Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to an oil-dispersed cosmetic composition, and more specifically, to an oil-dispersed makeup cosmetic composition capable of coloring in various colors. Background Technology

[0002] There have been efforts to provide compositions capable of coloring like lip tints by applying water-soluble dyes to conventional oil-dispersed makeup cosmetic compositions. Accordingly, compositions capable of coloring were provided by applying red dyes, but there was a limitation in that coloring was only possible in pink. In addition, when water-soluble dyes are applied directly to oil-dispersed formulations, there are problems with formulation stability and low pigment dispersibility. To overcome this, when water-soluble dyes are dissolved in purified water for application, there are limitations such as restrictions on container usage, requiring the use of airtight containers, and issues such as weight loss occur.

[0003] Therefore, there is a need to develop an oil-dispersed makeup cosmetic composition that does not use purified water, enables coloring in various colors, and has excellent formulation stability and dispersibility. Prior art literature

[0016] The present invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to examples. However, these examples are intended to illustrate the invention and should not be interpreted as limiting the scope of the invention.

[0017] According to one aspect of the present invention, the present invention provides an oil-dispersed cosmetic composition comprising a polyol, a water-soluble dye, a first dispersant, and a second dispersant.

[0018] The above oil-dispersed cosmetic composition may further include oil, wax, emulsifier and / or oil-soluble pigment.

[0019] The cosmetic composition of the present invention may not contain water. The term "not containing" means "substantially not containing," where "substantially" means that it may contain up to 3% by weight of the total weight of the composition. For example, the content of "not containing" may be 3% by weight, 2.5% by weight, 2% by weight, 1.5% by weight, 1% by weight, 0.7% by weight, 0.5% by weight, 0.3% by weight, 0.1% by weight, 0.06% by weight, 0.03% by weight, or 0.01% by weight or less. When water is included in an oil-dispersed formulation, water evaporates, so a container with an airtight function must be used in a limited manner, and there is a problem with a short shelf life.

[0020] Another aspect of the present invention provides a method for preparing an oil-dispersed cosmetic composition.

[0021] The above manufacturing method comprises the steps of: preparing an oil phase comprising oil, wax, a first dispersant, a second dispersant, and an emulsifier (S1); mixing a useful pigment into the oil phase of step (S1) (S2); preparing a polyol phase comprising a polyol and a water-soluble dye (S3); and mixing the polyol phase of step (S3) into the mixture of step (S2) (S4).

[0022] The above polyol phase preparation step (S3) can be performed at a temperature of 60 to 90 ℃. In the present invention, the above step (S3) can be performed at 60 ℃ or higher, 62 ℃ or higher, 64 ℃ or higher, 66 ℃ or higher, or 68 ℃ or higher, and can be performed at 90 ℃ or lower, 85 ℃ or lower, 80 ℃ or lower, 78 ℃ or lower, 76 ℃ or lower, 74 ℃ or lower, or 72 ℃ or lower. If the above step (S3) is performed at less than 60 ℃, there is a problem that the water-soluble dye is not completely dissolved, and there is a difficulty in uniformly adjusting the temperature when mixing with the oil phase prepared at 70 to 90 ℃. If the above step (S3) is performed at more than 90 ℃, there is a problem that the water-soluble dye may burn and the polyol volatilizes.

[0023] A. Polyol

[0024] The cosmetic composition of the present invention comprises a polyol. In the present invention, the polyol dissolves water-soluble dyes instead of water (purified water), thereby enabling the dispersion of various colored water-soluble dyes in an oil phase, and provides a high effect in moisturizing and supplying moisture to the lips and skin.

[0025] The above polyol may be one or more selected from the group consisting of glycerin, butylene glycol, and diglycerin, and it is preferable that it be five or more polyols.

[0026] In the present invention, the polyol may be included in an amount of 2 to 10 weight% based on the total weight of the composition. In the present invention, the polyol may be 2 weight% or more, 2.5 weight% or more, 3 weight% or more, 3.5 weight% or more, 4 weight% or more, 4.5 weight% or more, 5 weight% or more, or 5.5 weight% or more, and may be 10 weight% or less, 9 weight% or less, 8 weight% or less, 7.5 weight% or less, 7 weight% or less, 6.5 weight% or less, or 6 weight% or less. In the present invention, if the polyol content is less than the above amount, there is a problem that the amount of water-soluble dye that can be dissolved is small, making it impossible to disperse sufficient pigment, and if the content exceeds the above amount, there is a problem that the dispersibility is poor.

[0027] B. Water-soluble dyes

[0028] The cosmetic composition of the present invention comprises a water-soluble dye. In the present invention, the water-soluble dye refers to a substance that can be dispersed in an aqueous phase and can color the skin.

[0029] The above water-soluble dye may include one or more selected from the group consisting of Red 102-1, Red 104-1, Yellow 203, Yellow 4, Yellow 5, Red 103, Red 201, Red 202, Red 218, Red 223, Red 226, Red 227, Blue 1, and natural pigments, but is not limited thereto.

[0030] In the present invention, the water-soluble dye may be included in an amount of 0.05 to 1 weight% based on the total weight of the composition. In the present invention, the water-soluble dye may be 0.05 weight% or more, 0.1 weight% or more, 0.2 weight% or more, 0.3 weight% or more, 0.4 weight% or more, or 0.5 weight% or more, and may be 1 weight% or less, 0.9 weight% or less, 0.8 weight% or less, 0.7 weight% or less, 0.6 weight% or less, or 0.5 weight% or less. In the present invention, if the water-soluble dye is less than the above content, the coloring power is low, so a sufficient coloring (tint) effect cannot be provided, and if the content exceeds the above content, there is a problem of reduced formulation stability and dispersibility.

[0031] C. First Dispersant

[0032] The cosmetic composition of the present invention comprises a first dispersant. In the present invention, the first dispersant influences the formation and maintenance of the sheer-thinning viscosity of the composition, helps ensure that polyol particles are uniformly dispersed within the formulation even when stationary in the liquid phase, and improves the stability of the formulation. By using a second dispersant that aids in the mixing and dispersion of pigment-polyol particles into the oil phase together with a first dispersant that aids in maintaining the mixing and dispersion, the composition of the present invention not only exhibits excellent dispersibility during manufacturing but also maintains the stability of the formulation.

[0033] The first dispersant may include one or more selected from the group consisting of disteadiamonium hectorite, quaternium-18 hectorite and hectorite, stearalkonium hectorite, bentonite, quaternium-90 bentonite, stearalkonium bentonite, and quaternium-18 bentonite, and it is most preferable to use disteadiamonium hectorite.

[0034] In the present invention, the first dispersant may be included in an amount of 0.1 to 7 weight% based on the total weight of the composition. In the present invention, the first dispersant may be 0.1 weight% or more, 0.5 weight% or more, 1 weight% or more, 1.5 weight% or more, 2 weight% or more, 2.5 weight% or more, or 3 weight% or more, and may be 7 weight% or less, 6 weight% or less, 5 weight% or less, 4 weight%, or 3 weight% or less. In the present invention, if the first dispersant is less than the above amount, a phenomenon occurs where the pigment clumps or pigment bands are visible on the appearance, and there is a problem of low stick stability; if the above amount is more than, the viscosity of the composition is high, and there is a problem of difficulty in uniform filling.

[0035] D. Second Dispersant

[0036] The cosmetic composition of the present invention comprises a second dispersant. In the present invention, the second dispersant improves the dispersion and mixability of pigment particles in the oil phase and lowers the pigment dispersion viscosity, thereby providing uniform and easy dispersibility.

[0037] The second dispersant may include one or more selected from the group consisting of polyhydroxystearic acid, lecithin, ethylhexyl palmitate, isostearic acid, isopropyl myristate, and polyglyceryl-3 polyricinoleate.

[0038] In the present invention, the second dispersant may be included in an amount of 0.1 to 5 weight% based on the total weight of the composition. In the present invention, the second dispersant may be 0.1 weight% or more, 0.5 weight% or more, 1 weight% or more, 1.5 weight% or more, 2 weight% or more, 2.5 weight% or more, or 3 weight% or more, and may be 5 weight% or less, 4.5 weight% or less, 4 weight% or less, 3.5 weight% or less, or 3 weight% or less. In the present invention, if the amount of the second dispersant is less than the above amount, the dispersion of water-soluble dyes and oil-soluble pigments is not well achieved, resulting in a problem where the pigments are not uniform in appearance; if the amount exceeds the above amount, the effect of improving pigment dispersibility is negligible, and there is a problem where the viscosity and hardness of the composition decrease.

[0039] E. Oil

[0040] The cosmetic composition of the present invention comprises oil. Any oil known in the field may be used as the oil, for example, one or more selected from the group consisting of hydrocarbon oils, ester oils, silicone oils, higher fatty acids and / or fatty alcohols, animal oils, vegetable oils, and mineral oils, and it is most preferable to include one or more selected from the group consisting of silicone oils, ester oils, and mixtures thereof.

[0041] The content of the above oil may be the remainder satisfying 100 weight% of the composition, and may include, for example, 5 to 80 weight% based on the total amount of the composition, or, as another example, 15 to 80 weight%, 15 to 70 weight%, 25 to 70 weight%, or 35 to 70 weight%.

[0042] F. Wax

[0043] The cosmetic composition of the present invention may include a wax. The wax may be any wax known in the field, and may include, for example, one or more selected from the group consisting of synthetic wax, microstalin wax, ceresin, tribehenin, polyethylene, rice bran wax, sunflower seed wax, silicone-based waxes such as alkyl-modified silicone, candelilla wax, carnauba wax, and mixtures thereof.

[0044] In the present invention, the wax may be included in an amount of 1 to 20 weight percent based on the total weight of the composition. In the present invention, if the wax content is less than the above amount, hardness is not formed, resulting in a problem of poor moldability and appearance as a solid stick, and if the content exceeds the above amount, there are difficulties in mixing the wax and forming the stick during manufacturing, and problems such as poor payoff (spreadability) of the composition and a tendency to break when used.

[0045] G. Emulsifier

[0046] The cosmetic composition of the present invention may include an emulsifier. In the present invention, the emulsifier lowers the surface tension to allow the polyol phase and the oil phase to be mixed, thereby aiding in the mixing of the polyol phase containing a water-soluble dye and the oil phase containing oil and wax.

[0047] It is preferable to use an emulsifier with a low proportion of hydrophilic portion, that is, a low HLB (Hydrophile-Lipophile Balance) value, and, for example, may include one or more selected from the group consisting of cetyl PEG / PPG-10 / 1 dimethicone, lauryl PEG-9 polydimethylsiloxyethyl dimethicone, PEG-10 dimethicone, sorbitan isostearate, PEG-30 dipolyhydroxystearate, sorbitan oliveate, sorbitan sesquioleate, and polyglyceryl-4 isostearate.

[0048] In the present invention, the emulsifier may be included in an amount of 0.5 to 10 weight% based on the total weight of the composition. In the present invention, if the emulsifier is less than the above amount, there is a problem of low formulation stability, such as separation of the polyol phase and the oil phase due to poor mixing, and if the above amount is more than the above amount, there is a problem of reduced moldability due to increased viscosity and a heavy feel during use.

[0049] H. Oil-soluble pigments

[0050] The cosmetic composition of the present invention may include oil-soluble pigments. In the present invention, the oil-soluble pigment may be dispersed in an oil phase and is used to indicate color; any pigment known in the field may be used, and inorganic pigments, organic pigments, or combinations thereof may be used. .

[0051] In the present invention, the oil-soluble pigment may be included in an amount of 0.1 to 15 weight% based on the total weight of the composition. In the present invention, if the oil-soluble pigment is less than the above amount, there is a problem of low appearance color development, and if the above amount is more than the above amount, there is a problem of reduced formulation stability, increased viscosity, or reduced pigment dispersibility.

[0052] I. Other Additives

[0053] Meanwhile, the cosmetic composition of the present invention may further include additives commonly used in the technical field to which the present invention belongs, depending on the use, within a range that does not impede the purpose and effect of the present invention, and preferably may include at least one selected from the group consisting of pearl, extender pigment, powder, fragrance, sunscreen, moisturizer, thickener, antioxidant, preservative, and preservative, but is not limited thereto.

[0054] In the present invention, the aforementioned other additives may be contained in an amount of 0.1 to 20 weight percent.

[0056] Hereinafter, preferred embodiments are described to explain the present invention in more detail. However, the following embodiments are described solely for the purpose of illustrating the present invention and are not intended to limit the present invention.

[0058] <Preparation Example 1 of a Cosmetic Composition>

[0059] An oil-dispersed cosmetic composition was prepared according to the composition (weight%) of Table 1 below.

[0060]

[0061] Specifically, according to the composition of Table 1 above, the oil phase was weighed and heated to 85°C to melt it, an oil-soluble pigment was added, and then the mixture was uniformly mixed using a homo mixer at 2500 rpm for 10 minutes. The polyol phase was mixed using an azi mixer at 70°C, then the polyol phase was added to the mixture of the oil-soluble pigment and the oil phase, and the mixture was mixed using a homo mixer at 80°C at 3500 rpm for 10 minutes. Next, after degassing, the mixture was reheated to 83°C, filled into a lipstick mold, and cooled to prepare a stick-type oil-dispersed cosmetic composition.

[0062] Pigment dispersibility and formulation stability tests

[0063] Pigment dispersibility and formulation stability tests were performed on the compositions of the examples and comparative examples.

[0064] The pigment dispersibility test was performed by visually observing the dispersion state of the pigment before molding each composition prepared in Example 1 and Comparative Examples 1 to 4 into a stick, and the formulation stability test was performed by visually observing the appearance of the lipstick after molding each composition into a stick.

[0065] Figure 1 shows the dispersion state of the pigment and the appearance of the lipstick as a result of the above test.

[0066] As shown in Figure 1, Example 1 was found to have a uniformly dispersed color overall and a stable stick formulation. On the other hand, Comparative Example 1, which had a high content of the first dispersant, had high viscosity and poor stick moldability. In addition, Comparative Example 2, which did not contain the first dispersant, showed poor dispersion, such as the observation of pigment bands, and low stability was observed, as evidenced by the sweating phenomenon between the water-soluble dye and oil in the appearance of the stick. Comparative Example 3, which had a high content of the second dispersant, was observed to have low viscosity and hardness, and Comparative Example 4, which did not contain the second dispersant, was found to have non-uniform pigment because the polyol phase containing the water-soluble dye was not well mixed with the oil phase.

[0067] From the pigment dispersibility and formulation stability tests, it was confirmed that the oil-dispersed cosmetic composition of the present invention exhibits excellent dispersibility of water-soluble dyes and stability of the stick formulation.

[0069] <Preparation Example 2 of a Cosmetic Composition>

[0070] An oil-dispersed cosmetic composition was prepared according to the composition (weight%) of Table 2 below. The specific preparation method is the same as Preparation Example 1.

[0071]

[0072] Pigment dispersibility and formulation stability tests

[0073] Pigment dispersibility and formulation stability tests were performed on the compositions of the examples and comparative examples.

[0074] The pigment dispersibility test was performed by visually observing the dispersion state of the pigment before molding each composition prepared in Example 1, Comparative Examples 5 and 6 into a stick, and the formulation stability test was performed by visually observing the appearance of the lipstick after molding each composition into a stick.

[0075] Figure 2 shows the dispersion state of the pigment and the appearance of the lipstick as a result of the above test.

[0076] As shown in Figure 2, Example 1 had a uniform color overall. On the other hand, Comparative Example 5, which had a high polyol content, showed poor dispersion and separation, and Comparative Example 6, which did not contain polyol, was observed to have water-soluble dyes that were not dissolved and were dispersed in powder form.

[0077] From the pigment dispersibility and formulation stability tests, it was confirmed that the oil-dispersible cosmetic composition of the present invention contains 2 to 10 weight% of polyol, thereby exhibiting excellent dispersibility of water-soluble dyes and stability of the stick formulation.

[0078] Coloration test

[0079] Coloration tests were performed on the compositions of the examples and comparative examples.

[0080] The color test was performed by applying each composition prepared in Example 1, Comparative Examples 5 and 6 to the inner side of the forearm, wiping it off with a wet tissue, and then visually observing whether it was colored.

[0081] Figure 3 shows the results of observing the test area (inner forearm) based on the above test results.

[0082] As shown in Figure 3, it was confirmed that the colors of Example 1 and Comparative Example 5 persisted even after being wiped with a wet tissue, whereas the color of Comparative Example 6 was not uniform and hardly remained.

[0083] From the coloring test, it can be seen that the oil-dispersed cosmetic composition of the present invention has a coloring effect and can be colored in various colors.

[0084] Moisture improvement effect test

[0085] A test of the moisturizing improvement effect was performed on the compositions of the examples and comparative examples.

[0086] The moisturizing improvement effect test was performed by applying each composition prepared in Example 1 and Comparative Example 7 to a test area (inner forearm) and measuring the skin moisture level before and immediately after application using Epsilon (BiOX, England).

[0087] Figure 4 shows the skin moisture level as an image based on the above test results.

[0088] As shown in Figure 4, it was confirmed that the skin moisture level in Example 1 increased significantly after application compared to before application, whereas in Comparative Example 7, the skin moisture level actually decreased after application.

[0089] It can be seen from the moisturizing improvement effect test that the oil-dispersed cosmetic composition of the present invention provides a moisturizing improvement effect.

[0091] <Preparation Example 3 of a Cosmetic Composition>

[0092] An oil-dispersed cosmetic composition was prepared according to the composition (weight%) of Table 3 below. The specific preparation method is the same as Preparation Example 1.

[0093]

[0094] Coloration test

[0095] A coloring test was performed on the composition of the example.

[0096] The coloring test was performed by applying each composition prepared in Examples 2 to 4 to the inner side of the forearm, wiping it off with a wet tissue, and then visually observing whether coloring occurred and the coloring color.

[0097] Figure 5 shows the results of observing the test area (inner forearm) based on the above test results.

[0098] As shown in Figure 5, Examples 2 to 4 were colored red, pink, and orange, respectively, and it was confirmed that the color persisted even after being wiped with a wet tissue.

[0099] From the coloring test, it can be seen that the oil-dispersed cosmetic composition of the present invention has a coloring effect and can be colored in various colors.

[0101] <Experiment Comparative Study of Dye Solubility According to Polyol Phase Preparation Temperature>

[0102] In order to compare the degree to which the dye is dissolved in the polyol phase and the degree to which it is dispersed in the composition according to the temperature at which the polyol phase preparation step (S3) is performed in the manufacturing method of the present invention, a dye solubility comparison experiment was performed.

[0103] The dye solubility comparison experiment was conducted by preparing polyol phases at different temperatures, visually observing the state in which water-soluble dyes were dissolved in the polyol phases, and confirming the dispersion of the dyes during the process of preparing compositions by adding the prepared polyol phases.

[0104] Specifically, for the preparation of the polyol phase, glycerin, butylene glycol, and a water-soluble dye were weighed in a weight ratio of 4:3:0.4, and then mixed using an azimixer at 70°C for the experimental example and 50°C for the comparative example.

[0105] Figures 6 (a) and (b) show the appearance of the polyol phase as a result of the experiment, and (c) shows the result of confirming that the dye remains undispersed when preparing the composition.

[0106] As shown in Fig. 6, the experimental example was found to have a clean dissolved state (Fig. 6(a)). On the other hand, in the comparative example prepared at a low temperature, the water-soluble dye was observed to be in a clumped powder form without being completely dissolved (Fig. 6(b)).

[0107] In addition, during the process of preparing the composition by adding the comparative example, it was confirmed that the dye remained in a clumped form in the homo mixer used for mixing the oil-soluble dye, the oil phase, and the comparative example (polyol phase) (Fig. 6(c)).

[0108] From FIG. 6, it can be seen that the manufacturing method of the present invention increases the solubility of water-soluble dyes and improves dispersibility in oil-dispersed cosmetic compositions by performing the polyol phase manufacturing step (S3) at a temperature of 60 to 90 ℃.
