AI Technical Summary
Existing display devices with bent structures face challenges in transmitting data voltage to pixels in the bent areas, leading to inefficiencies and increased dead space due to the need for fan-out wiring.
The display device incorporates a substrate with a first and second display area connected by a bypass data line, which includes horizontal and vertical bypass wirings, allowing data voltage transmission without fan-out wiring, and omits pixel formation in non-display areas to facilitate smoother bending.
This design reduces dead space and enables smoother bending by eliminating fan-out wiring and pixel layers in non-display areas, enhancing the structural flexibility and efficiency of data transmission.
