Description

Draw 03 The item that is the subject of the design pencil case Description of the design 1. The present design relates to a pencil case for storing writing instruments, etc., and consists of a storage section extending in the longitudinal direction and a zipper opening / closing section at the top. 2. The main feature of this design is that the selvedge ears, which are the edges of the selvedge denim fabric, are intentionally exposed on the exterior of the pencil case body and utilized as structural lines and decorative elements. The exposed selvedge ears combine with the appearance of the front and back to visually reveal the unique weave characteristics of the denim fabric. 3. On the front and back, exposed selvedge ears and diagonal and X-shaped stitches are harmoniously arranged so that the edges of the fabric and the seams themselves function as formative elements that constitute the exterior of the pencil case. 4. A Do monogram-shaped decoration is placed on the front, and a loop-shaped handle for carrying and gripping is formed on the right side. 5. A zipper opening is formed in the longitudinal direction on the upper part, and a pair of strap-shaped handles are attached to the zipper slider. 6. On the bottom surface, X-shaped stitching and a total of four circular snap buttons, two on each side, are arranged. When the snap buttons are fastened together, the sides of the bottom surface fold inward, reducing the gap between the front and back surfaces, thereby decreasing the volume of the storage space and transforming the overall shape of the pencil case into a slimmer form. At this time, three-dimensional creases appear on the bottom and sides due to the folding. 7. Drawings A1 through A7 show the state where the snap button on the bottom surface is released, and Drawings B1 and B4 through B7 show the surface where the appearance changes while the bottom surface is folded with the snap button fastened. 8. Since the basic appearance of the front view and the rear view is substantially the same before and after the snap button is fastened, the front view and the rear view in the fastened state are not shown redundantly. [Key Points of Design Creation] This design is characterized by exposing the corners of the selvedge denim fabric to the outside to serve as decorative structural lines, combined with diagonal and X-shaped stitches. Additionally, the creative point lies in the ability to selectively fasten the four snap buttons on the bottom to fold the bottom, thereby changing the thickness and storage volume of the pencil case and creating different three-dimensional appearances within a single pencil case. [Reference Drawing] The following reference drawings are actual photographs to help understand the actual appearance of the pencil case shown in Drawings A and B, as well as the changes in shape before and after the snap button is fastened.
