Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to an apparatus for evaluating the adhesion of a fire-resistant paint and a method for evaluating adhesion using the same. More specifically, the invention relates to an apparatus for evaluating the adhesion of a fire-resistant paint applied to a backsheet of a solar panel and a method for evaluating the adhesion of a fire-resistant paint using the same. Background Technology
[0003] The detachment characteristic test method is a field of testing that evaluates the adhesion performance of fire-resistant paints to substrates, and it is used as an indicator to assess the performance of paint manufacturing or coating agents for solar panel backsheets. Fire-resistant paints are widely used to enhance the fire resistance of buildings, components, and devices. Furthermore, there are various types of paints depending on their action, function, application, and the components forming the film.
[0004] For example, a coating film can be formed on the back of a building-type photovoltaic panel by coating it with a paint that exhibits fire-resistant functions and effects to reduce the scale of fire damage and prevent the spread of fire in the event of a fire.
[0005] To further explain the fire-resistant coatings applied to the rear backsheets of solar panels, commercially available fire-resistant coatings include acrylic and epoxy types, each differing in performance, durability, and application methods. Inorganic compounds may be added to the coating to enhance its performance; however, since this affects the coating's viscosity and the degree of cracking after drying, it also has a significant impact on the coating's adhesion.
[0006] Therefore, after applying fire-resistant paint to solar panels, it is necessary to evaluate adhesion strength to verify the film adhesion performance. Standardized test methods such as the Cross Cut Test, loop tack test, or ASTM D 2979 disclose adhesion strength tests using tape; however, since tape does not adhere well to polyethylene terephthalate materials such as the backsheets of solar panels, it is difficult to evaluate adhesion characteristics using the tapes presented in existing test methods. Furthermore, the method of separating the interface between the backsheet and the paint using adhesive has the disadvantage of a long curing time for the adhesive and poor adhesion to the backsheets of solar panels.
[0007] Therefore, there is an urgent need to develop an adhesion evaluation device and method that can more accurately measure the adhesion of the paint by separating the interface between the backsheet of the solar panel and the fire-resistant paint.
[0008] As background technology to the present invention, Korean Patent No. 10-1518137 relates to a back sheet for a solar cell module with improved reflectivity and a method for manufacturing the same. It discloses a back sheet for a solar cell module comprising a white polyethylene-based film layer containing polyethylene resin and a white inorganic material, but only the adhesive characteristics of the back sheet are disclosed, and a method for measuring the adhesion strength of a fire-resistant paint is not disclosed. [0081] FIG. 1 is a front view showing the configuration of a fire-resistant paint adhesion evaluation device according to one embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is a side view of a fire-resistant paint adhesion evaluation device according to one embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 3 is a front view showing the configuration of an indenter fixing part (200) of a fire-resistant paint adhesion evaluation device according to one embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 4 is a front view showing the configuration of an indenter fixing part (200) of a fire-resistant paint adhesion evaluation device according to one embodiment of the present invention equipped with a load sensor (253), FIG. 5 is a front view of a mounting part (300) of a fire-resistant paint adhesion evaluation device according to one embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 6 is a plan view of a mounting part (300) of a fire-resistant paint adhesion evaluation device according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0082] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 6, the fire-resistant paint adhesion evaluation device includes an indenter fixing part (200), a frame part (100), a driving part (500), a mounting part (300), a support part (600), and a control part (400).
[0083] The above-mentioned indenter fixing part (200) can come into contact with the specimen (10) and detach the fire-resistant paint from the specimen (10).
[0084] The above-mentioned indenter fixing part (200) approaches the specimen (10) at a constant speed and detaches after contact to detach the fire-resistant paint from the specimen (10), thereby allowing the adhesion of the fire-resistant paint attached to the back sheet to be evaluated.
[0085] In one embodiment, the specimen (10) may have a fire-resistant paint attached to the back sheet of a solar panel.
[0086] The above specimen (10) is in a state where a fire-resistant paint is coated and attached to a back sheet, and the fire-resistant paint adhesion evaluation device can quantitatively evaluate the adhesion strength at the interface between the back sheet and the fire-resistant paint through various evaluation factors by detaching the fire-resistant paint from the specimen (10).
[0087] In one embodiment, the back sheet may include polyethylene terephthalate (hereinafter 'PET').
[0088] When the above back sheet is polyethylene terephthalate, it is difficult to quantitatively and accurately measure the adhesion strength of the fire-resistant paint through a tack test using tape, which is typically used for adhesion testing. Even when the above back sheet is PET, the fire-resistant paint can be removed by moving the indenter fixing part (200) after attaching it by directly contacting the specimen (10) with the indenter fixing part (200), and the adhesion strength can be quantitatively measured and evaluated.
[0089] The above frame part (100) supports the above presser fixing part (200) and guides its movement.
[0090] The above frame portion (100) is provided, and the above presser fixing portion (200) can move along the frame portion (100).
[0091] The above frame portion (100) may be a vertically fixed length member and may be provided with a horizontal frame (110) movably connected to the above frame portion (100). It may include a guide structure that allows the horizontal frame (110) to move along the inside of the above frame portion (100), for example, a rail to which the horizontal frame (110) is attached, a rack gear (not shown), etc. may be provided. The above guide structure is not particularly limited as long as it receives driving force from the above driving portion (500) to move the horizontal frame (110) to move the above indenter fixing portion (200) toward the specimen (10) and can transmit a pressing force with a certain force.
[0092] The horizontal frame (110) can be extended to a certain length from the frame portion (100), and the horizontal frame (110) can be extended so that the presser fixing portion (200) can move vertically toward the specimen (10) on which it is seated on the mounting portion (300).
[0093] The above driving unit (500) is provided on one side of the frame unit (100) and moves the presser fixing unit (200).
[0094] The above driving unit (500) may be provided on one side of the frame unit (100) and provides a driving force that moves the indenter fixing unit (200) vertically along the frame unit (100) toward the specimen (10).
[0095] The above driving unit (500) is electrically connected to the above control unit (400), and can control and change the speed at which the indenter fixing unit (200) moves toward the specimen (10) and the speed at which the indenter (250) of the indenter fixing unit (200) contacts the specimen (10) and detaches after being pressed, according to the control of the control unit (400).
[0096] The above driving unit (500) and control unit (400) are linked to accurately measure the movement distance of the indenter fixing unit (200), that is, the plastic deformation length until the bond between the back sheet and the fire-resistant paint is broken.
[0097] The above-mentioned presser fixing part (200) includes an upper shaft (220), a universal joint (240), a lower shaft (230), a presser, and a first fixing screw (280).
[0098] The upper shaft (220) may have a first fastening hole (211) formed therein. Specifically, the upper shaft (220) has an upper portion (210) in which the first fastening hole (211) is formed, and a shaft extending from the upper portion (210).
[0099] The upper portion (210) is formed so that a first fastening hole (211) can be formed, and a shaft may be extended from one side of the upper portion (210). The upper shaft (220) is provided with the upper portion (210) and the shaft so that the upper portion (210) can be detachably fixed to the horizontal frame (110).
[0100] Specifically, the first fixing screw (280) is inserted into the first fastening hole (211) while one end of the horizontal frame (110) of the frame part (100) is fastened to the upper shaft (220), thereby fixing the upper end (210) of the upper shaft (220) to the horizontal frame (110) of the frame part (100).
[0101] The above universal joint (240) may be provided at the shaft end of the above upper shaft (220).
[0102] When the above universal joint (240) is provided, even if the axial direction of the upper shaft (220) and the lower shaft (230) is slightly misaligned, the driving force of the upper shaft (220) can be transmitted to the lower shaft (230), and the lower shaft (230) can be made to move vertically.
[0103] The lower shaft (230) is connected to the universal joint (240). Since the lower shaft (230) is connected to the universal joint (240), the lower shaft (230) can move vertically in accordance with the movement of the upper shaft (220), and the indenter (250) can be moved toward the specimen (10), contacted and pressed, and then the fire-resistant paint can be removed from the specimen (10).
[0104] The above-mentioned presser (250) is provided at one end of the lower shaft (230).
[0105] The above particle (250) is a member that directly contacts and pressurizes the specimen (10), and can evaluate the adhesion strength of the fire-resistant paint by detaching the fire-resistant paint from the back sheet of the specimen (10).
[0106] The above-mentioned presser (250) includes a main body (260), a contact part (252), a contact sheet (270), and a tightening screw (251).
[0107] The above main body (260) is square and can be connected to the lower shaft (230).
[0108] If the main body (260) is square, it can provide a space for a contact portion (252) and is easy to connect to the lower shaft (230).
[0109] In one embodiment, the main body (260) may be square with a width of 5 cm or less and a height of 5 cm or less.
[0110] When having an area within the above range, it is easy to connect the main body (260) to the lower shaft (230), and sufficient force can be transmitted to the contact portion (252) of the presser (250) without excessively increasing the load of the lower shaft (230).
[0111] The above contact portion (252) is square and is provided at the bottom of the main body (260), and its area may be reduced compared to the main body (260).
[0112] In one embodiment, the contact portion (252) may be square with a width of 5 mm or less and a height of 5 mm or less.
[0113] When the contact portion (252) of the above range is provided, not only can adhesion be quantitatively evaluated, but adhesion can also be evaluated repeatedly on a single specimen (10), thereby increasing the efficiency of the evaluation device.
[0114] Since the area of the contact portion (252) is reduced to the range of the main body (260), the contact portion (252) is provided with a step at the bottom of the main body (260). When the contact portion (252) is provided with a step at the bottom of the main body (260), the contact sheet (270) can be protruded along the cross-section of the contact portion (252) to more accurately guide the contact area to the sheet, and it is easy to fix the contact sheet (270) to the main body (260).
[0115] Since the area of the contact portion (252) is reduced compared to the main body (260), the specimen (10) can be pressed with a force greater than that transmitted to the main body (260), thereby improving the efficiency of the evaluation device.
[0116] The above contact sheet (270) may be provided to wrap the main body (260) and the contact portion (252).
[0117] The above contact sheet (270) is the same material as the back sheet of the specimen (10), and the contact sheet (270) is provided to completely cover the contact portion (252) and the main body (260), so that when it comes into contact with the specimen (10), damage to the specimen (10) by the indenter (250) can be prevented and it is easy to attach to the specimen (10).
[0118] The above tightening screw (251) can fix the contact sheet (270) to the main body (260).
[0119] After the contact sheet (270) wraps around the main body (260) and the contact portion (252), the tightening screw (251) penetrates the end of the contact sheet (270) and is fastened to the main body (260) to fix the contact sheet (270) to the main body (260).
[0120] The above tightening screw (251) is provided so that the contact seat (270) can be replaced.
[0121] In one embodiment, a detachment portion (11) may be provided on the surface of the specimen (10) facing the contact portion (252). The detachment portion (11) is a surface that corresponds exactly to the contact portion (252) when the square contact portion (252) moves toward the specimen (10).
[0122] A cyanoacrylic adhesive may be applied to the detached part (11).
[0123] When a cyanoacrylic adhesive is applied to the above detachment part (11), the adhesion with the fire-resistant paint is improved, allowing the fire-resistant paint to be effectively detached from the back sheet, and it is advantageous for quantitatively evaluating the adhesion of the fire-resistant paint.
[0124] In one embodiment, a load sensor (253) provided at the bottom of the contact portion (252) may be further included.
[0125] Referring to FIG. 4, a load sensor (253) may be further included at the bottom of the contact portion (252), in which case the force applied to the detached portion (11) of the specimen (10) can be accurately evaluated and the adhesive force of the indenter can be evaluated.
[0126] The load sensor (253) is in a state where it protrudes from the contact portion (252) and can be retracted into the contact portion (252) when in contact with the specimen (10).
[0127] The above mounting portion (300) is positioned below the above presser fixing portion (200), and the specimen (10) is placed thereon.
[0128] Specifically, the mounting portion (300) includes an upper plate (310), a fixing bar (340), a fixing screw (330), a lower plate (320), and a second fixing screw (322).
[0129] The upper plate (310) can be seated on the specimen (10).
[0130] The upper plate (310) can provide a space where the specimen (10) can be seated and fixed.
[0131] The above fixing bar (340) is positioned on the upper plate (310) to fix the specimen (10) and may be provided as a pair.
[0132] The above fixing bar (340) can fix the specimen (10) by pressing one side of the fixing bar (340) against one side of the specimen (10) after the specimen (10) is seated. It is preferable that the above fixing bar (340) be provided at each end of the specimen (10) to form a pair.
[0133] The above fixing screw (330) is provided in multiple numbers and can be fastened to the upper plate (310) by penetrating the fixing bar (340).
[0134] The above fixing screw (330) is provided to fix the above fixing bar (340), and the above specimen (10) can be fixed very easily. The upper plate (310) may be provided with multiple holes corresponding to the fixing screw (330), and in this case, it is preferable because the specimen (10) can be firmly fixed while moving the fixing bar (340).
[0135] The lower plate (320) is provided at the bottom of the upper plate (310), a support shaft extends from the center, and a second fastening hole (321) may be formed at one end of the support shaft.
[0136] The lower plate (320) supports the upper plate (310) and can firmly support the upper plate (310) through the support shaft.
[0137] The second fastening hole (321) may be formed at one end of the support shaft, and the second fixing screw (322) may be inserted into the second fastening hole (321) while the one end of the support part (600) and the support shaft are fastened together.
[0138] The second fixing screw (322) is inserted into the second fastening hole (321), so that the mounting part (300) can be fixed to the support part (600), and the mounting part (300) can be separated and replaced by releasing the second fixing screw (322).
[0139] The above-mentioned presser fixing part (200) and mounting part (300) are fixed so as to be detachably attached to the frame part (100) and the support part (600) through the first and second fixing screws (280, 322) and the first and second fastening holes (211, 321), and since the presser fixing part (200) and the mounting part (300) can be replaced, the adhesion of a wider variety of specimens (10) can be evaluated quickly and efficiently.
[0140] The above support part (600) fixes the above frame part (100) and mounting part (300).
[0141] The above support member (600) provides a space to fix the frame and mounting member (300), and because it is larger and heavier than the frame member (100) and mounting member (300), it can firmly support the frame member (100) and mounting member (300).
[0142] The above control unit (400) is provided on one side of the support unit (600) and controls the presser fixing unit (200).
[0143] The above control unit (400) is electrically linked to the indenter fixing unit (200) and controls the force applied to the indenter (250) and the movement of the indenter fixing unit (200) to accurately measure the displacement.
[0144] In one embodiment, the control unit (400) can derive evaluation factors by measuring the adhesive force, adhesive strength, displacement, adhesive energy, and tangent coefficient at the indenter fixing unit (200).
[0145] Specifically, the adhesive force refers to the adhesive force between the indenter (250) and the specimen (10), which changes according to displacement and can represent the maximum force at the moment when the back sheet and the fire-resistant paint detach.
[0146] The above evaluation factors can evaluate the adhesion of the fire-resistant paint, and since the above evaluation factors can be quantitatively measured, the effects of the present invention can be realized.
[0147] In one embodiment, the adhesive strength, displacement, adhesive energy, and tangent coefficient can be calculated using the following Equations 1 to 4.
[0148] [Equation 1]
[0149]
[0150] [Equation 2]
[0151] ε= |d1- d0|
[0152] [Equation 3]
[0153]
[0154] [Equation 4]
[0155]
[0156] In the above Equations 1 to 4, σmax is the adhesive strength (kPa), ε is the displacement (mm) until the fire-resistant paint detaches from the backsheet, and W max ε is the adhesion energy (J), Ψ is the tangent coefficient, and F max (N) is the maximum force required for detachment between the backsheet and the fire-resistant paint, and A is the contact area between the indenter and the backsheet (mm² 2 ) and d0 (mm) is the initial position of the indenter attached to the fire-resistant paint of the backsheet, and d1 (mm) is the distance the indenter travels until the fire-resistant paint detaches from the backsheet.
[0157] The control unit (400) measures the maximum force and displacement of the indenter (250) according to the adhesive force of the fireproof sheet, and derives the adhesive strength, adhesive energy, and tangent coefficient according to the above equations 1 to 4 to quantitatively evaluate the adhesion of the fireproof paint.
[0158] In one embodiment, the maximum force (F) that the indenter applies to the specimen (10) max ) can be 3N to 5N. Within the above range, the indenter can be firmly attached to the specimen (10) and, after hardening, the fire-resistant paint can be removed from the back sheet.
[0159] In one embodiment, after the indenter is attached to the specimen (10), the movement speed of the indenter fixing part (200) may be 20 mm / min or less.
[0160] After the above-mentioned indenter is attached to the specimen (10) and hardened, the movement speed of the indenter fixing part (200) can be controlled within the above range to accurately measure the rate of detachment of the fire-resistant paint.
[0161] Another aspect of the present invention relates to a method for evaluating the adhesion of fire-resistant paint.
[0162] The above-described method for evaluating the adhesion of fire-resistant paint is a method for quantitatively evaluating the adhesion of fire-resistant paint attached to a solar panel backsheet using the fire-resistant paint adhesion evaluation device described above.
[0163] FIG. 7 is a process flowchart of a method for evaluating the adhesion of a fire-resistant paint using a fire-resistant paint adhesion evaluation device according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0164] Referring to FIG. 7, the method for evaluating the adhesion of the fire-resistant paint comprises: (a) wrapping an indenter with a contact sheet (270) and fixing it to an indenter fixing part (200);
[0165] (b) a step of applying adhesive to a detachment portion (11) on the surface of a specimen (10) corresponding to the contact portion (252) of the indenter, and moving the indenter drive portion (500) using a drive portion (500) to attach the contact portion (252) to the detachment portion (11);
[0166] (c) a step of applying maximum force to an indenter fixed to an indenter fixing part (200) and waiting to cure the adhesive; and
[0167] (d) a step of moving the indenter fixing part (200) to detach the fire-resistant paint from the specimen (10) and using the control part (400) to evaluate the adhesion of the fire-resistant paint;
[0168] First, a fire-resistant paint adhesion evaluation device is prepared, and the indenter of the indenter fixing part (200) is wrapped with a contact sheet (270) (S100).
[0169] The above contact sheet (270) is preferably made of the same material as the back sheet of the specimen (10) and may include polyethylene terephthalate.
[0170] The contact sheet (270) is fixed to the presser (250) using a tightening screw (251) to connect the presser fixing part (200) to the frame part (100).
[0171] A detachment portion (11) is provided on the surface of a specimen (10) corresponding to the contact portion (252) of the above-mentioned indenter (250), and an adhesive is applied, and the indenter driving portion (500) is moved using a driving unit (500) to attach the contact portion (252) to the detachment portion (11) (S200).
[0172] The above-mentioned indenter (250) can be attached to the surface of the specimen (10) by directly contacting it with the fire-resistant paint. At this time, a detachment portion (11) corresponding to the area of the contact portion (252) of the indenter (250) can be prepared in advance on the surface of the specimen (10), and an adhesive can be applied to the detachment portion (11) so that the contact sheet (270) of the indenter is attached to the detachment portion (11).
[0173] In one embodiment, the adhesive may be a cyanoacrylic adhesive.
[0174] In the case where the above adhesive is a cyanoacrylic adhesive, it can exhibit higher adhesion than the adhesion between the back sheet and the fire-resistant paint, so it is very advantageous to quantitatively evaluate adhesion by removing the fire-resistant paint.
[0175] In one embodiment, the detached portion (11) may be 5 mm or less in width and 5 mm or less in height.
[0176] When the detachment part (11) is provided in a square shape within the above range, it has the same area as the contact part (252) of the indenter (250), so the force transmitted from the contact part (252) can be transmitted directly to the detachment part (11), and the area is reduced within the above range so that the pressure applied to the detachment part (11) is greatly increased so that the indenter (250) can be firmly attached.
[0177] Maximum force is applied to the indenter (250) fixed to the indenter fixing part (200) and the adhesive is cured by waiting (S300).
[0178] In one embodiment, the maximum force applied to the indenter may be 3N to 5N.
[0179] When the maximum force is applied within the above range, the fire-resistant paint of the detachment part (11) can be sufficiently pressurized and cured, and then the fire-resistant paint can be detached.
[0180] In one embodiment, the hold time of (c) may be 5 to 6 minutes.
[0181] If a waiting time is taken within the above range, the adhesive hardens so that the fire-resistant paint can be firmly attached to the adhesive sheet, and the fire-resistant paint of the specimen (10) can be detached from the back sheet.
[0182] The above-mentioned indenter fixing part (200) is moved to detach the fire-resistant paint from the specimen (10), and the adhesion of the fire-resistant paint is evaluated using the control part (400).
[0183] After the above-mentioned indenter is attached to the detachment portion (11) of the specimen (10) and the adhesive has sufficiently cured, the indenter fixing portion (200) is moved to detach the fire-resistant paint from the specimen (10), thereby allowing for a quantitative evaluation of the adhesion.
[0184] In one embodiment, the movement speed of the indenter moving part may be 20 mm / min or less.
[0185] When moving within the above range to detach the fire-resistant paint from the backsheet, the adhesive strength according to displacement can be derived very accurately.
[0186] Accordingly, the method for evaluating the adhesion of a fire-resistant paint according to the present invention involves using a fire-resistant paint adhesion evaluation device to attach an indenter to a specimen (10), curing it, and then detaching it, with each step controlled by a control unit (400) and a maximum force (F max ), displacement (ε) can be calculated, and adhesive strength, adhesive strength, adhesive energy, and tangent coefficient can be quantitatively calculated as adhesive evaluation factors according to the calculation of the control unit (400).
[0188] Hereinafter, preferred embodiments are presented to aid in understanding the present invention; however, the following embodiments are merely illustrative of the invention and the scope of the invention is not limited to the following embodiments.
[0190] Example 1
[0191] To evaluate adhesion using a fire-resistant paint adhesion evaluation device, a specimen was prepared with a 2mm thick fire-resistant paint applied to a solar back sheet (PET).
[0192] FIG. 8 is a photograph showing an example of a detached portion of a specimen seated on a mounting portion in a fire-resistant paint adhesion evaluation device according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0193] Referring to Fig. 8, a square detachment measuring 5 mm in width and 5 mm in height was provided on the specimen.
[0194] A cyanoacrylic resin-based adhesive was applied to the detached part, and the indenter of the fire-resistant paint adhesion evaluation device was moved to contact the detached part, after which the indenter fixing part pressed the indenter to a maximum force of 3N, and a hold time of maintaining the maximum force was maintained for 5 minutes.
[0195] Afterwards, the indenter fixing part was moved to detach the indenter from the detachment part, causing the fire-resistant paint to detach. At this time, the detachment speed (Test Speed) was set to 20 mm / min.
[0196] During the adhesion evaluation, the temperature was 24℃ and the humidity was 48%.
[0198] Experimental Example 1. Selection of Adhesion Evaluation Method
[0199] FIG. 9 is a schematic diagram showing the adhesion, curing, and detachment processes of an indenter specimen in an adhesion evaluation method using an adhesion evaluation device for fire-resistant paint according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0200] Referring to FIG. 9, the adhesion evaluation method includes the bonding process between the indenter and the adhesive, the bonding process between the indenter contact sheet and the fire-resistant paint due to the curing of the adhesive, and the detachment process of the fire-resistant paint due to the movement of the indenter.
[0201] The control unit measures the applied force (N) and the detachment speed (mm / min) at the point when the indenter is stopped before the evaluation starts, the state in which the indenter approaches the stand before touching the specimen, the state in which the indenter is maintained while applying force to the specimen up to the set maximum force, and the point in which the indenter detaches and the fire-resistant paint detaches from the back sheet.
[0202] Figure 10 shows the magnitude of the force applied to the indenter during the adhesion, curing, and detachment processes according to Figure 9.
[0203] Referring to Fig. 10, it can be seen that the maximum force is applied at the point where the indenter is detached after passing through the bonding and curing process.
[0204] FIG. 11 shows the configuration of evaluation factors calculated in the control unit of a fire-resistant paint adhesion evaluation device according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0205] Referring to FIG. 11, the control unit measures the change in slope of the force graph for displacement caused by the indenter (200), the deformation length of the indenter (mm) which varies according to experimental conditions, the adhesive force between the back sheet and the fire-resistant paint which is a major indicator of adhesion, and the elastic and plastic deformation length (d1-d0mm) until the bond between the back sheet and the paint is broken, and derives the area value for the plastic deformation length to obtain the adhesive energy (J) and the tangent coefficient (Ψ).
[0206] Maximum force (F max , N) refers to the maximum force at the moment when the back sheet and the fire-resistant paint detach from the adhesion force between the fire-resistant paint and the back sheet.
[0207] Adhesion energy (J) is defined as the product of force (N) and displacement (m), and the energy value can be obtained by integrating the region where the force stabilizes in the presented graph.
[0208] In addition, the tangent coefficient (Ψ) is defined as the ratio of stress to strain, and the change in adhesive force (Δσ) is the maximum force (F) applied when the backsheet and the fire-resistant paint detach at the detachment site. max ) represents the value obtained by subtracting the initial force, and the change in displacement (Δε) represents the value obtained by subtracting the initial displacement from the displacement when the backsheet and the paint are detached. The tangent coefficient can be derived from the change in adhesion force (Δσ) and the change in displacement (Δε), and the tangent coefficient corresponds to the slope in Figure 11 presented and represents the stiffness of the material.
[0209] The control unit has the advantage of being able to calculate adhesive strength, the most important indicator among the adhesion characteristics of fire-resistant paint, by measuring the precise cross-sectional area of detachment.
[0210] The control unit calculates the effective area of the indenter contact portion in contact with the backsheet using the indenter, and uses a fire-resistant paint adhesion evaluation device to determine the maximum force (F) at the point where the indenter detaches after passing through the adhesion and curing processes. max ) can be measured. In addition, as the displacement increases, the adhesive strength (σ) increases, and the adhesive force measured at the moment of detachment (d1) is the maximum adhesive strength (F max )am.
[0211] Therefore, the fire-resistant paint adhesion evaluation device can measure maximum force, adhesive strength, displacement, adhesive energy, and tangent coefficient under various conditions, and by determining these as evaluation factors, can quantitatively evaluate the adhesion of the fire-resistant paint.
[0213] Comparative Example 1
[0214] Adhesion was tested in the same manner as in Example 1, but specimens with a fire-resistant paint different from that in Example 1 were used.
[0216] Experimental Example 2. Evaluation of adhesion according to fire-resistant paint
[0217] It was confirmed whether adhesion could be evaluated based on the above evaluation factors depending on the type of fire-resistant paint.
[0218] FIG. 12 is a graph showing the adhesive strength according to the displacement of the example and comparative example in an adhesion evaluation using an adhesion evaluation device for fire-resistant paint according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0220] Types of exams Evaluation Factors Adhesion (Fmax) displacement (ε) tangent coefficient (Ψ) Adhesion Energy (Wmax) Examples 6.45 N 4.16 mm 1.55 14.05 Comparative example 5.12 N 6.23 mm 0.82 19.78
[0221] Referring to Figure 12 and Table 1, the adhesive strength of Example 1 was measured to be 6.45 N, which is higher than the 5.12 N of Comparative Example 1. Differences in adhesive strength depending on the type of fire-resistant paint can be confirmed, and through this, not only can adhesive strength, displacement, tangent coefficient, and adhesive energy—which are evaluation factors for the adhesion characteristics of fire-resistant paints—be calculated, but the detachment displacement also differs depending on the type of fire-resistant paint, and the adhesion of the fire-resistant paint to the solar backsheet can be quantitatively evaluated by comparing the characteristics of the paint through differences in values such as adhesive energy and tangent coefficient.
[0222] In addition, it was confirmed that the adhesion of fire-resistant paint attached to PET backsheets, which is difficult to evaluate using tape, can be quantitatively evaluated.
[0224] Comparative Example 2
[0225] The adhesion of the specimen was tested under the same conditions as in Example 1, and the specimen was bonded with tape (3M 3015, adhesive main components Polyisoprene, Limonene, CaCO3) instead of cyanoacrylic instant adhesive.
[0227] Experimental Example 3. Evaluation of adhesion according to adhesive type
[0228] FIG. 13 is a graph showing the adhesive strength and displacement according to the type of adhesive in an adhesion evaluation using an adhesion evaluation device for fire-resistant paint according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0229] Referring to FIG. 13, when checking the adhesive strength according to displacement in the case where no adhesive is applied (paint), the case where a cyanoacrylic adhesive is applied (Loctite), and the case where the tape of Comparative Example 2 is applied (Tape), the adhesive strength of the tape of Comparative Example 2 is 4.14 N, which is lower than the adhesive strength between the fire-resistant paint and the back sheet, which is 6.45 N. On the other hand, the adhesive strength of the instant adhesive is 13.57 N, which is higher than the adhesive strength between the fire-resistant paint and the back sheet, confirming that the cyanoacrylic instant adhesive is a suitable material for measuring the adhesive strength between the fire-resistant paint and the back sheet.
[0231] Accordingly, the fire-resistant paint adhesion evaluation device and the fire-resistant paint adhesion evaluation method using the same according to the present invention can quantitatively evaluate the adhesion of a fire-resistant paint by selecting various adhesion evaluation factors for PET-based backsheets, for which adhesion is difficult to evaluate using conventional tape tests. The adhesion evaluation device can evaluate adhesion regardless of the fire-resistant paint and can efficiently evaluate adhesion by using an adhesive that has higher adhesive strength compared to conventional tapes.
