each game participant in the organic table and the amount of chips to be repaid in the game calculated from the game results with the actual total amount in the chip tray and determine whether there is a difference between the total amount to be repaid and the actual total amount.
[0115] Additionally, the redemption of organic substitute currency (1W) for the winning player (2006W) can be done by using the organic substitute currency (1) in the redemption chip tray (172), thereby allowing sufficient time to determine the actual total amount of organic substitute currency (1) in the recovery chip tray (171) after the image analysis device (2012) and the control device (2014) have recovered it.
[0116] As described above, in this embodiment, the control device (2014) calculates the balance of chips from the betting chip amount on the organic table (2004) and the win / loss result of the game for each game, and verifies the increase in the balance of chips in the chip tray (17) after the game. If a difference is detected in this verification, the control device (2014) notifies an alarm or adds a record to that effect to the video recording captured by the camera (2002). The casino operator can investigate the cause of the difference by checking the video.
[0117] The management system of the table game of the present embodiment calculates the increase or decrease in chips in the game calculated from the position, type, and number of substitute currency (1) bet by all players (2006) in the game and the win / loss result of the game obtained from the win / loss result determination device, from the total amount of substitute currency (1) in the chip tray (17) before the settlement of each game, and compares the total amount of substitute currency (1) that should be in the chip tray (17) after settlement at the end of the game with the actual total amount of substitute currency (1) in the chip tray (17) at the end of the game obtained through the image analysis device (2012), and determines whether there is a difference between the total amount that should be and the actual total amount.
[0118] The control device (2014) determines the location, type, and number of chips that each player bets through the image analysis device (2012), determines the actual total amount of chips in the chip tray when all the winning chips that each player bets are finished, compares the total amount of liquid substitute currency (1) in the chip tray (17) that should be added to the increase in the chip tray (17) in the game from the total amount of chips in the chip tray before the liquidation of each game and the total amount of liquid substitute currency (1) in the chip tray (17), and determines whether there is a difference between the total amount that should be and the actual total amount.
[0119] The control device (2014) compares the total amount of organic substitute currency (1) in the chip tray (17) that should be there, calculated by adding the increase in the chip tray (17) in the game from the position, type, and number of organic substitute currency (1) bet by the losing player to the total amount of organic substitute currency (1) in the chip tray (17) before the settlement of each game, with the actual total amount of organic substitute currency (1) in the chip tray (17), and determines that there is no difference between the total amount that should be there and the actual total amount, and also compares the total amount that should be there in the chip tray (17) after settlement at the end of the game with the actual total amount of organic substitute currency (1) in the chip tray (17) at the end of the game obtained through the image analysis device (2012), and determines that there is a difference between the total amount that should be there and the actual total amount, as a payment error It determines and generates a payment error signal to indicate a payment error.
[0120] In the chip tray (17), a recovery chip tray (171) is formed to recover and temporarily store the organic substitute currency (1) that the winning player has bet. The image analysis device (2012) compares the total amount of organic substitute currency (1) in the recovery chip tray (171), calculated by adding the increase in organic substitute currency (1) in the game calculated from the position, type, and number of organic substitute currency (1L) that the winning player has bet, with the actual total amount of organic substitute currency (1) in the recovery chip tray (171), and determines whether there is a difference between the total amount that should be and the actual total amount.
[0121] When the control device (2014) determines that the actual total amount of organic substitute currency (1) identified in the chip tray (17) of the dealer (2005) of the organic table (2004) does not correspond to the amount of chips bet by all players and the amount of chips calculated from the win / loss result of the game, the game recording device (2011) may assign an index or time to the acquired image, or specify and play back the scene of recovery or payment of organic substitute currency (1) so that the record of the game in which the above difference occurred can be analyzed by the game recording device (2011).
[0122] In this way, the control device (2014) obtains the total amount of chips in the chip tray (17) after liquidation at the end of the game through the image analysis device (2012), but the judgment after liquidation in this case is made when any of the following 1) to 4) occurs.
[0123] 1) When the redemption of the winning organic substitute currency (1) is completed,
[0124] 2) When the card (C) used in the game is recovered and disposed of in the disposal area (41) or disposal slot (42) of the table,
[0125] 3) When a predetermined button attached to the win / loss result judgment device is pressed,
[0126] 4) When the marker (43) indicating the win or loss is returned to its original state.
[0127] Additionally, the control device (2014) is an artificial intelligence-utilizing or deep learning structure capable of identifying the position of chips bet (positions bet on Player, Banker, or Pair) and the amount (type and number) at each play position (7) of the organic table (2004), and comparing the win / loss history of each player (2006) and the amount of chips obtained (winning amount) obtained by the win / loss result of each game with statistical data of a large number of past games (big data) to extract a unique situation (set by the casino). Typically, when a winning amount of more than a certain amount (1 million dollars) occurs, or in a play position (7) of a certain organic table (2004), a state in which the amount of betting chips when losing is small and the amount of betting chips when winning is large continues for several games, and there is a control device (2014) of an artificial intelligence-utilizing or deep learning structure capable of extracting this as a unique situation compared with statistical data (big data, etc.) of past games.
[0128] In addition, the control device (2014) of the management system for the table game is structured to be able to identify individual players (2006) in a play position (7) that is extracted as an unusual situation or has won more than a predetermined amount (integrated with the image analysis device (2012)). Such identification of players (2006) is achieved by obtaining an image of a face through feature point extraction, etc., in the image analysis device (2012) and assigning an identity number (ID, etc.) to identify them. Furthermore, the control device (2014) has a warning function that notifies the presence of the identified player (2006) at another play table when the identified player (2006) leaves and sits at another play table. Specifically, it notifies the pit manager or the person in charge of each play table (2004) (which may also be a dealer) to prevent additional unusual phenomena.
[0129] The control device (2014) can identify the recovered organic substitute currency (1) for each sitting number based on the RFID ID information of the recovered organic substitute currency (1) determined by the chip tray determination device and the RFID ID information of the organic substitute currency (1) read by the chip reader (25).
[0130] In FIG. 11, organic substitute currency (1) is bet as shown in the detailed table of FIG. 12 and FIG. 13. In the analysis by the image analysis device (2012), the location (player, banker, etc.) where the organic substitute currency (1) is bet and the number (and amount) can be identified. Meanwhile, in the reading by the chip reader (25), the RFID ID attached to the organic substitute currency (1) for each sitting number can be identified. In addition, since the chip tray judgment device can determine the ID of the organic substitute currency (1) in the chip tray (9), the recovered organic substitute currency (1) can be identified by identifying the ID that increased before and after the recovery. In FIGS. 11 to 13, when the game result is a Banker win, it can be seen from the analysis result of the image analysis device (2012) that the two cards bet on the Banker pair must be recovered, and among the IDs of the recovered chips determined by the chip tray judgment device, it can be seen that the two cards ID6 and 18, which the chip reading device (25) read as being bet on seating number 5, are recovered.
[0131] The control device (2014) also determines the total amount or total number of organic substitute currency (1) to be recovered for each determined sitting number using the measurement results of the location, amount, and number of organic substitute currency (1) based on the game result obtained from the game result determination device and the image analysis result by the image analysis device. Accordingly, the control device (2014) can compare the total amount or total number of recovered organic substitute currency (1) for each sitting number determined based on RFID with the total amount or total number of organic substitute currency (1) to be recovered based on the image analysis result, and determine whether they match.
[0132] For example, if the reading result by the chip reading device (25) of sitting number 1 is “A, B, C, D, E”, the analysis result by the image analysis device (2012) is “2 cards for Tie, 2 cards for Banker”, the game result is “Banker win”, and the reading result by the chip tray judgment device (18) is “A, B”, then it can be seen that the chips A and B that were bet on Tie have been correctly recovered.
[0133] The control device (2014) can also determine whether the RFID ID information of the recovered organic substitute currency (1) determined by the chip tray determination device matches the RFID ID information of the organic substitute currency (1) that was bet, which was read by the chip reader (25). By this determination, it can determine whether the organic substitute currency (1) recovered in the chip tray is the organic substitute currency (1) that was bet on the organic table, or whether it is an organic substitute currency (1) that was fraudulently recovered from another place.
[0134] The control device (2014) can also determine the type of chip, such as a cash chip, a rolling chip, or a promotion chip, based on the RFID information read by the chip reader (25), and can store the amount bet, the amount recovered, or the amount redeemed for each type of chip determined.
[0135] Rolling chips are special chips that cannot be exchanged for cash and are available for purchase by specific members, and the amount of rolling chips purchased by each member is managed. They must be used and spent for betting, and the redemption for betting using rolling chips is redeemed by cash chips. By remembering the amount of rolling chips that have been bet or recovered based on the RFID information read by the chip reader (25), the amount of rolling chips that a specific member must possess can be determined.
[0136] The chip reader (25) is also equipped with the function of a verification area and is capable of reading the organic substitute currency (1) placed for redemption. As shown in FIG. 15, when redemption is performed for the banker of seating number 2, the organic substitute currency (1) for redemption is placed in the chip reader (25) and reading is performed. In FIG. 15, it is placed next to the winning organic substitute currency (1) bet on the banker of seating number 2. The control device (2014) can compare the redemption amount determined using the measurement results of the position, amount, and number of organic substitute currency (1) based on the game result obtained from the game result judgment device and the image analysis result by the image analysis device, with the amount of organic substitute currency (1) placed for each seating number based on the reading result of the chip reader (25), and determine whether the redemption amount matches or does not match, and output the result. In FIG. 16, the total number of organic substitute currency (1) to be paid by Sitting Number 1 is 4, but the reading result of the chip reader (25) is 3, so there is a discrepancy. If the redemption amount is a discrepancy, a signal of the discrepancy is output, and the dealer can place the organic substitute currency (1) for redemption again based on the output signal. When the organic substitute currency (1) is placed again, a judgment is performed again, and the judgment result is output. The area where the organic substitute currency (1) for redemption is placed may be anywhere within the chip reader (25). Also, as shown in FIG. 15, a payment confirmation area (26) may be placed on the dealer side of the betting area separately from the betting area.In FIG. 15, an organic substitute currency (1) for redemption is placed in the payment confirmation area (26) of sitting number 6, a chip reader (25) performs a reading, a control device (2014) performs a judgment, and a redemption chip is placed next to the winning organic substitute currency (1) placed on the banker.
[0137] Additionally, image analysis by an image analysis device (2012) may be performed on the verification area as well, and the control device (2014) may compare with the reading result of the chip reader (25) to determine whether the total number of sheets matches.
[0138] The control device (2014) can output a signal based on the judgment made. The signal may be sent to display a display on the chip tray (9) or the card distribution device (2003), or may be output to the pit manager or the backyard of the casino.

[0140] Hereinafter, an organic substitute currency (1) used in an embodiment of the present invention will be described. FIG. 20 is an external view of an organic substitute currency (1) used in the present system, and FIG. 21 is a front cross-sectional view. It has a multilayer structure in which a plurality of layers of plastics of different colors are laminated, and at least a colored layer (101) is provided in the middle, and a white layer (102) or a thin layer (not shown, but may be a layer with a lighter color than the colored layer (101)) is laminated on both sides of the colored layer (101) in the middle. In this way, a colored layer (101) is provided, and a multilayer structure is formed by laminating a white layer (102) or a thin layer (not shown, but a layer with a lighter color than the colored layer (101)) on both sides of the colored layer (101), thereby forming stripes in the lamination direction on the side as shown in FIG. 20, and by changing the color of the colored layer (101) (red, green, yellow or blue, etc.), the type of organic substitute currency (1) (10 points, 20 points, 100 points, 1000 points, etc.) can be specified.
[0141] The colored layer (101) may be formed by a plurality of colored layers (three layers in FIG. 21), as shown in FIG. 21. Since the plurality of colored layers (three layers in FIG. 21) are heat-pressed together, the three-layer structure is not visible to the naked eye as in FIG. 21, and FIG. 21 shows three layers for illustrative purposes. Furthermore, a partial cutout (B) is formed in the middle layer of the three layers of the colored layer (101), and an RFID is embedded therein.
[0142] Also, the organic substitute currency (1) is not limited to a structure made of laminated plastic, and may have the same appearance as the colored layer (101) in terms of appearance.
[0143] Below, a method for an image analysis device (2012) to analyze an organic substitute currency (1) is described in detail. The image analysis device (2012) analyzes an image recorded in a recording device (11) and recognizes at least two colors: a specific color (121) that is at least partially applied to the organic substitute currency (1) and a reference color (R) that is different from the specific color (121) present in the image. Additionally, the specific color (121) is at least partially applied at a specific location or in a specific shape on the organic substitute currency (1). For example, it may be applied as a coloring layer (101), applied in a circumferential direction to the side of the organic substitute currency (1), or applied as a specific mark on the surface of the organic substitute currency (1). Also, the reference color (R) may be, for example, the color of a specific area of the organic table (2004), or a color assigned to a different location from the specific color (121) of the organic substitute currency (1).
[0144] The image analysis device (2012) includes an artificial intelligence device (12a) that performs the identification of a specific color by, for example, deep learning technology, and determines the number and type of organic substitute currency (1) placed on the organic table (2004). The recognition device (12) may additionally determine the position of the organic substitute currency (1) in the organic table (2004).
[0145] An image analysis device (2012) acquires multiple images of an organic substitute currency (1) and a reference color (R) irradiated with different illumination levels, and learns the acquired images and the correct color of the specific color (121) and the reference color (R) of the organic substitute currency (1) in each image by teaching them as teacher data, thereby creating a learning model (13a) (recognition program). Additionally, images of the organic substitute currency (1) and the reference color (R) irradiated with illumination levels under the same conditions can acquire the relative relationship between the specific color (121) and the reference color (R) by ensuring that the specific color (121) and the reference color (R) are illuminated with the same illumination level. For example, this relative relationship may be used for the recognition of the specific color (121).
[0146] In addition, the chip recognition device (12) may extract the center line (C) of the organic substitute currency (1) by a method of measuring image features such as shape, brightness, saturation, and hue using the result of image analysis, without using artificial intelligence, and the image is captured by a camera (2002) and recorded as an image.
[0147] The artificial intelligence device (12a) also has a configuration that recognizes at least two colors of a specific color (121) and a reference color (R) different from the specific color (121) in the surrounding image by analyzing a specific range of surrounding images around the extracted center line (C) (e.g., a range of 8 pixels perpendicular to the center line, centered on the center line). Additionally, when analyzing the surrounding images around the extracted center line (C), the image may be analyzed as is, or it may be analyzed after performing image processing such as color enhancement or noise removal so that the specific color (121) is easily recognized.
[0148] In summary, the artificial intelligence device (12a) of the recognition device (12) is configured to recognize at least two colors, a specific color (121) and a reference color (R) different from the specific color (121), by extracting a center line (C) from an image of an organic substitute currency (1) and analyzing a surrounding image of a predetermined range centered on the center line (C), and is an artificial intelligence device that is taught as teaching data a plurality of surrounding images of an organic substitute currency (1) and a reference color (R) irradiated with different illumination levels.

These technologies are technologies for recognizing objects included in an image by performing image recognition on a captured image, and in particular, recently, recognizing objects with high precision using deep learning technology that multi-layers neural networks is being implemented. This deep learning technology generally recognizes objects with high precision by overlapping layers in multiple stages in the intermediate layer between the input layer and the output layer of the neural network. In this deep learning technology, convolutional neural networks, in particular, are attracting attention for having higher performance than conventional image feature recognition.
[0164] In a convolutional neural network, a labeled target image is trained to recognize the main object included in the target image. If multiple main objects exist within the training image, they are designated by a rectangle, and the image corresponding to the designated area is labeled to perform training. Additionally, in the convolutional neural network, the main object within the image and the location of said object can be determined.
[0165] To further explain the convolutional neural network, the object recognition process extracts candidate regions based on local features by performing edge extraction processing on the image to be recognized, inputs the candidate regions into the convolutional neural network to extract feature vectors, performs classification, and obtains the classified candidate region with the highest confidence as the recognition result. Confidence is a quantity that indicates how relatively higher the similarity between a certain image region and a label learned together is compared to the similarity of other classes.

[0268] Additionally, the control device may be configured to determine the recovered organic substitute currency for each side bet based on the information of the RFID ID of the recovered organic substitute currency determined by the chip tray determination device and the information of the RFID ID of the organic substitute currency read by the chip reader, and to compare the ID or amount or number of items to be recovered for each side bet determined using the measurement results of the location, amount, and number of items of the organic substitute currency based on the game result obtained from the game result determination device and the image analysis result by the image analysis device with the ID or amount or number of items of the recovered organic substitute currency for each side bet, and to determine whether the recovered amount matches or does not match for each side bet.
[0269] (Fourth embodiment)
[0270] Hereinafter, a fourth embodiment of the present invention will be described.
[0271] (Example 1)
[0272] FIG. 23 is a diagram showing the configuration of a management system of the first example of the fourth embodiment of the present invention. The management system (110) traces the holder of the organic substitute currency without using a database. For this reason, the holder's information is stored in the organic substitute currency. The management system (110) is equipped with a roughly elliptical organic table (4004). A player (82) is positioned on one side (the lower side of FIG. 23) of the organic table (4004), and a dealer (not shown) is positioned on the opposite side. On the upper surface of the organic table (4004), betting areas (41a to 41e) (hereinafter collectively referred to as "betting areas (41)") are partitioned for each of the multiple player positions. The betting area (41) is an area for the player (82) to place a bet by placing the organic substitute currency (83). On the dealer position side of the organic table (4004), a chip tray (12) is formed for placing the dealer's organic substitute currency (82).
[0273] The organic substitute currency (83) has the same configuration as the organic substitute currency of the above embodiment. That is, the organic substitute currency (83) has an RFID tag (2) embedded therein, which has a non-rewriteable area (21) for storing fixed information (3) and a rewriteable area (22) for storing variable information (4). The RFID tag (2) has a chip ID (identification information) that uniquely identifies the organic substitute currency (83) stored as unique information (3). Also, the RFID tag (2) has a user ID that uniquely identifies the holder of the organic substitute currency (83) stored as variable information (4).
[0274] Additionally, a common user ID is assigned to the casino or dealer, and when the casino possesses organic substitute currency (83) (including cases where it is contained in the chip tray (12)), the user ID representing the casino or dealer is stored in the fluctuation information (4).
[0275] In each betting area (41a to 41e) of the organic table (4004), an RFID antenna (511a to 511e) (hereinafter collectively referred to as "RFID antenna (511)") is formed. Specifically, the RFID antenna (511) is embedded in a position where the corresponding betting area (41) is partitioned, located below the rasa of the organic table (4004). Additionally, an RFID antenna (513) is formed in the chip tray (12).
[0276] The RFID antenna (511) performs reading and writing of data on the RFID tag (2) embedded in the organic substitute currency (83) placed in the corresponding betting area (41). The RFID antenna (513) performs reading and writing of data on the RFID tag (2) embedded in the organic substitute currency (83) placed in the chip tray (12).
[0277] RFID antennas (511a to 511e) and RFID antenna (513) are connected to an RF control device (54). Additionally, in FIG. 23, only the line connecting antenna (511e) and the RF control device (54) is shown, and the line connecting antennas (511a to 511d) and the RF control device (54) is omitted for ease of visualization in the drawing, but antennas (511a to 511d) are also connected to the RF control device (54) in the same way as antenna (511e). The same applies to the drawings below. The RF control device (54) performs read and write control for each antenna. The RF control device (54) distinguishes each antenna individually and performs read and write control. For this reason, each antenna is assigned an area ID that uniquely identifies the area where read and write are performed on the antenna. Also, the RF control device (54) performs periodic readings when reading is performed.
[0278] By referring to this area ID, it can be determined whether the read organic substitute currency (83) is in the chip tray (12) or in the betting area (41), and regarding the betting area (41), it can be determined which play position's betting area (41a to 41e).
[0279] When the RF control device (54) performs reading, it receives data read from each antenna and identifies which area the data was read from, i.e., the area ID. Also, when the RF control device (54) performs writing, it identifies the antenna performing the writing, i.e., the area ID, and transmits the data to be written. In this way, the RF control device (54) can individually control reading and writing for each antenna.
[0280] The RF control device (54) outputs the user ID of the organic substitute currency (83) ("User ID" in FIG. 23) and the area ID of the area from which the user ID was read ("Area ID" in FIG. 23) based on the data read from each antenna. The management system (110) additionally has a management control device (56) connected to the RF control device (54). The management control device (56) receives the user ID and area ID from the RF control device (54) and assigns the user ID to the RF control device (54) to be written on the RFID tag (2).
[0281] In addition, as explained below, the user ID stored in the RFID tag (2) of the organic substitute currency (83) changes as the organic substitute currency (83) moves, but the RFID tag (2) stores past user IDs in addition to the latest user ID as change information (4). Therefore, by referring to this change information (4), the change of holders for each organic substitute currency (83) can be investigated. Also, in the following description, expressions such as "re-entering the user ID" mean changing at least the latest user ID, and do not necessarily mean erasing the information of past user IDs at the same time.
[0282] The management control device (56) updates the change information (4) of the organic substitute currency (83) based on the data (user ID and area ID) of the organic substitute currency (83) received from the RF control device (54). Below, the method of updating the change information (4) will be described.
[0283] FIGS. 24 to 26 are drawings illustrating examples of updating change information. As shown in FIG. 24, a player places an organic substitute currency (831) in a betting area (41b). The management control device (56) receives the user ID of the betting chip (831) and the area ID of the betting area (41b), which are obtained by reading the RFID tag (2) of the organic substitute currency (hereinafter also referred to as "betting chip (831)") that the player placed in the betting area.
[0284] In the betting stage, as shown in FIG. 24, the same user ID (in the example of FIG. 24, “P1”) is read in the betting area (41b), and the same ID (in the example of FIG. 24, “D”) indicating that the holder is a casino or dealer is read in the chip tray (12). If this player wins the game, as shown in FIG. 25, the dealer pays (redeems) an organic substitute currency (hereinafter also referred to as “payout chip (832)”) from the chip tray (12) and places it next to the betting chip (831) in the betting area (41b).
[0285] Then, in the betting area (41b), "D" is read as a user ID in addition to "P1". The management control device (56) controls the RF control device (54) to rewrite all user IDs of the organic substitute currency (83) in the betting area (41) as the user ID assigned to the player (in the case of FIG. 25, "P1") when there are two types of user IDs of the organic substitute currency (83) read from the same betting area (41), and one type is "D" and the other type is the user ID assigned to the player. In addition, in this case, the same "P1" is also added as the latest user ID to the betting chip (831) in which "P1" is stored as a user ID.
[0286] Meanwhile, if the player loses the game, the betting chips (831) are collected by the dealer into the chip tray (12) as shown in FIG. 26. Then, in the chip tray (12), “P1” is read as a user ID in addition to “D”. If the user ID of the organic substitute currency (83) read from the chip tray (12) contains a user ID assigned to the player other than “D” (in the example of FIG. 26, “P1”), the management control device (56) rewrites the user ID of all organic substitute currency (83) in the chip tray (12) to “D”.
[0287] Additionally, a recovery float may be formed to temporarily store the organic substitute currency (83) recovered in the chip tray (12), and the antenna may be divided into a part different from the recovery float, and the above processing may be performed only on the organic substitute currency (83) recovered in the recovery float.
[0288] By the above processing of the management control device (56), the user ID stored in the organic substitute currency (83) is updated according to the change of the actual holder. That is, in this embodiment, the user ID is stored in the RFID tag (2) of the organic substitute currency (83), and the user ID is updated for the payout chip (832) to be the same holder as the holder of the betting chip (831). Therefore, the change of the holder due to the game performed on the organic table (4004) can be traced without using the database or player-specific system described later, and without the management control device (56) needing to know the progress of the game (betting phase, game phase, liquidation phase).
[0289] Additionally, when a player purchases a new organic substitute currency (83), the player is identified using the player identification system described below, and the casino or dealer's user ID is re-entered as the specific player's user ID before the organic substitute currency (83) is handed over to the player. Also, when a player exchanges the organic substitute currency (83), the user ID of the organic substitute currency (83) received from the player is re-entered as the casino or dealer's user ID.
[0290] (Example 2)
[0291] FIG. 27 is a diagram showing the configuration of a management system of the second example of the fourth embodiment. The management system (120) has a player-specific system introduced in addition to the configuration of the management system (110) of the first example. The player-specific system includes an image recognition system consisting of a camera (52) and an image recognition device (55), and a card authentication system consisting of a card (81) and a card reader (53), but either one may be used.
[0292] A camera (52) captures the face of a player (82) located in a play position and outputs the image generated by the capture to an image recognition device (55). The image recognition device (55) is equipped with a face recognition engine based on a neural network that has learned the face images of a plurality of pre-registered players (82) (hereinafter, registered players are also referred to as "members"). The image recognition device (55) determines which registered member's face image the input face image is by inputting the image from the camera (52) into the neural network. Additionally, if the image recognition device (55) determines that the image from the camera (52) is not the face of any registered member, it outputs a result that the face image is a non-member's face image.
[0293] Additionally, the image recognition device (55) identifies the play position of the member based on the location within the image where the face has been authenticated. The image recognition device (55) outputs the area ID of the specific play position ("Area ID" in FIG. 27) along with the user ID of the member corresponding to the image from the camera (52) ("User ID" in FIG. 27). Additionally, if the image recognition device (55) cannot identify which member it is, it outputs "Unknown" as the user ID.
[0294] The card reader (53) scans the member card (81) handed from the player (82) to the dealer and reads the information stored in the member card (81). The member card (81) is a magnetic card with a magnetic stripe formed thereon, and at least the user ID of the player (82) (member) is stored in the magnetic stripe. When the dealer receives the member card (81) from the player (82), he / she scans the member card (81) using the card reader (53) and inputs the player's (82) play position into the card reader (53). The card reader (53) outputs the user ID ("User ID" in FIG. 27) read from the member card (81) and the area ID ("Area ID" in FIG. 27) of the play position input by the dealer.
[0295] In the management control device (56), a user ID and area ID stored in the organic substitute currency (83) from the RF control device (54) and read using the antenna (511) are input, a user ID and area ID specified based on the player's face image are input from the image recognition device (55), and a user ID obtained by reading the members card (81) from the card reader (53) and an area ID designated by the dealer are input.
[0296] The management control device (56) controls the RF control device (54) so that, for the same area ID, if the user ID read from the antenna (511), i.e., the user ID stored as the holder of the organic substitute currency (83) bet in the betting area (41), does not match the user ID read from the member card (81) or the user ID specified by the image recognition device (55), i.e., the player specified by the player-specific system, the user ID stored as the holder in the fluctuation area (4) of the organic substitute currency (83) bet in the betting area (41) is re-entered as the user ID of the player specified by the player-specific system.
[0297] The RF control device (54) uses an antenna (511) to write the user ID of a player identified by the player identification system into the rewriteable area (22) of the RFID tag (2) of the organic substitute currency (83) placed in the betting area (41). At this time, the RF control device (54) also records in the rewriteable area (22) that the user ID as holder information has been rewritten due to a discrepancy in the user ID. Thus, when the casino or dealer acquires this organic substitute currency (83), by referring to the history of changes in the holder, it can know that there was a discrepancy in the holder and can identify the player involved in such a discrepancy.
[0298] In addition, regarding the player identification system, either the identification of the player by the face authentication system or the identification of the player by reading the member card (81) may be performed. That is, when a registered member sits at the playing position, the player identification by the member card (81) is not necessarily performed, and in that case, the player is identified by the face authentication system alone. Also, even in cases where the player's face is not clearly captured and face authentication cannot be performed, the player may be identified by the member card (81).
[0299] Additionally, there are cases where a player is identified by either facial authentication or a member card (81). In this case, the user ID of the player identified by facial authentication and the user ID of the player identified by the member card (81) may be different. If either of the user IDs matches the user ID read from the organic substitute currency (83), the management control device (56) controls the RF control device (54) to record in the writeable area (22) of the organic substitute currency (83) that there was a discrepancy in the identification of the player by the player identification system, along with the user ID that does not match the user ID read from the organic substitute currency (83).
[0300] In this example as well, the user ID stored in the organic substitute currency (83) is updated according to the actual holder, just as in the first example. Additionally, in this example, if the user ID of the player specified by the player-specific system does not match the user ID stored in the organic substitute currency (83), the discrepancy is corrected, and the fact that such a discrepancy occurred is recorded in the organic substitute currency (83). Therefore, by referring to this record in the organic substitute currency (83), it can be determined that there was an exchange of organic substitute currency (83) between players, and the player involved can be identified.
[0301] Additionally, when converting organic substitute currency (83), by using the same player-specific system as above, if the user ID of the player (user who intends to convert) identified by face authentication or the member card (81) is different from the user ID stored in the organic substitute currency (83) related to the conversion, an alarm to that effect may be output, and the operator may not accept the conversion.
[0302] (Example 3)
[0303] FIG. 28 is a diagram showing the configuration of the third example of the fourth embodiment of the management system. The management system (130) is equipped with a database (57) in addition to the configuration of the first example of the management system (110). In the database (57), a chip ID ("Chip ID" in FIG. 28) that uniquely identifies the organic substitute currency (83) and the user ID of the player possessing said organic substitute currency (83) are associated and stored. Furthermore, as described above, the holder changes as the organic substitute currency (83) is purchased, used in a game, and exchanged, but the history of past holders is recorded in the database (57). Therefore, by referring to the database (57), the change in holders for each organic substitute currency (83) can be known.
[0304] In this example, the organic substitute currency (83) may have a non-writeable area (21) and may not have a writeable area (22). That is, the organic substitute currency (83) may have at least a chip ID stored in it. Also, the RF control device (54) may not have a writing function and may be an RF reader having only a reading function.
[0305] The management control unit (56) updates the database (57) based on the data (chip ID and area ID) of the organic substitute currency (83) received from the RF control unit (54). The method of updating the database (57) will be described below.
[0306] FIGS. 29 to 31 are drawings illustrating an example of updating a database (57). As shown in FIG. 29, a player places organic substitute currency (831) in a betting area (41b). The management control device (56) receives the chip ID of the betting chip (831) and the area ID of the betting area (41b), which are obtained by reading the RFID tag (2) of the betting chip (831) that the player placed in the betting area (41b).
[0307] In the betting stage, as shown in FIG. 29, “C00001” to “C00005” are read as chip IDs in the betting area (41b), and “C20001” to “C20100” are read as chip IDs in the chip tray (12). Then, the RF control device (54) outputs a set of chip IDs read by antennas (511, 513) and area IDs corresponding to the antennas (511, 513) to the management control device (56). In the example of FIG. 29, the RF control device (54) obtains a combination of chip IDs “C00001” to “C00005” and area ID “Area 2”, and a combination of chip IDs “C20001” to “C20100” and area ID “Area T” (area ID representing the chip tray (12)), and outputs this to the management control device (56).
[0308] If this player wins the game, as shown in FIG. 30, a payout chip (832) is paid out (repaid) from the chip tray (12) by the dealer and placed next to the betting chip (831) in the betting area (41b). Then, the RF control device (54) obtains combinations of chip IDs “C00001” to “C00005” and “C20001” to “C20005” with area ID “Area 2”, and combinations of chip IDs “C20006” to “C20100” with area ID “Area T”, and these are output to the management control device (56).
[0309] The management control device (56) obtains the user ID associated with the chip ID by referring to the database (57) for all read chip IDs. Then, the management control device (56) updates the database (57) to make the user IDs of multiple chip IDs associated with the same area ID the same user ID by referring to the combination of chip ID and area ID obtained from the RF control device (54) and, if the user IDs are different.
[0310] Specifically, the management control device (56) unifies the user IDs of chip IDs that are set with the same area ID by re-entering the user ID of the casino or dealer as the user ID of a plurality of organic substitute currencies (83) read from the area ID of the same betting area (41), where there is a user ID of the player and a user ID of the casino or dealer.
[0311] Meanwhile, if the player loses the game, the betting chips (831) are collected by the dealer into the chip tray (12) as shown in FIG. 31. Then, in the chip tray (12), "C00001" to "C00005" are read as chip IDs in addition to "C20001" to "C20100". The RF control device (54) obtains a set of these chip IDs "C20001" to "C20100" and "C00001" to "C00005" and the area ID "Area T" of the chip tray (12), and outputs this to the management control device (56).
[0312] The management control device (56) obtains a user ID associated with a chip ID by referring to the database (57) for all read chip IDs. Then, the management control device (56) refers to the combination of chip ID and area ID obtained from the RF control device (54), and for multiple chip IDs that are set with the same area ID, if the user IDs are different, updates the database (57) to make their user IDs the same user ID.
[0313] Specifically, the management control device (56) makes all chip IDs associated with the area ID of the chip tray (12) into the user IDs of the casino or dealer when there are user IDs of a player and user IDs of a casino or dealer among the user IDs of a plurality of organic substitute currency (83) read from the area ID of the chip tray (12), by rewriting the player's user ID as the casino or dealer's user ID.
[0314] By the above processing of the management control device (56), the user ID stored in the database (57) is updated according to the actual holder. That is, in this embodiment, for organic substitute currency (83) associated with different user IDs in the same area, the database (57) is re-entered so that they are unified to one of the user IDs according to the area. Therefore, the change of holders by the game played on the organic table (4004) can be traced without using the player-specific system described above, and without the management control device (56) being aware of the progress of the game (betting phase, game phase, liquidation phase).
[0315] Also, in the above example, the management control device (56) determines that the payout chip (831) is the payout chip (831) based on the fact that it is read from the betting area (41) and that the user ID in the database (57) is "D", and rewrites the user ID as the player's user ID, but instead, the chip ID of the payout chip (832) may be determined based on the difference of the chip IDs read from the chip tray (12) before and after payment.
[0316] For example, in the examples of FIG. 29 and FIG. 30, prior to payment, chip IDs “C20001” to “C20100” are read from the chip tray (12) as shown in FIG. 29, whereas after payment, chip IDs “C20006” to “C20100” are read from the chip tray (12) as shown in FIG. 30. Accordingly, the management control device (56) can determine from this difference that chip IDs “C20001” to “C20005” have been paid.
[0317] (Example 4)
[0318] FIG. 32 is a diagram showing the configuration of a management system of the fourth example of the fourth embodiment. The management system (140) is equipped with a player-specific system, a database (57), and a card distribution device (electronic shoe) (4003) in addition to the configuration of the management system (110) of the first example. Also, on the organic table (4004), pay areas (42a to 42e) (hereinafter collectively referred to as "pay areas (42)") are formed on the dealer side of the betting area (41) of each player position. Also, in the pay areas (42a to 42e), antennas (512a to 512e) (hereinafter collectively referred to as "antennas (512)") are formed corresponding to each area.
[0319] When the dealer makes a payment (repayment) of the organic substitute currency (83) to the winning player (82) of the game, the dealer places the organic substitute currency (83) taken from the chip tray (12) into the winning player (82)'s pay area (42) and then places it in the winning player (82)'s betting area (41).
[0320] The camera (52) of this example also photographs the betting chips (831) placed in the betting area (41) in addition to the player (82). Furthermore, the image recognition device (55) performs image recognition processing not only on the player's face but also on the betting chips (831) in the betting area (41), recognizes which betting target (player, banker, tie, player pair, banker pair, etc.) the betting chips (831) in each betting area (41) are bet on within the betting area (41), and outputs the recognition result as the betting content ("Betting" in FIG. 32).
[0321] Additionally, the camera that captures the face of the player (82) and the camera that captures the betting chip (831) may be different cameras. Also, the image recognition device that identifies the player based on the image of the player's face and the image recognition device that recognizes the betting content based on the image of the betting chip (831) may be different devices.
[0322] In this example, the card distribution device (4003) determines the progress of the game (i.e., whether it is betting, playing, or liquidation) and outputs it to the RF control device (54). The card distribution device (4003) determines that the game has started when the first card is drawn, and determines that the game has ended based on the reading result of the drawn card according to the game rules of Baccarat. Also, the card distribution device (4003) determines that liquidation has ended and betting has started when the game start button is pressed.
[0323] Also, the card distribution device (4003) determines game results such as Player's win, Banker's win, Tie, Player's pair, Banker's pair, etc., according to the rules of the baccarat game by reading at least the rank of the drawn card.
[0324] The management control device (56) determines which player position receives a payout based on the betting details obtained from the image recognition device (55) and the game results obtained from the card distribution device (4003). The management control device (56) also obtains the user ID of each player for each player position from the image recognition device (55) or the card reader (53), and determines which player receives a payout based on this information as well.
[0325] The RF control device (54) activates the antenna (512) of the pay area (42) when the game progress received from the card distribution device (4003) is being cleared, and performs reading and writing to the RFID tag of the organic substitute currency (83).
[0326] The management control device (56), by referring to the database (57), if the user ID associated with the chip ID of the payout chip (832) read from the pay area (42) is the user ID of the casino or dealer, then rewrites that user ID as the user ID associated with the chip ID of the betting chip (831) placed in the corresponding betting area (41).
[0327] Additionally, when the dealer retrieves the betting chip (831) of the losing player, the antenna (512) of the pay area (42) may read the chip ID of the betting chip (831), but in this case, the chip ID read in the pay area (42) matches the chip ID read in the betting area (41) immediately preceding it, so it is determined that the chip ID was read in the pay area (42) at the time of retrieval, and in this case, the user ID of the organic substitute currency (83) read in the pay area (42) is not re-entered.
[0328] In addition, in this example, the management system (140) is described as having a player-specific system, a database (57), and a card distribution device (electronic shoe) (4003). However, in a management system that does not have a player-specific system, a database (57), and a card distribution device (electronic shoe) (4003) as in the first example, the pay area (42) and the corresponding antenna (512) may be formed as in this example to perform the update of the user ID.
[0329] In the management system (140) of the present example, by forming a pay area (42) and distinguishing it from the betting area (41), reading and writing of the RFID tag of the organic substitute currency (83) can be performed, thereby enabling high-speed reading and writing of the payout chip (832) paid from the chip tray (12). That is, as in the first to third examples above, if reading and writing are performed on the payout chip (832) using the same antenna (512) as the betting chip (831), it is necessary to read and write the betting chip (831) in order to read and write the payout chip (832), which takes time. However, in the pay area (42), reading and writing only need to be performed on the payout chip (832), so reading and writing can be performed in a relatively short time, and there is no major hindrance to the operation of the game.
[0330] (Example 5)
[0331] FIG. 33 is a diagram showing the configuration of the management system of the fifth example of the fourth embodiment. The management system (150) has the same configuration as the management system (140) of the fourth example shown in FIG. 32. That is, in addition to the configuration of the management system (110) of the first example, the management system (150) is equipped with a player-specific system, a database (57), and a card distribution device (electronic shoe) (4003).
[0332] The camera (52) of this example also photographs the betting chips (831) placed in the betting area (41) in addition to the player (82). Furthermore, the image recognition device (55) performs image recognition processing on the betting chips (831) in the betting area (41) as well as on the player's face, recognizes which betting target (player, banker, tie, player pair, banker pair, etc.) the betting chips (831) in each betting area (41) are bet on within the betting area (41), and outputs the recognition result as the betting content ("Betting" in FIG. 33).
[0333] Additionally, the camera that captures the face of the player (82) and the camera that captures the betting chip (831) may be different cameras. Also, the image recognition device that identifies the player based on the image of the player's face and the image recognition device that recognizes the betting content based on the image of the betting chip (831) may be different devices.
[0334] The card distribution device (4003) determines game results including Player's Win, Banker's Win, Tie, Player's Pair, and Banker's Pair according to the rules of the baccarat game by reading at least the rank of the cards drawn in order.
[0335] The management control device (56) determines which player position receives a payout (reimbursement) based on the betting details obtained from the image recognition device (55) and the game results obtained from the card distribution device (4003). The management control device (56) also obtains the user ID of each player for each player position from the image recognition device (55) or the card reader (53), and determines which player receives a payout (reimbursement) based on this information as well.
[0336] In the management control device (56), for each betting area (41), a set of area IDs of the betting area (41) and chip IDs of the betting chips (831) read from the betting area (41) is input from the RF control device (54). As described above, the management control device (56) determines which play position receives a payout, so it refers to the database (57) to obtain a user ID associated with the chip ID read from the play position receiving the payout, and updates the user ID associated with the chip ID of the payout chip (832) to the obtained user ID.
[0337] Additionally, the management control device (56) recognizes the chip ID that is not read from the chip tray (12) before and after payment as the chip ID of the payout chip (832). Also, if there are multiple players receiving the payment, the dealer makes payments in order from the end in a predetermined direction (for example, makes payments in order from the end on the dealer's right side toward the end on the left side). In this way, even if there are multiple players receiving the payment, it is possible to determine which player position or player the payout chip (832) taken from the chip tray (12) was taken to pay.
[0338] Also, since the management control device (56) can determine the play position of the winning player, it updates the database (57) so that the user ID associated with the chip ID read from the betting area (41) of the play position is "D" representing the casino or dealer.
[0339] As described above, in this example, the management control device (56) can determine which player or player position's betting chip (831) is paid for and which player or player position's betting chip (831) is recovered by identifying the betting details and game results, and can also identify the chip IDs of their betting chips (831) and payout chips (832), so that in the database (57), the user ID associated with which chip ID is changed and also determine which user ID should be changed. By doing so, the trace of the holder of the organic substitute currency (83) can be performed.
[0340] (Example 6)
[0341] FIG. 34 is a diagram showing the configuration of the management system of the 6th example of the 4th embodiment. The management system (160) has the same configuration as the 2nd example. In Baccarat, as described above, a plurality of play positions are formed on the organic table (4004), and a betting area (41) is formed for each play position at a location corresponding to each play position on the organic table (4004). In principle, one player plays at one play position.
[0342] However, when all play positions are full, a player (back betting player) appears behind the player (sitting player) playing in the play position and bets on the betting area (41) assigned to the sitting player, and depending on the casino or organic table (4004), such betting is allowed. Through back betting, multiple organic substitute currencies (83) with different user IDs are bet on the same betting area. The management system (160) of this example enables the trace of the holder of the organic substitute currency (83) even in such cases.
[0343] In the management system (160) of this example, just like in the second example, the user ID of the organic substitute currency (83) is stored in the rewriteable area (22) of the RFID tag (2) of the organic substitute currency (83) and does not use a database. However, there is a player identification system that identifies the player.
[0344] In the example of FIG. 35, a betting chip (831a) of user ID “P1” and a betting chip (831b) of user ID “P2” are bet in the same betting area (41b). At this time, “P1” and “P2” are read as user IDs of organic substitute currency (83) in the betting area (41b).
[0345] FIGS. 36 to 38 are drawings illustrating an example of payment when both players win the game. First, as shown in FIG. 35, payment is made to the player (82a) with user ID “P1”. At this time, the management system (160) cannot distinguish whether payment has been made to the player (82a) with user ID “P1” or to the player (82b) with user ID “P2”, and also cannot make the entry information different for multiple organic substitute currencies (83) within one betting area (41). Therefore, the management control device (56) controls the RF control device (54) to re-enter the user ID as “P1 or P2” for all organic substitute currencies (83) in the betting area (41b).
[0346] When the player (82a) who received the payment takes their betting chips (831a) and payout chips (832a) from the betting area (41b), as shown in FIG. 37, betting chips (831b) with user ID “P1 or P2” remain in the betting area (41b). The dealer confirms that the player (82a) has taken the organic substitute currency (83) and pays the payout chips (832b) with user ID “D” to the betting chips (831b) as shown in FIG. 38. At this time, the management control device (56) controls the RF control device (54) to rewrite the user ID to “P1 or P2” for all organic substitute currency (83) in the betting area (41).
[0347] Thus, players (82a and 82b) who bet on the same betting area (41) all come to possess organic substitute currency (83) with “P1 or P2” recorded as user ID.
[0348] If these players (82a and 82b) again use their organic substitute currency (83) to place a bet on the same betting area (41), then "P1 or P2" is recorded as a user ID on any of the betting chips (831a and 831b). Alternatively, some betting chips may contain organic substitute currency (83) with a user ID of "P1" or "P2". Even in these cases, when making a payment according to the result of the game, the management control device (56) controls the RF control device (54) to selectively record "P1 or P2" as the user ID of all organic substitute currency (83) placed in the betting area (41) at the time of payment.
[0349] In addition, when a betting chip (831) with user ID “P1 or P2” is retrieved into the chip tray (12), “D” representing the casino or dealer is entered as the user ID.
[0350] After that, when a player (82a, 82b) bets an organic substitute currency (83) in which multiple users' user IDs are optionally recorded in the betting area (41) alone, if the user ID of the player specified by the player-specific system matches any of the user IDs of the options, the management control device (56) controls the RF control device (54) to rewrite the optional user ID of the organic substitute currency (83) to the corresponding matching user ID.
[0351] For example, when a player (82a) places a bet on an organic substitute currency (83) with "P1 or P2" recorded as a user ID in the betting area (41), the user ID "P1 or P2" is read from the betting chip (831) of the betting area (41) by the RF control device (54), and the user ID of the player who placed the bet on the betting area (41) is recognized as "P1" by the player identification system. In this case, since the user ID "P1" matches, the management control device (56) controls the RF control device (54) to rewrite the user ID of the betting chip (831) of the betting area (41) as "P1".
[0352] Meanwhile, when a player who owns an organic substitute currency (83) in which a user ID is optionally recorded places a bet, and a player with a user ID that is not an option places a bet in the same betting area (41) and receives a payout according to the result of the game, the user ID of the organic substitute currency (83) is optionally entered so that the user ID of the player in question is also included in the option.
[0353] For example, when a player (82a) bets an organic substitute currency (83) with "P1 or P2" recorded as a user ID in the betting area (41), and another player bets an organic substitute currency (83) with "P3" recorded as a user ID in the same betting area (41), when a payout is made according to the result of the game, the management control device (56) controls the RF control device (54) to rewrite the user ID of all organic substitute currencies (83), including the payout chip in the betting area (41), to "P1 or P2 or P3".
[0354] As described above, in this example, by allowing optional recording as a user ID, it is possible to trace the holder even when multiple players bet on the same betting area. Additionally, by using a player-specific system, it becomes possible to definitively re-enter the user ID that was optionally recorded.
[0355] In addition, when multiple players are betting on the same betting area (41) and some players win and some players lose, the betting chips of the losing players are recovered first. Therefore, when the recovered betting chips are read from the chip tray (12), "D" is recorded as the user ID, and the above processing is performed on the betting chips that receive the payout chips (832) and the payout chips that are paid for them.
[0356] (Example 7)
[0357] FIG. 39 is a diagram showing the configuration of the management system of the 7th example of the 4th embodiment. The management system (170) has the same configuration as the management system (130) of the 3rd example. In the management system (170), even when multiple players place bets on the same betting area (41), the trace of the holder of the organic substitute currency (83) is possible.
[0358] FIGS. 40 to 44 are drawings illustrating an example of updating a database (57). When a player (82a) places a betting chip (831a) in a betting area (41b) and a player (82b) places a betting chip (831b) in the same betting area (41b), as shown in FIG. 40, the chip IDs “C00001” to “C00005” of the betting chip (831a) and the chip IDs “C10001” to “C10005” of the betting chip (831b) are read from the betting area (41b) as user IDs, and are output to the management control device (56) as a combination with the area ID “Area 2” of the corresponding betting area (41). Also, in the chip tray (12), chip IDs “C20001” to “C20100” are read, and in the management control device (56), a combination with the area ID “Arrea T” of the chip tray (12) is obtained.
[0359] As shown in FIG. 40, at this point in time, in the database (57), the chip IDs “C00001” to “C00005” are associated with the user ID “P1”, the chip IDs “C10001” to “C10005” are associated with the user ID “P2”, and the chip IDs “C20001” to “C20100” are associated with the user ID “D”.
[0360] As a result of the game, if both players (82a and 82b) win, as shown in FIG. 41, the dealer first makes a payment on either the betting chip (831a) or the betting chip (831b). At this time, in the betting area (41b), the chip IDs “C00001” to “C00005” of the betting chip (831a) and “C10001” to “C10005” of the betting chip (831b) are read, and the chip IDs “C20001” to “C20005” of the payout chip (832a) are output to the management control device (56) as a combination with the area ID “Area 2” of the betting area (41).
[0361] At this stage, the management control device (56) does not update the database (57) because it cannot yet determine whether the payout chip (832a) has been paid for the betting chip (831a) with chip IDs “C00001” to “C00005” or the betting chip (831b) with chip IDs “C10001” to “C10005”.
[0362] Next, when the player (82a) takes the betting chips (831a) and the payout chips (832a) paid for them from the betting area (41b), as shown in FIG. 41, only the chip IDs “C10001” to “C10005” of the remaining betting chips (831b) are read from the betting area (41b). Based on this change, the management control device (56) determines that the payout chips (832a) with chip IDs “C20001” to “C20005” read from the betting area (41b) have been paid out to the betting chips (831a) with chip IDs “C00001” to “C00005”, and rewrites the user ID associated with chip IDs “C20001” to “C20005” in the database (57) from “D” to “P1”, that is, the user ID associated with the betting chips (831a) removed from the betting area (41b) along with the payout chips (832a) with chip IDs “C20001” to “C20005”.
[0363] The dealer confirms that the betting chip (831a) and the payout chip (832a) paid for it are removed from the betting area (41b), and pays the payout chip (832b) for the betting chip (831b) to the same betting area (41b) as shown in FIG. 43. Then, in the betting area (41b), the chip IDs “C10001” to “C10005” of the betting chip (831b) and the chip IDs “C20006” to “C20010” of the payout chip (832b) are read and recorded in the management control device (56) in combination with the area ID “Area 2” of the betting area (41).
[0364] After that, when the player (82b) takes the betting chip (831b) and the payout chip (832b), as shown in FIG. 44, the chip ID is not read in the betting area (41b), and only the chip ID read from the chip tray (12) is entered into the management control device (56). Based on this change, the management control device (56) determines that the payout chip (832b) of chip ID “C20006” to “C20010” has been handed to the same player as the player of chip ID “C10001” to “C10005”, and updates the database (57) so that the user ID associated with chip ID “C20006” to “C20010” in the database is the same as the user ID associated with chip ID “C10001” to “C10005”.
[0365] As described above, the management system (170) of the present example detects that the betting chip (831) and the payout chip (832) have been removed from the betting area together, and updates the database (57) so that the user ID of the payout chip (832) becomes the same as the user ID of the betting chip (831). Therefore, even when multiple players' substitute currency (83) is bet on the same betting area (41), by making payments to those players in order, it is possible to identify which player the payout chip (832) was paid to and update the database (57), thereby making it possible to trace the holder of the substitute currency.
[0366] (Example 8)
[0367] FIG. 45 is a diagram showing the configuration of the management system of the eighth example of the fourth embodiment. The management system (180) has the same configuration as the management system (140) of the fourth example. However, in the management system (180), the player pair area (44), the tie area (45), and the banker pair area (46) are formed as betting areas on the organic table (4004). Also, antennas (514, 515, 516) are formed on the organic table (4004) in correspondence with the player pair area (44), the tie area (45), and the banker pair area (46).
[0368] Each of these areas (44 to 46) is divided into sections for each play position within the area, and when a player bets on these areas (44 to 46), the player places a betting chip in a position (section) corresponding to their play position within these areas.
[0369] That is, the Player Pair Area (44), Tie Area (45), and Banker Pair Area (46) are each shared betting areas used by multiple players. In the example of FIG. 45, players (82a to 82c) are participating in the game, and among them, players (82b and 82c) are each betting chips (831b and 831c) in the Tie Area (45).
[0370] In this example, for the public betting area (44 to 46), the trace of the holder of the organic substitute currency (83) can be performed in the same way as in the 6th or 7th example. Additionally, even if the management system (180) does not have a database (57), the trace of the holder of the organic substitute currency (83) can be performed in the same way as in the 6th example, and even if the management system (180) does not have a player-specific system, the trace of the holder of the organic substitute currency (83) can be performed in the same way as in the 7th example for the public betting area.
[0371] (Example 9)
[0372] FIG. 46 is a diagram showing the configuration of the management system of the ninth example of the fourth embodiment. The management system (190) is equipped with a player-specific system. In this example, the trace of the organic substitute currency (83) is performed without using the database (57). Also, in the organic table (4004), pay areas (42a to 42e) and antennas (512a to 512e) corresponding to them are formed. Also, in the fixed information (3) of the RFID tag (2) of the organic substitute currency (83), information indicating the amount (value) of the said organic substitute currency (83) is stored, and in the variable information (4), the user ID of the holder is stored.
[0373] In addition, in this example, a database (57) may be used, in which case a chip ID is stored in the organic substitute currency (83), and the amount (value) of the organic substitute currency (83) and the user ID of the holder are stored in the database (57) in relation to the chip ID.
[0374] As shown in FIG. 47, when player (82a)'s betting chips (831a) (5 chips with an amount of “100”) and player (82b)'s betting chips (831b) (2 chips with an amount of “1000”) are placed in the betting area (41b), then in this betting area (41b), 5 organic substitute coins (83) with an amount of “100” and user ID “P1” are read, and 2 organic substitute coins (83) with an amount of “1000” and user ID “P2” are read, and these are output to the management control device (56) together with the area ID “Area 2” of the betting area (41).
[0375] The management control device (56) detects the betting amount for each player by calculating the total value of the betting chips for each player for each betting area (41). In the case of FIG. 47, the management control device (56) detects that the betting amount of user ID “P1” is “500” and the betting amount of user ID “P2” is “2000”.
[0376] As a result of the game, if both players (82a and 82b) win, the dealer pays out (recovers) each of the betting chips (831a and 831b) in order. As shown in FIG. 48, first, when paying out the payout chip (832a) for the betting chip (831a), the dealer places the payout chip (832a) in the pay area (42b).
[0377] At this time, the RF control device (54) reads the organic substitute currency (83) in the pay area (42b), reads that there are 5 organic substitute currency (83) of the amount “100”, and outputs this to the management control device (56). The management control device (56) detects the payment amount by calculating the sum of the amounts of the payout chips (832a) read in the pay area (42b).
[0378] The management control device (56) compares the payout amount of the payout chip (832a) with the betting amount of each player in the betting area (41b) and identifies the player whose betting amount matches the payout amount. In the case of FIG. 48, five payout chips (832a) with an amount of “100” are read in the payout area (42b), and it is detected that the payout amount is “500”. The management control device (56) determines that this payout amount “500” matches the betting amount “500” of the betting chip (831a) of user ID “P1”, and rewrites the user ID of the payout chip (832a) to “P1”.
[0379] After that, when the player (82a) takes the payout chip (832a) and the betting chip (831a), the player (82b)'s betting chip (831b) remains in the betting area (41b), as shown in FIG. 49. When the dealer places the payout chip (832b) to be paid for this betting chip (831b) in the pay area (42b), the management control device (56) detects the payout amount of the payout chip (832b) by calculating the sum of the amounts of this payout chip (832b).
[0380] The management control device (56) compares the payout amount of the payout chip (832b) with the betting amount of each player in the betting area (41b) and identifies the player whose betting amount matches the payout amount. In the case of FIG. 49, two payout chips (832b) with an amount of “1000” are read in the pay area (42b), and it is detected that the payout amount is “2000”. The management control device (56) determines that this payout amount “2000” matches the betting amount “2000” of the betting chip (831b) of user ID “P2”, and rewrites the user ID of the payout chip (832b) to “P2”.
[0381] As described above, in the management control system (190) of the present example, even when multiple players are betting on the same betting area (41) and their betting amounts are different, it is determined which player the payout chip is being paid to based on the betting amount and the payout amount of the payout chip.
[0382] (Example 10)
[0383] In the above 1st to 9th examples, if the player (82) is a non-member who is not registered as a member, the player (82) cannot be identified by the player identification system because no user ID is assigned to such non-member. Also, as described above, for organic substitute currency (83) owned by a non-member, since a valid user ID cannot be stored in the RFID tag (2) or database (57), "Unknown" is recorded as the user ID.
[0384] When the management system pays a payout chip (832) to a non-member player, it sets the user ID of the payout chip (832) to “Unknown,” and when it recovers a betting chip (831) from a non-member player, it sets the user ID of the betting chip (831) to “D.”
[0385] In cases where a member player and a non-member player bet on the same betting area (41), if both players win the game, the dealer may pay out under the rule that the non-member player is always paid out first, or the member player is always paid out first.
[0386] For example, if a rule is in operation that payment is always made to non-members first, the management system rewrites the user ID of the first payout chip (832) paid as "Unknown", and for the payout chip (832) paid later, it rewrites it as the user ID of a member player using the above example.
[0387] Also, for example, if a rule is in operation that always pays out to the member first, the management system rewrites the user ID for the first payout chip (832) paid out to the user ID identified from the betting chip (831), and rewrites the user ID for the later payout chip (832) paid out to “Unknown”.
[0388] In addition, when a dealer identifies a player using a card authentication system, they can identify which player is a member by scanning the member's card (81), but when a dealer identifies a player using a face recognition system, they cannot identify which player is a member. Therefore, visual information indicating the player position or betting area where the user ID is recognized as a result of recognition by the face recognition system may be displayed to the dealer on a monitor or the like.
[0389] (Example 11)
[0390] FIG. 50 is a drawing showing an example of a betting area in the eleventh example of the fourth embodiment. In this example, the betting area (41) of each play position is divided into a betting area (411) for members and a betting area (412) for non-members, and the antenna is also divided into an antenna (5111) for members and an antenna (5112) for non-members.
[0391] The management control device (56), by controlling the RF control device (54), rewrites the user ID of the organic substitute currency (83) for the betting chips (831) bet in the betting area (411) for members as in the first to ninth examples above, and rewrites the user ID of the payout chips (832) paid for the betting chips (831) bet in the betting area (412) for non-members to "Unknown".
[0392] According to the present example, organic substitute currency (83) for which the user ID assigned to the player is stored in itself or in the database (57) and organic substitute currency (83) for which the user ID assigned to the player is not stored in itself or in the database (57) (the user ID is “Unknown”) are not mixed and read, so the trace of organic substitute currency (83) for which the user ID assigned to the player is stored in itself or in the database (57) can be effectively performed.
[0393] In addition, in this example, instead of antennas (5111 and 5112), one antenna may be formed across the betting area (411) for members and the betting area (412) for non-members. In this case, when organic substitute currency (83) is bet in the betting area (411) for members and the betting area (412) for non-members respectively, the dealer can recognize which betting chip (831) belongs to the member and which betting chip (831) belongs to the non-member.
[0394] And, when making a payout for any betting chip (831), the dealer may make the payout under an operation rule that pays out to the member's betting chip (831) first. By doing so, the management system can determine that the payout chip (832) paid out first was paid to the member. Additionally, the dealer may make the payout according to an operation rule that pays out to the non-member's betting chip (831) first. In this case, the management system can determine that the payout chip (832) paid out first was paid to the non-member.
[0395] FIGS. 51a and FIGS. 51b are drawings showing other examples of betting areas in the eleventh example of the fourth embodiment. In this example, the betting area (41) for each play position is optionally set to a betting area (41) for members as shown in FIG. 51a, or a betting area (41) for non-members as shown in FIG. 51b.
[0396] Near each betting area (41), a display unit (413) is formed to variably indicate whether the betting area (41) is set for members or for non-members. This display unit (413) is installed under the rasa of the organic table (4004), and the display information is projected from the rasa so that it can be seen by the player.
[0397] Additionally, the means for visually indicating whether each betting area (41) is set for members or non-members is not limited to a display (413) embedded under the rasa of the organic table (4004). For example, whether each betting area (41) is set for members or non-members may be indicated by a monitor installed on the organic table (4004) to be visible to the player.
[0398] The management control device (56), by controlling the RF control device (54), rewrites the user ID of the organic substitute currency (83) for the betting chips (831) bet on it when the betting area (41) is set for members, as in the first to ninth examples above, and when the betting area (41) is set for non-members, rewrites the user ID of the payout chips (832) paid for the betting chips (831) bet on it to “Unknown”.
[0399] In this example, organic substitute currency (83) for which the user ID assigned to the player is stored in itself or in the database (57) and organic substitute currency (83) for which the user ID assigned to the player is not stored in itself or in the database (57) (the user ID is “Unknown”) are not mixed and read, so the trace of organic substitute currency (83) for which the user ID assigned to the player is stored in itself or in the database (57) can be effectively performed.
[0400] (Example 12)
[0401] In the above 1st to 9th examples, even when an exchange of substitute currency (83) for organic use is carried out between the dealer and the player on the organic table (4003), it is possible to trace the holder of the substitute currency (83) for organic use. In this case, the management system is equipped with a means for determining the progress of the game (i.e., whether during betting, during the game, or during liquidation). A card distribution device (4003) may be used as such a means for determining the progress, but any other means may be used.
[0402] In the management system of the present example, the management control device (56) controls the RF control device (54) during betting to periodically perform readings on each antenna at predetermined time intervals. The management control device (56) determines that the exchange of organic substitute currency (83) is being performed when, during betting, an organic substitute currency (83) with a user ID of “D” is read in any betting area (41) or any pay area (42) (hereinafter referred to as the “reading area of the organic table (4004)”), and when an organic substitute currency (83) with a user ID of a user ID assigned to a member is read in the chip tray (12).
[0403] This is because, in the operation of Baccarat, during betting, there is no possibility of the substitute currency (83) being moved from the chip tray (12) to the organic table (4003) except for exchange, and the substitute currency (83) of the player on the organic table (4003) is not moved to the chip tray (12). Furthermore, since such movement of the substitute currency (83) is considered a fraudulent act when the game is in progress, the management control device (56) may output an alarm when it detects such movement of the substitute currency (83) during the game.
[0404] The management control device (56) determines that when a user ID is read from the chip tray (12) during betting, the user ID assigned to the member or an organic substitute currency (83) that is “Unknown” is an organic substitute currency (83) (chip before exchange) that has come out from the player to the organic table (4004) for exchange between chips.
[0405] Specifically, the management control device (56) determines that an exchange has occurred when the user ID assigned to the member or "Unknown" is read from the chip tray (12) during betting, if the user ID is stored in the database (57), and determines that an exchange has occurred when the number of organic substitute currency (83) read from the chip tray (12) decreases during betting, if the user ID is stored in the database (57). Alternatively, if the user ID is stored in the database (57), it may determine that an exchange has occurred when the number of organic substitute currency (83) read from the chip tray increases during betting.
[0406] Additionally, the management control device (56) determines that when a user ID, indicated by “D”, is held by the casino or dealer during betting, the organic substitute currency (83) is read in the reading area of the organic table (4004), the said organic substitute currency (83) is an organic substitute currency (83) (after exchange) given to the player in correspondence with the chip before exchange.
[0407] Specifically, if the user ID is stored in the organic substitute currency (83) itself, the management control device (56) determines that it is an exchange when the user ID “D” is read from the reading area of the organic table (4004) during betting, and if the user ID is stored in the database (57), the management control device (56) periodically performs a reading of the reading area of the organic table (4004) during betting, and by referring to the database (57) for each reading, determines that the organic substitute currency (83) with user ID “D” has been read from the reading area of the organic table (4004).
[0408] The management control device (56) rewrites the user ID of the chip before exchange to "D" representing a casino or dealer, and rewrites the user ID of the chip after exchange to the user ID of the chip before exchange. Specifically, if the user ID is stored in the RFID tag (2) of the organic substitute currency (83), the management control device (56) controls the RF control device (54) to rewrite the user ID stored in the corresponding chip before exchange and chip after exchange, and if the user ID is associated with the chip ID and stored in the database (57), the management control device (56) rewrites the user ID associated with the corresponding chip ID in the database (57).
[0409] Additionally, the management control device (56) may control the RF control device (54) to exchange their user IDs after specifying the chip before exchange and the chip after exchange (if the user ID is stored in the organic substitute currency (83)), or update the database (57) (if the user ID is stored in the database (57)).
[0410] Additionally, in the above embodiment, the member card (81) is a magnetic card and the card reader (53) is a magnetic card reader that reads information from the magnetic stripe of the member card (81); however, instead, an RFID tag may be embedded in the member card (81) and a user ID may be recorded on the said RFID tag. In this case, an RFID reader consisting of an antenna and an RF control device (54) is used as the card reader (53). Also, such an antenna may be formed at each play position. In this case, the player is allowed to read their member card (81) at each play position without handing it over to the dealer. At each antenna, the user ID read from the member card (81) is transmitted to the RF control device (54) along with information specifying the play position. Additionally, the antenna (511) formed in the betting area (41) and the RF control device (54) may be used as RFID readers for reading the member card (81). In this case, the player can have the antenna (511) read the user ID by placing the member card (81) in the betting area (41) in their play position.
