Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a summer safety hat that protects the elderly from diseases and accidents caused by heatwaves, heatstroke, etc. Background Technology

[0003] Generally, hats are used for various purposes, such as shielding from sunlight, blocking rain or snow, for hair styling, and keeping the head warm.

[0004] Meanwhile, global warming is a phenomenon in which the Earth's average temperature rises due to various forms of environmental destruction. Even in Korea, which has distinct seasons, the boundaries between the seasons are becoming increasingly blurred, and record-breaking heatwaves are becoming more severe. However, in such extreme heat, wearing a hat only blocks sunlight and has limitations in preventing the wearer's body temperature from rising.

[0005] In particular, elderly people who are vulnerable to heat may develop heat-related illnesses such as heatstroke even after only a short period of outdoor activity, and secondary accidents may occur where they collide with hard floors or walls while falling due to heatstroke.

[0006] Therefore, it is proposed to equip the hat with a ventilation device to lower or prevent the wearer's body temperature from rising.

[0007] For example, Registered Patent Publication No. 10-0764466 discloses a fan hat, which has a structure in which one end of a flexible connecting support is fixed to a headband of the hat as a fixing device and a fan is installed at the opposite end of the connecting support so that the position of the fan can be freely moved. However, since the connecting support and the fan are exposed to the outside, it has the problem of poor aesthetics and inconvenient storage, and it cannot provide any assistance in the event that an elderly person or the wearer falls.

[0008] As another example, Public Patent Publication No. 10-2022-0028474 discloses a hat equipped with a fan, which is structured to provide airflow to the brim of a hat consisting of a head and a brim, and to switch or restore the built-in fan to a blowing position. However, there is a limitation in that air is blown only toward the wearer's face, and there is a problem in that it cannot provide any assistance in the event that the elderly or the wearer falls down. [0025] Hereinafter, preferred embodiments according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached FIGS. 1 to 4, focusing on the parts necessary to understand the operation and function according to the present invention.

[0027] FIG. 1 is a drawing of a summer safety hat according to the present invention, FIG. 2 is a block diagram showing the components of a summer safety hat according to the present invention, FIG. 3 is a drawing of a transport path of a summer safety hat according to the present invention, and FIG. 4 is a drawing of a cushioning part of a summer safety hat according to the present invention.

[0028] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 4, a summer safety hat (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention may be configured to include a body part (110), a ventilation part (120), an airbag deployment part (130), a wear detection sensor part (140), a fall detection sensor part (150), and a control part (160).

[0029] The summer safety hat (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention can be used for wearing in the summer, and in particular, can be used to protect the elderly or the elderly vulnerable to heat from accidents caused by heatwaves, heatstroke, etc. during outdoor activities.

[0030] In addition, a summer safety hat (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention may be formed with a structure consisting of a crown into which the wearer's head is inserted and a brim that forms shade on the wearer's face, and may be formed in the shape of, for example, a cloche, a fedora, a bowler, or a boater, but is not limited thereto.

[0031] In addition, a summer safety hat (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention may be provided with a hat strap (10) that can be fastened so as not to fall off the wearer's head.

[0032] The above body part (110) forms an exterior consisting of a crown and a brim.

[0033] The body portion (110) may be formed as an air tube structure filled with air, and a ventilation opening is formed at the top to install a ventilation portion (120). At this time, the aforementioned ventilation opening may be a cylindrical hole that penetrates the body portion (110) vertically.

[0034] Specifically, the body portion (110) may be composed of a body (111) having an air tube structure, an outer shell (112) formed on the outer surface of the body (111) and made of a fibrous material such as hemp, and an inner shell (113) formed on the inner surface of the body (111) and made of a mesh structure.

[0035] Here, since the aforementioned body (111) is filled with air, it can provide a function to reduce a certain impact on its own when a situation occurs where the wearer collides with an external object or falls and collides with the floor or wall, etc.

[0036] Additionally, the body part (110) may further include a transport path (114) connected to a ventilation opening.

[0037] The above-mentioned passage (114) is formed in the shape of a passage that is not filled with air, is connected to the vent of the body part (110) and extends in the direction where the brim is located, and functions as a passage that induces air flow into the vent when the ventilation part (120) is operated.

[0038] These transport paths (114) can be formed in multiple numbers, and the width or number of installations can be adjusted according to the size or shape of the hat, allowing the temperature of the wearer's body, especially the head area, to be controlled more effectively.

[0039] Additionally, the body part (110) may further include a cushioning part (115) for shock absorption.

[0040] The above buffer section (115) is formed inside the body section (110) filled with air, that is, inside the body (111), and is provided in the same number as the airbag deployment section (130) described later and is positioned at a location corresponding to the airbag deployment section (130).

[0041] Such a cushioning part (115) may be formed of a shock-absorbing material including a sponge, formed with a predetermined width, and formed with a convex shape in the center to facilitate shock absorption, and is positioned opposite the airbag deployment part (130) to absorb the shock when the airbag is deployed, thereby preventing physical injury to the wearer caused by the airbag.

[0042] The above ventilation part (120) is placed in the ventilation opening of the body part (110).

[0043] This ventilation part (120) can regulate the wearer's body temperature, particularly the temperature of the head, by expelling air from inside the crown to the outside.

[0044] Additionally, the ventilation unit (120) may be equipped with a fan and may operate under the control of the control unit (160) and may operate in a manner that introduces external air.

[0045] In addition, a space formed by an inner lining (113) is formed in the lower part of the ventilation section (120) so that the wearer's head does not come into direct contact with the ventilation section (120).

[0046] The airbag deployment unit (130) is formed at multiple positions on the crown of the body part (110). The airbag deployment unit (130) has an airbag built into it and is configured to operate by triggering a safety signal from the control unit (160), and is configured to deploy the airbag when the safety signal is received.

[0047] Additionally, the airbag deployment unit (130) deploys the airbag outside the outer shell (112), and in particular, can deploy the airbag in a manner that simultaneously surrounds all four sides of the wearer's head.

[0048] The above-mentioned wear detection sensor unit (140) is positioned on the inner side of the crown of the body unit (110) to detect whether the wearer is wearing the summer safety hat (100).

[0049] The wear detection sensor unit (140) may be equipped as a wear detection sensor that detects whether it is being worn in a wearable device, but is not limited thereto, and may be equipped as various sensors such as a human body detection sensor, an infrared sensor, a pressure sensor, etc.

[0050] Additionally, when the wear detection sensor unit (140) detects that a wearer is wearing the summer safety hat (100), it can output a predetermined signal to the control unit (160).

[0051] The above-mentioned fall detection sensor unit (150) detects the movement of the wearer and detects falling while walking.

[0052] The fall detection sensor unit (150) may be installed at a predetermined location on the body unit (110), and when a wearer falls, it outputs a predetermined signal to the control unit (160), and may be configured to include at least one of an accelerometer and a gyroscope.

[0053] In addition, the fall detection sensor unit (150) can detect a certain pattern of movement, and if a sudden change in acceleration and angle occurs, it can determine that the wearer has fallen.

[0054] The above control unit (160) controls the ventilation unit (120) and the airbag deployment unit (130).

[0055] The control unit (160) may be installed at a predetermined location on the body unit (110) and may include one or more processors, and may operate the ventilation unit (120) based on a signal from the wear detection sensor unit (140), and may stop the operation of the ventilation unit (120) if the signal from the wear detection sensor unit (140) is not received.

[0056] Additionally, the control unit (160) can determine the deployment time of the airbag deployment unit (130) and output a safety signal, at which time the deployment time of the airbag deployment unit (130) can be determined based on the signal of the fall detection sensor unit (150).

[0057] For example, when the control unit (160) receives a predetermined signal from the fall detection sensor unit (150), it determines that the time for deployment of the airbag deployment unit (130) has arrived and outputs a safety signal to deploy the airbag deployment unit (130).

[0058] Meanwhile, a summer safety hat (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention may further include a power supply unit (not shown) for supplying operating power, wherein the power supply unit may include a battery and be configured to be charged by receiving external power or by using a solar cell.
