Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a non-metallic flight-type sludge collector equipped with a flight having buoyancy, and more specifically, to a non-metallic flight-type sludge collector equipped with a flight having buoyancy that can operate smoothly even under high-load sludge conditions by improving the rotary drive method and mechanical structure, minimize wear on major components, and improve energy efficiency. Background Technology
[0002] Generally, water purification plants, sewage treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, etc., are equipped with sludge collectors that scrape and collect sludge settled at the bottom of the sedimentation tank and discharge it to the outside, and remove scum from the top with a skimmer.
[0003] A conventional non-metallic flight-type sludge collector comprises a plurality of shafts installed to be arranged in a spaced interval designed for a sedimentation tank, a plurality of sprockets installed on the shafts, a chain connected to the sprockets and installed to have an endless track shape and moved by the rotation of the sprockets, and a plurality of flights installed to be fixed to the chain to scrape and transport the sludge settled in the sedimentation tank.
[0004] In addition, the non-metallic chain-flight type sludge collector is a device that operates continuously 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in the sedimentation tank, and is operated for a long time.
[0005] In addition, as the viscosity of solids increases and the amount of chemicals used increases due to changes in the surrounding environment, the sludge load increases, and continuous wear occurs due to friction in the rotating parts caused by the sludge load and the weight of the device, thereby reducing the service life of the parts.
[0006] As wear occurs in this way, friction increases and the operating load rises, leading to reduced energy efficiency and increased operating costs.
[0007] In addition, the flight moves by sliding along the rail through the shoe, and during this process, the shoe rubbing against the rail wears out rapidly due to the weight of the chain and the flight.
[0008] The rapid wear of the shoes equipped on the flights, which leads to flight wear, is causing serious maintenance problems as the upper part of sedimentation tanks is being covered due to the increasing number of underground wastewater treatment plants. This is because replacing the shoes in enclosed spaces is difficult for safety management purposes, resulting in the flights being damaged by wear. Prior art literature

[0010] The objective of the present invention to solve the above-mentioned problems is to provide a non-metallic chain flight type sludge collector equipped with a flight having buoyancy that enables long-term stable operation by improving the cross-sectional shape of the flight to prevent sludge from overflowing and backflowing while improving structural rigidity, forming the reinforcing protrusion as a hollow structure and inserting a buoyancy material inside to improve the buoyancy of the flight, thereby reducing friction between the shoe and the rail and reducing the operating load, minimizing wear and improving maintainability through the return shoe and bottom shoe structures, and configuring the bearings supporting the drive shaft and driven shaft as an self-aligning oil-less structure to correct shaft eccentricity and tilting. means of solving the problem
[0011] The present invention, which performs the task of achieving the above-mentioned purpose and eliminating conventional defects, comprises a drive sprocket shaft assembly and a plurality of driven sprocket shaft assemblies installed spaced apart from each other in a sedimentation tank, a chain wound in an endless track form on the drive sprocket shaft assembly and the driven sprocket shaft assembly, a plurality of flights installed at predetermined intervals on the chain to collect sludge, and a drive unit for driving the drive sprocket shaft assembly, wherein the flights comprise: a central plate for collecting sludge; a backflow prevention ridge formed to protrude forward from the upper part of the central plate to suppress backflow of sludge; an upper horizontal plate horizontally extended rearward from the upper part of the central plate to improve structural rigidity; a vertical plate vertically extended downward from the extended end of the upper horizontal plate; a lower horizontal plate horizontally extended rearward from the lower end of the central plate to improve structural rigidity; and a lower extension plate formed to extend downward from the lower end of the central plate to collect sludge. The invention is characterized by comprising: a reinforcing protrusion formed to protrude convexly toward the rear from the center of the central plate, with the interior formed to be hollow along the longitudinal direction of the flight; a buoyancy material installed to be inserted into the hollow of the reinforcing protrusion to enhance the buoyancy of the flight; and a pair of end caps fitted to both ends of the hollow in the longitudinal direction to seal the hollow.
[0012] In addition, the buoyancy material is characterized by being composed of a plurality of protrusions formed to protrude along the circumference of both ends, thereby allowing the buoyancy material to be fitted into the hollow in a press-fit manner, so as to be firmly fitted into the hollow.
[0013] In addition, the above-described end cap is characterized by comprising: a fitting part that is fitted into the interior of the hollow; a end part formed larger than the diameter of the fitting part and hooked onto the end of the hollow; and a projection formed protruding along the circumference of the fitting part to ensure that the fitting part is firmly fitted into the interior of the hollow.
[0014] In addition, the flight is characterized by comprising: a plurality of return shoes installed spaced apart along the longitudinal direction of the flight on the upper part of the flight; a return shoe wear prevention plate installed interposed between the return shoes and the flight; a plurality of bottom shoes installed spaced apart along the longitudinal direction of the flight on the lower part of the flight; and a bottom shoe wear prevention plate installed interposed between the bottom shoes and the flight.
[0015] In addition, the driven sprocket shaft assembly is configured to include a corner driven sprocket shaft assembly installed around the bottom of a sedimentation tank so as to be positioned below the driving sprocket shaft assembly while having a position parallel to the driving sprocket shaft assembly, and the head shaft constituting the driving sprocket shaft assembly and the corner shaft constituting the corner driven sprocket shaft are installed to be supported by bearings installed on both side walls of the sedimentation tank, and the bearing comprises: a base plate fixedly installed on the side wall of the sedimentation tank; a housing coupled to the base plate; a bush disposed inside the housing, having an inner surface formed in a cylindrical shape into which the head or corner shaft is inserted; a ball hub disposed inside the housing, formed to accommodate the bush inside, and having an outer surface formed in a spherical shape; and a bush casing disposed between the housing and the ball hub, having a spherical receiving surface formed to contact the spherical outer surface of the ball hub. It includes a fixing bolt that is inserted through a through hole formed on the side of the housing and the ball hub and fastened to the ball hub to pressurize and fix the bush; and is characterized in that the spherical outer surface of the ball hub contacts the spherical receiving surface of the bush casing to allow relative angular displacement, thereby enabling automatic alignment even if the axis of the head or corner shaft is eccentric or tilted.
[0016] In addition, the housing is characterized by including a fixed housing integrally fixed to the base plate; and a detachable housing detachably coupled to the fixed housing by a fastening member. Effects of the invention
[0017] As described above, according to the present invention, by forming a hollow in the reinforcing protrusion of the flight and inserting a buoyancy material inside, the self-weight of the flight is reduced and the buoyancy in water is increased. Accordingly, the tension acting on the chain is reduced, thereby decreasing the load on the drive unit, reducing power consumption, and reducing wear on the chain and sprocket, resulting in the effect of reducing maintenance costs.
[0018] In addition, since the buoyancy material is coupled to the hollow interior in a press-fit manner and both ends are sealed with caps, moisture penetration is prevented and a decrease in buoyancy is prevented even during long-term operation, thereby maintaining a stable operating state.
[0019] In addition, return shoes and bottom shoes are installed at the upper and lower parts of the flight, respectively, and a wear-prevention plate is interposed between them. This reduces wear caused by direct contact with the walls and bottom of the sedimentation tank, and facilitates easy replacement of parts, thereby improving maintainability.
[0020] In addition, the bearing structure supporting the shaft is formed with a spherical contact structure of the bush, ball hub, and bush casing, so it automatically aligns even if shaft eccentricity or tilting occurs; this prevents uneven chain wear and reduces the risk of sprocket derailment. Consequently, it enables stable operation over a long period.
[0021] In addition, since the housing is composed of a fixed housing integrally fixed to the base plate and a detachable housing, the bearing can be maintained after separating the detachable housing from the fixed housing, thereby reducing maintenance time and improving workability; this is a very useful invention.
