[0024] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 8, a steering device according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a ball nut part (100), a ball screw part (200), a ball part (300), and a deflector part (400).
[0025] The ball nut portion (100) is formed in a hollow shape, and a ball screw portion (200) is engaged with the inner side of the ball nut portion (100) so as to be movable along the longitudinal direction (Y-axis direction based on FIG. 2).
[0026] The ball nut portion (100) is provided with an insertion hole portion (110) formed through it. A plurality of insertion holes (110) are formed through the ball nut portion (100). A deflector portion (400) is mounted in the insertion hole portion (110). The size and number of the insertion holes (110) are set according to the size and number of the deflector portions (400) mounted in the insertion holes (110).
[0027] The ball screw portion (200) is inserted into the inner side of the hollow ball nut portion (100), and a ball screw groove (210) is formed on the outer surface. The ball screw groove (210) of the ball screw portion (200) is formed in a spiral shape and engages with the inner surface of the ball nut portion (100).
[0028] The ball screw portion (200) rotates and moves along the longitudinal direction (Y-axis direction based on FIG. 2) of the ball nut portion (100). The ball screw portion (200) is coupled to the ball nut portion (100) via the ball portion (300).
[0029] The ball portion (300) is formed in a spherical shape and is interposed between the inner surface of the ball nut portion (100) and the ball screw groove (210) of the ball screw portion (200). The ball portion (300) is mounted in the ball screw groove (201) of the ball screw portion (200) and moves along the ball screw groove (210).
[0030] The deflector part (400) is mounted in the insertion hole part (110) of the ball nut part (100), guides the movement of the ball part (300) to move along the ball screw groove (210), and relieves impact when in contact with the insertion hole part (110).
[0031] The deflector part (400) includes a deflector body part (410) and a buffer part (420). The deflector body part (410) is inserted into and mounted in the insertion hole part (110) and guides the movement of the ball part (300) toward the ball screw groove (210).
[0032] The surface of the deflector body (410) of the deflector part (400) facing the ball part (300) guides the ball part (300) to circulate along the ball screw groove (210). Accordingly, the ball part (300) can continuously circulate along the ball screw groove (210) when the ball screw part (200) moves, guided by the deflector body (410).
[0033] The cushioning portion (420) is formed on the outer surface of the deflector body portion (410) and is interposed between the deflector body portion (410) and the insertion hole portion (110), thereby mitigating the impact between the deflector body portion (410) and the insertion hole portion (110). That is, the cushioning portion (420) is formed on the outer surface of the deflector body portion (410) so as to face the inner surface of the insertion hole portion (110).
[0034] The cushioning portion (420) is interposed between the deflector body portion (410) and the insertion hole portion (110), and by mitigating the impact between the deflector body portion (410) and the insertion hole portion (110), the occurrence of noise between the ball screw portion (200) and the deflector body portion (410) can be reduced.
[0035] The cushioning part (420) is made of a material capable of elastic deformation. Since the cushioning part (420) is made of a material capable of elastic deformation, it can absorb shock and noise by elastically deforming between the deflector body part (410) and the insertion hole part (110).
[0036] In addition, the cushioning part (420) can be elastically deformed so that the deflector body part (410) is in close contact with the insertion hole part (110), thereby preventing the deflector body part (410) of the deflector part (400) from detaching.
[0037] The deflector body (410) and the buffer (420) are made of different materials and are integrally formed by double injection molding.
[0038] The deflector body (410) is made of a plastic material. The deflector body (410) may be made of PA66 (Polyamide 66) among plastic materials. This PA66 is a polymer compound composed of polyamide polymers and has strong properties of wear resistance and chemical resistance. Therefore, the deflector body (410) is made of a plastic material such as PA66 that can have a set strength, contacts the ball (300), and guides the movement of the ball (300).
[0039] The cushioning part (420) is made of a rubber material and can absorb shocks and noises generated between the deflector body part (410) and the insertion hole part (110) while elastically deforming. The cushioning part (420) can be made of an elastically deformable material, including not only rubber such as natural rubber but also materials such as silicone.
[0040] The deflector body part (410) is formed to a set size, and the buffer part (420) is double injection molded to be formed on the outer surface of the deflector body part (410).
[0041] The deflector body (410) and the buffer (420), which are made of different materials, are formed as a single unit by double injection molding, so that the time required to mount and assemble the deflector part (400) into the insertion hole (110) can be reduced.
[0042] In the present invention, an insertion groove (111) into which the outer surface of the elastically restored cushioning part (420) is inserted is formed in the insertion hole part (110) of the ball nut part (100). The insertion groove (111) is formed concavely in the insertion hole part (110). The cross-sectional shape of the insertion groove (111) may be formed as a triangle, a hemisphere, etc.
[0043] Referring to FIG. 7, the cushioning portion (420) of the deflector portion (400) is compressed and inserted into the insertion hole portion (110). After being inserted into the insertion hole portion (110), the cushioning portion (420) is elastically restored and inserted into the insertion groove (111) formed concavely in the insertion hole portion (110). In FIG. 7, the structure of the deflector portion (400) being inserted from the outside (upper side based on FIG. 7) of the insertion hole portion (110) is shown, but it is not limited thereto and may be inserted from the inside (lower side based on FIG. 7) of the insertion hole portion (110).
[0044] The outer diameter of the deflector portion (400) including the buffer portion (420) is formed to be larger than the inner diameter of the insertion groove (111).
[0045] Referring to FIG. 7 (a), the deflector portion (400) is inserted into the insertion hole portion (110). Referring to FIG. 7 (b), the elastically deformable cushioning portion (420) is compressed and deformed while in contact with the inner surface of the insertion hole portion (110). At this time, the compressed cushioning portion (420) is elastically restored toward the insertion groove (111) of the insertion hole portion (110). Referring to FIG. 7 (c), the cushioning portion (420) that has been elastically restored in the insertion groove (111) maintains a state of being inserted into the insertion groove (111). That is, the outer surface of the elastically restored cushioning portion (420) is inserted into the insertion groove (111), thereby preventing the deflector portion (400) from shaking or detaching from the insertion hole portion (110).
[0046] The insertion groove (111) is formed along the inner surface of the insertion hole portion (110) and over the entire insertion hole portion (110). Since the insertion groove (111) is formed over the entire inner surface of the insertion hole portion (110), the insertion area of the cushioning portion (420) is increased, and the deflector portion (400) is stably mounted in the insertion hole portion (110), so that it can be prevented from shaking or detaching from the insertion hole portion (110).
[0047] According to the steering device of the present invention, a cushioning portion (420) of an elastically deformable deflector portion (400) is interposed between the insertion hole portion (110) of the ball nut portion (100) and the deflector body portion (410) to reduce noise.
[0048] In addition, according to the present invention, the deflector part (400) can reduce noise and improve the ride comfort of the passenger.
[0050] Although specific embodiments of the present invention have been described above, the spirit and scope of the present invention are not limited to these specific embodiments, and various modifications and variations are possible within the scope of the essence of the present invention as described in the claims by those skilled in the art without altering the essence of the present invention.
