Description

Technology Field

[0001] The technical field of the present disclosure relates to a technical field for providing customized nursing home recommendation information, and specifically, to a technical field for providing nursing home recommendation information suitable for a user's situation by determining priorities for multiple nursing homes based on user information and nursing home information. Background Technology

[0003] With the deepening of the aging society, the demand for nursing facilities is surging; however, most current information services for nursing homes remain at the level of merely listing superficial information such as location, price, and facility size.

[0004] Consequently, users must personally compare and evaluate facilities suitable for their health status or level of care; however, problems exist where online evaluations and reviews are fragmentary or unreliable, leading to excessive time and uncertainty in decision-making. Furthermore, while users' medical needs (e.g., severity, diagnosis, medication use), mobility, budget, and family preferences may be identified individually, there is currently a lack of a structure capable of integrating and analyzing this data to evaluate nursing facilities based on their operational capabilities, medical staffing, and emergency response systems. Therefore, there is an increasing need for technology capable of overcoming the aforementioned limitations. Prior art literature

[0043] FIG. 2 is a flowchart illustrating each step of operation of a device (100) according to one embodiment.

[0044] Referring to step S210, a device (100) according to one embodiment can obtain user information including at least one of user age, user gender, type of disability, degree of disability, and budget information from a user account.

[0045] Referring to step S220, a device (100) according to one embodiment can obtain nursing home information including at least one of the nursing home average age, nursing home gender ratio, specialized program information, presence of 24-hour caregiving staff, and presence of medical staff from a plurality of nursing home accounts.

[0046] Referring to step S230, the device (100) according to one embodiment can determine the priority for multiple nursing home accounts based on user information and nursing home information.

[0047] In one embodiment, the device (100) may determine the priority for multiple nursing home accounts by scoring based on nursing home recommendation topics. For example, the device (100) may determine a clinical suitability score for a nursing home based on specialized program information, the presence of 24-hour caregiving staff, and the presence of medical staff, and may determine the priority based on the clinical suitability score. In one embodiment, the specialized programs may include specialized dementia programs and specialized rehabilitation programs. Additionally, the clinical suitability score may indicate the degree of suitability for diagnosing or treating patients.

[0048] Additionally, the device (100) may additionally obtain service information including at least one of the number of programs provided relative to monthly costs, the number of physical therapy sessions provided per month, rating information, and external audit scores from multiple nursing home accounts, and may determine a service quality score for the nursing home based on the service information. Additionally, it may determine a priority based on the determined service quality score.

[0049] Additionally, the device (100) can determine an expected adaptation score indicating the degree to which a user adapts to a nursing home based on user age, user gender, nursing home average age, and nursing home sex ratio, and can determine a priority based on the expected adaptation score. In one embodiment, the nursing home average age may represent the average age of nursing home residents and nursing home medical staff, and the nursing home sex ratio may represent the sex ratio of nursing home residents and nursing home medical staff.

[0050] In one embodiment, the device (100) can determine an emergency level based on the type and degree of disability, determine weights for each of the clinical suitability score, service quality score, and expected adaptation score based on the emergency level, and determine priorities based on the determined weights. In one embodiment, the emergency level may indicate the degree of urgency of the user, and the emergency level may be determined to be high if the type of disability is intractable or incurable, or if the degree of disability is severe or higher.

[0051] In one embodiment, the device (100) can determine priority based on weights assigned in the order of clinical suitability score, service quality score, and expected adaptation score when the emergency level is higher than the first threshold level. Specifically, when the emergency level is higher than the first threshold level, it can be considered a high emergency situation, and in this case, an emergency system capable of responding to the user's emergency situation may be important, so the highest weight may be assigned to the clinical suitability score, which indicates the degree of suitability for treating or diagnosing the patient. Additionally, in the user's emergency situation, the importance of services capable of managing the user's disease may be high, so the service quality score may be assigned a second-high weight. Also, information regarding whether the user can adapt well to the nursing home may be considered to have low importance in the emergency situation, so the expected adaptation score may be assigned a third-high weight.

[0052] Additionally, if the emergency level is lower than the first threshold level but higher than the second threshold level which is lower than the first threshold level, it can be considered an intermediate emergency, and the device (100) can determine priority based on weights assigned in the order of service quality score, clinical suitability score, and expected adaptation score. Specifically, in the case of an intermediate emergency, providing nursing home information that matches the user's preferences may be important, and accordingly, the quality of the provided service may be an important factor, so the highest weight may be assigned to the service quality score. Also, admission to a nursing home is often for a long period rather than a short period, and accordingly, the presence of medical staff capable of responding to various situations may be important, so the clinical suitability score may be assigned a second-highest weight. Also, because it is an intermediate emergency level, the user's expected adaptation may be judged to be of somewhat lower importance, so the expected adaptation score may be assigned a third-highest weight.

[0053] Additionally, if the emergency level is lower than the second threshold level, it can be considered a non-emergency case, and the device (100) can determine priority based on weights assigned in the order of expected adaptation score, service quality score, and clinical suitability score. Specifically, in a non-emergency case, an environment that helps the user adapt well to the nursing home can be the most important factor, and accordingly, the highest weight can be assigned to the expected adaptation score. Also, if the service quality of the nursing home is high, the user's satisfaction with the nursing home may be high, so it is judged to be of high importance, and thus the service quality score can be assigned a second-high weight. Also, in a non-emergency case, the importance of an emergency system capable of handling emergency situations can be judged to be low, so the clinical suitability score can be assigned a third-high weight. In this way, the device (100) can improve user satisfaction by providing customized nursing home recommendation information, performing scoring by nursing home recommendation topic based on user information and nursing home information, and additionally determining priority for multiple nursing home accounts by assigning different weights to each score according to the user's emergency level.

[0054] In another embodiment, the device (100) may determine the priority for multiple nursing home accounts by assigning different weights according to various situations of the user. In one embodiment, the device (100) may additionally obtain medical personnel ratios, transportation infrastructure information, and cost information for nursing homes from user accounts and multiple nursing home accounts.

[0055] For example, if the user's disability level is severe or higher (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, dementia, etc.) and the user's emergency level is higher than the first threshold level, the device (100) can determine priority based on weights assigned in the order of medical personnel ratio, traffic infrastructure information, cost information, rating information, and specialized program information. Specifically, the medical personnel ratio can lead to medical linkage, which may be a factor directly related to the user's life maintenance, so it is judged to be of high importance and the highest weight may be assigned to the medical personnel ratio. In addition, if the user is in an emergency situation, hospital accessibility and the speed of emergency response may be important factors, so the traffic infrastructure information may be assigned a second-high weight. Also, if the user has a disability level severe or higher, the ability to provide continuous treatment may be considered more important than the cost, so it is judged to be of somewhat high importance and the cost information may be assigned a third-high weight. In addition, while positive reviews from other users may indicate high user satisfaction with the nursing home, it may be difficult to view high ratings as reflecting the user's personal preferences; therefore, their importance may be deemed low, and thus a high weight of 4th rank may be assigned to the rating information. Furthermore, if the user is in an emergency situation, stable treatment may be a more critical factor than rehabilitation; therefore, their importance may be deemed low, and thus a high weight of 5th rank may be assigned to the specialized program information.

[0056] Additionally, if the user is a low-income individual with a limited budget or uses a nursing home through insurance coverage, the device (100) can determine priorities based on weights assigned in the order of cost information, medical staff ratio, transportation infrastructure information, specialized program information, and rating information. Specifically, the user may have economic constraints on using the nursing home. Therefore, since it may be important to receive information on nursing homes with optimized service efficiency relative to cost, the highest weight may be assigned to cost information. Also, since a nursing home with low costs may be preferred as long as basic medical services are secured, the medical staff ratio may be assigned a second-highest weight. Additionally, since the selection of a nursing home within the user's budget may be more important than a nursing home with good transportation infrastructure, the importance of transportation infrastructure may be judged to be somewhat lower, so the transportation infrastructure information may be assigned a third-highest weight. In addition, regarding information on specialized programs, while a variety of programs can be a factor in increasing user satisfaction, users with limited budgets may have little room to choose programs, so their importance may be judged to be low, and thus a high weight of 4th rank may be assigned to the specialized program information. Furthermore, even if a nursing home has high rating information, a high rating for a high-cost nursing home facility may be of very low importance to the user, so a high weight of 5th rank may be assigned to the rating information.

[0057] In addition, when a family member (or legal representative) is heavily involved in decision-making, that is, when the family member (or legal representative) holds the authority to make important decisions, the device (100) can determine priorities based on weights assigned in the order of traffic infrastructure information, medical personnel ratio, rating information, cost information, and specialized program information. Specifically, when the family member (or legal representative) holds the authority to make important decisions, they may frequently visit the nursing home to make decisions regarding the nursing home, and thus ease of access may be a major factor. Therefore, the highest weight may be assigned to the traffic infrastructure information. Also, from the perspective of the family member (or legal representative) of the nursing home user, the medical stability provided to the family member who is the ward may be considered important, and thus the medical personnel ratio may be assigned a second-highest weight, judging its importance to be high. Furthermore, for family members (or legal representatives) who do not actually use the nursing home, high ratings from other family users can increase trust in the facility; thus, this is considered somewhat important, and a high weighting of 3rd rank may be assigned to the rating information. Additionally, while nursing home costs within a budget can be an important factor, various options are available within a reasonable price range; therefore, this is considered somewhat less important, and a high weighting of 4th rank may be assigned to the cost information. Moreover, for family members (or legal representatives) who do not actually use the nursing home, information on specialized programs may be regarded as a supplementary factor compared to other elements; thus, its importance is considered low, and a high weighting of 5th rank may be assigned to the specialized program information.

[0058] Additionally, if the user is an elderly person living alone (a single elderly user), the device (100) can determine priorities based on weights assigned in the order of medical personnel ratio, specialized program information, transportation infrastructure information, rating information, and cost information. Specifically, in the case of an elderly person living alone, since there may be no family or acquaintances who visit frequently, a medical response system that can quickly identify the situation in case of an emergency may be important, so the highest weight may be assigned to the medical personnel ratio. Also, since there may be no family or acquaintances who visit frequently, the user may feel a lot of loneliness, and accordingly, relieving loneliness through various programs may be an important factor. Therefore, a high weight of second priority may be assigned to specialized program information. Additionally, although there may be no family or acquaintances who visit frequently, there may be a possibility that the state or local government will provide care personnel, and in this case, if the surrounding transportation infrastructure is good, it may be helpful for support, so it is judged that its importance is somewhat high, so a high weight of third priority may be assigned to transportation infrastructure information. Additionally, while a high rating may indicate high user satisfaction, ratings written by family members or acquaintances of the user may have low relevance to the user's satisfaction and thus be judged to have low importance, with a high weight of 4th rank assigned to the rating information. Furthermore, in the case of an elderly person living alone (a single elderly user), there may be no family present, and consequently, there is a high likelihood that the national or local government will provide support for nursing home costs; thus, it may be judged to have low importance and be assigned a high weight of 5th rank to the cost information. Accordingly, the device (100) can determine priority by dynamically adjusting the weight of each evaluation element based on user characteristic information (medical status, budget, social activity, etc.) and can provide more precise user-customized nursing home recommendation information.

[0059] Referring to step S240, a device (100) according to one embodiment may provide recommendation information for some of a plurality of nursing home accounts to a user account based on priority. In one embodiment, when providing recommendation information, the device (100) may provide the core recommendation reasons for some of the plurality of nursing home accounts in a natural language form. In this regard, it will be explained with reference to FIG. 5.

[0060] FIG. 5 is a diagram illustrating an example in which a device (100) provides customized nursing home recommendation information by region. Referring to FIG. 5, in one embodiment, the device (100) may obtain selection information from a user regarding the region where a nursing home is located, and may provide information on one or more nursing homes located in that region based on the selection information. The nursing home information provided may include the name of the nursing home, a message briefly providing the characteristics of the nursing home, and the key reasons for recommending the nursing home in natural language form. For example, it may include direct cooking, proximity to the city center, programs, specialized nursing, and walking / gardening, and through this, the user may be able to check the recommendation information at a glance and easily select the desired nursing home information, thereby increasing the user's convenience.

[0062] FIG. 3 is a configuration diagram showing the network configuration of a customized nursing home recommendation information provision system according to one embodiment. Referring to FIG. 3, a device (100) according to one embodiment can obtain user information from a user account, including at least one of user age, user gender, type of disability, degree of disability, and budget information. Additionally, it can obtain nursing home information from multiple nursing home accounts, including at least one of nursing home average age, nursing home gender ratio, specialized program information, presence of 24-hour caregiving staff, and presence of medical staff. Furthermore, based on user information and nursing home information, a priority can be determined for multiple nursing home accounts, and recommendation information for some of the multiple nursing home accounts can be provided to the user account based on the determined priority. Accordingly, the device (100) can provide customized nursing home recommendation information with high accuracy compared to simple location-based search by analyzing user health data and facility operation data, visualize vast nursing facility data in a comparable form through condition-based filtering and prioritization, and reduce time and costs by shortening the user's search and consultation time.

[0064] FIG. 4 is a diagram illustrating an example in which a device provides customized nursing home recommendation information based on user preferences. Referring to FIG. 4, a device (100) according to one embodiment may obtain selection input regarding nursing home preferences from a user account. In one embodiment, nursing home preference information may include religious facilities, premium, economical, nursing specialized, in-house cooking, rehabilitation treatment, additional staffing, programs, proximity to the city center, and walking / garden areas. In this way, the device (100) can provide a service that allows users to intuitively explore nursing home characteristics regardless of their age or level of digital accessibility by providing a simple text-based selection structure. Furthermore, when a user selects a specific category, the device sequentially presents a list of nursing homes optimized for the user based on the corresponding conditions, thereby visualizing vast nursing facility data into a comparable form through condition-based filtering and prioritization. This reduces the user's search and consultation time, thereby saving time and costs. Additionally, by resolving information asymmetry between the user's family and nursing facilities and providing objective nursing information based on public data, the device can contribute to improving the quality of life for the elderly and increasing the efficiency of social care.
