Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a display device and a method for manufacturing the same. Background Technology
[0002] As the information society develops, the demand for display devices to show images is increasing in various forms. For example, display devices are being applied to a wide range of electronic devices, such as smartphones, digital cameras, laptop computers, navigation systems, and smart televisions.
[0003] Display devices include anti-reflective materials, such as polarizers, attached to the display panel to reduce the reflection of external light by the metal wiring of the display panel. Recently, to reduce the manufacturing cost of display devices, a color filter layer containing a color filter and a black matrix is being used as an anti-reflective material instead of a polarizer. The problem to be solved
[0004] The problem that the present invention aims to solve is to provide a display device and a method for manufacturing the same that can reduce the manufacturing cost of a color filter layer used as an anti-reflection member by reducing the number of mask processes by eliminating the black matrix.
[0005] The problems of the present invention are not limited to those mentioned above, and other unmentioned technical problems will be clearly understood by those skilled in the art from the description below. means of solving the problem
[0006] A display device according to an embodiment for solving the above problem comprises a substrate, a first light-emitting part disposed on the substrate and emitting light of a first color, a second light-emitting part disposed on the substrate and emitting light of a second color, a third light-emitting part disposed on the substrate and emitting light of a third color, an encapsulation layer disposed on the first light-emitting part, the second light-emitting part, and the third light-emitting part, a sensor electrode disposed on the encapsulation layer, a touch insulating film disposed on the sensor electrode, a first color filter disposed on the touch insulating film and overlapping the first light-emitting part in the thickness direction of the substrate, a second color filter disposed on the touch insulating film and overlapping the second light-emitting part in the thickness direction of the substrate, and a third color filter disposed on the touch insulating film and overlapping the third light-emitting part in the thickness direction of the substrate. The sensor electrode overlaps with at least one of the first color filter, the second color filter, and the third color filter in the thickness direction of the substrate.
[0007] A display device according to one embodiment for solving the above problem comprises a substrate, a first light-emitting part disposed on the substrate and emitting a first light, an encapsulation layer disposed on the first light-emitting part, a sensor electrode disposed on the encapsulation layer, and a first color filter disposed on the sensor electrode and overlapping the first light-emitting part in the thickness direction of the substrate. The sensor electrode does not overlap the first light-emitting part in the thickness direction of the substrate. The sensor electrode overlaps the first color filter in the thickness direction of the substrate. The sensor electrode includes a first conductive layer and a second conductive layer disposed on the first conductive layer. The thickness of the first conductive layer is greater than the thickness of the second conductive layer, the electrical conductivity of the first conductive layer is higher than the electrical conductivity of the second conductive layer, and the reflectance of the first conductive layer is higher than the reflectance of the second conductive layer.
[0008] Specific details of other embodiments are included in the detailed description and drawings. Effects of the invention
[0009] According to a display device and a method for manufacturing the same according to one embodiment, instead of the color filter layer including a black matrix, the sensor electrode includes a conductive layer that acts as an anti-reflective layer to reduce the reflection of light incident from the outside. As a result, even if the color filter layer does not include a black matrix, the reflection of light incident from the outside from the sensor electrode can be reduced, thereby preventing the sensor electrode from being visible to the user from the front of the display device. Therefore, since the mask process for manufacturing the black matrix can be eliminated, the manufacturing cost of the color filter layer can be reduced.
[0010] According to a display device and a method for manufacturing the same according to one embodiment, at least one of the first color filter and the second color filter overlaps with the sensor electrode in the thickness direction of the substrate. As a result, at least one of the first color filter and the second color filter can block light in the blue wavelength range reflected from the conductive layer acting as an anti-reflective layer at the sensor electrode. Therefore, it is possible to prevent or reduce the light reflected from the conductive layer of the sensor electrode from being output to the outside and visible to the user.
[0011] The effects according to the embodiments are not limited to those exemplified above, and a wider variety of effects are included in this specification. Brief explanation of the drawing

[0017] FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a display device according to one embodiment. FIG. 2 is a plan view showing a display device according to one embodiment. FIG. 3 is a side view showing a display device according to one embodiment.
[0018] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 3, a display device (10) according to one embodiment may be applied to portable electronic devices such as a mobile phone, a smartphone, a tablet PC, a mobile communication terminal, an electronic notebook, an e-book, a PMP (portable multimedia player), a navigation system, a UMPC (Ultra Mobile PC), etc. Alternatively, a display device (10) according to one embodiment may be applied to a television, a laptop, a monitor, an advertising board, or a display unit of the Internet of Things (IOT). Alternatively, a display device (10) according to one embodiment may be applied to a wearable device such as a smart watch, a watch phone, a glasses-type display, and a head-mounted display (HMD). Alternatively, a display device (10) according to one embodiment may be applied to a center information display (CID) placed on the instrument panel of a vehicle, the center fascia of a vehicle, the dashboard of a vehicle, a room mirror display replacing the side mirror of a vehicle, or a display placed on the back of the front seat as entertainment for the rear seat of a vehicle.
[0019] The display device (10) may be a light-emitting display device such as an organic light-emitting display device using an organic light-emitting diode, a quantum dot light-emitting display device including a quantum dot light-emitting layer, an inorganic light-emitting display device including an inorganic semiconductor, and a micro light-emitting display device using a micro or nano light-emitting diode (micro LED or nano LED). Although the following description focuses on the display device (10) being an organic light-emitting display device, the present invention is not limited thereto.
[0020] The display device (10) includes a display panel (100), a display driving circuit (200), a display circuit board (300), and a touch driving circuit (400).
[0021] The display panel (100) may be formed as a rectangular plane having a short side in a first direction (X-axis direction) and a long side in a second direction (Y-axis direction) that intersects the first direction (X-axis direction). The corner where the short side in the first direction (X-axis direction) and the long side in the second direction (Y-axis direction) meet may be formed rounded to have a predetermined curvature or formed at a right angle. The planar shape of the display panel (100) is not limited to a rectangle and may be formed as other polygons, circles, or ellipses. The display panel (100) may be formed flat, but is not limited thereto. For example, the display panel (100) includes a curved surface formed at the left and right ends, having a constant curvature or a changing curvature. In addition, the display panel (100) may be formed flexibly so that it can be bent, curved, folded, or rolled.
[0022] The display panel (100) includes a main area (MA) and a sub-area (SBA).
[0023] The main area (MA) includes a display area (DA) that displays an image and a non-display area (NDA) which is a surrounding area of the display area (DA). The display area (DA) includes pixels (PX in FIG. 5) that display an image. A sub-area (SBA) may protrude in a second direction (Y-axis direction) from one side of the main area (MA).
[0024] In FIGS. 1 and 2, the sub-region (SBA) is illustrated as being unfolded, but the sub-region (SBA) can be bent as shown in FIG. 3, and in this case, it can be placed on the lower surface of the display panel (100). When the sub-region (SBA) is bent, it can overlap with the main region (MA) in the thickness direction (Z-axis direction) of the substrate (SUB). A display driving circuit (200) can be placed in the sub-region (SBA).
[0025] Additionally, the display panel (100) includes a substrate (SUB), a thin film transistor layer (TFTL), a light-emitting element layer (EML), an encapsulation layer (TFEL), a touch sensing layer (SENL), and a color filter layer (CFL) as shown in FIG. 3.
[0026] A thin-film transistor layer (TFTL) may be disposed on a substrate (SUB). The thin-film transistor layer (TFTL) may be disposed in a main region (MA) and a sub-region (SBA). The thin-film transistor layer (TFTL) includes transistors (ST1 in FIG. 7).
[0027] The light-emitting element layer (EML) can be disposed on the thin-film transistor layer (TFTL). The light-emitting element layer (EML) can be disposed in the display area (DA) of the main area (MA). The light-emitting element layer (EML) includes light-emitting elements disposed in the light-emitting parts.
[0028] The encapsulation layer (TFEL) may be disposed on the light-emitting element layer (EML). The encapsulation layer (TFEL) may be disposed in the display area (DA) and non-display area (NDA) of the main area (MA). The encapsulation layer (TFEL) comprises at least one inorganic film and at least one organic film for encapsulating the light-emitting element layer.
[0029] The touch sensing layer (SENL) can be disposed on the encapsulation layer (TFEL). The touch sensing layer (SENL) can be disposed in the display area (DA) and non-display area (NDA) of the main area (MA). The touch sensing layer (SENL) can detect the touch of a person or object using sensor electrodes.
[0030] A color filter layer (CFL) may be disposed on a touch sensing layer (SENL). The color filter layer (CFL) may be disposed in the display area (DA) and non-display area (NDA) of the main area (MA). The color filter layer (CFL) may be an anti-reflective member for reducing external light from being reflected from the metal wiring and metal electrodes of the display panel (100). The color filter layer (CFL) includes a plurality of color filters. For example, the color filter layer (CFL) includes a first color filter that transmits light in a first wavelength range, a second color filter that transmits light in a second wavelength range, and a third color filter that transmits light in a third wavelength range.
[0031] A cover window may be disposed on the color filter layer (CFL) to protect the upper part of the display panel (100). The cover window may be attached to the color filter layer (CFL) by a transparent adhesive member such as an optically clear adhesive (OCA) film or an optically clear resin (OCR). The cover window may be an inorganic material such as glass, or an organic material such as plastic or polymer material.
[0032] The display driving circuit (200) can generate signals and voltages to drive the display panel (100). The display driving circuit (200) can be formed as an integrated circuit (IC) and attached to the display panel (100) using a COG (chip on glass) method, a COP (chip on plastic) method, or an ultrasonic bonding method, but is not limited thereto. For example, the display driving circuit (200) can be attached to the display circuit board (300) using a COF (chip on film) method.
[0033] A display circuit board (300) can be attached to one end of a sub-region (SBA) of a display panel (100). As a result, the display circuit board (300) can be electrically connected to the display panel (100) and the display driving circuit (200). The display panel (100) and the display driving circuit (200) can receive digital video data, timing signals, and driving voltages through the display circuit board (300). The display circuit board (300) may be a flexible printed circuit board, a printed circuit board, or a flexible film such as a chip-on-film.
[0034] The touch driving circuit (400) can be placed on the display circuit board (300). The touch driving circuit (400) can be formed as an integrated circuit (IC) and attached to the display circuit board (300).
[0035] A touch driving circuit (400) may be electrically connected to sensor electrodes of a touch sensing layer (SENL) of a display panel (100). The touch driving circuit (400) applies driving signals to the sensor electrodes of the touch sensing layer (SENL) and measures the mutual capacitance values of the sensor electrodes. The driving signal may be a signal having a plurality of driving pulses. The touch driving circuit (400) may determine whether a user touches and whether there is proximity based on the mutual capacitance values. A user touch refers to an object, such as a user's finger or a pen, directly contacting one side of the display device (10) placed on the touch sensing layer (SENL). A user proximity refers to an object, such as a user's finger or a pen, hovering away from one side of the display device (10).
[0036] As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, in order to reduce the reflection of external light by the metal wiring and metal electrodes of the display panel (100), the display panel (100) includes a color filter layer (CFL) including color filters. As a result, there is no need to attach a separate anti-reflection member, such as a polarizer, to the display panel (100), so the manufacturing cost of the display device (10) can be reduced.
[0037] Figure 4 is a layout diagram schematically showing an example of the touch sensing layer of Figure 3.
[0038] In FIG. 4, the sensor electrodes (SE) of the touch sensing layer (SENL) include two types of electrodes, for example, driving electrodes (TE) and sensing electrodes (RE), and are driven in a mutual capacitance manner in which a voltage charged in mutual capacitance is detected through the sensing electrodes (RE) after a driving signal is applied to the driving electrodes (TE), but is not limited thereto.
[0039] In FIG. 4, for convenience of explanation, only the driving electrodes (TE), sensing electrodes (RE), dummy patterns (DE), sensor wirings (TL1, TL2, RL), and sensor pads (TP1, TP2) are shown.
[0040] Referring to FIG. 4, the touch sensing layer (SENL) includes a touch sensor area (TSA) for detecting a user's touch and a touch peripheral area (TPA) disposed around the touch sensor area (TSA). The touch sensor area (TSA) may overlap with the display area (DA) of FIG. 1 to 3, and the touch peripheral area (TPA) may overlap with the non-display area (NDA) of FIG. 1 to 3.
[0041] The touch sensor area (TSA) includes driving electrodes (TE), sensing electrodes (RE), and dummy patterns (DE). The driving electrodes (TE) and sensing electrodes (RE) may be electrodes for forming mutual capacitance to detect the touch of an object or person.
[0042] The sensing electrodes (RE) can be arranged parallel to each other in a first direction (X-axis direction) and a second direction (Y-axis direction). The sensing electrodes (RE) can be electrically connected in the first direction (X-axis direction). Adjacent sensing electrodes (RE) in the first direction (X-axis direction) can be connected to each other. Adjacent sensing electrodes (RE) in the second direction (Y-axis direction) can be electrically separated from each other.
[0043] Driving electrodes (TE) can be arranged in parallel in a first direction (X-axis direction) and a second direction (Y-axis direction). Adjacent driving electrodes (TE) in the first direction (X-axis direction) can be electrically separated from each other. Driving electrodes (TE) can be electrically connected in the second direction (Y-axis direction). For example, adjacent driving electrodes (TE) in the second direction (Y-axis direction) can be connected to each other through a connecting electrode (BE1) as shown in FIG. 5.
[0044] Each of the dummy patterns (DE) may be surrounded by a driving electrode (TE) or a sensing electrode (RE). Each of the dummy patterns (DE) may be electrically isolated from the driving electrode (TE) or the sensing electrode (RE). Each of the dummy patterns (DE) may be positioned apart from the driving electrode (TE) or the sensing electrode (RE). Each of the dummy patterns (DE) may be electrically floating.
[0045] In FIG. 4, the driving electrodes (TE), sensing electrodes (RE), and dummy patterns (DE) are each illustrated as having a rhombus planar shape, but are not limited thereto. For example, the driving electrodes (TE), sensing electrodes (RE), and dummy patterns (DE) may each have a planar shape other than a rhombus, a polygon other than a square, a circle, or an ellipse.
[0046] Sensor wiring (TL1, TL2, RL) may be placed in a sensor peripheral area (TPA). The sensor wiring (TL1, TL2, RL) includes sensing wiring (RL) connected to sensing electrodes (RE), first driving wiring (TL1) and second driving wiring (TL2) connected to driving electrodes (TE).
[0047] Sensing electrodes (RE) positioned on one side of the touch sensor area (TSA) can be connected one-to-one to sensing wires (RL). For example, as shown in FIG. 4, a sensing electrode (RE) positioned at the right end among the sensing electrodes (RE) electrically connected in the first direction (X-axis direction) can be connected to a sensing wire (RL). The sensing wires (RL) can be connected one-to-one to the second sensor pads (TP2). Therefore, the touch driving circuit (330) can be electrically connected to the sensing electrodes (RE).
[0048] Driving electrodes (TE) positioned on one side of the touch sensor area (TSA) may be connected one-to-one to the first driving wires (TL1), and driving electrodes (TE) positioned on the other side of the touch sensor area (TSA) may be connected one-to-one to the second driving wires (TL2). For example, as shown in FIG. 4, among the driving electrodes (TE) electrically connected in the second direction (Y-axis direction), the driving electrode (TE) positioned at the lower end may be connected to the first driving wire (TL1), and the driving electrode (TE) positioned at the upper end may be connected to the second driving wire (TL2). The second driving wires (TL2) may be connected to the driving electrodes (TE) at the upper side of the touch sensor area (TSA) via the left outer side of the touch sensor area (TSA).
[0049] The first driving wires (TL1) and the second driving wires (TL2) can be connected one-to-one to the first sensor pads (TP1). Therefore, the touch driving circuit (330) can be electrically connected to the driving electrodes (TE). Since the driving electrodes (TE) are connected to the driving wires (TL1, TL2) on both sides of the touch sensor area (TSA) to receive the touch driving signal, it is possible to prevent a difference from occurring between the touch driving signal applied to the driving electrodes (TE) located on the lower side of the touch sensor area (TSA) and the touch driving signal applied to the driving electrodes (TE) located on the upper side of the touch sensor area (TSA) due to the RC delay of the touch driving signal.
[0050] A first sensor pad area (TPA1) in which first sensor pads (TP1) are placed may be placed on one side of a display pad area (DPA) in which display pads (DP) are placed. A second sensor pad area (TPA2) in which second sensor pads (TP2) are placed may be placed on the other side of the display pad area (DPA). The display pads (DP) may be electrically connected to the data wiring of the display panel (100).
[0051] The display pad area (DPA), the first sensor pad area (TPA1), and the second sensor pad area (TPA2) may correspond to pads of a display panel (100) connected to a display circuit board (300) shown in FIG. 2. A display circuit board (300) may be disposed on the display pads (DP), the first sensor pads (TP1), and the second sensor pads (TP2). The display pads (DP), the first sensor pads (TP1), and the second sensor pads (TP2) may be electrically connected to the display circuit board (300) using a low-resistance, high-reliability material such as an anisotropic conductive film or SAP. Therefore, the display pads (DP), the first sensor pads (TP1), and the second sensor pads (TP2) may be electrically connected to a touch driving circuit (400) disposed on the display circuit board (300).
[0052] Figure 5 is an enlarged plan view showing in detail an example of area A of Figure 4.
[0053] Referring to FIG. 5, the driving electrodes (TE) and the sensing electrodes (RE) are placed on the same layer, so they can be placed apart from each other. That is, a gap can be formed between adjacent driving electrodes (TE) and sensing electrodes (RE).
[0054] In addition, the dummy pattern (DE) can also be placed on the same layer as the driving electrodes (TE) and the sensing electrodes (RE). That is, a gap can be formed between adjacent driving electrodes (TE) and the dummy pattern (DE), and between adjacent sensing electrodes (RE) and the dummy pattern (DE).
[0055] The connecting electrodes (BE1) may be placed on a different layer from the driving electrodes (TE) and the sensing electrodes (RE). The connecting electrode (BE1) may be formed to be bent at least once. In FIG. 5, the connecting electrode (BE1) is illustrated as having a bracket shape (“<” or “>”), but the planar shape of the connecting electrode (BE1) is not limited thereto. Since driving electrodes (TE) adjacent to each other in the second direction (Y-axis direction) are connected by a plurality of connecting electrodes (BE1), even if any one of the connecting electrodes (BE1) is disconnected, the driving electrodes (TE) adjacent to each other in the second direction (Y-axis direction) can be stably connected. In FIG. 5, driving electrodes (TE) adjacent to each other are illustrated as being connected by two connecting electrodes (BE1), but the number of connecting electrodes (BE1) is not limited thereto.
[0056] The connecting electrode (BE1) can overlap adjacent driving electrodes (TE) in the second direction (Y-axis direction) from the third direction (Z-axis direction), which is the thickness direction of the substrate (SUB). The connecting electrode (BE1) can overlap with the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). One side of the connecting electrode (BE1) can be connected to any one of the driving electrodes (TE) adjacent in the second direction (Y-axis direction) through touch contact holes (TCNT1). The other side of the connecting electrode (BE1) can be connected to another driving electrode (TE) adjacent in the second direction (Y-axis direction) through touch contact holes (TCNT1).
[0057] Due to the connecting electrodes (BE1), the driving electrodes (TE) and the sensing electrodes (RE) can be electrically separated at their intersections. As a result, mutual capacitance can be formed between the driving electrodes (TE) and the sensing electrodes (RE).
[0058] Each of the driving electrodes (TE), sensing electrodes (RE), and connecting electrodes (BE1) may have a planar shape of a mesh structure or a net structure. Additionally, each of the dummy patterns (DE) may have a planar shape of a mesh structure or a net structure. As a result, each of the driving electrodes (TE), sensing electrodes (RE), connecting electrodes (BE1), and dummy patterns (DE) may not overlap with the light-emitting parts (EA1, EA2, EA3, EA4) of each pixel (PX). Therefore, the light emitted from the light-emitting parts (EA1, EA2, EA3, EA4) may be blocked by the driving electrodes (TE), sensing electrodes (RE), connecting electrodes (BE1), and dummy patterns (DE), thereby preventing a reduction in the brightness of the light.
[0059] Each of the pixels (PX) includes a first light-emitting part (EA1) that emits light of a first color, a second light-emitting part (EA2) that emits light of a second color, a third light-emitting part (EA3) that emits light of a third color, and a fourth light-emitting part (EA4) that emits light of a second color. For example, the first color may be red, the second color may be green, and the third color may be blue.
[0060] The first light-emitting part (EA1) and the second light-emitting part (EA2) of each pixel (PX) may be adjacent to each other in the fourth direction (DR4), and the third light-emitting part (EA3) and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4) may be adjacent to each other in the fourth direction (DR4). The first light-emitting part (EA1) and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4) of each pixel (PX) may be adjacent to each other in the fifth direction (DR5), and the second light-emitting part (EA2) and the third light-emitting part (EA3) may be adjacent to each other in the fifth direction (DR5).
[0061] Each of the first light-emitting part (EA1), the second light-emitting part (EA2), the third light-emitting part (EA3), and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4) may have a rhombus-shaped planar form or a rectangular planar form, but is not limited thereto. Each of the first light-emitting part (EA1), the second light-emitting part (EA2), the third light-emitting part (EA3), and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4) may have a polygonal, circular, or elliptical planar form other than a rectangle. Additionally, FIG. 5 illustrates that the area of the third light-emitting part (EA3) is the largest and the areas of the second light-emitting part (EA2) and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4) are the smallest, but is not limited thereto.
[0062] The second light-emitting parts (EA2) and the fourth light-emitting parts (EA4) may be arranged in odd rows. The second light-emitting parts (EA2) and the fourth light-emitting parts (EA4) may be arranged side by side in the first direction (X-axis direction) in each of the odd rows. The second light-emitting parts (EA2) and the fourth light-emitting parts (EA4) may be arranged alternately in each of the odd rows. Each of the second light-emitting parts (EA2) may have a short side in the fourth direction (DR4) and a long side in the fifth direction (DR5), whereas each of the fourth light-emitting parts (EA4) may have a long side in the fourth direction (DR4) and a short side in the fifth direction (DR5). The fourth direction (DR4) may be a direction between the first direction (X-axis direction) and the second direction (Y-axis direction), and may be a direction inclined at 45 degrees relative to the first direction (X-axis direction). The fifth direction (DR5) may be a direction orthogonal to the fourth direction (DR4).
[0063] The first light-emitting parts (EA1) and the third light-emitting parts (EA3) may be arranged in even rows. The first light-emitting parts (EA1) and the third light-emitting parts (EA3) may be arranged side by side in the first direction (X-axis direction) in each of the even rows. The first light-emitting parts (EA1) and the third light-emitting parts (EA3) may be arranged alternately in each of the even rows.
[0064] The second light-emitting units (EA2) and the fourth light-emitting units (EA4) can be arranged in odd columns. The second light-emitting units (EA2) and the fourth light-emitting units (EA4) can be arranged side by side in the second direction (Y-axis direction) in each of the odd columns. The second light-emitting units (EA2) and the fourth light-emitting units (EA4) can be arranged alternately in each of the odd columns.
[0065] The first light-emitting parts (EA1) and the third light-emitting parts (EA3) can be arranged in even columns. The first light-emitting parts (EA1) and the third light-emitting parts (EA3) can be arranged side by side in the second direction (Y-axis direction) in each of the even columns. The first light-emitting parts (EA1) and the third light-emitting parts (EA3) can be arranged alternately in each of the even columns.
[0066] Figure 6 is an enlarged plan view showing in detail an example of area A-1 of Figure 5.
[0067] In FIG. 6, for convenience of explanation, the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), the connecting electrode (BE1), the first light-emitting part (EA1), the second light-emitting part (EA2), the third light-emitting part (EA3), and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4) are shown as dotted lines, and the first color filter (CF1), the second color filter (CF2), and the third color filter (CF3) of the color filter layer (CFL) are shown as solid lines.
[0068] Referring to FIG. 6, the first color filter (CF1) may overlap with the first light-emitting unit (EA1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The first color filter (CF1) may not overlap with the second light-emitting unit (EA2), the third light-emitting unit (EA3), and the fourth light-emitting unit (EA4) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). As a result, the first light emitted from the first light-emitting unit (EA1) may be emitted through the first color filter (CF1).
[0069] The second color filter (CF2) may overlap with the second light-emitting part (EA2) and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The second color filter (CF2) may not overlap with the first light-emitting part (EA1) and the third light-emitting part (EA3) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). As a result, the second light emitted from the second light-emitting part (EA2) and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4) may be emitted through the second color filter (CF2).
[0070] The third color filter (CF3) may overlap with the third light-emitting part (EA3) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The third color filter (CF3) may not overlap with the first light-emitting part (EA1), the second light-emitting part (EA2), and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). As a result, the third light emitted from the third light-emitting part (EA3) may be emitted through the third color filter (CF3).
[0071] Since the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) have a planar shape of a mesh structure or a net structure, they can be arranged to surround the first light-emitting part (EA1), the second light-emitting part (EA2), the third light-emitting part (EA3), and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4). However, the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) may not be arranged to surround the first light-emitting part (EA1), the second light-emitting part (EA2), the third light-emitting part (EA3), and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4) at the boundary between the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE), the boundary between the driving electrode (TE) and the dummy pattern (DE), and the boundary between the sensing electrode (RE) and the dummy pattern (DE).
[0072] The first color filter (CF1) may overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The first color filter (CF1) may overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction) that are positioned between the first light-emitting part (EA1) and the second light-emitting part (EA2), between the second light-emitting part (EA2) and the third light-emitting part (EA3), between the third light-emitting part (EA3) and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4), and between the first light-emitting part (EA1) and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4). The first color filter (CF1) may be commonly positioned on the first light-emitting parts (EA1).
[0073] Each of the second color filter (CF2) and the third color filter (CF3) does not overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). Each of the second color filter (CF2) and the third color filter (CF3) may have the planar shape of an island. For example, the second color filters (CF2) placed on adjacent second light-emitting parts (EA2) in the fourth direction (DR4) and the fifth direction (DR5) may be placed apart from each other. The third color filters (CF3) placed on adjacent third light-emitting parts (EA3) in the fourth direction (DR4) and the fifth direction (DR5) may be placed apart from each other.
[0074] The intersection (CP) of the driving electrode (TE) may be the intersection area of the driving electrode (TE) between the first light-emitting part (EA1) and the second light-emitting part (EA2), the driving electrode (TE) between the second light-emitting part (EA2) and the third light-emitting part (EA3), the driving electrode (TE) between the third light-emitting part (EA3) and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4), and the driving electrode (TE) between the first light-emitting part (EA1) and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4). The intersection (CP) of the sensing electrode (RE) may be the intersection area of the sensing electrode (RE) between the first light-emitting part (EA1) and the second light-emitting part (EA2), the sensing electrode (RE) between the second light-emitting part (EA2) and the third light-emitting part (EA3), the sensing electrode (RE) between the third light-emitting part (EA3) and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4), and the sensing electrode (RE) between the first light-emitting part (EA1) and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4).
[0075] The first color filter (CF1) may overlap with the intersection (CP) of the driving electrode (TE) and the intersection (CP) of the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The second color filter (CF2) and the third color filter (CF3) may each not overlap with the intersection (CP) of the driving electrode (TE) and the intersection (CP) of the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0076] In the third direction (Z-axis direction), the overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the second color filter (CF2) may be arranged to surround the second light-emitting part (EA2) or the fourth light-emitting part (EA4). In the third direction (Z-axis direction), the overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the second color filter (CF2) may be surrounded by a driving electrode (TE) or a sensing electrode (RE).
[0077] In the third direction (Z-axis direction), the overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the third color filter (CF3) may be arranged to surround the third light-emitting part (EA3). In the third direction (Z-axis direction), the overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the third color filter (CF3) may be surrounded by a driving electrode (TE) or a sensing electrode (RE).
[0078] The overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the second color filter (CF2) in the third direction (Z-axis direction) and the overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the third color filter (CF3) in the third direction (Z-axis direction) may not overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0079] Meanwhile, the color filter layer (CFL) does not include a black matrix. Conventionally, the black matrix overlapped the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). As a result, external light was reflected from the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE), thereby preventing the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) from being visible to the user from the front of the display device (10).
[0080] Instead of the color filter layer (CFL) containing a black matrix, the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) contain a second conductive layer (CL2 in FIG. 8) that acts as an anti-reflective layer to reduce the reflection of light incident from the outside. As a result, even though the color filter layer (CFL) does not contain a black matrix, the reflection of light incident from the outside at the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) can be reduced, thereby preventing the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) from being visible to the user from the front of the display device (10). Therefore, the mask process for manufacturing the black matrix can be eliminated, thereby reducing the manufacturing cost of the color filter layer (CFL).
[0081] Meanwhile, the description of the low-reflection layer of the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) will be described later in conjunction with FIGS. 8 to 13.
[0082] FIG. 7 is a cross-sectional view showing an example of a display panel cut along I-I' of FIG. 6.
[0083] Referring to FIG. 7, a first buffer film (BF1) may be disposed on a substrate (SUB). The substrate (SUB) may be made of an insulating material such as a polymer resin. For example, the substrate (SUB) may be made of polyimide. The substrate (SUB) may be a flexible substrate capable of bending, folding, rolling, etc.
[0084] The first buffer layer (BF1) is a film for protecting the transistors of the thin-film transistor layer (TFTL) and the light-emitting layer (172) of the light-emitting element layer (EML) from moisture penetrating through a substrate (SUB) that is vulnerable to moisture permeability. The first buffer layer (BF1) may be composed of a plurality of inorganic films that are alternately stacked. For example, the first buffer layer (BF1) may be formed as a multilayer film in which one or more inorganic films among a silicon nitride layer, a silicon oxynitride layer, a silicon oxide layer, a titanium oxide layer, and an aluminum oxide layer are alternately stacked.
[0085] A transistor (ST1) may be disposed on the first buffer layer (BF1). The transistor (ST1) includes an active layer (ACT1), a gate electrode (G1), a source electrode (S1), and a drain electrode (D1).
[0086] The active layer (ACT1), source electrode (S1), and drain electrode (D1) of the transistor (ST1) may be disposed on the first buffer film (BF1). The active layer (ACT1) of the transistor (ST1) includes polycrystalline silicon, single-crystal silicon, low-temperature polycrystalline silicon, amorphous silicon, or an oxide semiconductor. The active layer (ACT1) that overlaps with the gate electrode (G1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction), which is the thickness direction of the substrate (SUB), may be defined as a channel region. The source electrode (S1) and the drain electrode (D1) are regions that do not overlap with the gate electrode (G1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction), and may have conductivity by doping ions or impurities into the silicon semiconductor or oxide semiconductor.
[0087] A gate insulating film (130) may be disposed on the active layer (ACT1), source electrode (S1), and drain electrode (D1) of the transistor (ST1). The gate insulating film (130) may be formed of an inorganic film, for example, a silicon nitride layer, a silicon oxynitride layer, a silicon oxide layer, a titanium oxide layer, or an aluminum oxide layer.
[0088] A gate electrode (G1) of a transistor (ST1) may be disposed on the gate insulating film (130). The gate electrode (G1) may overlap with the active layer (ACT1) in a third direction (Z-axis direction). The gate electrode (G1) may be formed as a single layer or a multilayer made of any one of molybdenum (Mo), aluminum (Al), chromium (Cr), gold (Au), titanium (Ti), nickel (Ni), neodymium (Nd), and copper (Cu), or an alloy thereof.
[0089] A first interlayer insulating film (141) may be disposed on the gate electrode (G1) of the transistor (ST1). The first interlayer insulating film (141) may be formed of an inorganic film, for example, a silicon nitride layer, a silicon oxynitride layer, a silicon oxide layer, a titanium oxide layer, or an aluminum oxide layer. The first interlayer insulating film (141) may be formed of a plurality of inorganic films.
[0090] A capacitor electrode (CAE) may be disposed on the first interlayer insulating film (141). The capacitor electrode (CAE) may overlap with the gate electrode (G1) of the first transistor (ST1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). Since the first interlayer insulating film (141) has a predetermined dielectric constant, a capacitor may be formed by the capacitor electrode (CAE), the gate electrode (G1), and the first interlayer insulating film (141) disposed between them. The capacitor electrode (CAE) may be formed as a single layer or a multilayer made of any one of molybdenum (Mo), aluminum (Al), chromium (Cr), gold (Au), titanium (Ti), nickel (Ni), neodymium (Nd), and copper (Cu), or an alloy thereof.
[0091] A second interlayer insulating film (142) may be disposed on the capacitor electrode (CAE). The second interlayer insulating film (142) may be formed of an inorganic film, for example, a silicon nitride layer, a silicon oxynitride layer, a silicon oxide layer, a titanium oxide layer, or an aluminum oxide layer. The second interlayer insulating film (142) may be formed of a plurality of inorganic films.
[0092] A first anode connection electrode (ANDE1) may be disposed on the second interlayer insulating film (142). The first anode connection electrode (ANDE1) may be connected to the drain electrode (D1) of the transistor (ST1) through a first connection contact hole (ANCT1) penetrating the gate insulating film (130), the first interlayer insulating film (141), and the second interlayer insulating film (142). The first anode connection electrode (ANDE1) may be formed as a single layer or a multilayer made of any one of molybdenum (Mo), aluminum (Al), chromium (Cr), gold (Au), titanium (Ti), nickel (Ni), neodymium (Nd), and copper (Cu), or an alloy thereof.
[0093] A first flattening film (160) for flattening the step difference caused by the transistor (ST1) may be disposed on the first anode connection electrode (ANDE1). The first flattening film (160) may be formed from an organic film such as an acrylic resin, an epoxy resin, a phenolic resin, a polyamide resin, or a polyimide resin.
[0094] A second anode connecting electrode (ANDE2) may be disposed on the first flattening film (160). The second anode connecting electrode (ANDE2) may be connected to the first anode connecting electrode (ANDE1) through a second connecting contact hole (ANCT2) that penetrates the first flattening film (160). The second anode connecting electrode (ANDE2) may be formed as a single layer or a multilayer made of any one of molybdenum (Mo), aluminum (Al), chromium (Cr), gold (Au), titanium (Ti), nickel (Ni), neodymium (Nd), and copper (Cu), or an alloy thereof.
[0095] A second planarization film (180) may be disposed on the second anode connection electrode (ANDE2). The second planarization film (180) may be formed from an organic film such as an acrylic resin, an epoxy resin, a phenolic resin, a polyamide resin, or a polyimide resin.
[0096] A light-emitting element (LEL) and a bank (190) may be disposed on the second planarization film (180). Each of the light-emitting elements (LEL) includes a pixel electrode (171), a light-emitting layer (172), and a common electrode (173).
[0097] The pixel electrode (171) can be placed on the second planarization film (180). The pixel electrode (171) can be connected to the second anode connection electrode (ANDE2) through a third connection contact hole (ANCT3) that penetrates the second planarization film (180).
[0098] In a top emission structure that emits light in the direction of a common electrode (173) based on a light-emitting layer (172), the pixel electrode (171) can be formed of a highly reflective metallic material such as a stacked structure of aluminum and titanium (Ti / Al / Ti), a stacked structure of aluminum and ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) (ITO / Al / ITO), an APC alloy, and a stacked structure of APC alloy and ITO (ITO / APC / ITO). The APC alloy is an alloy of silver (Ag), palladium (Pd), and copper (Cu).
[0099] A bank (190) may be formed to partition a pixel electrode (171) on a second planarization film (180) to define a first light-emitting part (EA1), a second light-emitting part (EA2), a third light-emitting part (EA3), and a fourth light-emitting part (EA4). A bank (190) may be positioned to cover the edges of the pixel electrode (171). A bank (190) may be formed from an organic film such as an acrylic resin, an epoxy resin, a phenolic resin, a polyamide resin, or a polyimide resin.
[0100] Each of the first light-emitting part (EA1), the second light-emitting part (EA2), the third light-emitting part (EA3), and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4) represents a region in which a pixel electrode (171), a light-emitting layer (172), and a common electrode (173) are sequentially stacked, and light is emitted by holes from the pixel electrode (171) and electrons from the common electrode (173) combining with each other in the light-emitting layer (172).
[0101] A light-emitting layer (172) may be disposed on the pixel electrode (171) and the bank (190). The light-emitting layer (172) may include an organic material and emit a predetermined color. For example, the light-emitting layer (172) includes a hole transporting layer, an organic material layer, and an electron transporting layer.
[0102] A common electrode (173) may be disposed on the light-emitting layer (172). The common electrode (173) may be disposed to cover the light-emitting layer (172). The common electrode (173) may be a common layer formed commonly on the first light-emitting part (EA1), the second light-emitting part (EA2), the third light-emitting part (EA3), and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4). A capping layer may be formed on the common electrode (173).
[0103] In the upper light-emitting structure, the common electrode (173) can be formed from a transparent conductive material (TCO) such as ITO or IZO that can transmit light, or a semi-transmissive conductive material such as magnesium (Mg), silver (Ag), or an alloy of magnesium (Mg) and silver (Ag). When the common electrode (173) is formed from a semi-transmissive conductive material, the light emission efficiency can be increased by the micro cavity.
[0104] An encapsulation layer (TFEL) may be disposed on the common electrode (173). The encapsulation layer (TFEL) includes at least one inorganic film to prevent oxygen or moisture from penetrating the light-emitting element layer (EML). Additionally, the encapsulation layer (TFEL) includes at least one organic film to protect the light-emitting element layer (EML) from foreign substances such as dust. For example, the encapsulation layer (TFEL) includes a first encapsulation inorganic film (TFE1), an encapsulation organic film (TFE2), and a second encapsulation inorganic film (TFE3).
[0105] A first encapsulating inorganic film (TFE1) may be disposed on a common electrode (173), an encapsulating organic film (TFE2) may be disposed on the first encapsulating inorganic film (TFE1), and a second encapsulating inorganic film (TFE3) may be disposed on the encapsulating organic film (TFE2). The first encapsulating inorganic film (TFE1) and the second encapsulating inorganic film (TFE3) may be formed as a multilayer film in which one or more inorganic films selected from a silicon nitride layer, a silicon oxynitride layer, a silicon oxide layer, a titanium oxide layer, and an aluminum oxide layer are alternately stacked. The encapsulating organic film (TFE2) may be an organic film such as an acrylic resin, an epoxy resin, a phenolic resin, a polyamide resin, or a polyimide resin.
[0106] A touch sensing layer (SENL) may be disposed on the encapsulation layer (TFEL). The touch sensing layer (SENL) includes a second buffer film (BF2), a connecting electrode (BE1), a first touch insulating film (TINS1), a driving electrode (TE), a sensing electrode (RE), and a second touch insulating film (TINS2).
[0107] The second buffer layer (BF2) can be formed of an inorganic film, for example, a silicon nitride layer, a silicon oxynitride layer, a silicon oxide layer, a titanium oxide layer, or an aluminum oxide layer.
[0109] A connecting electrode (BE1) may be disposed on the second buffer membrane (BF2). The connecting electrode (BE1) may be formed as a single layer or a multilayer made of any one of molybdenum (Mo), aluminum (Al), chromium (Cr), gold (Au), titanium (Ti), nickel (Ni), neodymium (Nd), and copper (Cu), or an alloy thereof. For example, the connecting electrode (BE1) includes a fifth conductive layer (CL5), a sixth conductive layer (CL6), and a seventh conductive layer (CL7) as shown in FIG. 9. A detailed description of the connecting electrode (BE1) will be provided later in conjunction with FIG. 9.
[0110] A first touch insulating film (TINS1) is disposed on the connecting electrode (BE1). The first touch insulating film (TINS1) may be formed of an inorganic film, for example, a silicon nitride layer, a silicon oxynitride layer, a silicon oxide layer, a titanium oxide layer, or an aluminum oxide layer. Alternatively, the first touch insulating film (TINS1) may be formed of an organic film such as an acrylic resin, an epoxy resin, a phenolic resin, a polyamide resin, or a polyimide resin.
[0111] A driving electrode (TE) and a sensing electrode (RE) may be disposed on the first touch insulating film (TINS1). In addition, not only the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE), but also the dummy patterns (DE) shown in FIG. 4, the first driving wires (TL1), the second driving wires (TL2), and the sensing wires (RL) may be disposed on the first touch insulating film (TINS1).
[0112] The driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) may overlap with the connecting electrode (BE1) in a third direction (Z-axis direction). The driving electrode (TE) may be connected to the connecting electrode (BE1) through a touch contact hole (TCNT1) penetrating the first touch insulating film (TINS1). The driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) include an anti-reflection layer to reduce the reflection of light incident from the outside. For example, the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) include a first conductive layer (CL1), a second conductive layer (CL2), a third conductive layer (CL3), and a fourth conductive layer (CL4) as shown in FIG. 8. A detailed description of the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) will be provided later in conjunction with FIG. 8.
[0113] A second touch insulating film (TINS2) is formed on the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE). The second touch insulating film (TINS2) can serve to flatten the step formed by the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1). The second touch insulating film (TINS2) can be formed from an organic film such as an acrylic resin, an epoxy resin, a phenolic resin, a polyamide resin, or a polyimide resin.
[0114] A color filter layer (CFL) may be disposed on the touch sensing layer (SENL). The color filter layer (CFL) may include a first color filter (CF1), a second color filter (CF2), and a third color filter (CF3).
[0115] The first color filter (CF1) transmits light in a first wavelength range and can overlap with the first light-emitting part (EA1) in a third direction (Z-axis direction). The first light-emitting part (EA1) can emit light of a first color corresponding to the light in the first wavelength range. The first wavelength range may be approximately 600 nm to 750 nm.
[0116] The first color filter (CF1) can overlap with the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The first color filter (CF1) can overlap with the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The first color filter (CF1) can overlap with the touch contact hole (TCNT1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0117] The second color filter (CF2) transmits light in a second wavelength range and can overlap with the second light-emitting part (EA2) in a third direction (Z-axis direction). The second light-emitting part (EA2) can emit light of a second color corresponding to the light in the second wavelength range. The second wavelength range may be approximately 480 nm to 560 nm.
[0118] The second color filter (CF2) may not overlap with the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The second color filter (CF2) may not overlap with the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The second color filter (CF2) may not overlap with the touch contact hole (TCNT1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0119] The third color filter (CF3) transmits light in a third wavelength range and can overlap with the third light-emitting part (EA3) in a third direction (Z-axis direction). The third light-emitting part (EA3) can emit light of a third color corresponding to the light in the third wavelength range. The third wavelength range may be approximately 370 nm to 460 nm.
[0120] The third color filter (CF3) may not overlap with the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The third color filter (CF3) may not overlap with the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The third color filter (CF3) may not overlap with the touch contact hole (TCNT1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0121] The overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the second color filter (CF2) in the third direction (Z-axis direction), and the overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the third color filter (CF3) in the third direction (Z-axis direction) may not overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0122] As shown in FIG. 7, the second color filter (CF2) and the third color filter (CF3) are placed on the first color filter (CF1). Therefore, after the first color filter (CF1) is formed on the touch sensing layer (SENL), either the second color filter (CF2) or the third color filter (CF3) is formed, and then the other of the second color filter (CF2) and the third color filter (CF3) can be formed. However, the embodiments of the present specification are not limited thereto.
[0123] For example, a first color filter (CF1) may be placed on either a second color filter (CF2) or a third color filter (CF3), and the other of the second color filter (CF2) or the third color filter (CF3) may be placed on the first color filter (CF1). In this case, either of the second color filter (CF2) or the third color filter (CF3) may be formed on the touch sensing layer (SENL), and then the first color filter (CF1) may be formed, and then the other of the second color filter (CF2) or the third color filter (CF3) may be formed.
[0124] Alternatively, the first color filter (CF1) may be placed on the second color filter (CF2) and the third color filter (CF3). In this case, either the second color filter (CF2) or the third color filter (CF3) may be formed on the touch sensing layer (SENL), and then the other of the second color filter (CF2) and the third color filter (CF3) may be formed, and then the first color filter (CF1) may be formed.
[0125] An overcoat layer (OC) for flattening may be disposed on the first color filter (CF1), the second color filter (CF2), and the third color filter (CF3). The overcoat layer (OC) may be formed from an organic film such as an acrylic resin, an epoxy resin, a phenolic resin, a polyamide resin, or a polyimide resin.
[0126] As shown in FIG. 7, instead of the color filter layer (CFL) containing a black matrix, the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) contain a second conductive layer (CL2 in FIG. 8) that acts as a low-reflection layer to reduce the reflection of light incident from the outside. Therefore, the mask process for manufacturing the black matrix can be eliminated, and thus the manufacturing cost of the color filter layer (CFL) can be reduced.
[0127] FIG. 8 is a cross-sectional view showing an example of the sensing electrode of FIG. 7. FIG. 8 shows an enlarged cross-sectional view of region B of FIG. 7.
[0128] Referring to FIG. 8, the sensing electrode (RE) includes a first conductive layer (CL1), a second conductive layer (CL2), a third conductive layer (CL3), and a fourth conductive layer (CL4).
[0129] A third conductive layer (CL3) is disposed on the first touch insulating film (TINS1), and a first conductive layer (CL1) may be disposed on the third conductive layer (CL3). A second conductive layer (CL2) is disposed on the first conductive layer (CL1), and a fourth conductive layer (CL4) may be disposed on the second conductive layer (CL2).
[0130] The thickness of the first conductive layer (CL1) may be thicker than the thickness of the second conductive layer (CL2), the thickness of the third conductive layer (CL3), and the thickness of the fourth conductive layer (CL4). For example, the thickness of the first conductive layer (CL1) may be approximately 6,000 A, the thickness of the second conductive layer (CL2) may be approximately 10 to 3,000 A, and the thickness of the third conductive layer (CL3) may be approximately 10 to 300 A.
[0131] The electrical conductivity of the first conductive layer (CL1) may be greater than the electrical conductivity of the second conductive layer (CL2), the electrical conductivity of the third conductive layer (CL3), and the electrical conductivity of the fourth conductive layer (CL4). The first conductive layer (CL1) may be made of any one of aluminum (Al), silver (Ag), and copper (Cu), or an alloy comprising any one of aluminum (Al), silver (Ag), and copper (Cu).
[0132] The second conductive layer (CL2) may be a low-reflection layer to reduce the reflection of light incident from the outside. The reflectance of the second conductive layer (CL2) may be lower than the reflectance of the first conductive layer (CL1), the reflectance of the third conductive layer (CL3), and the reflectance of the fourth conductive layer (CL4). The second conductive layer (CL2) may be composed of molybdenum (Mo), an alloy containing molybdenum (Mo), an oxide or nitride containing molybdenum (Mo), nickel (Ni), an alloy containing nickel (Ni), an oxide or nitride containing nickel (Ni), or an oxide or nitride containing aluminum (Al). For example, it is preferable that the second conductive layer (CL2) be molybdenum tantalum oxide (MTO).
[0133] The third conductive layer (CL3) may be a metallic material with high adhesion to the first touch insulating film (TINS1), which is an inorganic film. For example, the third conductive layer (CL3) may be made of either titanium (Ti) or ITO. Additionally, a conductive layer substantially identical to the third conductive layer (CL3) may be added between the second conductive layer (CL2) and the fourth conductive layer (CL4).
[0134] The fourth conductive layer (CL4) may be made of a transparent conductive oxide, such as ITO, which has excellent corrosion resistance. The third conductive layer (CL3) and the fourth conductive layer (CL4) may be made of the same material. The fourth conductive layer (CL4) may be omitted.
[0135] Meanwhile, an example of the driving electrode (TE) of FIG. 7 may be substantially the same as the sensing electrode (RE) described in conjunction with FIG. 8.
[0136] As shown in FIG. 8, by including a second conductive layer (CL2) having a low reflectivity in the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE), light incident from the outside can be prevented from being reflected by the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) and visible to the user, even if the color filter layer (CFL) does not include a black matrix. Accordingly, since the color filter layer (CFL) does not include a black matrix, the mask process for manufacturing the black matrix can be eliminated. Therefore, the manufacturing cost of the color filter layer (CFL) can be reduced.
[0137] FIG. 9 is a cross-sectional view showing an example of the connecting electrode of FIG. 7. FIG. 9 shows an enlarged cross-sectional view of region C of FIG. 7.
[0138] Referring to FIG. 9, the connecting electrode (BE1) includes a fifth conductive layer (CL5), a sixth conductive layer (CL6), and a seventh conductive layer (CL7).
[0139] The sixth conductive layer (CL6) is disposed on the second buffer membrane (BF2), and the fifth conductive layer (CL5) may be disposed on the sixth conductive layer (CL6). The seventh conductive layer (CL7) may be disposed on the fifth conductive layer (CL5).
[0140] The thickness of the fifth conductive layer (CL5) may be greater than the thickness of the sixth conductive layer (CL6) and the seventh conductive layer (CL7). The electrical conductivity of the fifth conductive layer (CL5) may be greater than the electrical conductivity of the sixth conductive layer (CL6) and the electrical conductivity of the seventh conductive layer (CL7). The fifth conductive layer (CL5) may be made of any one of aluminum (Al), silver (Ag), and copper (Cu), or an alloy comprising any one of aluminum (Al), silver (Ag), and copper (Cu). The fifth conductive layer (CL5) may be made of the same material as the first conductive layer (CL1) of the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE).
[0141] The sixth conductive layer (CL6) may be a metallic material with high adhesion to the second buffer film (BF2), which is an inorganic film. For example, the sixth conductive layer (CL6) may be made of either titanium (Ti) or a transparent conductive oxide such as ITO. The sixth conductive layer (CL6) may be made of the same material as the third conductive layer (CL3).
[0142] The seventh conductive layer (CL7) may be a metallic material with excellent corrosion resistance. For example, the seventh conductive layer (CL7) may be made of either titanium (Ti) or a transparent conductive oxide such as ITO. The seventh conductive layer (CL7) may be made of the same material as the sixth conductive layer (CL6).
[0143] Figure 10 is a graph showing the ratio of light reflected by the sensing electrode according to the wavelength range of light.
[0144] Referring to FIG. 10, the X-axis indicates the wavelength of light, and the Y-axis indicates the reflectance. FIG. 10 shows the ratio of light reflected by the sensing electrode (RE) by wavelength range when the second conductive layer (CL2) of the sensing electrode (RE) shown in FIG. 8 has a thickness of 550 Å and the fourth conductive layer (CL4) has a thickness of 50 Å. In addition, FIG. 10 illustrates the case where the second conductive layer (CL2) of the sensing electrode (RE) is made of molybdenum tantalum oxide (MTO).
[0145] When the second conductive layer (CL2) is made of molybdenum tantalum oxide (MTO), the ratio of light with a wavelength of approximately 650 nm reflected by the sensing electrode (RE) is the lowest, and the ratio of light with a wavelength of approximately 380 nm reflected by the sensing electrode (RE) is the highest. In particular, the ratio of light with a wavelength of approximately 540 nm reflected by the sensing electrode (RE) does not exceed 10%. In contrast, the ratio of light with a wavelength of approximately 350 nm to 430 nm reflected by the sensing electrode (RE) exceeds 40%, and the ratio of light with a wavelength of approximately 430 nm to 460 nm reflected by the sensing electrode (RE) exceeds 30%. In addition, the proportion of light having a wavelength of approximately 460 nm to 490 nm reflected by the sensing electrode (RE) exceeds 20%, and the proportion of light having a wavelength of approximately 490 nm to 540 nm reflected by the sensing electrode (RE) exceeds 10%.
[0146] As shown in Fig. 10, when the second conductive layer (CL2) is made of molybdenum tantalum oxide (MTO), the reflectance of light having a wavelength of 540 nm or less, i.e., light in the blue wavelength range, is high, so it is necessary to prevent or reduce the visibility of light in the blue wavelength range from the outside.
[0147] Figure 11 is a graph showing the light transmittance of the first color filter, the second color filter, and the third color filter according to the wavelength range of light.
[0148] Referring to Fig. 11, the X-axis indicates the wavelength of light, and the Y-axis indicates the transmittance.
[0149] The light transmittance (RT) of the first color filter (CF1) may be 50% or more in the wavelength range of approximately 600 nm to 750 nm. Additionally, the light transmittance of the first color filter (CF1) may be lower than 10% in the wavelength range of approximately 350 nm to 570 nm. That is, the first color filter (CF1) can block most of the light having a wavelength range of approximately 350 nm to 570 nm.
[0150] The light transmittance (GT) of the second color filter (CF2) may be 50% or more in the wavelength range of approximately 480 nm to 560 nm. Additionally, the light transmittance of the second color filter (CF2) may be less than 10% in the wavelength range of approximately 350 nm to 460 nm and in the wavelength range of approximately 570 nm to 730 nm. That is, the second color filter (CF2) can block most of the light having the wavelength range of approximately 350 nm to 460 nm and the wavelength range of approximately 570 nm to 730 nm.
[0151] The light transmittance (BT) of the third color filter (CF3) may be 50% or more in the wavelength range of approximately 370 nm to 460 nm. Additionally, the light transmittance of the second color filter (CF2) may be less than 10% in the wavelength range higher than approximately 460 nm. That is, the third color filter (CF3) can block most of the light having a wavelength range higher than approximately 460 nm.
[0152] Even if the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) include a second conductive layer (CL2) that acts as an anti-reflective layer to reduce the reflection of light incident from the outside, as shown in FIG. 10, the reflectance of the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) for light in the blue wavelength range is high, approximately 10% or more, so it is necessary to prevent or reduce the visibility of light in the blue wavelength range from the outside.
[0153] The first color filter (CF1) blocks most of the light having a wavelength range of approximately 350 nm to 570 nm, and the second color filter (CF2) blocks most of the light having a wavelength range of approximately 350 nm to 460 nm. Therefore, when the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) overlap with at least one of the first color filter (CF1) and the second color filter (CF2) in the third direction (Z-axis direction), light reflected from the second conductive layer (CL2) can be prevented from being output to the outside and visible to the user.
[0154] For example, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the first color filter (CF1) overlaps with the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). As a result, the first color filter (CF1) can block light in the blue wavelength range reflected from the second conductive layer (CL2). Therefore, light reflected from the second conductive layer (CL2) of the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) can be prevented from being output to the outside and visible to the user, or reduced.
[0155] Figure 12 is a cross-sectional view showing another example of the sensing electrode of Figure 7.
[0156] The embodiment of FIG. 12 differs from the embodiment of FIG. 8 only in that the fourth conductive layer (CL4) of the sensing electrode (RE) is omitted, so the description of the embodiment of FIG. 12 is omitted.
[0157] Figure 13 is a cross-sectional view showing another example of the sensing electrode of Figure 7.
[0158] The embodiment of FIG. 13 differs from the embodiment of FIG. 8 only in that the third conductive layer (CL3) and the fourth conductive layer (CL4) of the sensing electrode (RE) are omitted, so the description of the embodiment of FIG. 12 is omitted.
[0159] FIG. 14 is an enlarged plan view showing in detail another example of area A-1 of FIG. 5.
[0160] In FIG. 14, for convenience of explanation, the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), the connecting electrode (BE1), the first light-emitting part (EA1), the second light-emitting part (EA2), the third light-emitting part (EA3), and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4) are shown as dotted lines, and the first color filter (CF1), the second color filter (CF2), and the third color filter (CF3) of the color filter layer (CFL) are shown as solid lines.
[0161] The embodiment of FIG. 14 differs from the embodiment of FIG. 6 in that, instead of the first color filter (CF1), the second color filter (CF2) overlaps with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). FIG. 14 will be explained mainly in terms of the differences from the embodiment of FIG. 6.
[0162] Referring to FIG. 14, the second color filter (CF2) may overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The second color filter (CF2) may overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction) that are positioned between the first light-emitting part (EA1) and the second light-emitting part (EA2), between the second light-emitting part (EA2) and the third light-emitting part (EA3), between the third light-emitting part (EA3) and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4), and between the first light-emitting part (EA1) and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4). The second color filter (CF2) may be positioned commonly on the second light-emitting parts (EA2) and the fourth light-emitting parts (EA4).
[0163] Each of the first color filter (CF1) and the third color filter (CF3) does not overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). Each of the first color filter (CF1) and the third color filter (CF3) may have the planar shape of an island. For example, the first color filters (CF1) placed on first light-emitting parts (EA1) adjacent to each other in the fourth direction (DR4) and the fifth direction (DR5) may be placed apart from each other. The third color filters (CF3) placed on third light-emitting parts (EA3) adjacent to each other in the fourth direction (DR4) and the fifth direction (DR5) may be placed apart from each other.
[0164] The second color filter (CF2) may overlap with the intersection (CP) of the driving electrode (TE) and the intersection (CP) of the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). Each of the first color filter (CF1) and the third color filter (CF3) may not overlap with the intersection (CP) of the driving electrode (TE) and the intersection (CP) of the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0165] In the third direction (Z-axis direction), the overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the second color filter (CF2) may be arranged to surround the first light-emitting part (EA1). In the third direction (Z-axis direction), the overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the second color filter (CF2) may be surrounded by a driving electrode (TE) or a sensing electrode (RE).
[0166] In the third direction (Z-axis direction), the overlapping area of the second color filter (CF2) and the third color filter (CF3) may be arranged to surround the third light-emitting part (EA3). In the third direction (Z-axis direction), the overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the third color filter (CF3) may be surrounded by a driving electrode (TE) or a sensing electrode (RE).
[0167] The overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the second color filter (CF2) in the third direction (Z-axis direction) and the overlapping area of the second color filter (CF2) and the third color filter (CF3) in the third direction (Z-axis direction) may not overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0168] FIG. 15 is a cross-sectional view showing another example of a display panel cut along I-I' of FIG. 14.
[0169] The embodiment of FIG. 15 differs from the embodiment of FIG. 7 in that, instead of the first color filter (CF1), the second color filter (CF2) overlaps with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). FIG. 15 will be described mainly focusing on the differences from the embodiment of FIG. 7.
[0170] The first color filter (CF1) may not overlap with the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The first color filter (CF1) may not overlap with the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The first color filter (CF1) may not overlap with the touch contact hole (TCNT1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0171] The second color filter (CF2) can overlap with the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The second color filter (CF2) can overlap with the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The second color filter (CF2) can overlap with the touch contact hole (TCNT1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0172] The third color filter (CF3) may not overlap with the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The third color filter (CF3) may not overlap with the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The third color filter (CF3) may not overlap with the touch contact hole (TCNT1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0173] The overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the second color filter (CF2) in the third direction (Z-axis direction), and the overlapping area of the second color filter (CF2) and the third color filter (CF3) in the third direction (Z-axis direction) may not overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0174] As shown in FIG. 15, the second color filter (CF2) is placed on the first color filter (CF1) and the third color filter (CF3). Therefore, either the first color filter (CF1) or the third color filter (CF3) is formed on the touch sensing layer (SENL), and then the other of the first color filter (CF1) and the third color filter (CF3) is formed, and then the second color filter (CF2) can be formed. However, the embodiments of the present specification are not limited thereto.
[0175] For example, a second color filter (CF2) may be placed on either the first color filter (CF1) or the third color filter (CF3), and the other of the first color filter (CF1) or the third color filter (CF3) may be placed on the second color filter (CF2). In this case, either of the first color filter (CF1) or the third color filter (CF3) may be formed on the touch sensing layer (SENL), and then the second color filter (CF2) may be formed, and then the other of the first color filter (CF1) or the third color filter (CF3) may be formed.
[0176] Alternatively, the first color filter (CF1) and the third color filter (CF3) may be placed on the second color filter (CF2). In this case, after the first color filter (CF1) is formed on the touch sensing layer (SENL), either the second color filter (CF2) or the third color filter (CF3) is formed, and then the other of the second color filter (CF2) and the third color filter (CF3) may be formed.
[0177] As shown in FIGS. 14 and 15, instead of the color filter layer (CFL) containing a black matrix, the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) contain a second conductive layer (CL2) that acts as a low-reflection layer to reduce the reflection of light incident from the outside, as shown in FIG. 8. As a result, even though the color filter layer (CFL) does not contain a black matrix, the reflection of light incident from the outside at the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) can be reduced, thereby preventing the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) from being visible to the user on the front of the display device (10). Therefore, the mask process for manufacturing the black matrix can be eliminated, and thus the manufacturing cost of the color filter layer (CFL) can be reduced.
[0178] Additionally, as shown in FIGS. 14 and 15, the second color filter (CF2) overlaps with the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). As a result, the second color filter (CF2) can block light in the blue wavelength range reflected from the second conductive layer (CL2). Therefore, light reflected from the second conductive layer (CL2) of the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) can be prevented from being output to the outside and visible to the user, or reduced.
[0179] FIG. 16 is an enlarged plan view showing in detail another example of area A-1 of FIG. 5.
[0180] In FIG. 16, for convenience of explanation, the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), the connecting electrode (BE1), the first light-emitting part (EA1), the second light-emitting part (EA2), the third light-emitting part (EA3), and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4) are shown as dotted lines, and the first color filter (CF1), the second color filter (CF2), and the third color filter (CF3) of the color filter layer (CFL) are shown as solid lines.
[0181] The embodiment of FIG. 16 differs from the embodiment of FIG. 6 in that not only the first color filter (CF1) but also the second color filter (CF2) overlaps with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). FIG. 16 will be explained mainly in terms of the differences from the embodiment of FIG. 6.
[0182] Referring to FIG. 16, the first color filter (CF1) and the second color filter (CF2) may overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The first color filter (CF1) may overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction) that are positioned between the first light-emitting part (EA1) and the second light-emitting part (EA2), and between the first light-emitting part (EA1) and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4). The first color filter (CF1) may have the planar shape of an island. For example, the first color filters (CF1) positioned on the first light-emitting parts (EA1) that are adjacent to each other in the fourth direction (DR4) and the fifth direction (DR5) may be positioned apart from each other.
[0183] The second color filter (CF2) can overlap in a third direction (Z-axis direction) with a driving electrode (TE), a sensing electrode (RE), and a connecting electrode (BE1) disposed between the first light-emitting part (EA1) and the second light-emitting part (EA2), between the second light-emitting part (EA2) and the third light-emitting part (EA3), between the third light-emitting part (EA3) and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4), and between the first light-emitting part (EA1) and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4). The second color filter (CF2) can be disposed commonly on the second light-emitting parts (EA2) and the fourth light-emitting parts (EA4).
[0184] The third color filter (CF3) does not overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The third color filter (CF3) may have a planar shape of an island. The third color filters (CF3) placed on adjacent third light-emitting parts (EA3) in the fourth direction (DR4) and the fifth direction (DR5) may be placed apart from each other.
[0185] The area of the first color filter (CF1) may be larger than the area of the third color filter (CF3). The first color filter (CF1) and the second color filter (CF2) may overlap with the intersection (CP) of the driving electrode (TE) and the intersection (CP) of the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The third color filter (CF3) may not overlap with the intersection (CP) of the driving electrode (TE) and the intersection (CP) of the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0186] The overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the second color filter (CF2) in the third direction (Z-axis direction) may be arranged to surround the first light-emitting part (EA1). The overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the second color filter (CF2) in the third direction (Z-axis direction) may overlap with the driving electrode (TE) or the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0187] In the third direction (Z-axis direction), the overlapping area of the second color filter (CF2) and the third color filter (CF3) may be arranged to surround the third light-emitting part (EA3). In the third direction (Z-axis direction), the overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the third color filter (CF3) may be surrounded by a driving electrode (TE) or a sensing electrode (RE). In the third direction (Z-axis direction), the overlapping area of the second color filter (CF2) and the third color filter (CF3) may not overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0188] FIG. 17 is a cross-sectional view showing another example of a display panel cut along I-I' of FIG. 16.
[0189] The embodiment of FIG. 17 differs from the embodiment of FIG. 7 in that not only the first color filter (CF1) but also the second color filter (CF2) overlaps with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). FIG. 17 will be explained mainly in terms of the differences from the embodiment of FIG. 7.
[0190] The first color filter (CF1) can overlap with the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The first color filter (CF1) can overlap with the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The first color filter (CF1) can overlap with the touch contact hole (TCNT1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0191] The second color filter (CF2) can overlap with the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The second color filter (CF2) can overlap with the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The second color filter (CF2) can overlap with the touch contact hole (TCNT1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0192] The third color filter (CF3) may not overlap with the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The third color filter (CF3) may not overlap with the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The third color filter (CF3) may not overlap with the touch contact hole (TCNT1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0193] In the third direction (Z-axis direction), the overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the second color filter (CF2) may overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). In the third direction (Z-axis direction), the overlapping area of the second color filter (CF2) and the third color filter (CF3) may not overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). In the third direction (Z-axis direction), the overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the third color filter (CF3) may not overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0194] As shown in FIG. 17, the third color filter (CF3) is placed on the first color filter (CF1) and the second color filter (CF2) is placed on the third color filter (CF3). Therefore, the first color filter (CF1) can be formed on the touch sensing layer (SENL), then the third color filter (CF3) can be formed, and then the second color filter (CF2) can be formed. However, the embodiments of the present specification are not limited thereto.
[0195] For example, a second color filter (CF2) may be placed on the first color filter (CF1), and a third color filter (CF3) may be placed on the second color filter (CF2). In this case, the first color filter (CF1) may be formed on the touch sensing layer (SENL), then the second color filter (CF2) may be formed, and then the third color filter (CF3) may be formed.
[0196] Alternatively, either the first color filter (CF1) or the second color filter (CF2) may be placed on the third color filter (CF3), and the other of the first color filter (CF1) or the second color filter (CF2) may be placed on either the first color filter (CF1) or the second color filter (CF2). In this case, after the third color filter (CF3) is formed on the touch sensing layer (SENL), either the first color filter (CF1) or the second color filter (CF2) is formed, and then the other of the first color filter (CF1) or the second color filter (CF2) may be formed.
[0197] Alternatively, either the first color filter (CF1) or the third color filter (CF3) may be placed on the second color filter (CF2), and the other of the first color filter (CF1) or the third color filter (CF3) may be placed on either the first color filter (CF1) or the third color filter (CF3). In this case, after the second color filter (CF2) is formed on the touch sensing layer (SENL), either the first color filter (CF1) or the third color filter (CF3) is formed, and then the other of the first color filter (CF1) or the third color filter (CF3) may be formed.
[0198] As shown in FIGS. 16 and 17, instead of the color filter layer (CFL) containing a black matrix, the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) contain a second conductive layer (CL2) that acts as a low-reflection layer to reduce the reflection of light incident from the outside, as shown in FIG. 8. Therefore, the mask process for manufacturing the black matrix can be eliminated, and thus the manufacturing cost of the color filter layer (CFL) can be reduced.
[0199] Additionally, as shown in FIGS. 16 and 17, the second color filter (CF2) overlaps with the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0200] FIG. 18 is an enlarged plan view showing in detail another example of area A-1 of FIG. 5.
[0201] In FIG. 18, for convenience of explanation, the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), the connecting electrode (BE1), the first light-emitting part (EA1), the second light-emitting part (EA2), the third light-emitting part (EA3), and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4) are shown as dotted lines, and the first color filter (CF1), the second color filter (CF2), and the third color filter (CF3) of the color filter layer (CFL) are shown as solid lines.
[0202] The embodiment of FIG. 18 differs from the embodiment of FIG. 6 in that not only the first color filter (CF1) but also the third color filter (CF3) overlaps with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). FIG. 18 will be explained mainly in terms of the differences from the embodiment of FIG. 6.
[0203] Referring to FIG. 18, the first color filter (CF1) and the third color filter (CF3) can overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0204] The first color filter (CF1) may overlap with the driving electrode (TE), sensing electrode (RE), and connecting electrode (BE1) positioned between the first light-emitting part (EA1) and the second light-emitting part (EA2), and between the first light-emitting part (EA1) and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4), in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The first color filter (CF1) may have a planar shape of an island. For example, the first color filters (CF1) positioned on the first light-emitting parts (EA1) adjacent to each other in the fourth direction (DR4) and the fifth direction (DR5) may be positioned apart from each other.
[0205] The third color filter (CF3) may overlap with the driving electrode (TE), sensing electrode (RE), and connecting electrode (BE1) positioned between the second light-emitting part (EA2) and the third light-emitting part (EA3), and between the third light-emitting part (EA3) and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4), in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The third color filter (CF3) may have a planar shape of an island. For example, the third color filters (CF3) positioned on the third light-emitting parts (EA3) adjacent to each other in the fourth direction (DR4) and the fifth direction (DR5) may be positioned apart from each other.
[0206] The second color filter (CF2) does not overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The second color filter (CF2) may have a planar shape of an island. The second color filters (CF2) placed on adjacent second light-emitting parts (EA2) in the fourth direction (DR4) and the fifth direction (DR5) may be placed apart from each other.
[0207] The area of the first color filter (CF1) may be substantially the same as the area of the third color filter (CF3). The area of the first color filter (CF1) may be larger than the area of the second color filter (CF2). The area of the third color filter (CF3) may be larger than the area of the second color filter (CF2).
[0208] The first color filter (CF1) and the third color filter (CF3) may overlap with the intersection (CP) of the driving electrode (TE) and the intersection (CP) of the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The second color filter (CF2) may not overlap with the intersection (CP) of the driving electrode (TE) and the intersection (CP) of the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0209] The overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the second color filter (CF2) in the third direction (Z-axis direction) may not overlap with the driving electrode (TE) or the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The overlapping area of the second color filter (CF2) and the third color filter (CF3) in the third direction (Z-axis direction) may not overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0210] FIG. 19 is a cross-sectional view showing another example of a display panel cut along I-I' of FIG. 18.
[0211] The embodiment of FIG. 19 differs from the embodiment of FIG. 7 in that not only the first color filter (CF1) but also the third color filter (CF3) overlaps with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). FIG. 19 will be explained mainly in terms of the differences from the embodiment of FIG. 7.
[0212] The first color filter (CF1) can overlap with the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The first color filter (CF1) can overlap with the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The first color filter (CF1) can overlap with the touch contact hole (TCNT1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0213] The second color filter (CF2) may not overlap with the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The second color filter (CF2) may not overlap with the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The second color filter (CF2) may not overlap with the touch contact hole (TCNT1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0214] The third color filter (CF3) can overlap with the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The third color filter (CF3) can overlap with the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The third color filter (CF3) can overlap with the touch contact hole (TCNT1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0215] The overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the second color filter (CF2) in the third direction (Z-axis direction) may not overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The overlapping area of the second color filter (CF2) and the third color filter (CF3) in the third direction (Z-axis direction) may not overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the third color filter (CF3) in the third direction (Z-axis direction) may overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0216] As shown in FIG. 19, the third color filter (CF3) is placed on the first color filter (CF1) and the second color filter (CF2) is placed on the third color filter (CF3). Therefore, the first color filter (CF1) can be formed on the touch sensing layer (SENL), then the third color filter (CF3) can be formed, and then the second color filter (CF2) can be formed. However, the embodiments of the present specification are not limited thereto.
[0217] For example, a second color filter (CF2) may be placed on the first color filter (CF1), and a third color filter (CF3) may be placed on the second color filter (CF2). In this case, the first color filter (CF1) may be formed on the touch sensing layer (SENL), then the second color filter (CF2) may be formed, and then the third color filter (CF3) may be formed.
[0218] Alternatively, either the first color filter (CF1) or the second color filter (CF2) may be placed on the third color filter (CF3), and the other of the first color filter (CF1) or the second color filter (CF2) may be placed on either the first color filter (CF1) or the second color filter (CF2). In this case, after the third color filter (CF3) is formed on the touch sensing layer (SENL), either the first color filter (CF1) or the second color filter (CF2) is formed, and then the other of the first color filter (CF1) or the second color filter (CF2) may be formed.
[0219] Alternatively, either the first color filter (CF1) or the third color filter (CF3) may be placed on the second color filter (CF2), and the other of the first color filter (CF1) or the third color filter (CF3) may be placed on either the first color filter (CF1) or the third color filter (CF3). In this case, after the second color filter (CF2) is formed on the touch sensing layer (SENL), either the first color filter (CF1) or the third color filter (CF3) is formed, and then the other of the first color filter (CF1) or the third color filter (CF3) may be formed.
[0220] As shown in FIGS. 18 and 19, instead of the color filter layer (CFL) containing a black matrix, the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) contain a second conductive layer (CL2) that acts as a low-reflection layer to reduce the reflection of light incident from the outside, as shown in FIG. Therefore, the mask process for manufacturing the black matrix can be eliminated, thereby reducing the manufacturing cost of the color filter layer (CFL).
[0221] Additionally, as shown in FIGS. 18 and 19, the second color filter (CF2) overlaps with the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0222] FIG. 20 is an enlarged plan view showing in detail another example of area A-1 of FIG. 5.
[0223] In FIG. 20, for convenience of explanation, the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), the connecting electrode (BE1), the first light-emitting part (EA1), the second light-emitting part (EA2), the third light-emitting part (EA3), and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4) are shown as dotted lines, and the first color filter (CF1), the second color filter (CF2), and the third color filter (CF3) of the color filter layer (CFL) are shown as solid lines.
[0224] The embodiment of FIG. 20 differs from the embodiment of FIG. 6 in that, instead of the first color filter (CF1), the second color filter (CF2) and the third color filter (CF3) overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). FIG. 20 will be explained mainly in terms of the differences from the embodiment of FIG. 6.
[0225] Referring to FIG. 20, the second color filter (CF2) and the third color filter (CF3) can overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0226] The second color filter (CF2) can overlap in a third direction (Z-axis direction) with a driving electrode (TE), a sensing electrode (RE), and a connecting electrode (BE1) disposed between the first light-emitting part (EA1) and the second light-emitting part (EA2), between the second light-emitting part (EA2) and the third light-emitting part (EA3), between the third light-emitting part (EA3) and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4), and between the first light-emitting part (EA1) and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4). The second color filter (CF2) can be disposed commonly on the second light-emitting parts (EA2) and the fourth light-emitting parts (EA4).
[0227] The third color filter (CF3) may overlap with the driving electrode (TE), sensing electrode (RE), and connecting electrode (BE1) positioned between the second light-emitting part (EA2) and the third light-emitting part (EA3), and between the third light-emitting part (EA3) and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4), in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The third color filter (CF3) may have a planar shape of an island. For example, the third color filters (CF3) positioned on the third light-emitting parts (EA3) adjacent to each other in the fourth direction (DR4) and the fifth direction (DR5) may be positioned apart from each other.
[0228] The first color filter (CF1) does not overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The first color filter (CF1) may have a planar shape of an island. The first color filters (CF1) placed on adjacent first light-emitting parts (EA1) in the fourth direction (DR4) and the fifth direction (DR5) may be placed apart from each other.
[0229] The area of the third color filter (CF3) may be larger than the area of the first color filter (CF1). The second color filter (CF2) and the third color filter (CF3) may overlap with the intersection (CP) of the driving electrode (TE) and the intersection (CP) of the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The first color filter (CF1) may not overlap with the intersection (CP) of the driving electrode (TE) and the intersection (CP) of the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0230] In the third direction (Z-axis direction), the overlapping area of the second color filter (CF2) and the third color filter (CF3) may be arranged to surround the third light-emitting part (EA3). In the third direction (Z-axis direction), the overlapping area of the second color filter (CF2) and the third color filter (CF3) may overlap with the driving electrode (TE) or the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0231] In the third direction (Z-axis direction), the overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the second color filter (CF2) may be arranged to surround the first light-emitting part (EA1). In the third direction (Z-axis direction), the overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the second color filter (CF2) may be surrounded by a driving electrode (TE) or a sensing electrode (RE). In the third direction (Z-axis direction), the overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the second color filter (CF2) may not overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0232] FIG. 21 is a cross-sectional view showing another example of a display panel cut along I-I' of FIG. 20.
[0233] The embodiment of FIG. 21 differs from the embodiment of FIG. 7 in that, instead of the first color filter (CF1), the second color filter (CF2) and the third color filter (CF3) overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). FIG. 21 will be explained mainly in terms of the differences from the embodiment of FIG. 7.
[0234] The first color filter (CF1) may not overlap with the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The first color filter (CF1) may not overlap with the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The first color filter (CF1) may not overlap with the touch contact hole (TCNT1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0235] The second color filter (CF2) can overlap with the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The second color filter (CF2) can overlap with the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The second color filter (CF2) can overlap with the touch contact hole (TCNT1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0236] The third color filter (CF3) can overlap with the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The third color filter (CF3) can overlap with the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The third color filter (CF3) can overlap with the touch contact hole (TCNT1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0237] The overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the second color filter (CF2) in the third direction (Z-axis direction) may not overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The overlapping area of the second color filter (CF2) and the third color filter (CF3) in the third direction (Z-axis direction) may overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the third color filter (CF3) in the third direction (Z-axis direction) may not overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0238] As shown in FIG. 21, the third color filter (CF3) is placed on the first color filter (CF1) and the second color filter (CF2) is placed on the third color filter (CF3). Therefore, the first color filter (CF1) can be formed on the touch sensing layer (SENL), then the third color filter (CF3) can be formed, and then the second color filter (CF2) can be formed. However, the embodiments of the present specification are not limited thereto.
[0239] For example, a second color filter (CF2) may be placed on the first color filter (CF1), and a third color filter (CF3) may be placed on the second color filter (CF2). In this case, the first color filter (CF1) may be formed on the touch sensing layer (SENL), then the second color filter (CF2) may be formed, and then the third color filter (CF3) may be formed.
[0240] Alternatively, either the first color filter (CF1) or the second color filter (CF2) may be placed on the third color filter (CF3), and the other of the first color filter (CF1) or the second color filter (CF2) may be placed on either the first color filter (CF1) or the second color filter (CF2). In this case, after the third color filter (CF3) is formed on the touch sensing layer (SENL), either the first color filter (CF1) or the second color filter (CF2) is formed, and then the other of the first color filter (CF1) or the second color filter (CF2) may be formed.
[0241] Alternatively, either the first color filter (CF1) or the third color filter (CF3) may be placed on the second color filter (CF2), and the other of the first color filter (CF1) or the third color filter (CF3) may be placed on either the first color filter (CF1) or the third color filter (CF3). In this case, after the second color filter (CF2) is formed on the touch sensing layer (SENL), either the first color filter (CF1) or the third color filter (CF3) is formed, and then the other of the first color filter (CF1) or the third color filter (CF3) may be formed.
[0242] As shown in FIGS. 20 and 21, instead of the color filter layer (CFL) containing a black matrix, the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) contain a second conductive layer (CL2) that acts as a low-reflection layer to reduce the reflection of light incident from the outside, as shown in FIG. 8. Therefore, the mask process for manufacturing the black matrix can be eliminated, and thus the manufacturing cost of the color filter layer (CFL) can be reduced.
[0243] Additionally, as shown in FIGS. 20 and 21, the second color filter (CF2) overlaps with the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0244] FIG. 22 is an enlarged plan view showing in detail another example of area A-1 of FIG. 5.
[0245] In FIG. 22, for convenience of explanation, the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), the connecting electrode (BE1), the first light-emitting part (EA1), the second light-emitting part (EA2), the third light-emitting part (EA3), and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4) are shown as dotted lines, and the first color filter (CF1), the second color filter (CF2), and the third color filter (CF3) of the color filter layer (CFL) are shown as solid lines.
[0246] The embodiment of FIG. 22 differs from the embodiment of FIG. 6 in that not only the first color filter (CF1), but also the second color filter (CF2) and the third color filter (CF3) overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). FIG. 22 will be explained mainly in terms of the differences from the embodiment of FIG. 6.
[0247] Referring to FIG. 22, the first color filter (CF1), the second color filter (CF2), and the third color filter (CF3) can overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0248] The first color filter (CF1) may overlap with the driving electrode (TE), sensing electrode (RE), and connecting electrode (BE1) positioned between the first light-emitting part (EA1) and the second light-emitting part (EA2), and between the first light-emitting part (EA1) and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4), in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The first color filter (CF1) may have a planar shape of an island. For example, the first color filters (CF1) positioned on the first light-emitting parts (EA1) adjacent to each other in the fourth direction (DR4) and the fifth direction (DR5) may be positioned apart from each other.
[0249] The second color filter (CF2) can overlap in a third direction (Z-axis direction) with a driving electrode (TE), a sensing electrode (RE), and a connecting electrode (BE1) disposed between the first light-emitting part (EA1) and the second light-emitting part (EA2), between the second light-emitting part (EA2) and the third light-emitting part (EA3), between the third light-emitting part (EA3) and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4), and between the first light-emitting part (EA1) and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4). The second color filter (CF2) can be disposed commonly on the second light-emitting parts (EA2) and the fourth light-emitting parts (EA4).
[0250] The third color filter (CF3) may overlap with the driving electrode (TE), sensing electrode (RE), and connecting electrode (BE1) positioned between the second light-emitting part (EA2) and the third light-emitting part (EA3), and between the third light-emitting part (EA3) and the fourth light-emitting part (EA4), in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The third color filter (CF3) may have a planar shape of an island. For example, the third color filters (CF3) positioned on the third light-emitting parts (EA3) adjacent to each other in the fourth direction (DR4) and the fifth direction (DR5) may be positioned apart from each other.
[0251] The area of the first color filter (CF1) may be substantially the same as the area of the third color filter (CF3). The first color filter (CF1), the second color filter (CF2), and the third color filter (CF3) may overlap with the intersection (CP) of the driving electrode (TE) and the intersection (CP) of the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0252] The overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the second color filter (CF2) in the third direction (Z-axis direction) may be arranged to surround the first light-emitting part (EA1). The overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the second color filter (CF2) in the third direction (Z-axis direction) may overlap with the driving electrode (TE) or the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0253] In the third direction (Z-axis direction), the overlapping area of the second color filter (CF2) and the third color filter (CF3) may be arranged to surround the third light-emitting part (EA3). In the third direction (Z-axis direction), the overlapping area of the second color filter (CF2) and the third color filter (CF3) may overlap with the driving electrode (TE) or the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0254] FIG. 23 is a cross-sectional view showing another example of a display panel cut along I-I' of FIG. 22.
[0255] The embodiment of FIG. 23 differs from the embodiment of FIG. 7 in that not only the first color filter (CF1), but also the second color filter (CF2) and the third color filter (CF3) overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). FIG. 23 will be explained mainly in terms of the differences from the embodiment of FIG. 7.
[0256] The first color filter (CF1) can overlap with the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The first color filter (CF1) can overlap with the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The first color filter (CF1) can overlap with the touch contact hole (TCNT1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0257] The second color filter (CF2) can overlap with the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The second color filter (CF2) can overlap with the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The second color filter (CF2) can overlap with the touch contact hole (TCNT1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0258] The third color filter (CF3) can overlap with the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The third color filter (CF3) can overlap with the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). The third color filter (CF3) can overlap with the touch contact hole (TCNT1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0259] In the third direction (Z-axis direction), the overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the second color filter (CF2) may overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). In the third direction (Z-axis direction), the overlapping area of the second color filter (CF2) and the third color filter (CF3) may overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction). In the third direction (Z-axis direction), the overlapping area of the first color filter (CF1) and the third color filter (CF3) may overlap with the driving electrode (TE), the sensing electrode (RE), and the connecting electrode (BE1) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
[0260] As shown in FIG. 23, the third color filter (CF3) is placed on the first color filter (CF1) and the second color filter (CF2) is placed on the third color filter (CF3). Therefore, the first color filter (CF1) can be formed on the touch sensing layer (SENL), then the third color filter (CF3) can be formed, and then the second color filter (CF2) can be formed. However, the embodiments of the present specification are not limited thereto.
[0261] For example, a second color filter (CF2) may be placed on the first color filter (CF1), and a third color filter (CF3) may be placed on the second color filter (CF2). In this case, the first color filter (CF1) may be formed on the touch sensing layer (SENL), then the second color filter (CF2) may be formed, and then the third color filter (CF3) may be formed.
[0262] Alternatively, either the first color filter (CF1) or the second color filter (CF2) may be placed on the third color filter (CF3), and the other of the first color filter (CF1) or the second color filter (CF2) may be placed on either the first color filter (CF1) or the second color filter (CF2). In this case, after the third color filter (CF3) is formed on the touch sensing layer (SENL), either the first color filter (CF1) or the second color filter (CF2) is formed, and then the other of the first color filter (CF1) or the second color filter (CF2) may be formed.
[0263] Alternatively, either the first color filter (CF1) or the third color filter (CF3) may be placed on the second color filter (CF2), and the other of the first color filter (CF1) or the third color filter (CF3) may be placed on either the first color filter (CF1) or the third color filter (CF3). In this case, after the second color filter (CF2) is formed on the touch sensing layer (SENL), either the first color filter (CF1) or the third color filter (CF3) is formed, and then the other of the first color filter (CF1) or the third color filter (CF3) may be formed.
[0264] As shown in FIGS. 22 and 23, instead of the color filter layer (CFL) containing a black matrix, the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) contain a second conductive layer (CL2) that acts as a low-reflection layer to reduce the reflection of light incident from the outside, as shown in FIG.
[0265] Additionally, as shown in FIGS. 22 and 23, the second color filter (CF2) overlaps with the driving electrode (TE) and the sensing electrode (RE) in the third direction (Z-axis direction).
