Abstract
This utility model relates to environmental monitoring and gas leak detection, specifically methane, from main gas pipelines. It is a mobile device that provides high accuracy, sensitivity, and the ability to operate in hard-to-reach locations. The objective of this utility model is to develop a device for remotely monitoring methane leaks using laser technology and an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The technical result is achieved through the use of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) carrying a measuring system on a rod, which includes a laser transmitter and a photoreceiver-sensor installed at opposite ends of the rod, as well as a signal processing unit located under the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). A system for monitoring methane leaks from a main gas pipeline, including an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and a hardware and software module for processing and transmitting data, characterized in that it is equipped with a rigid or telescopic rod up to 5 meters long, mounted on the UAV by means of a fastening system, at the opposite ends of which a laser transmitter with a radiation wavelength of 1.65 μm and a photoreceiver are located, forming a measuring system, The hardware and software complex includes a signal processing and software analysis unit, as well as a module for wireless data transmission to the ground station.
