[0009] Korean Registered Patent No. 10-2185763 (November 26, 2020), "Method for manufacturing a head for a skin stimulator equipped with micro-needles," discloses a skin stimulator equipped with micro-needles for cosmetic absorption.
[0010] However, the aforementioned prior art inventions only present mechanical configurations for delivering cosmetics or drugs to the skin using micro-needles, and fail to provide a piston structure for stably inhaling and discharging a small amount of contents (0.055cc to 0.065cc or less per use) in an environment where the device is used at an angle, or improvements to the shape and material of the wing portion to secure sufficient negative pressure when the piston returns. Furthermore, they fail to resolve issues such as flow rate non-uniformity due to the bias of the flow path structure, structural limitations preventing the placement of needles at the edges of the needle plate to prevent leakage, and instability in the discharge direction caused by the shaped pyramid tip structure, resulting in reduced efficiency during actual use. The problem to be solved
[0011] The present invention aims to improve the problem in which the contents within the receiving portion are not sufficiently submerged in the cylinder inlet in a tilted or inverted usage environment, resulting in poor suction, and in particular in a small volume discharge structure with a discharge volume of 0.055cc to 0.065cc or less, the negative pressure required for piston return is not properly formed, thereby reducing the stability of fluid transfer.
[0012] The present invention aims to solve the problems associated with conventional piston parts, such as reduced piston return force and uneven discharge caused by stick-slip due to excessive interference with the inner wall of the housing caused by the upper and lower wings being thick and wide; the problem of inability to supply a uniform flow rate to the entire micro-needle plate due to the flow path structure causing deflection and collision; and structural constraints that make it difficult to place needles at the corners or edges of the needle plate due to concerns about leakage.
[0013] The present invention aims to solve the problem in which the penetration power and spray uniformity are reduced due to the fluid discharge direction at the tip of the micro-needle shaking or being deflected.
[0015] To solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides a micro-needle pump assembly capable of simultaneously achieving optimization of the flow path structure, quantitative control of piston operation, prevention of leakage, and ensuring stability for repeated use.
[0016] Specifically, the present invention provides a micro-needle type pump assembly that forms an X-shaped cross-channel structure so that the fluid flow does not collide or stagnate, thereby maintaining a uniform flow rate during injection and achieving homogeneous discharge injection across the entire micro-needle area.
[0017] In addition, the present invention provides a micro-needle type pump assembly that enhances precise injection control and product reliability by securing a constant discharge amount each time through a quantitative control type piston part that limits the travel distance and operating pressure of the piston.
[0018] In addition, the present invention provides a micro needle type pump assembly capable of stable pumping even during repeated use by including a 4-hole ventilation structure that prevents leakage and backflow by improving the sealing and ventilation parts, and automatically restores internal pressure even if the air holes are blocked by a finger.
[0019] Finally, the present invention provides a micro-needle type pump assembly capable of achieving continuous, quantitative, and uniform injection functions by adopting a triangular cross-section insoluble micro-needle structure to minimize penetration resistance and overcome the durability limitations of soluble needles. means of solving the problem
[0020] To achieve the above objective, the microneedle type pump assembly of the present invention comprises:
[0021] A receiving portion for receiving cosmetics;
[0022] A piston part coupled to the above-mentioned receiving part and discharging cosmetics to the outside;
[0023] A fluid passage connected to the upper part of the piston section and distributing the fluid flow in an X-shape;
[0024] A needle plate positioned at the top of the above-mentioned Euro section and supporting a plurality of micro-needles;
[0025] A micro-needle portion formed on the above-mentioned needle plate and including an irregular pyramid-shaped tip at the top of each micro-needle; and
[0026] It is configured to include a plate-shaped skin contact portion having a plurality of through holes formed to allow the micro-needles to pass through. Effects of the invention
[0027] The present invention solves the problem of contents not coming out well in a small volume dispensing structure with a discharge amount of 0.055cc to 0.065cc or less, and resolves the conventional problem of poor suction caused by the cylinder inlet not being submerged in contents even when the container is tilted or the remaining amount of contents is small.
[0028] The present invention ensures uniformity of injection through each micro needle (151) by forming an X-shaped multi-point flow path (132) in the Euro section (130), thereby supplying the same pressure and flow rate to the entire area of the needle plate (140).
[0029] Unlike conventional inventions in which it was difficult to install needles at the corners or edges of the needle plate (140) due to concerns about leakage, the present invention prevents leakage through an X-shaped flow path structure and negative pressure stability, thereby allowing micro-needles to be placed on the entire surface of the needle plate without any gaps, and accordingly, the spraying efficiency and skin contact area are greatly improved with increasing the number of needles relative to the same area.
[0030] The present invention improves the skin suction power of the composition by applying an amorphous pyramid-shaped tip (152) to the micro needle, thereby stably guiding the discharged fluid toward the apex and reducing deflection or shaking when inserting the needle. [0035] The present invention relates to a micro-needle type pump assembly (100).
[0036] The present invention relates to a micro-needle type pump assembly (100) for applying or penetrating a cosmetic composition into the skin through micro-needles.
[0037] The above micro-needle type pump assembly (100) is configured to include a receiving portion (110), a piston portion (120), a flow path portion (130), a needle plate (140), a micro-needle portion (150), and a skin contact portion (160).
[0038] The above-mentioned receiving portion (110) is a container housing in which a cosmetic composition is stored, and is configured such that a piston portion (120) is inserted and coupled at the top and the bottom is sealed to stably store the contents.
[0039] The above-mentioned receiving portion (110) has an internal space for storing a cosmetic composition and is formed to be coupled with a piston portion (120) through an upper opening to enable the transfer of contents to an upper flow path. That is, the above-mentioned receiving portion (110) includes a storage space for receiving a cosmetic composition, the piston portion (120) and the flow path portion (130) are coupled through an upper open end, and the lower side is configured to form a sealed structure so as not to leak contents.
[0040] The above piston part (120) is configured to reciprocate in the up and down direction within the receiving part (110) and to suck in and discharge a cosmetic composition.
[0041] The above piston part (120) is composed of a piston body (121), a spring (122), a cylinder housing (123), and a wing part (124).
[0042] A head portion (121a) is formed on the upper side of the piston body (121), and the head portion (121a) includes a protruding flange structure for coupling with the flow path portion (130). Specifically, the head portion (121a) is configured to be coupled with the flow path portion (130) so that a cosmetic composition introduced from the receiving portion (110) is delivered to the upper flow path. The head portion (121a) includes a stepped shape or a coupling projection for coupling with the flow path portion (130) and is formed to guide the cosmetic composition to the upper flow path when the piston is operated.
[0043] The above piston body (121) is formed such that its displacement is limited to a specified range, and is configured so that the discharge amount per stroke during the up-and-down reciprocating of the piston is maintained at 0.090cc or less. More preferably, it is configured so that the discharge amount per stroke during the up-and-down reciprocating is maintained at 0.055cc to 0.065cc.
[0044] In this regard, the micro needle type pump assembly (100) is designed to be used by turning the container upside down or tilting it so that the device must come into contact with the skin, and since the contents must be inserted through the needle, it has the characteristic of being ejected in a very small amount with a quantitative dispensing structure (0.055cc to 0.065cc) that is very small per discharge.
[0045] In this regard, in conventional structures, when the remaining amount in the container is low or the container is tilted during use, the contents shift downward, preventing the cylinder inlet from being submerged in the contents and causing suction failure. In particular, the upper and lower blades of the piston are thick and wide, causing significant interference with the inner wall of the housing and reducing the piston return force, making a small volume dispensing structure (typically 0.055cc to 0.065cc) essential. However, in conventional structures, when the remaining amount in the container is low or the container is tilted, the contents shift downward, preventing the cylinder inlet from being submerged in the contents and frequently causing suction failure. In particular, the upper and lower blades of the piston are thick and wide, causing significant interference with the inner wall of the cylinder housing. Consequently, the piston return force is reduced, making it difficult to achieve the rapid negative pressure formation and immediate return operation required for a very small volume dispensing structure.
[0046] For example, as illustrated in FIG. 10, in a conventional structure, a gap of approximately 8.6 mm is formed between the case at the bottom of the container and the cylinder housing. This large gap caused frequent suction failures, where the contents were concentrated at the bottom and the cylinder inlet could not be submerged in the contents when the user tilted the container. In contrast, in the improved structure of the present invention, the bottom height is reduced to approximately 6.1 mm, thereby increasing the probability that the cylinder inlet comes into contact with the contents even when the container is tilted, ensuring suction stability and continuous discharge reliability.
[0048] The wing portion (124) of the present invention is composed of an upper wing (124a) and a lower wing (124b). The upper wing (124a) is formed on the upper outer surface of the piston body (121) and performs sealing and upper guide functions by creating a predetermined interference with the inner surface of the cylinder housing (123). At this time, the upper wing (124a) is not formed on the head portion (121a) itself, but is formed on the upper outer surface of the piston body (121) located near the lower side of the head portion (121a).
[0049] The lower wing (124b) is formed on the lower outer surface of the piston body (121) and forms a gap with the inner surface of the cylinder housing (123) to minimize piston return resistance and perform the functions of centering and preventing flipping.
[0050] That is, the upper wing (124a) overlaps with the inner circumference of the cylinder housing, and the upper wing (124b) forms a gap with the inner circumference of the cylinder housing, so that the upper and lower movement characteristics of the piston are configured to be implemented differently.
[0051] In this regard, in conventional structures, interference between the inner wall of the housing and the piston body is significant and the vane section is thick, which prevents the smooth formation of internal negative pressure during piston return. Consequently, there was a problem of reduced repetitive pumping stability in micro-needle type pumps requiring small, precise quantitative discharge (0.055cc to 0.065cc). Furthermore, in conventional technology, the case and housing are completely sealed, making it prone to component deformation, jamming, and negative pressure imbalance due to changes in internal pressure. Consequently, structural problems such as delayed piston return, backflow, and leakage occurred.
[0052] The asymmetrical shape of the upper wing (124a) and lower wing (124b) as in the present invention provides minimal interference to guide the straight movement of the piston on one side of the lower wing, and prevents friction and jamming during the return process on the other side, thereby improving the piston return force and the ability to generate negative pressure.
[0053] For example, the present invention may be configured with a structure that intentionally forms an overlap of approximately 0.1 mm between the housing and the outer case, and leaves a gap of approximately 0.1 mm in some areas. In this regard, the overlap (0.1 mm) is a configuration intended to secure bonding strength between parts and suppress vibration during the assembly process to ensure axial straightness during piston operation, and the gap (0.1 mm) serves as a buffer space to respond to minute displacements, thermal expansions, and internal pressure changes occurring during piston reciprocation. By preventing parts from excessively interfering or getting stuck with each other, it provides the effect of improving the stability of piston return force, negative pressure formation, and quantitative dispensing. Through this, the problem of the cylinder inlet not being submerged in the contents even when the container is overturned or tilted is fundamentally prevented, and the inflow of contents into the cylinder is always stable.
[0054] At this time, the material of the upper wing (124a) and upper wing (124b) is suitable to be LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene).
[0055] In this regard, conventional micro needle type pump assemblies (100) have typically used LDPE (low-density polyethylene). This is because it is a material that has low density, is flexible, and has good elasticity, resulting in excellent injection and assembly properties, and makes it easy to secure initial adhesion to the inner wall of the housing. However, in the present invention, due to the asymmetrical shape of the upper wing (124a) and the lower wing (124b), a gap occurs in the lower wing, so the sealing effect may be reduced when using the above LDPE (low-density polyethylene). Meanwhile, the above-mentioned LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene) material has better stress crack resistance than LDPE. Therefore, when applied to the present invention, it has a relatively high and excellent restoring force, allowing sufficient negative pressure to be formed when the piston returns, and since the fine shape of the upper wing (124a) and the upper wing (124b) is maintained stably without deformation, suction force and discharge stability can be secured even in a small discharge structure of 0.055cc to 0.065cc or less.
[0056] In this way, by changing the material from LDPE to LLDPE to solve the sealing problem caused by the gap in the lower wing and to improve the piston return elasticity, the piston returns quickly and stably, so that the cylinder inlet is always submerged in the contents, thereby ensuring suction stability even with small discharge.
[0058] The Euro section (130) of the present invention is configured to be connected to the upper side of the piston section (120) and to guide the flow of the cosmetic composition transmitted from the piston operation upward.
[0059] The above-mentioned Euro section (130) is composed of a central inlet hole (131) that allows the cosmetic composition introduced by piston operation to move upward without turbulence or collision, and an X-shaped multi-point flow path (132) that branches out in all directions from the inlet hole (131) and evenly distributes the flow to each needle plate (140) area.
[0060] The reason the flow path is formed in an X shape is to prevent pressure loss caused by the fluid flowing into the center being deflected in a specific direction or colliding with the flow path walls, and to ensure that the fluid is distributed uniformly in all directions so that the same pressure and flow rate are supplied to all micro-needles. For example, if the flow path is H-shaped, the central flow may branch only in the left and right directions, causing the flow to be deflected to a specific axis and resulting in a problem where sufficient flow rate is not supplied to the outer region of the needle plate. However, since the X-shaped flow path has a structure that simultaneously disperses the central flow in four directions, the length and flow resistance of each branched flow path are maintained almost equally, and the fluid spreads uniformly without being biased in a specific direction, thereby having the advantage of being able to supply uniform pressure and flow rate to the entire area of the needle plate (140).
[0062] The needle plate (140) is a plate structure positioned at the top of the flow channel (130) to deliver a cosmetic composition rising through the flow channel to each micro-needle, and is configured to have a plurality of micro-needles formed integrally or supported.
[0063] The needle plate (140) may be circular or polygonal. The shape of the needle plate (140) may vary depending on design conditions, but is formed in a structure that performs the function of uniformly distributing the cosmetic composition rising through the flow channel (130) to a plurality of micro-needles.
[0064] The needle plate (140) may further include a vortex suppression groove (141) on its upper surface. The vortex suppression groove (141) is formed on the upper surface of the needle plate (140) to guide the flow of the cosmetic composition rising from the flow path (130) in a straight direction so as not to form a rotational flow on the upper surface of the needle plate, thereby ensuring that it is uniformly distributed to each micro-needle (151).
[0065] The above vortex suppression groove (141) can be formed in a radial groove pattern over the entire upper surface of the needle plate to align the fluid rising from the X-shaped flow path to spread in all directions.
[0066] The above vortex suppression groove (141) may be a groove placed in the area between each needle to align the flow around the needle.
[0067] The above vortex suppression groove (141) may be applied only to the central part that contacts the X-shaped flow path to suppress fluid deviation.
[0068] For example, the above-mentioned vortex suppression groove (141) may be formed as a plurality of grooves extending radially from the center of the upper surface of the needle plate (140) toward the outside, and each groove may be configured to reduce flow rate variation between micro needles (151) and improve spray uniformity by inducing the cosmetic composition rising from the flow path (130) to flow in a straight direction without forming a rotational flow on the upper surface of the needle plate.
[0069] The needle plate (140) may have a pressure buffering chamber (142) formed on its upper surface to buffer pressure changes before fluid is delivered to each micro needle (151). The pressure buffering chamber (142) is a micro-space concavely formed on the upper surface of the needle plate and functions to reduce deviations in flow rate distribution between needles by allowing fluid to temporarily accumulate and then move toward each needle at a uniform speed.
[0070] For example, the pressure buffering chamber (142) may be a micro pocket formed in a shallowly concave shape in the center of the upper surface of the needle plate (140), and the fluid is stably distributed in the direction of each micro needle (151) after the pressure change is buffered within the pocket.
[0071] Additionally, the pressure buffer chamber (141a) may be configured to be formed annularly along the base of each micro-needle to stabilize the injection flow of the needle tip.
[0072] The needle plate (140) may further have ultra-fine anti-backflow protrusions (143) formed on its lower surface to suppress backflow of fluid. The anti-backflow protrusions (143) generate almost no flow resistance when the fluid moves upward, but when the fluid attempts to flow downward during piston return, they provide high flow resistance along the fine gaps to effectively suppress backflow. For example, the anti-backflow protrusions (143) are formed in a radial or linear rib shape on the lower surface of the needle plate (140) and are composed of a plurality of fine protrusion structures having a height of 10 μm to 80 μm, thereby concentrating resistance on the path where the fluid flows back and effectively limiting backflow.
[0074] The micro-needle section (150) is composed of a plurality of micro-needles (151) formed on the upper surface of the needle plate (140) and an irregular pyramid-shaped tip (152) provided on the top of the micro-needles. The irregular pyramid of the irregular pyramid-shaped tip (152) refers to a shape that does not exhibit radial symmetry. Here, radial symmetry refers to a symmetry in which the outer shape (contour) is identically repeated when rotated around a single center point or central axis. In particular, in the present invention, a plurality of inclined surfaces constituting the outer shape of the needle tip are arranged in positions facing each other with respect to the central axis, so that a structural correspondence is not formed in which each inclined surface can be paired with another inclined surface and overlap through rotation or reflection transformation.
[0075] The micro needle (151) is formed to protrude upward from the needle plate (140) and is configured to allow the cosmetic composition supplied through the flow path (130) to be transported along the inside of the needle to the tip. Specifically, the micro needle (151) is formed such that a cylindrical or polygonal body protrudes a certain length from the upper surface of the needle plate (140), and a micro flow passage extending forward is formed inside so that the cosmetic composition supplied from the flow path (130) can flow to the tip.
[0076] The above micro needles (151) are characterized by having micro needles arranged without empty space at the corners or edges of the needle plate (140).
[0077] In this regard, conventional pump container products containing micro needles are generally configured such that they are not installed at the corners or edges of the needle plate (140) due to the problem of leakage. However, since the present invention prevents leakage through the X-shaped distribution structure of the flow path (130) and the stabilization of negative pressure formation of the piston part (120), micro needles can be placed at the corners or edges of the needle plate (140) without any empty space.
[0078] The above-mentioned irregular pyramid-shaped tip (152) is provided at the top of each micro needle (151) and has a structure in which a plurality of inclined surfaces converge asymmetrically, so that the contents are finely discharged to the outside and delivered uniformly to the skin.
[0079] The above-mentioned irregular pyramid-shaped tip (152) is composed of a plurality of inclined surfaces, wherein one or more inclined surfaces with different areas extending downward from the top apex are combined.
[0081] The above irregular pyramid-shaped tip (152) has some inclined surfaces that have the same shape as each other, while other inclined surfaces have different slopes or widths, forming an irregular, asymmetrical multi-faceted pyramid structure as a whole, unlike a regular pyramid structure.
[0082] Additionally, the irregular pyramid-shaped tip (152) may have an asymmetric polygonal shape having an inward cutting portion. Specifically, the asymmetric polygonal shape having an inward cutting portion means that one side is indented inward or that multiple cutting surfaces with different angles of inclination are combined, so that the entire tip forms an irregular asymmetric cutting shape, unlike a regular pyramid structure. The irregular pyramid-shaped tip (152) may have one side cut inward at an intermediate point, and the corresponding other side is formed as a gently inclined surface, so that the overall contour may include a polygonal shape that is asymmetric to the left and right.
[0083] For example, the above-mentioned irregular pyramid-shaped tip (152) may have a cutting surface that does not have an equilateral triangle or square cross-section, and one side may have a curved or bent contour that is cut inward at the midpoint, and the corresponding other side may be formed as a gentle slope so that the top may have an irregular pyramid-shaped (horn-shaped) structure.
[0084] The above-described irregular pyramid-shaped tip (152) reduces initial contact resistance to the skin surface through a structure in which multiple inclined surfaces converge asymmetrically, and improves penetration power and spray uniformity by stabilizing the fluid discharge direction at the tip of the needle.
[0085] Specifically, due to a structure combining an inward cutting section and an inclined surface with a different slope, deflection or shaking is reduced during needle insertion at the tip, and cutting force and penetration force are increased.
[0086] In addition, the multifaceted slope structure and the inward cut of the irregular pyramid tip converge the fluid toward the peak direction and suppress lateral diffusion, thereby stabilizing the fluid discharge direction at the needle tip along a constant axis. That is, the multifaceted slope structure and the inward cut of the irregular pyramid tip guide the discharged fluid toward the peak direction, thereby suppressing lateral leakage and turbulence, which reduces the discharge direction deviation and concentrates the fluid flow along one axis, thus structurally stabilizing the fluid discharge direction at the needle tip.
[0088] The skin contact portion (160) of the present invention is configured in the shape of a plate that guides the needle to stably penetrate when the micro needle portion (150) comes into direct contact with the external skin, and has a structure in which a plurality of through holes are provided so that the micro needle (151) can pass through.
[0090] The skin contact portion (160) of the present invention is configured in the shape of a plate that supports the micro-needle portion (150) to make stable contact with the skin.
[0091] The above skin contact portion (160) is composed of a skin contact perforation plate (161) and a plurality of through holes (162).
[0092] The skin contact perforation plate (161) is formed as a perforation plate with a flat structure that comes into direct contact with the user's skin, and serves to support the needle plate (140) and the micro-needle part (150) so that they are stably seated on the skin. The skin contact perforation plate (161) is formed to stably maintain the insertion position of the needle part and ensure close contact with the skin surface.
[0093] The skin contact perforation plate (161) may be circular or polygonal, and its shape may be varied according to the purpose of use or design requirements. The skin contact perforation plate (161) may be selectively designed within the range of maintaining a flat plate structure so that a plurality of through holes (162) can be stably formed in correspondence with the arrangement of micro needles (151).
[0095] The plurality of through holes (162) are formed in the skin contact perforation plate (161) so that the micro needles (151) can pass through. The plurality of through holes (162) consist of multiple through holes formed at regular intervals in the skin contact perforation plate (161) so that each micro needle (151) can pass through in a corresponding manner. The plurality of through holes (162) are configured to prevent positional errors when inserting the needles and to maintain uniformity of the spray pattern.
[0096] The plurality of through holes (161) may be circular or polygonal, and their shapes may be varied according to the purpose of use or design requirements. However, it is preferable that each through hole (161) be formed slightly larger than the outer diameter of the corresponding micro needle (151) to prevent interference or friction when the needle is inserted, and be arranged at regular intervals to align with the needle arrangement.
[0097] The above skin contact portion (160) may further include a protruding pressure portion (163) on its upper surface. The pressure portion (163) is formed on the edge or upper surface of the skin contact portion (160) and performs the function of improving needle insertion stability by applying local pressure to the skin surface in advance when the device comes into contact with the skin, thereby reducing the phenomenon of the skin being pushed or shaken at the moment the micro needle (151) is inserted.
[0098] The above-mentioned pressure portion (163) may be formed in a hemispherical, cylindrical, ribbed, or polygonal protrusion shape, and its height may be set to a range lower than the protrusion length of the micro needle (151), and the spacing between adjacent pressure portions (163) may be arranged in a range of 0.5 mm to 2 mm to ensure uniform local pressure while preventing excessive stimulation when in contact with the skin.
[0099] The above skin contact portion (160) may further include an anti-slip portion (164) in the form of a thin ring-shaped protrusion on the edge of the skin contact plate. Specifically, the anti-slip portion (164) is formed in the shape of an annular protrusion along the outer edge of the skin contact plate (161) to increase friction with the skin during the process of the user pressing the device against the skin, thereby preventing slipping or shaking. For example, the anti-slip portion (164) may be formed as a continuous annular protrusion or a plurality of dot-shaped or rib-shaped protrusions, and its height may be set lower than the protrusion height of the micro needle (151) to improve skin adhesion within a range that does not hinder needle insertion.
[0102] The micro needle type pump assembly (100) may further include a cover portion (170) that completely encloses and protects the composition from the lower receiving portion (100) to the upper skin contact portion (160).
[0103] The above cover portion (170) is composed of a lower cover portion (171) and an upper cover portion (172).
[0104] The lower cover portion (171) above performs the function of protecting the receiving portion (110) located at the bottom of the micro needle type pump assembly (100) from external impact or contamination by wrapping around the outer circumference and stably supporting the entire assembly.
[0105] The upper cover portion (172) is configured to surround the upper side of the micro needle portion (150) and the skin contact portion (160) from the outer periphery to protect them from external impact or contamination, and to stably support the upper structure of the assembly. The upper cover portion (172) is formed to be detachable so that the user can expose or cover the micro needle portion (150) and the skin contact portion (160) as needed, and is configured to safely shield the needle portion after use or during storage.
