Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a wearable exercise aid, and more specifically, to a wearable exercise aid that is worn on a user's knee and provides resistance during exercise, thereby selectively strengthening the quadriceps femoris on the front of the thigh and the hamstrings on the back of the thigh, which are muscles around the knee. Background Technology

[0002] Traditionally, rubber bands have been primarily used as exercise aids to strengthen muscles around the knee, such as those in the thighs or calves.

[0003] For example, U.S. Patent No. 11738232 discloses technology for an exercise aid using a rope-shaped elastic band, and technology for strengthening muscles through movements such as extending or bending the legs in various exercise postures using said elastic band.

[0004] However, in the case of muscle strengthening using such rubber bands, there is a problem in that use at the correct position is required to accurately provide load to the muscles.

[0005] Accordingly, technologies for exercise aids utilizing belts or other complex band structures, in addition to simple elastic bands, are being developed. For example, U.S. Patent No. 11369831 discloses a device that is worn on the thigh and provides exercise load using a band.

[0006] However, most exercise aids are designed for exercising muscles in specific locations, so there is the inconvenience of having to use various aids simultaneously to strengthen muscles in various locations. Prior art literature

[0007] U.S. Patent No. 11738232 U.S. Patent No. 11369831 The problem to be solved

[0008] Accordingly, the technical problem of the present invention is conceived from this point, and the objective of the present invention is to provide a wearable exercise aid that can selectively strengthen the quadriceps femoris on the front of the thigh and the hamstrings on the back of the thigh, which are muscles around the knee, by being worn on the user's knee and providing resistance during exercise. means of solving the problem

[0009] An exercise aid according to one embodiment for realizing the purpose of the present invention described above comprises a band portion, a coupling unit, an upper front wire portion and an upper rear wire portion, and a lower front wire portion and a lower rear wire portion. The band portion is worn on the user's body. The coupling unit is selectively positioned at the front and rear portions of the band portion. The upper front wire portion and the upper rear wire portion extend upward from the coupling unit. The lower front wire portion and the lower rear wire portion extend downward from the coupling unit.

[0010] In one embodiment, the band portion is worn on the user's knee, and the position of the coupling unit can be varied according to the user's choice.

[0011] In one embodiment, when the coupling unit is located at the front end, a load can be applied to the lower thigh muscles, and when the coupling unit is located at the rear end, a load can be applied to the upper thigh muscles.

[0012] In one embodiment, as the coupling unit is selectively positioned at the front end and the rear end, the lengths of the upper front wire section and the upper rear wire section are varied, and the lengths of the lower front wire section and the lower rear wire section can also be varied.

[0013] In one embodiment, when the coupling unit is located at the front end, the length of the upper front end wire section may be shorter than the length of the upper rear end wire section, and the length of the lower front end wire section may be shorter than the length of the lower rear end wire section.

[0014] In one embodiment, when the coupling unit is located at the rear end, the length of the upper front wire section may be longer than the length of the upper rear wire section, and the length of the lower front wire section may be longer than the length of the lower rear wire section.

[0015] In one embodiment, the apparatus may further include an upper front fixing part located at the upper front edge of the band portion to fix the end of the upper front wire portion, an upper rear fixing part located at the upper rear edge of the band portion to fix the end of the upper rear wire portion, a lower front fixing part located at the lower front edge of the band portion to fix the end of the lower front wire portion, and a lower rear fixing part located at the lower rear edge of the band portion to fix the end of the lower rear wire portion.

[0016] In one embodiment, the upper front wire portion, the upper front fixing portion, the upper rear wire portion, and the upper rear fixing portion are provided as a pair, and the lower front wire portion, the lower front fixing portion, the lower rear wire portion, and the lower rear fixing portion may also be provided as a pair.

[0017] In one embodiment, the upper front fixing part, the upper rear fixing part, the lower front fixing part, and the lower rear fixing part can control the exercise load by adjusting the extended length of each of the upper front wire part, the upper rear wire part, the lower front wire part, and the lower rear wire part.

[0018] In one embodiment, the upper front wire portion, the upper rear wire portion, the lower front wire portion, and the lower rear wire portion may be elastic wires.

[0019] In one embodiment, the coupling unit includes a pair of first and second coupling parts, and the first and second coupling parts may be coupled or uncoupled from each other by including a protrusion and a groove. Effects of the invention

[0020] According to embodiments of the present invention, as the coupling position of the coupling unit varies while worn on the user's body, load can be provided to different muscles of the user, thereby allowing for the selective and easy provision of exercise load according to various exercise states.

[0021] In other words, by simply varying the position of the coupling unit while it is worn on the body in the form of a band, various exercise loads can be provided, allowing the user to easily provide exercise loads without having to go through processes such as changing postures or wearing states.

[0022] In particular, when worn on the knee, the exercise intensity of the anterior or posterior thigh muscles can be increased by providing an exercise load to the anterior or posterior end.

[0023] At this time, the increase in the exercise intensity is implemented by selectively varying the extension length of the front wire section extending from the front end and the rear wire section extending from the rear end, making it easy to manufacture and improving user usability.

[0024] In addition, the front and rear fixing parts are provided so that their positions are fixed along the upper and lower edges of the band part, so that the extension lengths of the front and rear wire parts can be varied simply by varying the position of the coupling unit.

[0025] In addition, since the above-mentioned front and rear wire sections extend symmetrically to the inner and outer sides of the leg relative to the knee, the exercise load of the upper and lower muscles of the thigh can be increased or decreased in a balanced manner overall. [0029] Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the attached drawings.

[0030] FIG. 1 is a perspective view illustrating a state in which a wearable exercise aid according to one embodiment of the present invention is worn on the knee. FIG. 2 is a front view illustrating the combined state of the coupling unit of FIG. 1.

[0031] First, referring to FIG. 1, the wearable exercise aid (10, hereinafter referred to as the exercise aid) according to the present embodiment includes a band portion (100), a coupling unit (200), an upper front end fixing portion (300), an upper front end wire portion (301), a lower front end fixing portion (400), a lower front end wire portion (401), an upper rear end fixing portion (500), an upper rear end wire portion (501), a lower rear end fixing portion (600), and a lower rear end wire portion (601).

[0032] The above band portion (100) is worn on the user's body, and as illustrated, is worn on the knee of the user's body and can be fixed across the lower part of the thigh (11) and the upper part of the calf (12).

[0033] At this time, the band portion (100) has a predetermined elasticity and can be fixed in a form that presses against the user's body, and can be made of various materials including fabric.

[0034] Although the above coupling unit (200) is illustrated in FIG. 1 as being located at the front end (110) of the band portion (100), in addition to being located at the front end (110), it may also be located at the rear end (120) of the band portion (100).

[0035] That is, the coupling unit (200) is configured such that a pair of first and second coupling parts (210, 220) face each other and are connected or disconnected. Accordingly, the first and second coupling parts (210, 220) may be connected to each other while positioned at the front end (110) of the band part (100), or alternatively, the first and second coupling parts (210, 200) may be connected to each other while positioned at the rear end (120) of the band part (100).

[0036] At this time, as shown in FIG. 2, the first coupling part (210) includes a pair of protrusions (211, 212) and the second coupling part (220) includes a pair of grooves (221, 222), so that the first and second coupling parts (210, 220) can be fastened to each other in such a way that the protrusions (211, 212) are inserted and fixed into the grooves (221, 222).

[0037] In addition, for connecting or disconnecting the first and second connecting parts (210, 220), a certain button, etc., which is not shown, may be provided, so that the connecting or disconnecting of the first and second connecting parts (210, 220) can be performed through a simple action of a user pressing a button.

[0038] In particular, in the case of the first and second connecting parts (210, 220), it is confirmed through the drawing that they are fixed to each other at the front end (110), and similarly, they can be located at the rear end (120) and fixed to each other.

[0039] That is, as shown in FIG. 2, when fixed to each other at the front end (110), the first protrusion (211) can be inserted into the first groove (221) and fastened to each other, and although not shown, when fixed to each other at the rear end (120), the second protrusion (212) can be inserted into the second groove (222) and fastened to each other.

[0040] Therefore, without changing the structure or the fastening method, only the position of the coupling unit (200) is changed to the front section (110) and the rear section (120), and the coupling unit (200) can be selectively positioned in a fixed state at the front section (110) and the rear section (120).

[0041] Meanwhile, depending on the fastening position of the above-mentioned coupling unit (200), the configurations of the exercise assist device (10) described later may be extended, and this will be described later.

[0042] First, referring to FIG. 1, the extended state when the coupling unit (200) is located at the front section (110) will be described.

[0043] The upper front connecting portion (300) is fixed to the upper front of the band portion (100), that is, to the upper side facing the front portion (110), and includes a pair of first and second upper front fixing portions (310, 320). At this time, the first and second upper front fixing portions (310, 320) are spaced apart from each other, but the distance between them should be formed to be relatively small so that they are positioned on the front portion (110). In addition, the first and second upper front fixing portions (310, 320) are fixed in position on the band portion (100).

[0044] Furthermore, although the drawings illustrate that the first and second upper shear fixing parts (310, 320) are located at the upper end of the band part (100), it is sufficient if they are located at the upper part of the band part (100), and the location is not necessarily limited to the upper end.

[0045] The lower front shear fixing part (400) is fixed to the lower front of the band part (100), that is, to the lower side facing the front part (110), and includes a pair of first and second lower front shear fixing parts (410, 420). At this time, the spacing between the first and second lower front shear fixing parts (410, 420) may also be substantially the same as the spacing between the first and second upper front shear fixing parts (410, 420) described above. In addition, the first and second lower front shear fixing parts (410, 420) are positioned symmetrically in the vertical direction with respect to the first and second upper front shear fixing parts (310, 320) and the coupling unit (200), and their positions are fixed on the band part (100).

[0046] Furthermore, the first and second lower shear fixing parts (410, 420) are also sufficiently located at the lower part of the band part (100), and their location is not necessarily limited to the lower end.

[0047] The upper rear end fixing part (500) is fixed to the upper rear end of the band part (100), that is, to the upper side facing the rear end part (120), and includes a pair of first and second upper rear end fixing parts (510, 520). At this time, the spacing between the first and second upper rear end fixing parts (510, 520) may also be substantially the same as the spacing between the first and second upper front end fixing parts (410, 420) described above.

[0048] However, the first upper rear end fixing part (510) must be spaced relatively far apart, to the extent of the distance between the first upper front end fixing part (310), the front end part (110), and the rear end part (120).

[0049] That is, the first and second upper rear end fixing parts (510, 520) are positioned symmetrically to each other in the front and rear directions with respect to the first and second upper front end fixing parts (310, 320), and their positions are likewise fixed on the band part (100).

[0050] Furthermore, the first and second upper rear end fixing parts (510, 520) are also sufficiently positioned on the upper part of the band part (100), and their position is not necessarily limited to the upper end.

[0051] The lower rear end fixing part (600) is fixed to the lower rear end of the band part (100), that is, to the lower side facing the rear end part (120), and includes a pair of first and second lower rear end fixing parts (610, 620). At this time, the spacing between the first and second lower rear end fixing parts (610, 620) may also be substantially the same as the spacing between the first and second upper rear end fixing parts (510, 520) described above.

[0052] In addition, the first and second lower rear end fixing parts (610, 620) are positioned symmetrically to each other in the front and rear directions with respect to the first and second lower front end fixing parts (410, 420), and their positions are likewise fixed on the band part (100).

[0053] Furthermore, the first and second lower rear end fixing parts (610, 620) are also sufficiently located at the lower part of the band part (100), and their location is not necessarily limited to the lower end.

[0054] The upper shear wire section (301) extends between the coupling unit (200) and the upper shear fixing section (300). That is, the upper shear wire section (301) includes a first upper shear wire (350) extending between the first coupling section (210) and the first upper shear fixing section (310), and a second upper shear wire (360) extending between the second coupling section (220) and the second upper shear fixing section (320).

[0055] At this time, the extension length of the first and second upper shear wires (350, 360) varies according to the position of the coupling unit (200), and in the case of FIG. 1, since the first and second coupling parts (210, 220) are located at the shear part (110), the first and second upper shear wires (350, 360) are extended to a minimum length.

[0056] In contrast, if the first and second connecting parts (210, 220) are located at the rear end (120), the first and second upper front wires (350, 360) can be extended to a maximum length.

[0057] In addition, the first and second upper shear wires (350, 360) are elastic wires having a predetermined elastic force, and accordingly, a predetermined load is applied to the band portion (100), and the load applied in this way is applied to the thigh portion (11).

[0058] The first and second upper shear wires (350, 360) extend symmetrically from the inner and outer sides of the knee, thereby allowing the same level of load to be applied to the inner and outer sides of the user's thigh (11).

[0059] The lower shear wire section (401) extends between the coupling unit (200) and the lower shear fixing section (400). That is, the upper shear wire section (401) includes a first lower shear wire (450) extending between the first coupling section (210) and the first lower shear fixing section (410), and a second lower shear wire (460) extending between the second coupling section (220) and the second lower shear fixing section (420).

[0060] At this time, the extension length of the first and second lower shear wires (450, 460) varies according to the position of the coupling unit (200), and in the case of FIG. 1, since the first and second coupling parts (210, 220) are located at the shear part (110), the first and second lower shear wires (450, 460) are also extended to a minimum length.

[0061] In contrast, if the first and second connecting parts (210, 220) are located at the rear end (120), the first and second lower front wires (450, 460) can be extended to a maximum length.

[0062] In addition, the first and second lower shear wires (450, 460) are elastic wires having a predetermined elastic force, and accordingly, a predetermined load is applied to the band portion (100), and the load applied in this way is applied to the calf portion (12).

[0063] The first and second lower shear wires (450, 460) extend symmetrically from the inner and outer sides of the knee, thereby allowing the same level of load to be applied to the inner and outer sides of the user's calf (12).

[0064] The upper rear wire section (501) extends between the coupling unit (200) and the upper rear fixing section (500). That is, the upper rear wire section (501) includes a first upper rear wire (550) extending between the first coupling section (210) and the first upper rear fixing section (510), and a second upper rear wire (560) extending between the second coupling section (220) and the second upper rear fixing section (520).

[0065] At this time, the extension length of the first and second upper rear wires (550, 560) varies according to the position of the coupling unit (200), and in the case of FIG. 1, since the first and second coupling parts (210, 220) are located at the front part (110), the first and second upper rear wires (550, 560) are extended to their maximum length.

[0066] In contrast, if the first and second connecting parts (210, 220) are located at the rear end (120), the first and second upper rear end wires (550, 560) can be extended to a minimum length.

[0067] In addition, the first and second upper rear wires (550, 560) are elastic wires having a predetermined elastic force, and accordingly, a predetermined load is applied to the band portion (100), and the load applied in this way is applied to the thigh portion (11).

[0068] The first and second upper rear wires (550, 560) extend symmetrically from the inner and outer sides of the knee, thereby allowing the same level of load to be applied to the inner and outer sides of the user's thigh (12).

[0069] The lower rear wire section (601) extends between the coupling unit (200) and the lower rear fixing section (600). That is, the lower rear wire section (601) includes a first lower rear wire (650) extending between the first coupling section (210) and the first lower rear fixing section (610), and a second lower rear wire (660) extending between the second coupling section (220) and the second lower rear fixing section (620).

[0070] At this time, the extension length of the first and second lower rear wires (650, 660) varies according to the position of the coupling unit (200), and in the case of FIG. 1, since the first and second coupling parts (210, 220) are located at the front part (110), the first and second lower rear wires (650, 660) are extended to their maximum length.

[0071] In contrast, if the first and second connecting parts (210, 220) are located at the rear end (120), the first and second lower rear end wires (650, 660) can be extended to a minimum length.

[0072] In addition, the first and second lower rear wires (650, 660) are elastic wires having a predetermined elastic force, and accordingly, a predetermined load is applied to the band portion (100), and the load applied in this way is applied to the calf portion (12).

[0073] The first and second lower rear wires (650, 660) extend symmetrically from the inner and outer sides of the knee, thereby allowing the same level of load to be applied to the inner and outer sides of the user's calf (12).

[0074] FIGS. 3A and 3B are side views illustrating different combined states of the exercise aid of FIG. 1. FIG. 4A is a schematic diagram of different states of the exercise aid of FIGS. 3A and 3B, and FIG. 4B is a graph illustrating the variable state of the exercise load in the state of FIG. 4A. FIGS. 5A and 5B are images to explain the exercise effects according to different states of the exercise aid of FIGS. 3A and 3B.

[0075] First, in FIGS. 3a and 3b, only the inner side of the knee, the thigh (11) and the calf (12) of the left leg are shown with respect to the exercise aid (10) of FIG. 1.

[0076] That is, in the case of the exercise aid (10) of FIG. 1, the upper and lower fixing parts (300, 400, 500, 600) and the upper and lower wire parts (301, 401, 501, 601) are formed symmetrically to each other on the inner and outer sides of the knee and are positioned in substantially symmetrical positions, so it is sufficient to explain the variable position state of the exercise aid (10) on the inner side of the thigh (11) and calf (12).

[0077] First, FIG. 3a illustrates a state in which the coupling unit (200) is positioned at the front section (110), as in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2.

[0078] Accordingly, with reference to FIG. 3a, the extension length of the first upper shear wire (350) extending between the first upper shear fixing part (310, referred to as the first position (A) for convenience of explanation) and the first connecting part (210), and the first lower shear wire (450) extending between the first lower shear fixing part (410, referred to as the second position (B) for convenience of explanation) and the first connecting part (210) is at a minimum. Additionally, the extension length of the first upper rear end wire (550) extending between the first upper rear end fixing part (510, referred to as the third position (C) for convenience of explanation) and the first coupling part (210), and the first lower rear end wire (650) extending between the first lower rear end fixing part (610, referred to as the fourth position (D) for convenience of explanation) and the first coupling part (210) is at its maximum.

[0079] In the extended state as described above, with reference to FIG. 4a and FIG. 4b, the position of the coupling unit (200) is located at the shear position (X, l2), so that the elastic force increases relatively between the first and second positions (AB) and decreases relatively between the third and fourth positions (CD).

[0080] Accordingly, the exercise aid (10) increases the exercise load on the lower muscles of the user's thigh (11), such as the hamstring (14), and the lower muscles of the user's calf (12), such as the calf muscle (15), as shown in FIG. 5a. Therefore, when the user exercises with the coupling unit (200) attached to the front part (110) as in FIG. 3a, the exercise load on the lower muscles of the user's hamstring (14) and calf (15) increases, so that the effect can be increased, for example, when exercising from a straight knee to a bent knee.

[0081] In contrast, referring to FIG. 3b, when the coupling unit (200) is fastened at the rear end (120), the extension length of the first upper front wire (350) extending between the first upper front fixing part (310, referred to as the first position (A)) and the first coupling part (210), and the first lower front wire (450) extending between the first lower front fixing part (410, referred to as the second position (B)) and the first coupling part (210) is at its maximum. Additionally, the extension length of the first upper rear end wire (550) extending between the first upper rear end fixing part (510, referred to as the third position (C)) and the first coupling part (210), and the first lower rear end wire (650) extending between the first lower rear end fixing part (610, referred to as the fourth position (D)) and the first coupling part (210) is in a minimum state.

[0082] In the extended state as described above, with reference to FIG. 4a and FIG. 4b, the position of the coupling unit (200) moves to the rear position (X´, l1), and the elastic force is reduced between the first and second positions (AB) relatively, and the elastic force is increased between the third and fourth positions (CD) relatively.

[0083] Accordingly, the exercise aid (10) increases the exercise load on the quadriceps femoris (13), which is the upper muscle of the user's thigh (11), as shown in FIG. 5b.

[0084] Accordingly, when the user exercises with the coupling unit (200) coupled to the rear end (120) as shown in FIG. 3b, the exercise load of the quadriceps femoris (13) increases, and for example, when exercising from a bent knee position to a straightened knee position, the effect can be increased.

[0085] As described above, by selectively positioning the coupling unit (200) at the front end (110) or rear end (120) of the band part (100), the position of the exercise load applied to the user can be varied, and thus, even if different exercises are performed, the exercise load can be increased for each type of exercise, thereby further enhancing the effect of the exercise.

[0086] Furthermore, although the above description describes the case where the exercise aid (10) is worn on the user's knee as an example, a similar effect can be achieved even when worn on the user's elbow with the same structure.

[0087] In other words, by varying the exercise load differently when the user exercises from a bent elbow position to an extended elbow position and from an extended elbow position to a bent elbow position, it is possible to vary the exercise load according to each exercise, thereby further enhancing the exercise effect on specific muscles.

[0088] FIG. 6 is a side view illustrating a state in which a wearable exercise aid according to another embodiment of the present invention is worn on the knee.

[0089] The wearable exercise aid (20) according to the present embodiment is substantially the same as the exercise aid (10) described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 5b, except for additional wire parts (351, 451, 551, 651), so the same reference numbers are used for the same components and redundant descriptions are omitted.

[0090] Referring to FIG. 6, in the exercise aid (20) according to the present embodiment, the first upper shear wire (350) fixed to the first upper shear fixing part (310) is provided with a first upper shear additional wire (351), so that the length of the first upper shear wire (350) can be varied.

[0091] The first upper shear wire (350) extending between the first upper shear fixing part (310) and the first coupling part (210) can have its length varied by the first upper shear fixing part (310), and the first upper shear additional wire (351) can be further extended. That is, the first upper shear fixing part (310) can adjust the length of the first upper shear wire (350), and thereby can adjust the strength of the tension applied to the band part (100) by the first upper shear wire (350). Thus, the magnitude of the load applied to the user can be increased.

[0092] Likewise, the first lower shear wire (450) extending between the first lower shear fixing part (410) and the first coupling part (210) can have its length varied by the first lower shear fixing part (410), so that the spare portion (length) of the first upper shear additional wire (451) can be varied. Through this, the strength of the tension applied to the band part (100) by the first lower shear wire (450) can be adjusted, thereby increasing the magnitude of the load applied to the user.

[0093] Likewise, the length of the first upper rear end wire (550) can also be varied through the first upper rear end fixing part (510), so that the spare portion (length) of the first upper rear end additional wire (551) can be varied. Additionally, the length of the first lower rear end wire (650) can also be varied through the first lower rear end fixing part (610), so that the spare portion (length) of the first lower rear end additional wire (651) can be varied.

[0094] As described above, the lengths of the wires (350, 360, 450, 460, 550, 560, 650, 660) extending on the band portion (100) can be varied, and thereby the tension of the wires can be controlled so that the magnitude of the exercise load applied to the user through the band portion (100) can be controlled.

[0095] According to the embodiments of the present invention as described above, as the coupling position of the coupling unit varies while the device is worn on the user's body, a load can be provided to different muscles of the user, thereby allowing for the selective and easy provision of exercise loads according to various exercise states.

[0096] In other words, by simply varying the position of the coupling unit while it is worn on the body in the form of a band, various exercise loads can be provided, allowing the user to easily provide exercise loads without having to go through processes such as changing postures or wearing states.

[0097] In particular, when worn on the knee, the exercise intensity of the anterior or posterior thigh muscles can be increased by providing an exercise load to the anterior or posterior end.

[0098] At this time, the increase in the exercise intensity is implemented by selectively varying the extension length of the front wire section extending from the front end and the rear wire section extending from the rear end, making it easy to manufacture and improving user usability.

[0099] In addition, the front and rear fixing parts are provided so that their positions are fixed along the upper and lower edges of the band part, so that the extension lengths of the front and rear wire parts can be varied simply by varying the position of the coupling unit.

[0100] In addition, since the above-mentioned front and rear wire sections extend symmetrically to the inner and outer sides of the leg relative to the knee, the exercise load of the upper and lower muscles of the thigh can be increased or decreased in a balanced manner overall.

[0101] Although the present invention has been described above with reference to preferred embodiments, those skilled in the art will understand that various modifications and changes can be made to the invention without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following claims.
