Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a safety device for an elevated work platform and a control method thereof. More specifically, the invention relates to a safety device for an elevated work platform and a control method thereof that detects whether a worker is seated on a chair installed on the inner side of the railing of the elevated work platform using a pressure sensor, sets a reference position for the worker's head and a safety distance based on the worker's height information, calculates the separation distance between the reference position for the worker's head and an upper obstacle based on distance information generated by a distance sensing sensor, and then limits a command to raise the platform by comparing the calculated separation distance and the safety distance. The invention further relates to a safety device for an elevated work platform and a control method thereof that can determine the risk of collision with an upper obstacle regardless of the installation form of the distance sensing sensor by allowing the distance sensing sensor to be installed on at least one of the railing, the chair, the controller, or the wearable device worn by the worker, and by calculating the separation distance between the reference position for the worker's head and the upper obstacle by reflecting the installation position, measurement reference point, or measurement direction of the distance sensing sensor. Background Technology

[0003] An aerial work platform is equipment that allows a worker to ascend to a position higher than the ground while seated on the platform to perform various installation, maintenance, inspection, cleaning, or construction tasks.

[0004] While these elevated work platforms have the advantage of allowing the worker's work position to be moved upward, the fact that workers often perform operations while standing on the platform can lead to postural instability, shifting of the center of gravity during operation, and the risk of collision with railings or surrounding structures.

[0005] Generally, an aerial work platform is equipped with a platform on which a worker sits, a handrail installed on the edge of the platform, a controller for operating the raising or lowering of the platform, and a lifting drive unit. In addition, to enhance the safety of the aerial work platform, an emergency stop switch, an overload detection device, a warning device, a tilt detection device, or an operation limiting device may be applied.

[0006] However, conventional safety devices for elevated work platforms focus mainly on the tilt of the equipment, overload, emergency stop, or whether operation signals are blocked, making it difficult to directly reflect whether the worker is maintaining a stable posture within the platform.

[0007] In particular, when a worker operates the controller while standing on the platform, the worker's body may come close to a railing, surrounding structure, or upper obstacle due to sudden lifting movements, shaking of the worker's posture, or movement within the platform.

[0008] Furthermore, conventional aerial work platforms often fail to adequately account for differences in worker height. Even if the platform is raised to the same height, the degree to which the head, helmet, or upper body approaches overhead obstacles can vary depending on the worker's height.

[0009] Nevertheless, in conventional technology, a configuration has not been sufficiently proposed to set a reference position for the worker's head based on the worker's height information, set an allowable safety distance between the worker's reference position and an upper obstacle, and then limit the platform's lifting operation command by comparing the separation distance calculated based on distance information generated by a distance sensing sensor with the said safety distance.

[0010] Furthermore, when a distance sensing sensor is fixedly installed at a specific location, a discrepancy may occur between the sensor's measurement reference point and the worker's actual head reference position. For example, if the distance sensing sensor is installed on a railing, it is necessary to calculate the distance between the worker's head reference position and an upper obstacle by considering the railing's installation height, the sensor's measurement reference point, and the measurement direction. Conversely, if the distance sensing sensor is installed on a worker's wearable device, such as a safety helmet, distance information to the upper obstacle can be generated at a location closer to the worker's head reference position.

[0011] Therefore, a configuration is required that can calculate the separation distance between the worker's head reference position and an upper obstacle by reflecting the distance information generated by the distance sensing sensor, the installation position of the distance sensing sensor, the measurement reference point, or the measurement direction, without limiting the installation location of the distance sensing sensor to the railing.

[0012] Furthermore, even if a chair is installed on the platform of an aerial work platform for a worker to sit on, simply installing the chair makes it difficult to accurately determine whether the worker is actually seated when performing lifting operations. Moreover, if the worker's seating status is not reflected as a condition for allowing lifting, there remains a possibility that the worker will operate the aerial work platform while standing or in an unstable posture, even if the chair is present.

[0013] Therefore, there is a growing need for a safety device for an aerial work platform and a control method thereof that determines whether a worker is seated on a chair based on the detection value of a pressure sensor, sets a head reference position and safety distance based on the worker's height information, calculates the separation distance between the worker's head reference position and an upper obstacle based on distance information generated by a distance detection sensor, and allows a lowering operation command while nullifying the platform's raising operation command when the calculated separation distance is within the safety distance. Effects of the invention

[0039] According to the present invention, since the lifting or raising operation command of the platform can be controlled by comprehensively reflecting whether a worker on the platform of the aerial work platform is seated, the worker's height information, the worker's head reference position, the distance from an upper obstacle, and the safety distance, the following effects are achieved.

[0040] (1) The lifting and lowering operation of the platform is allowed or blocked based on the result of comparing the detection value of the pressure sensor placed on the chair with a preset threshold, and the interlock control unit controls the lifting and lowering operation of the platform by detecting the load caused by the worker sitting on the chair, thereby allowing the lifting and lowering operation of the platform to be performed while the worker is sitting on the chair, and preventing or reducing the situation where the worker operates the aerial work platform while standing or in an unstable position.

[0041] (2) By setting a reference position for the worker's head based on the worker's height information and setting a safe distance between the worker's reference position and an upper obstacle based on the reference position and a preset clearance distance, safety control can be performed that more substantially reflects the worker's height difference, whether a safety helmet is worn, or the risk of upper body collision. Additionally, since the distance between the worker's reference position and an upper obstacle can be calculated based on at least one of the distance information generated by the distance sensor, the installation location of the distance sensor, the measurement reference point, or the measurement direction, the distance sensor can be installed on a railing, chair, controller, or a wearable device such as a safety helmet, safety vest, safety harness, or headband worn by the worker, the actual proximity to the upper obstacle and the risk of collision can be determined more accurately.

[0042] (3) When the calculated distance is within the safety distance, the command to raise the platform is invalidated and the command to lower the platform is allowed. This allows the operator to restrict the upward movement in the direction of getting closer to the upper obstacle, while enabling the downward movement in the direction of getting away from the upper obstacle. Additionally, since the controller is placed adjacent to the chair and can deliver a warning to the operator through the warning unit or the controller's interface under the control of the interlock control unit when necessary, the operator can be encouraged to operate the controller while seated, and can recognize situations such as failure to meet the seated condition, a decrease in the pressure sensor detection value, or proximity to the upper obstacle, thereby improving work safety.

[0043] (4) In an embodiment in which a pressure sensor unit including multiple pressure sensing areas is applied, the seat load of the worker, the load distribution within the seat area, or the center of load position can be calculated based on the sensing information generated in the multiple pressure sensing areas. Therefore, not only can the worker be seated, but also the stable seated position or the change in posture can be determined. Furthermore, by updating the head reference position, safety distance, or risk judgment regarding upper obstacles according to the temporal change in the center of load position or the temporal change in the load distribution within the seat area, the risk of collision with upper obstacles can be determined more flexibly even when the worker changes posture while seated. [0052] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 6, a safety device (100) for a high-altitude work platform based on seating detection and upper obstacle distance detection according to one embodiment of the present invention allows a worker to perform lifting operations while on board the platform (10), while allowing or blocking the lifting operation of the platform (10) based on the detection value of the pressure sensor (31), setting the worker's head reference position and safety distance based on the worker's height information, calculating the distance between the worker's head reference position and the upper obstacle based on the distance information generated by the distance detection sensor (80), and then restricting the lifting operation command of the platform (10) by comparing the calculated distance and the safety distance, thereby effectively suppressing the worker's posture instability and the risk of collision with the upper obstacle.

[0053] To this end, a safety device for an elevated work platform based on seating detection and upper obstacle distance detection according to one embodiment of the present invention may include a platform (10), a railing (20), a chair (30), a pressure sensor (31), a controller (40), an interlock control unit (50), and a distance detection sensor (80).

[0054] Specifically, the platform (10) can form a floor surface on which a worker can board and perform work.

[0055] Additionally, the platform (10) can be raised or lowered by the lifting drive unit (60) of the aerial work platform and provides a workspace where the worker's feet are supported.

[0056] Meanwhile, a railing (20) may be installed on the edge of the platform (10).

[0057] Here, the handrail (20) is positioned along the edge of the platform (10) to prevent the worker from falling and can provide a support structure on which the chair (30) and controller (40) can be installed.

[0058] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 3, the chair (30) can be installed on the inner side of the railing (20).

[0059] Here, the inner side of the railing (20) may refer to the direction facing the workspace of the platform (10) on which the worker is seated, and the chair (30) may be folded and stored on the backplate side when not in use, thereby reducing the occupation of the workspace within the platform (10).

[0060] Specifically, the chair (30) may include a pressure sensor (31), a back plate (32), a seat plate (33), a foldable support (34), a first connecting part (35a), a second connecting part (35b), and a reinforcing frame (36).

[0061] Here, the pressure sensor (31) is placed on the chair (30) to detect the load resulting from the worker's seating.

[0062] For example, a pressure sensor (31) may be placed inside the seating plate (33) and may generate a detection value corresponding to at least one of pressure, load, or deformation that occurs as a worker sits on the seating plate (33), and transmit this to the interlock control unit (50).

[0063] At this time, the pressure sensor (31) can be implemented as any one of a load cell, a force sensing resistor (FSR), a piezoelectric sensor, a capacitive pressure sensor, or an equivalent load sensing means.

[0064] Meanwhile, the back plate (32) can be fixed to the inner side of the handrail (20) and can function as a reference member to which the seating plate (33) is rotatably connected, and can also perform the function of a backrest that supports the back while the worker is seated.

[0065] At this time, it should be noted that the backplate (32) may be fixed to the railing (20) by bolt fastening, clamp fastening, bracket joining, welding, or an equivalent fixing method, but is not limited to a specific fixing method.

[0066] The seating plate (33) is a plate-shaped member on which a worker sits and can be rotatably connected to the back plate (32).

[0067] Here, the seating plate (33) can be switched between a folded state and an unfolded state centered on the first connecting part (35a).

[0068] Specifically, when the seating plate (33) is in a folded state, the seating plate (33) is positioned adjacent to the back plate (32) to reduce the space occupied within the platform (10), and when the seating plate (33) is in an unfolded state, it can be positioned approximately horizontally or at a sitting angle relative to the bottom surface of the platform (10) so that a worker can sit on it.

[0069] For example, the first connecting part (35a) may be composed of a main pivot connecting part that pivotably connects the seating plate (33) to the back plate (32), and may be implemented as a hinge, a pivot axis, a pin connecting part, a bracket connecting part or an equivalent pivot connecting means, and may support the seating plate (33) to pivot between a folded state and an unfolded state with respect to the back plate (32).

[0070] The second connecting part (35b) can rotatably connect the foldable support (34) to the side of the seat plate (33), reinforcing frame (36), or back plate (32), and can be implemented as a hinge, a pivot axis, a pin connecting part, a bracket connecting part, or an equivalent rotating connecting means, and the foldable support (34) can be folded or unfolded in conjunction with the transition operation between the folded state and the unfolded state of the seat plate (33).

[0071] The foldable support (34) is configured to support the unfolded state of the seating plate (33) and can be connected to the lower or lateral lower part of the seating plate (33).

[0072] Here, the foldable support (34) can be unfolded together to support the seating plate (33) when the seating plate (33) is rotated forward relative to the back plate (32), and can be folded and stored toward the lower part of the seating plate (33) or the back plate (32) when the seating plate (33) is converted to a folded state.

[0073] Meanwhile, the chair (30) may further include a reinforcing frame (36) that is connected to the lower part of the seat plate (33).

[0074] The reinforcing frame (36) is positioned along the lower surface or front lower region of the seating plate (33) to reinforce the seating plate (33), distribute the seating load of the worker, and provide a connection part to which a foldable support (34) or a second connection part (35b) is connected.

[0075] Additionally, the reinforcing frame (36) may be a reinforcing structure that is fixed to the lower part of the seating plate (33) and rotates together with the seating plate (33).

[0076] Accordingly, it can suppress sagging, shaking, or equivalent instability factors of the seating plate (33) in the unfolded state of the seating plate (33) and perform an auxiliary role to enable the pressure sensor (31) to stably detect the load.

[0077] As a result, when a worker sits on the seating plate (33) while the seating plate (33) is unfolded and a load is applied, the foldable support (34) and the reinforcing frame (36) support or distribute the load applied to the seating plate (33), thereby stably maintaining the unfolded state of the seating plate (33).

[0078] The controller (40) can be installed on the railing (20) and can be configured to receive height information and lifting operation commands from the worker.

[0079] Specifically, the controller (40) may include a button, a joystick, a switch, a touch panel, a dial, a display, or an input interface, and the operator may input their height information through the controller (40) and input operation commands for raising or lowering the platform.

[0080] Meanwhile, the controller (40) can be positioned adjacent to the chair (30) so that the worker can operate the controller (40) even while sitting on the chair (30) when the chair (30) is unfolded.

[0081] Additionally, the controller (40) may include a switch for selecting a driving mode and a lifting mode, and the interlock control unit (50) may be configured to be activated only when the lifting mode is selected.

[0082] The distance sensing sensor (80) can generate distance information to calculate the distance between the worker's head reference position and the upper obstacle.

[0083] Referring to FIG. 2 as an embodiment of the present invention, the distance sensing sensor (80) may be positioned at the upper center of the safety helmet (81) worn by the worker, that is, at a position corresponding to the top of the worker's head.

[0084] Accordingly, the distance sensing sensor (80) can generate distance information for an upper obstacle at a position close to the worker's head reference position or the top reference position of the safety helmet, and transmit the generated distance information to the interlock control unit (50).

[0085] Here, the distance information may include a distance value from a measurement reference point of the distance detection sensor (80) to an upper obstacle, a distance value detected along the measurement direction of the distance detection sensor (80), whether an upper obstacle exists, a detection value for calculating the location of an upper obstacle, or equivalently, information that can be used to calculate the distance between the worker's head reference position and the upper obstacle.

[0086] Additionally, the distance sensing sensor (80) of the present invention is not limited to being placed on a safety helmet (81), but may be installed on at least one of a handrail (20), a chair (30), a controller (40), or a piece of equipment worn by a worker.

[0087] Specifically, the worker's wearable equipment may include at least one of a safety helmet (81), a safety vest, a safety harness, or a headband.

[0088] Meanwhile, upper obstacles may include ceilings, beams, pipes, structures, equipment, signs, work objects, or upward structures that may collide with a worker's head, safety helmet, or upper body.

[0089] The distance sensing sensor (80) can be implemented as at least one of an ultrasonic sensor, an infrared sensor, a lidar sensor, an optical distance sensor, or a similar distance measuring means.

[0090] Referring to FIG. 4, the interlock control unit (50) can be electrically or communicationally connected to the pressure sensor (31), controller (40), and distance sensing sensor (80).

[0091] For example, when a distance sensing sensor (80) is placed in a safety helmet (81), the distance sensing sensor (80) can be communicated with an interlock control unit (50) through at least one of Bluetooth, BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy), Wi-Fi, UWB (Ultra-Wideband), RF (Radio Frequency communication) communication, or short-range wireless communication methods.

[0092] The interlock control unit (50) can control the lifting drive unit (60) and the warning unit (70) based on signals or information input from the pressure sensor (31), the controller (40), and the distance sensing sensor (80).

[0093] Specifically, the interlock control unit (50) can check the pairing status of the distance sensing sensor (80), the communication reception status, and whether sensor identification information or distance information is received, and if normal distance information is not received from the distance sensing sensor (80), it can restrict the lifting operation command of the platform (10) or output a warning through the warning unit (70).

[0094] Specifically, the interlock control unit (50) may be implemented as a separate control module, or as a control circuit or control software included inside the controller (40).

[0095] More specifically, the interlock control unit (50) can allow or block the lifting operation of the high-altitude work platform based on the result of comparing the detection value of the pressure sensor (31) with a preset threshold.

[0096] Preferably, the threshold value may be a reference value for determining whether the worker is seated.

[0097] At this time, the threshold can be pre-set during the manufacturing stage and can be set to be changeable according to the work environment, chair structure, type of pressure sensor, worker's weight range, or safety standards.

[0098] As a result, the interlock control unit (50) can control the lifting operation so that it is possible only when the operator is seated stably by determining whether the detection value of the pressure sensor (31) is above a threshold value.

[0099] For example, if the detection value of the pressure sensor (31) is 30 kg or more, the interlock control unit (50) determines that the worker is seated on the chair (30) and can allow the platform to be lifted.

[0100] Conversely, if the detection value of the pressure sensor (31) is less than 30 kg, the interlock control unit (50) can determine that the worker is not seated on the chair (30) or that the seated state is unstable and block the lifting operation of the platform.

[0101] In addition, the interlock control unit (50) can set the reference position of the worker's head based on the worker's height information input through the controller (40).

[0102] The head reference position can be set to at least one of the following: the crown of the worker, the center of the top of the head, the center of the top of the safety helmet when wearing a safety helmet (81), or a position for determining the risk of upper body collision.

[0103] Referring to FIG. 2, when the distance sensing sensor (80) is positioned at the top center of the safety helmet (81), the head reference position can be set based on the top center of the safety helmet (81) or the top of the worker's head corresponding to the position of the distance sensing sensor (80).

[0104] Meanwhile, the interlock control unit (50) can set an allowable safety distance between the worker's head reference position and the upper obstacle based on the head reference position and a preset clearance distance.

[0105] Here, the safety distance may be the minimum allowable distance that must be maintained between the reference position of the worker's head, the reference position of the top of the safety helmet, or the reference position for determining the risk of upper body collision and an upper obstacle.

[0106] For example, the preset clearance distance may be set to 3 cm or more, but is not limited thereto, and may vary depending on the work environment, whether a safety helmet is worn, the installation location of the distance sensing sensor (80), or safety standards.

[0107] Additionally, the interlock control unit (50) can calculate the distance between the worker's head reference position and the upper obstacle based on at least one of the distance information generated by the distance sensing sensor (80), the installation location of the distance sensing sensor (80), the measurement reference point of the distance sensing sensor (80), or the measurement direction of the distance sensing sensor (80).

[0108] In this case, the distance sensing sensor (80) generates distance information for an upper obstacle at a location close to the top of the worker's head or the top of the safety helmet reference position, so it can more directly reflect the actual proximity to the upper obstacle.

[0109] In another example, when the distance sensing sensor (80) is installed on a railing (20), a chair (30), or a controller (40), the interlock control unit (50) can calculate the distance by reflecting the installation height, installation angle, measurement reference point or measurement direction of the distance sensing sensor (80) and the relative position between the worker's head reference position.

[0110] In addition, the interlock control unit (50) can determine whether the calculated separation distance is within the safety distance.

[0111] Specifically, if the calculated separation distance is within the safety distance, the interlock control unit (50) can nullify the upward operation command of the platform (10) and allow the downward operation command of the platform (10). Accordingly, the operator cannot perform an upward movement that may collide with an upper obstacle, but can perform a downward movement in a direction that separates from the upper obstacle.

[0112] Conversely, if the calculated separation distance exceeds the safety distance, the interlock control unit (50) may allow the platform (10) to move up or down according to the lifting operation command input through the controller (40).

[0113] Here, the nullification of the lifting operation command or the restriction of the lifting operation may be performed by including at least one of blocking the lifting drive, reducing the lifting speed, stopping the lifting, cutting off the power supply to the lifting drive unit (60), cutting off the control signal, or outputting a warning.

[0114] Meanwhile, the interlock control unit (50) can calculate the additional possible height distance by subtracting the safety distance from the calculated separation distance.

[0115] The warning unit (70) can generate a first warning when the additional possible height decreases below a preset reference value under the control of the interlock control unit (50), and at this time, the interlock control unit (50) can reduce the height of the platform (10).

[0116] Additionally, when the calculated separation distance enters within the safety distance, the interlock control unit (50) can perform step-by-step safety control to nullify the lifting operation command of the platform (10) or forcibly stop the lifting operation.

[0117] The lifting drive unit (60) can perform the raising or lowering of the platform (10) according to the control of the interlock control unit (50).

[0118] Specifically, the lifting drive unit (60) may be implemented as a hydraulic drive unit, an electric drive unit, a lift drive unit, a motor drive unit, or an equivalent lifting device, and the interlock control unit (50) may allow or block the operation of the lifting drive unit (60) based on the detection value of the pressure sensor (31), distance information generated by the distance detection sensor (80), and the input value of the controller (40).

[0119] The warning unit (70) can deliver a warning to the operator under the control of the interlock control unit (50).

[0120] The warning unit (70) can deliver a warning to the operator when the detection value of the pressure sensor (31) is below a threshold, when the calculated separation distance is within the safety distance, when a communication abnormality between the distance detection sensor (80) and the interlock control unit (50) is detected, or when the lifting operation of the platform (10) is blocked or restricted.

[0121] Specifically, the warning unit (70) can be implemented as a buzzer, speaker, warning light, display unit, vibration device, interface of controller (40), or an equivalent warning output means, and can deliver a warning to the worker when the detection value of the pressure sensor (31) is below a threshold, when the distance to an upper obstacle is within a safe distance, or when the lifting operation is blocked or restricted.

[0122] Here, the warning unit (70) can be linked with the controller (40) and can output a warning message through the screen or display unit of the controller (40).

[0123] Meanwhile, a safety device for an elevated work platform based on seating detection and upper obstacle distance detection according to another embodiment of the present invention may further include a deployment detection unit that detects whether the chair (30) is deployed.

[0124] Specifically, the deployment detection unit may be positioned at the connection point between the railing (20) and the chair (30) or on one side of the chair (30).

[0125] Here, the deployment detection unit may be implemented as a limit switch, a contact sensor, a proximity sensor, an angle sensor, or an equivalent detection means, and in this case, the interlock control unit (50) may be configured to further consider the detection result of the deployment detection unit when allowing or blocking the lifting operation of the platform (10) based on the result of comparing the detection value of the pressure sensor (31) with a preset threshold.

[0126] For example, when the deployment detection unit detects the deployment state of the chair (30) and the detection value of the pressure sensor (31) is greater than or equal to a preset threshold, the interlock control unit (50) can allow the platform (10) to move up and down.

[0127] Conversely, if the deployment detection unit fails to detect the deployment state of the chair (30) or if the detection value of the pressure sensor (31) is less than a preset threshold, the interlock control unit (50) can block the lifting operation of the platform (10).

[0128] Hereinafter, a control method for a safety device for an elevated work platform based on seating detection and upper obstacle distance detection according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 5 and 6.

[0129] Referring to FIG. 5, a control method for a safety device for a high-altitude work platform based on seating detection and upper obstacle distance detection according to the present invention may include: (a) receiving height information of a worker and a lifting operation command through the controller; (b) setting a head reference position of a worker based on the height information of the worker, and setting an allowable safety distance between the head reference position and an upper obstacle based on the head reference position and a preset clearance distance; (c) allowing or blocking the lifting operation of the platform based on the detection value of the pressure sensor; and (d) calculating a separation distance between the head reference position and the upper obstacle based on at least one of the distance information generated by the distance detection sensor, the installation position of the distance detection sensor, the measurement reference point of the distance detection sensor, or the measurement direction of the distance detection sensor, and if the calculated separation distance is within the safety distance, nullifying the lifting operation command of the platform and allowing the lowering operation command of the platform.

[0130] Specifically, in step (c), if the detection value of the pressure sensor is greater than or equal to a preset threshold, the lifting operation of the aerial work platform may be allowed, and if the detection value of the pressure sensor is less than the preset threshold, the lifting operation of the aerial work platform may be blocked.

[0131] Meanwhile, the control method of the safety device for an elevated work platform based on seating detection and upper obstacle distance detection according to the present invention may further include the step of calculating the seating load of a worker and the load distribution within a preset seating area of the chair based on detection information generated in a plurality of pressure detection areas of the pressure sensor unit.

[0132] Preferably, the method may further include a step of determining whether the worker is sitting stably based on the seating load and the load distribution.

[0133] In addition, if it is determined that the worker is seated stably, the method may further include a step of calculating the worker's head reference position based on the worker's height information and the seat reference position of the chair.

[0134] Additionally, based on the head reference position and the installation position of the distance sensing sensor, the method may further include a step of converting the distance value from the measurement reference point of the distance sensing sensor to the upper obstacle into the separation distance between the worker's head reference position and the upper obstacle.

[0135] Additionally, if the separation distance calculated based on the distance information generated by the distance sensing sensor (80) is within the safety distance, the method may further include the step of nullifying the upward operation command of the aerial work platform and allowing the downward operation command.

[0136] Referring to FIG. 6, the height information of the worker and the lifting operation command can first be input through the controller (40).

[0137] At this time, the worker's height information can be entered directly by the worker, or it may be provided from a storage unit where the worker information is stored or from an external device.

[0138] Here, the interlock control unit (50) can set a safety distance based on the input height information of the worker.

[0139] Additionally, in an embodiment equipped with an unfold detection unit, the interlock control unit (50) can determine whether the chair (30) is in an unfolded state. If the chair (30) is not in an unfolded state, the interlock control unit (50) can block the lifting operation of the platform (10) and output a warning through the warning unit (70). On the other hand, if the chair (30) is in an unfolded state, the interlock control unit (50) can read the detection value of the pressure sensor (31).

[0140] Next, the interlock control unit (50) reads the detection value of the pressure sensor (31), and if the detection value of the pressure sensor (31) is less than a preset threshold, it can block the lifting operation of the aerial work platform and output a warning through the warning unit (70).

[0141] On the other hand, if the detection value of the pressure sensor (31) is greater than or equal to a preset threshold, the interlock control unit (50) can determine that the worker is seated on the chair (30).

[0142] When it is determined that a worker is seated on a chair, the interlock control unit (50) can receive distance information generated by a distance sensing sensor (80) placed at the upper center of the safety helmet (81).

[0143] At this time, the interlock control unit (50) can calculate the distance between the worker's head reference position and the upper obstacle based on the distance information generated by the distance sensing sensor (80) and the measurement reference point or measurement direction of the distance sensing sensor (80).

[0144] If the calculated separation distance is within the safety distance, the interlock control unit (50) can nullify the upward operation command of the platform (10) or block the upward operation, allow the downward operation command of the platform (10), and output a warning through the warning unit (70).

[0145] Conversely, if the calculated separation distance exceeds the safety distance, the interlock control unit (50) may allow the platform (10) to move up or down according to the lifting operation command input through the controller (40).

[0146] Even after the lifting operation is permitted, the interlock control unit (50) can continuously monitor the detection value of the pressure sensor (31) and the distance information generated by the distance detection sensor (80).

[0147] When the detection value of the pressure sensor (31) decreases below a threshold during monitoring, the interlock control unit (50) can block or stop the lifting operation of the platform (10) and output a warning through the warning unit (70).

[0148] Additionally, if the separation distance calculated during monitoring enters within the safety distance, the interlock control unit (50) may nullify the upward operation command of the platform (10), stop or restrict the upward operation of the platform (10), and output a warning through the warning unit (70). In this case, the interlock control unit (50) may allow the downward operation command of the platform (10).

[0149] In another embodiment of the present invention, when a user inputs an additional lifting operation command through the controller (40) after the calculated separation distance has entered within the safety distance, the interlock control unit (50) may allow the lifting operation of the platform (10) by limiting it to a preset deceleration speed and may output a warning through the warning unit (70).

[0150] Meanwhile, although not illustrated in FIG. 6, the interlock control unit (50) can continuously monitor distance information generated by the distance detection sensor (80) even during deceleration and ascent, and can forcibly stop the ascent operation of the platform (10) when the calculated separation distance enters within a preset stopping distance, and can allow a command to lower the platform (10). At this time, it should be noted that the stopping distance may be set to a value smaller than the safety distance.

[0151] Subsequently, when a user inputs an additional lifting operation command through the controller (40), the interlock control unit (50) may allow the lifting operation of the platform (10) to be limited to a preset deceleration speed within a range where the calculated separation distance does not enter within a preset stopping distance.

[0152] At this time, the stopping distance can be set to a value smaller than the safety distance, and the interlock control unit (50) forcibly stops the upward movement of the platform (10) when the calculated separation distance enters within the stopping distance, and allows the downward operation command of the platform (10).

[0153] Meanwhile, as another embodiment according to the present invention, the pressure sensor (31) is not limited to being implemented as a single sensing element, but can be implemented as a pressure sensor unit including a plurality of pressure sensing regions.

[0154] For convenience of explanation, the pressure sensor (31) including a plurality of pressure sensing areas will be referred to as the pressure sensor section below.

[0155] The pressure sensor unit may include a plurality of pressure sensing areas arranged to correspond to different positions within the seating area of the chair (30).

[0156] Here, the seating area may refer to the area where a load is applied by the buttocks or thighs of the worker when the worker sits on the chair (30).

[0157] For example, it can be set in at least one of the upper surface area of the seating plate (33), the inner area of the seating plate (33), or the inner area of the cushion part attached to the seating plate (33).

[0158] Multiple pressure-sensing areas may be arranged to correspond to multiple areas that partition the seating area in the front-back direction, left-right direction, or grid direction.

[0159] For example, a plurality of pressure sensing areas may be arranged to correspond to a front area, a central area, and a rear area that divide the seating area in the front-rear direction, as another example, they may be arranged to correspond to an area that divides the seating area into a left area and a right area, and as yet another example, they may be arranged to correspond to a plurality of areas that divide the seating area into a 3×3 grid shape.

[0160] Each pressure sensing area can generate sensing information corresponding to the pressure, load, or deformation acting on that area.

[0161] In this case, the interlock control unit (50) can calculate the sitting load of the worker by summing or combining the sensing information generated in a plurality of pressure sensing areas, and can calculate the load distribution within the sitting area based on the size, ratio, or distribution of the sensing information in each pressure sensing area.

[0162] For example, the interlock control unit (50) can calculate the seating load by summing the detection values of each pressure sensing area.

[0163] Additionally, the interlock control unit (50) can calculate the load distribution within the worker's seating area based on the difference in detection values between the left area and the right area, the difference in detection values between the front area and the rear area, the difference in detection values between the central area and the surrounding area, or a combination thereof.

[0164] In addition, the interlock control unit (50) can calculate the load center position based on the placement location of each of the plurality of pressure sensing areas and the sensing information generated in each pressure sensing area.

[0165] For example, when a reference coordinate system is set in the seating area, the interlock control unit (50) can calculate the center of load position by applying the detection value of the corresponding pressure sensing area as a weight to the coordinate value of each pressure sensing area.

[0166] The above reference coordinate system may be a coordinate system with the center of the seating plate (33) as the origin, a coordinate system with the center of the rear end of the seating plate (33) as the reference point, a coordinate system with the connection point between the back plate (32) and the seating plate (33) as the reference point, or a coordinate system with the center of the arrangement of the pressure sensing area as the reference point.

[0167] However, the method of setting the reference coordinate system is not limited to this, and any coordinate system capable of calculating the worker's seating position or the center of load position within the seating area may be used.

[0168] The seat reference position of the chair (30) may be a reference point for calculating the reference position of the worker's head while the worker is seated.

[0169] Specifically, the seating reference position may be determined based on the center position of the seating area, the arrangement position of a plurality of pressure sensing areas, the load center position calculated from the sensing information of the pressure sensor unit, or a combination thereof.

[0170] For example, the seating reference position can be fixed to the center position of the seating plate (33).

[0171] As another example, the seating reference position can be determined as the center position of an array of multiple pressure-sensing areas.

[0172] As another example, the seating reference position can be updated to the load center position calculated based on the detection information of the pressure sensor unit.

[0173] As another example, the seating reference position can be determined as a correction position calculated by combining the center position of the seating plate (33) and the center of load position.

[0174] The interlock control unit (50) can determine whether the worker is sitting stably based on the seating load and the load distribution.

[0175] For example, the interlock control unit (50) can determine that the worker is seated stably if the seating load is greater than or equal to a preset seating load threshold and the center of the load is located within a preset seating area.

[0176] Additionally, the interlock control unit (50) determines a pressure sensing area among a plurality of pressure sensing areas where the detection value is greater than or equal to a preset threshold as an effective pressure sensing area, and can determine whether the worker is seated stably based on the number of effective pressure sensing areas, the placement location of the effective pressure sensing areas, the deviation of the detection value for each effective pressure sensing area, or a combination thereof.

[0177] For example, if the effective pressure sensing area is concentrated only on one side of the seating area and the deviation of the sensing value in the left-right or front-back direction exceeds a preset range, the interlock control unit (50) can determine that the worker is seated unstably.

[0178] When it is determined that the worker is seated stably, the interlock control unit (50) can calculate the worker's head reference position based on the worker's height information and the seat reference position of the chair (30).

[0179] At this time, the height information of the worker can be directly input through the controller (40), and can also be called from a storage unit, worker identification information, worker terminal, or external device.

[0180] Specifically, the interlock control unit (50) can calculate a head position correction value corresponding to the worker's height information by referring to stored corresponding information so that the worker's height information and the head position correction value correspond to each other.

[0181] Here, the head position correction value may include the height distance from the seated reference position to the worker's head reference position while the worker is seated on the chair (30), a coordinate correction value, or a correction value based on the seated posture.

[0182] For example, the corresponding information may include head position correction values for each height interval.

[0183] That is, if the worker's height falls within the first height range, the first head position correction value may be applied, and if the worker's height falls within the second height range, the second head position correction value may be applied.

[0184] As another example, the correspondence information may include a correspondence formula between the worker's height information and the head reference position in a seated state.

[0185] The interlock control unit (50) can calculate the position that is spaced upward from the seat reference position of the chair (30) by a head position correction value as the worker's head reference position.

[0186] At this time, the head reference position may be at least one of the following: the top of the worker's head, the top of the head reference position, the top of the safety helmet reference position when wearing a safety helmet (81), or a reference position for determining the risk of upper body collision.

[0187] In addition, the interlock control unit (50) can set a safety distance based on the head reference position and a preset clearance distance.

[0188] Here, the safety distance may be the minimum allowable distance that must be maintained between the reference position of the worker's head, the reference position of the top of the safety helmet, or the reference position for determining the risk of upper body collision and an upper obstacle.

[0189] In addition, the interlock control unit (50) may calculate the distance between the worker's head reference position and the upper obstacle based on at least one of the distance information generated by the distance sensing sensor (80), the installation location of the distance sensing sensor (80), the measurement reference point, or the measurement direction.

[0190] When the distance sensing sensor (80) is positioned at the upper center of the safety helmet (81), the interlock control unit (50) can correct the distance by reflecting the measurement reference point, measurement direction, and relative position with respect to the upper reference position of the safety helmet of the distance sensing sensor (80).

[0191] Accordingly, the distance information generated by the distance sensing sensor (80) can be converted into a separation distance between the worker's head reference position and an upper obstacle, and the calculated separation distance and safety distance can be compared on the same comparison standard.

[0192] If the calculated separation distance is within the safety distance, the interlock control unit (50) can nullify the raising operation command of the platform (10) and allow the lowering operation command of the platform (10).

[0193] In addition, the interlock control unit (50) can continuously monitor the detection information of the pressure sensor unit even after the lifting operation is permitted.

[0194] At this time, the interlock control unit (50) can detect a change in the worker's posture according to a temporal change in the center of load position or a temporal change in the load distribution within the seating area.

[0195] For example, if the load center position deviates from the preset range, the load distribution is biased to one side, or the number or placement position of the effective pressure sensing area does not satisfy the stable seating condition, the interlock control unit (50) may determine that the worker's posture has changed.

[0196] In this case, the interlock control unit (50) can update the seating reference position according to the posture change, recalculate the head reference position or safety distance using the updated seating reference position, or update the separation distance or risk judgment regarding upper obstacles calculated based on the distance information generated by the distance detection sensor (80).

[0197] Additionally, the interlock control unit (50) can update the risk judgment regarding the upper obstacle according to the temporal change of the load center position or the temporal change of the load distribution within the seating area, and can notify the worker of the change in seating posture, the lifting restriction state, or the lowering operation possible state through the warning unit (70) according to the result of updating the risk judgment.
