Abstract
This utility model relates to environmental protection, specifically to devices for the biological purification and deodorization of airborne emissions from unpleasant odors and harmful gaseous pollutants. The technical result of this utility model is the creation of a submersible biofilter "Bio-F02" for the effective biological deodorization of airborne emissions from hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, and other pollutants. The biofilter is made of corrosion-resistant plastic and contains a multi-layer "Pro-Oil" filter media (15-25 layers) treated with the enzyme "BactiPro." The design ensures high environmental safety (no chemical impregnations requiring disposal), a purification efficiency of 80-95%, and a long service life of at least 3 years. Overall dimensions of the housing: outer diameter of the support ring - 570 - 700 mm, landing diameter - 570-630 mm, inner diameter of the filter block - 530-550 mm, height - 500-600 mm.The biofilter housing is designed for installation in a sewer manhole or ventilation duct. The media is a non-woven, three-dimensional fabric (white or other color), formed into a single corrugated structure of bonded hydrophobic polymer fibers. Fiber composition: polypropylene (PP) - 50% by weight, polyester (PE) - 20% by weight, bicomponent polyester fiber (BKV PE) - 30% by weight. The carbon filter material is designed to remove gaseous pollutants from the air: harmful gases, volatile organic compounds, and unpleasant odors - through adsorption on the developed porous surface of the activated carbon. The filter element is periodically treated (wetted) with an enzymatic agent based on live bacteria "BactiPro", designed to neutralize unpleasant odors. The composition of the agent, based on natural components, water and oxygen, absorbs and decomposes odor molecules.BactiPro is effective against a wide range of organic and chemical odors, has antibacterial and antifungal properties, and is safe for people, animals, and surfaces. The treatment schedule depends on the module size; application is by spraying or impregnation.
