[0002] Devices that detect biosignals such as blood pressure, heart rate, pulse, blood flow, vascular condition, body temperature, body composition, pupil condition, calorie expenditure, oxygen saturation, respiration, blood glucose, BIA (Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis), GSR (Galvanic Skin Response), EDA (Electro-Dermal Activity), electromyography, electroencephalography, and electrocardiography are important tools used in clinical diagnosis and can be used to diagnose symptoms. In particular, people who suffer from a disease or are suspected of having a disease need to detect sudden abnormal symptoms or receive early warnings.
[0003] Conventional devices for detecting vital signs are often too large or uncomfortable to wear due to their conspicuous size; therefore, they are primarily used for vital sign detection tests at hospitals or medical centers, presenting a problem where continuous monitoring is difficult.
[0004] Meanwhile, to solve these problems, wearable devices that can be freely worn on the body, such as clothes, watches, or glasses, are being proposed, and following smartwatches worn on the wrist, there is active development of wearable devices in the form of rings worn on the fingers.
[0005] The main challenge in implementing ring-shaped wearable devices is the design of a structure that fits the small size and circular, curved shape compared to existing wearable devices.
[0006] In addition, as with other wearable devices, it is exposed to an environment where movement occurs continuously depending on the wearer's activity, so it is necessary to optimize the structure so that the built-in electronic components are not damaged by impact. Prior art literature

[0007] The present invention aims to solve the aforementioned problems and, in the structural design of a ring-type biosignal collecting device, to provide a ring-type biosignal collecting device in which the shape of the embedded substrate is optimized so that an electronic component attached to the substrate stably contacts the circular frame of the device and is protected from impacts caused by the wearer's activities. means of solving the problem
[0008] To solve the aforementioned problem, the ring-type biosignal collecting device of the present invention comprises, in its configuration, an inner ring that contacts the finger when worn on a user's finger, an outer ring spaced apart from the inner ring and positioned on the outer side of the inner ring, and a substrate portion positioned between the inner ring and the outer ring and having an electronic element attached thereto. The substrate portion may include at least one element attachment portion to which the electronic element is attached and a bent portion that is alternately positioned with the element attachment portion along the length of the substrate portion and is bent at a predetermined angle.
[0009] In one embodiment of the present invention, the substrate portion may be a flexible substrate.
[0010] In one embodiment of the present invention, the element attachment portion may be positioned such that the portion to which the electronic element is attached is parallel to the contact surface of the inner ring facing the electronic element.
[0011] In one embodiment of the present invention, the bent portion may be made of a material different from the element attachment portion.
[0012] In one embodiment of the present invention, the bent portion may include a recessed portion having a narrower width than the element attachment portion.
[0013] In one embodiment of the present invention, the bend portion may further include a cured film portion located on the surface of the bend portion to maintain the bent state of the bend portion.
[0014] In one embodiment of the present invention, the bending portion may include a first bending portion bent to protrude in a direction away from the inner ring, and a second bending portion bent to be located closer to the inner ring than the first bending portion.
[0015] In one embodiment of the present invention, the second bend portion is bent so as to protrude in a direction closer to the inner ring, and the shortest distance between the second bend portion and the inner ring may be shorter than the shortest distance between the electronic element attached to the element attachment portion closest to the second bend portion and the inner ring.
[0016] In one embodiment of the present invention, at least one of the first bend portion and the second bend portion may be made of a material different from the element attachment portion. Effects of the invention
[0017] According to the above-described configuration and coupling relationship, the present invention has the advantage that a substrate located inside a ring-shaped biosignal collector is folded and embedded in a shape close to a ring, and accordingly, an electronic component attached to the substrate can come into close contact with the circular frame of the ring-shaped biosignal collector, and even if an impact occurs to the ring-shaped biosignal collector due to the activity of a user wearing it, the impact on the internal electronic component is dispersed and mitigated, ultimately improving the durability of the ring-shaped biosignal collector. [0028] Preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings.
[0029] FIG. 1 is a diagram showing the internal configuration of a ring-type biosignal collecting device according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0030] First, the present invention relates to a ring-type biosignal collecting device. In one embodiment, a folded portion is formed on a substrate portion (300) embedded inside to mitigate the impact that may occur between an electronic element (P) attached to the substrate portion (300) and an inner ring (100), and ultimately improve the durability of the ring-type biosignal collecting device.
[0031] Referring to FIG. 1, a ring-shaped biosignal collecting device, which is an embodiment of the present invention, may include an inner ring (100), an outer ring (200), and a substrate (300) as components.
[0032] The outer ring (200) forms the outermost part of the ring-type biosignal collecting device. The material, diameter, overall shape, and function of the outer ring (200) may be various embodiments of the outer ring used in existing ring-type biosignal collecting devices.
[0033] The inner ring (100) is inserted and coupled into the inner side of the outer ring (200) so that the user's finger can be inserted and contacted into the inner side.
[0034] Between the outer side of the inner ring (100) and the inner side of the outer ring (200), components such as a substrate part (300) and a battery part may be included for the ring-type biosignal collecting device of the present invention to measure a user's biosignal and display the measurement result.
[0035] A portion of the inner surface of the outer ring (200) and the outer surface of the inner ring (100) may be made of a conductive material to function as an electrode. For example, the inner surface of the outer ring (200) and the outer surface of the inner ring (100) may each include stainless steel, conductive nanoparticles, gold and / or silver. The inner surface of the outer ring (200) and the outer surface of the inner ring (100) may each be referred to as the first electrode and the second electrode, or the outer electrode and the inner electrode.
[0036] The substrate portion (300) is located between the outer side of the inner ring (100) and the inner side of the outer ring (200), and corresponds to a substrate to which various types of electronic elements (P) can be attached so that the ring-shaped biosignal collecting device of the present invention can perform various functions such as measuring a user's biosignal.
[0037] The substrate portion (300) may be provided as a flexible printed circuit board (FPCB). This is to be inserted between the circular inner ring (100) and the outer ring (200). However, it is not limited thereto.
[0038] The substrate portion (300) may include an element attachment portion (310) and a bending portion (320).
[0039] The component attachment portion (310) is a portion on the substrate portion (300) where an electronic component (P) is attached. Specifically, it is a portion that alternately arranges with the bend portion (320) described later in the longitudinal direction of the substrate portion (300) (e.g., the L1 direction in FIG. 2) on the substrate portion (300), and can be understood as a portion where multiple electronic components (P) are attached together.
[0040] In the component attachment portion (310), the portion to which the electronic component (P) is attached can be positioned parallel to the contact surface of the inner ring (100) facing the attached electronic component (P).
[0041] Specifically, even if the substrate portion (300) is provided as a flexible substrate, it cannot exhibit a sufficient circular shape due to the limitations of the substrate material. The substrate portion (300) may take the form of an arc having a curvature different from that of the inner ring (100), and the electronic element (P) attached to this substrate portion (300) is limited to being positioned parallel to the inner ring (100).
[0042] When an impact occurs to the ring-type biosignal collecting device, a secondary collision occurs between the internal electronic elements (P) and the inner ring (100). At this time, the electronic elements (P) that are not positioned parallel to the inner ring (100) are subjected to uneven collisions, and the impact is not dispersed. This causes a localized strong impact to the electronic elements (P) in specific parts, significantly impairing the durability of the ring-type biosignal collecting device.
[0043] Accordingly, a ring-shaped biosignal collecting device according to one embodiment of the present invention is characterized by first bending the substrate portion (300) into a shape close to a circle by including a bending portion (320) to be described later on the substrate portion (300), and positioning the element attachment portion (310) located between the bending portion (320) and the bending portion (320) so that it is positioned parallel to the contact surface of the inner ring (100) facing it, and secondarily optimizing the structure so that electronic elements (P) are collected and attached to the element attachment portion (310) positioned parallel to the contact surface of the inner ring (100) so that the attached electronic elements (P) are positioned parallel to the contact surface of the inner ring (100).
[0044] Accordingly, the impact generated in the ring-shaped biosignal collecting device is distributed and transmitted to various electronic elements (P) attached to the substrate (300), and ultimately, the durability of the ring-shaped biosignal collecting device is improved.
[0045] The bent portion (320) is a portion of the substrate portion (300) that is bent at a predetermined angle. The bent portion (320) bends the substrate portion (300) so that the substrate portion (300) forms a circular curvature while being concentric with the inner ring (100), and the inner angle formed by the bending may be bent to face the inner ring (100). The predetermined angle at which the substrate portion (300) is bent may be determined or modified according to the number of the element attachment portion (310) and the bent portion (320), the curvature of the substrate portion (300) to be formed, and the angle at which the electronic element (P) attached to the element attachment portion (310) contacts the inner ring (100).
[0046] The bending portions (320) are arranged alternately with the element attachment portions (310) along the length direction (L1) of the substrate portion (300) on the substrate portion (300), and multiple bending portions (320) may be formed on the substrate portion (300) with spaced apart from each other.
[0047] Next, a ring-shaped biosignal collecting device according to another embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. 2.
[0048] FIG. 2 is a drawing showing a bent portion of a ring-shaped biosignal collecting device according to another embodiment of the present invention.
[0049] In the description, components identical to the aforementioned embodiments are denoted by the same reference numerals. Components denoted by the same reference numerals are understood to have the same structure, performance, function, operation, or effect as the aforementioned embodiments, or to represent a configuration within a range that is obvious to a person skilled in the art to modify without difficulty to suit the usage conditions. Redundant descriptions are to be omitted or abbreviated.
[0050] This embodiment is an improvement that modifies the configuration of the bending portion (320) in the previously described embodiment to facilitate the bending of the substrate portion (300). Before describing the bending portion (320), this embodiment, like the previously described embodiment, includes an inner ring (100) that contacts the finger when worn on a user's finger, an outer ring (200) that is spaced apart from the inner ring (100) and positioned on the outer side of the inner ring (100), and a substrate portion (300) that is positioned between the inner ring (100) and the outer ring (200) and to which an electronic element (P) is attached. The substrate portion (300) may include an element attachment portion (310) to which an electronic element (P) is attached, and a bending portion (320) that is alternately positioned with the element attachment portion (310) in the longitudinal direction (L1) of the substrate portion (300) and is bent at a predetermined angle.
[0051] Likewise, the substrate portion (300) may be provided as a flexible substrate, the component attachment portion (310) may be positioned parallel to the contact surface of the inner ring (100) to which the electronic component (P) attached to the component attachment portion (310) faces, and the bend portion (320) may be provided as a material different from that of the component attachment portion (310).
[0052] Referring to FIG. 2, the modified portion of the present embodiment may include a folded portion (320) of the ring-shaped biosignal collecting device according to the present embodiment, which may include a recessed portion (330) having a narrower width than the element attachment portion (310).
[0053] The recessed portion (330) can be understood as a portion in which all or part of the folded portion (320) is recessed inward in the width direction (W1) of the substrate portion (300).
[0054] The shape of the recess (330) can be various, such as a semicircle shape, in addition to the triangular shape shown in FIG. 2, as long as it is a shape that is recessed inward in the width direction (W1) of the substrate (300), and is not limited to that.
[0055] The recessed portion (330) may be formed only on one side of the folded portion (320). For example, in FIG. 2, only one of the first recessed portion (331) or the second recessed portion (332) may be provided. Preferably, the recessed portion (330) is formed on both sides of the folded portion (320), and the point at which the recessed portion (330) formed on each side is most deeply recessed inward may be located at the same position in the longitudinal direction (L1).
[0056] The bend portion (320) includes a recess (330) and has a point along the longitudinal direction (L1) of the substrate portion (300) that has a narrower width than other parts, and the narrow width imparts to the substrate portion (300) physical characteristics that are different from other points (e.g., flexibility and rigidity), thereby providing a location where a bend line (e.g., a line formed by bending, such as the first bend line (B1) shown in FIG. 2) can be easily formed, and the formed bend line can maintain the bend shape better.
[0057] Accordingly, the substrate portion (300) of the ring-shaped biosignal collecting device according to another embodiment of the present invention can form a circular shape more sufficiently, and the electronic element (P) attached to the element attachment portion (310) is positioned parallel to the inner ring (100) to better disperse the impact.
[0058] Next, a ring-shaped biosignal collecting device according to another embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 3 and FIGS. 4.
[0059] FIG. 3 is a drawing showing a bent portion of a ring-shaped biosignal collecting device according to another embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view taken from the AA' direction of FIG. 3.
[0060] In the description, components identical to the aforementioned embodiments are denoted by the same reference numerals.
[0061] This embodiment is an improvement over the above embodiment in that the configuration of the bending portion (320) is modified so that the bending state of the substrate portion (300) is firmly maintained. Before describing the bending portion (320), this embodiment, like the above embodiment, includes an inner ring (100) that contacts the finger when worn on a user's finger, an outer ring (200) that is spaced apart from the inner ring (100) and positioned on the outside of the inner ring (100), and a substrate portion (300) that is positioned between the inner ring (100) and the outer ring (200) and to which an electronic element (P) is attached. The substrate portion (300) may include an element attachment portion (310) to which an electronic element (P) is attached, and a bending portion (320) that is alternately positioned with the element attachment portion (310) in the longitudinal direction (L1) of the substrate portion (300) and is bent at a predetermined angle.
[0062] Likewise, the substrate portion (300) may be provided as a flexible substrate, the component attachment portion (310) may be positioned parallel to the contact surface of the inner ring (100) to which the electronic component (P) attached to the component attachment portion (310) faces, and the bend portion (320) may be provided as a material different from that of the component attachment portion (310).
[0063] Referring to FIGS. 3 and FIGS. 4, the modified portion of the present embodiment may further include a cured film portion (340) located on the surface of the fold portion (320) to maintain the folded state of the fold portion (320).
[0064] The cured film (340) may be a film or layer that is attached to all or part of the surface of the folded portion (320) to be cured and maintains the cured shape. As the cured film (340) is attached to the surface of the folded portion (320), the folded portion (320) can maintain the folded state firmly and easily.
[0065] The cured film portion (340) may be attached to the surface of the fold portion (320) including a second fold line (B2), and as shown in FIG. 3, the first cured film portion (341) and the second cured film portion (342) may be spaced apart and positioned on each side. Not limited thereto, the cured film portion (340) may be extended along the width direction (W1) and provided in an integral form including the second fold line (B2) and both sides.
[0066] As shown in FIG. 4, the cured film portion (340) may be formed on both the outer surface (e.g., the first cured film portion (341)) and the inner surface (e.g., the third cured film portion (343)) of the folded portion (320), but is not limited thereto and may be formed on only one of the outer surface and the inner surface.
[0067] The cured film portion (340) may be made of an acrylic-based UV-curing material, but is not limited thereto.
[0068] Next, a ring-shaped biosignal collecting device according to another embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 5 to 7.
[0069] FIG. 5 is a perspective view showing a bent portion of a ring-type biosignal collecting device according to another embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 6 is a perspective view showing a bent portion of a ring-type biosignal collecting device according to another embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 7 is a cross-sectional view showing a bent portion and an element attachment portion of a ring-type biosignal collecting device according to another embodiment of the present invention.
[0070] In the description, components identical to the aforementioned embodiments are denoted by the same reference numerals.
[0071] This embodiment is an improvement over the above embodiment in that the configuration of the bending portion (320) is modified so that a part of the bending portion (320) can mitigate impact between the substrate portion (300) and the inner ring (100) or between the electronic element (P) and the inner ring (100).
[0072] Likewise, the substrate portion (300) may be provided as a flexible substrate, the component attachment portion (310) may be positioned parallel to the contact surface of the inner ring (100) to which the electronic component (P) attached to the component attachment portion (310) faces, and the bend portion (320) may be provided as a material different from that of the component attachment portion (310).
[0073] Referring to FIGS. 5 to 7, the modified portion of the present embodiment can be divided into a first bend (321) that is bent to protrude away from the inner ring (100) and a second bend (322) that is bent to be located closer to the inner ring (100) than the first bend (321).
[0074] The first bend portion (321) and the second bend portion (322) may be parts of the bend portion (320) that are separated by cutting the interior of the bend portion (320) along the length direction (L1) of the substrate portion (300). For example, as shown in FIG. 5, the first bend portion (321) may be located on both sides of the second bend portion (322) with the second bend portion (322) in between, and as shown in FIG. 6, the second bend portion (322) may be located on both sides of the first bend portion (321) with the first bend portion (321) in between.
[0075] The first bending portion (321) is intended to bend the substrate portion (300) in the same way as the aforementioned bending portion (320) so that the substrate portion (300) forms a circular shape concentric with the inner ring (100). The first bending portion (321) is bent so as to protrude in a direction away from the inner ring (100), so that the inner angle formed in the first bending portion (321) can face the inner ring (100).
[0076] The second bend portion (322) is provided to mitigate impact between the substrate portion (300) and the inner ring (100) or between the electronic element (P) and the inner ring (100). The second bend portion (322) may be a portion bent so as to be positioned closer to the inner ring (100) than the first bend portion (321), and preferably, it may be bent so as to protrude in a direction closer to the inner ring (100), so that the inner angle formed in the second bend portion (322) faces the outer ring (200).
[0077] More preferably, the distance between the fourth bend line (B4) and the inner ring (100) or the shortest distance between the second bend (322) and the inner ring (100) can be arranged such that the distance between the electronic element (P) attached to the element attachment part (310) closest to the second bend (322) and the inner ring (100) is shorter than the shortest distance between the electronic element (P) and the inner ring (100).
[0078] Referring to FIG. 7, when the bend portion (320) is divided into a first bend portion (321) and a second bend portion (322) and the second bend portion (322) protrudes toward the inner ring (100), the second bend portion (322) can mitigate impact between the substrate portion (300) and the inner ring (100) or between the electronic element (P) and the inner ring (100), and the durability of the ring-shaped biosignal collecting device including the second bend portion (322) can be greatly improved.
[0079] Under the function of the first bending part (321) and the second bending part (322) described above, at least one of the first bending part (321) and the second bending part (322) may be made of a material different from that of the element attachment part (310). For example, the first bending part (321) may be made of a material that can maintain the bent state better than the element attachment part (310), and the second bending part (322) may be made of a material having elasticity to absorb shock. However, it is not limited thereto.
[0080] The foregoing description of the present invention is for illustrative purposes only, and those skilled in the art will understand that other specific forms can be easily modified without altering the technical spirit or essential features of the present invention. Therefore, the embodiments described above should be understood as illustrative in all respects and not intended to be limiting.
[0081] For example, the present invention has been described with reference to an embodiment illustrated in the drawings, but this is merely illustrative and those skilled in the art will understand that various modifications and variations of the embodiments are possible therefrom.
