Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a burning tip of a burning machine (or an engraving machine or a soldering iron), and more specifically, to a pen tip for a wood burning machine that can maximize the heat transfer effect. Background Technology

[0002] Generally, a burning device is used to engrave images or text on wood, leather, or paper by applying heat to a burning tip and utilizing the heat intensity and contact area. As shown in the attached FIG. 1, it includes a main body (1) equipped with a power cord to receive power from an external source, a burning pen (2) that is detachably connected to the main body (1) and serves as a handle, and a burning tip assembly (3) that is configured to be replaceable at the end of the burning pen (2) and is heated by receiving power from the main body (1). Such a burning device is disclosed in registered patent publications No. 10-1815418, No. 10-1850059, and No. 10-2261538.

[0003] And, as shown in the attached FIG. 1, the burning tip assembly (3) includes a tip body (3a) that is attached to the burning pen (2) and is electrically connected to the burning pen (2), a plurality of electrode terminals (3b) coupled to the tip body (3a), and an engraving tip (3c) that is heated by power supplied while connected to the plurality of electrode terminals (3b) to engrave a picture or text on wood, leather, or paper, etc., and the engraving tip (3c) can be configured in various shapes as shown in the attached FIG. 2.

[0004] However, since the engraving tip (3c) included in the burning tip assembly (3) is directly connected to the electrode terminal (3b) and is exposed to the outside to engrave pictures or text on wood, leather, or paper, there was difficulty in controlling the temperature of the heated engraving tip (3c).

[0005] In the past, the temperature of the engraving tip (3c) was controlled by applying a temperature sensor and a temperature controller, but since the engraving tip (3c) is heated by receiving power directly from the electrode terminal (3b), problems such as the wood, leather, or paper burning occurred when the engraving tip (3c) came into contact with wood, leather, or paper to engrave pictures or text, making precise engraving work difficult, and there was also a problem of excessive power consumption.

[0006] Meanwhile, since the engraving operation is performed with the engraving tip (3c) exposed to the outside, there was always a risk of burns when the engraving tip (3c) was heated due to the worker's safety negligence. Prior art literature

[0023] The detailed description of the invention refers to the accompanying drawings, which illustrate specific embodiments in which the invention may be practiced. These embodiments are described in sufficient detail to enable those skilled in the art to practice the invention. It should be understood that various embodiments of the invention are different but need not be mutually exclusive. For example, specific shapes, structures, and characteristics described herein may be implemented in other embodiments without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention in relation to one embodiment. It should also be understood that the location or arrangement of individual components within each disclosed embodiment may be changed without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, the following detailed description is not intended to be limiting, and the scope of the invention is limited only by the appended claims, including all equivalents to those claimed therein, provided appropriately described. Similar reference numerals in the drawings refer to the same or similar functions across various aspects.

[0024] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the attached drawings.

[0025] FIG. 3 is an assembled perspective view of a burning tip assembly to which a tip portion having a triangular engraved tip is applied as an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 4 is an exploded perspective view showing a heating portion connected to a plurality of electrode terminals and a tip portion having a triangular engraved tip separated as an embodiment of the present invention.

[0026] Referring to the attached FIG. 3 and FIG. 4, the burning tip assembly of a burning machine according to an embodiment of the present invention is configured to be replaceably coupled to the end of a burning pen (2) which serves as a handle and is detachably connected to a main body (1) that receives power from the outside as in the attached FIG. 1, so as to be heated to imprint a picture or text on wood, leather, or paper, and comprises a plurality of electrode terminals (10), a heating part (20), and a tip part (30).

[0027] The above electrode terminals (10) are electrically connected by being interchangeably coupled to the burning pen (2) as a plurality of lines.

[0028] Here, although it has been described that the electrode terminal (10) is directly and interchangeably coupled to the burning pen (2), the electrode terminal (10) may be coupled to the tip body (3a) of the attached FIG. 1 having an electrical connection part, and the tip body (3a) may be interchangeably coupled to the end of the burning pen (2).

[0029] The heating unit (20) is connected to both ends of the plurality of electrode terminals (10) and generates heat by the current flowing when power is supplied through the electrode terminals (10). It includes a heating wire (21) with both ends connected to the plurality of electrode terminals (10), and a heating plate (22) formed at the center of the heating wire (21).

[0030] Here, the heating plate (22) can be formed by forming the center of the heating wire (21) into a plate shape using pressure molding of a molding machine, or by integrating a plate structure with the heating wire (21) by means such as welding, and accordingly, the heat generated on the surface of the heating wire (21) and the heating plate (22) can be rapidly transferred to the tip portion (30).

[0031] The tip portion (30) wraps around the heating wire (21) and the heating plate (22) forming the heating portion (20) and rapidly receives heat generated from the heating wire (21) and the heating plate (22) to engrave a picture or text on wood, leather, or paper. This is a structure in which a first plate (31) and a second plate (32) made of a metal material (e.g., silver, copper, nickel, etc.) are folded around a folding portion (33).

[0032] Here, a hole (33a) through which the heating wire (21) passes may be formed in the folding portion (33), but one side of the hole (33a) is opened to guide the heating wire (21) to be seated through the opening, and the heating plate (22) is positioned between the first and second plates (31, 32).

[0033] Meanwhile, the first plate (31) has a first length and the second plate (32) has a second length longer than the first length, so that the second plate (32) can imprint a picture or text on wood, leather, or paper by heat conducted. Accordingly, a triangular imprinting tip (32a) may be formed at the end of the second plate (32), or a round imprinting tip (32a') as shown in the attached Fig. 6, or an angular imprinting tip (32a") as shown in the attached Fig. 7.

[0034] Accordingly, the burning tip assembly of the burning machine according to an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in the attached FIG. 1 as well as FIG. 3 and FIG. 4, first connects the main body (1) to an external power source using a power cord, and then connects the connecting wire of the burning pen (2) to the connecting part provided on the main body (1), and connects the burning tip assembly to the connecting part of the burning pen (2) according to the expression technique to be expressed through the burning operation, the burning tip assembly including an electrode terminal (10), a heating part (20), a tip part (30) having a triangular engraving tip (32a) and / or a tip body (3a), or as shown in the attached FIG. 6, a burning tip assembly including an electrode terminal (10), a heating part (20), a tip part (30) having a round engraving tip (32a'), and / or a tip body (3a), or as shown in the attached FIG. 7, a tip part having an electrode terminal (10), a heating part (20), and a square engraving tip (32a'). A burning tip assembly including a tip portion (30) and / or a tip body (3a) is connected.

[0035] Afterwards, when power is applied from the main body (1) to the heating part (20) included in the burning tip assembly through the electrode terminal (10) by operating the switch provided in the burning pen (2), the heating wire (21) and heating plate (22) forming the heating part (20) generate heat according to the flow of current, and the heat generated from the heating wire (21) and the heating plate (22) is transferred to the first and second plates (31, 32) that are folded by the folding part (33) forming the tip part (30), and the surface of the first and second plates (31, 32) is heated to a predetermined temperature by the transferred heat.

[0036] Accordingly, the user can engrave a picture or text by contacting a triangular engraving tip (32a), a round engraving tip (32a'), or a square engraving tip (32a") formed at the end of the second plate (32) having a second length with wood, leather, or paper.

[0037] Meanwhile, the second plate (32) having the engraving tip (32a or 32a' or 32a"), as well as the first plate (31) which forms an overlapping structure with the second plate (32) through the folding part (33), block the inflow of current flowing through the heating wire (21) and the heating plate (22), but the heat radiated from the heating wire (21) and the heating plate (22) is transferred according to the flow of current, thereby indirectly raising the temperature, so the problem of the engraving work becoming defective due to excessive heat during the engraving work of the operator can be improved.

[0038] That is, power is supplied from the main body of the burning machine to the burning tip assembly through the burning pen, and current flows through the heating wire (21) and heating plate (22) included in the heating part (20). When heat is generated and released according to this current flow, the released heat is transferred to the first and second plates (31, 32) forming the tip part (30), thereby raising the surface temperature of the first and second plates (31, 32). Therefore, even if the engraving tip (32a or 32a' or 32a") formed at the end of the second plate (32) comes into contact with the surface of wood, leather, or paper, problems such as the wood, leather, or paper burning from the contact can be prevented. Furthermore, precise engraving work becomes possible, allowing for increased completeness of the work through rich expressiveness, and the problem of excessive power consumption can be improved.

[0039] Meanwhile, the attached FIG. 5 illustrates another embodiment of the present invention in which a tip portion (30) having a triangular engraved tip (32a) made of a flame-retardant material or glass fiber coated with a heat-conducting layer (50) surrounds a heating portion (20). In the following, parts identical to those in the attached FIG. 1, as well as the attached FIG. 3 and FIG. 4 which are embodiments of the present invention, are indicated by the same reference numerals, and redundant descriptions thereof will be omitted.

[0040] That is, another embodiment of the present invention is to form the first and second plates (31, 32) and the folding portion (33) forming the tip portion (30) into a foldable plate-shaped structure made of a flame-retardant material or glass fiber, and then form the heat conductive layer (50) on the surface thereof.

[0041] At this time, the thermal conductive layer (50) may be a conductive metal particle, a room temperature moisture-curing silicone resin component, and an organic solvent as the main components, and may be a thermally conductive silicone containing a carbon component, or a graphene plate in the form of a powder compounded and applied.

[0042] Here, the graphene plate is a conventional material known to have a large surface area, excellent electrical conductivity and mechanical flexibility and high thermal / chemical stability, and the grain size may be 0.1 to 100 μm. When this is applied to the surface of the first and second plates (31, 32), the heat generated from the heating unit (20) can be transferred quickly, thereby saving power consumption during the engraving process and improving the surface heating characteristics of the first and second plates (31, 32).

[0043] Although the technical concept of the burning tip assembly of the burning machine of the present invention has been described above together with the attached drawings, this is merely an illustrative description of the best embodiment of the present invention and is not intended to limit the present invention.

[0044] Accordingly, the present invention is not limited to the specific preferred embodiments described above, and anyone with ordinary knowledge in the art to which the invention pertains can make various modifications without departing from the essence of the invention as claimed in the claims, and such modifications will be within the scope of the claims.
