Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a broaching processing device, and more specifically, to a broaching processing device capable of shortening the overall cycle time and improving processing precision by performing broaching processing through a continuous rotational motion while a workpiece having a plurality of processing areas is fixed at a broaching processing execution location. Background Technology
[0003] Broaching is a machining method that forms a predetermined shape on the inner and outer surfaces of a workpiece by moving a broaching tool equipped with a cutting edge relative to the workpiece.
[0004] Broaching is widely applied in the production process of high-precision parts, such as bearing cages, due to the advantage of obtaining a high-precision machined surface in a short time.
[0005] For example, as illustrated in FIGS. 12 to 13, when looking at the jig portion of a conventional broaching machine (10) disclosed in Korean Registered Patent No. 2568385 (Title: Two-axis broaching machine for parts processing), it includes a gripping member (1) for gripping a workpiece, a fixing member (2) positioned at the rear of the gripping member (1) and fixedly installed on the frame of the broaching machine (10), and a fastening member (3) that mutually combines the gripping member (1) and the fixing member (2) and is fixed to the frame.
[0006] The structure of such a conventional broaching processing device (10) has a structural limitation in that the gripping member (1) and the fixing member (2) are fixedly connected to a specific position on the frame in a way that prevents rotation by means of a fastening member (3).
[0007] Consequently, in order to sequentially machine multiple machining areas arranged perimeter-wise along the side of the workpiece, there is a serious process vulnerability in that rotational movement for switching machining areas becomes possible only after the jig unit has retracted from the machining position and completely released the pressure applied to the workpiece each time the cutting of each machining area is completed.
[0008] The structure of such a conventional broaching processing device (10) has a structural limitation in that the gripping member (1) and the fixing member (2) are fixedly connected at a specific position on the frame by a fastening member (3), so the gripping member (1) itself cannot rotate axially while maintaining pressure.
[0009] As a result, in order to process multiple processing areas arranged perimeter-wise along the side of a workpiece, there is a structural limitation in that, whenever a processing area is processed, the jig unit must retract from the processing position to release the pressure applied to the workpiece and then perform a rotation to switch processing areas.
[0010] In other words, it was essential to repeat the process cycle leading from jig advance → workpiece pressurization → broaching tool lowering → workpiece machining → broaching tool raising → jig retraction → workpiece pressurization release → workpiece rotation → jig advance again.
[0011] As such, a fixed structure in which the jig must retract in order to switch processing areas is a fundamental cause of significantly increasing the overall cycle time by generating unnecessary process waiting time every time each processing area is processed. Prior art literature

Effects of the invention
[0029] According to the present invention, unlike the prior art in which the jig part was fixed and could not rotate, a structure is adopted in which the passive rotational support module of the second jig module rotates together with the workpiece by means of a rotational drive transmitted from the first jig module, thereby enabling continuous broaching processing on multiple processing areas by rotating the workpiece while maintaining the state in which the processing reference surface of the workpiece is pressed in close contact with the second jig module.
[0030] Accordingly, the unnecessary repetitive process of retracting the first jig module for each individual processing area and advancing it for repressurization is fundamentally eliminated, thereby drastically shortening the overall processing cycle time and maximizing productivity.
[0031] In addition, by ensuring that the workpiece remains firmly fixed and supported at the broaching execution location until the process is completed for all machining areas, the occurrence of minute gaps caused by the release of pressure between the jig and the workpiece is fundamentally prevented, thereby minimizing the environment in which cutting chips can enter. Specific details for implementing the invention
[0034] The advantages and features of the present invention and the methods for achieving them will become clear by referring to the embodiments described in detail below together with the accompanying drawings.
[0035] However, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments disclosed below but can be implemented in various different forms, and these embodiments are provided merely to ensure that the disclosure of the present invention is complete and to fully inform those skilled in the art of the scope of the invention, and the present invention is defined only by the scope of the claims.
[0036] Furthermore, the terms used in this specification are for describing the embodiments and are not intended to limit the invention.
[0037] In this specification, the singular form includes the plural form unless specifically stated otherwise in the text. As used in this specification, "comprises" and / or "comprising" do not exclude the presence or addition of other components other than those mentioned.
[0038] Unless otherwise defined, all terms used in this specification (including technical and scientific terms) may be used in a meaning that is commonly understood by those skilled in the art to which the present invention belongs.
[0039] In this specification, "workpiece" refers to an object on which cutting is performed by a broaching machine according to the present invention.
[0040] The above workpiece may be made of metal, alloy, synthetic resin, or other mechanically machinable solid material, and preferably refers to a part that must be formed in two or more processing areas in the circumferential direction along the side.
[0041] For example, the workpiece may be a precision part, such as a bearing cage, in which a plurality of holes or slots must be continuously formed on the side.
[0042] In particular, the above workpiece may be a porous semi-finished product in which a preliminary hole is pre-formed in the processing area based on the state before broaching, or a solid product in which no hole is formed.
[0043] That is, the broaching device according to the present invention can perform broaching of a desired shape without being limited by the presence or absence of an initial hole in the workpiece.
[0044] The overall shape of the above workpiece may have various forms, such as cylindrical, hollow pipes, or polygonal columns, and should be interpreted as a broad concept encompassing all types of materials where the processing area can be appropriately positioned along the movement path of the broaching tool.
[0045] In this specification, "processing area" refers to a plurality of cutting areas arranged at regular intervals in a circumferential direction along the side of a workpiece, and refers to a target area sequentially aligned on a processing path in which a broaching tool reciprocates through a rotational movement performed while the workpiece is maintained under pressure at the processing position.
[0046] For example, in the case of a bearing cage, multiple holes arranged at equal intervals along the side correspond to multiple machining areas, and these are sequentially aligned with the machining path of the broaching tool by the rotational movement of the jig part.
[0047] In this specification, "broaching operation execution position" means a position and state in three-dimensional space in which a workpiece is firmly fixed in a straight line facing the broaching tool inside a broaching operation device and actual broaching operation is performed.
[0048] Specifically, it refers to a series of completed machining preparation states in which a workpiece is transferred to a jig section by a supply section, then seated and fixed in the jig section, and subsequently the side of the workpiece is maintained facing the broaching tool.
[0049] Hereinafter, a broaching processing device according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.
[0050] FIGS. 1 and 2 are, respectively, a front view and a side view of the overall configuration of a broaching processing device (1000) according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0051] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, a broaching processing device (1000) according to the present invention performs broaching processing on a workpiece having a plurality of processing areas arranged in a circumferential direction along the side.
[0052] Specifically, the broaching processing device (1000) includes three main modules: a supply unit (100), a processing unit (200), and a jig unit (300).
[0053] First, the supply unit (100) is configured to supply the workpiece, in a state prior to broaching, to the jig unit (300).
[0054] Next, the processing unit (200) is configured to perform broaching on the workpiece supplied from the supply unit (100).
[0055] Specifically, the processing unit (200) includes a broaching tool (210) that performs actual cutting processing.
[0056] The above broaching tool (210) is configured to perform broaching by moving in an up-and-down direction to penetrate the processing area of the workpiece placed at the broaching execution location (A) when the workpiece is placed at the broaching execution location (A) where broaching is performed.
[0057] In addition, the jig unit (300) is configured to move the workpiece supplied from the supply unit (100) to the broaching execution location (A) and to support the workpiece at the broaching execution location (A) while the broaching process is executed by the processing unit (200).
[0058] FIG. 3 is an enlarged cross-sectional view showing the detailed configuration of a supply unit (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0059] Referring to FIG. 3, the supply unit (100) according to the present invention is configured to grasp a workpiece in a state prior to broaching from an external loading position and to transfer and supply it to the jig unit (300).
[0060] Specifically, the supply unit (100) includes a gripper (110), a horizontal moving member (120), and a vertical moving member (130).
[0061] First, the gripper (110) is configured to selectively grip the inner surface or the outer surface of the workpiece depending on the shape of the workpiece.
[0062] Specifically, when the gripper (110) is configured to grip the inner surface of the workpiece, the gripper (110) may be formed with an expansion structure that is inserted into the inner diameter of the workpiece and then expands outward to radially press and fix the inner surface.
[0063] Conversely, when the gripper (110) is configured to grip the outer surface of the workpiece, the gripper (1110) may be formed with a clamping jaw or finger structure that wraps around the outer surface of the workpiece and contracts towards the center to press and fix the outer surface.
[0064] In addition, the gripper (110) is configured to expand and / or contract using hydraulic or pneumatic driving force supplied from the outside so that the workpiece does not detach from the gripper (110) due to impact load or vibration for gripping the workpiece.
[0065] In addition, the gripping surface of the gripper (110) that directly grips the workpiece may be further provided with a pad made of an elastic material such as rubber, urethane, or silicone to prevent surface scratches and deformation of the workpiece and to increase gripping friction.
[0066] Next, the horizontal moving member (120) performs the function of reciprocating horizontally between an external loading position and the upper part of the jig part (300) for the workpiece held by the gripper (110).
[0067] Specifically, the horizontal moving member (120) may further include a driving motor and be implemented with various driving mechanisms that receive power from the driving motor and move the gripper (110) in a straight line in a horizontal direction.
[0068] At this time, it is preferable that the drive motor be a servo motor or a step motor capable of precise position and speed control.
[0069] In particular, when a servo motor is applied, the workpiece can be precisely aligned on the upper part of the jig (300) through feedback control via an encoder.
[0070] Finally, the vertical moving member (130) moves the gripper (110), which has been horizontally transported by the horizontal moving member (120), in an up-and-down direction to place the workpiece on the jig part (300) or to lift the workpiece, which has been broached, from the jig part (300).
[0071] Specifically, the vertical moving member (130) includes a lifting drive source that provides linear reciprocating motion.
[0072] For example, the lifting drive source may be implemented as a hydraulic cylinder or a pneumatic cylinder, and a gripper (110) is coupled to the rod end of the lifting drive source so that the gripper (110) moves linearly in the up and down direction according to the operation of the lifting drive source.
[0073] That is, the vertical moving member (130) places the workpiece on the jig part (300) through a downward movement, and after the broaching process is completed, it switches to a state where the workpiece can be lifted from the jig part (300) and transferred to the discharge position through an upward movement.
[0074] The lifting and lowering motion of the vertical moving member (130) can be optimized in correspondence with the height of the workpiece and the arrangement structure of the jig part (300).
[0075] FIG. 4 is an enlarged cross-sectional view showing the detailed configuration of a processing part (200) according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0076] Referring to FIG. 4, the processing unit (200) is positioned so as to be in a straight line opposite the broaching processing execution position (A), and moves in a straight reciprocating direction in the up and down direction relative to the broaching processing execution position (A) and performs actual broaching processing on a plurality of processing areas arranged in a circumferential direction along the side of the workpiece.
[0077] Specifically, the processing unit (200) includes a broaching tool (210), a broaching tool fixing member (220), and a broaching tool transfer member (230).
[0078] First, the broaching tool (210) is a tool that is coupled to the broaching tool fixing member (220) to perform actual cutting work, and includes a plurality of cutting edges in the form of a spiral or stepped band to form a hole or slot on the side of the workpiece.
[0079] In particular, the broaching tool (210) including a plurality of cutting blades can distribute the machining load through a plurality of cutting blades designed to sequentially increase the cutting amount during the descent process.
[0080] In addition, the broaching tool (210) is arranged to move up and down while passing through the tool guide hole (327-1) of the tool guide part (327) provided in the second jig module (320) to be described later.
[0081] At this time, the broaching tool (210) cuts the processing area of the workpiece along a predetermined processing path in a state where bending or vibration during descent is suppressed due to the lateral support of the first contact guide (327-2) or the second contact guide (327-3) which is pressed in the direction of the broaching tool (210) by the contact guide forward transfer module (327-4).
[0082] Next, the broaching tool fixing member (220) is positioned between the broaching tool transfer member (230) and the broaching tool (210), and performs the function of stably transmitting the vertical driving force transmitted from the broaching tool transfer member (230) to the broaching tool (210).
[0083] Specifically, the broaching tool fixing member (220) is firmly connected to the top of the broaching tool (210) through a screw connection, a collet connection, or a quick change coupling structure, and is configured to prevent the phase of the broaching tool (210) from changing or becoming detached even under high-speed reciprocating movement and high-load cutting conditions.
[0084] Finally, the broaching tool transfer member (230) is positioned at the top of the processing section (200) and serves as a main driving member for transferring the broaching tool (210) in the up and down direction.
[0085] Specifically, the broaching tool transfer member (230) may be implemented as a hydraulic cylinder, a pneumatic cylinder, or an electric linear actuator, but is not limited to these types and may include any conventional linear drive mechanism capable of providing linear reciprocating power.
[0086] Additionally, the broaching tool fixing member (220) is coupled to the lower end of the broaching tool transfer member (230), so that the broaching tool (210) is lowered in the direction of the processing position or raised in the opposite direction of the processing position according to the linear movement of the broaching tool transfer member (230).
[0087] FIG. 5 is an enlarged cross-sectional view showing the detailed configuration of a jig part (300) according to one embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 6 is a front view and a side view showing the detailed configuration of a first jig module (310) according to one embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 7 is a cross-sectional view showing the detailed configuration of a second jig module (320) according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0088] Referring to FIGS. 5 to 7, the jig unit (300) is configured to grasp a workpiece supplied from the supply unit (100), move it to a broaching execution position (A), and support the workpiece at the broaching execution position (A) while the broaching process is executed by the processing unit (200).
[0089] Specifically, the jig unit (300) includes a first jig module (310) and a second jig module (320).
[0090] First, the first jig module (310) is configured to grasp the workpiece supplied from the supply unit (100), rotate the grasped workpiece to change the processing area of the workpiece, and be configured to be able to move forward or backward relative to the broaching processing execution position (A).
[0091] In addition, the first jig module (310) is configured with a driving method that allows the workpiece to be rotated by a predetermined angle after moving to the broaching execution position (A) while holding one side of the workpiece.
[0092] Specifically, the first jig module (310) includes a first grip module (311) that grips one side of the workpiece; and a rotary drive motor (312) that rotates the first grip module (311) using a virtual axis formed by the forward or backward movement of the first jig module (310) as the axis of rotation.
[0093] First, the first grip module (311) grips the workpiece supplied from the supply unit (100), and while gripping the workpiece, the first grip module (311) moves forward toward the direction of the broaching work execution position (A), and brings the workpiece reference surface (C) into close contact with the second jig module (310).
[0094] In particular, the first grip module (311) is configured to perform rotational driving for switching the processing area while the processing reference surface (C) of the workpiece is fixed to the broaching processing execution position (A) by pressing against the second jig module (310).
[0095] At this time, the first grip module (311) maintains the pressure applied to the workpiece at all times without releasing it, thereby fundamentally preventing axial play in the workpiece or a decrease in positional accuracy during the rotation process.
[0096] Next, the rotary drive motor (312) is characterized by being configured to rotate the workpiece by a predetermined angle and then fix the workpiece in the rotated position.
[0097] Specifically, the rotary drive motor (312) acts as the driving agent for rotating the first grip module (311), and when the rotary drive motor (312) is operated while the workpiece is maintained in a pressurized state, the first grip module (311) rotates at a predetermined angle, and the workpiece held by the first grip module (311) also rotates together with the rotation of the first grip module (311).
[0098] When the workpiece is rotated by a predetermined angle and one of the multiple processing areas is aligned on the processing path of the broaching tool (210), the rotary drive motor (312) is fixed so that the workpiece maintains the rotated position.
[0099] Next, the second jig module (320) is installed to be fixed to the broaching execution location (A), and is configured to press the workpiece together with the first jig module (310) while the processing unit (200) moves in the up and down direction, thereby supporting the workpiece in a fixed manner to the broaching execution location (A).
[0100] Specifically, the second jig module (320) is configured in a passive manner so as to be able to rotate or be fixed in response to the rotational drive of the first jig module (310) while supporting the workpiece in a fixed manner together with the first jig module (310).
[0101] More specifically, the second jig module (320) comprises: a second jig module body (321) fixedly installed with respect to the broaching processing execution position (A); and a second grip module (322) provided facing the first grip module (311) in front of the second jig module body (321), which grips or supports the other side of the workpiece against the pressure transmitted through the first grip module (311) and the workpiece when the first jig module (310) has moved to the broaching processing execution position (A). and includes a passive rotational support module (323) provided between the second jig module body (321) and the second grip module (322), coupled to rotate together with the second grip module (322) at the rear of the second grip module (322), and coupled to the second jig module body (321) so as to be rotatable with respect to the second jig module body (321) with the virtual axis formed by the forward or backward movement of the first jig module (310) as the axis of rotation.
[0102] First, the second jig module body (321) is firmly fixed to the broaching execution position (A) on the base frame of the broaching processing device (1000) to prevent structural deformation or shaking of the device from strong cutting loads generated during broaching processing and pressure applied from the first jig module (310), and to stably maintain the workpiece at the broaching execution position (A).
[0103] Next, the second grip module (322) is provided facing the first grip module (311) at the front of the second jig module body (321) to directly support the other side of the workpiece.
[0104] Specifically, the second grip module (322) comprises a flat portion (322-1) that contacts and supports the rear surface of the workpiece; an inner support step portion (322-2) that is inserted into the rear inner surface of the workpiece and supports the inner surface; and a rear body portion (322-3) that is coupled with a passive rotational support module (323).
[0105] In particular, the above-mentioned flat portion (322-1) is an area that comes into direct contact with the processing reference surface (C) of the workpiece, and frictional wear may occur due to the application and release of pressure resulting from the repetition of the broaching process. Accordingly, the second grip module (322) can be configured in a detachable manner to be replaceable with respect to the passive rotational support module (323), thereby improving maintainability. Furthermore, since it is possible to replace the second grip module (322) with a different specification in response to changes in the size or shape of the workpiece, the process compatibility of the device can be maximized.
[0106] In addition, the passive rotational support module (323) is provided between the second jig module body (321) and the second grip module (322) and receives rotational force transmitted from the first jig module (310) through the workpiece and rotates passively.
[0107] Specifically, as the rotational drive motor (312) of the first jig module (310) operates, the first grip module (311) rotates, and thereby the workpiece held between the first grip module (311) and the second grip module (322) also rotates around the same axis.
[0108] At this time, the second jig module body (321) is fixedly installed at the broaching processing execution location (A), but the passive rotation support module (323) combined with the second grip module (322) is formed to be rotatable within the second jig module body (321).
[0109] That is, the rotational driving force of the rotary drive motor (312) equipped in the first jig module (310) is directly transmitted to the passive rotary support module (323) via the first grip module (311), the workpiece, and the second grip module (322), thereby enabling the continuous rotational operation for switching the processing area of the workpiece without releasing the close contact state in which the entire jig part presses against the workpiece.
[0110] Additionally, the passive rotational support module (323) comprises: a cylindrical front body (323-1) having a receiving groove formed to receive and fix the rear body portion (322-3) of the second grip module (322); a cylindrical middle body (323-2) extending rearward from the front body and having a relatively small diameter; and a rear body (323-3) extending rearward again from the middle body (323-2) and including a rear end portion having the smallest diameter.
[0111] In order to stably support the rotation of the passive rotational support module (323) which is composed of a three-stage body structure having such a step, the second jig module (320) further includes a plurality of bearings (324).
[0112] Specifically, the plurality of bearings (324) include a front bearing (324-1) supporting the outer surface of the front body (323-1); an intermediate bearing (324-2) supporting the outer surface of the intermediate body (323-2); and a rear bearing (324-3) supporting the outer surface of the rear end of the rear body (323-3).
[0113] This three-stage bearing structure can stably support the rotation of the passive rotation support module (323) even in an environment where strong pressure is applied from the first jig module (310), and can rotate it in a passive manner.
[0114] Additionally, the second jig module (310) may further include a sealing ring (325) positioned between the front outer surface of the passive rotating support module (323) and the front inner surface of the second jig module body (321).
[0115] Specifically, the sealing ring (325) fundamentally blocks cutting fluid, cutting chips, and other foreign substances scattered during broaching from entering the front, middle, and rear bearing sides inside, thereby preventing damage to the bearing and maintaining the durability of the passive rotation structure for a long period of time.
[0116] In addition, the second jig module (320) further includes at least one coupling member (326). As a result, the second grip module (322) and the passive rotation support module (323) are mutually constrained through at least one coupling member (326) and are integrally rotatably coupled.
[0117] Specifically, the coupling member (326) is configured to penetrate the inner support step portion (322-2) of the second grip module (322) from the front to the rear direction and to be threaded to the front body (323-1) of the passive rotation support module (323).
[0118] The workpiece of the present invention is mainly formed in a hollow shape with an empty interior, and the coupling member (326) is positioned in a stepped portion (322-2) located inside the inner diameter of the workpiece, thereby securing a robust coupling structure and an easy part replacement structure without physical spatial interference with the workpiece.
[0119] Preferably, the coupling members (326) may be provided in multiple numbers. The multiple coupling members (326) are arranged at equal intervals along the circumferential direction on the front surface of the stepped portion (322-2) of the second grip module (322), penetrate the second grip module (322), and are coupled to the passive rotational support module (323).
[0120] This equally spaced coupling structure ensures that the rotational force transmitted from the first jig module (310) through the workpiece is reliably transmitted between the second grip module (322) and the passive rotation support module (323) without slipping. Through this, a power transmission mechanism is formed in which the second grip module (322) and the passive rotation support module (323) can reliably rotate together with the workpiece as a single unit.
[0121] FIG. 8 is a plan view and a side view showing the detailed configuration of the tool guide part (327) of the second jig module (320) according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0122] Referring to FIG. 8, the second jig module (320) according to the present invention further includes a tool guide part (324) that is positioned at the upper and lower positions of the workpiece relative to the broaching work execution position (A) in the front part and guides the vertical movement of the broaching tool (210).
[0123] Specifically, the tool guide portion (324) comprises: a tool guide hole (324-1) provided to correspond to the shape and size of the broaching tool (210) so that the broaching tool (210) passes through; a first contact guide (324-2) provided on one side of the tool guide hole (324-1) to contact one side of the broaching tool (210) when the broaching tool (210) moves up and down and to limit one side of the tool guide hole (324-1); and a second contact guide (324-3) provided on the other side of the tool guide hole (324-1) to contact the other side of the broaching tool (210) when the broaching tool (210) moves up and down and to limit the other side of the tool guide hole (324-1). and includes a contact guide forward transfer module (324-4) configured to advance at least one of the first contact guide (324-2) and the second contact guide (324-3) toward the center of the tool guide hole (324-1).
[0124] First, the tool guide hole (324-1) is formed in a hollow shape corresponding to the cross-sectional shape and size of the broaching tool (210) so that the broaching tool (210) can pass through it. This serves as a guide passage that prevents the broaching tool (210) from shaking left and right during the broaching process, thereby maintaining constant machining precision for multiple machining areas of the workpiece.
[0125] Next, the first contact guide (327-2) and the second contact guide (327-3) are respectively provided on both sides of the tool guide hole (327-1), and physically contact and support both sides of the broaching tool (210) when the broaching tool (210) moves up and down.
[0126] Specifically, the first contact guide (327-2) and the second contact guide (327-3) directly support the strong lateral pressure (lateral pressure) generated during broaching, thereby preventing bending or vibration of the broaching tool (210) moving up and down, and maintaining machining precision.
[0127] Additionally, the first contact guide (327-2) and the second contact guide (327-3) are detachably coupled to the tool guide hole (327-1).
[0128] This maximizes the convenience of maintenance and improves the operating rate of the equipment by allowing only the contact guide part to be quickly replaced without disassembling the entire device, even if wear occurs on the contact guides due to continuous friction with the broaching tool (210).
[0129] Finally, the forward transfer module (327-4) for the contact guide is configured to transfer at least one of the first contact guide (327-2) and the second contact guide (327-3) by applying pressure toward the center of the tool guide hole (327-1).
[0130] As described above, the contact guides may experience wear due to continuous friction with the broaching tool (210). If a small gap is created between the broaching tool (210) and the contact guides due to this wear, left-right shaking or vibration may occur during the up-and-down movement of the broaching tool (210), which may cause the dimensional accuracy of the workpiece's surface to decrease or the surface roughness to become poor.
[0131] Accordingly, the forward transfer module (327-4) for the contact guide applies fine pressure to the contact guide in the direction of the center of the tool guide hole (327-1), thereby enabling the contact gap to be adjusted in real time according to the fine thickness difference or degree of wear of the broaching tool (210).
[0132] By maintaining an optimal close contact state between the broaching tool (210) and the contact guide at all times, processing errors are minimized, and vibrations occurring during broaching are effectively suppressed.
[0133] FIG. 9 is a cross-sectional view showing the detailed configuration of a hydraulic cylinder (328) of a second jig module (320) according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0134] Referring to FIG. 9, the second jig module (320) further includes a hydraulic cylinder (328) that provides driving force for the forward or backward movement of the first jig module (310).
[0135] Specifically, the hydraulic cylinder (328) comprises: a hydraulic cylinder body (328-1); a cushion valve (328-2) configured to absorb shock and provided on one side of the hydraulic cylinder body (328-1); and a bypass valve (328-3) that diverts or bypasses the flow of hydraulic fluid supplied to the hydraulic cylinder body (328-1) to vary the movement speed of the first jig module (310).
[0136] First, the hydraulic cylinder body (328-1) is equipped with a piston and a piston rod inside, and moves in a straight reciprocating motion in a manner such that a part of the piston rod is pulled out of the cylinder or pulled inward by hydraulic fluid supplied through hydraulic ports formed at the front and rear ends.
[0137] The above piston rod is extended from the hydraulic cylinder body (328-1) so as to be able to move back and forth and is positioned to apply driving force to one side of the first jig module (310), and by transmitting thrust through an interlocking structure, the first jig module (310) is moved forward and backward relative to the second jig module (320).
[0138] The above cushion valve (328-2) can be subdivided into a first cushion valve provided at the front end of the hydraulic cylinder body (328-1) to absorb shock upon completion of forward movement, and a second cushion valve provided at the rear end of the cylinder body to absorb shock upon completion of reverse movement.
[0139] That is, the first cushion valve is provided at the front end of the hydraulic cylinder body (328-1) and is configured to absorb the shock generated when the first jig module (310) moves forward in the direction of the broaching process execution position (A).
[0140] In addition, the second cushion valve is provided at the rear end of the hydraulic cylinder body (328-1) and is configured to absorb the shock generated when the first jig module (310) moves backward in the opposite direction of the broaching execution position (A).
[0141] In this way, the cushion valve (328-2) dampens mechanical impact and vibration that occur when the first jig module (310) completes a forward or backward movement, thereby significantly extending the overall durability and service life of the equipment.
[0142] Additionally, the bypass valve (328-3) diverts or bypasses the flow of hydraulic fluid to vary the movement speed of the first jig module (310) to high speed or low speed.
[0143] Specifically, the bypass valve (328-3) maximizes the flow rate to rapidly advance at high speed during the section where the first jig module (310) moves forward in the direction of the broaching operation execution position (A), and controls the flow rate to divert the flow rate to allow for precise approach at low speed just before the processing reference surface (C) of the workpiece is placed on the second jig module (320).
[0144] Likewise, the bypass valve (328-3) also operates in the section where it moves backward in the opposite direction of the first jig module (310) broaching execution position (A) after the broaching process on the workpiece is completed.
[0145] In other words, it is configured to minimize non-processing time by maximizing the flow of hydraulic fluid during the initial reverse movement to achieve rapid, high-speed reversing, and to mitigate mechanical shock applied to the device by controlling the flow rate to decelerate just before reaching the reversing completion point.
[0146] In this way, the bypass valve (328-3) prevents the first jig module (310) from colliding abruptly with the second jig module (320), thereby improving the durability of the device and providing the effect of fundamentally preventing damage to the workpiece.
[0147] FIG. 10 is a block diagram illustrating a control system by a control unit (400) of a broaching processing device (1000) according to one embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 11 is an operation state diagram sequentially illustrating a processing mechanism of a broaching processing device (1000) according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0148] Referring to FIGS. 10 and 11, the broaching processing device (1000) according to the present invention further includes a control unit (400) that integrally controls the operation of the supply unit (100), the processing unit (200), and the jig unit (300).
[0149] The above control unit (400) is electrically connected to the supply unit (100), the processing unit (200), and the jig unit (300) to control a broaching processing process in which the processing area is switched by rotation alone without releasing the contact state after the workpiece is in contact once until the process is completed.
[0150] Specifically, the broaching process performed by the control unit (400) consists of the following steps.
[0151] The control unit (400) applies a driving signal to the supply unit (100) to transfer a workpiece grasped from the outside to the upper part of the jig unit (300).
[0152] The above supply unit (100) stably holds the workpiece through the gripper (110), then moves horizontally to the upper part of the broaching processing area by the horizontal moving member (120), and then moves to a position between the first jig module (310) and the second jig module (320) by the vertical moving member (130).
[0153] When the workpiece is placed at the processing preparation position between the first jig module (310) and the second jig module (320), the control unit (400) controls the first grip module (311) of the first jig module (310) to grip one end of the workpiece.
[0154] When the first grip module (311) finishes gripping the workpiece, the gripper (110) of the supply unit (100) releases the gripping of the workpiece and returns to the upper part of the jig unit (300) by means of the vertical moving member (130).
[0155] When the workpiece is held in the first jig module (310), the control unit (400) applies a forward signal to the hydraulic cylinder (328) of the second jig module (320). At this time, the control unit (400) performs a high-speed forward operation of the first jig module (310) by opening the bypass valve (328-3) provided in the hydraulic cylinder (328) to minimize flow resistance.
[0156] Accordingly, hydraulic fluid flows in in large quantities through a bypass path, and the first jig module (310) moves forward at high speed to the vicinity of the broaching processing position (A).
[0157] Subsequently, when the first jig module (310) approaches the broaching processing position (A), it switches to a low-speed forward stage. In this stage, the bypass valve (328-3) is closed by a control signal from the control unit (400). As the bypass valve (328-3) is closed, the hydraulic fluid passes through the first cushion valve, which generates flow resistance, and is discharged.
[0158] As a result, the first jig module (310) is decelerated and moves at a low speed before reaching the broaching processing position (A), and finally, when it reaches the broaching processing position (A), the collision energy is absorbed by the first cushion valve and the mechanical shock is mitigated, and it is pressed against the second jig module (320).
[0159] Through such high-speed and low-speed forward movement control, the processing reference surface (C) of the workpiece is pressed against the second jig module (320) without impact.
[0160] At this time, the second grip module (322) receives the processing reference surface (C) of the advancing workpiece and completely adheres it to the inside, and together with the first grip module (311), firmly grips and fixes both ends of the workpiece.
[0161] Afterward, until the broaching process for the entire plurality of processing areas is completed, the processing reference surface (C) of the workpiece is continuously maintained in a gripping state in close contact with the second grip module (322).
[0162] When it is confirmed that the processing reference surface (C) of the above-mentioned workpiece is fixed by being pressed in close contact with the second jig module (320), the control unit (400) controls the processing unit (200) and the jig unit (300) in conjunction to perform continuous broaching processing for a plurality of processing areas.
[0163] Specifically, the control unit (400) applies a driving signal to the processing unit (200) to lower the broaching tool (210).
[0164] The descending broaching tool (210) penetrates one of the multiple processing zones of a workpiece fixed at the broaching execution position (A) and performs actual cutting processing.
[0165] When the cutting of the area is completed, the control unit (400) raises the broaching tool (210) back to its initial position.
[0166] When the broaching tool (210) returns to a state where it can be switched to the next processing area, the control unit (400) applies a rotation signal to the rotation drive motor (312) of the first jig module (310) while maintaining the state in which the processing reference surface (C) of the workpiece is pressed against the second jig module (320) without releasing it.
[0167] Accordingly, the workpiece rotates by a predetermined angle while remaining in a state of being pressed between the first jig module (310) and the second jig module (320).
[0168] At this time, the first grip module (311) of the first jig module (310) which directly holds the workpiece and the second grip module (322) of the second jig module (320) rotate integrally with the workpiece, and the passive rotation support module (323) coupled with the second grip module (322) rotates in synchronization within the second jig module body (321) by the rotational force transmitted from the workpiece.
[0169] Accordingly, the control unit (400) aligns the next processing area of the workpiece to face the downward path of the broaching tool (210).
[0170] Once alignment is complete, the rotational position of the workpiece is firmly fixed by the strong close pressure between the first grip module (311) and the second grip module (322), thereby maintaining the workpiece so that no phase displacement or shaking occurs even while the broaching tool (210) descends to perform cutting.
[0171] Afterwards, the control unit (400) lowers the broaching tool (210) again to perform cutting on the next processing area.
[0172] The unit cycle described above, consisting of ‘broaching tool (210) lowering - broaching processing - broaching tool (210) raising - processing area rotation,’ is repeated until the cutting of the entire processing area of the workpiece is completed, and throughout this process, the first jig module (310) does not move backward or release the close pressure state, and the constant pressure state is maintained.
[0173] When the broaching process for all processing areas is completed, the control unit (400) applies a reverse signal to the hydraulic cylinder (328) to control the reverse movement of the first jig module (310).
[0174] In the same way as forward movement, backward movement is also performed by dividing it into a high-speed backward phase and a low-speed backward phase.
[0175] In the high-speed reverse stage, the bypass valve (328-3) is controlled to open when the first jig module (310) begins to move in the opposite direction of the broaching processing position (A).
[0176] Accordingly, the hydraulic fluid inside the hydraulic cylinder body (328-1) is rapidly discharged in large volume through a bypass path, minimizing hydraulic resistance, and the first jig module (310) moves backward at a very high speed to near the point where the backward movement is completed.
[0177] Subsequently, when the first jig module (310) approaches the point where reverse is completed, it switches to a low-speed reverse stage. In this stage, the bypass valve (328-3) is closed by a control signal from the control unit (400), and as the bypass valve (328-3) is closed, the hydraulic fluid is discharged by forcibly passing through the second cushion valve, which is provided at the rear end of the hydraulic cylinder body (328-1) and generates flow resistance.
[0178] As a result, the first jig module (310) is rapidly decelerated before stopping and moves at a low speed, and the mechanical shock that occurs when it finally reaches the point of reverse completion and stops is smoothly absorbed through the hydraulic cushioning action of the second cushion valve.
[0179] Consequently, the present invention performs continuous broaching on an entire plurality of processing areas with only a single forward and backward movement, without the need to repeat forward and backward movements whenever the processing area is switched.
[0180] That is, once the processing reference surface (C) of the workpiece is in contact with the second jig module (320), the processing area is switched by rotation without releasing the contact state until the entire process is completed, thereby eliminating the non-processing time required for conventional repetitive reciprocating movement, maximizing the driving efficiency of the device, and drastically shortening the cycle time of the entire process.
[0181] In addition, since the pressurized state is not released throughout the entire processing process, foreign substances such as chips or cutting fluid generated during processing are fundamentally prevented from entering the contact surface between the workpiece and the processing reference surface (C), thereby preventing a decrease in processing precision and ensuring a high-quality processed surface.
[0182] Although the present invention has been described above with reference to the embodiments illustrated in the drawings, this is merely for the purpose of explaining the invention, and those skilled in the art will understand that various modifications or equivalent embodiments are possible from the detailed description of the invention.
