Abstract
The utility model relates to the field of ore beneficiation, primarily to non-metallic ores. In this paper, the utility model relates to methods of processing technogenic mineral formations. The objective of the work is to process technogenic mineral formations to produce flotation barite concentrate. The studies were conducted on a TMO sample with a barium sulfate content of 42.0%. Preparation of the TMO sample for studies included the following: - screening, crushing of class -20+1 mm to a size of -2+0 mm; - grinding in a ball mill to a size of 95% of class -0.071 mm; - flotation studies with the development of operating parameters: degree of grinding, pH, reagent consumption.A process flow chart has been developed, including: - two main barite flotations; - control barite flotation; - four cleanings of the main barite concentrates to produce 1 barite concentrate and cleaning tailings; - final flotation of four cleaning tailings + control concentrate; - final flotation concentrate is subjected to two cleanings to produce 2 barite concentrate; - control flotation tailings are combined with final flotation tailings and are used as waste. The following was obtained: - 1 flotation barite concentrate with a content of 93.28% at a recovery of 22.94% and a yield of 10.33%; - 2 flotation barite concentrate with a content of 90.80% at a recovery of 27.28% and a yield of 12.62%; - total barite concentrate with a barite content of 91.92% at a recovery of 50.22% and a yield of 22.95%; Dehydration of enriched products is carried out in two stages: thickening and filtration.Prior to filtration, the total barite flotation concentrate is thickened using Flopam (SNF) UG-945 flocculant at a rate of 10 g / t. The barite flotation concentrate is dried and calcined at 2500°C to remove residual flotation reagents. The resulting barite concentrate complies with GOST 4682-84 and is classified as Class B barite concentrate.
