A composition in the form of an isotonic powder for the preparation of a sports drink

Abstract

The utility model relates to the field of food products for sports nutrition and functional products used to restore water-electrolyte and energy balance in athletes, increase endurance and accelerate regeneration processes after physical exertion. A composition is proposed in the form of an isotonic powder for preparing a sports drink, containing dextrose, electrolytes, ascorbic acid, creatine monohydrate, taurine, L-carnitine tartrate, succinic acid, juniper extract, rebaudioside A, an amino acid complex including L-leucine, L-isoleucine, L-valine and L-glutamine, as well as extracts of medicinal plants. The components are contained in the following ratio, wt.%: dextrose - 70.0-90.0; L-leucine, L-isoleucine, L-valine - 3.5-6.5; L-glutamine - 1.0-4.0; creatine monohydrate - 2.5-5.0; taurine - 2.0-3.0; electrolytes - 2.0-3.0; extracts of medicinal plants - 0.05-3.0; L-carnitine tartrate - 0.7-2.0; succinic acid - 0.1-1.0; juniper extract - 0.01-0.5; ascorbic acid - 0.01-0.2; rebaudioside A - 0.01-0.09. As extracts of medicinal plants, the composition contains at least one extract or a combination thereof, selected from the group: licorice roots, cistanche stolons, rosea rhodiola root, safflower leuzea root, fruits or seeds of Chinese magnolia vine, leaves and flowers of narrow-leaved fireweed, thyme herb, ginger root, peppermint leaves, lemon balm leaves, barberry fruits, sea buckthorn fruits, rose hips and flowers, currant leaves and fruits, tarragon leaves. The technical result consists in expanding the range of compositions for the preparation of sports drinks by obtaining a multi-component isotonic powder that combines energy, electrolyte, amino acid, vitamin and plant-functional properties.
