Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] This invention relates to a device for generating sterilized water from raw water containing chlorine, such as tap water. Background Technology
[0002] Humans must consume food containing various nutrients to sustain life. Since mass food poisoning incidents frequently occur due to unsanitary management in places like school or hospital cafeterias and large-scale food service facilities where many people consume food, thorough hygiene management during the cooking process is necessary to prevent food poisoning. Recently, as consumers prefer healthy food, the number of farms producing organic and pesticide-free fruits and vegetables has increased. However, these produce is grown without chemical fertilizers, utilizing compost made by fermenting animal manure or low-toxicity pesticides. Consequently, since these produce may be exposed to various bacteria, E. coli, and general germs contaminating the soil, potentially leading to infection for consumers, strict hygiene management is essential.
[0003] Meanwhile, although it is recommended to avoid eating raw foods and instead cook them, there are fresh foods that must inevitably be consumed raw due to the nature of the dishes. For example, vegetables used in hamburgers or toast, perilla leaves, lettuce, and green onions used with grilled meat, as well as various fruits and strawberries, are all foods that cannot be cooked and must be consumed raw. Food poisoning incidents can be prevented by keeping these fresh foods uncooked and managing them hygienically in accordance with the sterilization and washing standards stipulated in the HACCP guidelines of the Food Sanitation Act.
[0004] According to the sterilization and washing standards stipulated in the HACCP standards of the Food Sanitation Act, when using sodium hypochlorite as a food additive, food must be washed by immersing it for about 10 minutes in a chlorine concentration of 100 ppm or more and 200 ppm or less, followed by rinsing it at least three times with drinking water. However, in actual kitchens, these regulations are not well observed because it is difficult to meet the chlorine standards during short cooking times, and the risk of safety accidents increases due to carelessness when handling chemicals. In particular, the process of rinsing at least three times with drinking water is very cumbersome, so it is rarely followed in practice. The problem to be solved
[0005] The invention provides a heterogeneous sterilization water generating device capable of generating high-concentration sterilization water with strong sterilizing power when washing food or cooking utensils with a high risk of bacterial contamination, and generating low-concentration sterilization water that is safe for user consumption when washing objects such as a user's hands, dining table, dishcloth, cutlery, and cups where the use of high-concentration sterilization water is limited. The invention is not limited to the technical problems described above, and other technical problems may be derived from the following description. means of solving the problem

[0010] The above-described heterogeneous sterilization water generating device further comprises: a first water supply pipe connected between the water supply distributor and the electrolytic cell to transfer raw water stored in the water supply distributor to the electrolytic cell; a second water supply pipe connected between the water supply distributor and the brine generating tank to transfer raw water stored in the water supply distributor to the brine generating tank; and a first solenoid valve installed in the second water supply pipe to allow or block the transfer of raw water from the water supply distributor to the brine generating tank, and the control unit can control the opening and closing of the first solenoid valve so that when a mode selection signal output from the switch unit indicates the ON of the low sterilization mode, the raw water stored in the water supply distributor is transferred to the electrolytic cell, and when a mode selection signal output from the switch unit indicates the ON of the high sterilization mode, the raw water stored in the water supply distributor is transferred to the electrolytic cell and the brine generating tank.
[0011] The above water distribution device includes a plurality of water tanks that separate and store raw water supplied through the raw water supply pipe, and the raw water stored in the first water tank among the plurality of water tanks is supplied to the electrolytic cell, and the raw water stored in the second water tank among the plurality of water tanks can be mixed with the first sterilized water generated in the electrolytic cell and discharged through the discharge pipe.
[0012] The above-described heterogeneous sterilization water generating device further includes a water flow sensor installed in the raw water supply pipe to detect the flow of raw water within the raw water supply pipe, and the control unit can control the power supply of the electrolytic cell to start electrolysis of the raw water or mixed water in the electrolytic cell based on the time when the flow of raw water is detected by the water flow sensor.

Effects of the invention
[0015] By electrolyzing raw water supplied through a raw water supply pipe according to a mode selection signal indicating whether the low sterilization mode and the high sterilization mode are on or off, a first sterilization water containing hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is produced, or a second sterilization water containing sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) is produced by electrolyzing a mixture of raw water and brine, thereby allowing a first sterilization water with a low chlorine concentration that is unsalted or a second sterilization water with a high chlorine concentration to be produced according to the user's selection. Accordingly, the user can use the second sterilization water with a high concentration of sterilizing power for washing food or cooking utensils that are at high risk of bacterial contamination, and the first sterilization water with a low concentration that is safe for the user to drink is used for washing the user's hands, table, dishcloth, cutlery, cup, etc., where the use of the high concentration sterilization water is limited.
[0016] After sterilizing objects with high-concentration disinfectant water, a re-washing process using raw water or primary disinfectant water is required because the residual chlorine level must be low at the stage where humans come into direct contact or consume the object; however, this re-washing is frequently not observed. Since low-concentration primary disinfectant water can be used to clean objects with a low risk of bacterial contamination, the health and safety of users can be ensured from harm caused by residual chlorine even if the re-washing procedure is not followed. In particular, contact of the human body, such as hands, with high-concentration disinfectant water can cause skin stinging and itching, and items such as dining tables, dishcloths, cutlery, and cups are objects where users are likely to ingest residual chlorine; therefore, using low-concentration primary disinfectant water for cleaning these items can more reliably protect the health and safety of users from harm caused by residual chlorine.
[0017] The effects are not limited to those described above, and other effects may be derived from the following description. Brief explanation of the drawing

[0019] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. The embodiments of the present invention to be described below relate to a heterogeneous sterilization water generating device capable of generating high-concentration sterilization water with strong sterilizing power when washing food or cooking utensils with a high risk of bacterial contamination, and generating low-concentration sterilization water that is safe for user consumption when washing objects to be washed, such as a user's hands, dining table, dishcloth, cutlery, and cup, where the use of high-concentration sterilization water is limited. Hereinafter, such a device will be briefly referred to as a "heterogeneous sterilization water generating device."
[0020] FIG. 1 is a configuration diagram of a heterogeneous sterilization water generating device according to one embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 1, the heterogeneous sterilization water generating device according to the present embodiment comprises a switch unit (10), a water supply distributor (20), a brine generating tank (30), an electrolytic cell (40), a control unit (50), a power supply unit (60), a water flow sensor (101), a water level sensor (102), a filter (103), a flow meter (104), a check valve (105), a raw water supply pipe (L1), a secondary water supply pipe (L2), a first water supply pipe (L3), a second water supply pipe (L4), a brine circulation pipe (L5), a brine supply pipe (L6), a sterilization water supply pipe (L7), a sterilization water outlet pipe (L8), a brine circulation pump (P1), a brine supply pump (P2), and a plurality of electronic valves (V1, V2, V3, V4). In Figure 1, the solid line represents a pipe through which water flows, and the dotted line represents a line through which electric current flows.
[0021] The switch unit (10) outputs a mode selection signal indicating the on or off of each of a plurality of operation modes, including a low sterilization mode and a high sterilization mode, according to user operation. The plurality of operation modes of the heterogeneous sterilization water generating device according to the present embodiment consists of a low sterilization mode and a high sterilization mode. The switch unit (10) may be composed of a combination of two button switches (11, 12), each of which turns on or off according to user operation, namely a first button switch (11) and a second button switch (12). Each button switch (11, 12) may be implemented as a latching type button switch that turns on the moment it is pressed by the user and turns off when pressed again. The on or off of the low sterilization mode is determined according to user operation on the first button switch (11), and the on or off of the high sterilization mode is determined according to user operation on the second button switch (12).
[0022] When the first button switch (11) is turned on by a user while the second button switch (12) is off, the switch unit (10) outputs a mode selection signal indicating the on of the low sterilization mode. When the second button switch (12) is turned on by a user while the first button switch (11) is off, the switch unit (10) outputs a mode selection signal indicating the on of the high sterilization mode. When both the first button switch (11) and the second button switch (12) are pressed by a user and turned on simultaneously, the switch unit (10) outputs a mode selection signal indicating the on of the low sterilization mode and the high sterilization mode. Since the heterogeneous sterilization water generating device according to the present embodiment operates only in one of the sterilization modes, the low sterilization mode and the high sterilization mode, it does not operate when both the first button switch (11) and the second button switch (12) are turned on.
[0023] The raw water supply pipe (L1) is connected between the water supply pipe and the water distribution manifold (20) to supply raw water flowing through the water supply pipe to the water distribution manifold (20), thereby supplying raw water flowing through the water supply pipe to the electrolytic tank (40) and the brine generation tank (30). One end of the raw water supply pipe (L1) is connected to the outlet of the water supply pipe, and the other end is connected to the inlet of the water distribution manifold (20). The raw water flowing through the water supply pipe is generally referred to as tap water and contains a small amount of chlorine. Accordingly, the raw water supplied through the raw water supply pipe (L1) also contains a small amount of chlorine.
[0024] An electronic valve A (V1) and a water flow sensor (101) are installed in the raw water supply pipe (L1). The electronic valve A (V1) is installed in the raw water supply pipe (L1) and is opened or closed according to the control of the control unit (50) to allow or block the supply of raw water from the water supply pipe to the water distribution manifold (20). The control unit (50) controls the opening and closing of the electronic valve A (V1) so that raw water is supplied from the water supply pipe to the water distribution manifold (20) when the mode selection signal output from the switch unit (10) indicates that the electronic valve A (V1) is open while the low sterilization mode is on or the high sterilization mode is on.
[0025] A water flow sensor (101) is installed in the raw water supply pipe (L1) to detect the flow of raw water within the raw water supply pipe (L1). When the water flow sensor (101) detects the flow of raw water within the raw water supply pipe (L1), it generates a signal indicating that raw water is flowing within the raw water supply pipe (L1) at the time the flow of raw water within the raw water supply pipe (L1) is detected and transmits it to the control unit (50). The control unit (50) controls the power supply of the electrolytic cell (40) so that electrolysis of the raw water or mixed water in the electrolytic cell (40) begins based on the time when the flow of raw water is detected by the water flow sensor (101) while the mode selection signal output from the switch unit (10) indicates the ON of the low sterilization mode or the ON of the high sterilization mode. Here, mixed water refers to a mixture of raw water and brine, which will be explained in detail below.
[0026] That is, the control unit (50) supplies power to a plurality of electrodes of the electrolytic cell (40) so that electrolysis of raw water or mixed water in the electrolytic cell (40) begins from the point when it starts receiving a signal from the water flow sensor (101) indicating that raw water is flowing in the raw water supply pipe (L1) while the mode selection signal output from the switch unit (10) indicates that the low sterilization mode is ON or the high sterilization mode is ON. When raw water is not flowing in the raw water supply pipe (L1), raw water or mixed water is not supplied to the electrolytic cell (40). If electrolysis begins in a no-load state where raw water or mixed water is not supplied to the electrolytic cell (40), the plurality of electrodes inside the electrolytic cell (40) may be damaged.
[0027] The water supply distributor (20) stores the raw water supplied through the raw water supply pipe (L1) and distributes it to the electrolytic tank (40) and the brine generation tank (30) such that when the mode selection signal output from the switch unit (10) indicates the low sterilization mode, the raw water supplied through the raw water supply pipe (L1) is transferred to the electrolytic tank (40) and the brine generation tank (30), and when the mode selection signal output from the switch unit (10) indicates the high sterilization mode, the raw water supplied through the raw water supply pipe (L1) is transferred to the electrolytic tank (40) and the brine generation tank (30). The water supply distributor (20) is composed of two water tanks (21, 22) that separate and store the raw water supplied through the raw water supply pipe (L1), a first water tank connecting pipe (23), a second water tank connecting pipe (24), an electronic valve B (V2), and an electronic valve C (V2).
[0028] The first tank (21) and the second tank (22), which are two tanks (21, 22) that separate and store raw water supplied through the raw water supply pipe (L1), can be formed with a structure in which a partition wall is installed inside a rectangular prism-shaped container. The raw water stored in the first tank (21) is supplied to the electrolytic cell (40) when the mode selection signal output from the switch unit (10) indicates the low sterilization mode is ON, and is supplied to the electrolytic cell (40) and the brine generation tank (30) when the mode selection signal output from the switch unit (10) indicates the high sterilization mode is ON. The raw water stored in the second tank (22) is mixed with the first sterilized water or the second sterilized water generated in the electrolytic cell (40) and discharged through the sterilized water outlet pipe (L8).
[0029] The first tank (21) is formed in the shape of a rectangular prism with a hollow interior and has one inlet and four outlets. The inlet of the first tank (21) is connected to the end of the raw water supply pipe (L1), and raw water supplied through the raw water supply pipe (L1) is stored in the first tank (21). Among the four outlets of the first tank (21), the first outlet is connected to one end of the first water supply pipe (L3), so that some of the raw water stored in the first tank (21) is supplied to the electrolytic tank (40) through the first water supply pipe (L3). Among the four outlets of the first tank (21), the second outlet is connected to one end of the second water supply pipe (L4), so that some of the raw water stored in the first tank (21) is supplied to the brine generation tank (30) through the second water supply pipe (L4). Among the four outlets of the first tank (21), the third and fourth outlets are connected to one end of the first tank connecting pipe (23) and one end of the second tank connecting pipe (24), so that some of the raw water stored in the first tank (21) is supplied to the second tank (22) through the first tank connecting pipe (23) or the second tank connecting pipe (24).
[0030] The second tank (22) is formed in the shape of a rectangular prism with a hollow interior and has two inlets and one outlet. The two inlets of the second tank (22) are connected to the other end of the first tank connecting pipe (23) and the other end of the second tank connecting pipe (24), so that some of the raw water stored in the first tank (21) is supplied to and stored in the second tank (22) through the first tank connecting pipe (23) or the second tank connecting pipe (24). The outlet of the second tank (22) is connected to one end of the secondary water supply pipe (L2), so that the raw water stored in the second tank (22) is transported through the secondary water supply pipe (L2) and mixed with the first sterilized water or the second sterilized water generated in the electrolytic cell (40). The first tank (21) and the second tank (22) serve as buffers that allow raw water to flow smoothly and without interruption inside the first water supply pipe (L3), the second water supply pipe (L4), and the second water supply pipe (L2) by temporarily storing and then discharging the raw water supplied through the raw water supply pipe (L1).
[0031] The secondary water supply pipe (L2) is connected between the second water tank (22) of the water supply distributor (20) and the sterilization water outlet pipe (L8) to transfer raw water stored in the second water tank (22) of the water supply distributor (20) to the point of confluence with the sterilization water supply pipe (L7) corresponding to one end of the sterilization water outlet pipe (L8). One end of the secondary water supply pipe (L2) is connected to the outlet of the second water tank (22), and the other end is connected to the point of confluence with the sterilization water supply pipe (L7), so that the raw water stored in the second water tank (22) is transferred through the secondary water supply pipe (L2) to the point of confluence with the sterilization water supply pipe (L7). In this embodiment, the merging point with the sterilization water supply pipe (L7) refers to a point where the other end of the sterilization water supply pipe (L2) and the other end of the sterilization water supply pipe (L7) are joined at one end of the sterilization water export pipe (L8) so that the raw water discharged from the other end of the sterilization water supply pipe (L2) and the first sterilization water or the second sterilization water discharged from the other end of the sterilization water supply pipe (L7) are joined and flow into one end of the sterilization water export pipe (L8).
[0032] The first water tank connecting pipe (23) is connected between the first water tank (21) and the second water tank (22) to transfer raw water stored in the first water tank (21) to the second water tank (22). An electronic valve B (V2) is installed in the first water tank connecting pipe (23). The electronic valve B (V2) is installed in the first water tank connecting pipe (23) and is opened or closed according to the control of the control unit (50), thereby allowing or blocking the transfer of raw water from the first water tank (21) to the second water tank (22) through the first water tank connecting pipe (23). When the mode selection signal output from the switch unit (10) indicates the ON of the low-sterilization mode, the control unit (50) controls the opening and closing of the electronic valve B (V2) to regulate the concentration of hypochlorous acid contained in the sterilized water discharged through the sterilized water outlet pipe (L8).
[0033] According to the present embodiment, the control unit (50) controls the opening and closing of the electronic valve B (V2) so that the concentration of hypochlorous acid contained in the sterilized water discharged through the sterilized water outlet pipe (L8) is lowered while the mode selection signal output from the switch unit (10) indicates the ON of the low-sterilization mode. When the electronic valve B (V2) is opened, the raw water stored in the first water tank (21) is transferred to the second water tank (22) through the first water tank connecting pipe (23). Subsequently, the raw water stored in the second water tank (22) is transferred through the secondary water supply pipe (L2) to the point of confluence with the sterilized water supply pipe (L7), which corresponds to one end of the sterilized water outlet pipe (L8). Subsequently, the raw water that arrives at the point of confluence with the sterilized water supply pipe (L7) is mixed with the first sterilized water generated in the electrolytic cell (40) and discharged through the sterilized water outlet pipe (L8). As a result, the concentration of hypochlorous acid contained in the sterilized water discharged through the sterilized water outlet pipe (L8) is lowered compared to the concentration of hypochlorous acid contained in the first sterilized water generated in the electrolytic cell (40).
[0034] The second water tank connecting pipe (24) is connected between the first water tank (21) and the second water tank (22) to transfer raw water stored in the first water tank (21) to the second water tank (22). An electronic valve C (V3) is installed in the second water tank connecting pipe (62). The electronic valve C (V3) is installed in the second water tank connecting pipe (24) and is opened or closed according to the control of the control unit (50), thereby allowing or blocking the transfer of raw water from the first water tank (21) to the second water tank (22) through the second water tank connecting pipe (24). When the mode selection signal output from the switch unit (10) indicates that the high sterilization mode is ON, the control unit (50) controls the opening and closing of the electronic valve C (V3) to regulate the concentration of sodium hypochlorite contained in the sterilized water discharged through the sterilized water outlet pipe (L8).
[0035] According to the present embodiment, the control unit (50) controls the opening and closing of the solenoid valve B (V2) so that the concentration of sodium hypochlorite contained in the sterilized water discharged through the sterilized water outlet pipe (L8) is lowered while the mode selection signal output from the switch unit (10) indicates that the high sterilization mode is ON. When the solenoid valve C (V3) is opened, the raw water stored in the first water tank (21) is transferred to the second water tank (22) through the second water tank connecting pipe (24). Subsequently, the raw water stored in the second water tank (22) is transferred through the second water supply pipe (L2) to the point of confluence with the sterilized water supply pipe (L7), which corresponds to one end of the sterilized water outlet pipe (L8). Subsequently, the raw water that arrives at the point of confluence with the sterilized water supply pipe (L7) is mixed with the second sterilized water generated in the electrolytic cell (40) and discharged through the sterilized water outlet pipe (L8). As a result, the concentration of sodium hypochlorite contained in the sterilized water discharged through the sterilized water outlet pipe (L8) is lowered compared to the concentration of sodium hypochlorite contained in the second sterilized water generated in the electrolytic cell (40).
[0036] The first water supply pipe (L3) is connected between the first water tank (21) of the water supply distributor (20) and the electrolytic cell (40) to transfer raw water stored in the first water tank (21) of the water supply distributor (20) to the electrolytic cell (40). One end of the first water supply pipe (L3) is connected to the first outlet of the first water tank (21), and the other end is connected to the first inlet of the electrolytic cell (40), so that the raw water stored in the first water tank (21) is transferred to the electrolytic cell (40) through the first water supply pipe (L3). A check valve (105) is installed in the first water supply pipe (L3) and serves to prevent backflow by ensuring that the raw water stored in the first water tank (21) flows only toward the first inlet of the electrolytic cell (40). When the electronic valve A (V1) is opened according to the control of the control unit (50), raw water begins to be stored in the first water tank (21) of the water supply distributor (20), and the raw water stored in the first water tank (21) is supplied to the electrolytic cell (40) through the first water supply pipe (L3).
[0037] The second water supply pipe (L4) is connected between the first water tank (21) of the water supply distributor (20) and the brine generating tank (30) to transfer raw water stored in the first water tank (21) of the water supply distributor (20) to the brine generating tank (30). One end of the second water supply pipe (L4) is connected to the second outlet of the first water tank (21), and the other end is connected to the inlet of the brine generating tank (30), so that the raw water stored in the first water tank (21) is transferred to the brine generating tank (30) through the second water supply pipe (L4). An electronic valve D (V4) is installed in the second water supply pipe (L4).
[0038] The solenoid valve D (V4) is installed in the second water supply pipe (L4) and is opened and closed according to the control of the control unit (50), thereby allowing or blocking the transfer of raw water from the first tank (21) of the water supply distributor (20) to the brine generation tank (30) through the second water supply pipe (L4). The control unit (50) controls the opening and closing of the solenoid valve D (V4) so that when the mode selection signal output from the switch unit (10) indicates the ON of the low sterilization mode, the raw water stored in the first tank (21) of the water supply distributor (20) is transferred to the electrolytic tank (40), and when the mode selection signal output from the switch unit (10) indicates the ON of the high sterilization mode, the raw water stored in the first tank (21) of the water supply distributor (20) is transferred to the electrolytic tank (40) and the brine generation tank (30).
[0039] The brine generating tank (30) generates brine by adding salt to raw water supplied through the raw water supply pipe (L1). For example, the brine generating tank (30) can be formed in various shapes, such as a cylinder or a square container. A large amount of salt is stored on the inner bottom surface of the brine generating tank (30). The salt stored inside the brine generating tank (30) can be periodically refilled by the user. As described above, the raw water supplied through the raw water supply pipe (L1) is stored in the first tank (21) of the water supply distributor (20). The brine generating tank (30) receives the raw water stored in the first tank (21) of the water supply distributor (20) through the second water supply pipe (L4), and generates brine by adding salt to the raw water supplied through the second water supply pipe (L4).
[0040] The water level sensor (102) detects the water level of the brine generation tank (30) using an electrode rod installed vertically inside the brine generation tank (30). Since water level detection using such an electrode rod is a technique known to those skilled in the art to which this embodiment belongs, a detailed description is omitted. As described above, the control unit (50) controls the opening and closing of the electronic valve D (V4) so that raw water stored in the first water tank (21) of the water supply distributor (20) is transferred to the brine generation tank (30) when the mode selection signal output from the switch unit (10) indicates the ON of the high sterilization mode. According to the present embodiment, the control unit (50) controls the opening and closing of the solenoid valve D (V4) so that raw water stored in the first water tank (21) of the water supply distributor (20) is transferred to the brine generation tank (30) based on the water level of the brine generation tank (30) detected by the water level sensor (102) while the mode selection signal output from the switch unit (10) indicates the ON of the high sterilization mode.
[0041] The control unit (50) controls the opening and closing of the solenoid valve D (V4) so that when the water level of the brine generating tank (30) detected by the water level sensor (102) is below a preset water level, the solenoid valve D (V4) is opened to transfer raw water stored in the first tank (21) of the water supply distributor (20) to the brine generating tank (30). Conversely, the control unit (50) controls the opening and closing of the solenoid valve D (V4) so that when the water level of the brine generating tank (30) detected by the water level sensor (102) exceeds a preset water level, the solenoid valve D (V4) is closed to block the transfer of raw water stored in the first tank (21) of the water supply distributor (20) to the brine generating tank (30). Accordingly, the water level in the brine generating tank (30) can always be maintained at a constant level. If the water level in the brine generation tank (30) drops due to a machine breakdown or water shortage, the sterilization water generation process can be blocked by the control unit (50).
[0042] The brine circulation pump (P1) serves to equalize the concentration of the brine inside the brine generating tank (30) by sucking in the brine located at the lower side of the brine generating tank (30) and discharging it at the upper side of the brine generating tank (30). The suction port of the brine circulation pump (P1) is connected to a circulation port formed at the lower side of the brine generating tank (30), and the discharge port is connected to a circulation port formed at the upper side of the brine generating tank (30), so that the brine located at the lower side of the brine generating tank (30) moves to the upper side. The control unit (50) stops the brine circulation pump (P1) while the mode selection signal output from the switch unit (10) indicates low sterilization mode ON, and operates the brine circulation pump (P1) while it indicates high sterilization mode ON. The brine circulation pipe (L5) is connected between the brine circulation pump (P1) and the brine generation tank (30) to transfer the brine sucked in by the brine circulation pump (P1) to the brine generation tank (30). One end of the brine circulation pipe (L5) is connected to the discharge port of the brine circulation pump (P1), and the other end is connected to the upper circulation port of the brine generation tank (30).
[0043] The brine supply pump (P2) is connected between the brine generating tank (30) and the electrolytic tank (40) to pump the brine generated in the brine generating tank (30) and supply it to the electrolytic tank (40). The suction port of the brine supply pump (P2) is connected to the outlet port of the brine generating tank (30), and the discharge port is connected to one end of the brine supply pipe (L6), so that the brine generated in the brine generating tank (30) is pumped by the brine supply pump (P2) and supplied to the electrolytic tank (40) through the brine supply pipe (L6). The brine supply pipe (L6) is connected between the brine generating tank (30) and the electrolytic tank (40) to transfer the brine inside the brine generating tank (30) to the electrolytic tank (40). One end of the brine supply pipe (L6) is connected to the discharge port of the brine supply pump (P2) and the other end is connected to the outlet port of the electrolytic cell (40), so that the brine sucked in by the brine supply pump (P2) is transferred to the electrolytic cell (40) through the brine supply pipe (L6).
[0044] The control unit (50) stops the brine supply pump (P2) so that the supply of brine from the brine generation tank (30) to the electrolytic tank (40) is blocked when the mode selection signal output from the switch unit (10) indicates the ON of the low sterilization mode, and operates the brine supply pump (P2) so that brine is supplied from the brine generation tank (30) to the electrolytic tank (40) when the mode selection signal output from the switch unit (10) indicates the ON of the high sterilization mode. In this embodiment, the case where the mode selection signal output from the switch unit (10) indicates the ON of the low sterilization mode means the case where the mode selection signal output from the switch unit (10) indicates the ON of the low sterilization mode and the OFF of the high sterilization mode, and the case where the mode selection signal output from the switch unit (10) indicates the ON of the high sterilization mode means the case where the mode selection signal output from the switch unit (10) indicates the OFF of the low sterilization mode and the ON of the high sterilization mode.
[0045] The electrolytic cell (40) generates a first sterilizing water containing hypochlorous acid (HOCl) by electrolyzing raw water supplied through the raw water supply pipe (L1) according to the control of the control unit (50), or generates a second sterilizing water containing sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) by electrolyzing a mixture of raw water supplied through the raw water supply pipe (L1) and brine generated in the brine generating tank (30). The control unit (50) controls the supply of brine from the brine generating tank (30) to the electrolytic cell (40) so that a first sterilizing water corresponding to a low sterilization mode or a second sterilizing water corresponding to a high sterilization mode is generated according to a mode selection signal output from the switch unit (10).
[0046] That is, the electrolytic cell (40) generates a first sterilized water containing hypochlorous acid (HOCl) by electrolyzing raw water supplied through the raw water supply pipe (L1) while the mode selection signal output from the switch unit (10) indicates low sterilization mode ON according to the control of the control unit (50), and generates a second sterilized water containing sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) by electrolyzing a mixture of raw water supplied through the raw water supply pipe (L1) and brine generated in the brine generation tank (30) while the mode selection signal output from the switch unit (10) indicates high sterilization mode ON.
[0047] The first sterilizing water generated in the electrolytic cell (40) is the result of electrolyzing raw water and can be designed as sterilizing water with a chlorine concentration of 1.5 to 2.5 ppm that meets the drinking water standard of a chlorine concentration of 4 ppm or less. In this way, although the sterilizing power of the first sterilizing water is weak for washing general food ingredients or tableware, it meets the drinking water standard, so there is no need to wash it again with drinking water separately, and it can be used when washing food ingredients with low contamination. The second sterilizing water generated in the electrolytic cell (40) is the result of electrolyzing a mixture of brine and raw water and can be designed as sterilizing water that meets the sterilizing disinfectant water standard of a chlorine concentration of 100 to 200 ppm set by the Food Sanitation Act, and can be used for washing general food ingredients or tableware.
[0048] The electrolytic cell (40) uses multiple electrode plates to electrolyze raw water supplied through the raw water supply pipe (L1), or to electrolyze a mixture of raw water supplied through the raw water supply pipe (L1) and brine generated in the brine generation tank (30). The multiple electrode plates are arranged in a multi-stage structure without a diaphragm, with the positive electrode plate (+ electrode plate) corresponding to the positive electrode and the negative electrode plate (- electrode plate) corresponding to the negative electrode being alternately arranged. For example, when brine is introduced into the electrolytic cell (40) and the voltage between the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate drops from 12V to 4V, the following applies. In this embodiment, since a constant current of 20A is supplied to the multiple electrode plates of the electrolytic cell (40), electrolysis proceeds between the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate by 4V × 20A power, and between the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate in the third stage, electrolysis proceeds by (4V + 4V + 4V) × 20A power. In this way, when multiple electrode plates are arranged in a multi-stage structure with alternating positive and negative electrode plates, the electrolysis efficiency is significantly improved.
[0049] When multiple electrode plates are arranged in a multi-stage structure without a membrane, with positive electrode plates and negative electrode plates alternately placed, the reaction equation for generating sterilized water in the electrolytic cell (40) is as follows. In the process of generating the first and second sterilized water, at the negative electrode plate which corresponds to the cathode in common, 2H2O → 2H + + 4OH - The reaction proceeds, and at the positive electrode plate corresponding to the anode, 2H2O → O2 + 4H + , Cl2 + H2O → HOCl + HCl, OH - + HOCl → OCl - The + H2O reaction proceeds. NaCl → Na₂O only in the process of generating the second disinfectant water. + + Cl - As the reaction proceeds, the concentration of chlorine, which acts as a sterilizer, increases, and the second sterilized water becomes sterilized water with a higher concentration of chlorine compared to the first sterilized water. In raw water, in addition to chlorine, K + , Ca2+ , Mg 2+ [...is present.] Accordingly, foreign substances may be deposited on the - electrode plate. To prevent the deposition of foreign substances on the - electrode plate, the + electrode plate and the - electrode plate can each be operated so that (+) and (-) polarities alternate after being treated with DSA (Dimensionally Stable Anode) coating.
[0050] The conductivity between the + electrode plate and the - electrode plate is improved in proportion to the amount of brine supplied to the electrolytic cell (40). Accordingly, as the amount of brine supplied to the electrolytic cell (40) increases, the voltage between the + electrode plate and the - electrode plate rises, and as the amount of brine supplied to the electrolytic cell (40) decreases, the voltage between the + electrode plate and the - electrode plate falls. When the mode selection signal output from the switch unit (10) indicates the ON state of the high sterilization mode, the control unit (50) can operate the brine supply pump (P2) by adjusting the ratio of the ON and OFF sections of the pumping operation of the brine supply pump (P2) according to the voltage between the + electrode plate and the - electrode plate of the electrolytic cell (40).
[0051] For example, the control unit (50) supplies brine to the electrolytic cell (40) through the brine supply pipe (L5) by operating the brine supply pump (P2) when the voltage between the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate is less than a preset low voltage, and blocks the supply of brine to the electrolytic cell (40) by stopping the brine supply pump (P2) when the voltage between the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate exceeds a preset high voltage. Accordingly, excessive injection of brine is prevented, and the chlorine concentration of the second sterilized water generated in the electrolytic cell (40) can be maintained at a constant level.
[0052] The sterilization water supply pipe (L7) is connected between the electrolytic cell (40) and the sterilization water outlet pipe (L8) to transport the first sterilization water or the second sterilization water generated in the electrolytic cell (40) to the point of confluence with the secondary water supply pipe (L2) corresponding to one end of the sterilization water outlet pipe (L8). One end of the sterilization water supply pipe (L7) is connected to the outlet of the electrolytic cell (40), and the other end is connected to one end of the sterilization water outlet pipe (L8), so that the first sterilization water or the second sterilization water generated in the electrolytic cell (40) is transported through the sterilization water supply pipe (L7) to the point of confluence with the secondary water supply pipe (L2). A filter (103) is installed in the sterilization water supply pipe (L7) and serves to remove foreign substances from the sterilization water passing through the sterilization water supply pipe (L7). One end of the sterilization water export pipe (L8) is connected to one end of the sterilization water supply pipe (L7) and the secondary water supply pipe (L2) to discharge a mixture of the first sterilization water or the second sterilization water generated in the electrolytic cell (40) and the raw water.
[0053] The power supply unit (60) supplies power to the control unit (50) and, under the control of the control unit (50), supplies power to the multiple electrode plates of the electrolytic cell (40), the brine circulation pump (P1), the brine supply pump (P2), and the electronic valves (V1, V2, V3, V4). The power supply unit (60) can be implemented as a Switched Mode Power Supply (SMPS). To increase the electrolysis efficiency in the electrolytic cell (40), the power supply unit (60) supplies constant current power to the multiple electrode plates of the electrolytic cell (40).
[0054] FIG. 2 is an operation diagram of the low-sterilization mode of the heterogeneous sterilization water generating device illustrated in FIG. 1. In FIG. 2, the flow of raw water and sterilization water is indicated by thick gray lines. When the first button switch (11) is pressed by a user, a mode selection signal indicating the low-sterilization mode is turned on is output from the switch unit (10). While the mode selection signal output from the switch unit (10) indicates the low-sterilization mode is turned on, electronic valve A (V1) and electronic valve B (V2) are opened by the control of the control unit (50). As electronic valve A (V1) is opened, the raw water supplied through the raw water supply pipe (L1) is stored in the first water tank (21) of the water supply distributor (20). Subsequently, some of the raw water stored in the first tank (21) is supplied to the electrolytic cell (40) through the first water supply pipe (L3), and at the same time, some of the raw water stored in the first tank (21) is supplied to the second tank (22) through the first tank connecting pipe (23) as the electronic valve B (V2) is opened.
[0055] Next, the electrolytic cell (40) generates a first sterilizing water containing hypochlorous acid by electrolyzing raw water supplied through the first water supply pipe (L3). Next, the first sterilizing water generated in the electrolytic cell (40) arrives at one end of the sterilizing water outlet pipe (L8) through the sterilizing water supply pipe (L7), and the raw water stored in the second water tank (22) arrives at one end of the sterilizing water outlet pipe (L8) through the second water supply pipe (L2). The first sterilizing water arriving at one end of the sterilizing water outlet pipe (L8) is mixed with the raw water arriving at one end of the sterilizing water outlet pipe (L8) and discharged through the sterilizing water outlet pipe (L8). In this way, since the first sterilized water generated in the electrolytic cell (40) is diluted by the raw water stored in the second tank (22) and discharged, the chlorine concentration of the sterilized water discharged through the sterilized water outlet pipe (L8) can be controlled by the amount of raw water stored in the second tank (22). This control of the chlorine concentration can be achieved by designing the inner diameter of the first tank connecting pipe (23).
[0056] FIG. 3 is an operation diagram of the high sterilization mode of the heterogeneous sterilization water generating device illustrated in FIG. 1. In FIG. 3, the flow of raw water, brine, and sterilization water is indicated by thick gray lines. When the second button switch (12) is pressed by a user, a mode selection signal indicating the high sterilization mode is turned on is output from the switch unit (10). While the mode selection signal output from the switch unit (10) indicates the high sterilization mode is turned on, electronic valve A (V1), electronic valve C (V3), and electronic valve D (V4) are opened by the control of the control unit (50), and the brine supply pump (P2) and brine circulation pump (P1) are operated. As electronic valve A (V1) is opened, the raw water supplied through the raw water supply pipe (L1) is stored in the first water tank (21) of the water supply distributor (20). Subsequently, some of the raw water stored in the first tank (21) is supplied to the electrolytic tank (40) through the first water supply pipe (L3), and at the same time, some of the raw water stored in the first tank (21) is supplied to the second tank (22) through the second tank connecting pipe (24) as the electronic valve C (V3)) is opened, and some of the raw water stored in the first tank (21) is supplied to the brine generating tank (30) through the second water supply pipe (L4) as the electronic valve D (V4) is opened.
[0057] As the brine supply pump (P2) is operated, brine is supplied to the electrolytic cell (40) through the brine supply pipe (L6), and at the same time, as the brine circulation pump (P1) is operated, brine circulation within the brine generation tank (30) is achieved. Subsequently, the electrolytic cell (40) generates a second sterilizing water containing sodium hypochlorite by electrolyzing the mixture of raw water supplied through the first water supply pipe (L3) and brine supplied through the brine supply pipe (L6). Subsequently, the second sterilizing water generated in the electrolytic cell (40) arrives at one end of the sterilizing water outlet pipe (L8) through the sterilizing water supply pipe (L7), and the raw water stored in the second tank (22) arrives at one end of the sterilizing water outlet pipe (L8) through the second water supply pipe (L2). The second sterilized water arriving at one end of the sterilized water outlet pipe (L8) is mixed with the raw water arriving at one end of the sterilized water outlet pipe (L8) and discharged through the sterilized water outlet pipe (L8). In this way, since the second sterilized water generated in the electrolytic cell (40) is diluted by the raw water stored in the second tank (22) and discharged, the chlorine concentration of the sterilized water discharged through the sterilized water outlet pipe (L8) can be controlled by the amount of raw water stored in the second tank (22). This control of chlorine concentration can be achieved by designing the inner diameter of the second tank connecting pipe (24).
[0058] FIG. 4 is an example of a kitchen sink with a heterogeneous sterilization water generating device as illustrated in FIG. 1. A sterilization water outlet pipe (L8) is positioned on one side of the washing tank (200) of the sink, and sterilization water discharged from the sterilization water outlet pipe (L8) is discharged into the washing tank (200). As described above, the sterilization water discharged into the washing tank (200) is used for washing food ingredients, tableware, etc. as a dilution water for the first sterilization water or the second sterilization water generated in the electrolytic cell (40). A switch unit (10) is positioned on the front of the sink so that the user can conveniently select a low sterilization mode or a high sterilization mode by pressing the first button switch (11) or the second button switch (12).
[0059] According to the present embodiment as described above, a first sterilizing water containing hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is produced by electrolyzing raw water supplied through a raw water supply pipe (L1) according to a mode selection signal indicating whether the low sterilization mode and the high sterilization mode are on or off, or a second sterilizing water containing sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) is produced by electrolyzing a mixture of raw water and brine, thereby allowing a first sterilizing water with a low chlorine concentration that is not salted or a second sterilizing water with a high chlorine concentration to be produced according to the user's selection. Accordingly, the user can use the second sterilizing water with a high concentration of strong sterilizing power for washing food or cooking utensils, etc., which are at high risk of bacterial contamination, and the first sterilizing water with a low concentration that is safe even for the user to drink is used for washing the user's hands, table, dishcloth, cutlery, cup, etc., where the use of the high concentration sterilizing water is limited.
[0060] After sterilizing objects with high-concentration disinfectant water, a re-washing process using raw water or primary disinfectant water is required because the residual chlorine level must be low at the stage where humans come into direct contact or consume the object; however, this re-washing is frequently not observed.
