Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for providing streaming video through a media gateway, characterized by comprising: (A) a step in which the media gateway generates an encryption profile for the video recording device connected to the media gateway; (B) a step in which the video recording device receives and stores the encryption profile from the media gateway; (C) a step in which the video recording device encrypts the captured video through the encryption profile and streams it to the media gateway; (D) a step in which the media gateway transmits the received streaming video to the media server; and (E) a step in which the media server provides the received streaming video to a user terminal connected to the media server. The present invention has the effect of strengthening security for an external network that is relatively vulnerable to security by encrypting the streaming video generated by the video recording device and transmitting it to a media gateway configured as an internal network.
