Abstract
This utility model relates to in vitro laboratory diagnostics, specifically biosensors and telomeric biomarker analyzers, and can be used in clinical diagnostic laboratories, research institutions, public health centers, and in screening examinations to assess biological age (BA). The objective of the utility model is to improve the accuracy and robustness of biological age assessment by simultaneously measuring two independent telomere dynamics biomarkers and adaptively combining them based on quality metrics. The technical result consists of improving the accuracy and reproducibility of biological age determination by simultaneously measuring average telomere length (TL channel) and telomerase activity (TERT channel) and combining them. The technical result is achieved in that a portable two-channel biosensor for determining biological age comprises a housing, a replaceable sensor cell, a first measuring channel for determining the average length of telomeres, a second measuring channel for assessing telomerase activity, an optoelectronic fluorescence recording module, an electrochemical module for measuring the signal of the second channel, a microcontroller and a communication interface, wherein the microcontroller is configured to calculate a combined indicator of biological age by ensemble combining signals of the first and second measuring channels with adaptive weights depending on the signal quality indicators of each channel.
