Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a drain trap, a gasket for a glazing bead, and a window including the same. More specifically, the invention relates to a drain trap, a gasket for a glazing bead, and a window including the same, which can drain water flowing down the surface of the glass of a window to the outside while preventing outside air from entering the interior through the drain trap. Background Technology
[0002] Generally, buildings such as apartments are equipped with windows to separate the exterior from the interior.
[0003] However, when the temperature on the indoor side of the window falls below the dew point of humid air, condensation occurs in which water vapor in the air condenses into liquid on the window.
[0004] Here, the dew point refers to the temperature at which, as the air temperature decreases, the pressure of the water in the air reaches the saturated water vapor pressure.
[0005] In environments with a large indoor / outdoor temperature difference or high humidity, surface condensation frequently occurs on windows, leading to the problem of mold growth on the windows and glass due to the resulting condensation.
[0006] Meanwhile, referring to FIG. 1, in the case of a conventional window, a gasket (30) is used to fix the glass (11) to the window sash (10) located on the exterior side. When fixing the glass (11) to the window sash (10) located on the interior side, a glazing bead (20) is additionally used. The glazing bead (20) is a general term for a member that is inserted into or fixed to the window sash (10) to prevent the glass (11) inserted into the window sash (10) from falling out.
[0007] After attaching these glazing beads (20) to the window sash (10), a gasket (40) for the glazing beads and silicone or sealant are applied to adhere them to the glass.
[0008] Conventionally, the gasket (40) for the glazing bead used to fix the glazing bead (20) is manufactured by co-extrusion. Accordingly, it is difficult to secure a path (or flow path) through which water condensed on the surface of the glass (11) can be discharged to the outside through the glazing bead (20), and thus there is a structural limitation in that water generated on the surface of the glass on the inside side cannot be discharged to the outside (outside side). Water generated on the surface of the glass on the inside side that cannot be discharged to the outside eventually flows into the inside side and causes contamination of the indoor space, or seeps into the interior space of the window sash (10) where the glass (11) is installed through the gap between the glass (11) and the glazing bead (20), and since the water that seeps into the interior space of the window sash (10) cannot be discharged to the outside, it causes rot inside the window sash (10) or causes mold to grow on the window frame (10).
[0009] Meanwhile, to solve these problems, a method has recently been used in which a drainage hole (not shown) is arbitrarily formed in a gasket (30) for a glazing bead to drain water generated on the surface of the glass on the indoor side to the outside. However, since the drainage hole arbitrarily formed in the gasket (30) for a glazing bead does not have a separate cover, it remains in an open state at all times. Cold outside air flows into the interior through the always-open drainage hole, which lowers the thermal insulation and airtightness of the window and causes further acceleration of condensation on the surface of the glass around the drainage hole. Prior art literature
[0010] Korean Registered Patent Publication No. 10-1433417 (Title: Gasket for condensation drainage of windows and doors and window system equipped with the same, published Nov. 17, 2011) The problem to be solved
[0011] The objective of the present invention is to provide a drainage trap capable of easily draining water condensed on the surface of the indoor glass of a window to the outside (outdoor side) through a drainage assembly, a gasket for a glazing bead, and a window including the same.
[0012] The objective of the present invention is to provide a drain trap capable of preventing outside air from entering the room through a drain assembly, a gasket for a glazing bead, and a window including the same.
[0013] The problems that the present invention aims to solve are not limited to those mentioned above, and other unmentioned problems will be clearly understood by those skilled in the art from the description below. means of solving the problem
[0014] To achieve the above objective, according to one aspect of the present invention, a drainage trap is provided that is mounted on a glazing bead for fixing glass to a window sash, supports the glass while mounted on the glazing bead, and has at least one drainage hole for transferring water flowing down the surface of the glass into the interior of the window sash.
[0015] In addition, to achieve the above objective, according to another aspect of the present invention, a gasket for a glazing bead is provided, which is mounted on a glazing bead for fixing glass to a window sash, supports the glass while mounted on the glazing bead, and has a water storage space for receiving water that flows down onto the surface of the glass.
[0016] To achieve the above objective, according to another aspect of the present invention, a window is provided comprising: a window sash having a glass mounted thereon and a glazing bead mounted thereon for fixing the glass; a gasket for the glazing bead having a first fresh water space for receiving water flowing down along the surface of the glass, which is arranged to support the space between the glass and the glazing bead while mounted on the glazing bead; and a drain trap having a second fresh water space for receiving water flowing down along the surface of the glass, which is coupled with the gasket for the glazing bead while mounted on the glazing bead, and which has at least one drain hole for delivering water received in the second fresh water space into the interior of the window sash, wherein the first fresh water space and the second fresh water space are in communication with each other, and water received in the first fresh water space is moved to the second fresh water space, and water moved to the second fresh water space is delivered to the interior of the window sash by passing through the drain hole. Effects of the invention
[0017] According to the drain trap, gasket for a glazing bead, and window frame including the same related to an embodiment of the present invention, since the drain trap is formed by an injection molding method, a drain hole can be easily formed to transfer water generated on the surface of the interior glass and flowing down from the surface of the glass into the interior of the window sash. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent the interior space or the surface of the interior glass from being contaminated by the flowing water.
[0018] In addition, according to the drain trap, the gasket for a glazing bead, and the window frame including the same related to the embodiment of the present invention, the drain trap, which is an injection-molded material, and the gasket for a glazing bead, which is an extruded material formed by an extrusion method, can be mounted on the window frame in a combined state. At this time, water flowing down along the surface of the indoor glass is received in the water storage space inside the gasket for the glazing bead and then moves to the water storage space inside the drain trap. The water moved to the drain trap then moves into the interior of the window sash along the drain hole, and the water moved into the interior of the window sash is discharged to the outside (outside) through the outlet formed in the window sash. Therefore, the water delivered to the interior of the window sash through the drain hole of the drain trap does not accumulate inside the window sash but can be smoothly drained to the outside.
[0019] In addition, according to the drain trap, gasket for a glazing bead, and window including the same related to the embodiment of the present invention, the drain hole formed in the drain trap remains closed by the drain hole cover when condensation does not occur, thereby effectively preventing air leakage. Furthermore, since the drain hole cover does not enter the inside of the drain hole, water flowing down along the surface of the glass can be reliably drained, and at the same time, the inflow of air leakage from the outside to the inside can be blocked even more reliably.
[0020] In addition, according to the drain trap, gasket for glazing bead, and window frame including the same related to the embodiment of the present invention, the drain hole is covered by the cover portion of the drain trap so that it is not exposed to the user, thus eliminating concerns about the deterioration of the aesthetics of the window frame.
[0021] The effects of the present invention are not limited to those mentioned above, and other unmentioned effects will be clearly understood by those skilled in the art from the description below. Brief explanation of the drawing

[0023] Hereinafter, a gasket (210) for a glazing bead, a drain trap (220), and a window (1000) including the same according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.
[0024] Additionally, identical or corresponding components are assigned the same or similar reference numbers regardless of drawing symbols, and redundant descriptions thereof are omitted; furthermore, for the convenience of explanation, the size and shape of each illustrated component may be exaggerated or reduced.
[0025] FIG. 2 is a drawing showing a window according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 3 is a drawing showing an enlarged portion of FIG. 2, and FIG. 4 is a side view of FIG. 2. FIG. 5 is a perspective view of a gasket for a glazing bead and a drain trap shown in FIG. 4. FIG. 6 is a perspective view of a drain trap shown in FIG. 5, FIG. 7 is a drawing for explaining the usage mode of the drain trap shown in FIG. 6, and FIG. 8 is a drawing for explaining the combined state of the gasket for a glazing bead and the drain trap shown in FIG. 5. FIG. 9 is a drawing for explaining the mounting state of the gasket for a glazing bead shown in FIG. 4, and FIG. 10 is a drawing for explaining the mounting state of the drain trap shown in FIG. 4.
[0026] In the coordinate system described in the drawing, the X-axis represents the direction in which the glazing bead gasket (210) and the drain trap (220) are mounted on the window sash (100), and the Y-axis represents the direction in which water generated on the surface of the glass (110) flows down to the glazing bead gasket (210) and the drain trap (220).
[0027] Here, the water generated on the glass (110) may be condensation water generated on the surface of the glass on the inside side due to the temperature difference between the inside and outside.
[0028] Referring to FIGS. 2 to 4, a window (1000) according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises a window sash (100) on which glass (110) is mounted and a glazing bead (120) for fixing the glass (110) is mounted, and a glazing bead gasket (210) which is provided to support the space between the glass (110) and the glazing bead (120) while mounted on the glazing bead (120), and has a first fresh water space (S1) for receiving water that flows down along the surface of the glass (110).
[0029] Additionally, the above-mentioned window (1000) supports the glass (110) while mounted on the glazing bead (120) and is coupled with the gasket (210) for the glazing bead, and includes a drain trap (220) having a second water space (S2) in which water flowing down along the surface of the glass (110) is received, and at least one drain hole (226) is provided to transfer the water received in the second water space (S2) into the interior of the window sash (100).
[0030] Here, the gasket (210) for the glazing bead and the drain trap (220) can be combined to form a drain assembly (200).
[0031] Meanwhile, a reinforcing material (130) may be provided inside the window sash (100). The reinforcing material (130) may be inserted along the length direction (X-axis direction) of the window sash (100).
[0032] In addition, glass (110) can be mounted on the above window sash (100).
[0033] A setting block (112) may be provided at the lower end of the glass (110). The setting block (112) may be a member for supporting the glass (110) with respect to the window sash (100). For example, the setting block (112) may be arranged at predetermined intervals along the longitudinal direction of the window sash (100). At this time, water delivered to the window sash (100) through the drainage assembly (200) may pass through the setting block (112) and be drained to the outside.
[0034] The glass (110) can be mounted inside the window sash (100) by at least one gasket (140).
[0035] The above gasket (140) can be installed between the window sash (100) and the glass (110) positioned to face the outside. At this time, the gasket (140) may be in the form of a gasket typically used when fixing the glass (110) to the window sash (100).
[0036] Meanwhile, at least one outlet (102, 104) may be formed in the window sash (100).
[0037] The above-mentioned outlets (102, 104) may be formed at a location adjacent to the outside side of the window sash (100). At this time, the outlets (102, 104) may be arranged so that the inside and the outside side of the window sash (100) are connected at a predetermined distance from each other.
[0038] Water flowing along the surface of the glass (110) is transferred into the interior of the window sash (100) through the drainage assembly (200), and the water transferred into the interior of the window sash (100) is discharged to the outside through the outlets (102, 104).
[0039] Meanwhile, a glazing bead (120) and a gasket (210) for the glazing bead constituting the drainage assembly (200) may be installed between the window sash (100) and the glass (110) positioned to face the interior side.
[0040] A glazing bead (120) is mounted on the upper part of a window sash (100) positioned to face the interior. At this time, the glazing bead (120) can be mounted along the length direction of the window sash (100).
[0041] A glazing bead gasket (210) may be installed between the glazing bead (120) and the glass (110).
[0042] The gasket (210) for the glazing bead can be mounted along the length direction of the window sash (100) in the same way as the glazing bead (120).
[0043] Here, the glazing bead (120) may be equipped with a drain trap (220) having at least one drain hole (226).
[0044] Water flowing down along the surface of the glass (110) passes through the drain hole (226) of the drain trap (220) and is then discharged to the outside through the discharge hole (102, 104) formed inside the window sash (100).
[0045] At this time, water can form a flow path (R) that moves along the glass (110), drain trap (220), and drain hole (226). Additionally, water flowing down along the glass (110) can be received inside the gasket (210) for the glazing bead located adjacent to the drain trap (220) before flowing down to the drain trap (220).
[0046] Meanwhile, the drain trap (220) may have the same shape as the gasket (210) for the glazing bead, except for the configuration of the drain hole (226) and cover part (228) to be described later.
[0047] With reference to FIGS. 5 to 10, a drainage assembly (200) according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail.
[0048] The above gasket (210) for the glazing bead may include a first mounting portion (211) mounted on the glazing bead (120), a first sealing portion (213) that seals between the glazing bead (120) and the glass (110), and a first support portion (215) formed in a direction perpendicular to one side of the first sealing portion (213) and positioned on the upper part of the glazing bead (120).
[0049] A hollow portion (111a) may be formed in the first mounting portion (211). Since the shape of the hollow portion (111a) changes due to an external force, the first mounting portion (211) can be easily mounted in the mounting groove (122) of the glazing bead (120).
[0050] At this time, the first sealing function part (213) and the first support part (215) can form a first fresh water space (S1) in which water flowing down from the surface of the glass (110) is received.
[0051] A first groove (214) may be formed at the corner of the first sealing function part (213).
[0052] The first groove (214) may be recessed inward with respect to one side of the corner of the first sealing function part (213). Even if an assembly tolerance occurs when the glazing bead gasket (210) is mounted on the glazing bead (120), the first support part (215) may be able to move toward the glass (110) by means of the first groove (214). Accordingly, the assembly of the glazing bead (120) and the glazing bead gasket (210) can be improved.
[0053] Additionally, a first leg (215a) may be formed at the end of the first support member (215).
[0054] The first leg (215a) is positioned at the upper end of the glazing bead (120) and allows the gasket (210) for the glazing bead to be stably positioned relative to the glazing bead (120).
[0055] Meanwhile, the drain trap (220) may include a second mounting part (221) mounted on the glazing bead (120), a second sealing function part (223) that seals between the glazing bead (120) and the glass (110), at least one drain hole (226) provided to penetrate a portion of the second sealing function part (223), and a second support part (225) formed in a direction perpendicular to one side of the second sealing function part (223) and positioned on the upper part of the glazing bead (120).
[0056] A second groove (224) may be formed at the corner of the second sealing function part (223).
[0057] The second groove (224) may be recessed inward from one side of the corner of the second sealing function part (223). Even if assembly tolerance occurs when the drain trap (220) is mounted on the glazing bead (120), the second support part (225) may be able to move toward the glass (110) by means of the second groove (224). Accordingly, the assembly of the glazing bead (120) and the drain trap (220) can be improved.
[0058] The second sealing function part (223) and the second support part (225) can form a second fresh water space (S2) in which water flowing down along the surface of the glass (110) is received.
[0059] At this time, the drain hole (226) is connected to the second fresh water space (S2), and the second fresh water space (S2) can be connected to the first fresh water space (S1).
[0060] Accordingly, water flowing down along the surface of the glass (110) is received in the first fresh water space (S1), and the water received in the first fresh water space (S1) flows into the second fresh water space (S2) and can be delivered into the interior of the window sash (100) through the drain hole (226). The water delivered into the interior of the window sash (100) is drained to the outside through the outlets (102, 104) of the window sash (100).
[0061] A second leg (225a) may be formed at the end of the second support member (225).
[0062] The second leg (225a) is positioned at the upper end of the glazing bead (120) and allows the gasket (210) for the glazing bead to be stably positioned relative to the glazing bead (120).
[0063] Meanwhile, a drain hole cover (226a) may be provided in the drain hole (226) of the drain trap (220).
[0064] The drain hole cover (226a) can open or close the drain hole (226) by the weight (self-weight) of the water flowing into the drain hole (226).
[0065] The drain hole cover (226a) can be axially coupled to the lower end of the second sealing function part (223) so as to be rotatable in both directions with respect to the second sealing function part (223).
[0066] The drain hole cover (226a) can be rotated from an initial position (closed) to an open position and opened according to the weight of the water flowing into the drain hole (226), or rotated to an open position and then returned to an initial position and closed.
[0067] For example, the drain hole cover (226a) is rotated to an open position when the weight of the water flowing into the drain hole (226) while in its initial position exceeds a predetermined weight. At this time, while in the open position, after the water flowing into the drain hole (226) has drained out, it returns to its initial position when the weight of the water flowing into the drain hole (226) is less than or equal to a predetermined weight. Here, the drain hole cover (226a) returns to its initial position even when all the water flowing into the drain hole (226) has drained out while in the open position. For reference, the reference position of the drain hole cover (226a) may be the initial position.
[0068] Meanwhile, the drain hole cover (226a) is not rotated from its initial position to an open position if the weight of the water flowing into the drain hole (226) is less than or equal to a predetermined weight.
[0069] Additionally, the drain hole cover (226a) closes the drain hole (226) when condensation does not occur on the glass (110). Here, even if the drain hole cover (226a) is rotated while in its initial position, it is impossible to enter the interior of the drain hole (226). Since the drain hole (226) is maintained in a closed state by the drain hole cover (226a) during normal times (when condensation does not occur), it is possible to block outside air from entering the interior through the drain hole (226), thereby improving the airtightness and thermal insulation of the window (1000).
[0070] Meanwhile, a partition wall (229) may be provided at the end of the second fresh water space (S2).
[0071] The above partition (229) can restrict water from overflowing into the window sash (100) or the interior side when water contained in the first fresh water space (S1) is moved to the second fresh water space (S2).
[0072] The second sealing function part (223) above may be provided to be in contact with the first sealing function part (213).
[0073] The above glazing bead gasket (210) and the above drain trap (220) can be combined with each other.
[0074] At this time, a first coupling part (217) may be provided on the side of the glazing bead gasket (210), and a second coupling part (227) corresponding to the first coupling part (217) may be provided on the side of the drain trap (220).
[0075] For example, the first coupling part (217) may be formed in the shape of a groove, and the second coupling part (227) may be provided in the shape of a projection that is inserted into the interior of the first coupling part (217) having the groove shape.
[0076] As described above, when the first coupling part (217) is formed in the shape of a groove, the first coupling part (217) may have a shape that is inwardly recessed on the side of the first sealing function part (213). At this time, the first coupling part (217) may include a plurality of parts, and the plurality of first coupling parts (217a, 217b) may be provided at a predetermined distance from each other, for example, two first coupling parts (217a, 217b) may be included. As described above, when the second coupling part (227) is formed in the shape of a protrusion, the second coupling part (227) may protrude a predetermined length from the side of the second sealing function part (223) toward the side of the glazing bead gasket (210), that is, toward the first sealing function part (213). At this time, the second coupling part (227) may include a plurality of them, and the plurality of second coupling parts (227a, 227b) may be provided at a predetermined distance from each other, for example, two second coupling parts (227a, 227b) may be included.
[0077] For reference, unlike the above, the first coupling part (217) may be provided in the form of a protruding projection, and the second coupling part (227) may be provided in the form of a groove into which the first coupling part (217) is inserted.
[0078] However, the gasket (210) for the glazing bead according to one embodiment of the present invention may be an extruded material formed by an extrusion method, and the drain trap (220) may be an injection-molded material formed by an injection method.
[0079] Generally, it is difficult to form holes or protruding projections in extruded materials. For example, even if a hole is formed, it is difficult to maintain its shape, so water drainage may not be easy. In addition, even if a projection is formed on one member and the other member is joined by inserting it into a groove formed to correspond to the projection, the two members joined by the projection-groove combination do not have sufficient rigidity.
[0080] For the reasons mentioned above, it is preferable to form a first connecting part (217) having a groove shape on the extruded gasket (210) for the glazing bead and to form a second connecting part (227) having a drain hole (226) and a protrusion shape on the injection-molded drain trap (220). Accordingly, the gasket (210) for the glazing bead and the drain trap (220) are stably connected to each other by the first connecting part (217) and the second connecting part (227), thereby forming a single drain assembly (200).
[0081] For reference, it is preferable that the number of the first coupling parts (217a, 217b) and the second coupling parts (227a, 227b) be equal, but is not necessarily limited thereto.
[0082] Meanwhile, the drain trap (220) may further include a cover portion (228).
[0083] The above cover portion (228) may be provided across the upper portion of the partition wall (229) and the second support portion (225).
[0084] The above cover portion (228) can cover the first support portion (215), the second support portion (225), and the second fresh water space (S2).
[0085] Additionally, the cover portion (228) can cover a portion of the glazing bead gasket (210) combined with the drain trap (220).
[0086] Furthermore, the cover portion (228) may cover at least a portion of the second support portion (225) of the drain trap (220) and the second fresh water space (S2), and the portion of the second support portion (225) and the first support portion (215) that are in contact by the combination of the gasket (210) for the glazing bead and the drain trap (220). Additionally, the cover portion (228) may cover a portion of the first support portion (215), the first sealing function portion (213), and the first fresh water space (S1).
[0087] In this way, since at least a portion of the second fresh water space (S2) of the drain trap (220) is covered by the cover portion (228), the drain hole (226) is hardly exposed to the indoor user, so there is no concern about the deterioration of the aesthetics of the window (1000) due to the installation of the drain trap (220) on the glazing bead (120).
[0089] The preferred embodiments of the present invention described above are disclosed for illustrative purposes only, and those skilled in the art with ordinary knowledge of the present invention will be able to make various modifications, changes, and additions within the spirit and scope of the present invention, and such modifications, changes, and additions should be considered to fall within the scope of the following claims.
