Abstract

The utility model relates to the field of petroleum engineering, namely to pumping units USHVN (sucker-rod screw pump units based on one pump) for oil production and pumping stations and units MFNU (multiphase pumping units or stations comprising one or more pumping units) for pumping multiphase mixtures with a high content of gas and mechanical impurities. The technical objective of the proposed utility model is to improve the controllability and reliability of both multiphase pumping units and progressive cavity pumps, which have the same type of pump sections and are typically single-screw. Multiphase pumping equipment for oil and petroleum products can simultaneously pump oil and gas through a common pipeline, separating them at any suitable section, eliminating the need for additional equipment. Furthermore, this equipment enables the simultaneous pumping of oil and gas (up to 80% content) with up to 1% solids. It is known that crude oil rarely reaches the surface in its pure form. It typically arrives as a gas-laden mixture with formation water, solids, and sand. When using traditional pumping units for further pumping, separation becomes necessary. The use of multiphase pumping systems eliminates this problem. This brand's pumping equipment can also handle media with over 80% gas content, but only if equipped with a special liquefaction system. A pumping system (pumping unit or pumping station) for pumping multiphase mixtures with a high gas content consists of the following elements: one or more multiphase pumps with electric drives, control units for each pump, a separator tank for separating the liquid phase from a flow of gas-containing working medium, having an input and output line, wherein the lower section of the liquid phase separator tank is connected via a bypass line to the suction cavities of the multiphase pumps. Thanks to the bypass line, closed circuits are formed for the circulation of the liquid phase, improving the operating conditions of multiphase pumps. The proposed utility model of the pumping system is distinguished by the fact that it uses a single tank for all available pumps with a bypass line, which has branches to the inlet of each pump, each branch has its own throttle and a device for monitoring the flow of liquid placed behind it in the direction of the liquid flow, Each flow meter is connected to the control unit of the corresponding pump, flowing through the corresponding branch of the bypass line to the suction cavity of each pump. The practical application of this technical solution has enabled the industrial pumping of multiphase mixtures with a gas content of up to 99.5% using pumping stations equipped with four to five multiphase pumps with varying nominal capacities. Thus, the use of the proposed pumping system for producing and pumping multiphase mixtures with a high gas content, which features the aforementioned distinctive features in combination with known ones, allows for improved controllability and operational reliability of multiphase pumping units. At the same time, the bulkiness and complexity of the production system itself, as well as the in-field oil gathering, treatment, and pumping, are reduced.
