Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a capsule moisture cosmetic and a method for manufacturing the same. According to one embodiment, the invention relates to a cosmetic used as an ampoule or toner product (formulation) that includes a moisturizing capsule and can maintain moisture for a long time when applied to the skin, and a method for manufacturing the same. Background Technology

[0003] Cosmetics such as ampoules and toners are used to hydrate the skin and improve wrinkles. It is known that maintaining the skin's moisture content is crucial for keeping the skin elastic and smooth. When the moisture content of the stratum corneum decreases, the protective function against external stimuli weakens, causing the skin to become rough and lose flexibility.

[0004] Generally, oil components or natural extracts are used for skin moisturization or wrinkle improvement. Most of the natural extracts used are medicinal extracts derived from herbal medicines. Korean Published Patent No. 10-2017-0137508 discloses a cosmetic composition containing raw Rehmannia glutinosa extract, processed Rehmannia glutinosa extract, Scutellaria baicalensis extract, Artemisia capillaris extract, Citrus aurantium extract, Glycyrrhiza glabra extract, and loquat leaf extract, Korean Registered Patent No. 10-2328010 discloses a cosmetic composition containing Artemisia vulgaris extract, and Korean Registered Patent No. 10-1292837 discloses a cosmetic composition containing Alnus japonica extract.

[0005] However, conventional cosmetics provide only temporary hydration and fail to maintain moisture for a long period. Furthermore, when a large amount of moisturizing ingredients are included, formulation stability and usability (such as stickiness) deteriorate, making it difficult to achieve a balance. [0091] The above capsule may have an average size (diameter) of several nanometers (nm) to several hundred micrometers (µm). According to one embodiment, the above capsule may include a nano-capsule having a nano-size of an average diameter of 50 nm to 300 nm. The above capsule may be manufactured according to conventional methods and may be mixed into a cosmetic composition in a dispersed form in an aqueous and / or oil phase solution. The above capsule may be manufactured to a nano-size through methods such as polymer encapsulation, liposome encapsulation, and electrospray. Examples of polymer encapsulation include interfacial polymerization, interfacial precipitation, and sol-gel methods. Through such polymer encapsulation, a capsule in which a moisturizing ingredient is encapsulated within a polymer capsule membrane may be manufactured. The above capsule membrane may be composed of a polymer selected from acrylics and / or copolymers thereof, as is customary.

[0092] The above capsule may be included in an amount of 0.5 to 10.0 weight% based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition. If the content of the above capsule is less than 0.5 weight%, it is difficult to expect effects such as moisturizing properties from its use, and if it exceeds 10.0 weight%, formulation stability may be reduced in liquid formulations such as ampoules or toners. Considering these points, it is preferable that the above capsule be included in an amount of 1.0 to 5.0 weight% or 2.0 to 5.0 weight%.

[0093] According to an embodiment of the present invention, the capsule membrane preferably comprises a carbomer-hyaluronic acid crosslink (crosslinked polymer) in which carbomer (CB) and hyaluronic acid (HA) are crosslinked by a crosslinking agent. When the capsule membrane comprises a carbomer-hyaluronic acid crosslink, it exhibits good miscibility with the hyaluronic acid-based (first moisturizing ingredient) and carbomer (viscosity modifier), thereby providing formulation stability. Furthermore, this is more advantageous for skin moisturization than other polymers and can improve moisture retention by maintaining skin hydration for a long time.

[0094] The above-mentioned crosslinking agent should preferably be capable of crosslinking carbomer (CB) and hyaluronic acid (HA). According to an embodiment of the present invention, the above-mentioned crosslinking agent preferably comprises a diamine-based compound. The above-mentioned diamine-based compound is one having two amine groups within its molecule, such as hexamethylenediamine (HMDA; Hexamethyenediamine) (C3H 16 One or more selected from N2) and ethylenediamine (EDA; Ethylenediamine) (C2H8N2) may be used, and among these, it is preferable to use hexamethylenediamine (HMDA). According to an embodiment of the present invention, when a diamine-based compound is used as a crosslinking agent, the carbomer (CB) and hyaluronic acid (HA) are crosslinked with a higher bonding strength than when other crosslinking agents (e.g., carboxylic acids such as succinic acid) are used, and a gel-state carbomer-hyaluronic acid crosslinker having high moisturizing properties and moisture retention can be produced in a high yield.

[0095] According to one embodiment, the above carbomer-hyaluronic acid crosslinker may be produced by crosslinking carbomer (CB), hyaluronic acid (HA), and a diamine-based compound (crosslinking agent) in the presence of a reaction catalyst. In this case, considering the yield (production rate) of the carbomer-hyaluronic acid crosslinker, it is preferable that the reaction catalyst comprises two different components, namely 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl) carbodiimide (EDC) and N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS).

[0096] According to an embodiment of the present invention, when both 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide (EDC) and N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) are used as reaction catalysts, the yield (production rate) of at least the carbomer-hyaluronic acid crosslink can be increased. In addition, the carbomer-hyaluronic acid crosslink can be produced by crosslinking a reaction mixture comprising carbomer (CB), hyaluronic acid (HA), and a diamine compound (crosslinking agent) in the presence of both 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide (EDC) and N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) as reaction catalysts, under conditions of pH 4.5 to pH 7. The pH can be adjusted by mixing a buffer solution (e.g., MES buffer solution) or citric acid into the reaction mixture. The above crosslinking reaction can be carried out at room temperature (e.g., 20°C to 25°C) for about 2 to 8 hours or for 4 to 6 hours.

[0097] In addition, in the above crosslinking reaction, it is preferable to use carbomer (CB), hyaluronic acid (HA), and a crosslinking agent (diamine compound) in a weight ratio of 1:0.8 to 1.2:0.1 to 0.5. Specifically, it is preferable that the carbomer-hyaluronic acid crosslinker is produced by crosslinking a reaction product (pH 4.5 to pH 7) containing carbomer (CB), hyaluronic acid (HA), and a crosslinking agent (diamine compound) in a weight ratio of 1:0.8 to 1.2:0.1 to 0.5 in the presence of a reaction catalyst. The reaction order (order of addition of each component) during the above crosslinking reaction is not particularly limited, but first, a carbomer (CB) solution is prepared by dissolving carbomer (CB) in water, and a hyaluronic acid (HA) solution is prepared by dissolving hyaluronic acid (HA) in a buffer solution. Then, the carbomer (CB) solution and the hyaluronic acid (HA) solution are mixed and stirred for a certain period of time, a diamine compound (crosslinking agent) is added dropwise, and then both 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide (EDC) and N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) are added as reaction catalysts, and the crosslinking reaction is carried out by stirring at room temperature for 4 to 6 hours. At this time, for 100 parts by weight of a diamine-based compound (crosslinking agent) in the crosslinking reaction, the 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide (EDC) may be used in an amount of about 0.2 to 25 parts by weight or 0.5 to 20 parts by weight, and the N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) may be used in an amount of about 0.1 to 20 parts by weight or 0.2 to 15 parts by weight.

[0098] According to an embodiment of the present invention, when a crosslinking reaction is carried out under the above reaction conditions, the carbomer-hyaluronic acid crosslinker may have a yield of 65% or more, preferably 80% or more, according to the following mathematical formula, and specifically, may have a yield of about 65% to 90%. In addition, when a reaction is carried out under the above reaction conditions, residues (unreacted materials, etc.) can be minimized.

[0100] [Mathematical Formula]

[0101] Yield (%) = C / (A+B) x 100

[0102] (In the mathematical formula above,

[0103] A: The weight of the mixture of carbomer and hyaluronic acid used in the reaction, and

[0104] B: Weight of the crosslinking agent used in the reaction,

[0105] C: Weight of the carbomer-hyaluronic acid crosslink produced by the reaction.

[0107] The above carbomer-hyaluronic acid crosslinker may have amide bonds (-CONH-) formed by the reaction of the carboxyl groups (-COOH) of carbomer (CB) and hyaluronic acid (HA) with the ammonamines (-NH2) of the crosslinking agent hexamethylenediamine (HMDA) after the carboxyl groups (-COOH) of carbomer (CB) and hyaluronic acid (HA) are activated by the reaction catalysts 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide (EDC) and N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS). The carbomer-hyaluronic acid crosslinker produced through this process is a hydrogel, which may have a network structure.

[0108] The above carbomer-hyaluronic acid crosslinker can form a capsule membrane, for example, through an interfacial precipitation method. As a specific example, after obtaining a solution by dissolving the above carbomer-hyaluronic acid crosslinker and a skin beauty ingredient (moisturizing ingredient, etc.) in an organic solvent (ethanol, etc.), if this solution is slowly added to water containing a surfactant (purified water, etc.), the organic solvent diffuses into the water, and the carbomer-hyaluronic acid crosslinker can precipitate on the surface of the skin beauty ingredient (moisturizing ingredient, etc.) to encapsulate it.

[0110] The above cosmetic composition may be prepared according to conventional cosmetic manufacturing methods. According to one embodiment, it may be prepared by sequentially dissolving or dispersing a hyaluronic acid-based component, a moisturizer, and an amino acid in a liquid medium, and then adding a natural extract, a carbomer, an emulsifier, and optional components as needed, and stirring uniformly. During preparation, the temperature, stirring speed, and order of addition may be appropriately controlled considering formulation stability.

[0111] A method for manufacturing a cosmetic according to the present invention may include: a synthesis step of generating (synthesizing) a carbomer-hyaluronic acid crosslink according to an embodiment of the present invention; an encapsulation step of forming a capsule in which a skin beauty ingredient (such as a moisturizing ingredient) is encapsulated within a capsule membrane (carbomer-hyaluronic acid crosslink) using the carbomer-hyaluronic acid crosslink and a skin beauty ingredient (such as a moisturizing ingredient); and a mixing step of obtaining a cosmetic composition comprising the capsule. In this case, in the mixing step, each component such as a hyaluronic acid-based, natural extract, moisturizer, amino acid, carbomer, emulsifier, capsule, and liquid medium may be mixed to have the content ranges as described above. The synthesis step and the encapsulation step may be carried out in the manner described above. The cosmetic composition obtained through the mixing step may be contained (packaged) in an appropriate amount in a container.

[0113] According to the present invention described above, excellent moisturizing properties are achieved through the combined action of hyaluronic acid-based components and natural extracts, and together with effects such as wrinkle improvement, whitening, nutrient supply, and antioxidant properties. According to an embodiment of the present invention, when a hyaluronic acid-based component, natural extract, moisturizer, amino acid, carbomer, emulsifier, and liquid medium are included in the content ranges described above, the product can provide immediate moisturizing properties upon application to the skin and maintain moisture for a long time (moisture retention capacity), while also improving formulation stability and usability. For example, it possesses high formulation stability and usability even in low-viscosity liquid formulations (such as ampoules or toners). Furthermore, according to an embodiment of the present invention, when a moist capsule containing at least a moisturizing component is included and the capsule membrane constituting the capsule contains a carbomer-hyaluronic acid crosslink, the product exhibits good miscibility with the hyaluronic acid-based component, thereby improving formulation stability and moisture retention capacity.

[0115] The following describes manufacturing examples, embodiments, and comparative examples as specific experimental examples of the present invention. The following manufacturing examples and embodiments are provided merely as examples to aid in understanding the present invention and do not limit the technical scope of the present invention. Furthermore, the following comparative examples do not imply prior art and are provided solely for comparison with the embodiments.

[0117] [Preparation Example 1] Preparation of Carbomer (CB)-Hyaluronic Acid (HA) Crosslinker

[0118] A carbomer solution was prepared by dissolving carbomer (CB) (Carbopol 941) in distilled water in a reactor equipped with a stirrer. In a buffer (MES buffer), an average molecular weight of approximately 2.8 x 10⁻⁶ 6 A hyaluronic acid (HA) solution with a pH of 5.8 (concentration of hyaluronic acid (HA) of approximately 13.5 wt%) was prepared in which Da's hyaluronic acid (HA) was dissolved.

[0119] A hyaluronic acid (HA) solution was added to a reactor containing the above carbomer (CB) solution and stirred, then hexamethylenediamine (HMDA) was slowly added as a crosslinking agent, followed by the addition of 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide (EDC) and N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) as reaction catalysts, and then a crosslinking reaction was carried out at room temperature (approx. 21°C) for 4 hours and 30 minutes while stirring to prepare a gel-state carbomer (CB)-hyaluronic acid (HA) crosslink. In this crosslinking reaction, the ratio of carbomer (CB) : hyaluronic acid (HA) : crosslinking agent hexamethylenediamine (HMDA) was used in a weight ratio of approximately 1 : 1 : 0.25. And for every 100 parts by weight of the crosslinking agent hexamethylenediamine (HMDA), 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide (EDC) was used in an amount of about 15 parts by weight and N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) was used in an amount of about 10 parts by weight.

[0121] [Preparation Examples 2 to 6] Preparation of Carbomer (CB)-Hyaluronic Acid (HA) Crosslinks

[0122] Compared to Preparation Example 1 above, carbomer (CB)-hyaluronic acid (HA) crosslinks were prepared according to each Preparation Example (2 to 6) by varying the ratio (weight ratio) of carbomer (CB), hyaluronic acid (HA), and crosslinking agent, or by varying the type of crosslinking agent and the type of reaction catalyst. Compared to Preparation Example 1, Preparation Example 2 varied the ratio (weight ratio) of hyaluronic acid (HA) and the crosslinking agent hexamethylenediamine (HMDA), Preparation Example 3 used ethylenediamine (EDA) instead of hexamethylenediamine (HMDA) as the crosslinking agent, and Preparation Example 4 used 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide (EDC) alone as the reaction catalyst without using N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS). In addition, compared to Preparation Example 1, Preparation Example 5 used succinic acid instead of hexamethylenediamine (HMDA) as a crosslinking agent, and Preparation Example 6 used hypochlorous acid (HOCl) and phosphoric acid (H3PO4) as reaction catalysts. The synthesis conditions of the carbomer (CB)-hyaluronic acid (HA) crosslinks according to each of the above preparation examples are shown in [Table 1] below.

[0124] < Test Example 1 > : Yield (%) Evaluation

[0125] The yield (production rate) (%) of the carbomer (CB)-hyaluronic acid (HA) crosslink according to each of the above preparation examples was evaluated. The yield (%) was calculated according to the following mathematical formula 1, and the results are shown in [Table 1] below.

[0127] [Mathematical Formula 1]

[0128] Yield (%) = C / (A+B) x 100

[0129] In the above mathematical formula 1,

[0130] A: The weight of the mixture of carbomer (CB) and hyaluronic acid (HA) used in the reaction (the amount of mixture added to the reactor), and

[0131] B: Weight of the crosslinking agent used in the reaction (amount added to the reactor), and

[0132] C: Amount of carbomer (CB)-hyaluronic acid (HA) crosslinked product, which is the weight of the gel-state carbomer (CB)-hyaluronic acid (HA) crosslinked product obtained by filtering the solution after the reaction is finished with filter paper.

[0134] < Results of Synthesis Conditions and Yield Evaluation of CB-HA Crosslinkers According to Each Preparation Example > note Usage ratio (CB : HA : crosslinking agent) crosslinking agent reaction catalyst Temperature / Time transference number Preparation Example 1 1 : 1 : 0.25 HMDA EDC + NHS Room temperature / 4.5 hours 86.4% Preparation Example 2 1 : 0.5 : 0.1 HMDA EDC + NHS Room temperature / 4.5 hours 68.7% Preparation Example 3 1 : 1 : 0.25 EDA EDC + NHS Room temperature / 4.5 hours 65.3% Preparation Example 4 1 : 1 : 0.25 HMDA EDC Room temperature / 4.5 hours 53.5% Preparation Example 5 1 : 1 : 0.25 Succinic acid EDC + NHS Room temperature / 4.5 hours 42.3% Preparation Example 6 1 : 1 : 0.25 HMDA HOCl + H3PO4 Room temperature / 4.5 hours 46.2% * CB: Carbomer (Carbopol 941) * HA: Hyaluronic acid * HMDA: Hexamethylenediamine * EDA: Ethylenediamine * EDC: 1-Ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide * NHS: N-hydroxysuccinimide

[0136] As shown in [Table 1] above, it was found that the yield (%) of the carbomer (CB)-hyaluronic acid (HA) crosslink varied depending on the ratio (weight ratio) of carbomer (CB), hyaluronic acid (HA), and crosslinking agent used, the type of crosslinking agent, and the type of reaction catalyst.

[0137] First, it was found that when the reaction was carried out using the reactants in appropriate proportions as in Preparation Example 1, using hexamethylenediamine (HMDA) as a diamine-based crosslinking agent and both 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide (EDC) and N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) as reaction catalysts, a high yield of approximately 86% or more was obtained. However, when the ratio of reactants used was different or 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide (EDC) was used alone as the reaction catalyst, as in Preparation Examples 2 and 4, the yield (%) decreased; in particular, when both the crosslinking agent and the reaction catalyst were different, as in Preparation Examples 5 and 6, the yield (%) was found to be significantly lower.

[0139] [Example 1] Preparation of a cosmetic composition

[0140] The first mixture and the second mixture were mixed in purified water (liquid medium), and then the third mixture and the fourth mixture were stirred and mixed therein. Subsequently, an amino acid, carbomer (Carbopol 941), an emulsifier, a preservative, a metal ion chelating agent, and a fragrance were further added and stirred to prepare a liquid cosmetic composition. A mixture of glycine and lysine was used as the amino acid, and polysorbate 80 was used as the emulsifier. Chlorphenesin was used as the preservative, and disodium EDTA was used as the metal ion chelating agent. The first to fourth mixtures are as follows.

[0161] < Test Example 2 > : Moisturizing Properties Evaluation

[0162] The cosmetic compositions according to each of the above Examples 1 to 3 and Comparative Examples 1 to 2 were applied to the wrists of test subjects (women in their 30s), and the moisture content of the stratum corneum was measured over time. (For each composition, 5 test subjects were selected as the test group for application.) The moisture content of the stratum corneum was measured using a Corneometer (German product), a device for measuring moisture content within the stratum corneum, by repeating the measurement three times before application and at 30 minutes, 2 hours, and 4 hours after application, and calculating the average value. The results are shown in [Table 4] below. The measured values are expressed in arbitrary units (au). In addition, the percentage increase in moisture content at each time point was calculated according to the following Equation 2, and the results are shown in [Table 5].

[0164] [Mathematical Formula 2]

[0165] Moisture content increase rate (%) = (W2 - W1) / W1 x 100

[0166] In the above mathematical formula 2,

[0167] W1: Moisture content before application, and

[0168] W2: This is the moisture content at the time of measurement.

[0170] < Change in Stratum Corneum Moisture Content (Unit: au, Mean ± Standard Deviation) > item Before application 30 minutes after application 2 hours after application 4 hours after application Example 1 35.6 ± 2.2 55.6 ± 3.1 52.4 ± 3.0 48.6 ± 2.6 Example 2 35.1 ± 2.0 54.8 ± 3.0 48.1 ± 3.1 45.3 ± 2.8 Example 3 35.2 ± 2.0 54.8 ± 2.6 53.2 ± 2.4 51.5 ± 2.8 Comparative Example 1 35.4 ± 2.3 56.4 ± 3.4 50.5 ± 3.0 47.7 ± 2.5 Comparative Example 2 35.7 ± 2.1 41.6 ± 2.8 38.9 ± 2.5 37.1 ± 2.6

[0174] As shown in [Table 4] and [Table 5] above, the cosmetic compositions according to the examples showed higher moisture content and moisture content growth rate at 30 minutes after application compared to the comparative examples, and maintained high moisture content even after 2 and 4 hours. When comparing the examples, it was found that Example 1 maintained a higher moisture content after 4 hours than Example 2, and the cosmetic composition of Example 3 maintained the highest moisture content.

[0176] < Test Example 3 > : Evaluation of Wrinkle Improvement Ability

[0177] The cosmetic compositions according to Examples 1 and 2 and Comparative Example 1 were applied to a test subject (a woman in her 40s) twice a day (morning and evening) for 8 weeks. (10 test subjects were selected as the test group for each composition.) Wrinkle parameters were measured using a skin wrinkle analyzer (Visiometer) on the test area before use and after 8 weeks of use. The measured parameters were skin roughness (R1), maximum roughness (R2), and average roughness (R3), and each measurement value was calculated as the average value after 3 repeated measurements. The wrinkle improvement rate (%) after 8 weeks was calculated according to the following Equation 3, and the results are shown in [Table 6] below.

[0179] [Mathematical Formula 3]

[0180] Wrinkle improvement rate (%) = (R i - R o ) / R i x 100

[0181] In the above mathematical formula 3,

[0182] R i : This is the measurement value before use, and

[0183] R o : This is the measurement after 8 weeks of use.

[0185] < Test Example 4 > : Evaluation of Skin Conditioning and User Sensibility

[0186] After having subjects (women in their 30s) use the cosmetic compositions according to Examples 1 and 2 and Comparative Example 1 for 2 weeks, a subjective evaluation of skin conditioning and user experience was conducted. (For each composition, 10 subjects were selected as the test group and the composition was applied to the face.) The evaluation was conducted using a 5-point Likert scale (1 point: very poor, 5 points: very good), and a survey was administered regarding skin moisture, skin softness, stickiness, and overall satisfaction. The results are shown in [Table 7] below. Regarding stickiness in the survey items, a higher score was assigned the closer it was to "less sticky."

[0188] < Wrinkle Improvement Rate After 8 Weeks (Unit: %, Average) > item R1 improvement rate R2 improvement rate R3 improvement rate Example 1 15.4 15.3 14.9 Example 2 10.2 9.7 9.1 Comparative Example 1 4.8 4.7 4.2
