Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a string lighting device, and more specifically, to a string lighting device having a structure in which a PCB is configured to enable double-sided light emission, light emission is maintained even when the power is cut off through a phosphorescent function, and a plurality of lighting units can be interconnected. Background Technology

[0002] Generally, string lighting devices are used for various purposes such as interior and exterior decoration of buildings, landscape lighting, and safety guidance lighting. With the advancement of LED technology, LED-based string lighting with low power consumption and a long lifespan is becoming widely available.

[0003] Conventional string lighting devices are generally structured to emit light in only one direction or from a single side, which presents problems such as limited lighting efficiency depending on the installation direction or the need to install multiple additional lights to ensure sufficient visibility.

[0004] In addition, since they often have a circular or simple cross-sectional structure, there are limitations in implementing various optical effects, such as focused lighting in a specific direction or double-sided illumination.

[0005] Meanwhile, in emergency situations such as power outages or fires, lighting may be cut off, making it difficult to provide visual information to guide evacuation routes. Although phosphorescent or fluorescent functions are sometimes applied to compensate for this, they are not structurally integrated with the lighting unit, which limits their durability and sustainability.

[0006] In addition, conventional string lighting devices often have limited connection structures between individual lighting units or are cumbersome to install, making it inconvenient to flexibly adjust or extend the length according to the installation environment.

[0007] Furthermore, separate signs or guidance lights are required to intuitively guide evacuation directions in emergency situations, which acts as a factor that increases installation space and costs.

[0008] Therefore, there is a need for a new type of string lighting device that improves visibility through double-sided illumination, allows for continuous illumination for a certain period even when the power is cut off, features a connection structure that is easy to install and expand, and integrates a display function capable of intuitively guiding evacuation directions in emergencies. [0010] Accordingly, the objective of the present invention is to provide a string lighting device capable of maintaining light emission for a certain period of time even when the power is cut off by forming LED light-emitting surfaces on both sides by folding a single PCB and integrally housing the PCB and LEDs by coating or extruding them with PVC, and providing phosphorescent and fluorescent materials on both sides of the light-emitting part.

[0011] In addition, the objective of the present invention is to provide a string lighting device configured to allow a plurality of light-emitting parts to be interconnected through a female plug connector, and to provide a detachably equipped indicator for guiding the evacuation direction in case of emergency.

[0012] Meanwhile, the objectives of the present invention are not limited to those mentioned above, and other unmentioned objectives will be clearly understood by those skilled in the art from the description below. means of solving the problem

[0013] According to the present invention, a string lighting device is provided comprising: a light-emitting part configured to emit light from both sides of an LED on a PCB, the outer side of which is covered with a PVC covering material and a phosphorescent body provided on both inner sides of the PVC covering material to emit residual light even when the power is cut off; a plug connector provided at one end of the light-emitting part and electrically connected to an external power source or a socket connector of a first string lighting device; and a socket connector provided at the other end of the light-emitting part and electrically connected to a plug connector of a second string lighting device.

[0014] Here, it is preferable that the string lighting device further includes a marker detachably coupled to the light-emitting part to guide the evacuation direction in the event of an emergency.

[0015] In addition, the phosphorescent body is formed from a phosphorescent composition containing an alkaline aluminate-based phosphorescent pigment, and the phosphorescent composition is composed of a plastic masterbatch in which the phosphorescent pigment is mixed with a polymer resin, and it is preferable that the phosphorescent pigment content in the phosphorescent composition is 10% to 30% by weight.

[0016] In addition, it is preferable that the plug connector comprises a plug body; a plug covering material support member corresponding to one end of the plug body, into which one end of the PVC covering material of the light-emitting part is inserted and supported; a plug brace located inside the plug body and having a structure connected to the power terminal of the PCB, which is inserted into an external power source or the outlet connector of the first string lighting device to supply operating power to the PCB; and an outlet support member corresponding to the other end of the plug body, into which the outlet connector of the first string lighting device is inserted and which engages with a screw portion formed on the outer surface, thereby allowing the outlet connector of the first string lighting device to be coupled.

[0017] In addition, it is preferable that the outlet connector comprises an outlet body; an outlet covering material support member corresponding to one end of the outlet body, into which the other end of the PVC covering material of the light-emitting part is inserted and supported; an outlet brace located inside the outlet body and electrically connected to the power terminal of the PCB to distribute and supply operating power from the PCB to the plug connector of the second string lighting device; a plug connector corresponding to the other end of the outlet body and inserted into the plug connector of the second string lighting device, thereby allowing the plug brace of the second string lighting device and the outlet brace to be electrically conductive through an insertion hole into which the plug brace of the plug connector is inserted; and a connection cap that is screw-coupled to the screw portion of the outlet support member when the plug connector is inserted into the plug connector of the second string lighting device while in a state of being caught on the outer surface of the plug connector.

[0018] In addition, it is preferable that the outlet connector further includes an end cap that is coupled to the end into which the plug connector is inserted and screw-coupled to the connection cap through a threaded portion formed on the outer surface to cover and finish the plug connector from the outside.

[0019] In addition, the indicator preferably includes an indicator housing that is detachably attached to a part of the PVC covering of the light-emitting part, having a top body and a bottom body with a rotational and connecting structure and a seating line corresponding to the shape of the PVC covering of the light-emitting part, and an arrow member that is coated or attached to the outer surface of the top body and bottom body of the indicator housing to guide the evacuation direction in the event of an emergency. Effects of the invention

[0020] Accordingly, according to the present invention, by bending a single PCB to form LED light-emitting surfaces on both sides, the light-emitting area relative to the same lighting length can be increased to improve visibility and the variation in lighting efficiency according to the installation direction can be minimized.

[0021] In addition, by integrally housing the PCB and LED through PVC coating or extrusion, durability and water resistance protected from the external environment can be improved, and since the cross-section is configured to have a rectangular shape, wide light emission in the vertical direction can be achieved while structural stability in the lateral direction can be secured.

[0022] In addition, by equipping phosphorescent and fluorescent materials on both sides of the light-emitting part, residual light is maintained for a certain period of time even in emergency situations where the power supply is cut off, thereby ensuring visibility of the evacuation route.

[0023] In addition, by configuring multiple light-emitting units to be interconnected via female plug connectors, the length can be easily extended or adjusted according to the installation environment, thereby improving construction convenience.

[0024] Furthermore, since a display indicating the evacuation direction is detachably provided on the light-emitting part, intuitive guidance on the direction of movement is possible without a separate guidance device in emergency situations such as fire, thereby improving safety.

[0025] Meanwhile, the effects of the present invention are not limited to those mentioned above, and other unmentioned effects will be clearly understood by those skilled in the art from the description in the claims. Brief explanation of the drawing

[0026] FIGS. 1 and FIGS. 2 are front and rear perspective views showing a string lighting device according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention; FIG. 3 is an exploded perspective view showing the strip lighting device of FIG. 1; FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view showing the configuration of a light-emitting part in the strip lighting device of FIG. 1; and Figure 5 is a drawing showing a combination of multiple string lighting devices. Specific details for implementing the invention

[0027] Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.

[0028] As illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 5, a string lighting device (100) according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises: a light-emitting part (110) configured such that an LED (112) on a PCB (111) can emit light on both sides and is covered with a PVC covering material (113) on the outside and has a phosphorescent body (114) provided on both inner sides of the PVC covering material (113) to emit residual light even when the power is cut off; a plug connector (120) provided at one end of the light-emitting part (110) and electrically connected to an external power source or a socket connector (130-1) of a first string lighting device (100-1); and a socket connector (130) provided at the other end of the light-emitting part (110) and electrically connected to a plug connector (120-1) of a second string lighting device (100-2).

[0029] Here, the string lighting device (100) further includes a display body (140), etc., which is detachably coupled to the light-emitting part (110) and guides the evacuation direction in the event of an emergency.

[0030] The light-emitting part (110) is a lighting part formed by extending along the length direction, and is configured such that a PCB (111) having a soft material is bent along the length direction and LEDs (112) are mounted on both sides facing each other.

[0031] Here, the PCB (111) is formed as a flexible substrate so as to be easily folded, and is configured to emit light in both upward and downward directions by LEDs (112) placed on both sides in a folded state.

[0032] In addition, on the outer side of the PCB (111) and LED (112), a PVC composition, which is the material of the PVC coating material (113), and a phosphorescent composition, which is the material of the phosphorescent body (114), are simultaneously extruded by a separate extrusion method and integrally molded so as to protect the internal components from the external environment and simultaneously perform waterproofing and insulation functions.

[0033] At this time, the PVC covering material (113) is formed so that its cross-section has a roughly rectangular shape, and a phosphorescent body (114) is configured to be embedded together in the side area of the light-emitting part (110), that is, at a position corresponding to both sides of the PCB (111).

[0034] The phosphorescent body (114) accumulates light energy when the LED (112) emits light and then emits residual light for a certain period of time when the power is cut off, thereby performing the function of making the location and shape of the light-emitting part (110) identifiable even in emergency situations such as a power outage or fire.

[0035] Additionally, the phosphorescent body (114) may be formed from a phosphorescent composition comprising an alkaline aluminate-based phosphorescent material, preferably a phosphorescent pigment of the SrAl₂O₄:Eu,Dy series.

[0036] Here, the phosphorescent composition is configured in the form of a plastic masterbatch in which a phosphorescent pigment is mixed with a polymer resin, thereby ensuring compatibility with the PVC composition during the mold extrusion process and enabling uniform dispersion.

[0037] In particular, it is preferable that the phosphorescent pigment content in the phosphorescent composition be set to a range of about 10% to 30% by weight, which is intended to ensure a balance between the luminescence duration and mechanical properties so as to stably achieve excellent afterglow characteristics even when the power is turned off.

[0038] Specifically, when the content of the phosphorescent pigment is less than 10 weight%, the absolute amount of light energy accumulated by the light emission of the LED is insufficient, so there is a problem in that the brightness and duration of the afterglow are significantly reduced when the power is cut off, and consequently, there is a problem in that visibility is not sufficiently ensured in emergency situations.

[0039] On the other hand, if the content of phosphorescent pigment exceeds 30 weight%, the dispersibility with the polymer resin is reduced due to the excessive content of the inorganic phosphorescent pigment, which has a relatively high specific gravity, and aggregation or uneven distribution of the pigment may occur during extrusion molding, which may result in non-uniformity in the appearance of the product and variations in optical properties. In addition, the mechanical strength and flexibility are reduced due to the decrease in the content of the matrix resin, which reduces the durability of the light-emitting part and may cause cracking when bent or used repeatedly.

[0040] In addition, the inclusion of excessive phosphorescent pigments can cause an increase in viscosity during the extrusion process, leading to reduced moldability and decreased productivity.

[0041] Therefore, by setting the content of phosphorescent pigment to 10% by weight or more and 30% by weight or less, a balance between afterglow characteristics, mechanical properties, and moldability can be secured, and it is desirable to maintain stable quality even during long-term use.

[0042] In addition, the phosphorescent composition is configured to include a phosphorescent pigment with a relatively high specific gravity, so that it is stably positioned in the side area of the light-emitting part (110) even during extrusion molding, and has the effect of suppressing sedimentation or localization even during long-term use.

[0043] In addition, the phosphorescent composition is composed of eco-friendly materials that exclude harmful heavy metals to satisfy RoHS, REACH, and CalProp65 standards, thereby ensuring safety for the human body and the environment while also being easy to apply to buildings and public facilities.

[0044] Meanwhile, the light-emitting part (110) can be configured to be cut at predetermined intervals along the length direction, and thus has the advantage of being easily cut and installed to a desired length to suit the usage environment.

[0045] Accordingly, according to the light-emitting unit (110), LEDs (112) are arranged on both sides by the bending structure of the PCB (111), so that light can be emitted in both upward and downward directions, thereby improving visibility relative to the same length and minimizing the variation in lighting efficiency according to the installation direction.

[0046] In addition, as the PVC covering material (113) is integrally molded by a different extrusion method, the internal components can be reliably protected from the external environment, thereby improving waterproofness and durability, and as the cross-section is formed in a rectangular shape, structural stability and ease of installation can be secured.

[0047] In addition, by integrally providing a phosphorescent body (114) on the side of the light-emitting part (110), the light energy accumulated during the light-emitting of the LED (112) can be used to emit residual light for a certain period of time even when the power is cut off, and excellent visibility can be ensured even in emergency situations such as a power outage or fire.

[0048] In addition, since the phosphorescent composition is composed of a plastic masterbatch and compatibility with the PVC composition is ensured, uniform dispersion is possible during extrusion molding, and the settling or uneven distribution of the phosphorescent pigment is suppressed even during long-term use, thereby maintaining stable quality.

[0049] Furthermore, the light-emitting part (110) is configured to be cut along the length direction, so that it can be easily processed and constructed to a desired length depending on the installation environment, thereby improving applicability.

[0050] The plug connector (120) is a means for being electrically connected to an external power source or a socket connector (130-1) of a first string lighting device (100-1) and is provided at one end of the light-emitting part (110), and comprises a plug body (121) having a tubular structure with both ends open, a plug covering material support member (122) corresponding to one end of the plug body (121) and into which one end of the PVC covering material (113) of the light-emitting part (110) is inserted and supported, a plug covering material support member (122) located inside the plug body (121) and having a structure connected to the power terminal of the PCB (111) and inserted into an external power source or a socket connector (130-1) of the first string lighting device (100-1) to supply operating power to the PCB (111), and a plug brace (123) corresponding to the other end of the plug body (121) into which the socket connector (130-1) of the first string lighting device (100-1) is inserted. It includes a socket support (125), etc., which allows the socket connector (130-1) of the first string lighting device (100-1) to be coupled through a connecting cap (136) of the socket connector (130-1) of the first string lighting device (100-1) that engages with a screw portion (124) formed on the outer surface.

[0051] The plug body (121) is formed as a tubular structure with both ends open, accommodates a gasket or the like to position the plug brace (123) inside, and serves as a housing that protects internal electrical components from external shocks.

[0052] The plug covering material support (122) is formed open at one end of the plug body (121) so that the end of the PVC covering material (113) of the light-emitting part (110) is inserted and supported, thereby improving the bonding strength between the light-emitting part (110) and the plug connector (120) and preventing detachment due to external force, while simultaneously ensuring airtightness at the connection point to suppress moisture inflow.

[0053] The plug brace (123) is formed of a metal material with excellent conductivity and is configured in the plug body (121) through a gasket, etc., and is inserted and coupled to an external power source or the outlet connector (130-1) of the first string lighting device (100-1) so that power is stably transmitted to the PCB (111).

[0054] The outlet support (125) is formed open at the other end of the plug body (121) to provide a space into which the outlet connector (130-1) of the other light-emitting part, i.e., the first string light device (100-1), is inserted. By forming a structure that firmly secures the outlet connector (130-1) of the first string light device (100-1) as the connection cap (136) is screw-coupled to the screw part (124), it prevents detachment in the coupled state and allows a stable connection state to be maintained even against external shocks or vibrations.

[0055] Accordingly, according to the plug connector (120), the connection force with the light-emitting part (110) is improved by the coupling structure between the plug body (121) and the outlet connector (130-1) of the other light-emitting part, so that detachment due to external force can be prevented, and the sealing of the connection part is ensured so that the inflow of external moisture can be effectively blocked.

[0056] In addition, power can be stably supplied to the power terminal of the PCB (111) by means of an electrical connection structure consisting of a plug brace (123), etc., thereby preventing contact failure and maintaining a reliable electrical connection state even during long-term use.

[0057] In addition, the outlet connector (130-1) of the first string lighting device (100-1) can be securely fastened by the screw coupling structure of the outlet support (125) and the connection cap (136), thereby preventing detachment when connecting multiple light-emitting parts and improving mechanical coupling stability.

[0058] Furthermore, by integrating electrical connection, mechanical coupling, and waterproofing functions through the structure described above, it is possible to ensure stable power supply and excellent durability even in various installation environments.

[0059] The outlet connector (130) is a means provided at the other end of the light-emitting part (110) and electrically connected to the plug connector (120-1) of the second string lighting device (100-2), comprising: an outlet body (131) having a tubular structure with one end open; an outlet covering material support member (132) corresponding to one end of the outlet body (131) and into which the other end of the PVC covering material (113) of the light-emitting part (110) is inserted and supported; an outlet brace (133) located inside the outlet body (131) and electrically connected to the power terminal of the PCB (111) so that operating power from the PCB (111) is distributed and supplied to the plug connector (120-1) of the second string lighting device (100-2); and, at this time, is inserted into the plug connector (120-1) of the second string lighting device (100-2) corresponding to the other end of the outlet body (131). It includes a plug connector (135) that allows the plug brace (123) of the second string lighting device (100-2) and the outlet brace (133) to be electrically connected through an insertion hole (134) into which the plug brace (123) of the plug connector (120-1) is inserted, and a connecting cap (136) that is screw-coupled to the screw portion (124) of the outlet support (125) when the plug connector (135) is inserted into the plug connector (120-1) of the second string lighting device (100-2) while in a state of being caught on the outer surface of the plug connector (135).

[0060] The outlet body (131) is formed as a tubular structure with one end open, and accommodates the outlet brass (133) and the like inside, and serves as a housing that protects internal electrical components from external shocks.

[0061] The outlet covering material support (132) is formed open at one end of the outlet body (131) and configured so that the other end of the PVC covering material (113) of the light-emitting part (110) is inserted and supported, thereby improving the bonding strength between the light-emitting part (110) and the outlet connector (130) and preventing detachment due to external force, while simultaneously ensuring airtightness of the connection part to suppress the inflow of external moisture.

[0062] The outlet brace (133) is electrically connected to the power terminal of the PCB (111) and forms a conductive path that distributes and supplies power from the light-emitting part (110) to another light-emitting part, namely the plug connector (120-1) of the second string lighting device (100-2), and is configured to ensure electrical connection reliability.

[0063] The plug connector (135) is a connecting part formed closed at the other end of the outlet body (131) and inserted into the plug connector (120-1) of the second string lighting device (100-2), and is configured so that when the plug brace (123) of the plug connector (120-1) is inserted through the insertion hole (134), it becomes electrically connected to the outlet brace (133) and power is continuously transmitted.

[0064] The connecting cap (136) is configured to be caught on the outer surface of the plug connector (135) and is screwed into the screw portion (124) of the outlet support (125) when the plug connector (135) is inserted into the plug connector (120-1) of the second string lighting device (100-2), thereby maintaining a secure connection with the plug connector (120-1) and preventing detachment due to external impact or vibration.

[0065] Accordingly, according to the outlet connector (130), the electrical connection between the light-emitting part (110) and other light-emitting parts can be stably established, ensuring the continuity of power supply, and the waterproof performance can be improved by blocking the inflow of external moisture through the sealed structure of the connection part.

[0066] In addition, the connection force with the plug connector (120-1) of another light-emitting part is improved by the combined structure of the plug connector (135) and the connection cap (136), so that even when multiple light-emitting parts are connected, detachment is prevented and mechanical connection stability can be ensured.

[0067] Furthermore, by integrally implementing the electrical connection structure, mechanical coupling structure, and sealing structure as described above, it is possible to ensure stable power distribution and excellent durability even in various installation environments.

[0068] Meanwhile, the outlet connector (130) may further include an end cap (137) that is coupled to the end into which the plug connector (135) is inserted and is screw-coupled to the connection cap (136) through a screw portion formed on the outer surface to cover the plug connector (135) from the outside.

[0069] Here, the end cap (137) performs the function of sealing the end of the outlet connector (130) that is not used for connecting multiple light-emitting parts to protect the internal electrical components and prevent the ingress of external moisture or foreign substances, and also serves to improve the appearance quality by neatly finishing the end of the string lighting device (100).

[0070] In addition, the plug connector (135) can be protected from impacts that may occur during transportation or installation by the combined structure of the end cap (137), thereby improving the durability of the entire device.

[0071] Meanwhile, the indicator (140) is detachably coupled to the light-emitting part (110) of the string lighting device (100) and serves as a means to guide the evacuation direction in the event of an emergency. It includes a top body (141) and a bottom body (142) having a rotating and connecting structure, a mounting line corresponding to the shape of the PVC covering material (113) of the light-emitting part (110) is formed, and the indicator housing (143) is detachably attached to a part of the PVC covering material (113) of the light-emitting part (110), and an arrow member (144) is formed by coating or attaching to the outer surface of the top body (141) and bottom body (142) of the indicator housing (143) to guide the evacuation direction in the event of an emergency.

[0072] The display housing (143) is configured such that the top body (141) and the bottom body (142) are configured in a rotating and connecting structure, so that they can be easily connected in a manner that wraps around the PVC covering material (113) of the light-emitting part (110) and can be detached without the need for a separate tool.

[0073] In addition, an insertion portion and an insertion hole corresponding to the cross-sectional shape of the light-emitting portion (110) are formed on the inner side of the display housing (143) so that the gap is minimized when combined, thereby allowing the fixed state to be maintained stably even against external shocks or vibrations.

[0074] The arrow member (144) is formed to have a predetermined directionality corresponding to the length direction or installation direction of the light-emitting part (110), and may be formed of a fluorescent or phosphorescent material as needed to maintain visibility even when the power is cut off.

[0075] Accordingly, the indicator (140) can be used as a decoration or guide sign in normal times, and can intuitively guide the evacuation direction in emergency situations such as power outages or fires, thereby improving user safety.

[0076] Hereinafter, the operation of the string lighting device (100) according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described.

[0077] First, in order for the string lighting device (100) according to the present invention to be used independently, a plug connector (120) is connected to an external power outlet, etc., and when external power is applied, the power supplied through the plug connector (120) is transmitted to the power terminal of the PCB (111), and accordingly, the LED (112) mounted on the PCB (111) is lit, and the light-emitting part (110) emits light.

[0078] At this time, since LEDs (112) are arranged on both sides of the PCB (111) through a folding structure, the light-emitting part (110) emits light uniformly in both upward and downward directions, so excellent visibility can be secured regardless of the installation direction.

[0079] Additionally, light generated by the light emission of the LED (112) is absorbed and accumulated by a phosphorescent body (114) provided on the side of the light-emitting part (110), and when the power is cut off, the light energy accumulated in the phosphorescent body (114) is released, thereby maintaining afterglow for a certain period of time.

[0080] Accordingly, the location of the light-emitting part (110) can be identified even in emergency situations such as a power outage or fire, thereby enabling safe evacuation.

[0081] Meanwhile, in the string lighting device (100) according to the present invention, the plug connector (120) and the outlet connector (130) configured at both ends of the light-emitting part (110) can be connected to each other adjacently, and power is continuously transmitted through the electrical conduction of the plug brace (123) and the outlet brace (133) inside each connector so that a plurality of light-emitting parts (110) operate as a single lighting line.

[0082] At this time, since the sealing of the joint area is ensured by the connector's screw joint structure and gasket, the ingress of external moisture or foreign substances is prevented, and stable power supply is possible even in various environments.

[0083] Additionally, the end of the unused outlet connector (130) is closed by an end cap (137) to protect the internal components, tidy up the exterior, and protect the connector from external impact.

[0084] In addition, a display body (140) may be optionally attached to the outer side of the light-emitting part (110), and through the arrow member (144) of the display body (140), it performs a direction guidance or decorative function in normal times, and in an emergency situation, it can induce rapid movement by intuitively displaying the evacuation direction.

[0085] Accordingly, as described above, the light-emitting part (110) is configured to enable double-sided light emission, thereby ensuring excellent visibility relative to the same length, and the phosphorescent body (114) maintains residual light even when the power is cut off, enabling continuous visual information to be provided even in emergency situations.

[0086] In addition, multiple light-emitting parts (110) can be easily extended and expanded through a modular connection structure via a plug connector (120) and a socket connector (130), and electrical connection, mechanical coupling, and waterproofing functions are implemented as a single unit, thereby enabling stable use in various installation environments.

[0087] In addition, the length can be easily adjusted to suit the installation conditions due to the cutable structure of the light-emitting part (110), and construction convenience is improved. Furthermore, the safety can be further enhanced by providing intuitive evacuation direction guidance through the indicator (140) in case of an emergency.

[0088] Although specific embodiments have been described in the above-described invention, various modifications may be made without departing from the scope of the invention.
