Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a ship cleaning device, and more specifically, to a ship cleaning device capable of effectively cleaning the sides of a hull based on the movement of the hull due to tidal differences without the need for human labor by a diver or separate additional power. Background Technology
[0002] When constructing a ship, a certain mooring period at the quay is required after launching from the dock for outfitting and interior work.
[0003] Generally, when moored at a quay, bacteria adhere to the hull surface, and the proliferation of these bacteria leads to the growth of marine organisms such as slime, tube worms, and barnacles, causing hull fouling.
[0004] Biofouling or hull fouling caused by marine organisms not only results in paint damage to the hull surface but also increases surface roughness, thereby increasing ship resistance.
[0005] Increased resistance of a ship causes the problem of increased fuel consumption for propulsion. Accordingly, the application of anti-fouling paint to the hull surface is being proposed as a means to prevent excessive fuel consumption resulting from hull contamination by marine organisms.
[0006] However, during periods of excessively long quay mooring or in the summer when seawater temperatures are high, it is difficult to prevent hull damage with antifouling paint alone. Therefore, periodic hull cleaning is required.
[0007] In particular, depending on the vessel type and schedule, there may be ships at shipyards that require mooring at the quay for more than half a year. For such vessels, periodic hull cleaning is unavoidable to prevent paint damage and performance degradation; however, carrying out this cleaning periodically entails accepting corresponding losses in time and cost.
[0008] In other words, considering the significant loss inevitably incurred by divers having to periodically perform hull cleaning while carrying electric cleaning equipment requiring separate power, and especially by the laborious task of individually cleaning both sides and the bottom of the hull where the cleaning area is large, the need for a new concept of ship cleaning device to solve this problem arises. Prior art literature
[0009] Korean Intellectual Property Office Application No. 10-2017-7024019 The problem to be solved
[0010] Therefore, the technical problem that the present invention aims to solve is to provide a ship cleaning device that can effectively clean the sides of a hull based on the movement of the hull due to tidal differences without the need for human labor by divers or separate additional power, and thereby prevent hull fouling caused by marine organisms. means of solving the problem
[0011] According to one aspect of the present invention, a ship cleaning device may be provided, comprising: a device fixing frame having one side coupled to and fixed to a quay wall where the hull is moored, and positioned to surround the hull; and a plurality of side cleaning units connected to the device fixing frame and positioned on both sides of the hull, which clean the sides of the hull while moving based on the movement of the hull according to the difference in tides.
[0012] The above device fixing frame may include: a plurality of first side frames arranged adjacent to a first side of the hull adjacent to the quay wall; a plurality of second side frames arranged adjacent to a second side of the hull wall; a connecting frame arranged at the lower part of the hull wall and connecting the first and second side frames to each other; a unit connecting pin portion provided at the upper end of the first and second side frames and connected to a side cleaning unit corresponding thereto at that position; and a quay wall fixing pin portion provided coaxially with the unit connecting pin portion formed on the first side frame and fixed to the quay wall.
[0013] The above-described side cleaning unit may include: a plurality of magnets magnetically attached to the side of the hull; a plurality of wiper modules each having an attachment block attached to the magnets, a wiper that cleans the side of the hull in contact with the side of the hull, a wiper head that rotatably supports the wiper, and a relative rotation connecting part that connects the attachment block and the wiper head to be rotatably connected; a plurality of rotating gears that combine with the wiper head of the wiper module to form a body with the wiper module; a plurality of crank arms, one side of which is connected to the unit connecting pin part and the other side of which is connected to the rotating gear and the wiper head, and the other side of which moves up and down relative to the unit connecting pin part; a plurality of crank bolts that fix the crank arm and the wiper head through the rotating gear; and a common belt that connects the plurality of rotating gears in a closed loop form.
[0014] The above-mentioned side cleaning units are provided in multiple numbers vertically on the side of the hull, and adjacent pairs of side cleaning units can be connected by a unit connecting rod, and both ends of the unit connecting rod can be connected to the crank arms of the corresponding side cleaning units. Effects of the invention
[0015] According to the present invention, the sides of the hull can be effectively cleaned based on the movement of the hull due to tidal differences without the need for manpower by a diver or separate additional power, thereby preventing hull fouling caused by marine organisms. Figure 2 is a structural diagram of the device fixing frame of a ship cleaning device. Figure 3 is a perspective view of area A of Figure 1. Fig. 4 is a partially exploded perspective view of Fig. 3. Fig. 5 is a front view of Fig. 3. Figures 6 and 7 are operation diagrams of a ship cleaning device. Specific details for implementing the invention
[0017] In order to fully understand the present invention, the operational advantages of the present invention, and the objectives achieved by the implementation of the present invention, reference must be made to the accompanying drawings illustrating preferred embodiments of the present invention and the contents described therein.
[0018] The present invention will be described in detail below by explaining preferred embodiments of the invention with reference to the accompanying drawings. Identical reference numerals in each drawing indicate identical components.
[0019] FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of a ship cleaning device according to one embodiment of the present invention applied to a ship, FIG. 2 is a structural diagram of a device fixing frame of the ship cleaning device, FIG. 3 is a perspective view of area A of FIG. 1, FIG. 4 is a partially exploded perspective view of FIG. 3, FIG. 5 is a front view of FIG. 3, and FIG. 6 and FIG. 7 are operation diagrams of the ship cleaning device.
[0020] Referring to these drawings, when the ship cleaning device (120) according to the present embodiment is applied, the sides (113, 114) of the hull (110) can be effectively cleaned based on the movement of the hull (110) due to tidal differences without the need for manpower by a diver or separate additional power, thereby preventing hull fouling caused by marine organisms. Here, marine organisms refer to slime, tubeworms, barnacles, etc.
[0021] Before the ship cleaning device (120), the general structure of the ship (100) is examined. As previously described, when constructing the ship (100), a certain mooring period at the quay (101) is required for outfitting and interior work after launching from the dock. In other words, the ship (100) proceeds with work while moored at the quay (101).
[0022] For reference, although the ship (100) is schematically depicted in FIG. 1, the ship (100) can be any type of vessel, such as a merchant ship, warship, fishing vessel, transport ship, drillship, icebreaker, and special work vessel.
[0023] A living quarters (116) is provided on one side of the deck of the hull (110). Additionally, a propeller that provides propulsion and a rudder that adjusts the direction of travel are mounted on one side of the lower part of the hull (110).
[0024] Referring to FIG. 1, the position of the hull (110) is described as follows: the hull (110) has a bottom surface formed at the bottom, and the first and second sides (113, 114), which are walls on both sides of the bottom surface, are formed. For convenience, the wall adjacent to the quay wall (101) is referred to as the first side (113) of the hull (110), and the opposite wall is referred to as the second side (114) of the hull (110).
[0025] Meanwhile, as described above, the ship cleaning device (120) according to the present embodiment is applied to a ship (100) moored at a quay (101) to effectively clean both the first and second sides (113, 114) of the hull (110), thereby preventing hull fouling caused by marine organisms.
[0026] As such, when the ship cleaning device (120) of the present embodiment is applied, hull contamination does not occur, so the problem of paint damage on the surface of the hull (110) does not occur.
[0027] In addition, since surface roughness does not increase, the resistance of the ship (100) does not increase unnecessarily as before, so there is an advantage that no additional fuel is consumed for the propulsion of the ship (100).
[0028] The ship cleaning device (120) according to the present embodiment, which can provide such effects, may include a device fixing frame (130) and a side cleaning unit (140).
[0029] The device fixing frame (130) is a structure that is fixed in position by being connected to a quay wall where the hull (110) is moored, and is positioned to surround the hull (110).
[0030] The fixed frame (130) of the device forms the location where the side cleaning units (140) are installed. For example, since the first side (113) of the hull (110) is positioned adjacent to the quay (101), the side cleaning units (140) can be installed using the quay (101) or by erecting a separate structure on the quay (101).
[0031] However, since the second side (114) of the hull (110), which is opposite the quay wall (101), does not have a structure or structure like the quay wall (101), a separate installation structure is required to install the side cleaning unit (140) there. Therefore, the device fixing frame (130) is applied.
[0032] The device fixing frame (130) may include a plurality of first side frames (131) positioned adjacent to the first side (113) of the hull (110) adjacent to the quay wall (101), a plurality of second side frames (132) positioned adjacent to the second side (114) of the hull (110), a connecting frame (133) positioned at the bottom of the hull (110) and connecting the first and second side frames (131, 132) to each other, a unit connecting pin part (134) provided at the upper end of the first and second side frames (131, 132) and connected to a side cleaning unit (140) corresponding thereto at that position, and a quay wall fixing pin part (135) provided coaxially with the unit connecting pin part (134) formed on the first side frame (131) and fixed to the quay wall (101).
[0033] The device fixing frame (130), which includes a first side frame (131), a second side frame (132), a unit connecting pin part (134), a unit connecting pin part (134), and a quay fixing pin part (135), has an integrated structure so that it can be removed and recycled once the construction of the ship (100) is completed.
[0034] In addition, since the device fixing frame (130) is manufactured in the shape shown in FIG. 2, it can be used to install other structures or configurations other than the side cleaning unit (140) by utilizing the first side frame (131), the second side frame (132), the unit connecting pin part (134), etc.
[0035] The quay wall fixing pin portion (135) forms a place that is fixed to the quay wall (101), and in this embodiment, this quay wall fixing pin portion (135) is provided coaxially with the unit connecting pin portion (134). That is, assuming it is a single rod, one side of the rod may be the unit connecting pin portion (134) and the other side may be the quay wall fixing pin portion (135).
[0036] However, this is merely one example. That is, after manufacturing the first side frame (131) in the same way as the second side frame (132), the quay wall fixing pin part (135) may be connected to another place, and all such matters should be considered to fall within the scope of the present invention.
[0037] Meanwhile, the side cleaning unit (140) is connected to the device fixed frame (130) and is positioned on both the first and second sides (113, 114) of the hull (110), and moves based on the movement of the hull (110) due to the difference in tides, and serves to automatically clean the first and second sides (113, 114) of the hull (110).
[0038] That is, as illustrated in FIGS. 6 and 7, the first and second sides (113, 114) of the hull (110) can be frictionally rubbed by the wiper (152) forming the side cleaning unit (140) due to the movement of the hull (110) according to the tidal difference of the sea surface, particularly the up / down movement, so the first and second sides (113, 114) of the hull (110) can be cleaned automatically and naturally.
[0039] Therefore, if this operation is repeated daily, it is possible to prevent hull fouling by marine organisms on the first and second sides (113, 114) of the hull (110). In particular, this operation can be highly effective in that it is non-powered.
[0040] In this embodiment, the side cleaning unit (140) can be provided on both the first and second sides (113, 114) of the hull (110), and multiple units are applied both above and below the first and second sides (113, 114). The structure of all the multiple side cleaning units (140) applied is identical.
[0041] This side cleaning unit (140) includes a magnet (141), a wiper module (150), a rotating gear (142), a crank arm (143), a crank bolt (144), and a common belt (145). Multiple magnets (141), wiper modules (150), rotating gears (142), crank arms (143), and crank bolts (144) can be applied per common belt (145) to form a single side cleaning unit (140).
[0042] The magnet (141) is a magnet that is magnetically attached to the sides (113, 114) of the hull (110). Since the magnet (141) is applied, it is recyclable. In addition, since it is not welded or bolted, the surface of the hull (110) can be prevented from being damaged.
[0043] The wiper module (150) is a tool for cleaning the first and second sides (113, 114) of the hull (110).
[0044] This wiper module (150) may include an attachment block (151) attached to a magnet (141), a wiper (152) that cleans the first and second sides (113, 114) of the hull (110) in contact with the first and second sides (113, 114) of the hull (110), a wiper head (153) that rotatably supports the wiper (152), and a relative rotation connecting part (154) that rotatably connects the attachment block (151) and the wiper head (153). The relative rotation connecting part (154) may be applied in a configuration such as a bearing.
[0045] The wiper head (153) is connected to the rotating gear (142) to form a single body. Therefore, when the rotating gear (142) rotates, the wiper head (153) rotates in tandem, and as a result, the wiper (152) can clean the first and second sides (113, 114) of the hull (110) by making frictional contact with them.
[0046] The rotating gear (142) combines with the wiper head (153) of the wiper module (150) to form a body with the wiper module (150).
[0047] One side of the crank arm (143) is connected to the unit connecting pin (134) and the other side is connected to the rotating gear (142) and the wiper head (153), and the other side is induced to move up and down relative to the unit connecting pin (134).
[0048] The crank bolt (144) serves to secure the crank arm (143) and the wiper head (153) via the rotating gear (142).
[0049] The common belt (145) connects multiple rotating gears (142) in a closed loop. Therefore, the rotating gears (142) connected to the common belt (145) can rotate in the same direction.
[0050] Meanwhile, as described above, the side cleaning unit (140) can be provided on both the first and second sides (113, 114) of the hull (110), and multiple units are applied both above and below on the first and second sides (113, 114).
[0051] Multiple side cleaning units (140) can operate simultaneously by being connected to a unit connecting rod (160). When the side cleaning units (140) are connected to both ends of the unit connecting rod (160), the ends of the unit connecting rod (160) are connected to the crank arms (143) of the side cleaning units (140). At this time, the lower end of the unit connecting rod (160) can be connected to one side of the crank arm (143) through a rod connecting pin (161).
[0052] The operation of the ship cleaning device (120) is explained below.
[0053] Depending on the movement of the hull (110) due to the difference in tides of the sea surface, for example, when the hull (110) rises above the sea surface as in FIG. 6 or falls as in FIG. 7, the side cleaning units (140) move up and down with the fixed quay fixing pin part (135) as the axis. That is, the quay fixing pin part (135), including the unit connecting rod (160), is in a fixed position, and the side cleaning units (140) are positioned on the side of the hull (110) and connected to the quay fixing pin part (135), so when the hull (110) moves up and down due to the difference in tides of the sea surface, the side cleaning units (140) move up and down.
[0054] As the side cleaning units (140) move up and down in this manner, the crank arm (143) rotates with the wall fixing pin part (135) as the axis, which induces rotational movement of the rotating gear (142) and induces the wiper module (150) connected to the rotating gear (142) to rotate.
[0055] When the wiper module (150) rotates, the wiper (152), which is a component of the wiper module (150), comes into frictional contact with the first and second sides (113, 114) of the hull (110), thereby cleaning the first and second sides (113, 114) of the hull (110). Here, cleaning can be said to be closer in meaning to preventing marine organisms from attaching to and inhabiting the surface rather than to the meaning of wiping cleanly.
[0056] According to the present embodiment, which operates with a structure as described above, the first and second sides (113, 114) of the hull (110) can be effectively cleaned based on the movement of the hull (110) due to tidal differences without the need for manpower by a diver or separate additional power, thereby preventing hull fouling caused by marine organisms.
[0057] As such, the present invention is not limited to the described embodiments, and it is obvious to those skilled in the art that various modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, such modifications or variations should be deemed to fall within the scope of the claims of the present invention. Explanation of the symbols
