Abstract
The utility model relates to agriculture, namely to the remediation of soils contaminated with heavy metals. The sorbent-ameliorant for remediation of soils contaminated with heavy metals contains natural minerals and biologically active compounds, where expanded vermiculite is used as a natural mineral, and humic substances are used as biologically active compounds, and the sorbent-ameliorant also contains Chlorella vulgaris microalgae as a biosorption-active organic component, with the following ratio of components, wt.%: - expanded vermiculite - 95.24%, - humic substances - 2.38% - microalgae Chlorella vulgaris - 2.38% The proposed utility model provides for the production of a sorbent-ameliorant with pronounced sorption and ameliorative properties, capable of reducing the mobility of heavy metals, reducing their environmental hazard and simultaneously improving the physical and chemical properties of the soil. The developed preparation, based on natural minerals and biologically active compounds, is intended for the remediation of soils contaminated with heavy metals. It is an effective, technologically simple to manufacture, and environmentally safe product.
