Abstract
This utility model relates to the processing of polymeric materials and is intended for the production of hollow articles using rotational molding. The claimed composition for producing hollow articles includes virgin butene linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) and recycled hexene linear high-density polyethylene (HDPE). Virgin butene LLDPE is used as a binder and plasticizing matrix, ensuring rheological compatibility of the components and uniform distribution of the recycled hexene HDPE throughout the product, forming a homogeneous monolithic structure across the entire wall thickness. The content of recycled hexene HDPE in the composition is 80-90% by weight, with the remainder being virgin butene LLDPE. The composition is processed using standard rotational molding methods without the use of multilayer structures, foaming agents, and additional technological operations. The technical result consists in expanding the possibilities of using recycled hexene HDPE in rotational molding, increasing the degree of recycling of secondary polymer resources and ensuring stable mechanical and impact characteristics of products comparable to or superior to the characteristics of products made from virgin polyethylene, when using standard processing modes.
