Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a clothing processing device, and more specifically, to a clothing processing device having a rotating part provided within a drum. Background Technology

[0002] A garment processing device is a device that removes contaminants from laundry by placing clothes, bedding, etc. (hereinafter referred to as laundry) into a drum. A garment processing device can perform processes such as washing, rinsing, spinning, and drying, and garment processing devices can be classified into top loading and front loading methods based on the method of placing laundry into the drum.

[0003] A clothing processing device may be configured to include a housing forming an exterior, a tub housed inside the housing, a drum rotatably mounted inside the tub into which laundry is fed, and a detergent supply device that supplies detergent into the drum.

[0004] When the drum rotates by a motor while washing water is supplied to the laundry contained in the drum, dirt on the laundry can be removed through friction with the drum and the washing water.

[0005] Meanwhile, a rotating part may be provided inside the drum to improve the washing effect of the laundry. The rotating part can rotate inside the drum to form a water flow, and the washing effect of the laundry can be improved by the rotating part.

[0006] Korean Registered Patent No. 10-0186729 discloses a garment processing device including a rotating part provided inside a drum. The garment processing device improves washing efficiency by forming a water flow through the rotation of the rotating part.

[0007] The rotating part requires an efficient design in which the water flow formed by rotation can improve washing efficiency, and furthermore, a design is required that can effectively reduce the load on the rotation of the rotating part to efficiently reduce the motor load.

[0008] Meanwhile, when laundry is fed into the garment processing device, the rotating part and the laundry may become entangled due to the rotation of the rotating part during the washing process. As the rotating part rotates, the drum may also rotate due to the entangled laundry. In other words, a large moment of inertia acts on the rotating part, which may result in a failure to start. Furthermore, it may be difficult to control the drive unit during the washing process. Accordingly, preventing failure to start and facilitating control of the drive unit through the efficient rotation of the rotating part is an important task in this technical field.

[0009] Furthermore, improving the washing effect of clothing by establishing an appropriate rotation strategy for the rotating part, taking into account the water flow formation effect of the rotating part, is an important task in this technical field. The problem to be solved

[0010] Embodiments of the present invention aim to provide a garment processing device capable of reducing the moment of inertia acting on the rotating part and the driving load of the driving part during rotation of the rotating part by forming a space between the laundry and the rotating part during the initial start of a laundry process in which a large amount of laundry is washed.

[0011] In addition, embodiments of the present invention aim to provide a garment processing device in which a space is formed between the laundry and the rotating part during the washing process, thereby facilitating the control of the driving part that rotates the rotating part.

[0012] In addition, embodiments of the present invention aim to provide a garment processing device in which a driving unit is easily controlled, a rotating unit that forms a water flow is efficiently utilized, and washing efficiency can be increased.

[0013] In addition, embodiments of the present invention aim to provide a control method for a garment processing device that includes a distribution motion prior to a washing motion, so that various washing motions of a rotating part can be effectively utilized in the washing process of the garment. means of solving the problem

[0014] In the case where a rotating part that forms a water flow is present inside the drum of a garment processing device, the rotating part may be decelerated in the left and right directions during left and right stirring by adjusting the amount of rotation of the rotating part driven by the driving part, such as the rotation angle, or the gear ratio.

[0015] However, one embodiment of the present invention includes a rotating part provided in a drum that includes an inclined blade, and by utilizing the water flow characteristics according to the inclination of the blade, a deviation in the amount of rotation of unidirectional rotation and other-directional rotation can be introduced to implement various washing motions of the rotating part.

[0016] That is, one embodiment of the present invention may be a garment processing device in the form of a top loader, and the rotating part may perform three-dimensional washing in which the water flow rises and falls through an inclined blade.

[0017] Top-loader type garment processing devices can wash clothes by causing friction between the laundry or by water flow passing through the laundry. The top-loader method can be classified as flat washing, and while there is a possibility of damage to the laundry during washing, the washing time is short and the cleaning cost may be high.

[0018] However, the driving load of the drive unit may increase due to the provision of a column and a blade. In particular, when a large amount of laundry is washed, the laundry may become entangled in the column and the blade during the washing process, causing the drum to rotate along with the rotating unit. That is, when the rotating unit rotates, a large moment of inertia acts on the rotating unit, and the driving load of the drive unit that rotates the rotating unit may increase.

[0019] One embodiment of the present invention performs a distribution motion prior to the washing motion to form a space between the blade and the laundry, thereby reducing the moment of inertia acting on the rotating part. Additionally, the driving load for rotating the rotating part is reduced, preventing failure of the driving part to start and allowing the driving part to be easily controlled during the washing process.

[0020] In addition, one embodiment of the present invention can improve the advantages and mitigate the disadvantages associated with the flat washing by establishing a motion strategy for a rotating part having an inclined blade.

[0021] In one embodiment of the present invention, the washing motion of the rotating part may be presented as a motion that considers a conventional rotation method and the rising and falling of the water flow. In the general motion, the rotating part may perform constant repetitive rotation in one direction and the other direction, with respect to the amount of rotation of the driving part, that is, the rotation angle of the rotating part.

[0022] Meanwhile, in one embodiment of the present invention, the washing motion may include a lifting motion, and the lifting motion may include an upward motion and a downward motion. The lifting motion is a washing motion that forms an upward water flow, and the downward motion is a washing motion that forms a downward water flow.

[0023] In the lifting motion, the rotating part can perform rotation in the other direction after unidirectional rotation, and the unidirectional rotation can have a larger rotation angle than the rotation in the other direction. In the descending motion, the rotating part can perform unidirectional rotation after rotation in the other direction, and the rotation in the other direction can have a larger rotation angle than the unidirectional rotation.

[0024] One embodiment of the present invention can perform an optimal washing course according to the material, moisture content, and load of the laundry during the washing process through various washing motions as described above. One embodiment of the present invention can perform three-dimensional water flow formation and washing motions that cannot be realized with a rotating part including a blade extending in a vertical direction.

[0025] A clothing processing device according to one embodiment of the present invention may include a tub in which water is stored, a water supply unit provided to provide water supplied to the tub, a drum provided inside the tub with an open top surface into which clothing is fed, a rotating unit rotatably installed on the bottom surface of the drum, a driving unit provided to provide rotational force to the rotating unit, and a control unit provided to control the driving unit.

[0026] The above-described rotating part may include a bottom part located on the lower surface of the drum and a column part protruding upward from the bottom part and having a blade provided on its outer surface. The washing process of the clothes may include a water supply process in which water is supplied into the tub through the water supply part at least once.

[0027] The control unit can control the drive unit so that, after the water supply process ends, the rotating unit performs a distribution motion to form a space between the garment and the blade, and after the distribution motion, the rotating unit performs a washing motion to form a water flow. The control unit can control the drive unit such that the amount of rotation of the rotating unit in the distribution motion is smaller than the amount of rotation of the rotating unit in the washing motion.

[0028] In addition, the control unit can control the drive unit such that the rotational speed of the rotating unit in the distribution motion is smaller than the rotational speed of the rotating unit in the washing motion.

[0029] Additionally, the tub is provided with a water level sensor capable of measuring the water level of the tub, and the control unit determines the water level of the tub through the water level sensor, and the control unit can control the driving unit so that the rotating unit performs the distribution motion only when the water level of the tub is above the distribution reference water level.

[0030] Additionally, the washing process further includes a detergent supply unit arranged to supply detergent to the tub, and the washing process includes a washing process in which detergent is supplied from the detergent supply unit to the tub and foreign matter is removed from the clothing, and the washing process includes the water supply process at least once, and the control unit can control the driving unit so that the rotating unit performs the distribution motion within the washing distribution standard time after the start of the washing process.

[0031] Additionally, the distribution motion includes a first distribution motion in which the rotating part rotates in one direction and a second distribution motion in which the rotating part rotates in the other direction, and the control unit can control the driving unit such that the first distribution rotation amount in which the rotating part rotates in the first distribution motion and the second distribution rotation amount in which the rotating part rotates in the second distribution motion are the same.

[0032] In addition, the distribution motion includes a stop motion in which the rotating part stops, and the control unit may perform the stop motion after the first distribution motion and perform the second distribution motion after the stop motion.

[0033] In addition, the blade is extended at an angle with respect to the longitudinal direction of the column portion, so that it can form an upward water flow when the rotating portion rotates in one direction and a downward water flow when rotated in the other direction.

[0034] In addition, the washing motion includes a lifting motion in which the rotating part rotates to form an upward or downward water flow, and the control unit can control the driving unit so that the rotation of the rotating part in the one direction and the rotation in the other direction in the lifting motion are each performed with different amounts of rotation.

[0035] In addition, the lifting motion includes an upward motion for forming an upward water flow, and the control unit can control the driving unit such that in the upward motion, the rotating part rotates in the unidirectional direction by a first rotation amount and rotates in the other direction by a second rotation amount less than the first rotation amount.

[0036] In addition, the control unit can control the driving unit such that the first distributed rotation amount is less than 0.25 times the first rotation amount.

[0037] Additionally, the above lifting motion includes a descending motion for forming a descending water flow, and the control unit can control the driving unit so that in the descending motion, the rotating part rotates in the other direction by a third amount of rotation and rotates in the one direction by a fourth amount of rotation that is less than the third amount of rotation.

[0038] In addition, the control unit can control the driving unit so that the rotating unit performs the distribution motion within the water supply distribution standard time after the end of the water supply process, and the rotating unit performs the washing motion within the water supply washing standard time after the distribution motion.

[0039] Meanwhile, a control method for a clothing processing device according to one embodiment of the present invention may include a washing step for removing foreign matter from clothing introduced into the drum, a rinsing step for discharging foreign matter from the tub after the washing step, and a dehydration step for removing moisture from the clothing after the rinsing step.

[0040] The washing step described above includes at least one water supply step in which water is supplied into the tub through the water supply unit, and the control unit may control the drive unit so that after the water supply step ends, the rotating unit performs a distribution motion to form a space between the garment and the blade, and after the distribution motion, the rotating unit performs a washing motion to form a water flow. The control unit may control the drive unit such that the amount of rotation of the rotating unit in the distribution motion is smaller than the amount of rotation of the rotating unit in the washing motion.

[0041] In addition, the clothing processing device further includes a water level sensor provided in the tub to measure the water level of the tub, and the control unit can control the driving unit to perform the distribution motion only when the water level of the tub is above the distribution reference water level. FIG. 1 illustrates a detergent supply unit (25) installed on the upper surface (11) of a cabinet (10) according to one embodiment of the present invention, but the location of the detergent supply unit (25) is not necessarily limited to the upper surface (11) of the cabinet (10).

[0068] Water stored in the tub (20) is discharged to the outside of the cabinet (10) through a drainage section (65), and the drainage section (65) may include a drain pipe that guides water inside the tub (20) to the outside of the cabinet (10) and a drainage pump provided in the drain pipe.

[0069] The drum (30) may be rotatably provided inside the tub (20). To be rotatably provided inside the tub (20), the drum (30) may be provided with a circular cross-section. For example, the drum (30) may be provided in a cylindrical shape as shown in FIG. 1.

[0070] The drum (30) may have an open upper surface (31) to form an open surface. The open surface may be positioned below the tub opening (22) to communicate with the tub opening (22).

[0093] The first rotation shaft (41) may be provided as a hollow shaft, and the second rotation shaft (42) may be provided as a solid shaft disposed inside the first rotation shaft (41). Accordingly, one embodiment of the present invention can effectively provide power to the first rotation shaft (41) and the second rotation shaft (42) which are parallel to each other through a single driving unit (50).

[0094] FIG. 2 illustrates a planetary gear type gear set (45), and shows a drive shaft, a first rotation shaft (41), and a second rotation shaft (42) each coupled to the gear set (45). Referring to FIG. 2, the rotational relationship of the first rotation shaft (41) and the second rotation shaft (42) in one embodiment of the present invention is described as follows.

[0095] The drive shaft of the drive unit (50) can be connected to the central sun gear of the planetary gear type gear set (45). When the drive shaft rotates, the planet gear and ring gear of the gear set (45) can rotate together by the rotation of the sun gear.

[0096] A first rotation shaft (41) coupled to the bottom surface of the drum (30) can be connected to a ring gear located at the outermost edge of the gear set (45). A second rotation shaft (42) coupled to the rotating part (100) can be connected to a planet gear positioned between the sun gear and the ring gear in the gear set (45).

[0097] Meanwhile, the above gear set (45) may include a clutch element (46) capable of limiting the rotation of each rotation shaft (40) as needed, and the clutch element (46) may include a first clutch element (47) and a second clutch element (48).

[0098] The gear set (45) may further include a gear housing fixed to the tub (20), and the first clutch element (47) may be provided in the gear housing to selectively limit the rotation of the first rotation shaft (41) connected to the ring gear.

[0099] The second clutch element (48) may be provided to mutually restrain or release the rotation of the drive shaft and the ring gear. That is, the rotation of the ring gear or the rotation of the first rotation shaft (41) may be synchronized with or released from the drive shaft by the second clutch element (48).

[0100] In one embodiment of the present invention, when the first clutch element (47) and the second clutch element (48) are in a released state, the first rotation shaft (41) and the second rotation shaft (42) rotate in opposite directions according to the rotation relationship of the planetary gear. That is, the drum (30) and the rotating part (100) rotate in opposite directions.

[0101] Meanwhile, when the first clutch element (47) is in a restricted state, the rotation of the ring gear and the first rotation shaft (41) is restricted, and the rotation of the second rotation shaft (42) occurs. That is, the drum (30) is in a stationary state, and only the rotating part (100) rotates. At this time, the rotation direction of the rotating part (100) can be determined according to the rotation direction of the driving part (50).

[0102] Meanwhile, when the second clutch element (48) is in a restricted state, the rotation between the drive shaft and the first rotation shaft (41) is mutually constrained, and the rotation of the drive shaft, the first rotation shaft (41), and the second rotation shaft (42) can be mutually constrained by the rotational relationship of the planetary gear. That is, the drum (30) and the rotating part (100) rotate in the same direction.

[0103] When the first clutch element (47) and the second clutch element (48) are simultaneously in a restricted state, the drive shaft, the first rotation shaft (41), and the second rotation shaft (42) are all in a stopped state. The control unit (70) can implement the necessary operating state by appropriately controlling the drive unit (50), the first clutch element (47), and the second clutch element (48) during the washing process and rinsing process (P20), etc.

[0104] Meanwhile, FIG. 3 shows a perspective view of a rotating part (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention. In one embodiment of the present invention, the rotating part (100) may include a bottom part (110), a column part (150), and a blade (170).

[0105] The bottom portion (110) may be positioned on the lower surface (33) of the drum (30). The bottom portion (110) may be positioned parallel to the lower surface (33) of the drum (30) and arranged to be rotatable on the lower surface (33). The aforementioned second rotation axis (42) may be coupled to the bottom portion (110).

[0106] That is, the first rotation shaft (41) is coupled to the drum (30), and the second rotation shaft (42), which is provided as a solid shaft inside the hollow first rotation shaft (41), can be coupled to the bottom part (110) of the rotating part (100) by penetrating the lower surface (33) of the drum (30).

[0107] The rotating part (100) coupled to the second rotating shaft (42) can be rotated independently of the drum (30). That is, the rotating part (100) can be rotated in the same direction as the drum (30) or in the opposite direction, and such rotation direction can be selected by the control unit (70), etc. as needed.

[0108] The first rotation axis (41) can be coupled to the center of the lower surface (33) of the drum (30). FIG. 1 illustrates, according to one embodiment of the present invention, that the upper surface (31) of the drum (30) is opened to form an open surface, and the lower surface (33) corresponds to the bottom surface.

[0109] That is, the clothing processing device (1) illustrated in FIG. 1 corresponds to a top loading method, and the drum (30) may have a side surface, i.e., an outer surface, connecting the upper surface (31) and the lower surface (33), and the cross-section of the drum (30) may be circular in shape for balancing rotation. That is, the drum (30) may be cylindrical in shape having an internal space.

[0110] A second rotation shaft (42) can be coupled to the center of the bottom portion (110) of the rotating portion (100). The second rotation shaft (42) can be coupled to one side of the bottom portion (110) facing the drum (30), i.e., the bottom surface, and the second rotation shaft (42) can be coupled to the bottom portion (110) by penetrating the center of the drum (30).

[0111] The bottom part (110) may have a circular cross-section to account for rotational balancing. The bottom part (110) may rotate around a second rotation axis (42) coupled in the center, and the center of the bottom part (110) may coincide with the center of the drum (30).

[0112] The bottom part (110) can basically have a disc shape, and a specific shape can be determined by considering the connection relationship of the protrusion (130) and the column part (150), as described below.

[0113] The bottom portion (110) may be provided in a form that covers at least a portion of the drum (30). The bottom portion (110) may be provided with a gap between the bottom surface and the drum (30) to facilitate rotation. However, the gap between the bottom portion (110) and the bottom surface of the drum (30) may vary as needed.

[0114] Meanwhile, as illustrated in FIG. 3, the column portion (150) may have a shape protruding from the bottom portion (110) toward the open surface. That is, the column portion (150) may have a shape that extends in the vertical direction. The column portion (150) may be formed integrally with the bottom portion (110) or manufactured separately and joined to the bottom portion (110).

[0115] The column portion (150) can be rotated together with the bottom portion (110). The column portion (150) can be extended from the center of the bottom portion (110) toward an open surface. FIG. 1 illustrates a column portion (150) that protrudes upward from the bottom portion (110) according to one embodiment of the present invention. The column portion (150) may have a circular cross-section, and the height of the protrusion from the bottom portion (110) may vary. An opening may be formed at the upper portion (154) of the column portion (150), and a cap portion (165) that covers the opening may be provided.

[0116] The column portion (150) may form an outer surface by having a curved side surface, and the rotating portion (100) may include a blade (170), and the blade (170) may be provided on the outer surface of the column portion (150).

[0117] The blade (170) can be provided to protrude from the column portion (150) and extend along the column portion (150) to form a water flow inside the drum (30) when the column portion (150) rotates.

[0118] The blades (170) are provided in multiple numbers and spaced apart along the circumferential direction of the column portion (150), and can extend from the bottom portion (110) side to the open surface side along a direction inclined with respect to the longitudinal direction (L) of the column portion (150).

[0119] Specifically, as illustrated in FIG. 3, the blade (170) may extend approximately along the longitudinal direction (L) of the column portion (150). The blade (170) may be provided in multiple numbers, and the number may vary as needed. FIG. 3 illustrates three blades (170) provided on the outer surface of the column portion (150) according to one embodiment of the present invention.

[0120] The blades (170) can be evenly spaced along the circumferential direction of the column portion (150). That is, the spacing between the blades (170) can be equal. When viewed from above, the blades (170) can be spaced apart at an angle of 120 degrees relative to the center of the column portion (150).

[0121] The blade (170) may be extended along a direction inclined with respect to the longitudinal direction (L) or circumferential direction of the column portion (150). The blade (170) may be extended obliquely from the bottom portion (110) side to the open surface side on the outer surface of the column portion (150). The extended length of the blade (170) may vary as needed.

[0122] As the blade (170) extends in an inclined direction, when the rotating part (100) rotates, an upward or downward water flow can be formed in the water inside the drum (30) by the blade (170) of the column part (150).

[0123] For example, in one embodiment of the present invention, the rotating part (100) can be rotated in one direction (C1) and the other direction (C2), and the blade (170) can be inclined toward the other direction (C2) with respect to the longitudinal direction (L) of the column part (150) and extend from the lower part (171) to the upper part (173).

[0124] Accordingly, when the rotating part (100) rotates in the above-mentioned direction (C1), an upward water flow can be formed by the inclined shape of the blade (170), and when the rotating part (100) rotates in the other direction (C2), a downward water flow can be formed by the blade (170).

[0125] In one embodiment of the present invention, a plurality of blades (170) are provided and spaced apart from each other, so that a uniform water flow can be formed by the column, and due to the inclined extension shape of the blades (170), when the rotating part (100) rotates, a water flow in the form of a simple rotation can be generated, such as an upward water flow in which water at the bottom of the drum (30) moves to the upper side or a downward water flow in which water at the top of the drum (30) moves to the lower side.

[0126] In one embodiment of the present invention, a three-dimensional water flow can be formed through the rotating part (100), and thus the washing efficiency of the laundry during the washing process can be greatly improved. In addition, various washing motions of the rotating part (100) can be provided by appropriately utilizing the rising water flow and the falling water flow.

[0127] The blade (170) of the present invention may correspond to a screw shape. That is, the blade (170) may be provided in a plurality and spaced apart along the circumferential direction of the column portion (150), and may extend in a screw shape from a lower portion (171) facing the bottom portion (110) to an upper portion (173) facing the open surface.

[0128] In other words, in one embodiment of the present invention, the column portion (150) may be extended such that the plurality of blades (170) are wound around the outer surface from the lower portion (152) facing the bottom portion (110) to the upper portion (154) facing the open surface.

[0129] Meanwhile, FIG. 4 shows a side view of a rotating part (100) according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 4, in an embodiment of the present invention, the blade (170) is inclined toward the other direction (C2) with respect to the longitudinal direction (L) of the column part (150) and can be extended from the lower part (171) to the upper part (173).

[0130] That is, the blade (170) may be extended to form an angle of inclination (A) with respect to the rotational direction of the bottom part (110) or the rotating part (100), and the upper part (173) of the blade (170) may be provided at a position spaced apart in the other direction (C2) from the lower part (171) of the blade (170).

[0131] If the inclination direction of the blade (170) changes from the other direction (C2) to the one direction (C1) during extension, when the rotating part (100) rotates, a part of the blade (170) may generate an upward water flow and the remaining part may generate a downward water flow, so it may be difficult to maximize the effect of either the rising or falling of the water.

[0132] Accordingly, in one embodiment of the present invention, the blade (170) may be extended and inclined only toward the other direction (C2) with respect to the longitudinal direction (L) of the column portion (150), but the angle of inclination (A) or specific shape of the blade (170) may be determined in various ways. One direction (C1) may be either clockwise or counterclockwise, and the other direction (C2) may be the other one.

[0133] In one embodiment of the present invention, the blade (170) may be continuously extended from the lower portion (171) to the upper portion (173). The blade (170) may be continuously extended at an angle along the longitudinal direction (L) of the column portion (150) from the lower portion (171) to the upper portion (173). That is, the blade (170) may be provided in an angled shape as a whole without any part parallel to the longitudinal direction (L) of the column portion (150).

[0134] The length of the column section (150) may be related to washing performance and the load of the drive section (50). For example, if the length of the column section (150) is increased, washing performance may be improved, but an excessive load may be applied to the drive section (50), and if the length of the column section (150) is decreased, the load of the drive section (50) may be reduced, but washing performance may also be reduced.

[0135] Considering the above relationship, in one embodiment of the present invention, the ratio between the length of the column portion (150) and the diameter of the bottom portion (110) can be determined. If the length of the column portion (150) is excessively short, when the amount of laundry is large and the amount of water supplied is large, the area where water flow is formed by the column portion (150) and the blade (170) is reduced relative to the total area, and thus the washing performance may be degraded.

[0136] If the length of the column part (150) becomes excessively long, the excess length of the column part (150) that does not come into contact with the laundry and water during the washing process becomes excessive, which leads to material loss and may result in an unnecessary increase in load on the drive part (50).

[0137] Additionally, the bottom portion (110) has a protrusion (130) formed to contribute to the formation of a water flow, and thus the length relationship between the bottom portion (110) and the column portion (150) corresponds to determining the influence of the water flow by the bottom portion (110) and the influence of the water flow by the column portion (150).

[0138] The protrusion (130) may include a main protrusion (132) having the highest height and an inner end (133) connected to a column (150), a first sub-protrusion (135) provided between a pair of main protrusions (132) and having a lower height than the main protrusion (132), and a second sub-protrusion (137) provided between the first sub-protrusion (135) and the main protrusion (132) and having a lower height than the first sub-protrusion (135).

[0139] The diameter of the bottom portion (110) can be determined in various ways by considering the diameter of the column portion (150), the size of the tub (20) and drum (30) of the clothing processing device (1), the capacity of laundry allowed in the clothing processing device (1), and the amount of water supplied accordingly.

[0140] The length of the column portion (150) can be determined in various ways by considering the diameter of the drum (30), as well as the height of the drum (30), the diameter of the column portion (150), the angle of inclination (A) of the blade (170), etc.

[0141] Since the bottom part (110) is positioned on the bottom surface of the drum (30) and rotates, the diameter of the bottom part (110) relative to the diameter of the drum (30) needs to be considered. If the diameter of the bottom part (110) is too small, the influence of the water flow caused by the rotation of the bottom part (110) may be excessively small, and if the diameter of the bottom part (110) is too large, it is easy for laundry to get stuck and the rotation becomes disadvantageous depending on the load of the drive unit (50), etc.

[0142] The diameter of the drum (30) can be determined in various ways by considering the capacity of laundry or water supply allowed in the clothing processing device (1) and the relationship with the tub (20).

[0143] Meanwhile, the height of the blade (170) can be determined by considering the relationship between the amount of water flow rising and falling due to the blade (170) and the load of the drive unit (50).

[0144] For example, the lower the height of the blade (170), the smaller the area where the blade (170) is formed, and the rising and falling amounts of the water flow may be reduced.

[0145] Additionally, the higher the height of the blade (170), the stronger the force of water flow formation by the blade (170), but the load on the driving unit (50) may increase. Also, the height of the blade (170) may be related to the angle of inclination (A) of the blade (170), the diameter of the column part (150), etc.

[0146] The height of the blade (170) can be varied depending on the size of the drum (30), the diameter of the bottom part (110), the height of the column part (150), the height of the protrusion (130), the position of the cap part (165), etc.

[0147] The length extending from the lower part (171) to the upper part (173) along the extension direction of the blade (170) can be defined as the extension length of the blade (170), and the height from the lower part (171) to the upper part (173) of the blade (170) can be defined as the height of the blade (170).

[0148] For example, if the number of turns in which the blade (170) is wound around the column (150) at the same height of the blade (170) increases, the extension length of the blade (170) can be increased.

[0149] As the extension length of the blade (170) increases according to the height of the blade (170), the contact area between the blade (170) and the water increases and the angle of inclination (A) of the blade (170) can increase, so the influence of water flow formation on the water can increase, but the load of the driving unit (50) can also increase.

[0150] On the other hand, if the extension length of the blade (170) is reduced excessively, the load on the drive unit (50) may be reduced, but the ability to form a water flow may be reduced excessively, which may reduce washing efficiency.

[0151] The extension length of the blade (170) can be determined in various ways depending on the height of the blade (170), the diameter of the column part (150), the angle of inclination (A) of the blade (170), the load of the driving part (50), the level of water flow formation, etc.

[0152] Meanwhile, referring to FIG. 4, in one embodiment of the present invention, the blade (170) may have an angle of inclination (A) with respect to the circumferential direction of the column portion (150) that is extended at a constant rate. The blade (170) is provided on the outer surface of the column portion (150) and extends from a lower portion (171) facing the bottom portion (110) to an upper portion (173) facing the upper surface (31) of the drum (30), and extends in a shape inclined with respect to the longitudinal direction (L) or circumferential direction of the column portion (150), and the angle of inclination (A) with respect to the circumferential direction of the column portion (150) may be extended at a constant rate.

[0153] When the angle of inclination (A) of the blade (170) changes, the angle of inclination (A) of the blade (170) changes according to the height of the column portion (150), so the level of occurrence of rising and falling water currents may differ. In addition, during the process of forming the blade (170) on the outer surface of the column portion (150), the change in the angle of inclination (A) of the blade (170) may be disadvantageous in manufacturing and may result in limitations on the manufacturing method.

[0154] For example, if the angle of inclination (A) of the blade (170) is set to be constant, a constant upward and downward flow can be expected to be formed over the entire length of the column section (150), and the mold can be simply rotated and separated during the process of forming the column section (150) and the blade (170) as a single unit, which can be advantageous for manufacturing.

[0155] Meanwhile, a clothing processing device (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention may include a tub (20), a drum (30), a water supply unit (60), a detergent supply unit (25), a rotating unit (100), and a driving unit (50) as described above.

[0156] The tub (20) includes a space for storing water, and the drum (30) is provided inside the tub (20), with the top surface (31) open to allow clothing to be inserted, and can be provided to be rotatable inside the tub (20).

[0157] The water supply unit (60) may be provided to supply water to the tub (20), and the detergent supply unit (25) may be provided to supply detergent to the tub (20). The rotating unit (100) may be rotatably installed on the lower surface (33) of the drum (30).

[0158] The driving unit (50) may be provided to provide rotational force to the rotating unit (100). Additionally, the driving unit (50) may be provided to provide rotational force to the rotating unit (100) and the drum (30), respectively.

[0159] Referring to FIG. 2, as described above, the driving unit (50) can rotate the rotating unit (100) and / or the drum (30) through the rotating shaft (40). The rotating shaft (40) may include a first rotating shaft (41) and a second rotating shaft (42), the first rotating shaft (41) may be connected to the drum (30), and the second rotating shaft (42) may be connected to the rotating unit (100).

[0160] The gear set (45) is connected to the drive unit (50) and may include a clutch element (46) that is connected to the first rotation shaft (41) and the second rotation shaft (42) to transmit power from the drive unit (50) to the first rotation shaft (41) and the second rotation shaft (42), and is configured to selectively restrain the first rotation shaft (41) to the second rotation shaft (42).

[0161] The control unit (70) can control the rotation direction of the drum (30) and the rotating unit (100) by controlling the clutch element (46). For example, as described above, the control unit (70) can control the second clutch element (48) among the clutch elements (46) to synchronize the rotation of the first rotating shaft (41) and the second rotating shaft (42), and can control them in the opposite way. The control unit (70) can determine the washing motion of the rotating unit (100) and the drum (30) by controlling the driving unit (50).

[0162] Meanwhile, the rotating part (100) may include a bottom part (110) located on the lower surface (33) of the drum (30) and a column part (150) protruding upward from the bottom part (110) and having a blade (170) provided on its outer surface.

[0163] Referring again to FIG. 4, the blade (170) is extended at an angle with respect to the longitudinal direction (L) of the column portion (150) so as to form an upward water flow when the rotating portion (100) rotates in one direction (C1) and a downward water flow when it rotates in the other direction (C2).

[0164] That is, the rotating part (100) can perform various washing motions by utilizing the rising and falling water currents generated by the blade (170). Accordingly, the rotating part (100) can improve washing efficiency by forming a three-dimensional water current. The washing motions may include a lifting motion and a power motion. The lifting motion may include an upward motion (M1) and a downward motion (M2).

[0165] FIG. 5 is a diagram showing the distribution motion of a rotating part according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 6 is a graph showing the amount of rotation of the rotating part in the distribution motion according to an embodiment of the present invention.

[0166] Referring to FIGS. 5 and 6, a clothing processing device (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention may include a tub (20) in which water is stored internally as described above, a water supply unit (60) provided to provide water supplied to the tub (20), a drum (30) provided inside the tub (20) and having an open top surface (31) into which clothing is fed, a rotating unit (100) rotatably installed on the bottom surface (33) of the drum (30), a driving unit (50) provided to provide rotational force to the rotating unit, and a control unit (70) provided to control the driving unit (50). The rotating unit (100) may include a bottom part (110) located on the bottom surface (33) of the drum (30) and a column part (150) protruding upward from the bottom part (110) and having a blade provided on its outer surface (162).

[0167] Meanwhile, the washing process (P100) of the clothing processing device (1) may include a water supply process (P40) in which water is supplied into the tub (20) through the water supply unit (60) at least once. The control unit (70) may control the driving unit (50) so that the rotating unit (100) performs a distribution motion (N) after the water supply process (P40) ends. A space may be formed between the clothing and the blade (170) by the distribution motion (N). Additionally, the control unit (70) may control the driving unit (50) so that the rotating unit (100) performs a washing motion to form a water flow after the distribution motion (N).

[0168] That is, the above water supply process (P40) may be a process of providing water for washing clothes through the above water supply unit (60). In addition, the above rotating unit (100) can form a three-dimensional water flow using the water supplied through the above water supply unit (60) in the washing motion. The water flow formed by the above rotating unit (100) can cause the laundry to bend and contract during the washing motion. It can also generate friction between the laundry. Accordingly, the laundry can be cleaned and contaminants removed through the above water supply process (P40) and the above washing motion.

[0169] Accordingly, the distribution motion (N) may be performed after the water supply process (P40) ends and before the washing motion. That is, water is required for the clothing to be washed, and a process of removing contaminants by water flow may be required. The distribution motion (N) may be performed between the water supply process (P40) and the washing motion to form a space between the clothing and the blade (170).

[0170] Thus, when the washing motion is performed, entanglement between the clothing, the blade (170), and the pillar (150) can be prevented to the maximum extent. Additionally, when the washing motion is performed, it is easy to form a three-dimensional water flow by the blade (170). Furthermore, the moment of inertia acting on the rotating part (100) when the washing motion is performed can be reduced, and the driving load of the driving part (50) for rotating the rotating part (100) can be reduced. In addition, the driving part (50) can be easily controlled as the driving load is reduced when the washing motion is performed.

[0171] In particular, the above water supply process (P40) may frequently be performed during the initial startup of the washing process (P100). Accordingly, the failure of the initial startup of the washing process (P100) can be prevented as much as possible by the distribution motion (N) performed after the above water supply process (P40), and the washing efficiency of the clothing processing device (1) can be increased.

[0172] The control unit (70) can control the driving unit (50) such that the amount of rotation of the rotating unit (100) in the distribution motion (N) is smaller than the amount of rotation of the rotating unit (100) in the washing motion. In the washing motion, the rotating unit (100) may rotate more strongly than in the distribution motion (N) to form a water flow for washing. Conversely, in the distribution motion, the rotating unit (100) may rotate less weakly than in the washing motion to prevent tangling of the clothing and to form a space between the clothing and the blade (170).

[0173] Thus, the rotating part (100) can effectively form a space between the garment and the blade (170) in the distribution motion (N). In addition, the rotating part (100) can effectively form a water flow for washing in the washing motion.

[0174] Referring to FIG. 6, FIG. 6 illustrates that the rotating part (100) performs two initial starts in a distributed motion. The x-axis of the graph represents time, and the y-axis represents RPM. Additionally, the area under the graph represents the amount of rotation.

[0175] The control unit (70) can control the driving unit (50) such that the rotational speed (v1) of the rotating unit (100) in the distribution motion (N) is smaller than the rotational speed (v2) of the rotating unit (100) in the washing motion. That is, the time taken for the distribution motion (N) to be performed once and the time taken for the washing motion to be performed once may be the same. The rotational speed (v1) of the rotating unit (100) in the distribution motion (N) can be controlled to be smaller than the rotational speed (v2) of the rotating unit (100) in the washing motion. Accordingly, the amount of rotation of the rotating unit (100) in the distribution motion (N) can be controlled to be smaller than the amount of rotation of the rotating unit (100) in the washing motion.

[0176] That is, in the washing motion, the rotational speed (v2) of the rotating part (100) can be controlled to be relatively fast to form a three-dimensional water flow for washing. In addition, in the distribution motion (N), the rotational speed (v1) of the rotating part (100) can be controlled to be relatively slow to prevent the phenomenon of clothing getting tangled on the blade (170) and the column part (150) as much as possible.

[0177] Thus, when the washing motion is performed after the distribution motion (N), entanglement between the clothing, the blade (170), and the pillar (150) can be prevented to the maximum extent.

[0178] FIG. 6 illustrates that the rotational speed (v1) of the rotating part (100) in the distribution motion (N) is less than or equal to 0.5 times the rotational speed (v2) of the rotating part (100) in the washing motion. However, this interpretation is not limited thereto, and the rotational speed (v1) of the rotating part (100) in the distribution motion (N) can be determined by considering the length of the column part (150), the length of the blade (170), the protrusion height of the blade (170), the shape of the blade (170), the diameter of the drum (30), the amount of laundry being fed, the water level of the tub (20), the rotational speed (v2) of the rotating part (100) in the washing motion, etc.

[0179] Meanwhile, the tub (20) may be provided with a water level sensor capable of measuring the water level of the tub (20). The control unit (70) can determine the water level of the tub (20) through the water level sensor. Additionally, the control unit (70) can control the driving unit (50) so that the rotating unit (100) performs the distribution motion (N) only when the water level of the tub (20) is above the distribution reference water level (H2).

[0180] That is, when a large amount of laundry is fed into the rotating part (100) during the washing motion, the entanglement of laundry on the blade (170) and the column part (150) due to the rotation of the rotating part (100) may increase compared to when a small amount of laundry is fed. That is, it can be said that it is preferable for the rotating part (100) to perform the distribution motion (N) before the washing motion when a large amount of laundry is fed. In other words, when a large amount of laundry is fed into the rotating part (100), the effect of reducing the moment of inertia of the rotating part (100) and the reduction rate of the driving load of the driving part (50) during the washing motion by the distribution motion (N) may increase compared to when a small amount of laundry is fed into the rotating part (100).

[0181] Additionally, when a small amount of laundry is introduced, the rotating part (100) may have a small amount of entanglement of laundry on the blade (170) and the column part (150) during the washing motion. Accordingly, the effect of the moment of inertia acting on the rotating part (100) and the driving load of the driving part (50) due to the entanglement phenomenon can be ignored.

[0182] Accordingly, the control unit (70) can control the driving unit (50) so that the rotating unit (100) performs the distribution motion (N) only when a large amount of laundry is introduced. The control unit (70) can determine whether a large amount of laundry has been introduced by determining the water level of the tub (20). The distribution reference water level (H2) may be a water level at which the occurrence of tangling of the laundry increases rapidly during the washing motion.

[0183] For example, the distribution reference water level (H2) may be determined to be at least 0.6 times the maximum water level (H1) of the tub (20) and no more than 0.8 times the maximum water level (H1) of the tub (20). However, this is merely an example, and the determination of the distribution reference water level (H2) may be determined as a result of repeated experiments or theoretical calculations, and may be determined in various ways from a strategic perspective regarding the performance of the washing process (P100).

[0184] In addition, there may be various methods for determining whether a large amount of laundry has been introduced. That is, the tub (20) or the drum (30) may be equipped with a weight sensor, etc., and the method for determining whether a large amount of laundry has been introduced through the weight sensor may be determined by considering the size of the garment processing device (1), the size of the rotating part (100), and the usage requirements of the garment processing device (1).

[0185] The above distribution motion (N) may include a first distribution motion (N1) in which the rotating part (100) is rotated in one direction (C1) and a second distribution motion (N2) in which the rotating part (100) is rotated in the other direction (C2). That is, the control unit (70) can control the driving unit (50) to perform the second distribution motion (N2) after performing the first distribution motion (N1) in which the rotating part (100) is rotated in one direction (C1).

[0186] If the rotating part (100) rotates in only one direction, the formation of a space between the garment, the blade (170), and the pillar part (150) in the distribution motion (N) can be prevented. Furthermore, entanglement of the garment may occur in the distribution motion (N). Accordingly, the control unit can efficiently form a space between the garment, the blade (170), and the pillar part (150) by controlling the driving unit (50) so that the rotating part (100) performs the first distribution motion (N1) and the second distribution motion (N2) in sequence.

[0187] Additionally, the execution order of the second distribution motion (N2) and the first distribution motion (N1) can be determined in various ways. If the rotating part (100) rotates in one direction (C1) during the washing motion that proceeds after the end of the distribution motion (N), the first distribution motion (N1) may be performed first and the second distribution motion (N2) may be performed on the rotating part (100). Conversely, if the rotating part (100) rotates in the other direction (C2) during the washing motion that proceeds after the end of the distribution motion (N), the second distribution motion (N2) may be performed first and the first distribution motion (N1) may be performed on the rotating part (100). The control unit (70) can control the driving unit (50) so that the distribution motion (N) is terminated in a direction opposite to the direction in which the rotating part (100) rotates during the washing motion. Thus, the tangling of laundry can be effectively prevented in the above washing motion.

[0188] The first distribution motion (N1) and the second distribution motion (N2) may each be performed once. That is, the first distribution motion (N1) and the second distribution motion (N2) may be performed as infrequently as possible to reduce the number of driving cycles of the driving unit (50). In this way, the clothing processing device (1) can save power consumption during operation. Accordingly, FIG. 6 illustrates that the first distribution motion (N1) and the second distribution motion (N2) are each performed once. However, the number of times the first distribution motion (N1) and the second distribution motion (N2) are performed is not limited thereto and can be determined in various ways by considering the capacity of the laundry, the size of the drum (30), the size of the rotating part (100), the length of the column part (150), the length of the blade (170), the radial protrusion length of the column part (150) of the blade (170), etc.

[0189] Meanwhile, in FIG. 5, the first distribution rotation amount (U1) and the second distribution rotation amount (U2) are conceptually represented by arrows. Referring to FIG. 5, in a clothing processing device (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention, the rotating part (100) can be rotated by the first distribution rotation amount (U1) in the first distribution motion (N1). In addition, the rotating part (100) can be rotated by the second distribution rotation amount (U2) in the second distribution motion (N2).

[0190] That is, the control unit (70) can control the drive unit (50) so that the rotating unit (100) rotates by a first distribution rotation amount (U1) in the first distribution motion (N1). Additionally, the control unit (70) can control the drive unit so that the rotating unit (100) rotates by a second distribution rotation amount (U2) in the second distribution motion (N2). Furthermore, the control unit (70) can control the drive unit (50) so that the first distribution rotation amount (U1) and the second distribution rotation amount (U2) are equal.

[0191] Accordingly, the rotating part (100) can form a first space in one direction (C1) between the garment, the blade (170), and the column part (150). Additionally, the rotating part (100) can form a second space with the same area as the first space in the other direction between the garment, the blade (170), and the column part (150). In other words, the rotating part (100) can form a uniform space along the circumference of the rotating part (100).

[0192] Thus, when the washing motion is performed after the distribution motion (N), entanglement between the clothing, the blade (170), and the pillar (150) can be prevented to the maximum extent. Additionally, when the washing motion is performed, it is easy to form a three-dimensional water flow by the blade (170). Furthermore, the moment of inertia acting on the rotating part (100) during the washing motion can be reduced, and the driving load of the driving part (50) rotating the rotating part (100) can be reduced. In addition, the driving part (50) can be easily controlled as the driving load is reduced during the washing motion. In particular, failure of operation during the initial start of the washing process (P100) can be prevented to the maximum extent. Furthermore, the washing efficiency of the clothing processing device (1) can be increased.

[0193] The amount of rotation of the above-mentioned rotating part (100) may refer to the rotation angle of the above-mentioned rotating part (100). That is, the first distribution amount of rotation (U1) may be the angle at which the above-mentioned rotating part (100) rotates in the first distribution motion (N1). Additionally, the second distribution amount of rotation (U2) may be the angle at which the above-mentioned rotating part (100) rotates in the second distribution motion (N2).

[0194] For example, the first distribution rotation amount (U1) and the second distribution rotation amount (U2) may be set to be less than 180 degrees. This is because if the rotating part (100) rotates more than 180 degrees, the entanglement of the clothing on the column part (150) and the blade (170) may increase. Additionally, preferably, the first distribution rotation amount (U1) and the second distribution rotation amount (U2) may be set to be less than 90 degrees. This is because the rotating part (100) prevents the entanglement of the clothing and allows sufficient space to be formed between the clothing and the blade (170) and the column part (150). Additionally, more preferably, the first distribution rotation amount (U1) and the second distribution rotation amount (U2) may be set between 15 degrees and 45 degrees. In this case, the rotating part (100) prevents the clothing from getting tangled, and sufficient space is formed between the clothing, the blade (170), and the column part (150), thereby reducing the driving load of the driving part (50) to the maximum extent. However, this interpretation is not limited thereto, and the determination of the first distributed rotation amount (U1) and the second distributed rotation amount (U2) can be determined as a result of repeated experiments or theoretical calculations, and can be determined in various ways from a strategic perspective regarding the performance of the washing process (P100).

[0195] For example, the first distribution rotation amount (U1) and the second distribution rotation amount (U2) can be set to be smaller than 1 / 4 (0.25) times the first rotation amount (R1) described later. That is, the first rotation amount (R1) can be set to a value that allows the rotating part (100) to form a three-dimensional water flow during the upward motion (M1). Accordingly, the first distribution rotation amount (U1) and the second distribution rotation amount (U2) are set to be smaller than 1 / 4 (0.25) times the first rotation amount (R1), so that sufficient space can be formed between the clothing and the blade (170) during the distribution motion (N). Thus, the rotating part (100) can form a three-dimensional water flow while preventing the clothing from tangling as much as possible during the washing motion. Additionally, preferably, the first distribution rotation amount (U1) and the second distribution rotation amount (U2) can be set to be greater than 1 / 48 times the first rotation amount (R1) and less than 1 / 16 times the first rotation amount (R1). By doing so, the rotating part (100) can prevent the entanglement of clothing in the washing motion as much as possible, form a three-dimensional water flow, and reduce the driving load of the driving part (50) as much as possible.

[0196] For example, the first distribution rotation amount (U1) and the second distribution rotation amount (U2) can be set to be smaller than 1 / 4 (0.25) times the third rotation amount (R3) described later. That is, the third rotation amount (R3) can be set to a value that allows the rotating part (100) to form a three-dimensional water flow during the downward motion (M2). Accordingly, the first distribution rotation amount (U1) and the second distribution rotation amount (U2) are set to be smaller than 1 / 4 (0.25) times the third rotation amount (R3), so that sufficient space can be formed between the clothing and the blade (170) during the distribution motion (N). Thus, the rotating part (100) can form a three-dimensional water flow while minimizing entanglement of the clothing during the washing motion. Additionally, preferably, the first distributed rotation amount (U1) and the second distributed rotation amount (U2) may be set to be greater than 1 / 48 times the third rotation amount (R3) and less than 1 / 16 times the third rotation amount (R3). By doing so, the rotating part (100) can prevent the entanglement of clothing in the washing motion as much as possible, form a three-dimensional water flow, and reduce the driving load of the driving part (50) as much as possible. In addition, the first rotation amount (R1) may have the same value as the third rotation amount (R3).

[0197] Meanwhile, FIG. 10 conceptually illustrates the operation sequence of a washing process (P100) of clothing by a clothing processing device (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention. In FIG. 10, the horizontal axis is the axis corresponding to time (t).

[0198] FIG. 10 illustrates a washing process (P10), a rinsing process (P20), and a spin-drying process (P30), and illustrates a water supply process (P40) that can be performed in each process, and a section where any one of the plurality of washing motions can be performed is indicated by a dotted line area. However, in one embodiment of the present invention, the washing process (P100) is not necessarily limited to the content illustrated in FIG. 10.

[0199] As described above, in one embodiment of the present invention, the washing process (P100) may include at least one of a washing process (P10), a rinsing process (P20), and a dehydration process (P30), and the number or order of each process may vary.

[0200] Referring to FIG. 10, the washing process (P100) includes at least one water supply process (P40) in which water is supplied into the tub (20) through the water supply unit (60), and the control unit (70) can control the driving unit (50) so that the rotating unit performs a distribution motion (N) within the water supply distribution standard time (t1) after the end of the water supply process (P40). Additionally, the control unit (70) can control the driving unit (50) so that the rotating unit (100) performs the washing motion within the water supply washing standard time (t2) after the distribution motion (N). The fact that the rotating part (100) performs the washing motion within the water supply washing standard time (t2) after the distribution motion (N) may mean that the rotating part (100) performs the lifting motion to be described later within the water supply washing standard time (t2) after the distribution motion (N).

[0201] The above water supply process (P40) may be included in at least one of the washing process (P10), the rinsing process (P20), and the dehydration process (P30), and may also be performed independently. FIG. 10 illustrates the water supply process (P40) being performed in the washing process (P10) and the rinsing process (P20), respectively.

[0202] Although FIG. 10 depicts a water supply process (P40) being performed once in each of the washing process (P10) and rinsing process (P20), this is for convenience of explanation only and is not necessarily limited to what is shown in FIG. 10, and the number of times or the duration of the water supply process (P40) can be set in various ways as needed.

[0203] In the above water supply process (P40), water supplied from the water supply unit (60) may be provided inside the tub (20). When water is introduced into the tub (20) through the above water supply process (P40) for both the washing process (P10) and the rinsing process (P20), the rotating unit (100) forms a space between the clothing and the rotating unit (100), and after the space is formed, the active mixing process between the water introduced into the tub (20) and the laundry through the formation of a three-dimensional water flow using the rotating unit (100) can improve washing efficiency.

[0204] Accordingly, in one embodiment of the present invention, the control unit (70) can control the driving unit (50) so that the distribution motion (N) is performed within the water supply distribution reference time (t1) after the end of the water supply process (P40), and the rotating unit (100) performs the washing motion within the water supply washing reference time (t2) after the distribution motion (N). The number of times the distribution motion (N) and the washing motion are performed can be determined in various ways as needed.

[0205] The above water supply distribution standard time (t1) may be a time pre-set in the control unit (70), or it may be the time from the start of the water supply process (P40) until the point in time when the distribution motion (N) is repeatedly performed by the control unit (70) and terminated. Additionally, the above water supply washing standard time (t2) may be a time pre-set in the control unit (70), or it may be the time from the start of the water supply process (P40) until the point in time when the washing motion is repeatedly performed by the control unit (70) and terminated. The above water supply distribution standard time (t1) and the above water supply washing standard time (t2) are conceptually shown in FIG. 10.

[0206] In one embodiment of the present invention, the washing process (P100) may include a washing process (P10) in which detergent is supplied from the detergent supply unit (25) to the tub (20) and foreign matter is removed from the clothing. As described above, the washing process (P10) may include the water supply process (P40) at least once.

[0207] The control unit (70) can control the driving unit (50) so that the rotating unit (100) performs the distribution motion (N) within the washing distribution reference time (t3) after the start of the washing process (P10). In FIG. 10, the section in which the distribution motion (N) is performed within the washing distribution reference time (t3) after the start of the washing process (P10) according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown as a dotted line area.

[0208] After the washing process (P10) begins, water and detergent may be supplied into the tub (20) or the drum (30). At the beginning of the washing process (P10), the detergent needs to be mixed with the water and laundry. The rotating part (100) may form a space between the clothing and the blade (170) and the column part (150) to increase the mixing effect of the detergent with the water and laundry.

[0209] Accordingly, one embodiment of the present invention can induce rapid dissolution of the detergent and increase the moisture content and detergent reaction of the entire laundry by ensuring that the distribution motion (N) is performed within the washing distribution reference time (t3) after the start of the washing process (P10). Furthermore, rapid dissolution of the detergent and further increase the moisture content and detergent reaction of the entire laundry can also be induced in the washing motion performed after the distribution motion (N).

[0210] The above washing distribution reference time (t3) may be a time pre-set in the control unit (70), or it may be the time from the start of the washing process (P10) until the point in time when the distribution motion (N) is performed repeatedly by the control unit (70) at the beginning of the washing process (P10) and terminated. The washing distribution reference time (t3) is conceptually shown in FIG. 10.

[0211] Meanwhile, the washing process (P100) may further include a rinsing process (P20) in which water is supplied from the water supply unit (60) to the tub (20) after the washing process (P10) and foreign matter is discharged from the tub (20).

[0212] Fig. 10 conceptually illustrates a rinsing process (P20) performed after a washing process (P10). However, the number or sequence of the rinsing process (P20) is not necessarily limited to this.

[0213] The control unit (70) can control the driving unit (50) so that the rotating unit (100) performs the distribution motion (N) within the rinsing distribution reference time (t4) after the start of the rinsing process (P20). FIG. 10 shows the section in which the distribution motion (N) is performed within the rinsing distribution reference time (t4) during the rinsing process (P20).

[0214] During the initial stage of the rinsing process (P20), a water supply process (P40) in which water is supplied into the drum (30) may be carried out. Since foreign matter may remain on the laundry after the washing process (P10), it may be advantageous for rinsing efficiency to flow the laundry through the three-dimensional formation of the water flow and allow the water flow to pass through the laundry. The rotating part (100) may form a space between the garment, the blade (170), and the column part (150) to facilitate the flow of the laundry through the three-dimensional formation of the water flow and the passage of the water flow through the laundry.

[0215] Accordingly, in one embodiment of the present invention, the control unit (70) can control the driving unit (50) so that the rotating unit (100) performs the distribution motion (N) within the rinsing distribution reference time (t4) after the start of the rinsing process (P20).

[0216] The above rinsing distribution reference time (t4) may be a time pre-set in the control unit (70), or it may be the time from the start of the rinsing process (P20) until the point in time when the distribution motion (N) is repeatedly performed by the control unit (70) at the beginning of the rinsing process (P20) and terminated. The above rinsing distribution reference time (t4) is conceptually shown in FIG. 10. In addition, the above water supply distribution reference time (t1) may be set to be the same as or different from the washing distribution reference time (t3) and the rinsing distribution reference time (t4).

[0217] Meanwhile, referring to FIG. 10, a distribution motion (N) according to one embodiment of the present invention may include a first distribution motion (N1), a second distribution motion (N2), and a stop motion (NS). The control unit (70) may perform the stop motion (NS) after the first distribution motion (N1), and perform the second distribution motion (N2) after the stop motion (NS). The clothing receives an inertial force in one direction (C1) by the first distribution motion (N1). Accordingly, when the second distribution motion (N2) is performed immediately after the first distribution motion (N1), the rotating unit (100) can prevent a space from being formed between the clothing and the blade (170) due to the inertial force.

[0218] The control unit (70) can control the driving unit (50) so that the rotating unit (100) performs the stopping motion (NS) after the first distribution motion (N1), thereby minimizing the influence of inertia force. Additionally, if the second distribution motion (N2) is performed first, the control unit (70) can perform the stopping motion (NS) after the second distribution motion (N2), and perform the first distribution motion (N1) after the stopping motion (NS).

[0219] The above stop motion (NS) may be performed for a stop reference time (ts). The above stop reference time (ts) may be the time during which the inertial force caused by the first distribution motion (N1) or the second distribution motion (N2) can be removed after the first distribution motion (N1) or the second distribution motion (N2) is performed. The above stop reference time (ts) may be determined as a result of repeated experiments or theoretical calculations, and may be determined in various ways from a strategic perspective regarding the execution of the washing process (P100).

[0220] FIG. 7 is a drawing showing the upward motion of a rotating part in a clothing processing device according to one embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 8 is a drawing showing the downward motion of a rotating part in a clothing processing device according to one embodiment of the present invention.

[0221] Referring to FIGS. 7 and 8, in a garment processing device according to one embodiment of the present invention, the washing motion may include a lifting motion to form a downward water flow. The control unit (70) may control the driving unit (50) so that the rotating unit (100) performs a lifting motion to form an upward water flow or a downward water flow at least once during the washing process (P100) of the garment.

[0222] Specifically, in one embodiment of the present invention, the lifting motion can form an upward or downward water flow as a result of one cycle. As described above, as the blade (170) is inclined and extended toward the other direction (C2), when the rotating part (100) rotates in one direction (C1), an upward water flow is formed in the water inside the tub (20), and when the rotating part (100) rotates in the other direction (C2), a downward water flow can be formed.

[0223] In one embodiment of the present invention, various washing motions of the rotating part (100) can be performed, and the washing motions of the rotating part (100) can be implemented by the control part (70) controlling the driving part (50). In one embodiment of the present invention, each washing motion may include a plurality of rotations with different rotation directions in one motion cycle. The various washing motions can be pre-set in the control part (70), and the control part (70) can control the driving part (50) based on the set washing motions.

[0224] The control unit (70) can control the driving unit (50) so that the rotation according to the one direction (C1) and the rotation according to the other direction (C2) of the rotating unit (100) in the lifting motion are each performed with different amounts of rotation.

[0225] That is, in one embodiment of the present invention, the lifting motion may be performed in one cycle by including rotation in one direction (C1) and rotation in the other direction (C2) together with rotation in the other direction (C2) of the rotating part (100), and the number of rotations in the one direction (C1), the number of rotations in the other direction (C2), and the amount of rotation may be determined in various ways.

[0226] Meanwhile, in one embodiment of the present invention, the lifting motion can ultimately realize the water flow characteristics required in the lifting motion through the difference in the amount of rotation between the rotation in one direction (C1) and the rotation in the other direction (C2) of the rotating part (100).

[0227] For example, during the upward motion (M1) of the lifting motion, the driving unit (50) can be controlled by the control unit (70) so that the amount of rotation in one direction (C1) is greater than the amount of rotation in the other direction (C2).

[0228] The rotating part (100) forms an upward current when rotating in one direction (C1) and a downward current when rotating in the other direction (C2). In the upward motion (M1), the rotating part (100) is rotated such that the amount of rotation in one direction (C1) is greater than the amount of rotation in the other direction (C2). Therefore, when the upward motion (M1) of the rotating part (100) is performed, an upward current can ultimately be generated.

[0229] Additionally, during the lowering motion (M2) in the lifting motion, the driving unit (50) can be controlled by the control unit (70) so that the amount of rotation in the other direction (C2) is greater than the amount of rotation in the one direction (C1).

[0230] Since the amount of rotation of the rotating part (100) in the other direction (C2) during the downward motion (M2) is greater than the amount of rotation in the one direction (C1), it can be understood that when the downward motion (M2) of the rotating part (100) is performed, a downward water flow is ultimately generated.

[0231] In one embodiment of the present invention, since rotation in one direction (C1) and rotation in the other direction (C2) are performed together in one cycle of the lifting motion, the phenomenon of laundry being wrapped around the column part (150) can be minimized.

[0232] For example, if the rotating part (100) rotates in only one direction (C1) or the other direction (C2) during the lifting motion, an upward or downward water flow can be generated, but the laundry around the column part (150) may be wound by the rotation of the rotating part (100), which may increase the load on the driving part (50), reduce the flow of the laundry, thereby reducing washing efficiency, and may restrict subsequent rotation of the column part (150).

[0233] Accordingly, in one embodiment of the present invention, since a unidirectional (C1) rotation and a nondirectional (C2) rotation are performed together in a lifting motion to form an upward or downward water flow, the drying phenomenon of the laundry is minimized, and the desired water flow can be effectively formed in the motion through the difference in the amount of rotation between the unidirectional (C1) rotation and the nondirectional (C2) rotation, thereby improving washing efficiency.

[0234] In the lifting motion, the number of rotations in one direction (C1) and the other direction (C2) can be determined in various ways, and the order can also be determined in various ways. The amount of rotation for each rotation in one direction (C1) and the other direction (C2) can also be determined in various ways as needed.

[0235] In the present invention, the amount of rotation of the rotating part (100) can be understood as a rotation angle. For example, in a lifting motion, the rotating part (100) may rotate by a first rotation angle in one direction (C1) and rotate by a second rotation angle in the other direction (C2).

[0236] The driving unit (50) rotates the rotating unit (100) so that the rotating unit (100) performs a lifting motion to form an upward or downward water flow at least once, and in the lifting motion, the driving unit (50) can rotate the rotating unit (100) so that the rotating unit (100) rotates with different amounts of rotation along one direction (C1) and the other direction (C2).

[0237] The rotation of the rotating part (100) is achieved by the driving part (50), and since the driving part (50) is driven by the control of the control part (70), the rotation of the rotating part (100) can ultimately result in being controlled by the control part (70).

[0238] The control unit (70) can control the rotation of the drive shaft of the drive unit (50) by adjusting the current or voltage, etc. provided to the drive unit (50), and the method by which the control unit (70) controls the rotation of the drive unit (50) can be varied. The drive unit (50) can be configured to allow adjustment of the rotation angle, etc., such as a step motor.

[0239] Meanwhile, as described above, in one embodiment of the present invention, the blades (170) are provided in plurality and spaced apart along the circumferential direction of the column portion (150), and can be inclined toward the other direction (C2) with respect to the longitudinal direction (L) of the column portion (150) and extend from the lower portion (152) toward the upper portion (154) of the column portion (150).

[0240] Accordingly, as shown in FIG. 4, when the rotating part (100) is rotated in one direction (C1), an upward water flow can be formed by the blade (170), and when the rotating part (100) is rotated in the other direction (C2), a downward water flow can be formed.

[0241] Meanwhile, referring to FIG. 7, in one embodiment of the present invention, the lifting motion includes an upward motion (M1) for forming an upward water flow, and the control unit (70) can control the driving unit (50) so that in the upward motion (M1), the rotating unit (100) rotates in the one direction (C1) by a first rotation amount (R1) and rotates in the other direction (C2) by a second rotation amount (R2) that is less than the first rotation amount (R1).

[0242] As described above, in one embodiment of the present invention, the lifting motion during the washing motion may include an upward motion (M1) and a downward motion (M2). The upward motion (M1) can ultimately form an upward water flow through the combined rotation of the rotating part (100).

[0243] In the upward motion (M1), the rotating part (100) can be rotated in one direction (C1) by a first rotation amount (R1) and rotated in the other direction (C2) by a second rotation amount (R2). The second rotation amount (R2) may correspond to a rotation amount less than the first rotation amount (R1).

[0244] In FIG. 7, the first rotation amount (R1) and the second rotation amount (R2) are conceptually represented by arrows. In the upward motion (M1), the rotating part (100) is rotated such that the first rotation amount (R1) is greater than the second rotation amount (R2), so the final water flow according to the upward motion (M1) can be understood as an upward water flow.

[0245] As described above, in one embodiment of the present invention, the driving unit (50) is provided to rotate the rotating unit (100) as described above, and the operation of the driving unit (50) can be controlled by the control unit (70).

[0246] Meanwhile, in one embodiment of the present invention, the control unit (70) can control the driving unit (50) so that the rotating unit (100) rotates in the other direction (C2) after being rotated in the one direction (C1) during the upward motion (M1).

[0247] In the upward motion (M1), the first rotation amount (R1) is greater than the second rotation amount (R2), and therefore, when the rotation in one direction (C1) is performed after the rotation in the other direction (C2), the rotation part (100) is rotated with a relatively large first rotation amount (R1), and thus one cycle of the upward motion (M1) is terminated, so the upward motion (M1) can be terminated with the laundry curling phenomenon occurring during the rotation according to the first rotation amount (R1).

[0248] That is, one embodiment of the present invention allows a unidirectional (C1) rotation with a greater amount of rotation to be performed prior to a unidirectional (C2) rotation in an upward motion (M1), thereby enabling the tangling of laundry that may occur in the unidirectional (C1) rotation to be resolved through the unidirectional (C2) rotation.

[0249] In one embodiment of the present invention, the downward motion (M2) and the rotation in the other direction (C2), which has a greater amount of rotation, are performed prior to the rotation in the one direction (C1), thereby resolving the phenomenon of laundry drying.

[0250] Meanwhile, referring to FIG. 10, the washing motion by the rotating part (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention may include an upward motion (M1), a downward motion (M2), and a power motion (M3). Additionally, water and detergent may be supplied into the tub (20) or the drum (30) after the washing process (P10) begins. At the beginning of the washing process (P10), the detergent needs to be mixed with water and laundry.

[0251] The control unit (70) can control the driving unit (50) so that the rotating unit (100) performs the upward motion (M1) at least once after the start of the washing process (P10). The upward motion (M1) can form an upward water flow and can induce upward movement of laundry located at the bottom of the drum (30). That is, vertical movement of the laundry can occur through the performance of the upward motion (M1). The upward motion (M1) can be accompanied by the formation of a different rotating water flow in the circumferential direction of the column unit (150) as well as an upward water flow moving from the bottom to the top of the drum (30). At the beginning of the washing process (P10), rapid dissolution of the detergent is required, and moisture absorption and detergent reaction of the entire laundry may be required.

[0252] Accordingly, one embodiment of the present invention can induce rapid dissolution of the detergent and increase the moisture content and detergent reaction of the entire laundry by ensuring that the upward motion (M1) is performed at least once after the start of the washing process (P10).

[0253] Additionally, as described above, the control unit (70) can control the drive unit so that the distribution motion (N) is performed first and the rising motion (M1) is performed after the start of the washing process (P10). Furthermore, the distribution motion (N) is not necessarily required to be performed, and whether or not to perform the distribution motion (N) can be determined by considering the amount of laundry, the water level of the tub (20), the type of washing process (P100), etc.

[0254] Meanwhile, the washing process (P100) may further include a rinsing process (P20) in which water is supplied from the water supply unit (60) to the tub (20) after the washing process (P10) and foreign matter is discharged from the tub (20).

[0255] The control unit (70) can control the driving unit (50) so that the rotating unit (100) performs the upward motion (M1) at least once after the start of the rinsing process (P20).

[0256] During the initial stage of the rinsing process (P20), the water supply process (P40) in which water is supplied into the drum (30) may be carried out, and since foreign matter may remain on the laundry after the washing process (P10), it may be advantageous for rinsing efficiency to flow the laundry through the three-dimensional formation of the water flow and allow the water flow to pass through the laundry.

[0257] Accordingly, in one embodiment of the present invention, the control unit (70) can control the driving unit (50) so that the rotating unit (100) performs an upward motion (M1) at least once after the start of the rinsing process (P20).

[0258] Additionally, as described above, the control unit (70) can control the drive unit so that the distribution motion (N) is performed first and the rising motion (M1) is performed after the start of the rinsing process (P20). Furthermore, the distribution motion (N) does not necessarily have to be performed, and whether or not the distribution motion (N) is performed can be determined by considering the amount of laundry, the water level of the tub (20), the type of washing process (P100), etc.

[0259] Meanwhile, FIG. 8 illustrates a downward motion (M2) among the upward motions of another rotating part (100) in one embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 8, in one embodiment of the present invention, the upward motion includes a downward motion (M2) for forming a downward water flow, and the control unit (70) can control the driving unit (50) so that in the downward motion (M2), the rotating part (100) rotates by a third amount of rotation (R3) in the other direction (C2) and rotates by a fourth amount of rotation (R4) less than the third amount of rotation (R3) in the one direction (C1).

[0260] In the downward motion (M2), the amount of rotation in the other direction (C2) is set higher than the amount of rotation in the one direction (C1), so that the effect of a downward water flow can ultimately be induced. In the downward motion (M2), the rotating part (100) can be rotated by a third amount of rotation (R3) in the other direction (C2) and by a fourth amount of rotation (R4) in the one direction (C1).

[0261] The third rotation amount (R3) may have a higher value than the fourth rotation amount (R4). For example, the third rotation amount (R3) may correspond to a rotation angle of 720 degrees of the rotating part (100), and the fourth rotation amount (R4) may correspond to a rotation angle of 360 degrees of the rotating part (100). The third rotation amount (R3) may be 150% or more and 200% or less of the fourth rotation amount (R4).

[0262] However, the first rotation amount (R1) and the second rotation amount (R2) in the upward motion (M1) are unrelated to the third rotation amount (R3) and the fourth rotation amount (R4). For example, the first rotation amount (R1) and the third rotation amount (R3) may be the same or different from each other, and the second rotation amount (R2) and the fourth rotation amount (R4) may be the same or different from each other.

[0263] However, the above figures are presented as examples for convenience of explanation only and do not limit the embodiment of the present invention, and the ratio between the rotation angle and the amount of rotation of the rotating part (100) can be set in various ways as needed.

[0264] The downward motion (M2) of the present invention has the effect of ultimately forming a downward water flow by having a greater amount of rotation in the other direction (C2) of the rotating part (100) that forms a downward water flow than in the one direction (C1) that forms an upward water flow, and since the rotation in the other direction (C2) and the rotation in the one direction (C1) are performed together in one cycle, the uniformity of the distribution of the clothing can be improved and the drying phenomenon of the laundry can be improved.

[0265] Meanwhile, in one embodiment of the present invention, the control unit (70) can control the driving unit (50) so that the rotating unit (100) performs the lowering motion (M2) at least once only when the amount of water supplied to the tub (20) during the washing process (P100) is greater than or equal to the reference amount of water.

[0266] Figure 1 illustrates an exemplary water level according to the reference water supply amount inside the tub (20). In one embodiment of the present invention, if the water supplied inside the tub (20) is less than or equal to the reference water supply amount, the downward motion (M2) of the rotating part (100) may be limited.

[0267] The downward motion (M2) can move the laundry and water downward around the column portion (150), and if the water level inside the tub (20) is excessively low, when the downward motion (M2) is performed, the distance between the laundry and the bottom portion (110) or the lower surface (33) of the drum (30) becomes excessively short, which can excessively reduce the efficiency of laundry flow and may induce laundry jamming between the bottom portion (110) and the lower surface (33) of the drum (30), which may be disadvantageous.

[0268] Accordingly, in one embodiment of the present invention, a standard for the amount of water supplied is set as a standard amount of water supplied so that the flow of laundry by the downward motion (M2) can be effectively achieved and the phenomenon of laundry jamming can be sufficiently suppressed, and the downward motion (M2) of the rotating part (100) can be performed at a standard amount of water supplied or more.

[0269] The determination of the standard water supply amount can be determined as a result of repeated experiments or theoretical calculations, and can be determined in various ways from a strategic perspective regarding the execution of the washing process (P100).

[0270] The control unit (70) can determine the amount of water supplied to the tub (20) in various ways. For example, the amount of water supplied according to the water supply execution time of the water supply unit (60) may be stored in advance in the control unit (70) in the form of a data map, and the control unit (70) can determine the amount of water supplied based on the data map.

[0271] Alternatively, the water supply unit (60) may be configured to allow adjustment of the amount of water supplied per unit time, and the control unit (70) may adjust the amount of water supplied inside the tub (20) while adjusting the amount of water supplied per unit time along with the water supply time.

[0272] Alternatively, a water level sensor capable of measuring the water level may be provided in the tub (20), and the control unit (70) may determine the amount of water supplied through the water level of the currently supplied amount of water via the water level sensor.

[0273] One embodiment of the present invention sets a standard water supply amount that is appropriate and efficient for performing a downward motion (M2), and by performing the downward motion (M2) of the rotating part (100) at a level greater than the standard water supply amount, the washing efficiency can be effectively improved.

[0274] FIG. 10 shows a plurality of dotted line areas where a washing motion of the rotating part (100) is performed, and a dotted line area where a lowering motion (M2) can be performed at a standard water supply amount or higher. The lowering motion (M2) can be used in the washing process (P10) or the rinsing process.

[0275] However, the dotted line area shown in Fig. 10 is for convenience of explanation, and the downward motion (M2) can be performed at various intervals and times in the washing process (P100).

[0276] Meanwhile, FIG. 9 is a diagram showing the power motion of a rotating part in a clothing processing device according to one embodiment of the present invention.

[0277] Referring to FIG. 9, in a clothing processing device according to one embodiment of the present invention, the control unit (70) can control the driving unit (50) so that the rotating unit (100) performs a power motion (M3) at least once to form a stronger water flow than the lifting motion during the washing process (P100).

[0278] Additionally, the control unit (70) can control the drive unit (50) to continuously perform a strong rotation motion (M4) in which the rotation unit (100) rotates by a fifth rotation amount (R5) in each of the one direction (C1) and the other direction (C2) in the power motion (M3), and a weak rotation motion (M5) in which it rotates by a sixth rotation amount (R6) that is less than the fifth rotation amount (R5) in each of the one direction (C1) and the other direction (C2).

[0279] The washing motion of the present invention may further include a power motion (M3) in addition to the lifting motion. The power motion (M3) can be understood as a washing motion intended to form a stronger water flow than the lifting motion.

[0280] Power motion (M3) forms a stronger water flow than lifting motion, which can improve the effect of removing foreign matter from the laundry during the washing process (P10) and may be advantageous for separating foreign matter or detergent remaining on the laundry from the laundry or discharging it from the tub (20) during the rinsing process (P20).

[0281] The control unit (70) can perform power motion (M3) one or more times during the washing process (P100). In FIG. 10, the section where power motion (M3) is performed according to one embodiment of the present invention is represented by a dotted line area.

[0282] However, the section where the power motion (M3) is performed is not limited to the section shown in FIG. 10, and can be performed at various times in various processes and sections as needed.

[0283] The rotating part (100) can perform at least 4 rotations in one cycle of power motion (M3). The distinction between rotations can be distinguished by a change in the direction of rotation.

[0284] Referring to FIG. 9, in the power motion (M3), the rotation part (100) can perform a strong rotation motion (M4) and a weak rotation motion (M5) together. The number of times or the order of the strong rotation motion (M4) and the weak rotation motion (M5) are performed can be set in various ways as needed.

[0285] In the strong rotation motion (M4), the rotating part (100) can be rotated in one direction (C1) by a fifth rotation amount (R5) and rotated in the other direction (C2) by the fifth rotation amount (R5). The order of rotation in one direction (C1) and rotation in the other direction (C2) can be determined as needed.

[0286] The fifth rotation amount (R5) may be equal to or different from the first rotation amount (R1) and the third rotation amount (R3) of the lifting motion. For example, the fifth rotation amount (R5) may be equal to or greater than the first rotation amount (R1) and the third rotation amount (R3).

[0287] In the strong rotation motion (M4), the rotating part (100) can form a relatively strong water flow compared to the weak rotation motion (M5) while rotating in one direction (C1) and the other direction (C2) by a fifth rotation amount (R5).

[0288] Since the strong rotation motion (M4) rotates by the same amount of rotation in one direction (C1) and the other direction (C2), it is not intended to form only one of the upward and downward water currents, but rather both the upward and downward water currents are strongly formed in the one direction (C1) and the other direction (C2), thereby improving the washing effect.

[0289] In power motion (M3), the rotating part (100) can perform a weak rotation motion (M5) along with a strong rotation motion (M4). In the weak rotation motion (M5), the rotating part (100) can perform rotation in one direction (C1) and rotation in the other direction (C2), respectively, and can be rotated by a sixth rotation amount (R6) in one direction (C1) and rotated by a sixth rotation amount (R6) in the other direction (C2). In the weak rotation motion (M5), the order of rotation in one direction (C1) and rotation in the other direction (C2) can be determined in various ways.

[0290] The sixth rotation amount (R6) may be a smaller rotation amount than the fifth rotation amount (R5). For example, the sixth rotation amount (R6) may correspond to a rotation angle of 720 degrees of the rotating part (100), and the fifth rotation amount (R5) may correspond to a rotation angle of 360 degrees of the rotating part (100).

[0291] However, the above rotation angle is merely an example for convenience of explanation and does not limit the present invention, and the rotation angle can be set in various ways as needed.

[0292] The sixth rotation amount (R6) can be set separately from the second rotation amount (R2) and the fourth rotation amount (R4) of the lifting motion. For example, the sixth rotation amount (R6) may be equal to or different from the second rotation amount (R2) and the fourth rotation amount (R4). For example, the sixth rotation amount (R6) may be equal to or less than the second rotation amount (R2) and the fourth rotation amount (R4).

[0293] Additionally, the order of execution of the strong rotation motion (M4) and the weak rotation motion (M5) in the power motion (M3) may vary, and the number of executions may also vary. For example, in the power motion (M3), the rotation part (100) may perform the weak rotation motion (M5) after performing the strong rotation motion (M4).

[0294] Power motion (M3) increases the washing effect of the laundry by strongly rotating the rotating part (100) in one direction (C1) and the other direction (C2) in the strong rotation motion (M4), and weakly rotating the rotating part (100) in one direction (C1) and the other direction (C2) in the weak rotation motion (M5), thereby improving the uniformity of distribution of the laundry, improving the drying phenomenon of the laundry, and suppressing damage to the laundry.

[0295] The fifth rotation amount (R5) and the sixth rotation amount (R6) may be defined as concepts including rotation time for rotation angles. For example, the fifth rotation amount (R5) may mean a certain rotation angle achieved within a certain time, and the sixth rotation amount (R6) may mean a rotation angle smaller than the certain rotation angle achieved within the said certain time.

[0296] In this case, the RPM of the rotating part (100) according to the fifth rotation amount (R5) is higher than the RPM of the rotating part (100) according to the sixth rotation amount, so the washing effect of the laundry can be increased. However, the time for rotation can be set in various ways, and the rotation times of the fifth rotation amount (R5) and the sixth rotation amount (R6) can also be set to be different from each other or the same. The first rotation amount (R1) to the fourth rotation amount (R4) can also be defined in relation to RPM as above.

[0297] Meanwhile, in one embodiment of the present invention, the control unit (70) can control the driving unit (50) so that the rotating unit (100) performs the weak rotation motion (M5) after performing the strong rotation motion (M4) in the power motion (M3).

[0298] As described above, the rotating part (100) can perform a washing motion with increased washing effect by performing a strong rotation motion (M4) in the power motion (M3), and then perform a weak rotation motion (M5) to suppress the curling or damage of the laundry.

[0299] In other words, in one embodiment of the present invention, the control unit (70) can control the drive unit (50) such that in the power motion (M3), the rotation unit (100) is rotated by the fifth rotation amount (R5) in either the one direction (C1) or the other direction (C2), then rotated by the fifth rotation amount (R5) in the other direction, then rotated by the sixth rotation amount (R6) in either direction, and then rotated by the sixth rotation amount (R6) in the other direction.

[0300] For example, the rotating part (100) can be rotated by a fifth rotation amount (R5) in one direction (C1) in power motion (M3), and then rotated by a fifth rotation amount (R5) in the other direction (C2), and then rotated by a sixth rotation amount (R6) in one direction (C1), and then rotated by a sixth rotation amount (R6) in the other direction (C2).

[0301] Meanwhile, as described above, one embodiment of the present invention may further include a detergent supply unit (25) provided to supply detergent to the tub (20) and a water supply unit (60) provided to supply water to the tub (20).

[0302] The above washing process (P100) may include a washing process (P10) in which detergent is introduced from the detergent supply unit (25) into the tub (20) and foreign matter on the clothing is removed, and a rinsing process (P20) in which water is supplied from the water supply unit (60) into the tub (20) and foreign matter is discharged from the tub (20).

[0303] The control unit (70) can control the driving unit (50) so that the rotating unit (100) performs the power motion (M3) at least once during the washing process (P10) or the rinsing process (P20).

[0304] Power motion (M3) can increase the washing or rinsing effect by forming a three-dimensional and strong water flow through strong rotation of the rotating part (100), and can also improve washing efficiency by suppressing the drying or damage of the laundry by performing weak rotation of the rotating part (100).

[0305] Accordingly, the control unit (70) can improve washing efficiency by controlling the rotation unit (100) or the driving unit (50) so that the power motion (M3) is performed at least once during the washing process (P10) or the rinsing process (P20).

[0306] In FIG. 10, a section in which the power motion (M3) of the rotating part (100) is performed according to one embodiment of the present invention is shown as a dotted line area. However, the dotted line area shown in FIG. 10 is an example for convenience of explanation and is not necessarily limited thereto, and the power motion (M3) may be performed in various sections and at various times as needed.

[0307] As described above, the upward motion (M1) can effectively induce mixing between the laundry and water or detergent by forming a three-dimensional water flow after the water supply process (P40). After the upward motion (M1) is performed, the control unit (70) controls the driving unit (50) so that the rotating unit (100) performs a power motion (M3), thereby improving the washing effect by forming a strong and three-dimensional water flow while the mixing between the laundry and water or detergent is sufficiently achieved.

[0308] Meanwhile, in one embodiment of the present invention, the control unit (70) can control the driving unit (50) so that when the amount of water supplied from the water supply unit (60) to the tub (20) is greater than or equal to the reference amount of water, the rotating unit (100) performs at least one power motion (M3) that is performed when the amount of water supplied is less than the reference amount of water, by replacing it with the lowering motion (M2).

[0309] As described above, the efficiency of the downward motion (M2) can be improved when the amount of water inside the tub (20) is greater than or equal to the standard water supply amount. Accordingly, in one embodiment of the present invention, the power motion (M3) is performed when the amount of water is less than or equal to the standard water supply amount, and when the amount of water is greater than or equal to the standard water supply amount, the downward motion (M2) can be performed as a replacement for at least one cycle of the power motion (M3).

[0310] However, even if the standard water supply amount is greater than the standard amount, not all power motions (M3) must necessarily be replaced with downward motions (M2), and they may be performed in combination as needed. In FIG. 10, a section in which the power motion (M3) and / or downward motion (M2) can be performed according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown as a dotted line area.

[0311] Meanwhile, as described above, in one embodiment of the present invention, the drum (30) is provided to be rotatable inside the tub (20), and the driving unit (50) may be provided to provide rotational force to each of the rotating unit (100) and the drum (30).

[0312] FIG. 11 is a flowchart illustrating a control method for a clothing processing device according to an embodiment of the present invention. However, the order of each step in the flowchart shown in FIG. 11 is illustrated merely as an example for convenience of explanation, and the repetition or change of order of each step may be varied as needed.

[0313] As described above, in one embodiment of the present invention, a clothing processing device (1) may include a tub (20) in which water is stored, a water supply unit (60) provided to supply water to the tub (20), a drum (30) provided inside the tub (20) and into which clothing is fed, a rotating unit (100) rotatably installed on the lower surface (33) of the drum (30), a driving unit (50) providing rotational force to the rotating unit (100), and a control unit (70) for controlling the driving unit (50).

[0314] The above-mentioned rotating part (100) includes a bottom part (110) on which the lower surface (33) of the drum (30) is located, and a column part (150) that protrudes upward from the bottom part (110) and has a blade (170) provided on its outer surface, wherein the blade (170) is extended at an angle with respect to the longitudinal direction (L) of the column part (150) to form an upward water flow when the rotating part (100) rotates in one direction (C1) and a downward water flow when it rotates in the other direction (C2).

[0315] Meanwhile, referring to FIG. 11, a control method of a clothing processing device (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention may include a washing step (S1). The washing step (S1) may include a washing step (S100), a rinsing step (S200), and a spin-drying step (S300).

[0316] The washing step (S100) can remove foreign matter from the clothing introduced into the drum (30), the rinsing step (S200) can discharge the foreign matter from the tub (20) after the washing step (S100), and the dehydration step (S300) can remove moisture from the clothing after the rinsing step (S200).

[0317] The washing step (S100) above may include a washing water supply step (S110), a washing distribution motion execution step (S120), a first washing motion execution step (S130), and a washing drainage step (S140).

[0318] That is, the washing step (S1) may include a water supply step in which water is supplied into the tub (20) through the water supply unit (60) at least once. Additionally, the control unit (70) may control the driving unit (50) so that the rotating unit (100) performs a distribution motion (N) to form a space between the clothing and the blade (170) after the water supply step ends. Additionally, the control unit (70) may control the driving unit (50) so that the rotating unit (100) performs the washing motion to form a water flow after the distribution motion (N). Furthermore, the control unit (70) may control the driving unit (50) so that the amount of rotation of the rotating unit (100) in the distribution motion (N) is smaller than the amount of rotation of the rotating unit (100) in the washing motion.

[0319] Thus, when the washing motion is performed after the distribution motion (N), entanglement between the clothing, the blade (170), and the pillar (150) can be prevented to the maximum extent. In particular, the clothing processing device (1) can prevent failure of operation during the initial start of the washing process (P100) to the maximum extent. Furthermore, the washing efficiency of the clothing processing device (1) can be increased.

[0320] As described above, the clothing processing device (1) may further include a water level sensor provided in the tub (20) to measure the water level of the tub (20). Additionally, the control unit (70) may control the driving unit (50) to perform the distribution motion (N) only when the water level of the tub (20) is above the distribution reference water level (H2).

[0321] That is, when a large amount of laundry is fed into the rotating part (100) during the washing motion, the entanglement of laundry on the blade (170) and the column part (150) due to the rotation of the rotating part (100) may increase compared to when a small amount of laundry is fed.

[0322] Additionally, when a small amount of laundry is introduced, the rotating part (100) may have a small amount of entanglement of laundry on the blade (170) and the column part (150) during the washing motion. Accordingly, the effect of the moment of inertia acting on the rotating part (100) and the driving load of the driving part (50) due to the entanglement phenomenon may be negligibly small.

[0323] FIG. 12 is a flowchart showing the distribution motion execution step in the control method of a clothing processing device according to one embodiment of the present invention.

[0324] Referring to FIG. 12, a control method for a clothing processing device (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention may include a washing distribution motion execution step (S120) and a tub water level determination step (S122). In the tub water level determination step (S122), the control unit (70) may determine the water level of the tub (20) through the water level sensor. That is, the control unit (70) may determine the amount of clothing to be fed into the clothing processing device (1) through the water level of the tub (20).

[0325] The control unit (70) determines whether the water level of the tub (20) is above the distribution reference water level (H2) during the washing distribution motion execution step (S120). If the water level of the tub (20) is above the distribution reference water level (H2), the first distribution motion execution step (S124) is performed, and if it is below the distribution reference water level (H2), the first washing motion execution step (S130) is performed.

[0326] The first distribution motion execution step (S124) above may perform the first distribution motion (N1) of the rotating part (100), and the first washing motion execution step (S130) above may perform the washing motion of the rotating part (100).

[0327] When the first distribution motion execution step (S124) is performed, the control unit (70) determines whether the rotating part (100) has rotated by more than the first distribution rotation amount (U1) in the first distribution rotation amount determination step (S1241). If the amount of rotation of the rotating part (100) is greater than or equal to the first distribution rotation amount (U1), the stop motion execution step (S126) is performed, and if it is less than the first distribution rotation amount (U1), the first distribution motion execution step (S124) may be performed.

[0328] The first distribution motion execution step (S124) above may perform the first distribution motion (N1) of the rotating part (100), and the stop motion execution step (S126) above may perform the stop motion (NS) of the rotating part (100).

[0329] When the above stop motion (NS) execution step (S126) is performed, the control unit (70) determines whether the rotating unit (100) has stopped for a stop reference time (ts) or longer in the stop reference time determination step (S1261). If the stop time of the rotating unit (100) is longer than the stop reference time (ts), the second distribution motion execution step (S128) is performed, and if it is shorter than the stop reference time (ts), the stop motion execution step (S126) may be performed.

[0330] The above stop motion execution step (S126) may perform a stop motion (NS) of the rotating part (100), and the above second distribution motion execution step (S128) may perform a second distribution motion (N2) of the rotating part (100).

[0331] When the second distribution motion execution step (S128) is performed, the control unit (70) determines whether the rotation unit (100) has rotated by more than the second distribution rotation amount (U2) in the second distribution rotation amount determination step (S1281). If the rotation amount of the rotation unit (100) is greater than or equal to the second distribution rotation amount (U2), the first washing motion execution step (S130) is performed, and if it is less than the second distribution rotation amount (U2), the second distribution motion execution step (S128) may be performed.

[0332] In the second distribution motion execution step (S128), the second distribution motion (N2) of the rotating part (100) is performed, and in the first washing motion execution step (S130), the washing motion of the rotating part (100) can be performed.

[0333] FIG. 13 is a flowchart illustrating a washing motion execution step in a control method of a clothing processing device according to an embodiment of the present invention. Specifically, it is a flowchart illustrating a first washing motion execution step (S130) performed in a washing step (S100).

[0334] The first washing motion execution step (S130) may be performed after the washing distribution motion execution step (S120). The first washing motion execution step (S130) may include a first upward motion execution step (S132). In the first upward motion execution step (S132), the upward motion (M1) of the rotating part (100) is performed so that efficient mixing of detergent, water, and laundry can be performed.

[0335] Additionally, the first washing motion execution step (S130) may include a water supply amount determination step (S134). The water supply amount determination step (S134) may be performed after the first rising motion execution step (S132). In the water supply amount determination step (S134), the control unit (70) or the water supply unit (60) may determine the amount of water supplied inside the tub (20) through the water supply time and the amount of water supplied per unit time. Additionally, the control unit (70) may determine the amount of water supplied through the water level sensor.

[0336] The control unit (70) determines whether the water supply amount is less than the standard water supply amount in the water supply amount determination step (S134). If the water supply amount is less than the standard water supply amount, the power motion execution step (S136) is performed, and if it is greater than or equal to the standard water supply amount, the downward motion execution step (S138) can be performed.

[0337] The power motion execution step (S136) may perform the power motion (M3) of the rotating part (100), and the downward motion execution step (S138) may perform the downward motion (M2) of the rotating part (100). However, the power motion execution step (S136) and the downward motion execution step (S138) are not required to include only one of the power motion (M3) or the downward motion (M2), and may additionally include an upward motion (M1), etc.

[0338] Meanwhile, the rinsing step (S200) may include a rinsing water supply step (S210), a rinsing distribution motion execution step (S220), a second washing motion execution step (S230), and a rinsing drainage step (S240).

[0339] In the rinse water supply step (S210), water can be supplied into the tub (20) by the water supply unit (60). In the rinse distribution motion execution step (S220), the first distribution motion (N1) and the second distribution motion (N2) can be performed. Additionally, the rinse distribution motion execution step (S220) can be performed in the same way as the washing distribution motion execution step (S120). In the second washing motion execution step (S220), the rising motion (M1), power motion (M3), and lowering motion (M2) of the rotating unit (100) can be performed. In the rinse drainage step (S240), water inside the tub (20) can be discharged to the outside. The rinsing distribution motion execution step (S220) can be performed in the same way as the washing distribution motion execution step (S120). Additionally, the dehydration step (S300) may include a dehydration motion execution step (S310).
