Abstract

This utility model relates to plant biotechnology, specifically to methods for inducing androgenesis in in vitro cultures of common wheat anthers. It can be used in wheat breeding and biotechnology to produce embryoids, haploid plants, and doubled haploid plants. The objective of this utility model is to increase the efficiency of androgenesis induction by selecting the optimal pretreatment regimen for donor material and nutrient medium for a specific common wheat genotype. The technical result is an increase in the yield of embryoids per 100 anthers and the formation of a more favorable morphological profile of the resulting embryoids. The specified result is achieved by using ears of soft wheat of the genotypes Pavon 76, 34 / 32 and 58 / 56, selected at the stage of the middle uninuclear microspore, subsequent pre-treatment of the donor material by sequential cold-heat exposure (keeping at 4°C for 14 days followed by exposure to 33°C for 48 hours) and cultivating anthers on nutrient medium N6 with 2.5 mg / l 2,4-D and 0.5 mg / l kinetin for the genotypes Pavon 76 and 58 / 56, or on nutrient medium C17 with 2.5 mg / l 2,4-D and 0.5 mg / l kinetin for genotype 34 / 32.
