Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a slim digital door lock for a sliding door equipped with a locking bar for a T-bolt and a gear drive unit, and
[0002] More specifically, lock release is achieved through a T-bolt that protrudes and spreads to engage with the upper and lower locking grooves of a striker provided in the chassis acting as the door frame when the sliding door is in the closed state, and
[0003] In particular, it is applied to sliding doors having frames made of SUS, aluminum, or other alloy materials attached to the edges to reinforce the door tempered glass while enhancing the sense of openness, and to be suitable for narrow frames or chassis of various widths, the long side of the motor having a universal rectangular housing is vertically positioned and arranged in the housing, as well as
[0004] It is configured with a gear drive unit so that the motor's power is transmitted to the T-bolt through gears, thereby increasing operational reliability and completely eliminating noise generation,
[0005] Furthermore, the invention relates to a slim digital door lock for a sliding door in which first and second locking bars, which are linked to a gear drive unit when the T-bolt is locked and protrudes, are mutually engaged to prevent the T-bolt from being unintentionally released and retracted. Background Technology
[0006] Utility Model Registration No. 20-0499325 (July 1, 2025) [Deadbolt for door lock with a double anti-rotation structure using a pair of rotating hooks] is a technology that enables the locking of a sliding door through a T-bolt,
[0007] This registered invention provides a deadbolt for a door lock in which two rotating hooks protruding in the upward and downward directions from the deadbolt (i.e., T-bolt) are firmly fixed through a double anti-rotation structure, and the two rotating hooks can be operated stably with a simple structure without additional parts such as springs or guide components.
[0008] Two rotating hooks protruding upward and downward from the deadbolt are firmly fixed through a double anti-rotation structure, and by stably operating the two rotating hooks with a simple structure without additional parts such as springs or guide components, the fixing strength of the deadbolt is improved, a tight closing state is possible through anti-slip, and there are advantages such as reduced failures and improved cost reduction through a simple structure.
[0009] However, since this registered design has a structure in which the first and second rotating hooks overlap, the thickness of the deadbolt (i.e., T-bolt) must be increased to a certain extent to ensure strength, which results in an increase in the overall thickness of the door lock, and
[0010] In addition, a lever contact surface is formed on a block connected to a box-shaped main body containing first and second rotary hooks, and since the pivot lever of a relay gear receiving power from the motor pushes the linear motion lever contact surface back and forth to operate the first and second rotary hooks, play inevitably exists, and there is a problem of resulting wear on parts and noise.
[0011] Furthermore, this technology also has the task of improving safety by introducing an intrusion prevention function that prevents unauthorized external opening of the deadbolt while locked, without the need for a separate mechanism. The problem to be solved
[0012] Accordingly, the present invention aims to provide a digital door lock for a sliding door in which locking and unlocking are achieved through a T-bolt that protrudes and opens to engage with the upper and lower locking grooves of a striker provided in a chassis that acts as a door frame when the sliding door is closed.
[0013] The present invention aims to provide a slim digital door lock for a sliding door that can increase operational reliability and prevent noise generation at the source by applying it to a sliding door having a frame made of SUS, aluminum, or other alloy materials combined at the edge to reinforce the tempered glass for the door while increasing the sense of openness, and arranging the long side of a motor having a general-purpose rectangular housing vertically in the housing to be suitable for various narrow-width frames or chassis, and configuring it as a gear drive unit so that the motor's power is transmitted to a T-bolt through a gear.
[0014] Furthermore, the present invention aims to provide a slim digital door lock for a sliding door in which first and second locking bars, which are linked to a gear drive unit when the T-bolt is locked and protruded, are mutually connected to prevent the T-bolt from being unintentionally released and retracted. means of solving the problem
[0015] To achieve the above objectives, the digital door lock for a sliding door according to the present invention
[0016] A digital door lock having a vertically elongated housing and performing locking and unlocking by driving a T-bolt that protrudes from the side of the housing,
[0017] A motor having a rectangular case that incorporates a reduction gear, and arranged in the housing such that the long side of the case is positioned vertically;
[0018] A relay gear having a first meshing portion and a second meshing portion that interlock with the gear of the above motor; and
[0019] A T-bolt block comprising: a lower first T-bolt having a reverse swoosh first rail, a third engaging part, and a first rocker; an upper second T-bolt having a swoosh second rail, a fourth engaging part, and a second rocker; a retractable case having a rack gear that is interlocked with the second engaging part of the relay gear and has left and right straight third and fourth rails that overlap with the first and second rails respectively, and a rack gear that encloses the first and second T-bolts and overlaps with the second engaging part of the relay gear; and first and second guide pins inserted into the first and second guide rails and the first and second straight rails and fixed to the housing, such that the third and fourth engaging parts engage due to the operation of the rack gear advancing according to the operation of the relay gear, causing the first and second rockers of the first and second T-bolts to spread apart and catch on the locking groove of the striker.
[0020] Includes
[0021] Also, in the digital door lock for a sliding door according to the present invention
[0022] Centered on the above T-bolt block, the motor and gear drive unit are provided in the upper or lower part of the housing, and the power supply unit in which the battery is built is provided in the lower or upper part.
[0023] The above motor is arranged at the corner of the housing, and
[0024] A first locking bar is coupled to the above relay gear, and a second locking bar is provided on the above first T-bolt, so that
[0025] When the first T-bolt is locked and protrudes, the first and second locking bars are engaged with each other to prevent the first T-bolt from being unintentionally released and retracted.
[0026] It is preferable that the second meshing part and the rack gear are separated in the locking protruding state of the first T-bolt. Effects of the invention
[0027] The digital door lock for a sliding door according to the present invention is applied to a sliding door having a frame made of SUS, aluminum, or other alloy materials coupled to the edge to reinforce the door's tempered glass while enhancing the sense of openness. It is suitable for various narrow-width frames or chassis, and the long side of the motor having a universal rectangular housing is vertically arranged in the housing. Furthermore, by configuring the motor's power to be transmitted to the T-bolt through the gear, operational reliability can be increased and noise generation can be completely eliminated. Additionally, when the T-bolt is locked and protrudes, the first and second locking bars linked to the gear driving unit are mutually engaged to prevent the T-bolt from being unintentionally released and retracted. Consequently, it can be universally and widely applied to various narrow-width metal frames of sliding doors, and contributes to maintaining or strengthening the safety function against unauthorized intrusion. Ultimately, it provides a door lock that is drastically improved, in which locking is achieved through a T-bolt that protrudes and spreads to engage with the upper and lower locking grooves of a striker provided in the chassis. [0036] In describing the slim digital door lock (A) for a sliding door equipped with a locking bar for a T-bolt and a gear drive unit according to the present invention, for convenience, if a rough, non-strict directional standard is specified by referring to the drawings of the present invention regarding the door lock,
[0037] Rear exploded perspective view of the rear cover (HR), etc. of FIG. 2 in a separated state,
[0038] As shown in the rear operation sequence diagram of the T-bolt block constituting the core of the digital door lock in FIGS. 3 and 4,
[0039] Unlike the drawings and naming of FIGS. 2 to 4, which are mainly rear views, the top and bottom, left and right, and front and back are divided as they are shown, and regarding FIG. 1 (front exploded perspective view), unless otherwise specifically mentioned, the direction is specified and described in accordance with this standard in the detailed description of the invention and the claims.
[0040] The slim digital door lock (A) for a sliding door described above is suitable for various sliding doors, including digital door locks in the conventional door lock classification, particularly sliding doors having an outer metal frame made of SUS, aluminum, or other alloy materials (however, it can be applied to various doors such as windows or other metal entrance doors as needed).
[0041] Locking and unlocking are achieved through T-bolts (T1, T2) that protrude and spread apart to engage with the upper and lower locking grooves (Sℓ) of a striker (S) provided in the chassis acting as a door frame in the closed state of the sliding door (refer to the cross-sectional view within the dotted line block on the lower right of FIG. 1).
[0042] It is installed on the interior side and can be classified as an auxiliary door lock that operates independently of the handle, unlike the so-called main door lock.
[0043] A slim digital door lock (A) for a sliding door equipped with a locking bar for a T-bolt and a gear drive unit according to the present invention has a motor (M), a gear drive unit (G), a T-bolt (B), and a power supply unit (HB) provided within a vertically elongated slim housing (H).
[0044] Based on the rear assembly perspective view (the left side is a front assembly perspective view) shown in the one-dot dashed line block in the upper right of FIG. 1, the front upper part of the housing (H) is provided with a power supply unit (HB) in which a battery (b) is housed, and a bolt (bb) is provided on the upper part to be used to separate and reassemble the cover (Hc) of the power supply unit for replacing the battery.
[0045] In addition, a known manual opening / closing dial (Hd) and an opening / closing button (Hb) are provided on the lower front of the housing.
[0046] If the illustrated left-facing T-bolts (T1, T2) are configured as right-facing T-bolts, the power supply (HB) and the manual opening / closing dial (Hd) / opening / closing button (Hb) may be modified into an up-and-down reversed arrangement structure as needed.
[0047] To express this comprehensively, it can be said that 'the motor and gear drive unit are provided in the upper or lower part of the housing with the above T-bolt as the center, and the power supply unit in which the battery is built is provided in the lower or upper part.'
[0048] The rear cover (HR) on the back of the housing (H) has various horizontal and vertical slots (h) formed therein to easily position and insert the screw used to mount the door lock (A) to the narrow metal frame of the digital door lock.
[0049] FIG. 1 (for convenience, the protruding case (Tc) and guide case (Tg) from the T-bolt block (T) are not disassembled) and
[0050] As shown in FIG. 2 (PCB (P) and rear cover (HR) are omitted for convenience),
[0051] If the PCB (P) behind the rear cover (HR) is briefly disassembled for ease of understanding, the gear drive unit (G1, G2, G3) and motor (M) can be seen, and
[0052] When the guide case (Tg) and the protrusion case (Tc), which serve as a protective cover and guide to guide the stable straight protrusion and retraction and downward and upward spreading movements of the T-bolts (T1, T2) among the T-bolt blocks (T), are disassembled, the T-bolts (T1, T2) can be seen.
[0053] In addition, the above slim housing (H) has a protrusion hole (Hh) formed on the central left side through which the T-bolt (T1, T2) protrudes, and unlike the upper and lower parts, this protrusion hole part forms a seating protrusion (Hp) that protrudes to the left to a certain degree, thereby ensuring a stable locking protrusion stroke of the T-bolt (T1, T2) to the striker, while also ensuring the slim housing (H) for the slim door lock (A), which is one of the core elements of the present invention.
[0054] As such, the slim digital door lock (A) for a sliding door according to the present invention has a vertically elongated housing, particularly a slim housing (H), and is a digital door lock that performs locking and unlocking, that is, locking and unlocking, by driving a T-bolt (T1, T2) that protrudes from the side of the housing.
[0055] In addition, the motor (M) embedded in the housing (H) is a reduction motor integrated with a reduction gear and has a rectangular case (Mc), and is configured such that the long side (Mℓ) of the case (Mc) is positioned vertically in the housing to contribute to a slim structure.
[0056] This motor (M) is a DC 4~5V reduction motor with a built-in reduction gear, as is typical for most digital door lock motors, and is a general-purpose off-the-shelf product with no significant differences between manufacturers.
[0057] As can be seen in the illustration where the motor (M) is separated from the motor gear (G1) of FIG. 2,
[0058] In particular, the motor (M) is arranged so that its long side (Mℓ) is vertically positioned at the corner (lower right corner in the drawing) of the housing (H), and the fixing bolt, which is fastened to the mounting hole (Mh) of each of the two upper and lower connecting brackets of the case (Mc), is fixed by being coupled to a raised nut formed on the bottom surface opposite the rear cover (HR) of the housing (H).
[0059] One of the key elements of the present invention is a gear drive unit embedded in a slim housing (H) that moves T-bolts (T1, T2), which increases operational reliability and completely eliminates noise generation.
[0060] It is composed of a relay gear (G2) having a first meshing part (t1) and a second meshing part (t2) that are coupled with a gear (G1) of a motor (M) arranged at the lower right corner, and a rack gear (G3) coupled with the second meshing part (t2).
[0061] The size and number of teeth of the motor gear (G1) and the first meshing part (t1) are greater than the size and number of teeth of the second meshing part (t2) and the rack gear (G3), so that reduction is achieved once in the reduction motor (M) and once more in each meshing tooth (G1, t1) (t2, G3), thereby improving torque even when using a motor of the same specifications and ensuring stable operation characteristics of the T-bolt (T1, T2).
[0062] Subsequently, the above T-bolts (T1, T2) allow the rack gear (G3) to stably move the emerging case (Tc), which is provided on the lower right side, along the guide case (Tg).
[0063] Specifically, as can be seen in the exploded view of FIG. 2 and the operation flowcharts of FIG. 3 and 4,
[0064] The T-bolt block (T) consists of T-bolts (T1, T2), an emerging case (Tc), a guide case (Tg), and guide pins (P1, P2).
[0065] The above T-bolts (T1, T2) are embedded in the retractable case (Tc), and the retractable case is embedded in the guide case (Tg), and these three components (T1, T2)(Tc)(Tg) are fixed together to the housing (H) by guide pins (P1, P2).
[0066] Also, as shown in the additional exploded illustration within the dotted ellipse at the bottom right of FIG. 2, the appearance case (Tc)
[0067] It consists of a case (c1) and a gear assembly (c2) coupled to the case (c1) and equipped with a second locking bar (L2) having a rack gear (G3) and a coupling groove (Lg).
[0068] When the relay gear (G2) rotates due to the interlocking of the gear (G1) of the motor (M) and the first meshing part (t1),
[0069] As shown in FIG. 4 [E], the rack gear (G3) that was separated from the second meshing portion (t2) of the relay gear (G2)
[0070] As shown in the state of Fig. 4 [D], the second meshing part (t2) and the rack gear (G3) begin to mesh.
[0071] The first and second guide pins (P1, P2) that are coupled to the guide pin snug circular pinhole (not given a drawing symbol for convenience) of the guide case (Tg) are
[0072] A protruding case (Tc), that is, a case (c1), has left and right straight elongated third and fourth rails (R3, R4) (guide pins are also fitted into the corresponding upper and lower straight rails of the gear assembly (c2) (also not given drawing symbols for convenience)), and
[0073] The reverse swoosh (curved or curved) and swoosh (curved or curved) of the lower upper first and second T-bolts (T1, T2) are also fitted into the first and second rails (R1, R2).
[0074] Thus, the first T-bolt (T1) is equipped with a reverse swoosh first rail (R1), an upper third meshing part (t3), and a tip first rocker (ℓ1), and
[0075] The second T-bolt (T2) has a lower fourth meshing part (t4) that meshes with the swoosh second rail (R2) and the third meshing part (t3), and a tip second rocker (ℓ2).
[0076] Also, the appearance case (Tc) is
[0077] It incorporates first and second T-bolts (T1, T2), and
[0078] Left and right straight third and fourth rails (R3,R4) overlapping with each of the first and second rails,
[0079] That is, when each T-bolt (T1, T2) moves in and out, the left and right straight third and fourth rails (R3, R4) overlap with the first and second rails (R1, R2) respectively, centered on the first and second guide pins (P1, P2), and
[0080] A rack gear (G3) is provided that is coupled to the second meshing part (t2) of the above relay gear (the rack gear (G3) is provided at the bottom of the gear assembly (c2) coupled to the case (c1).
[0081] In the continuous operation of Fig. 4 [E]⇒[D], the first and second guide pins (P1, P2) are located in the left section of the first and second swoosh rails (R1, R2), and
[0082] Move from the left end of the 3rd and 4th rails (R3,R4) to the middle.
[0083] In Fig. 4 [E], when the rack gear moves forward (moves to the left) according to the engagement operation of the second meshing part (t2) and the rack gear (G3) in the state of [D], the T-bolt (T1, T2) and the protruding case (Tc) of the T-bolt block (T) protrude into the protruding hole (Hh) of the slim housing (H).
[0084] As shown in Fig. 3 [C], when the rack gear (G3) advances further
[0085] The first and second guide pins (P1, P2) pass through the intermediate direction-changing bend of the first and second Swoosh rails (R1, R2) and begin to enter the right section,
[0086] Move to a position offset to the right of the 3rd and 4th rails (R3,R4), and
[0087] The T-bolts (T1, T2) and the protruding case (Tc) protrude further out of the protruding hole (Hh), and
[0088] As the first and second rockers (ℓ1,ℓ2) at the respective tip portions of the first and second T-bolts (T1, T2) begin to be exposed to the lower upper cut portion (not given a drawing symbol for convenience) of the protruding case (Tc), the first and second T-bolts (T1, T2) begin to spread apart.
[0089] The first and second T-bolts (T1, T2) can perfectly implement synchronized movement without malfunction through the engagement of the third and fourth meshing parts (t3, t4) provided above and below, respectively, during the entire movement of the appearance and retraction as illustrated in FIG. 4[E] ⇔ FIG. 4[D] ⇔ FIG. 3[C] ⇔ FIG. 3[B] ⇔ FIG. 3[A], thereby ensuring operational reliability and preventing jamming malfunctions of components such as T-bolts.
[0090] Then, as shown in FIG. 3 [B], when the rack gear (G3) advances further
[0091] The rack gear (G3) begins to separate from the second meshing part (t2) and
[0092] The first and second guide pins (P1, P2) are located at the beginning of a short straight rail section (r1, r2) that is connected past the end of the right section of the first and second swoosh rails (R1, R2), and
[0093] The stroke remaining for the first and second guide pins (P1, P2) to move to the right of the third and fourth rails (R3, R4), located at the near right end of the third and fourth rails (R3, R4), is equal to the length of the section of the straight rail (r1, r2).
[0094] The first and second rockers (ℓ1,ℓ2) at the respective ends of the first and second T-bolts (T1,T2) are completely removed from the lower upper cut portion of the protruding case (Tc) and are positioned in the lower upper catch groove (Sℓ) of the striker (S).
[0095] Finally, as shown in FIG. 3 [A], the rack gear (G3) is completely separated from the second meshing portion (t2), and
[0096] As the first locking bar (L1) rotates to the left due to the additional rotation of the relay gear (G2),
[0097] The corner (LC) of the first locking bar (L1) is tightly coupled to the corresponding triangular coupling groove (Lg) of the second locking bar (L2) of the protruding case (Tc) (i.e., gear assembly (c2)), and
[0098] The first and second guide pins (P1, P2) are positioned at the right ends of the straight rail (r1, r2) and the third and fourth rails (R3, R4) to complete the locking.
[0099] Unlocking is a movement from [A] to [B] in FIG. 3 in which the edge (Lc) of the first locking bar (L1) is separated from the coupling groove (Lg) of the second locking bar (L2), and
[0100] As the separated rack gear (G3) and the second meshing part (t2) begin to mesh,
[0101] The first and second lockers (ℓ1,ℓ2) begin to be stored in the lower upper cut section of the retractable case (Tc) and are carried out in the reverse order of the locking operation, entering the retractable opening (Hh) in the state of FIG. 4 [E] and being completely stored in the housing (H).
[0102] Next, as shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, a first locking bar (L1) is coupled to the relay gear (G2), and a second locking bar (L2) is provided in the T-bolt block (T), particularly the protruding case (Tc) (i.e., gear assembly (c2)), so that
[0103] When the above T-bolts (T1, T2) are locked and protruded, the first and second locking bars (L1, L2) are connected to each other to prevent the T-bolts from being unintentionally released and retracted.
[0104] Since this unauthorized opening intrusion prevention function is integrated into the relay gear and T-bolt block without a separate mechanism, it can be universally and widely applied to various narrow metal frames or chassis of various sliding doors, including glass doors, and contributes to maintaining a slim profile or strengthening the safety function against unauthorized intrusion.
[0105] In particular, the corner (Lc) of the first locking bar (L1), which moves in a coaxial arc motion with the relay gear (G2) in the fully protruded state of the T-bolts (T1, T2), is coupled to the corresponding triangular coupling groove (Lg) of the second locking bar (L2), which is located on the outer side, i.e., to the left side, of the rack gear (G3) in the T-bolt (T1, T2) assembly.
[0106] Just as various support timbers for preventing collapse or tipping are arranged diagonally to provide a stable support structure
[0107] When attempting to move the T-bolt (T1, T2) horizontally, that is, to the right, in the event of an unauthorized intrusion, the first and second locking bars in the form of diagonal supports provide sufficient and stable bracing functions, thereby contributing to the prevention of unauthorized opening.
[0108] Also, in the state where the locking protrusion of the above T-bolts (T1, T2) is completed, the second meshing part (t2) and the rack gear (G3) are completely separated.
[0109] If the second meshing part (t2) and the rack gear (G3) are engaged, and the T-bolt (T1, T2) recedes to a certain degree, damage to each meshing part (t2, t3) (t1, G1) or a load is applied to the motor (M) itself, or a failure occurs, it is possible to completely prevent such situations.
[0110] When the opening operation of the T-bolts (T1, T2) is performed by operating the above manual opening / closing dial (Hd) or the opening / closing button (Hb), the first meshing part (t1) of the motor gear (G1) and the relay gear (G2) moves in conjunction with each other.
[0111] Separated from the second locking bar (L2) by turning the first locking bar (L1) to the right.
[0112] The second meshing part (t2) of the relay gear (G2), which was completely separated, rotates to the right and engages with the meshing part of the rack gear (G3), thereby causing the T-bolts (T1, T2) to be retracted and opened.
[0113] Stopping the motor (M) by detecting the completion of opening and closing of the above T-bolts (T1, T2) can be achieved through a tact switch, a pressure sensor, a light sensor, and control of the motor's rotation angle.
[0114] In the above description, ordinary known technologies related to sliding doors equipped with slim frames or slim chassis, or other digital door locks, etc., have been omitted, but a person skilled in the art can easily guess, infer, and reproduce them.
[0115] Furthermore, although the present invention has been described above with reference to the attached drawings and focused on a slim digital door lock for a sliding door having a specific shape and structure, the present invention is capable of various modifications, changes, and substitutions by those skilled in the art, and such modifications, changes, and substitutions should be interpreted as falling within the scope of protection of the present invention.
