Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a new fuel handling device for a heavy water reactor. Background Technology

[0002] At heavy water reactor power plants, new fuel transfer is performed by manually moving fuel bundles. During this process, accidents involving the falling of fuel bundles due to human error occur intermittently. Although the procedure is being changed to use lifting tools to move the fuel bundles, fuel-dropping accidents continue to occur due to human error or careless handling of fuel handling equipment.
