Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a busbar unit for a motor, and more specifically, to a busbar unit for a motor that can simplify the structure and improve design freedom and space utilization. Background Technology

[0003] Hybrid vehicles or electric vehicles, which are called eco-friendly vehicles, generate driving force through an electric motor (hereinafter referred to as a ‘drive motor’) that obtains rotational force from electric energy.

[0004] Generally, a drive motor includes a stator coupled to a housing and a rotor rotatably positioned inside the stator with a certain air gap.

[0005] The stator includes a stator core formed by laminating electrical steel sheets and stator coils wound on the stator core.

[0006] A busbar is provided at the top of the stator, and the stator coil is connected to an external power source through the busbar.

[0007] The busbar is formed with a structure containing multiple terminals inside a ring-shaped holder, and the terminals may consist of a combination of phase terminals to which U-phase, V-phase, and W-phase power is connected, and neutral terminals connecting the phase terminals.

[0008] The terminal portion of the terminal is fused with the stator coil, and after the terminal portion of the terminal is fused with the stator coil, an insulating material (e.g., epoxy) for insulation between terminals is applied to cover the terminal portion of the terminal.

[0009] Meanwhile, the busbar is positioned on the upper part of the stator along the axial direction of the stator, and as the thickness of the busbar (thickness along the axial direction of the stator) increases, the overall height of the motor (height along the axial direction of the stator) also increases; therefore, in order to miniaturize the motor, the thickness of the busbar must be minimized.

[0010] However, conventionally, the terminal portion is positioned above the stator coil, and since the stator coil is fused to the terminal portion above the stator coil, there is a problem in that it is difficult to lower the overall height of the motor because space (height) must be secured above the stator coil for the terminal portion to be positioned, no matter how much the thickness of the bus bar is reduced.

[0011] Accordingly, various studies have recently been conducted to reduce the thickness of busbars and miniaturize motors, but these efforts are still insufficient, and further development is required. The problem to be solved

[0013] The embodiment according to the present invention aims to provide a busbar unit for a motor that can simplify the structure and improve design freedom and space utilization.

[0014] In particular, the embodiment of the present invention aims to minimize the thickness of the busbar unit and contribute to the miniaturization of the motor.

[0015] In addition, the embodiments of the present invention aim to suppress deformation of the terminal portion and improve stability and reliability.

[0016] In addition, the embodiments of the present invention aim to simplify the manufacturing process and reduce the manufacturing time.

[0017] The problems intended to be solved in the embodiments are not limited thereto, and may also include objectives or effects that can be identified from the means of solving the problems or the embodiments described below. means of solving the problem

[0019] According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention for achieving the aforementioned objectives of the present invention, a busbar unit for a motor electrically connected to a motor comprising a stator wound with a coil comprises a terminal provided on the upper part of the stator and electrically connected to the coil in an outer region of the coil along the radial direction of the stator, and a holder supporting the terminal.

[0020] This is intended to simplify the structure of the busbar unit and improve design freedom and space utilization.

[0021] That is, the busbar is positioned on the upper (or lower) part of the stator along the axial direction of the stator, and as the thickness of the busbar (thickness along the axial direction of the stator) increases, the overall height of the motor (height along the axial direction of the stator) also increases; therefore, in order to miniaturize the motor, the thickness of the busbar must be minimized.

[0022] However, conventionally, the terminal portion is positioned above the stator coil, and since the stator coil is fused to the terminal portion above the stator coil, there is a problem in that it is difficult to lower the overall height of the motor because space (height) must be secured above the stator coil for the terminal portion to be positioned, no matter how much the thickness of the bus bar is reduced.

[0023] However, since the embodiment of the present invention connects the terminal and the coil in the outer region of the coil along the radial direction of the stator, it is not necessary to provide space for connecting the terminal and the coil (fusing) on the upper part of the coil, thereby making it possible to minimize the thickness of the busbar unit. Accordingly, it is possible to increase the space utilization of the upper region of the stator and improve design freedom, and to obtain advantageous effects such as minimizing the increase in motor size caused by mounting a busbar for implementing the motor control circuit and contributing to the miniaturization of the motor.

[0025] The terminal portion can be formed in various structures in which the end of the coil can be fused.

[0026] For example, the terminal portion includes a terminal body protruding from the upper part of the body, a first terminal projection protruding from the upper part of the terminal body, and a second terminal projection protruding from the upper part of the terminal body spaced apart from the first terminal projection, and the first terminal projection and the second terminal projection mutually cooperate to form a terminal groove in which a coil is received.

[0027] Preferably, the terminal groove comprises an entry portion having a first width and a restraining portion formed to have a second width smaller than the first width and extending from the lower part of the entry portion, and the coil is entered through the entry portion and restrained in the restraining portion.

[0028] In this way, by including an entry portion and a restraining portion having different widths in the terminal groove, it is possible to obtain the advantageous effect of ensuring smooth entry of the coil from the outside of the terminal groove into the inside of the terminal groove while stably maintaining the arrangement state of the coil placed in the terminal groove.

[0029] In particular, the end of the coil can be simply inserted into the terminal groove to secure it, and since the coil does not need to be supported and secured by a worker or a separate jig when the coil is placed in the terminal groove (e.g., during welding), the manufacturing process can be simplified and the production time can be shortened, which is an advantageous effect.

[0031] According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the holder is formed to wrap around the circumference of the body, and the terminal portion is exposed on the upper part of the holder.

[0033] According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the busbar unit may include a locking portion that restricts the movement of the terminal portion relative to the holder.

[0034] In this way, by providing a locking part, the movement of the terminal part relative to the holder can be restricted, thereby obtaining the advantageous effect of suppressing the position of the terminal part from unintentionally twisting or deforming during the injection molding of the holder.

[0035] The locking portion can be formed in various structures capable of restricting the movement of the terminal portion relative to the holder.

[0036] For example, the locking portion may include a locking groove formed in the holder and a locking projection that protrudes from the terminal body and is received in the locking groove.

[0037] Preferably, a pair of locking grooves and locking protrusions are provided symmetrically with respect to the terminal body. In this way, by forming locking protrusions on both sides of the terminal body and ensuring that each locking protrusion is constrained to a locking groove formed in the holder, an advantageous effect of more reliably suppressing left-right movement of the terminal part can be obtained.

[0039] According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the busbar unit may include a support member that is provided in a holder and supports a coil.

[0040] Preferably, the support member is formed on the inner surface of the holder corresponding to the terminal member. By providing the support member corresponding to the terminal member in this way, an advantageous effect can be obtained of more accurately guiding and supporting the end of the coil toward the terminal member.

[0042] The support member can be formed into various structures capable of guiding and supporting the forming of the coil.

[0043] For example, the support member includes a first support projection formed on the holder and a second support projection formed on the holder spaced apart from the first support projection, and the first support projection and the second support projection mutually form a support groove in which the coil is supported.

[0044] Preferably, the first support projection and the second support projection include a first projection portion formed on the inner circumference of the holder along the axial direction of the stator, and a second projection portion connected to the first projection portion and formed on the upper surface of the holder along the radial direction of the stator.

[0045] In this way, since the first support projection and the second support projection include the first projection portion and the second projection portion, the coil can be supported along the axial direction of the stator and at the same time supported along the radial direction of the stator, thereby obtaining an advantageous effect of more accurately guiding and supporting the forming of the coil from the axial direction of the stator toward the radial direction of the stator.

[0047] According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the stator may include a plurality of segmented cores arranged to form a ring shape in a cooperative manner, and a support ring arranged to surround the outer surface of the plurality of segmented cores. Effects of the invention

[0049] As described above, according to an embodiment of the present invention, the structure can be simplified and advantageous effects such as improved design freedom and space utilization can be obtained.

[0050] In particular, according to an embodiment of the present invention, the thickness of the busbar unit can be minimized, and an advantageous effect contributing to the miniaturization of the motor can be obtained.

[0051] In addition, according to an embodiment of the present invention, deformation of the terminal portion can be suppressed, and advantageous effects such as improved stability and reliability can be obtained.

[0052] In addition, according to an embodiment of the present invention, advantageous effects can be obtained in simplifying the manufacturing process and shortening the manufacturing time. Brief explanation of the drawing

[0065] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 9, a busbar unit (10) for a motor according to an embodiment of the present invention is electrically connected to a motor including a stator (20) on which a coil (60) is wound, and includes a terminal (100) provided on the upper part of the stator (20) and electrically connected to the coil (60) in an outer region of the coil (60) along the radial direction of the stator (20), and a holder (200) that supports the terminal (100).

[0066] For reference, the busbar unit (10) for a motor according to an embodiment of the present invention can be mounted on various motors according to required conditions and design specifications, and the present invention is not limited or restricted by the type and structure of the motor.

[0067] For example, a motor to which a busbar unit (10) according to an embodiment of the present invention is applied can be used as a drive motor for a hybrid vehicle and / or an electric vehicle that obtains driving force from electric energy in an eco-friendly vehicle.

[0068] For example, the drive motor is an inner rotor type synchronous motor and includes a stator (20) installed inside a motor housing (not shown) and a rotor (not shown) rotatably installed inside the stator (20) with a certain air gap, and the busbar unit (10) according to an embodiment of the present invention can be connected to the stator (20).

[0070] The stator (20) can be housed inside a housing (not shown), and a coil (60) is wound on the stator (20) to induce electrical interaction with the rotor.

[0071] For example, the stator (20) includes a plurality of segmented cores (30) arranged to form a ring shape in a cooperative manner, and a support ring (40) arranged to surround the outer surface of the plurality of segmented cores (30).

[0072] The number and structure of the divided cores (30) may vary depending on the required conditions and design specifications, and the present invention is not limited or restricted by the number and structure of the divided cores (30).

[0073] More specifically, the split core (30) can be formed by stacking a plurality of electrical steel sheets along the axial direction of the rotor.

[0074] A bobbin (50) (e.g., made of plastic material) is formed around the circumference of each divided core (30), and a coil (60) is wound around the circumference of the bobbin (50).

[0075] According to another embodiment of the present invention, it is also possible to configure the stator with only a single core.

[0077] The rotor is configured to rotate through electrical interaction with the stator (20).

[0078] For example, the rotor may include a rotor core (not shown) and a magnet (not shown). The rotor core may be provided in a structure formed by stacking multiple circular plates in the form of thin steel plates, or in a structure in the form of a single tube.

[0079] A hole (not shown) for coupling a shaft may be formed in the center of the rotor. A projection (not shown) for guiding a magnet may protrude from the outer surface of the rotor core. Magnets may be attached to the outer surface of the rotor core at regular intervals along the circumferential direction of the rotor core.

[0080] Additionally, the rotor may include a can member (not shown) positioned to surround the magnet to prevent the magnet from detaching.

[0082] The busbar unit (10) includes a terminal (100) and a holder (200) and is positioned on the upper part of the stator (20).

[0083] The terminal (100) is provided to electrically connect the coil (60) of the stator (20) to an external power source.

[0084] Referring to FIGS. 2 and FIGS. 4, the terminal (100) may be at least one of a phase terminal (U-phase terminal, V-phase terminal, W-phase terminal) connected to a U-phase, V-phase, and W-phase power source, and a neutral terminal electrically connected to the phase terminal.

[0086] More specifically, the terminal (100) includes a body (110) accommodated inside a holder (200), and a terminal portion (120) protruding from the upper part of the body (110) to which a coil (60) is connected.

[0087] The structure and shape of the body (110) may be varied according to the required conditions and design specifications. For example, the body (110) may have a single-layer structure and may be formed as a band-shaped member in the shape of an arc (or ring) having a predetermined curvature.

[0088] According to another embodiment of the present invention, it is also possible to form the body into a double-layer structure (multi-layer structure) having a folded portion.

[0090] The terminal portion (120) is provided to protrude from the upper part of the body (110), and the coil (60) of the stator (20) is fused (connected) to the terminal portion (120).

[0091] The terminal portion (120) can be formed in various structures such that the end portion (60a) of the coil (60) can be fused, and the present invention is not limited or restricted by the structure and shape of the terminal portion (120).

[0092] For example, the terminal portion (120) includes a terminal body (122) protruding from the upper part of the body (110), a first terminal projection (124) protruding from the upper part of the terminal body (122), and a second terminal projection (126) protruding from the upper part of the terminal body (122) spaced apart from the first terminal projection (124), and the first terminal projection (124) and the second terminal projection (126) mutually cooperate to form a terminal groove (125) in which a coil (60) is received.

[0093] For example, the first terminal projection (124) and the second terminal projection (126) can be formed to form a roughly "V" shape in cooperation with each other, and the end (60a) of the coil (60) wound on the stator (20) is received in the terminal groove (125) formed between the first terminal projection (124) and the second terminal projection (126) in the outer region of the coil (60) along the radial direction of the stator (20) (upper region of the body (110)).

[0094] With the end (60a) of the coil (60) inserted into the terminal groove (125), the end (60a) of the coil (60) can be fixed integrally by welding it to the first terminal projection (124) and the second terminal projection (126).

[0096] Preferably, the terminal groove (125) includes an entry portion (125a) having a first width and a restraining portion (125b) formed to have a second width smaller than the first width and extending below the entry portion (125a), and the coil (60) is entered through the entry portion (125a) and restrained in the restraining portion (125b).

[0097] More preferably, the restraining portion (125b) is formed to have a width (second width) sufficient to restrain the end portion (60a) of the coil (60) from moving.

[0098] In this way, by including an entry portion (125a) and a restraining portion (125b) having different widths in the terminal groove (125), it is possible to obtain the advantageous effect of ensuring smooth entry of the coil (60) from the outside of the terminal groove (125) into the inside of the terminal groove (125) while stably maintaining the arrangement state of the coil (60) placed in the terminal groove (125).

[0099] In particular, the end (60a) of the coil (60) can be simply inserted into the terminal groove (125) to secure it, and since the coil (60) is placed in the terminal groove (125) (e.g., during welding), the worker does not need to support and secure the coil (60) with a separate jig, thereby simplifying the manufacturing process and shortening the production time, which is an advantageous effect.

[0100] In the embodiments of the present invention described above, the terminal portion (120) is described as being formed as a wing structure including a first terminal projection (124) and a second terminal projection (126), but according to other embodiments of the present invention, it is also possible to form the terminal portion in a bent shape like a hook or in other structures.

[0102] Additionally, the terminal (100) may include a power terminal portion (130) protruding from the outer surface of the holder (200).

[0103] The power terminal portion (130) extends from the outer surface of the body (110) and is positioned to protrude from the outer circumference of the holder (200). External power cables corresponding to each phase (U phase, V phase, W phase) can be electrically connected to the power terminal portion (130).

[0105] A holder (200) supports the arrangement of terminals (100) and is provided for electrical insulation between terminals (100).

[0106] The material and shape of the holder (200) may be varied according to the required conditions and design specifications, and the present invention is not limited or restricted by the material and shape of the holder (200).

[0107] For example, the holder (200) may be formed to have a hollow ring shape and may be provided as a molded product (e.g., insulating material) by injection molding.

[0108] According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the holder (200) is formed to wrap around the perimeter of the body (110), and the terminal portion (120) is exposed on the upper part of the holder (200).

[0110] According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the busbar unit (10) may include a locking portion (140) that restricts the movement of the terminal portion (120) relative to the holder (200).

[0111] In this way, by providing a locking part (140), the movement of the terminal part (120) relative to the holder (200) can be restricted, thereby obtaining an advantageous effect of suppressing the position of the terminal part (120) from unintentionally twisting or deforming during injection molding of the holder (200).

[0112] The locking portion (140) can be formed in various structures capable of restricting the movement of the terminal portion (120) relative to the holder (200), and the present invention is not limited or restricted by the structure of the locking portion (140).

[0113] For example, referring to FIGS. 5 to 8, the locking portion (140) may include a locking groove (210) formed in the holder (200) and a locking projection (142) that protrudes from the terminal body (122) and is received in the locking groove (210).

[0114] Preferably, a pair of locking grooves (210) and locking projections (142) are provided symmetrically with respect to the terminal body (122).

[0115] In this way, by forming locking projections (142) on both sides of the terminal body (122) and ensuring that each locking projection (142) is secured to a locking groove (210) formed in the holder (200), an advantageous effect of more reliably suppressing left-right movement of the terminal part (120) can be obtained.

[0117] Referring to FIGS. 7 and 8, according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the busbar unit (10) may include a support member (220) that is provided in a holder (200) and supports a coil (60).

[0118] The support member (220) is provided to support the coil (60) in the correct direction and angle when forming the end (60a) of the coil (60) wound on the stator (20) toward the terminal member (120) (forming in the radial direction of the stator (20)).

[0120] Preferably, the support portion (220) is formed on the inner surface of the holder (200) corresponding to the terminal portion (120).

[0121] Here, the support portion (220) being formed to correspond to the terminal portion (120) is defined as the support portion (220) and the terminal portion (120) being arranged approximately on the same line along the radial direction of the stator (20).

[0122] In this way, by providing a support member (220) corresponding to the terminal member (120), an advantageous effect can be obtained of more accurately guiding and supporting the end (60a) of the coil (60) toward the terminal member (120).

[0124] The support member (220) can be formed in various structures capable of guiding and supporting the forming of the coil (60), and the present invention is not limited or restricted by the structure of the support member (220).

[0125] For example, the support member (220) includes a first support projection (222) formed on the holder (200) and a second support projection (224) formed on the holder (200) spaced apart from the first support projection (222), and the first support projection (222) and the second support projection (224) mutually form a support groove (223) in which the coil (60) is supported.

[0126] The coil (60) can be guided and supported toward the terminal portion (120) by being received in the support groove (223).

[0127] Preferably, the first support projection (222) and the second support projection (224) include a first projection portion (222a, 224a) formed on the inner circumference of the holder (200) along the axial direction of the stator (20), and a second projection portion (222b, 224b) connected to the first projection portion (222a, 224a) and formed on the upper surface of the holder (200) along the radial direction of the stator (20), and are formed to have an approximately "L" shaped cross-section at the boundary between the inner circumference and the upper surface of the holder (200).

[0128] In this way, by including the first support projection (222) and the second support projection (224) with the first projection portion (222a, 224a) and the second projection portion (222b, 224b), the coil (60) can be supported along the axial direction of the stator (20) and at the same time, the coil (60) can be supported along the radial direction of the stator (20), thereby obtaining an advantageous effect of more accurately guiding and supporting the forming of the coil (60) from the axial direction of the stator (20) toward the radial direction of the stator (20).

[0130] In this way, the embodiment of the present invention connects the terminal (100) and the coil (60) in the outer region of the coil (60) along the radial direction of the stator (20), so that a space for connecting (fusing) the terminal (100) and the coil (60) is not required on the upper part of the coil (60), thereby making it possible to minimize the thickness of the busbar unit (10).

[0131] Therefore, the space utilization of the upper region of the stator (20) can be increased and the degree of design freedom can be improved, and the increase in the size of the motor due to the installation of a bus bar for implementing the motor control circuit can be minimized and the motor can be miniaturized, thereby obtaining an advantageous effect.

[0132] That is, referring to FIG. 9, conventionally, the terminal portion (PT) of the terminal (100) is positioned on the upper part of the stator (20) coil (60), and as the stator (20) coil (60) is fused to the terminal portion (PT) on the upper part of the stator (20) coil (60), there is a problem in that it is difficult to lower the overall height (H2) of the motor because a space (height) must be secured for the terminal portion (120) of the terminal (100) to be positioned on the upper part of the stator (20) coil (60), no matter how much the thickness of the bus bar is reduced.

[0133] However, in the embodiment of the present invention, by connecting the terminal portion (120) and the coil (60) in the outer region of the coil (60) along the radial direction of the stator (20), the space for connecting (fusing) the terminal (100) and the coil (60) at the top of the coil (60) can be eliminated, thereby obtaining the advantageous effect of lowering the overall height (H1) of the motor compared to the height (H2) of the existing structure in which the coil (60) is fused at the top of the stator (20) coil (60).

[0135] Although the invention has been described above with reference to embodiments, this is merely illustrative and does not limit the invention. Those skilled in the art will understand that various modifications and applications not exemplified above are possible within the scope of the essential characteristics of the embodiments. For example, each component specifically shown in the embodiments may be modified and implemented. Furthermore, differences related to such modifications and applications should be interpreted as being included within the scope of the invention as defined in the appended claims.
