Abstract
The ship's emergency power supply system is a marine uninterruptible power supply system for critical loads (computer systems and auxiliary devices). The design consists of a universal enclosure housing units that are flexibly interconnected and easily repaired and replaced, allowing a faulty unit to be swapped for a working one. The boards are also encapsulated in a soft, airtight compound to prevent dust and moisture from penetrating the circuitry. The units included in this system ensure a stabilized direct voltage and an uninterrupted supply of filtered power to consumers in the event of an unauthorized outage or power surges in the marine vessel's electrical network. The units are housed in a dielectric housing (fire-resistant plastic, ebonite, etc.) 6, which protects the units from mechanical damage. Therefore, the implementation of emergency power supply for the ship's systems will positively impact the reliability of ASTOR and, in emergency situations, will provide power to the minicomputer, allowing it to complete ongoing processes and save the data being processed at the time.
