Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present disclosure relates to a vehicle water removal device for a vehicle watertightness test line. Background Technology

[0002] Generally, since a vehicle accommodates a driver and is equipped with various electrical components, perfect waterproofing of the body is required to provide a pleasant and comfortable driving environment and protect these components. Therefore, vehicles are released after undergoing watertightness tests to verify the waterproofness of the body.

[0003] The vehicle watertightness test line is a facility designed to test the waterproofing performance of a finished vehicle body by creating conditions of light rain and heavy rain. The watertightness test is conducted by spraying water onto the exterior of the vehicle at high pressure, then inspecting for leaks after the water has been removed from the body.

[0004] To this end, the watertightness test line can be divided into a conveyor that moves the vehicle, a shower booth positioned along the conveyor that sprays high-pressure water onto the vehicle body, and a drying booth that removes moisture from the vehicle body.

[0005] As vehicles sequentially enter the shower booth along the conveyor, water is sprayed onto the exterior of the vehicle body through a water spray device installed inside the booth. After passing through the shower booth, the vehicles move to a drying booth located next to it to remove any water adhering to the exterior. Once the water is removed from the vehicle body, the operator opens the doors or windows to inspect whether water has penetrated the interior, thereby verifying the waterproofing capability.

[0006] The removal device provided in the drying booth is designed to remove moisture from the vehicle body and is structured to shake off and remove moisture adhering to the exterior of the vehicle by spraying high-pressure air onto both sides and the top of the vehicle as it moves along the conveyor.

[0007] However, conventional drying devices have a structure in which multiple fans are arranged at each air outlet located on the side and top of the vehicle along the vehicle's transport line. As multiple fans operate, they generate very severe noise, which leads to a poor working environment and reduced work efficiency. If the airflow of the fans is lowered to reduce noise, moisture may not be properly removed, potentially resulting in work defects.

[0008] In addition, since the structure simply removes moisture by spraying air onto the upper part of the vehicle, a problem arises where moisture is not properly removed from the sides as the moisture removed from the upper part moves toward the sides.

[0009] In other words, in conventional systems, moisture from the upper part of the vehicle flows down to the sides due to air sprayed from the top. Consequently, a large amount of moisture must be removed from the sides of the vehicle, as the amount of air supplied to the sides is limited by the blower, making it difficult to remove the moisture sufficiently. Furthermore, increasing the blower's airflow to remove moisture leads to increased noise and frequent breakdowns. The problem to be solved

[0010] The purpose of this project is to provide a vehicle water removal device for a vehicle watertightness test line designed to reduce workplace noise.

[0011] The purpose of this project is to provide a vehicle water removal device for a vehicle watertightness test line that can improve water removal efficiency.

[0012] The present project is to provide a vehicle water removal device for a vehicle watertightness test line capable of effectively removing water from the upper side of the vehicle. means of solving the problem

[0013] The removal device of the present embodiment may be structured to remove water adhering to a vehicle by being provided in a drying booth of a watertight test line comprising a shower booth that sprays water on the exterior of a moving vehicle and a drying booth that is positioned at the exit side of the shower booth along the direction of travel of the vehicle to dry the vehicle.

[0014] The above removal device may include side drying units positioned on both sides inside the drying booth and spaced apart along the direction of vehicle travel to remove moisture adhering to the sides of the vehicle by spraying air toward the sides of the vehicle, top drying units positioned on the upper part inside the drying booth and spaced apart along the direction of vehicle travel to remove moisture adhering to the top of the vehicle by spraying air toward the top of the vehicle, and a supply unit for supplying air to the side drying units and the top drying units.

[0015] The above supply unit may include a blower installed at the top of the drying booth for forcibly blowing air, an intake duct connected to the intake port of the blower for transporting air, at least one intake chamber connected to the intake duct via a connecting duct for inhaling outside air, a supply duct connected to the discharge port of the blower for transporting air, and a pair of branch ducts connected to the supply duct, positioned on each side of the top of the drying booth, extending along the drying booth, and supplying air to the side drying section and the top drying section.

[0016] The above intake chamber may be structured to be placed inside the drying booth and to draw in air inside the drying booth.

[0017] The intake chamber may be structured to be positioned at the entrance of the drying booth along the direction of travel of the vehicle.

[0018] The above-mentioned side drying unit may include a plurality of vertical chambers that are spaced apart and connected to the branch duct of the supply unit and extend to the lower part of the drying booth, and a plurality of side injection nozzles arranged along the vertical direction in the vertical chambers to inject air supplied to the vertical chambers toward the side of the vehicle.

[0019] The above-mentioned side injection nozzle may have a structure in which the nozzle at the tip that injects air is positioned at a downward angle to inject air downward, and is positioned at a rearward angle with respect to the width direction to inject air towards the rear with respect to the vehicle's direction of travel.

[0020] The above-described upper drying unit may include an upper chamber that is spaced apart and connected to the branch duct of the supply unit and extends in the width direction above the drying booth, and a plurality of upper injection nozzles spaced apart and arranged along the upper chamber to inject air supplied to the upper chamber onto the upper part of the vehicle.

[0021] The above-mentioned upper injection nozzles are positioned oppositely on the left and right sides relative to the centerline of the moving vehicle, and each upper injection nozzle may have a nozzle at the tip that sprays air directed backward with respect to the vehicle's direction of travel, and the upper injection nozzle positioned at the outermost along the width direction may have a nozzle at the tip that sprays air inward with respect to the vehicle's direction of travel.

[0022] The above supply unit may further include dampers for opening and closing each chamber.

[0023] The above damper may be structured to be individually driven, installed between the branch duct and the vertical chamber, and between the branch duct and the upper chamber, respectively. Effects of the invention

[0024] As such, according to this embodiment, by providing only one blower and supplying air to each injection nozzle arranged along the vehicle movement line, noise generated during operation can be minimized. In addition, management and maintenance are easy due to the single blower structure.

[0025] By preventing water from the top of the vehicle from flowing down to the sides and instead moving to the rear of the vehicle to be removed, it is possible to prevent water from the top of the vehicle from accumulating on the sides.

[0026] Accordingly, it is possible to prevent poor drying on the sides of the vehicle caused by moisture flowing down from the top to the sides. In addition, moisture adhering to the sides of the vehicle can be effectively removed without increasing the airflow of the spray nozzles positioned on the sides of the vehicle. [0030] Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention are described with reference to the drawings. However, the following embodiments are merely preferred embodiments of the present invention, and the present invention is not limited to the following embodiments.

[0031] FIGS. 1 and FIGS. 2 schematically illustrate the configuration of a water removal device provided in a vehicle watertightness test line according to the present embodiment. FIGS. 3 and FIGS. 4 also show the configuration of a supply unit and a spray nozzle of the water removal device according to the present embodiment.

[0032] Hereinafter, in the drawings, the y-axis direction is referred to as the up-down direction, the upper side along the y-axis direction is referred to as the upper or upper part, and the lower side is referred to as the lower or lower part. Also, in the drawings, the x-axis direction is referred to as the direction of travel in which the vehicle moves, the direction in which the vehicle travels along the x-axis direction is referred to as the front, and the opposite side is referred to as the rear. Additionally, in the drawings, the z-axis direction perpendicular to the x-axis is referred to as the width direction, and the side positioned along the z-axis direction is referred to as the side or side.

[0033] The watertightness test line may include a drying booth (100) positioned at the exit of a shower booth (not shown) that sprays water onto the exterior of the vehicle along the direction of travel of the vehicle to remove water adhering to the vehicle. A conveyor (not shown), for example, for transporting the vehicle may be provided on the floor of the watertightness test line to move the vehicle.

[0034] Accordingly, the vehicle moving along the conveyor after passing through the shower booth passes through drying booths (100) arranged sequentially along the direction of travel. Water adhering to the exterior of the vehicle body while passing through the shower booth is removed and dried while passing through the drying booths (100).

[0035] As illustrated in FIG. 1, the drying booth (100) extends along the direction of travel of the vehicle and provides a space for removing moisture from the surface of the vehicle body. The drying booth (100) may be, for example, a rectangular box structure with an outer wall, and both ends form an entrance (110) and an exit (120) through which the vehicle (200) enters and exits. As the vehicle (200) enters through the entrance (110) of the drying booth (100) and exits through the exit (120), moisture adhering to the surface of the vehicle body is removed by a removal device provided in the drying booth (100).

[0036] The removal device (10) of the present embodiment may include a side drying unit (20) positioned on both sides inside the drying booth (100) and spaced apart along the direction of travel of the vehicle to spray air toward the side of the vehicle (200) to remove moisture adhering to the side, a top drying unit (30) positioned on the upper side inside the drying booth (100) and spaced apart along the direction of travel of the vehicle to spray air toward the upper side of the vehicle (200) to remove moisture adhering to the upper side, and a supply unit (40) for supplying air to the side drying unit (20) and the top drying unit (30).

[0037] Accordingly, high-pressure air blown from the supply unit (40) is sprayed onto both sides and the top of the vehicle (200) through the side drying unit (20) and the top drying unit (30), so that moisture adhering to the surface of the vehicle (200) is removed by being detached from the vehicle body by the sprayed high-pressure air.

[0038] As illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 3, the supply unit (40) of the present embodiment may include a blower (41) for forcibly blowing air provided at the top of the drying booth (100), an intake duct (42) connected to the intake port of the blower (41) to transport air, at least one intake chamber (44) connected to the intake duct (42) via a connecting duct (43) to suck in outside air, a supply duct (45) connected to the discharge port of the blower (41) to transport air, and a pair of branch ducts (46) connected to the supply duct (45) and positioned on each side of the top of the drying booth (100) to extend along the drying booth (100) and supply air to the side drying unit (20) and the top drying unit (30).

[0039] In this way, the supply unit (40) of the device (10) drives a single blower (41) to supply air divided into multiple spray nozzles provided in the upper drying unit (30) and the side drying unit (20) through the supply duct (45) and the branch duct (46), thereby minimizing noise caused by the blower (41).

[0040] The intake duct (42), supply duct (45), connecting duct (43), and branch duct (46) are hollow tube structures with an interior that allows air to flow, for example, and can be formed in various shapes such as square cross-sections or circular cross-sections, and their sizes can also be varied.

[0041] A blower (41) may be installed at the top of the drying booth (100). An intake duct (42) and a supply duct (45) are connected to the intake port and the discharge port of the blower (41), respectively. The intake duct (42) and the supply duct (45) are also installed at the top of the drying booth (100) and may be installed to extend horizontally toward the inlet (110) and outlet (120) of the drying booth (100).

[0042] A plurality of connecting ducts (43) are connected to the intake duct (42), and an intake chamber (44) into which external air is sucked is connected to each connecting duct (43). In this embodiment, the supply unit (40) has two connecting ducts (43) formed as a pair and installed on the left and right sides of the intake duct (42), respectively, extending toward both sides of the drying booth (100). An intake chamber (44) is installed in each connecting duct (43) and is installed toward both sides of the drying booth (100).

[0043] In this embodiment, the intake chamber (44) may be structured to be positioned inside the drying booth (100) and to draw in air from inside the drying booth (100). Additionally, the intake chamber (44) may be structured to be positioned toward the inlet (110) of the drying booth (100) along the direction of travel of the vehicle.

[0044] Accordingly, the supply unit (40) recirculates and utilizes the air inside the drying booth (100) by drawing in the air sprayed into the drying booth (100) by the blower (41) through the intake chamber (44) provided inside the drying booth (100). Therefore, since the noise caused by air intake is generated only inside the drying booth (100), the noise felt by the worker outside the drying booth (100) can be further reduced.

[0045] In addition, as the intake chamber (44) is positioned at the entrance (110) far from the exit (120) of the drying booth (100), the noise prevention effect for workers located outside the exit (120) of the drying booth (100) can be enhanced.

[0046] A plurality of branch ducts (46) are connected to the supply duct (45), and a side drying section (20) and an upper drying section (30) are connected to each branch duct (46). In this embodiment, the supply section (40) is structured such that two branch ducts (46) are paired and installed on the left and right sides of the supply duct (45), respectively, extending toward both sides of the drying booth (100).

[0047] In this embodiment, the branch duct (46) is installed extending a predetermined length along the side from the top of the drying booth (100). A plurality of side drying sections (20) and top drying sections (30) are connected and installed spaced apart at predetermined intervals along the branch duct (46).

[0048] Accordingly, air supplied from the blower (41) to the supply duct (45) is branched into each branch duct (46) connected to the supply duct (45) and distributed to both sides of the drying booth (100), and is sprayed to both sides and the top of the vehicle (200) through the spray nozzles of the multiple side drying sections (20) and top drying sections (30) connected to each branch duct (46).

[0049] In this way, by distributing and supplying air to multiple side drying sections (20) and upper drying sections (30) through a branch duct (46) connected to a supply duct (45), it becomes possible to spray air through each side drying section (20) and upper drying section (30) with just one blower (41).

[0050] Additionally, the supply unit (40) of the present embodiment may further include a damper (47) installed between the branch duct (46), the upper drying unit (30), and the side drying unit (20) to block the supply of air. That is, the damper (47) may be structured to open and close the conduit by being installed between the branch duct (46) and the vertical chamber of each side drying unit (20), and between the branch duct (46) and the upper chamber of each upper drying unit (30).

[0051] The damper (47) may be a structure including, for example, a plate installed inside a duct to block the conduit, and may be a structure that controls the flow of air by moving the plate to adjust the degree of opening of the conduit. Any structure that opens and closes the conduit can be applied to the damper (47) and is not particularly limited. Each damper (47) can be individually driven to selectively supply air to each side drying section (20) and top drying section (30).

[0052] For example, in the case of multiple side drying units (20) arranged along the direction of travel of a vehicle, as the vehicle (200) moves, the damper (47) of the side drying unit (20) arranged at the rear is opened first, and the supply unit (40) can be driven with the damper (47) of the side drying unit (20) at the front, where the vehicle (200) has not yet arrived, closed. Accordingly, as the vehicle (200) enters, air is supplied only to the rear side drying unit (20) that comes into contact with the vehicle (200) first, thereby spraying air for the vehicle (200), and air is not sprayed through the front side drying unit (20) where the vehicle (200) has not yet arrived. Therefore, it is possible to prevent energy waste and reduced water removal efficiency by preventing air from being sprayed unnecessarily when the vehicle (200) is not located.

[0053] In this way, by controlling the operation of each damper (47), air is supplied to the necessary places of each upper drying section (30) and side drying section (20), making it possible to perform the moisture removal work more effectively.

[0054] A plurality of side drying units (20) may be arranged and installed at intervals in each branch duct (46) of the supply unit (40). The device (10) is structured such that two side drying units (20) are provided in each of the two branch ducts (46), and a total of four side drying units (20) may be provided. That is, two side drying units (20) are arranged and installed at a predetermined distance apart along the vehicle's direction of travel on each side of the drying booth (100). Each side drying unit (20) placed on both sides of the drying booth (100) is connected and installed to each branch duct (46) that extends along the top of the drying booth (100).

[0055] Each side drying section (20) may be made of the same structure. Below, the structure of one side drying section (20) is described as an example, and the structure of the other side drying section (20) is substituted therefor.

[0056] The side drying unit (20) of the present embodiment may include a vertical chamber (21) connected to the branch duct (46) of the supply unit (40) and extending to the lower part of the drying booth (100), and a plurality of side injection nozzles (22) arranged along the vertical direction in the vertical chamber (21) to spray air supplied to the vertical chamber (21) to the side of the vehicle (200).

[0057] Accordingly, the air supplied to the branch duct (46) is supplied to the vertical chamber (21) connected to the branch duct (46) and is sprayed to the side of the vehicle (200) through the side injection nozzle (22) installed in the vertical chamber (21).

[0058] As mentioned, a damper (47) is installed between the branch duct (46) and the vertical chamber (21), so that the supply of air to the vertical chamber (21) can be controlled by driving the damper (47).

[0059] The vertical chamber (21) is a hollow square or cylindrical tube structure, the top of which is connected to a branch duct (46) and the sides of which are connected to a plurality of side injection nozzles (22).

[0060] In addition, the vertical chamber (21) of this embodiment is structured such that its upper end is connected to the branch duct (46) via a damper (47), and its lower end is installed in contact with the floor of the drying booth (100). The vertical chamber (21) acts as a conduit for supplying air and also acts as a supporting structure for the branch duct (46) positioned above the drying booth (100). Each branch duct (46) can be supported by the floor of the drying booth (100) by a plurality of vertical chambers (21). Therefore, the device (10) of this embodiment can stably fix the branch duct (46) within the drying booth (100) using the vertical chamber (21) without installing a separate structure to support the branch duct (46). Accordingly, the configuration of the drying device (10) can be simplified, thereby reducing the equipment construction and maintenance costs. In addition, the vertical chamber (21) is stably supported vertically, so that high-pressure air is stably sprayed while minimizing the movement of the side spray nozzle (22), thereby allowing the moisture removal effect to be sustained even during long-term use.

[0061] Multiple side spray nozzles (22) may be installed in the vertical chamber (21) at spaced intervals along the vertical direction. In this embodiment, the side spray nozzles (22) are structured such that four are installed. Each side spray nozzle (22) is connected to the inside of the vertical chamber (21) by a pipe structure and extends into the drying booth (100), and the tip forms a nozzle (23) that discharges high-pressure air.

[0062] The side injection nozzle (22) of the present embodiment may have a structure in which the nozzle (23) at the tip that injects air is positioned so as to be inclined downward at a predetermined angle (see A in FIG. 2) to inject air downward, and is positioned so as to be inclined backward at a predetermined angle (see B in FIG. 1) with respect to the width direction to inject air backward with respect to the direction of travel of the vehicle.

[0063] Accordingly, the air sprayed through the nozzle (23) at the tip of the side injection nozzle (22) is sprayed downward at a predetermined angle relative to the side of the vehicle (200) and is also sprayed obliquely toward the rear of the vehicle's direction of travel. Therefore, as the vehicle (200) moves, the moisture on the side of the vehicle (200) is gradually pushed toward the rear of the vehicle (200) along the direction of the air spray, and can be smoothly removed by flowing down from the top to the bottom due to its own weight.

[0064] The upper drying unit (30) is positioned on the upper part of the drying booth (100) and sprays air onto the upper part of the moving vehicle (200) to remove moisture from the upper part of the vehicle (200).

[0065] A plurality of upper drying units (30) may be arranged and installed at intervals in each branch duct (46) of the supply unit (40). The device (10) may have a structure in which two upper drying units (30) are connected and installed in the branch duct (46). That is, two upper drying units (30) are arranged and installed at a predetermined distance apart along the vehicle's direction of travel on the upper part of the drying booth (100). Each upper drying unit (30) is connected and installed in the branch duct (46) that extends along the upper part of the drying booth (100).

[0066] Each upper drying section (30) can be made of the same structure. Below, the structure of one upper drying section (30) is described as an example, and the structure of the other upper drying section (30) is substituted therefor.

[0067] The upper drying unit (30) of the present embodiment may include an upper chamber (31) that is spaced apart and connected to the branch duct (46) of the supply unit (40) and extends in the width direction above the drying booth (100), and a plurality of upper injection nozzles (32) that are spaced apart and arranged along the upper chamber (31) to spray air supplied to the upper chamber (31) onto the upper part of the vehicle (200).

[0068] Accordingly, the air supplied to the branch duct (46) is supplied to the upper chamber (31) connected to the branch duct (46), and is sprayed onto the upper part of the vehicle (200) through the upper injection nozzle (32) installed in the upper chamber (31).

[0069] As mentioned, a damper (47) is installed between the branch duct (46) and the upper chamber (31), so that the supply of air to the upper chamber (31) can be controlled by driving the damper (47).

[0070] The upper chamber (31) is a hollow, square or cylindrical tube structure arranged in the width direction, with both ends connected to branch ducts (46) positioned on both sides of the drying booth. Multiple side spray nozzles (22) are connected along the upper chamber (31). Since both ends of the upper chamber (31) are connected to the branch ducts (46), it can be stably supported and positioned on the upper part of the drying booth (100).

[0071] Multiple upper spray nozzles (32) may be installed in the upper chamber (31) at spaced intervals along the width direction. Each upper spray nozzle (32) is connected to the inside of the upper chamber (31) via a pipe structure and extends downward along the vertical direction, and its tip forms a nozzle (33) that discharges high-pressure air. The upper drying unit (30) of this embodiment is equipped with four upper spray nozzles (32) and is arranged and installed along the upper chamber.

[0072] The upper spray nozzle (32) of the present embodiment is structured to prevent water on the upper part of the vehicle (200) from flowing toward the side of the vehicle (200) during the water removal process by moving the water on the upper part of the vehicle (200) toward the rear to remove it.

[0073] The upper spray nozzle (32) of the present embodiment is structured so that during the process of removing water from the upper part of the vehicle (200), the water does not flow toward the side of the vehicle (200), but is pushed only toward the rear from the upper part of the vehicle (200) to be removed. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent the water adhering to the upper part of the vehicle (200) from being added to the side, thereby preventing an increase in the load of the water removal operation on the side of the vehicle (200).

[0074] FIGS. 5 and FIGS. 6 show the structure of the upper injection nozzle (32) of the present embodiment for this purpose.

[0075] As shown in FIG. 5, the upper injection nozzles (32) are positioned opposite each other on the left and right sides with respect to the centerline (see L in FIG. 5) of the moving vehicle (200) where the nozzle (33) of the upper injection nozzle that sprays air is positioned at a predetermined angle (see C in FIG. 5) toward the rear with respect to the direction of travel of the vehicle, and are structured to spray air toward the rear.

[0076] The centerline (L) of the vehicle (200) can be understood as a line passing through the center between the two sides of the vehicle (200) as it passes through the drying booth (100).

[0077] Multiple upper injection nozzles (32) are symmetrically arranged on the left and right sides based on the centerline of the vehicle (200), so that air can be sprayed evenly and uniformly on the upper front of the vehicle (200).

[0078] Accordingly, air sprayed through the nozzle (33) at the tip of the upper spray nozzle (32) is sprayed backward at a predetermined angle from the upper part of the vehicle (200). Therefore, as the vehicle (200) moves, water adhering to the upper part of the vehicle (200) can be smoothly removed as it is gradually pushed backward along the spray direction.

[0079] Additionally, as shown in FIG. 6, the upper injection nozzle (32) of the present embodiment, which is positioned at the outermost side along the width direction, may have a structure in which the nozzle (33) at the tip is positioned at a predetermined angle (see D in FIG. 6) toward the inside of the vehicle (200) with respect to the direction of vehicle movement to inject air inward.

[0080] The upper injection nozzle (32) positioned at the outermost side may refer to an upper injection nozzle (32) located far from the centerline (L) of the vehicle (200) along the width direction.

[0081] Accordingly, the air sprayed through the nozzle (33) at the tip of the upper injection nozzle (32) positioned at the outermost side is sprayed inward, that is, toward the centerline, at a predetermined angle (D) relative to the direction of travel of the vehicle. Therefore, as the vehicle (200) moves, the water that is gradually pushed toward the rear of the vehicle (200) by the upper injection nozzle (32) is unable to flow down toward the side by the upper injection nozzle (32) positioned at the outermost side and moves inward.

[0082] That is, the upper injection nozzle (32) positioned at the outermost side blocks water from flowing down to the side on the upper side of the vehicle (200), and the water is pushed inward from the upper side of the vehicle (200) by the air sprayed from the upper injection nozzle (32) located at the outermost side.

[0083] By preventing the water on the upper side of the vehicle (200) from flowing down to the side and moving to the rear of the vehicle (200) to be removed, the water on the upper side of the vehicle (200) can be prevented from being added to the side.

[0084] Therefore, it is possible to prevent poor drying on the side of the vehicle (200) caused by water flowing down from the top of the vehicle (200) to the side. In addition, water adhering to the side of the vehicle (200) can be effectively removed without increasing the airflow of the spray nozzle positioned on the side of the vehicle (200).

[0085] In this way, the drying device (10) of the present embodiment can remove moisture from the vehicle (200) more effectively as the removal of moisture from the side of the vehicle (200) and the removal of moisture from the top surface of the vehicle (200) are performed individually without affecting each other.

[0086] As described above, exemplary embodiments of the present invention have been illustrated and described; however, various modifications and other embodiments may be made by those skilled in the art. Such modifications and other embodiments are all taken into account and are included in the appended claims and do not depart from the true spirit and scope of the present invention.
