Abstract

This utility model relates to feed, specifically feed additives, specifically mineral and vitamin supplements for pregnant ewes and lambs during the period of active growth, and a method for their preparation. The proposed technical solution is intended for supplementing the feed of pregnant ewes and lambs to meet their needs for a range of minerals, microelements, and vitamins necessary for bone formation and normal physiological growth. The objective of this utility model is to develop a feed supplement composition consisting of a mineral and vitamin complex for lambs and pregnant ewes. The technical result of this utility model is the development of a feed supplement composition consisting of a mineral and vitamin complex for lambs and pregnant ewes that compensates for mineral and vitamin deficiencies, promoting healthy and rapid growth, and delivering positive economic benefits to livestock farming. To achieve this technical result and in accordance with the objective of this utility model, a composition and method for creating a feed supplement consisting of a mineral and vitamin complex for lambs and pregnant ewes are proposed. Each 1.0 kg of the feed supplement contains a mineral complex (818-892 g), a vitamin complex (1.8-3.2 g), and a microelement complex (132-142 g). The mineral complex consists of 430-470 g of purified marble flour (CaCO3), 300-330 g of calcium phosphate (Ca(HPO4)2) and 88-92 g of calcium lactate (Ca(C₃H₅O₃)₂). The microelement complex consists of 103-106 g of copper sulfate pentahydrate (CuSO₄ 5H₂O), 0.3-0.5 g of tetrabasic zinc chloride (Zn5(OH)8Cl2 H2O, TBZC), 1-2 g of L-selenomethionine (C5 H11NO2Se), 0.1-0.3 g of potassium iodide (KI), 25-28 g of cobalt chloride hexahydrate (CoCl₂ 6H₂O) and 3.5-4.5 g of manganese sulfate monohydrate (MnSO₄ H₂O). The vitamin complex consists of 4-5 mg of vitamin D encapsulated in polymers (pectin, polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene glycol) with an activity of 400,000-500,000 IU, 1.01.5 mg of vitamin K encapsulated in polymers (pectin, polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene glycol), 1-2 g of apple leaf powder and 0.81.2 g of dandelion ground part powder. The preparation method consists of the following stages: Stage 1 – preparation of a microelement complex: weighing and grinding the components (Zn5(OH)8Cl2 H2O, C5H11NO2 Se, KI, MnSO₄ H₂O), except for CuSO₄ 5H₂O and CoCl₂ 6H₂O (they are ground separately) and uniform mixing of all components; Stage 2 – preparation of a mineral complex: weighing and grinding all components and uniform mixing with a microelement complex; 3 Step 1: Preparation of the vitamin and mineral complex: chop apple leaves and dandelion leaves and mix evenly with encapsulated vitamins D and K and the mineral complex from step 2. The feed supplement is added to the feed for pregnant ewes and lambs at a rate of 1.0 to 2.0%.
