Abstract
The utility model pertains to agricultural engineering, specifically to devices for grinding plant materials, feed, straw, hay, reeds, and wet biomass. The utility model consists of a rotary shredder comprising a cylindrical body with a loading hopper and an unloading grate, inside which is installed a rotor shaped like a multifaceted prism with stacks of hinged hammer knives. Replaceable spacer bushings are positioned between the blades to adjust the spacing between the blades depending on the characteristics of the raw material being processed. The rotor drive can be connected to an electric motor via a V-belt drive or to the tractor's PTO shaft via a gearbox. The technical result consists of self-cleaning of the working chamber and openings of the discharge grate, reduction of material circulation inside the housing, reduction of energy consumption, increased resistance to solid inclusions, and expansion of the range of permissible moisture content of the processed raw materials.
