Abstract

The utility model relates to the field of automated traffic control and can be used for adaptive traffic light control in urban transport network conditions. The system comprises: vehicle detection units (1) based on a three-axis magnetometer with an autonomous power supply, placed in the road surface; pedestrian crowd detection units (2) based on a 24 GHz FMCW radar; on-board beacons (3) on public and emergency service vehicles; repeaters (4) on urban infrastructure supports; intersection control units (5); interface adapters (6) with galvanic isolation and support for the TSCU, OCIT, UTMC, NTCIP 1202 protocols; mesh network coordinating node (7); IEEE 802.15.4 / ZigBee PRO self-organizing mesh network (8). All nodes (2)-(5) and (7) are built on a single hardware architecture ESP32-C6 and ZigBee coprocessor CC2652P or EFR32MG24. The intersection control unit implements a modified Max-Pressure algorithm with an expanded pressure function that takes into account accumulated vehicle waiting time, pedestrian pressure, and emergency response priority. It supports five operating modes: initialization, normal, priority, recovery, and fixed. An interface adapter enables connection to existing traffic controllers without replacing the installed hardware. The technical result is a reduction in the average waiting time for vehicles by 19-27%, autonomous operation of each intersection in the event of a communication failure, the formation of a dynamic green corridor for special vehicles, AES-128 hardware encryption, and a reduction in installation labor intensity due to the elimination of cable infrastructure.
